mrs. kipling was originally supposed to be a capybara but the capybara died in the plane from peru so disney had to scramble to find another animal and one of their trainers just sorta volunteered his pet lizard (the lizard is named frank)

he's probably one of the nicest guys in showbiz after seeing him live and having him talk to all of us college kids tbh

Even before Chris Pratt was cast to voice the titular cat in his upcoming movie, I always felt Kevin Chamberlain would also work as the voice of Garfield, given his performance on "Jessie", and the fact that Bertram has about the same sarcastic and snarky personality Garfield has. Sure, about everyone can agree that the late Lorenzo Music, or even Frank Welker (the current voice of Garfield) will always be the definitive voice for Garfield, but this was just how I would've imagined Garfield being voiced.
