Does the lamb care about their followers? In my mind not really…
Their followers are just that, theirs. In the lambs head they, subconsciously, associate their followers with a new flock to be apart of but they are also the shepherd. They care for them because that is all they have outside of the powers of godhood. It brings them pride when they are happy and they carry out the appropriate rituals when death occurs(they of course have strong feeling on death) but it’s certainly not out of a place of genuine care or compassion when they die.
It’s caretaking, plain and simple, but they are fond of it more so cause their followers are a representation of their growth as a god rather than a pledge of loyalty to them.

My sleep schedule has been a total bloodbath lately bc of like, the ebb and flow of mental illness, plus having a ton of work to do, plus the fact that I am already literally nocturnal in a way that I embrace. But this is all to say that yesterday, I stayed awake through morning, all the way until about 3pm. I went to bed. I woke up at 5am. Having slept through every cautionary alarm I set.

regarding tags on your last rb: i feel like ling burns water when he tries to cook but can also make a not half bad basic meal. i feel like these concepts coexist in him
I COULD SEE THAT TBH. during the camping trip from hell, he absolutely ruins several soups and is permanently removed from cooking duty, but then they end up having access to a real kitchen and he somehow pulls together a halfway decent stir fry and everyone is stunned

coming back and having to backscroll the dash to witness what set it on fire in the first place, always a delight (ofc it was Finn and his unchecked Byler is happening isms, what did i expect. every time him or Noah do a panel/interview somewhere i'm viscerally reminded of why they're not allowed to publicly be in the same room under any circumstance, the NDAs would seriously kill them)
