Newscaster Musketeers AU?
1. They work in The Onion (or their universe's equivalent of The Onion)
2. Louis, the city's mayor, thinks it is a serious news network and hence takes everything said by them rather literally.
3. Anne cannot roll her eyes enough at her idiot husband. She looks forward to the 9 p.m Debates with René d'Herblay though
4. Sylvie is the editor-in-chief. She is always flirting with Athos which never fails to make him flustered.
5. Richelieu is the CEO of a rival "serious" news network and is always looking down upon these "lesser" journalists.
6. Porthos has made it his life's mission to prank every colleague in the institution. Sometimes it ends hilariously. Sometimes it ends hilariously but only in hindsight

I'm probably a bit predictable but Portamis Star Trek AU :D
My knowledge of Star Trek outside of Picard is abysmal. This was so hard, Orion why would you do this to me? I tried to google and you know how that usually turns out so trekkies please feel free to correct me
1. Aramis initially trained to be a Medical Officer but soon discovered that he was much better suited for Command.
2. Porthos' mother was a respectable officer in Starfleet (and still very much hale and hearty thank you very much) and he is proud to be following in her footsteps. Treville and Marie-Cessette du Vallon were colleagues
3. The name of their ship is Alexandre Dumas
4. They once did a dramatic adaptation of The Count of Monte Cristo on the holodeck. Porthos played the titular Count, Edmond Dantès, while Aramis played his rival, Fernand Mondego, because everyone thought it would be hilarious. It was.
5. D'Artagnan was very confused after discovering that the always bickering Flight Control Officer and Chief of Security are actually a couple.
(Yes, Aramis is a pilot. Did I let STP influence me? Of course, I did, thank you very much)
Edit: Because I forgot it said "5+ headcanons" 🤦
6. Athos once caught them on the holodeck shooting melons off each other's head using antique pistols they acquired from god-knows-where. He went back to his quarters pretending he saw nothing

-
This pain of strong souls, which does not spread outside and which feeds on its silence, is the most dangerous and the most terrible; instead of filtering drop by drop by way of tears, it collects in the depths of the breast, and it is only when the breast breaks that we see the havoc it has produced.

so rarely do i get the spark to draw for fun these days - but here are some musketeers!!!!
wanted to redraw an old piece from college (embarrassing to share my old work 😖 but at least i can see how i’ve grown, and i should appreciate that i was still having fun back then)
i like how young Porthos came out the best. He and d’Artagnan were the easiest to draw, but Athos and Aramis challenged me a bit!
I love these characters 😭

The woes of an author
Me: So, is the longer gun that Aramis carries an arquebus or musket?
My buddies, the historical artillery nerds: Yesn't

Before yesterday I posted the sketch of Aramis. Now, the “tattoo” itself! :)  However, it’s not a true tattoo but my own jagua gel drawing on my  hand.

Viaggio in Calabria: Il Profeta
Viaggio in Calabria: Il Profeta

My sketch and also a tattoo design depicting my favourite Musketeer - Aramis. He is a truly fascinating fictional character. To be honest, I love him the most as the mysterious and charismatic Bishop of Vannes. Oh, yeah, that deliciously sneaky bastard and almost a villain! ❤ I admire his word duels with D’Artagnan. Feints within feints! ❤ In my opinion “Le Vicomte de Bragelonne” is truly the best novel of The D’Artagnan Romances set.

Viaggio in Calabria: La Gabbia di Ferro
