Still not over the fact that Peter Quill convinced Florence to name a child after a state to give Indiana Jones vibes

And then the child basically lived up to the name by becoming an archaeologist. And even wears the fucking hat.

Plus, it was Florence's snide way of giving in to her father's wishes to name a grandchild after him. So Kent -> Kentucky

Most people call him Kenny (Like Indy LOL)

Only difference is his goal is to repatriate artifacts to their rightful owners and ensure that powerful ones don't fall into the wrong hands. Like his great-grandfather, he's almost entirely against destroying items unless absolutely necessary.

I also love how long they take to realize that he's the proper choice to be the Dr Fate successor, as opposed to his cousin Griffin (Hawk's son, who is technically the current "Dr Fate" since Kent is retired)

Griffin still gets Fate-ish abilities, but deeeefinitely doesn't take on the mantle. I want to design a special sword for him that he uses instead of straight-up magic. Because... oh boy is he bad at it 😅
