What do you like about jc?
Oh my goodness what don't I love about him!
Well, first and most importantly, he has a purple lightning whip.
Secondly, you know how the elements of a tasty dish are salt, fat, acid, heat? Well he's salty, he's acidic, he's a spicy Yunmeng boy, and some sources of mixed repute claim he's got a nice fat ass. All the elements for a delicious snack are right there!!! He has the range, the depth, the complexity!
Jokes aside, a lot of it really is just based on vibes. I just... liked him pretty much immediately. My heart was won at "I'm his uncle. Any last words?" and it only got better from there. He's got most of my favorite lines in the book - whether funny or completely heart-wrenching, both directly in his dialog or about him. His sarcastic comments are always hilarious, and he's often enough actually a voice of reason and responsibility (promptly ignored). The vast majority of the time when he's not in some absurdly extreme and traumatic situation he's being pretty normal and seems perfectly likeable to me.
I enjoy that from the start he's mostly pretty practical. One of the first times we see him, he desperately wants to smack Lan Wangji but he's run the cost-benefit analysis in his mind and it's not worth it, so (grumpily) he does not. Some people point out his 'definitely don't start a petty fight unless you know you can win' reasoning as some sort of point of cowardice, but my reaction to that scene was thank god, finally someone in a fantasy novel has some common fucking sense!
Except, of course, on one very specific topic: Wei Wuxian. And then there's like a 50/50 chance all that consideration goes out the window instantly. A little pinch of unhinged obsession adds so much extra flavor! With the amount of overtime he's pulling in sect conferences he deserves a little derangement from time to time, as a treat. And that intensity goes both ways.
That fervent certainty that Wei Wuxian would be back some day, that not even death could hold him - a conviction bordering on madness, except in the end he was right? Hot.
On the other end, he's willing to sacrifice himself for Wei Wuxian and other people who loves over and over and over again throughout the story (even if he's mad about it), until he can't do that without throwing other people he's responsible for under the bus.
To the point that when we get to the big reveal after Guanyin Temple about how he was captured by the Wens... once the shock fades, you step back and think 'wait, why was that even a surprise to me at all?' The guy just took a sword through the chest for Wei Wuxian like an hour earlier (even if it was unnecessary and therefore mostly embarrassing), and was about to run back into that cave at the Second Siege with no spiritual power and a sword he couldn't even lift three days before that, and yet we're surprised he gave himself up back then?
And of course, the same goes for his nephew and I just love them so much. He doesn't hesitate for a moment to offer himself as a hostage instead of Jin Ling at the temple. He may sometimes struggle to express his love in a way that's more palatable than the prickly sharp thing it can sometimes be, but it's undeniably there. When Jin Ling is crying after the Second Siege, it's Jiang Cheng he goes to without hesitation - and that "Who did this to you?!" line, the way he doesn't hesitate to pull him away somewhere private and stick by his side.
Even things that are meant to cast him in a bad light, like his 400 spirit nets fiasco, show him also anxiously helicopter-uncling his way through baby's first "solo" night hunt, complete with undercover agents just in case, is proof that he at least cares very deeply. I think if you look beyond the surface, it's also pretty obvious why he'd spare no expense and use any method to give his bullied nephew the best debut night hunt possible in a society where talent and prestige are incredibly important to his future ability to consolidate power as the Jin heir. He wants to shield him from the same insecurities and pain he felt, especially where being overshadowed was used against him in ways that had specific negative impacts on his ability to protect people he cared about.
Another of the reasons I love him so much is because his grief is so intense that it's palpable. Those scenes post-fall of Lotus Pier where he's oscillating between numbed shock and fury, just... feel so real, and relatable, and resonate in way that's just horribly accurate. It's like his grief jumps off the page, you can feel the hurricane of horror and loss crashing into him. The scene at Nightless City, that moment where he says "Didn't you say that you could control it, that it would be fine?", where the last of his faith in Wei Wuxian shatters and the fracture is complete, like two halves of a whole have finally snapped apart and there's nothing left... I just love the intensity and desperation.
But even more, he keeps going after. He's stubbornly alive, despite it all, and I don't think he gets nearly enough credit for the fact that he's actually able to handle things pretty well, considering the situations involved. He has a breakdown about it and then he picks himself up and gets back to work. He's remarkably resilient, in ways that aren't necessarily flashy or obvious at first. Too much is made out of the ways he's broken or bitter when for the most part he's actually remarkably functional in the face of horrible traumas!
I have been trying very hard not to just spam my favorite quotes in here but this is really my favoritest favorite (from chapter 61) because it just sums him up so beautifully:
... the most laughable one was the YunmengJiang Sect, the people of which either had been killed or had scattered, leaving only Jiang Cheng, who was younger than even Lan XiChen and was still a child born yesterday, who had nobody in his hands but still dared call himself sect leader, holding up the banner of rebellion as he recruited new disciples.
Because he does the hard work, day in and day out. The boring, tedious, constant work - the endless late nights dealing with the constant problems. But he does it, and he mostly accomplishes what he sets out to do.
It's so sad that all the things he does very well get overshadowed by his insecurities, because in the end, hasn't he done incredible things? Hasn't he survived? Hasn't he gone from the youngest sect leader with nothing and nobody that Wen Ruohan could only laugh at, to "No matter which clan you choose to offend, you shouldn't offend the Jiang clan, and no matter which person you choose to offend, you shouldn't offend Jiang Cheng"?
He might be a little scarred, but isn't he succeeding all the same?
(He should probably hire a PR firm to handle the rumors his resting bitch face causes though.)

[JL draws on jiujiu presentation documents]
RenCheng | Mo Dao Zu Shi Modern AU 04-11-2021
[#rencheng modern days]
Jiang Cheng isn't the one at the top of the Jiang company after his father and mother passed away because he was never the successor on paper and the greedy people at the top managed to take the president's place.
He still has a good post, good enough that the money he makes is more than enough to raise jl on his own, but he is kept away from the top.
"We are waiting to see if you can do the job" he was told.
So Jiang Cheng works his ass off to prove it.
This causes him to reach exhaustion as he needs to take care of a young child, which he has no experience in doing so. adding to this all the work he has to do plus overtime at home too.
Then one time he is assigned this really important meeting with people from the Gusu Lan co. (it took a lot of convincing to have it).
but horror, he realised that parts of his paper and presentation have cute drawings made with crayons on them!!
a very sleep-deprived, stressed out and exhausted jc is mortified by this, wants to start crying and for the ground to swallow him.
But his voice barely wavers when he realises that, acting as if nothing was wrong.
It is readable.
everything else goes smoothly and jc would consider it aced 100% were it not for him not realising his little lemon boy had decided that his jiujiu important paper and presentation were meant for drawing. He was in a hurry in the morning and didn't check back.
he simply wishes Lan Qiren won't comment on it as he praises him for his good presentation and talk more about the possible contract and answers some question.
"And about this... duck," lqr says as he looks again at his papers, jc feeling like dying again.
he does get flustered this time around, now that he doesn't have a presentation to rely on. "I am sincerely sorry for this unprofessionalism," he says, "My nephew seems to have drawn on them without me noticing, I can ask for a new copy to be printed for you" he suggests.
He is a bit stunned when lqr declined, keeping the papers with the drawings.
Later on, he is relieved to hear the Gusu Lan co. did sign up with them, also relieved not to hear about his little crayon drawing incident.
Little does he know lqr grew immediately found of the man he believed should have taken over the company who is clearly doing his best with his nephew, he can understand him on that front.
They meet again on one of jc days off as he was taking jl out for his birthday. He is more relaxed now that this isn't a professional setting.
he even dare accept a dinner date suggested by lqr ("And if you want you can bring your nephew too, I understand how hard it can be to find a babysitter sometimes").
and like this, they keep meeting, jc falling for the gentleman.
lqr even manages to snatch jc away from those greedy men who won't leave him a chance and know jc will bloom better in an environment that gives him the chance to do so.
later in life jc manages to buy back the jiang company after they went nearly bankrupt.
one night, after jc finally moved in with lqr, he was searching for something in the office, only to find a familiar paper.
a presentation sheet with a duck crayon drawing. He is surprised to find this, but also still a bit embarrassed at the memory.
he is a bit surprised when arms snake around his waist, a large torso settling against his back as lqr placed his head next to his.
"Why do you still have this" jc asked.
lqr hums a bit amused, kissing his neck gently.
"Because this is the day I started to fall for a beautiful young man who did a great presentation and had a loving and warm look in his eyes despite the cute drawings his nephew did on his important papers".
something about jc was not even the slightest mad about it, tired maybe, but also loving. He did find out quickly just how good he was to his nephew, treating him like his own son.
This and his pretty face had been extremely charming to him.
maybe chuckled a bit as lqr kissed his neck some more.
He may be still embarrassed by that presentation, but he would also cherish this ducky if it was one of the reasons lqr fell for him.
====
(this started with my thought being "What if jl drew on jc important presentation paper"
I feel like it sounded better in my head ksdjbvibh anyway hope y'all love jl being the best accidental matchmaker)

Me: JC is unaware of the power he could exert over ppl with that face.
Brain: But what if Madam Yu had trained him to make the absolute best of himself and use his wiles to have the whole cultivational world eating out of his hand. With the Cloud Recesses teaching conference being his debut. 🤔
Yu Ziyuan to Jiang Yanli /Jiang Cheng: If you open your legs for someone be damn sure they’ll at least treble your net worth, or are able to give it you so good you forget your own name for the rest of the night. Accept nothing less. You are my precious babies, and you will do better than I did.
The Yunmeng disciples turn up at the Cloud Recesses having forgotten their invitation. Jiang Cheng can't believe what a forgetful fool he's been, *huge almond eyes with a dramatic shimmer of tears in them*
What's that? The gate guards can waive it just this once?
Jiang Cheng: But I wouldn't want any of you strong, handsome cultivators to get into trouble *innocent eyes with the eyelashes batting so slowly the guards can almost count every individual lash*
Yunmeng Jiang disciples are waved through. The guards will hear of nothing else, and if their reward is to see that flush of embarrassment, (faked), and watch that enchanting waist above that tempting ass as the party walk into the Cloud Recesses, then they'll consider themselves well-recompensed.
Lessons, and WWX is being a gremlin?
Jiang Cheng: I'm so sorry for how badly behaved my Shixiong is, Lan-xiansheng. *patented wide-eyed look that not even Lan Qiren can withstand*
Meanwhile the seat behind Jiang Cheng in the classroom becomes prime real estate that the other disciples start fighting over (including Wei Wuxian, who is aware of Yu Ziyuan's teachings, and intends in future to catch Jiang Cheng on the rock his world technicality, seeing as he knows he can't improve Jiang Cheng's financial or political standing).
They just want to sit behind him and watch that elegant line of his neck and the tilt of his jaw as he tips his head and listens carefully to what Lan Qiren says; or watch the light play over his inky dark hair as he bends over his work.
Oh dear! Jiang Cheng has dropped his inkbrush! Thus ensues a mad scramble as virtually everyone in the classroom struggles to assist the young Jiang heir in the retreat of said implement. In fact, that brush is dirty now, Jiang-gongzi, and the bristles might cause it to splatter ink on you, please use mine!
Jiang Cheng: Oh that's too kind *lowers his lashes coquettishly*
Jiang Cheng thinks its time to use the cold springs for a little meditative bathing? So does every living being in the Cloud Recesses too, purely coincidentally! It's worse than a crowded market in the area around the springs as Jiang Cheng carefully removes his outer robes and sashes. There isn't a single breath allowed to escape as his inner robe is untied, and every eye is lazer-focussed on him as the silk slips slowly from his shoulders. The first glimpse of prominent collar bones and winter-pale skin is too much for some, while other, braver watchers gird themselves.
Those manage to make it all the way to the point at which the now bare-chested young lord of Yunmeng reaches up to make sure his hair is tied securely, before he steps into the water with an audible gasp at the shock of the temperature. For the very few hardy souls left at this point it's the cold-stiffened nipples that finish them off.
The Lan healers are so busy treating bumps and bruises and injuries gotten during faints or embarassed flights from the springs, a new rule about private bathing appears on the wall overnight.

ep10: and then there's THIS asshole
Tumblr media
THAT BITCH. sitting on roofs is wangxian's thing!
Tumblr media
xxc looking SHARP. the very very obvious exposition here is so funny
Tumblr media
see I don't even think the fans are exaggerating when they talk about him being a kinky bitch I think it's heavily implied in the canon text
Tumblr media
SO DRAMATIC LMAO
Tumblr media
oh! people write xxc and sl as traveling together but actually before this scene they were doing their own thing and just knew each other as friends
Tumblr media
aww, younger jc had some principles after all. along with hopes and dreams. the ability to empathize with other human beings. a chance at getting married someday
Tumblr media
they keep talking about xy being so young but wwx and co. are only like 16 here and xy is clearly around their age so??? how young could he possibly be. he was younger in the novels but the timeframe is different anyway
WHY IS HE TIED UP LIKE THAT
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
LOVE this response. it could be him saying "I have no shame and you can't scare with with your implications because I don't care about my reputation' OR it could mean 'I'm already gay and everyone knows it, you bitch. your move'
Tumblr media
huaisang they are literally surrounded by corpses. why do you think
Tumblr media
wwx latching onto this and them smiling SO big at lwj...jc getting mad at him...ough
side note I think that we can assume that he's at peace with his sexuality and any resistance he has to being into lwj is much more about his hangups around commitment and being loved, and about his embarrassment over being attracted to someone so strict and unfun (and maybe also he feels like he's not allowed to want/have things in his precarious role in the family and therefore ruins his own opportunities reflexively)
lwj I think does have some internalized homophobia to work through but a lot of HIS resistance is related to feeling shame over having desires/emotions esp romantic/sexual ones (father issues, also maybe his upbringing and personality too) and also embarrassment that he likes someone as wild and unconventional as wwx. anyway
Tumblr media Tumblr media
nhs waxing poetic about handsome gentlemen for the second time in two episodes and people still write him as straight?
wwx looks so fucking miserable watching xxc walk away with no more info on his mom and jc SEES that oughhh
Tumblr media
BIG SEXY IS HERE!!!!! I am of course referring to both nmj and baxia but I couldn't get a good pic of baxia and there's a limit on the number of images per post anyway
Tumblr media Tumblr media
jc and wwx looking so pleased at the praise is ADORABLE. I actually think a fun hc is that nmj is the reason wwx knows he's into dudes
also, nmj being the ONLY person to call lwj 'wangji'! he's such a big brother...
Tumblr media
oh shit I forgot this. wwx is the one to save xy's life here! honestly this was for the best. despite all the horrible things xy did later, I don't think it would have been okay if nmj personally killed a defenseless man in cold blood just because he was angry
Tumblr media
WHAT A DICK I know I just said killing xy in cold blood out of a personal sense of anger would be bad but honestly I don't even begrudge jgy for taking his chance and murdering this guy
he's also SO stupid for letting prejudice and his ego get in the way of doing his job and carrying out his SECT LEADER'S orders
Tumblr media
iirc this is literally the only time jgy and wwx are alone in a scene together and it's just a very polite exchange and wwx thanks him for all his hard work while everyone else is feasting after the commander was a dick to him aww. flash forward 20 years and wwx is like 'I never hurt you! Why did you ruin my life!" and jgy was like 'well SOMEONE was going to and it may as well have been me!' insane
Tumblr media
this line is more romantic than "'l'll sleep on your roof tonight" imo
Tumblr media
ah the gentle longing of first love, unceremoniously doused in the cold water of the realities of war. one of the more background tragedies of this show
Tumblr media
OH FUCK THERE'S WZL!!!!! MY GUY!!!!! IN THE CORNER!!!!
Tumblr media
fun fact: apparently this is a very famous shooting location and it's used in a ton of cdramas
Tumblr media
despite this action I don't think he genuinely cares about nmj, honestly. appreciated, almost certainly. but I don't think he truly respected or cared about many people. it's just that he could see his death right there in nmj's eyes and this choice was a last-ditch gambit to preserve his own life by risking it in the most performative way possible
Tumblr media
isn't it wild that wen chao and jiang cheng have the same advice for wwx which is: stop interfering in the affairs of other clans?
Tumblr media
even the ego-blinded wen chao can tell that wwx is into lwj
honestly wwx's crush just makes me so sad in this arc. so delicate and new and he's so young and so many terrible things will happen
Tumblr media
see I think lxc valuing jgy and publicly supporting him and praising him earned him one of the only spots on the list of people jgy genuinely cares about. I don't think he respects him, at least not enough to not use him to murder his friend, but I will argue that jgy feels genuine affection for lxc and BELIEVES he never hurt him/never wanted to hurt him. this dialogue is mental, it's not a performance
this is also why jgy/lxc is more emotionally true to me than either of them with nmj (even tho I obviously don't support it or thinks jgy would be a good romantic partner), sorry nielan fans I appreciate your perspective but I think this is the more textually supported one, even if it ends much worse
Tumblr media
jgy is so fascinating to me like the way he'll twist himself into whatever he needs to in order to survive. he defends himself saying 'he said horrible things to me and beat me' then 'he insulted my mother' then 'he took credit for my accomplishments' and each one seeming to flow naturally to the next as nmj rejected those reasons…very interesting that nmj criticizes jgy for wanting praise and credit, contrasting characters like lwj, who are widely praised for not caring about credit or glory
Tumblr media
this last shot of nmj IS haunting tho. jgy may not have cared about him but I think nmj really cared about and trusted jgy, and this betrayal of someone who values justice and loyalty was very hard to take
personal highlights:
wwx comparing himself and lwj to xxc/sl
nhs complimenting xxc and sl in a gay way
wzl in his first appearance!!
wen chao noticing how much wwx likes lwj, which is kind of horrifying but also it's a good measure of just how obvious he is and people do not talk about wwx being hopelessly in love enough

Is a huge day and it is the day before this film and really John remillard needs to be busy he is mentally unfit for the duty constantly abuses her son he has nothing else to do he is a pain in the ass and he's a plane piece of garbage and doesn't direct his people in any way that works and we don't need him around really he felt bad today because he's just going to sit there and threaten a credit card thinking he's getting everything and we said we saw and threatening we don't need it we saw you bringing men in we don't need it and you won't have a deal at all and so he's out and bang like that on the street he's done and he says he doesn't care he does gets mad he sends troops down there and they're getting the s*** kicked out of them all of them are dead basically in Minneapolis and another Cruise coming in they'll be dead. Thor Freya
It's kind of a prickly pear but it's not that bad once you get in the military we have bases everywhere to maintain order and control to keep people from freaking out and being disorderly and to help them understand that where there are people and their own people are signing on and become the military they are always us
Nuada Arrianna
That's perfectly said nawada Ariana
Hera
We're on all sorts of things taking care of business and getting it done and today was a great day we need those bikes and we need those companies that we need people to go after Jesus Christ and Mary Magdalene and it is awesome the forces they're bringing our gigantic and they're defeated and the clones are out there finding them and everybody is going to gang up on this area in South Dakota it is a massive massive war it's humongous. Seems to be no end to it. We are beginning the project shortly and we're in a meeting right now and it is going to be wonderful at midnight she will arise and we're prepping now and it's above 96% by my estimate
Lobo
We're seeing what he's saying some physical problems but we're working on them and we're getting to it and it's our time now and we're shining and our people are wondering what's going on and we are hiring and signing on like madness and it's going to be a lot easier soon I'm going to have people and we're going to make it up to these for all their rude comments and threats and we're going to take them down I'm putting a hit on Dan right now for his vulgar routine and it's on our son and it says you can't communicate through the TV without paying for it and I'm not a f**** like you have a nice time getting your head crushed. And he started yelling and he started screaming and the people instead told him to shut his face and it's going on now and there are 10 people who are paying attention here and it's going to be much better shortly and he's right we need the power and we need it very badly we have a lot of things that we don't control and they put it up there today and we saw the Giant and we said we don't control her either so we need forces here and we need defenses and I'm working on that and it's awesome she's he says and she's saying it too it is awesome it's the way it should work and it's what's necessary for this particular scenario and it is too I'm very proud of our son-in-law and he's our son too he's awesome and we accept him into the family now we see his work it's everywhere he's getting upset about it a little but he's the leader and it's his job to make it work and we see that he's taking the responsibility and she is too and she's making her attention and once this project is complete she will have ascended to princess and she wants that badly and her family is going up too and that's us oh yeah he says but boy it's going to be fun I'm helping her design the bike for women and it's smaller it's going to be very fast and you might have several classes and that's a good idea too they have several classes so we should have all the classes and all these little guys are saying they'll have the classes too that's great

Welp, I finished it (minus the extras), and now I don’t know what to do with myself 😭
This was such a tight story and I really had no qualms with how anyone was written, how the plot progressed, or how everything ended. With that said, I guess my view on some characters may have changed or been complicated though, so roundup!
Jiang Cheng: still don’t like him, but now I think of him as more of a manbaby loser than someone who’s a real villain or threat (even when he was)
Jiang Yanli: an absolute delight until the burial mounds era; denial’s a real bitch
Jin Zixuan: bitch, but also dumb. If only he didn’t side with his corrupt family on instinct. Better luck next time
Jin Guangyao: STUNNING PERFORMANCE, A+ villain, at the end where he chooses death by nie mingjue’s hand all while STILL manipulating lan xichen? *chef’s kiss* may he rest in piss
Nie Mingjue: if only you weren’t a self-righteous hypocrite blinded by your own lust for vengeance, smh. Also, pick better friends
Nie Huaisang: YOU LOVE TO SEE IT. I hope he basks in that resounding victory, our true morally gray king
Lan Qiren: hypocritical bitch, but his tantrums were amusing. Him targeting a child for continual punishment cause he mad at his dead mom? Not so much
Lan Xichen: bitchmade. Pathetic faux pacifist. Loser behavior. He’s lucky jgy fucking hated him cause he earned that coffin ending. Maybe has the most chance at growth over all the other bitch characters? (Am still surprised at how much respect I lost for him at every appearance; no wonder mxtx used him as her example of “not smart” 😬)
Wen Ning: too good, too pure for this world. Also should’ve gone for broke and punched a hole in jc’s chest, you know, just for shits and giggles
Wen Qing: boss shit. Why has nobody drawn her dark(er)-skinned LIKE THE NOVEL SAYS SHE IS??? Should’ve sown jc’s organs together while she was in there, you know, just for shits and giggles
The Wen Remnants: pour one out for the homies, cause they ain’t deserve that shit, but also, how are they better people as CORPSES than the whole of the cultivation world? 🤔 how embarrassing
Luo Qingyang: queen shit, deserved a standing fucking ovation. We stan a side character who appears for only a chapter and EARNS her happy ending (unlike her loser male counterparts 😒)
The juniors: love them, love them connecting with each other, love them connecting with wen ning, love jin ling finally having friends and not turning into his loser maternal uncle (please somebody get him some therapy tho 😭)
Wangxian: 💖💖💖💖💖💖
The cultivation world: 🔪🔪🔪🔪
If i missed anyone, no I didn’t. They simply did not make waves enough to be mentioned 🤷🏽‍♀️

JC Love Month 2020 Day 2
Power and Pride
Day 2 of JC Love Month brings some fluff where the kids (mostly JL) tell JC that they admire him a whole lot, and even WWX is not exempt from that. Thankfully, that admiration goes both way.
Jiang Cheng isn’t quite sure how he came to feel like an outsider in his own home, but it’s happening, and his otherwise empty table is probably playing a big part in it.
Especially compared to the cramped one, where Wei Wuxian and his gaggle of ducklings are seated.
It’s not often that Wei Wuxian brings them around after a night hunt, but they were close to Lotus Pier and Wei Wuxian at least knows that Jiang Cheng would skin him alive if he did a job in Jiang Cheng’s territory and then didn’t even have the good grace to drop by.
It’s just a bonus that he brought the kids with him, because Jiang Cheng would never admit it, but he missed Jin Ling. It’s not often that he gets to see him anymore, not with how he’s now Sect Leader himself, and it’s good to see that Jin Ling still takes the time to do something educational but at the same time gets to spend an night with his friends.
And it only stings the tiniest bit that Jin Ling didn’t come to visit Lotus Pier before, but Jiang Cheng pushes that thought far, far away. It’s important for Jin Ling to spend some time with people his age, and not just his family.
There’s an especially loud laugh from Wei Wuxian to something Lan Jingyi said and Jiang Cheng almost feels the urge to go over there and sit with them instead of a few tables further away, but he guesses he would ruin the mood.
He’s not pleasant company, he knows it, and he would hate to ruin the good mood of the kids. They deserve some time to celebrate after their successful night hunt.
So Jiang Cheng sits alone with his tea, and keeps half an ear on the rambunctious group. It has to be enough.
“So, let’s say,” Wei Wuxian’s voice carries over and Jiang Cheng might listen in a bit more closely at that, because he still remembers that tone of voice and it promises mischief.
“Let’s say what, Senior Wei?” Ouyang Zizhen asks, leaning expectantly over the table.
“Let’s say you’d have to choose the most powerful cultivator,” Wei Wuxian says, a laugh playing around his mouth. “Who would you choose?”
“Easy,” Lan Jingyi immediately says and Jiang Cheng has to hide his snort in his tea.
He would always bet his entire fortune on the loudmouthed Lan to be the first to answer a question.
“Zewu-Jun,” Lan Jingyi then says, full of conviction, though he only gets surprised glances at that.
“Why him?” Wei Wuxian wants to know, and Jiang Cheng is unsure if he has a higher goal in mind with this question or if he is just playing around with them.
“Because he’s ranked first, of course,” Lan Jingyi confidently says, and Jiang Cheng has to admit it’s solid reasoning.
Zewu-Jun is still ranked first, despite the fact that he went into seclusion, and the list is not only about looks. It’s also about the level of cultivation after all, so Lan Jingyi made the easy, obvious choice.
“But I don’t think he’s the most powerful,” Lan Sizhui carefully says, clearly trying to not offend his friend and while Jiang Cheng admires the effort, he thinks it’s entirely impossible to offend Lan Jingyi.
“Then who do you think, huh?” Lan Jingyi wants to know, clearly more curious than offended and Lan Sizhui shrugs.
“Hanguang-Jun,” he says, very predictably if you ask Jiang Cheng.
Not that anyone seems to be even thinking of Jiang Cheng.
“How come?” Wei Wuxian questions and then he gets that dreamy look on his face that Jiang Cheng learned to abhor so much. “I mean, you’re right of course, there is no one with more power in this world than my Lan Zhan, but explain it?”
“No one with more power over your already limited awareness, maybe,” Jin Ling mutters under his breath and Jiang Cheng almost chokes on his tea when Wei Wuxian lets out an enraged yell.
There’s chaos for a while at the other table, because it seems like the kids are entirely too comfortable to roast Wei Wuxian over his sickeningly sweet feelings for Lan Wangji and Jiang Cheng is very content to stay out of that train wreck.
They do settle down eventually, and they even get back on track with the question.
“It should be kind of obvious,” Lan Sizhui says finally. “He is the Chief Cultivator after all, and that means he holds the most powerful position.”
It’s just as solid reasoning as Lan Jingyi’s pick had been but Ouyang Zizhen shakes his head.
“You all got it wrong,” he says and leans a little bit closer to them as if he’s going to tell them a secret. “The most powerful cultivator is of course the Ghost General!”
“He doesn’t even count!” Lan Jingyi cries out. “He’s a ferocious corpse, and not a cultivator anymore!”
“But you have to admit that he is more powerful than both of your picks,” Ouyang Zizhen says and Jiang Cheng forces to unclench his hand.
He is still repairing his relationship with Wei Wuxian, he gave up entirely on every reaching anything but polite distance with Lan Wangji, but he will probably forever have some animosity for Wen Ning.
In the very darkest hours of the night Jiang Cheng can admit that it’s unfair to hate Wen Ning like that, that he wasn’t wrong about what he said to Jiang Cheng during that cursed reveal of just whose golden core is inside of Jiang Cheng, but that is only in the dead of the night.
During the day, Jiang Cheng reserves the right to still be fucking mad at Wen Ning for accusing him like that when it was him, Wen Qing and Wei Wuxian who decided to go along with the medical procedure without even so much as asking Jiang Cheng about it.
It doesn’t change the fact that Wen Ning is a rather powerful being and Jiang Cheng would hate to have to go up against him if he’s really furious. Jiang Cheng is aware enough of his own strength to know that it would be a damn difficult fight; and he couldn’t even confidently say that he’d win.
“You all don’t know anything,” Jin Ling suddenly speaks up, and Jiang Cheng is moderately curious, he’s not going to lie about that.
Jin Ling doesn’t like Lan Wangji—Jiang Cheng is more than aware that it’s his fault—but he admires Zewu-Jun and he is starting to build something of a friendship with Wen Ning, so Jiang Cheng is honestly curious to hear who Jin Ling thinks of as the most powerful cultivator.
Not to mention that Wei Wuxian is sitting right there, and for all that Jiang Cheng wishes it would be different, he doubts that there is anyone who could match Wei Wuxian at his Yiling Patriarch high.
“Who is it then?” Lan Jingyi asks, chin stubbornly set and Jin Ling glares at him.
“The most powerful cultivator is of course my jiu-jiu,” Jin Ling says, absolute certainty in his voice and everyone goes very quiet as they dart glances at Jiang Cheng.
“Why do you think so?” Wei Wuxian asks yet again, but his voice is soft in a way that Jiang Cheng can hardly stand and he has half a mind just getting up and fleeing.
But then Jin Ling turns around to him and pins him with his look and Jiang Cheng stays right where he is.
He didn’t know his nephew had already perfected that glare.
“Because he survived,” Jin Ling says. “Because he lost his parents and his home, and then his siblings. He had a destroyed Sect and a tiny baby to look after and he did it,” Jin Ling says and Jiang Cheng can’t hold his gaze any longer, but Jin Ling mercilessly goes on.
“He rebuild his Sect; and not only that, but he made it the most powerful of the Great Four. He raised the kid, that wasn’t even his own, and all the while he still managed to get the respect of the people he leads.”
“Jin Ling, you are my pride and joy, but would you please shut the fuck up?” Jiang Cheng bites out, feeling just a little bit choked up, but no one is listening to him.
“And he did it all without his own golden core,” Wei Wuxian chimes in, voice still so horribly soft, “because he even survived losing it.”
“He did a decent job at raising the little mistress, too,” Lan Jingyi says and even though Jin Ling turns to glare at him, it’s clearly meant as very high praise.
“He doesn’t just have the respect of his people,” Lan Sizhui suddenly says and shrinks in on himself, just a little bit when Jiang Cheng starts to glare at him.
It’s still not enough to shut them all up, but Jiang Cheng has to try at least.
“They adore him; they love him so much, all of them, and it’s so easy to see, too.”
Jiang Cheng doesn’t think it’s easy to see at all, but Ouyang Zizhen speaks before Jiang Cheng can get a word in otherwise.
“Oh, yeah, did you see how they all practically light up when he walks through the market? And they all give him samples of their stuff for free, too, and not because they are afraid of him or they want to show off. They just genuinely want to show him their appreciation!”
“Ah, but that’s not a new thing,” Wei Wuxian says and smiles slightly. “People always fell over themselves to make Jiang Cheng smile.”
“That’s not true,” Jiang Cheng says, because he remembers the times he and Wei Wuxian went to the market.
The people fell all over themselves to please Wei Wuxian, not him.
“Don’t be stupid,” Jin Ling bites out, and Jiang Cheng is taken aback at how mad he suddenly seems. “Do you even know how often people ask me where you are when I go to the market alone? No one cares about me, they only want to see you. I bet it was the same with Wei Wuxian.”
“He’s right,” Wei Wuxian nods immediately. “I couldn’t take two steps without people crowding me in, asking where their favourite was.”
“Shut up!” Jiang Cheng gets out, though he’s aware that he’s blushing bright red.
He knows he has the respect of his people, but their love? He never dared to hope for that.
“So, yes. My jiu-jiu is the most powerful, because he survived all kinds of tragedies and still came out on top.”
“You’re right,” Lan Jingyi nods and then everyone is suddenly agreeing with Jin Ling.
Much to Jiang Cheng’s embarrassment.
“Shut up, all of you,” he snaps out, “you’re all wrong.”
“Get over here then, and tell us why,” Wei Wuxian very eagerly says and winks him over.
The kids make space for him immediately, and they are all looking expectantly at Jiang Cheng, too, so really. What else can he do but go over there and join them.
He refuses to think about the warm, fluttering feeling in his chest at the thought that he gets included in this.
“Tell us who you think is the most powerful,” Wei Wuxian says, excited like a little kid, and when he leans forward, Jiang Cheng pushes him away with a hand to his face.
“Hey,” Wei Wuxian protest, but the kids all laugh and even Jiang Cheng has to bite back a smile.
“If you think I’m going to name you, you’re mistaken,” he tells Wei Wuxian who gives him an almost devastating pout.
“But I was so powerful back in the day,” Wei Wuxian whines and Jiang Cheng rolls his eyes.
“And then you died, so really, how powerful can you be?” he wants to know. “And don’t even get me started on the fact that you made it back, because you had nothing to do with that! That was all Mo Xuanyu.”
Jiang Cheng is aware that the kids are staring at him and Wei Wuxian and it occurs to Jiang Cheng that they have never seen them banter like this.
Like they used to do before everything went to shit, and it gives Jiang Cheng hope that they can repair their relationship.
“But who else could it be?” Wei Wuxian whines as he slumps over the table and Jiang Cheng flips his forehead.
“Sect Leader Yao, of course,” Jiang Cheng says, smug as anything when he sees dropped jaws all around the table and then he laughs.
“No, no, you have to explain,” Jin Ling suddenly says and Jiang Cheng calms down just long enough to do so.
“Think about it. He’s mediocre at best but he’s still around. It’s been almost twenty years and he still aggravates everyone at the Cultivation Conferences. No one killed him yet and he still didn’t die. Clearly, he is more powerful than any of us.”
“That’s right,” Wei Wuxian gasps. “He survived the Sunshot Campaign, and I remember he was amongst those who called for my blood, too.”
“And then he survived all of Jin Guangyao’s scheming, and every fight that happened since,” Jiang Cheng adds and it’s only then that Jin Ling smacks his arm.
“Stop this, you hate Sect Leader Yao, you would never vote for him,” Jin Ling says and Jiang Cheng has half a mind to ruffle his hair.
“But I mean it!” Jiang Cheng says but now Wei Wuxian also caught on to the fact that he was just fucking with them, and he narrows his eyes at Jiang Cheng.
“No. Tell us the truth.”
“Fine,” Jiang Cheng says and rolls his eyes at him, mostly so that he doesn’t have to look when he says his next words. “I always thought that my brother was the most powerful,” he mutters and this time the silence that falls over the table is a very expectant one.
When Jiang Cheng finally does lift his gaze again, he sees that all of the kids are looking at Wei Wuxian instead of him, and so Jiang Cheng does the same.
“A-Cheng,” Wei Wuxian says and Jiang Cheng is startled to see tears in his eyes. “I love you, too,” Wei Wuxian cries out and then throws himself over the table to hug Jiang Cheng.
“Let go of me, you gremlin,” Jiang Cheng complaints, but he doesn’t push Wei Wuxian away as hard as he maybe could.
“I always thought my brother was the strongest, too,” Wei Wuxian then mutters and Jiang Cheng has to close his eyes against the sting of tears.
“Ah, fuck,” Jiang Cheng whispers.
“No swear words at the table,” Jin Ling says, clearly out of habit but also way too late, and Jiang Cheng is thankful for it, because it breaks the weird tension.
“There,” Ouyang Zizhen says with great satisfaction. “He did a very good job raising the little mistress.”
It sets off a new round of roughhousing, this time between the kids, mostly, and Jiang Cheng takes the break to compose himself again.
But when he catches Wei Wuxian’s still somewhat misty eyes over the table, he figures it’s not entirely necessary to be his usually grumpy self.
He can let loose a little bit, with his family around.

Jiang Cheng wasn’t running. No, he wasn’t breaking any Gusu rules. He was, however, sprinting like a mad dog around the bamboo houses of the Lan’s private dwellings. After turning around many bends to lose his quarry, he realized he himself was lost. Great.
And, on top of that, Jiang Cheng could still hear the looming, playful trot of his annoying broth- of THAT annoying person not far off, singing out his name and not caring a wit for the quiet of the mountain’s serenity. So, JC decided to hide rather than run. He had to do something to get that brat off his tail.
So he hopped a reed fence and couched beside someone’s back deck in hopes of missing his bro- that person’s attention.
It didn’t work. Jiang Cheng could hear Wei Wuxian’s happy humming as he headed his way. The hunt was a game to him, even giving JC warning before he pounced!
JC was not a coward, he was not hiding in fear of another man. He just... couldn’t really smack this one around and he was REALLY really annoying.
“Shit,” he cussed under his breath, just before a door slid open. Great, now the resident was going to have a reason to gossip about seeing a sect leader cower in the bushes (because, of course those told not to gossip were the biggest gossips of all!)
Before he could bolt, however, a figure stood in the doorway. They appeared almost ghostly in white Lan robes, shadowed heavily by the darkness of the room inside. But they weren’t a ghost, as a hand waved them inside. JC only hesitated a moment before hearing Wei Wuxian come near the reed fence before he dashed inside like purple lightning.
The reprieve of relief was momentary when the figure’s hand shot out and touched the side of his neck. JC was surprised a civilian could get past his honed training, when the hand retracted holding up a slip of paper. It looked like a miniature talisman and he could clearly make out the ‘tracker’ symbols in various, tiny writings. Wei Wuxian was TRACKING HIM! No wonder Jiang Cheng couldn’t get the slip.
A moment later, however, the small talisman burned away with a quick flicker of fire. Jiang Cheng looked past the hand holding the tracker and it took his eyes a moment to realize he was looking at Sect Leader Lan himself.
Before anything was said, however, the Lan Leader put a finger to his lips in a silent ‘shhh’ and hovered in front of the crack of the open door to block the view of the inside.
“Oh, Sect Leader Lan!” Wei Wuxian said, a halted tone as if he were just caught.. which he was just caught in the sect leader’s back garden. “Sorry, I was looking for, uh, well, have you seen Jiang Cheng? He was just around here and...”
“I did hear something stumble through the back,” Lan Xichen said smoothly, his smile barely seen in the dark room, contracting with the mild, overcast sunlight outside. “But it kept going. I thought perhaps it were a few rabbits come to say hello.”
“More like a feral cat,” Wei Wuxian teased. There was a long pause with a few hemmings and hawwings from Wei Wuxian. “Ah, okay. I swear he was around here but.. thank you!” And off he went.
Lan Xichen’s eyes followed him as he went before the door slid shut, sealing them into semi darkness once more. The man looked... bad, Jiang Cheng thought. His face was gaunt, making his otherwise pretty cheek bones look like blades. His eyes were dull, the smile not reaching them, and dark circles lay underneath. His smile was still a lovely as ever, but it was softer now, less humored, more forced.
His hair was down and limp, a little greasy, and he only wore a loose, open robe over his underrobes, clearly not expecting company, or perhaps he just woke up.
“Thanks,” Jiang Cheng grumbled.
“Don’t mention it,” Lan Xichen returned, his smile a little more pleasant. “I know how he loves you, but can be a handful.”
“I thought you were out of seclusion,” Jiang Cheng returned, raising a brow as he stepped away from the door. Lan Xichen followed and swept his arm to the table where a tea set was. Jiang Cheng highly doubted that the water was fresh and shook his head.
“I am,” Lan Xichen said, surprised. He took a seat and also appeared to wonder about the water as he peaked inside.
The room itself was not the bright, airy place he’d visited before. A handful of times he broke with shame and went to elders for advice they spoke in here. And since all of his leaders at Lotus Pier were dead, he sought out the next in line of his teachers. Rather than the sweet smell of fresh air, it was humid with dust and old incense, the blue light was yellowed, and the shadows lingered as if old memories that would never leave.
“You know it’s past noon time, right?”
“Is it really?” Lan Xichen gave up on the tea and swept his wrinkled robe sleeve across the table to wipe away an embarrassing layer of dust. “I was painting and lost track of time. I’m sorry I did not greet you at the gates as I should have this morning.”
“No bother,” Jiang Cheng said. “I’ve been here for three days.”
Another look of surprise crossed the sunken sect leader’s face. He appeared to Jiang Cheng like a deer; soft and fragile despite the strength under it all.
“I... I am sorry,” He stammered. “It.. I...”
“It’s fine. Wei Wuxian’s been my guide,” Jiang Cheng rolled his eyes. “Pest won’t leave me alone.” He picked up one of the monotone painting still laid out to dry. It was obvious to him who it was, regardless of the unclean strokes and abstract feel. “I’m only here to check up on Jin Ling and his classes.”
“Oh- no, please Sect Leader Jiang, don’t--”
Jiang Cheng pulled the sheet of paper out of Lan Xichen’s panicked reach. “If you think I can’t tell who this is, you may forget that we co-parented that boy together.”
“I’m sorry, no one was...” Lan Xichen deflated. “It wasn’t for anyone else to see. I just... don’t want to forget his face.” He peaked up at Jiang Cheng from his messy, limp hair. He smelled a little ripe. “I’m sorry. I’m horrible for trying to... keep him.”
“Yeah, and he was the uncle Jin Ling liked more,” Jiang Cheng set the painting back down, which was quickly swept up by the other sect leader. “Kind of sucks that a man like that can be so human.”
“He was human,” Xichen protested, his eyes finally lighting up with passion. “He was just...”
“Human, yeah.”
“Strange...”
“Learning a few things about the complexities of the human heart. And sharing it.” He put a hand on his chest.
...
Somewhere in the woods of Gusu, Wei Wuxian crept up behind his lover and pounced him from behind. “They’re talking,” he said gleefully and kissed his cheek.
“Mm,” Lan Wangji said as he turned to get a better grip of his husband and place him properly into his lap. It ended up with a half lounge of the sprawling demon cultivator.
“They’ll be friends in no time, trust me!” he said, grinning with ease. “All I need to do is pester him every time he comes.”

JC Caylen Imagine: “Don’t Be Sorry”
Tumblr media
Today's has been a pretty eventful day to say the least. While my boyfriend JC was out with some old friends who came into town to visit him, me and my dad got into a fight... again.
But the thing that hurts the most is not only is this the 4th time in a row he's been caught, but I'm the one that keeps witnessed it. Your probably wonder "the 4th time? Why do you keep falling for his bullshit?"
Welp. He's my dad. I'm not just gonna give up on him completely. When we would catch him doing something he would let fake tears fall from his eyes as he was apologizing to us and we would forgive him.
And then we'd catch him again, he'd apologize, we'd forgive him. It was an endless cycle. But this time I knew I can't get my hopes up to high anymore.
My mom always told me it takes years to build trust and seconds to destroy it. I felt that. He didn't only ruin my trust with him, but my trust with everyone else. I let everything that happened get to my head and now I have major trust issues. With the exception of one person.
JC Caylen
Before i met JC my life was pretty miserable. I lived in Florida with my mom and my older sister. After my mom and dad got divorced, my family slowly started going down hill.
My dad was barely in the picture due to his constant sneaking around as he was hooking up with random people and getting drunk and being so lazy that he never even bothered covering his tracks, allowing us to discover his dirty little secrets for ourselves.
My poor brother was clueless. Had no idea what his own father was doing behind his back and we didn't bother telling him because 1.) he was a very sensitive boy at the time and 2.) he looked to my dad for everything. My dad was his role model.
After awhile of all of this, my sister was diagnosed with depression. Not too severe but even the smallest bit can make you feel like shit. And as for me, I struggled with self love. Because I didn't really have a good male figure on my life I looked to guys for verification.
But after i spent a week with him and the rest of the O2l house at Vidcon i felt like my life was finally picking up. Fast forward a couple years and my sisters depression is gone, my brother grew up to be an amazing dad of 2 kids, and as for me, i stopped looking for verification in guys and me and JC started dating.
We've been dating for 2 years now and he has been nothing but amazing. I love him so much and I know he loves me. Ever since we've started dating people have been telling me they've never seen me so happy before or they've never seen me smile or laugh that much before.
I just wished he was here to comfort me right now. I haven't told him what happened yet. I didn't wanna ruin his day. He was hanging out with some old friends of his who flew down to visit him.
I wasn't gonna burden him with my stupid family issues while he was out with his friends. I turned on a random disney movie and began to watch as I continued to cry at random times when the old memories would pop up in my mind.
I would squeeze my eyes shut and burry my head in my pillow trying to make them stop but they never went away, no matter how hard i tried. Eventually I decided enough was enough. I just couldn't take it anymore. I had to call JC. I grabbed the phone and went to his name in my contacts. I dried my tears and took a few deep breaths to stop myself from crying so he wouldn't notice and be too worried.
After attempting to recollect myself, i pressed call, holding the phone up to my ear as i heard it ring. A few seconds later the line picked up and i heard his sweet voice on the other end.
"What's up baby." JC said in a super deep voice cause you to giggle only slightly.
"Hey JC. Um, I was just wondering when you were gonna be home?"
"Is my girl missing me already?"
"What do mean already you've been gone for hourrrrsssss." She groaned causing him to chuckle.
"I know baby I'm sorry. I'll actually be home soon."
I sighed with relief before responding, "Thank god!"
"Is everything ok (y/n)?"
Shit. Don't cry don't cry don't cry don't cry.
She sniffles a little and swallowed hard.
"Y-ya baby why do you ask?" My breath was uneven and he could tell.
"No no. Your not ok. I'm coming over right now."
Don't mess this up (y/n) he's having fun. Don't ruin his day.
"JC it's fine. I'm gonna be ok. Just go hang out with your friends. Have fun!"
"Gonna be?!"
I pulled back and cringed at my own words. Shouldn't have said that.
"Gonna be ok??? (y/n) what happened???" JC exclaimed again. She sighed and rubbed her forehead.
"JC I'm-"
Tell him your fine. He's with his friends. He doesn't need this right now.
Tell him what you tell everyone else in your life. Your fine.
"It's my dad again." I said with tears in my eyes.
What the fuck (y/n)! How could you?!
He can tell by my voice I was crying.
"Fuck. Baby I'm coming over right now." He side sternly. Was he mad?
"N-no JC it's ok really I-"
"No! (y/n) it's not ok! Baby he's put you through so much shit and I'm tired of it! You don't deserve that! You nor your family!" He began to shout a little and it caused her to cry harder. Not because I'm scared of him. But because he cared so much and that meant the world to her. He's the only one who gets it.
He did a deep sigh and you already knew he was running his hands through his hair and pacing, something he did when he was stressed, nervous, or in this case pissed off.
"I'm coming over. I'll be there in a few just hang on ok?"
At first no words were spoken. She didn't want to agree because she still felt bad about burdening him with it. But she was going to lose her fucking mind if he wasn't holding her ASAP so she finally spoke a barely audible "ok".
Immediately the phone call was ended. (y/n)'s phone slid out of her hand and onto the floor. She sat there curled up on her bed for awhile, staring blankly at the floor as her head was leaned on the head rest.
The thoughts and images filled her head again and she began to cry and cry and cry. "Go away." She whispered with quivering lips. "Go away!"
Not too long after the phone call she heard keys rattling as whoever was on the other side, who she assumed was JC, tried to open the door. She then heard footsteps quickly going up the stairs.
Her teary eyes slowly looked up to the door and saw the door knob slowly being turned, then the door opened revealing her boyfriend. In her mind she was smiling, finally being able to see him, but on the outside she unintentionally showed the opposite.
They made eye contact and (y/n) saw the sympathetic look on JC's face. She hated it when people would look at her like that and he knew it. He just couldn't help it. It makes her feel weak and helpless even tho those are the exact words that describe her in this moment.
When she saw the look on his face she quickly looked away, turning her head to the side and squeezed her eyes shut as more tears slipped down her cheeks, slightly embarrassed by her fragile appearance.
She felt the bed beside her dip down meaning JC was now sitting next to her on the bed.
"Baby..."
JC gently touched her chin and moved it to where her eyes had nowhere else to look but his.
"I... I am so sorry."
After looking into his beautiful brown eyes, (y/n) finally gave in and buried her face in his shoulder as she sat in his lap in a straddle like position.
Her arms were tightly wrapped around his neck and the more she cried the tighter she would hold on. In return JC would squeeze her back, both arms wrapped around her waist. He then began to run his hand through her hair and draw small circles on her back in a soothing motion.
JC continued to whisper little nothings in her ear as she gripped his shirt that was soaked with her tears.
"You don't deserve this."
"None of this is your fault."
"You're an amazing girl."
"You're my amazing girl."
After a few minutes or so of them sitting in silence, JC asked her if she wanted to lay down and cuddle while they watched a movie. (y/n) could only nod her head as they repositioned themselves to where she was laying on JC's stomach with her face still buried in his chest. He put on her favorite Disney movie "Finding Nemo" hoping it would encourage her to lift her head and hopefully help calm her.
When she heard the music play softly from the TV she slowly and hesitantly lifted her head from JC's chest as she positioned her head to where she could see the movie displayed on the large screen. JC smiled at her and kissed the top of her head. Occasionally throughout the movie he would rub her back soothingly, play with her hair, and give her kisses on the top of her head or forehead, causing (y/n) to smile slightly.
"Thank you... Seriously," (y/n) said quietly. He was surprised at first, judging by the fact that neither of them have said a word to each other for about an hour (not in a rude way of course but because there was no need for words. They just needed time to think and relax). "No problem, baby. I love you so so much."
(y/n) look up at him, resting her chin on his chest. He noticed how the red puffiness in her eyes went down and there was not a tear in sight, causing his heart to warm and a smile to make its way across his face. "I love you too." They shared a short but sweet kiss and went to sleep cuddled up in their bed as "Finding Nemo" continued to play and lull them into a deep and peaceful sleep.
ngl I hate writing sad stuff (unless y’all request it obvi) but I got this idea and couldn’t get it out of my head so you’re welcome. If you have any requests and/or feedback let me know plz! Love y'all💋                                                                                                                                 ~Kbug :)

"Just leave me ALONE" for Xicheng? Preferably if LXC says it JC? Preferably in public or in front of wangxian and the juniors ? E.g. JC is the only one, who notices LXC is having a bad day and he more or less subtlely tries to get him to talk ? But LXC tries to be fine cause he is out of seclusion so he can't still have bad days'?
But if you have another idea do that! no pressure ! Thanks in advance !
hello there, the way this is so specific has been killing me for DAYS 😂  I had to send screenshots to my friend bc of how specific it is dude, like I love that you know exactly what you want bc it makes my brain not have to work as hard, but BRO dskjfhkasd why do u like to see my boy suffer So much 😭😭😭
i hope this lives up to ur expectations!!! 🥰
It had been a long day. A long and tiring day, so if he lost his temper, he couldn’t be blamed, right? He just wanted to go back home and play the flute, perhaps sleep a little, but he was absolutely done with spending time with everyone else. So, why did he find himself still in the company of so many people? Why was he still sitting here with Wangji, Wei Wuxian, Jiang Wanyin and a handful of juniors? Why?
This was all Wei Wuxian’s fault, he was the one that insisted everyone spend more time together. Xichen already saw plenty of Wei Wuxian, Wangji, Sizhui and Jingyi, as well as often seeing Jiang Wanyin and Jin Rulan, due to sect business. If anything, the only person here that Lan Xichen rarely saw was Ouyang Zizhen, and it wasn’t as if he’d spent much of the day speaking to him.
Jiang Wanyin had taken it upon himself to seat himself down next to Lan Xichen, talking to him, hoping that he could get to the root of why the other had been acting differently. “You’ve been quiet all day, which is completely fine, I get that. Sometimes everyone is a bit too much to handle, but Wei Wuxian insists on family bonding, whatever the fuck that me-”
And he just would not stop talking, he’d been talking for so long, all day, when would he stop. “Just leave me alone. You keep speaking to me as if I’ve shown any indication that I wish to continue this conversation. You’re quick to call Wei Wuxian a chatterbox and an annoyance, yet have you ever looked inward?!” When he was met with a stunned silence, he realised something was incredibly wrong.
Oh. Oh no. He had said that out loud, hadn’t he? Well, he couldn’t take it back now, and he had wanted to be left alone. It wasn’t his fault Jiang Wanyin wasn’t taking the hint. Xichen did feel a little bad, when he saw the hurt expression on lJiang Cheng’s face, that abruptly was wiped from his face, only to be replaced by a blank face.
“Apologies, Zewu-jun. I appear to have overstepped.” He stood and gave the other a stiff bow, before leaving the room, not looking or speaking to anyone, feeling thoroughly embarrassed.
Wei Wuxian stood awkwardly after his brother had left the room, wanting to follow him out, but knowing that the other probably wanted to be alone right now. He also knew that he shouldn’t be the one going to ensure he was okay, “Xichen-ge…”
“I am aware, no need to scold me.” Lan Xichen’s voice was terse, knowing that everyone in the room was staring at him in shock, possibly all wanting to scold him for his behaviour.
“Jiujiu was only trying to make sure that you were okay. Talking helps sometimes, you know. He rarely reaches out to people like that, but he did to you.” Everyone here knew his uncle’s temper, just as well as they knew how much he cared, if anyone here didn’t know that, then they shouldn’t be here. They didn’t belong here.
Lan Sizhui put a comforting hand on his friend’s shoulder, “Jin Ling, should you be saying this here?” He knew that Jin Ling was cross with Zewu-jun, but he didn’t want the other saying anything that he may regret later on.
“It’s nothing everyone here doesn’t already know about him.” He scoffed out, his voice dripping with disdain towards Sect Leader Lan. How dare he take his uncle’s kindness for granted.
Xichen tuned out the remainder of the conversation, thinking about the mess he had put himself in. It wasn’t that he disliked Jiang Wanyin, quite the opposite actually, and yet here he was near yelling at him in front all of their friends and family. He wasn’t sure how long he’d been stuck in his thoughts before he realised that he was being spoken to by Jin Rulan again.
“Well? Are you just going to sit here and wallow in your stupid misery, or are you going to go apologise?” There was a fiercely protective look in the younger’s eyes, showing that he’d physically fight the other, even if it meant losing, for his uncle’s honour.
“Jin Ling!” Wei Wuxian sent a sharp look to the younger, inwardly cursing that Jin Ling seemed to have inherited his mother’s fierce protective nature. He felt the same, but he also had the sense of knowing that saying everything you felt could backfire on you within seconds.
“Don’t get mad at me for being mad at him! He was being an assh-” the rest of whatever he was going to say being smothered by Lan Jingyi’s hand, which was conveniently blocking any other derogatory words that Jin Ling may want to speak.
“Alright, alright, young mistress, it’s okay. Let’s calm down now. He’ll go apologise now.” Lan Jingyi gave his sect leader a pointed look, as if telling him that if he didn’t leave to go find Sect Leader Jiang right now, then he would release his friend and let him unleash his full anger at him.
With a stiff nod, Lan Xichen left towards the direction Jiang Wanyin had stalked off to. He found the other leaning on a tree, staring up at the sky, seemingly lost in thought. He slowly approached the other, contemplating how to best bring attention to himself.
“I-” He jumped slightly, when he was cut off, not realising that Jiang Cheng had even noticed him approaching.
“Save it. No need to apologise, I know you were bullied out here.” His voice blunt and to the point, void of any emotion, as if he were trying to protect himself.
Xichen was stunned silent, not knowing how to respond to that. He had been told to come apologise, so it wasn’t as if he could refute that. “Oh.”
Jiang Cheng sighed and shook his head. He had guessed that his nephew and brother had made the other come out here and apologise, but he was hoping that Lan Xichen had wanted to come out on his own accord. Evidently not. And why should he? It’s not as if Jiang Cheng was someone that was important to Lan Xichen. All he’d done was annoy him today.
Lan Xichen walked closer to the other, offering him an apologetic look, “whatever you’re thinking, you’re wrong.”
“I find that hard to believe.” How could he be wrong, when all signs pointed to his conclusions? He’d been annoying, when he hadn’t intended to be. He’d been compared to Wei Wuxian of all people.
“I’m sorry.”
And for what it was worth, he did sound very apologetic, but Jiang Cheng didn’t seem to believe it. “I said save it.”
“You did. However, I do genuinely mean it.” Xichen looked at the other, focusing on how the other was mindlessly fidgeting with Zidian. I’m making him uncomfortable. “I was told to come out and find you, yes, but I would have apologised on my own. I wouldn’t have left it li-”
“Don’t worry, Sect Leader Lan, I won’t let this hinder our sect relations. I’m not so petty so as to do anything that was affect either of our sects, for a personal matter.” Jiang Cheng cut off Lan Xichen, yet again, seemingly realising why the other had gone out of his way to come out to apologise.
“That’s not-” Lan Xichen was beginning to grow very sick of being cut off midsentence.
“I won’t interfere with any of the trade agreements we have existing already, nor any that we may broker in the future.” Jiang Cheng was rambling now, thinking of anything he could, to ensure Lan Xichen that he didn’t want their sects to fall out with each other. “Oh, we were discussing having our junior disciples have an excha-”
“Would you shut up?” If the other would just stop sprouting out useless information, this conversation could end less painfully than it needs to be, instead Jiang Wanyin seemed to want to draw it out.
Jiang Cheng blinked in shock, his mouth falling open. That was the second time he’d made Lan Xichen burst out in anger like that. Wow, he must really hate me.
“If you would just let me speak! I do not dislike you, nor do I think that this should affect our sects standings with each other.” Xichen’s voice was strained, as he struggled to keep his frustrations with Jiang Wanyin at bay.
Jiang Cheng simply nodded in response, “of course not.”
“You don’t believe me.” Disbelief coating his voice, he stared at the other with narrowed eyes.
“I…” he struggled to find a way to word this, without being insulting or rude, “I believe that you do not wish this to affect our sect standings. Nor do I.”
“But you believe that I dislike you.” He put it bluntly, not enjoying the circles they were seeming to go in this conversation.
With a shrug, he nodded. There wasn’t much else he could say on it, it’s not as if he could make his own beliefs go away with the snap of a finger.
“And nothing I say could convince you otherwise?” Xichen was close to losing it at the other again, not knowing how to change the direction of this conversation. “Not even our past relationship with each other, prior to this evening?”
“Sect Leader Lan is a kind man. He gives chances to those who do not deserve them. I simply overstepped my boundaries tonight.” Jiang Cheng was looking up at the moon, his voice void of any emotion as he spoke.
With a sigh, Lan Xichen moved to stand in front of the other, needing to capture his attention somehow. “And sometimes he simply has bad days, that have nothing to do with those around him.” He said it lightly, but his face showed that he was being serious. It really had been a bad day that had come an unfortunate end.
“But I didn’t help.”
“No, you didn’t. But I should have verbalised that, instead of ignored you.” Thinking about it for a moment, he added on something else, “which is why you kept speaking to me. Other times your company and conversation has kept me from my bad days, it was only safe for you to believe that it would be okay today. It wasn’t your fault.”
“Hmm.” He only hummed in response, as if he didn’t want to accept that he played no fault in the situation.
“I don’t know what else I can do to convince you otherwise. I promise you that we are okay. As long as you can forgive me for speaking to you like that.” Right. Apologising was what he’d come out here to do in the first place.
Jiang Cheng narrowed his eyes and looked at the other incredulously, “of course I forgive you, I was being fucking annoying and sticking my nose where it didn’t belong.”
Lan Xichen shook his head almost immediately, “I’d argue out of everyone we’ve been with today, it is  a place where you are welcome to stick your nose into. I should have communicated that I wanted silence, it wasn’t your fault.”
When Jiang Cheng didn’t respond, Xichen sighed and nodded, “fine, I can see that this will take some time to move past. But can we do that? Forget about tonight, learn to better communicate with each other? A relationship wouldn’t be possible otherwise.” He quickly turned away from the other, choosing to stare up at the sky, instead of seeing the disbelief on Jiang Cheng’s face at what he had just said. He had more or less confessed his feelings.
Jiang Cheng’s eyes widened in shock as he processed what he had just heard, his cheeks beginning to burn at the implications. He coughed into his fist, “uh, yes. We can do that.”

Sex story: What would you do to her?
Tumblr media
One of our friend who recently married overseas so we showed her picture to a white man on what he fantasizes about her. This story is written in his perspective.
A couple showed me a photo of a girl they know in her wedding gown and asked me what I would do to her... we came up with something and I eventually wrote this story from it:
She woke up in her hotel room all dressed up in her white gown. She had napped off after an exhausting morning, getting dressed and make up applied by her bride maids and the artist. They had left to help prepare the venue a while ago and told her to rest a while and play with her phone until they return to get her, but she had fallen asleep after a few minutes. She was still a bit dizzy, but pretty sure she woke up because someone was knocking at her door. A bit unsteady on her feet she walked over and opened the door...
He walked down the hallway of the hotel to return to his room, when a door just in front of him opened. A room service cart blocked most of the way, it seemed that the opposite room being cleaned right now. Someone came out of the first door and looked down the hallway, then slowly turned towards him.
When she opened the door she saw the cart of the cleaning person. Probably they knocked her door and when she didn't respond had started with the opposite room instead. No one else was to be seen anywhere down the hall, good, she still had some time to wake up and get ready for later then. She turned around and jumped in surprise, a man suddenly stood behind her between the cart and the and her. A bit dreamy she thought that he was quite handsome in his white business shirt and navy blue pants. Wouldn't mind if he was here to get into her room with her. But no, she shouldn't have such thoughts about guys already, she was about to get married today. Just that she was a bit deprived for weeks now. Her fiancé had this idea to stop having sex for a few weeks before they get married, so they could enjoy their wedding night more. She was so horny for days now and she wasn't even that kind of girl. Usually she was very innocent and reserved. So why would she want this guy in her room right now? Where did that thought even come from... "May I?" "W What?" Omg, it is happening??? "May I go past, I want to get to my room" Ohh. A bit disappointed but also relieved she realized that she was just blocking the narrow passage next to the cleaning cart with her dress and stupid face. She was still a bit drowsy from her nap. "S..sorry" When she still didn't move, the guy carefully put her hands on her side and gently pushed her into her doorway. Surprised by the unexpected touch she backed up, hit the door with her back and dropped her phone. Didn't even remember she was holding it in her hand. The guy got down and picked it up for her.
She was beautiful, as she stood there all dreamy in her dress, a bit lost. She seemed sleepy and he wondered if she had just woken up a few seconds ago. When he touched her hips in the soft silky white dress he could feel her warm skin underneath. Hmm. Wonder if she is so innocent as she looks.. He held up her phone in front of her and she closed her soft fingers around it and his own. "You look a bit dizzy, are you alright?"
The gentleness in the question surprised her. The light from her room now fell on his face and she thought, he really is handsome.. for a white guy... Her parents were very traditional, but because there where not a lot of Koreans in Singapore, they had eventually agreed for her to marry a Chinese Singaporean instead. She had only ever been with her one boyfriend, now her fiancé, since JC, but she always wondered how it felt to be with someone else. This white mans eyes were so pretty, she couldn't really tell were they green or brown or something in between? She realized she was holding on to his hand and her phone at the same time and blushed in embarrassment.
She was obviously in a bit of a daze just looking at him stunned. He thought this could be a chance, it was worth the a try. He pushed a bit closer, pretending to get through, but actually slowly pushed her into her room. She was still holding on to his left hand, while he gently put his right on her waist. She was leaning at the door now and when she felt him her eyes widened a little.
Omg what is he doing, is this really happening? She should resist and shove him away and close the door. But he was kind of halfway through her doorway already and his hand in hers and the touch on her waist made her forget all caution. What would happen next? Oh what was she doing! She shook her head and wanted to get out, but he now let go of her hand and was instead resting it on her shoulder. That was her naked shoulder, because her gown was a shoulder-less open dress. Oh it felt kinda good to be touched by a stranger like this, but also kind of scary. His other hand slowly moved up her waist and took her breath away. Or was it her tight gown? She couldn't think straight and she was getting very hot and dizzy from this situation.
She smelled amazing, a mixture of perfume and sleepiness.. he pushed closer and his cheeks touched hers while he pressed his body against hers. She was not resisting yet, but she didn't say a word. She was probably a bit in shock by his approach. Good, that would make it so much easier. He moved his hand further up and cupped her breast with it. She had small tits like most Asian girls here. He liked that, it made them look more innocent. Before she could resist this forward movement of him he silenced her by pressing his lips onto hers. "Mhhhhnn" She resisted a little. This was really too much now. What was he doing! She was in her wedding dress, he cannot see?? But those lips were so hot and soft. She opened her mouth a little to them. He pushed his tongue inside. Oh she hadn't felt that for a long time now. She had never done a lot of french kissing with her fiancé. She felt his grip tighten on her arm and breast. She fumbled for the door to hold on to something but only got hold of the do not disturb sign.. When he realized she was holding it, he gently but firmly took it from her hand. He moved her further into her room and past her door. He put the sign on the door knob outside and gave the door a soft kick, while continuing to kiss and touch her. The door fell shut. She was alone with a stranger in her room on her wedding day.
He had done it, the door was closed and the room service staff would not disturb them now. But he had to move quickly, no one could tell when her friends or even the groom would come to her room? Her dress was like an armor, hard to work through. It had a little lace and some ribbons on it, kind of cute he thought. She must be the girly type, but she was also very pretty. "Are you chinese?" "K..er.. Korean" was all she could get out. She swallowed. He wondered if she was wearing underwear below. He lifted her dress up below until he felt her thin legs, the skin was soft and smooth. He moved his hands up underneath her dress until he could feel her panties. Sadly. She gave out a little gasp when he touched it. He shushed her pressing his finger on her lips, then moved his hand to her inner thighs and up until he could feel the little bulge of her pussy under a thin layer of fabric. It was the cute kind, no lace, but that made it even hotter.
She gave out a little shriek when his fingers touched her pussy and pushed onto it outside her underwear, but her sound was muffled by his hand quickly pressing onto her mouth. She was panicking a little now. The drowsiness was gone, but she was flustered now and felt a bit helpless. She had let this good looking handsome man into her room and was alone with him now. The reality came to her now. He started rubbing her panties and she felt a bit uncomfortable, but also was getting a bit wet from it. It was so confusing.
He had to get the most out of her quickly, there was not much time and he was still standing halfway in the doorway with her. He moved her backwards to the bed slowly with one hand between her legs and the other firmly holding her neck, while kissing her and pushing his tongue in and out. The little slut responded with her own tongue. She didn't know what was happening to her. He loved it when girls were all flustered and confused by a bit of dominance. He could feel her get wet and her juices leaked through her panties already. He pulled down the panties a bit, she struggled to resist, but he grabbed her arm firmly, pulling her underwear down with the other hand. Her legs were caught now and she couldn't walk properly so she stumbled a bit. He gently shoved her backwards and loosing her balance she plopped onto the soft hotel bed with a tiny squeal of surprise. Better to get in there before she changed her mind about it now. She would be shouting for help.
She was lying on her back, with her skirt folded up halfway and her panties at her knees. This was not what she had expected of today. A stranger had mad her all wet and forced her into this damn situation and now she lay here with her panties at her knees, exposed. She was so embarrassed, she had never felt so embarrassed before in her life. She couldn't breath and tears came to her eyes and her throat was all tight. It had felt so good when he had shoved his tongue into her mouth, had grabbed her breasts and squeezed them, had felt her up her thighs. Her fiancé hadn't done something so sexy to her in a long time, but now this guy, she didn't even know, was taking her as if she was his. And she felt like she belonged, but at the same time was so scared of it.
She looked a bit concerned and he could see her eyes tearing, she was clearly a bit scared now, so he had to get in there fast. He pulled down and removed her panties entirely. Like he thought, the cute kind. Korean design, with pink hearts. His gaze snapped up to what he had exposed. She had a little bit of hair there, not too thick, but natural. He liked that about Asian girls, they apparently thought it is bad luck to shave their pussies or something. It looked so tasty. He covered her mouth with one hand and pushed the other onto her vagina. It was still wet and the soft black hair covering it felt smooth. He was so hard now.
She could feel his erection pressing into her thigh while he pushed his hand onto her wet hairy pink and split her open slightly, moving one finger up and down her slit. Omg she was all wet. She practically invited his finger in. If his finger already felt so good, how would that thing in his pants.. no She couldn't think of it even. She had to get out of this now. "Mhhghhhnn" she mumbled into his hand. "What was that?" "Mhet me mgmooh", she almost lost her breath again. He pushed his finger deeper into her slit. "Do you mean it?" She also wasn't sure.. "Mhmmetmegooh", she shrieked a little and struggled a bit trying to use her hands to shove him away now. He removed his hand from her pussy and grabbed her hands at the same time. So strong, it hurt a little. He looked around for something to tie them together and found her veil and some kind of scarf. He sat on her legs and quickly shoved one of them into her mouth under some protest, but she couldn't really resist. Her eyes wide he grabbed her arms tighter and tied them up with the scarf. "I am not gonna hurt you if you don't resist". She has sweating now. She tried to shout something but it was all muffled by her veil stuffed into her mouth. God it hurt and took her breath. He went down between her legs. She could feel his hands and arms pushing her legs apart and lifting her hips slightly off the mattress. He pushed his tongue into her and split her wet pussy lips. Oh god that felt good. She tried to breathe through her mouth but couldn't, she panicked and sniffled instead. She went dizzy. He stopped licking her pussy. "You cant breath? Let me help you with that." He removed her gag and she breathed in. She felt weak and exhausted, but her vagina was still twitching in excitement. She just lay there resting on her ellbows. He sat on her now and she could see that big bulge in his pants. He picked up her gaze.. "Do you like that? Do you want to suck it?" Before she could reply or even grasp the question, he opened his pants and pulled them down a few inches, together with his underwear. His thick big erected cock plopped out of the fabric and right into her sight. She was quite taken aback by the size. Her fiancé was not as big as this. But it looked so tasty, the red mushroom tip glistening with moisture, and she could feel her own become wet again between her legs. He didn't hesitate and shoved it into her face. She tried to avoid it and his cock smeared some wetness onto her cheeks. Omg this is gonna ruin all the makeup and people will totally know! She had no choice now because he pushed it towards her again and she opened her mouth a little, hesitating still, but he went for it and pushed it in. She gagged again, now by a meaty thick cock in her mouth. She felt so slutty now, but she liked it. She liked being gagged by this thick meat, that was much better than the dry fabric in her mouth. Why did she like it so much, she was a decent girl? She was between his knees now, but she felt the cold air from the hotel AC brushing against her wet pussy. He shoved his dick deeper into her mouth. And deeper. She gagged again, grasping for air. She felt like she would suffocate, but she didn't have the strength to resist anymore.
Her eyes widened while he shoved his cock deeper into her throat. Her mouth was so small, but she was salivating and it slit in deeper. She was breathing hard through her nose, but he could see her head get red and her eyes became suddenly hazy.. She closed them and soon she stopped sucking.. She seemed to have lost it he thought and pulled out. He turned around and looked at her limb unconscious body. She stirred a bit. Her vagina lay exposed before him. She was slowly coming back, so he had to do it now. He got between her legs and slowly pushed his cock, wet from her saliva inside her pussy. She jerked awake from a sharp pain between her legs! In panic, she realized where she was and what was happening to her. She felt her wedding gown on her, she felt her tied hands behind her, she.. "Aohhhh" she moaned loudly, when the man on top of her - she still didn't know who he was - thrusted his hard erection into her again. She almost split open. His cock was so big for a small Korean girl like her. She let out another moan, too loud maybe because he shoved his fingers into her mouth to quiet her down. She sucked on them. He pushed again and she bit down on his fingers from the shock. That bitch. His fingers hurt like hell but he didn't stop or pull out. He just pushed into her harder. She let go of her finger and moaned, softer now, then started sucking again as he fucked her more rhythmically now. That's better. He was breaking her. She wanted it now. She struggled until now off and on, couldn't decide but now she wanted to just let it happen.
It felt so good, to be fucked by this total stranger. She didn't want to resist any longer. It was already done now. Her tight vagina was stretched and she couldn't imagine to ever take a cock as small as her husbands again and enjoy it this same way. It felt like heaven. She wanted to touch her breast while he fucked her harder and harder, but she realized again that she was still tied up. Awkward.. but she kind of liked it. This whole experience. Was she mad? She actually liked being raped? By a total stranger? In her wedding dress? It almost made her climax. The thought of it, while his dick was inside of her. She wanted to cum, she wanted him to cum.. Omg. she realized in that moment that he was fucking her raw, without a condom, he would cum into her, plant his seeds into her. She felt sick suddenly. She was off birth control, usually her fiancé was using condoms. She struggled and managed to crawl away from the stranger, with her arms still tied. His cock slipped out of her and spew a bit of liquid on her legs. Omg, was that precum or just her wet juices? She tried to turn around and managed to get on her belly, but then he was onto her again. "Oh you want it from behind? I didn't take you for such a slut.." She was not! But she could feel his cock pushing between her butt cheeks the same second. Oh please don't let him push it in my ass. She squeezed her cheeks together and let his cock slip back into her vagina, which had secretly longed for it to fill her out again. He pulled her on her knees and fucked her from behind, her little bush brushing against his bare balls. This was better, he could take her so hard now, hold on to her hips and thrust into her. If she were to scream he could shove her face into the big hotel pillows. Hmm that kind of felt hot. "mhhhaaah" she moaned, getting there from his rod slipping in and out of her between her legs, as the full length went in again and again. He felt his cum building up in his hard balls now, and he could feel she was close to orgasm as well. "Now you like it you slut don't you? I'm gonna make you cum and then come with you." "Oh please don't cum inside me, please!" She was still scared, but at the same time her body just gave itself to the fucking now. She loved being on her knees in this humiliating pose like a dog. Oh she was so dirty, she was such a whore. She fucked her pussy away at her wedding day. She tripped, twitched and shook hard. "Oh yes you slut, you like it, you want it" "Oaaahhhhh" she couldn't stop moaning into the pillow in which he pressed her now, so she would not be so loud and attract attention. "Oh yes, you want my cum, you want my hot sticky juice all up your pussy" he pushed into her harder and she started coming again harder this time.
He was there all the way. This little innocent girl shaking in orgasms on her knees, with her wedding dress flipped up exposing her naked ass and her pussy all spewing wetness on his balls and legs. He released his and came into her hard. He unloaded all his hot sperm inside her obedient slit, pushing hard with every thrust until the white cream came out on the side and gathered at her labia. Omg she thought in her head, still shaking from the exhaustion and repeated orgasm, he came inside her and left his juice all up her pussy. She was sure she could never look at herself in the mirror again from now on. She just hoped she would not get pregnant, but they said it was not so likely. It would probably gonna take a few rapes to get there.. Omg what was she thinking, she was still delirious for sure.. She heard the door open and close and turned around and saw she was alone now. Her hands were still tied up, and she started gnawing on the knot to get it open. She barely realized how cum was dripping from in between her legs, while she sat up and freed her hands, then she touched herself, her stretched and raw pussy and wiped away the sticky goo. She looked at it sticking on her fingers with some disgust but also some thrill. She had been creampied by this stranger.. and she was kinda hungry now. Realizing how late it was she jumped out of bed and pulled down her dress and looked in the mirror. Luckily it wasn't damaged or dirty although she could feel some cum dripping down her legs. It would have to do. A knock on the door and one of her brides maids pushed inside. She had a spare room key.
"Omg what happened to you, you look a bit fucked up" "Oh nothing I just fell asleep" "You messed up your hair you dumb bitch, here let me help you" "Sorry, I know, how much time do we have" "You have to go already, they are almost ready for the ceremony, where is your veil" She glanced at the side of the bed where her crumpled up veil was lying on the floor. It was ruined. "Forget about it, I didn't really like it"... she thought back to that big throbbing cock in her mouth.. that was so much better.. she chuckled inside at the thought of it. "Okay lets go, its gonna be great, don't worry! You will not forget this day ever!"... She was pretty sure she wouldn't.

Street Dance of China S4 Ep 3
(I’m having problems with Tumblr not saving my posts...)
- Oh no people are going to start getting eliminated! :o Well, I’m still really glad that we had two whole episodes of people just dancing and having fun and getting the opportunity to showcase who they are and how they dance.
- This question just occurred to me, but where do people look when they watch dance performances? As I watched the Go Go Brothers, I was thinking to myself, “Where do I look? If I look at one of them, I might miss what the other Brother is doing!” Just my musings lol.
- I am super shallow but people tripping makes me laugh, so yes, Nelson accidentally tripping did make me chuckle. (+ Rochka’s reaction)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
- Yibo and Yixing discussing the SDOC theme song. It made me laugh because the lyrics are kind of hype but Yibo and Yixing aren’t exactly the most facially expressive people lol.
Tumblr media
- After every performance Henry’d be like “let’s collaborate!!!!!!” Han Geng finally stepped in being like aight Henry you gotta take it easy on the recruitment because we’ve literally only seen three performances. I’m still not really sure of the format of the show from now on, so I’m not sure if they form new teams afterwards.
- Yixing was so guilty about not giving Bouboo a vote.
Tumblr media
- Rochka’s shock @ Boubou not getting four votes.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
- He’s ashamed.
Tumblr media
- I think if a dancer gets less than 4 votes, then other dancers are allowed to challenge them for a spot to advance, but whoever loses is eliminated out of the tournament, so you have to be super confident to challenge. And if a dancer only gets 1 or 2 votes, they are eliminated.
- Yibo asked Rochka why he wouldn’t challenge Bouboo and Rochka said he’d never go against his teacher/big brother v.v They exchanged hearts but then Rochka pretended to throw the heart away and crush it lol.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
- While I was expecting a bit more from Bouboo, I don’t think his challenger JC Jun was better than him. JC Jun was kind of wobbly, and I think his dance didn’t match the music as well as Bouboo’s did.
- Yixing had his head down when he voted for Ibuki too, so I think he just gets nervous about voting.
Tumblr media
- Henry wanted to say that Ibuki was like lightning but he said the word for a flashing light/disco light and Han Geng wanted to give him shit for it.
Tumblr media
- Yixing said that he thought AC’s waacking almost felt like krump.Yixing said that if he was to collaborate with AC, AC should do the arm swing, and Yixing would do the waacking lol. I am all for seeing Yixing doing more dance styles! Not gonna lie, I think he’d look cute doing waacking.
- Ye Yin’s performance was really nice! The music was unique and the way he danced, with the tap dance and folk-like elements really suited it.
- Rochka said he wants to know Ye Yin more and said they also have the same smile.
Tumblr media
- Xiao Jie said he’d never battle Ye Yin but he got peer pressured by the captains into freestyling to Ye Yin’s self-produced song lol.
Tumblr media
- To show face, you know? The entire time he was like “but this doesn’t count, okay?!!!!” since he wasn’t actually challenging Ye Yin, and it was just for funsies.
Tumblr media
- The judges were a bit troubled by Xiaoming’s performance because at the end, he was supposed to fall but his fall wasn’t coordinated with the sound effect in the music. Xiaoming was like yeah, it’s pretty difficult but I’m hoping that my challenger wouldn’t be able to get it too and Yixing was laughing his goose laugh. But Xiaoming was eliminated with zero votes in the end.
Tumblr media
- Kelo and Uwa had a horror mental hospital-themed dance which was interesting. Kelo said it was based on a nightmare he had as a child.
Tumblr media
- Yang Kai wasn’t impressed though. He said he’d performed something similar with Liangliang before. He felt that Kelo and Uwa were performing but not really dancing. I can see where he’s coming from. Kelo and Uwa got three votes.
- Xiaohai ended up challenging them. He used the wheelchair too but like...somehow his expression just makes us unable to not laugh.
Tumblr media
- I think he did really well considering he’d only heard the music once. And he returned to the wheelchair at the end of the performance lmfao
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
- Apparently when Xiaohai was looking up at the beginning, he was asking Li Yulong (who I assume is the person in charge of the music) for music cues but Li Yulong just laughed at him lol.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
- Yibo basically said that Kelo and Uwa’s performance felt a bit abrupt in the story telling side, and that there weren’t really highs and lows to their performance.
- Rochka was talking crap about Bouboo behind his back and Yibo tattled which resulted in Rochka getting whacked in the face.
Tumblr media
- Zyko taught Yibo and Rochka how to do his fancy leg moves.
Tumblr media
- Yixing talking krump with Auju. Auju was like you’re really good for someone who’s only been learning for a year, but then Yixing was like, I practise 6 hours a day and Auju was like ?!?!
Tumblr media
- Zyko + Henry (with Henry’s infamous “getting down while playing violin” move)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
- Poppin’C introduced himself, saying he was from Italy and Switzerland, and Yibo and Yixing were thinking of all the things from Italy they knew. Yibo was like “...Valentino Rossi...” and Yixing was like “....pizza.....” These two spacey twinks istg.
- Anyway, Poppin’C’s performance was nice. Not only were his moves clean and impressive, but he also expressed the lyrics through his dance.
Tumblr media
- Rochka fanboying over Poppin’C’s dance :P At one point, the lyrics were about hearts, and Poppin’C did some moves where he made a heart and Rochka here is saying how cute it was.
Tumblr media
- Poppin’C said he missed his daughter and everybody’s like ?? a baby??? :3 :3 :3
Tumblr media
- Also, I saw Uwa in the audience, so I think that the eliminated contestants get to continue watching.
- Poppin’C said that before, he was more fierce, but now that he has a daughter, he’s a little smoother and sweeter :3 Also he was describing that the singer’s voice in the song made his skin feel like chicken and everybody was like ??? Luckily Yixing saved the day lol. In Chinese, goose bumps are called “chicken pimples” or something like that.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
- Bozi was next. In his introduction, Bozi said he was from Guangzhou, and maybe that’s why it sounded like so many people in the audience were pronouncing 波子 in Cantonese.
- Eleven said something very interesting about B-boys. He said that in their profession of dance, they don’t fear b-boys who can do tricks, but they fear b-boys who can listen to music. I think it’s a reference to the fact that b-boys are often doing their own thing and disregard the music, which makes sense. Sometimes b-boys are closer to gymnasts because they are so focused on the spins and other really athletic moves they do. But because their moves are so difficult, they sometimes don’t move to the music which is supposed to be the point of dancing.
- Bozi passed with 4 votes. And he did a bit of krump at the beginning, which Yixing admitted he fell for haha. Bozi said that Eleven helped him choreograph that part, so it’s Eleven who knows Yixing well >3
- The director asked Bozi who he thought his biggest b-boy rival on the show was. Of course, we all thought he was going to say Lil Kev, but he ended up saying Xiaoji and Xiaoji was like ?? me?? Bozi’s reasoning was that he’s more troubled by dancers with a different style from him because he doesn’t know how to beat them. From the small clips they showed, I think Xiaoji has a more animated style, whereas Bozi is more serious and reserved.
Tumblr media
- Acky-san cheering on MT Pop lol. (”Embarrassing dad at baseball game” mode activate)
Tumblr media
- MT Pop has really impressed me in the competition so far though. The way he moves is so cool and creative. I think he purposely goes for a kind of...monster vibe? Like he often has this creepy smile on his face lol. He’s not only dancing, but he’s using popping techniques to change how he moves entirely, including simple things like walking or how he turns his head. I think MT Pop is my favourite contestant.
Tumblr media
- He said the monster from Pan’s Labrynth inspired this dance. So I guess I was kind of right that he does draw inspiration from monsters and other creatures.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
- Low key mad at Han Geng for not giving MT Pop his vote lol. Geng-ge said he wanted to give someone a chance to challenge. Of all people, why MT Pop?? I don’t want him to goooo.
- Henry wanted to try doing the voiceover for the challenger and Han Geng indulged his overdramatic ass.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
- Baby Dolphin challenged. He had some cool moves at the beginning, but I think he fell apart a bit towards the end, based on the judges’ reactions (as we didn’t see the full performance). Plus, I think MT Pop’s approach to dancing is just too unique and interesting to eliminate at this point.
Tumblr media
- Kabamba had an interesting performance that had African and Latin influences, with big and energetic movements. Tianci challenged but he went with a general hip hop approach which did not suit the music at all. (I looked up Kabamba. Her name is Latrice Kabamba, but she also goes by 林珊娜 on her social media, which is why she’s sometimes called Nana on the show).
Tumblr media
- Acky-san was repeating everything that people were saying around him. Stuff like jiayou!! and other words of encouragement. Dianmen who was sitting next to him was just lol’ing.
Tumblr media
- Ma Xiaolong was performing to a song called 棋 and this word usually refers to any kind of board game. Ma Xiaolong’s first moves looked like he was putting pieces on a board and you just know that kind of stuff draws Yixing’s attention right away.
Tumblr media
- I think Kenken’s style of dance is the kind of dance that the general public would really enjoy. Whereas some kinds of dance don’t really appeal to people who aren’t into dance, I think Kenken’s kind of dance will attract both the dance-conscious people as well as those who aren’t. I definitely got that vibe from him in the dance that he choreographed, and also his individual performance.
- Not even gonna question this. Perfection. Rochka catboy here we go.
Tumblr media
- Okay, I agree with Colin’s performance not making the cut. Based on his introduction, he was supposed to be a popping expert, but his dance didn’t showcase that. His dance was more of a contemporary dance piece, but while we’ve had performances similar to that, his choreography didn’t stand out in comparison. After his performance he had a bit of a cry. Yixing mentioned that it was hard to judge because of the emotional aspect. But admittedly, this emotional stuff is usually the reason why I don’t like competition shows. It was revealed that Colin had lost his grandfather. Now, I’m going to sound cold, but I don’t like it when sob stories are brought in, because it makes us feel bad when we don’t like a piece of art that comes from very pure intentions. Yixing’s reasoning for not giving a vote was that he felt that the emotions overshadowed the dance, which is a problem because this is a show about dance. Han Geng’s reasoning was that he felt that the skill level could have been better. Yibo was quite moved by the performance, and I think that’s why he gave his vote to Colin.
- We got a preview for this week’s hotpot show.
- Yixing and his emotional support giant cup
Tumblr media
- Lots of laughing (including Yixing laughing) which is good for the soul

[Kinktober 2021: Stuck In Wall (18+)]
ChengXian | Mo Dao Zu Shi 27-10-2021
Day 27: G̷r̷o̷o̷m̷i̷n̷g̷ / P̷e̷g̷g̷i̷n̷g̷ / [Stuck In Wall]
Jiang Cheng knew he should not have tried to pass through the hole in the wall, he was now stuck. Wei Wuxian is the only one here to help, but he seems to have something else in mind.
====
Jiang Cheng was mad at himself for trying to take a shortcut by passing through the hole that was present in one of the outer walls of a village near Lotus Pier. He and wwx wanted to see who could get back home first without flying on their swords.
In his memories, that hole was bigger than it seemed to be now, or maybe it was simply because he had now grown up and he was too big for it.
And now he was stuck here, trying to get himself out without any real success. He gave up after a while, trying to at least find a position that wasn't too uncomfortable.
Surely someone would find him. He already felt embarrassed and ashamed at the idea, but surely /someone/ would pass by and would be able to find help for him.
“jc!” he heard called out from above, twisting as best he could to look above him. Although just from the voice he knew who it was, his guess was good when he saw wwx get to the ground and sheathing suibian.
“Are you alright I was getting worried since you weren't there when I reached up and wasn't arriving either" wwx asked, crouching down in front of him. Jc was usually pretty quick in their little game or was behind him from not much. Especially this shortcut.
“I got stuck in the wall" jc replied in a mumble, blushing a little bit when wwx laughed at this. “instead of laughing help me get out" he asked.
Wwx teased him until he realised jc was really stuck there, even as they were trying really hard to get him out of there.  “I'll go get some something to make the hole larger for you" he assured him before leaving him again.
Jc was left again to worry about whether or not someone would stumble onto him like this. Thankfully wwx didn't mess around and came back soon, leaving jc waiting for him to start working.
He was about to ask what wwx was doing when he suddenly felt two hands land on his ass, kneading it, making him yelp. “wwx! What are you doing! You're supposed to help me out, but grope me, what if someone saw us!?”.
This only made wwx laugh a bit, not stopping in his kneading. “we are so far away from everyone no one will come here, come on, you cannot tell me this is not exciting" he said as his hand moved to his front, teasing him a bit.
Jc bit his lips as wwx expertly touched him, looking around. It was deserted and he would lie if he said this was not actually pretty exciting in a way. Especially now that wwx was here with him now.
“Jiang Cheng?” wwx asked from the other side of the wall, a bit worried from the lack of answer jc was giving him. “It is” jc finally replied, swaying his hips a bit.
“just... make sure no one is coming your way alright?” he asked, soon feeling hands back on his ass and patting it a bit as wwx promised him he would keep an ear out for anyone coming their way.
His pants were soon pooled around his ankles, robes pushed aside as best as could be done in this situation. It felt a bit weird. To be half exposed like this, trying to open his legs as best as he could so wwx could have better access.
He was a bit surprised when he felt a breath against his ass, hand spreading him open as wwx got to work, eating him out. “wwx!” he tried to protest. Not that it was unpleasant, but he didn't wash at all?! Yet it did not stop the other cultivator who only went at it even harder, tongue working into his entrances, fingers joining in afterwards to help stretch him out.
The only down of this situation for wwx was that he couldn't clearly hear jc's moans and whimper as well as he usually does, especially if he was trying to keep it down right now.
Wouldn't stop him from enjoying this moment.
“look at you, already all hard and dripping” wwx teased, his hand stroking jc cock, satisfied when this made jc make a bit more sounds. But he had to stop at some point, feeling that jc should be good now and feeling his own erection trapped in his pants.
Jc jumped a bit when he felt wwx cock suddenly rub between his cheek. “Just put it in already,” jc said, trying to kick his leg a bit. He yelped when he received a slap on his ass.
He was about to complain when he instead felt wwx enter him, one deep trust making him fit in to the base, waiting there a bit. The tightness of jc was just as good as ever, making him wonder what kind of expression his shidi was doing right now on the other side.
Jc did try to keep his moan to himself, but soon it was hard to do, especially when wwx was doing everything to make him moan. Seeing how no one was coming did help him in letting go a bit more, and enjoying it.
“Please, please, touch me more” jc whined, hands on the walls as he couldn’t reach back to jerk himself up. He only felt hands stronger on his hips, wwx going even more hard on him. “A-cheng can only come untouched~~” wwx replied, “I know he can do it~”.
And he kept his word, ponding into jc, hitting his sweet spot as much as possible. He was more than satisfied when he made jc come from just his dick, filling him with his cum as he tightened and clenched around him.
He leaned a bit against the wall as he was catching his breath, hand mindlessly caressing his hips to soothe him.
“Can you get me out now” jc asked, “I... I want a kiss” he added. This was enough to really make wwx get back to earth, helping jc put his clothes on again, working on making the hole big enough so he could slide out.
For sure, once he was out, jc got all the kisses and cuddles he wanted.

Have you ever how MDZS would've turned out if either JYL was also a demonic cultivator?
For this to make sense, I would like to say that I’m under the impression that resentful energy suppresses, not heals, wounds so taking it away would open all wounds up.
Now then, because of how this question is formatted, I have three different takes:
If JYL was a demonic cultivator alongside WWX but had her core:
So, in this scenario, JYL might have wanted to help during the war but her core wasn’t strong enough to support her. She saw how helpful WWX’s demonic cultivation was but also how it had hurt him and wanted to take some of the burden off of him.
So WWX tries to refine it for her in a way that won’t harm her core. JYL, of course, notices how different the method WWX taught her was in comparison to what he was doing. She also noticed that WWX did not code any of his notes and had heard the whispers of those jealous of his power. So she made him code his notes into something that only JC, her, and WWX would know how to read. She helps with the war effort and calms WWX when the resentful energy gets too much.
JYL realizes how irritated she is getting and gets LWJ or some Lan to help play for her after every battle she uses resentful energy in. And then she gets confused. Why does WWX not do the same thing? Something must be up. She confronts WWX who avoids the question like there’s no tomorrow. Of course, JYL stares him down for a few days and then WWX finally gives. He tells her to keep it a secret that he has no core and that the resentful energy is the only thing keeping his body together. JYL is extremely protective™, afterwards and keeps her promise to say nothing to anyone.
LWJ’s “come back to gusu” now sounds like a threat whereas before she thought it was worry. She tells LWJ to stop/what his intentions are because she knows that LWJ helped search for WWX desperately for 3 months. LWJ struggles for words and she understands how difficult voicing out your true feelings is as she has dealt with WWX and JC. She waits patiently until LWJ says something along the lines of “I am worried about him” or “I want to protect him.” So JYL asks if that isn’t what WWX wants, will he still continue this. LWJ says a hesitant “no.”
JYL then drags - maybe in a more polite way - LWJ over and says to WWX, “this one wants to protect you,” and LWJ nods, embarrassed. WWX is confused.
The war continues and then ends and while JYL stops demonic cultivation, she understands that WWX can’t and also understands the Seal cannot be destroyed without WWX dying. So when JGS asks about the Seal, with JC’s explicit permission, JYL says that they’ll destroy it but not now. WWX is nervous about that because he needs to protect the Jiang sect. JYL calmly talks him out of it and says he can still use demonic cultivation with her to protect the sect; he’s not alone.
WWX agrees and manages to come up with something (with LWJ’s help) to destroy the seal, which he does, later, in public. Afterwards, the Wen thing happens but WWX decides to talk it out with JYL who decides that the better course of action is to talk to a drunken Jin Zixun and find out the location of the Wen Remnants. After which, JYL tells WWX to go at night with LWJ to free the Wens and take them to a secure location in Yunmeng. WWX is skeptical about letting LWJ come along but JYL says “you need someone you trust to help you get there faster, right?” So WWX reluctantly agrees and LWJ nods along and helps WWX to get to Qiongqi Path and leads the Wens away secretly to the safehouse that JYL pointed out. After the banquet, JYL helps get clothes so that the Wens aren’t recognized and slowly integrates them into the town nearby.
Afterwards, JYL pushes WWX together with LWJ after several long painful months of them skirting around each other before focusing on her own relationship where Jin Zixuan is trying his damn hardest to court her. JGS is still a creep and a power-hungry bastard though and Jin Guangyao still wants to please his father. JYL is not stupid and while she is distracted by how cute Jin Zixuan is, she can recognize the greed at which JGS stares at her. She doesn’t do anything though, even if JGS has been subtly (not so subtly) implying to share demonic cultivation techniques. There isn’t much she could do until a strange attack leaves JGS near-death. JYL had nothing to do with it, of course. Nothing at all. JGS had stolen some of her A’ Xian’s talismans that attracted evil, so he only had himself to blame. No one saw those talismans though since they had burned to a crisp, so all’s well that ends well!
If JYL lost her core and became a demonic cultivator with WWX:
In this scenario, JYL lost her core because WZL got her too somehow. WWX would still try to find a way to lessen the effects even if it wouldn’t be too effective. JYL still realizes something’s up and feels herself getting more irritated but when she tells WWX about getting a Lan to lessen the effects, WWX panics and says no! JYL then asks why and WWX will have to tell her because removing the resentful energy will kill them. And then JYL is like “us?” and WWX realized what he just said. So now JYL knows he’s without a core but she also knows that WWX wasn’t caught by WZL like she and JC were and demands answers. Which WWX is veryy, very reluctant to give. But he does so anyway.
JYL hugs her brother and says that they’ll figure something out. WWX cries too and nods. LWJ still tries to help WWX but JYL, under the same ill effects of resentful energy, finds it more difficult to find the worry in LWJ’s words. But nevertheless asks him what his deal is. LWJ is unable to formate words and JYL’s temper is cut short so she yells “you’re planning on punishing my brother, right?” because she remembers Gusu Lan rules as well. LWJ is like, “no.” But he finds it difficult to speak and says, “not punishment”. JYL feels how the resentful energy is getting to her but tries to calm down. LWJ wants to help WWX and JYL very calmly says, “if you try to purify the resentful energy, you’ll kill us, understand?” LWJ then panics because he did not know that, sees WWX, apologizes and says he’d like to help.
WWX is very stubborn about not needing help but JYL is not and accepts on their behalf because they do need the help. The war continues and both JYL and WWX try to help as much as they can but the resentful energy is bad and even worse for WWX who’s using the Seal. Luckily, the war ends.
But both JYL and WWX are in horrible shape and JC is very worried and very mad (at WWX, for teaching her, and at JYL, for pushing herself). LWJ manages to use his music in a way that doesn’t harm them, though, so they’re both fine but JGS is still a horrible person who wants JYL to marry Jin Zixuan and well, JYL is a woman. She has to get married. But she can see the greed in JGS’s eyes and decides that no matter how much she likes Jin Zixuan, it wouldn’t be good to go to the Jins. Not until JGS is dead, of course.
Normally, she wouldn’t be so prone to murder but resentful energy does wonders in that regard. She gets rid of JGS in a way that wouldn’t make any blame fall onto her or WWX. With the threat out of the way, she allows a relationship with Jin Zixuan and helps WWX get together with LWJ. The Seal still gets destroyed somewhere along the line.
If JYL was the only demonic cultivator:
In this scenario, JYL found out about the golden core transfer and offered hers instead because WWX is an asset and it wouldn’t make a difference if she had no core or not. She’s thrown into Burial Mounds but survives because of her love for siblings or something like that. Also, because WWX always told her of his crazy idea which included the resentful energy manipulation. WWX would still try to help lessen the effects but not much can be done unless he goes on the path too, which he does because he’s not letting his sister do this alone. It’s more difficult for him though cause he has to be wary of not corrupting his core which he is able to do with help from LWJ.
JYL cannot handle the resentful energy very well and it shows. WWX tries to help but it doesn’t go very well. He still creates the Seal which lessens the burden on JYL’s shoulders but still doesn’t lessen the effect of resentful energy on her. At the end of the war, she’s at the end of her line and she’s very close to death. LWJ offers purification to help and WWX refuses. He understands her situation and it will kill her to remove the resentful energy. JC blames WWX for JYL’s condition and WWX is so guilty, he throws himself into finding a solution, uncaring of his health. He’s eventually able to refine demonic cultivation to a manageable point and JYL wakes up not long later. He gives her his notes and she follows the instructions, finding herself not to be so irritable anymore.
Despite all this, JYL is still a woman and now even more desirable because of demonic cultivation. JGS will do anything to let her come into the family so that he can learn about her cultivation. JYL has a very short temper now though. And Jin Zixuan’s attempts at courting aren’t making her heart skip a beat. Then Wen Qing comes along, but it’s WWX who finds her, so he’s able to get to Koi Tower, trick (read: threaten) Jin Zixun into spilling the location, brings LWJ and NMJ along (because he doesn’t want to offend anyone with how fragile the Jiang sect is) and they free the Wens.
Seal is somehow destroyed, WangXian gets together, but Jin Zixuan and JYL’s relationship takes a loooong while to bud, if at all.

ep21 (pt 1): jyl the mvp!
oh god oh fuck I forgot how emotional the last one ended. jyl pulling wwx inside to get a look at him and everyone's crying 🥺
Tumblr media Tumblr media
😭😭😭
Tumblr media Tumblr media
this is so funny. jc what are you so worried about? your brother hearing that you looked for him for 3 months? which you did? he's so silly and emotionally constipated. that is a totally normal thing to do for your family
Tumblr media
I remember ppl being SO mad at jgy for saying the same thing to nhs in fatal journey before a Mandarin speaker had to step in and be like 'that's actually a normal thing to say to someone grieving, he wasn't being rude or inconsiderate' which. jgy is so gifted with social graces, of COURSE he'd say the appropriate thing at that time
Tumblr media
this is so dramatic lmao. I know how you die old man and it's pretty embarrassing
Tumblr media
ah the dramatic look over the shoulder bc he misses his boy best friend who HE pushed away wwx you mess
Tumblr media
literally shut the fuck up sect leader yao you would be dead and powerless without the protection of the jiang clan you owe your life and your clan to this family be polite
Tumblr media
wwx saying this is very 😮 but it immediately cutting to jc is ALSO 😮 and I don't think its intentional
Tumblr media
oh my sect sect leader ouyang???!!
Tumblr media
ofc the lans get put in rooms that have a name like that
Tumblr media
wwx getting sick of everyone there and just getting up and leaving. politically not great but he lives his truth. I think along with missing lwj he just got sick of the old sect leaders congratulating him for torturing and murdering a man, and then hounding him about his sword
Tumblr media
jc I am so fucking proud of you I could cry
Tumblr media Tumblr media
the kicker is that jc is for once saying the RIGHT thing, compared to his usual sarcasm and aggression and sneers. but wwx is the one in these episodes who's not cooperating. he's being deliberately contrary, vague, and disobedient. he's not playing nice with jc or the other sect leaders. and I can tell why politics is the last thing on his mind given the fact that he just pulled himself out of three months of utter hell and he's still traumatized, but it doesn't help. his defense mechanism of joking and dismissal to cover his severe trauma and his massive secrets doesn't make him look very good either. it's so sad bc it's all he can do though!
also this is a grade A eyeroll from jc here. impressive
Tumblr media Tumblr media
do not break my heart like that wei wuxian
Tumblr media
*cues the observation that wwx is wearing his robes in the way that corpses being prepared for burial are dressed*
it is very annoying when fans create content where wwx is unwilling/unable to meditate when 1. how the fuck do you think he formed his core in the first place and 2. it's clearly an important part of his process as a demonic cultivator as well
Tumblr media
jyl is being so supportive and compassionate about chenqing in a way that literally nobody else is. she compliments it! she compares it to her mother's most powerful tool!
Tumblr media
I think the other translation is 'to give a full account'. I think chenqing's name is really neat, I love reading analysis for it
Tumblr media
kill me. and wwx's face after she says this...
Tumblr media Tumblr media
she's like the only person here who halfway knows how to approach someone with trauma. express your love and support and concern but don't push them. allow them to tell you on their terms, in their own time. don't make it the only thing you talk about. don't make them have to ask not to talk about it. lwj gets a little better at this but it takes like 20 years
Tumblr media Tumblr media
and who else says this!!! who else thanks him!!!! im going to cry
Tumblr media Tumblr media
jc and wwx both take a great deal of comfort and guidance from jyl in these scenes - she's level-headed, compassionate, affectionate, caring, and gives solid advice that her brothers can act on. and she stands up for wwx in ways that jc can't or won't. love her
Tumblr media
literally shut the fuck up jzx I know how you die
Tumblr media Tumblr media
see jc!!! this is what you SHOULD say to those assholes who won't leave you alone and who question your leadership! THAT'S what's called showing a united front!
on the other hand, given how things progress I don't doubt the jins would invent some pretext to attack the jiangs if jc didn't go along with them so it's not like simply saying this would have solved things. but man, this was a good deflection
