a summary of the Monaco Tea, creds to the lovely anon who sent me the article <3

btw most of the information on the family was in article one, the latter were more just info on real estate + off shore accounts

again, this info is all coming from the former accountant of the family:

Prince Rainier III was seriously considering changing succession laws so Caroline would be the head of the family and Monaco as he found Albert to be weak. Albert is said to be the "despised member of the clan" who would stutter while speaking to his father. Rainier even looked into what this would mean to the Grimaldi name since Andrea - at the time 17 - obviously carries his father's name (Casiraghi) and not his mother's (Grimaldi). Rainier told the ones carrying the investigation that this was done in case Albert died.

the funds from Albert's state endowment and his private funds would be mixed all the time.

Albert would say yes to essentially everything his family asked for, including a $30 million apartment for Stephanie

Palmero (the accountant) would frequently buy things for the family to keep "their privacy". He bought Charlene's engagement ring and multiple properties for the Grimaldi's in France. He would pay property taxes for those properties and have the family pay him back.

Caroline and Stephanie would frequently make use of and sell family property (Rainier's cars, family jewelry and art, etc) without letting him know, even though they technically belonged to Albert.

Caroline is in charge of the family's castle in Marchais, which he had an issue with as she would always go off budget.

he makes a note to pay attention to Pierre Casiraghi as he is very ambitious and his dealings in real estate could create problems (spoiler alert: it did)

Caroline is said to hate Charlene

the allowance that Charlene, Caroline and Stephanie receive increases constantly, which worried Palmero. As of late, they were: 1,5 million euros for Charlene, 900.000 for Caroline and 800.000 for Stephanie yearly. This follows the family hierarchy.

 Jazmin Grace receives 86,000 dollars per quarter. In February 2010, Palmero had to spend $5,000 “extra for her birthday”. Albert also bought her a $3 million apartment in New York City.

Albert spends almost a million a year funding Nicole Coste's (the mother of Albert's second illegimate child) fashion business. It's all in Alexandre Coste's name as Nicole fears that Charlene might create issues when Albert dies.

She frequently demands high sums in cash, her personal chef is $300 a day, she has multiple undocumented people from the Philippines working in her staff, the celebrations for the birth and baptism of the twins was well over half a million euros, in eight years Charlene spent around 15 million euros when she received 7.5 million euros in endowment (the Palace didn't deny this and said that the accountant was simply told to pay the difference with the family's personal funds), she spent 965,000 on a villa in two and a half months, her office decoration cost a million euros, she requested 3 x 300,000 for her brother's house.

Palmero made sure to change Monaco's regency laws so in case something happens to Albert while Jacques is underage Charlene won't be regent. Instead, the principality will be ruled by a regency council.

Albert has a secret apartment in Monaco, bought by one of Palmero's secret companies. He also got rid of problematic photographs of Albert (hinted at blackmail).

there was a whole system for hiding sums used on "special missions". They were labeled DS (for special destinations) and with time were used to pay for an informal intelligence unit that operated within the police force of the principality. They'd collect information on those close to the family and even on politians of the principality. He would also pay journalists to paint a good picture of Monaco while Hollande was president in France and was constantly criticizing tax-havens.

the DS accounts would be used to hide over-budget situations, including budget for the children's nannies and the budget for the wedding.

they were terrified of the Panama papers, as a lot of money laundering funds go through Monaco and the family had accounts on Panamanian banks.

a link between a Russian billionaire and the Monegasque Minister of Justice was revealed in 2017 and the Minister was forced to resign. An investigation was launched by a French judge and there was fears that the palace would be involved: jurisdictional immunity was granted to members of the sovereign family by order. There was rumours that the French judge wanted to hear the Prince as a witness......he was told to leave the principality. He was accused of having, through his “behavior perceived as authoritarian and vexatious”, “endangered the proper functioning of the criminal justice system”.

the real estate market is a big point of collision here and a big focus of article 3. Nothing too interesting to report - Palmero says he tried mingling in the market to break down the monopoly of real estate owners in Monaco (centered around a bestie of the Casiraghi brothers) while Albert claims Palmero had close ties with some of the developers and tried mingling with things that were of interest of the government in order to make money. The real estate issue was what eventually led Palmero to be fired. Palmero and a former laywer of Albert who was his childhood bestfriend and is also now a persona non grata claims that Albert is now fully under the influence of the bestie of the Casiraghi brothers who now controls the real estate in Monaco.

Palmaro is STILL paying property tax on properties he bought for the family!! crazy!!

Palmero detailed a number of off-shore accounts that hold about 250 million euros of the family's fortune including a company created specifically for Charlotte Casiraghi. He passed on the information from that account to Albert's new accountant at a monitored meeting.

Albert's explanation is lowkey....pathetic. He claims he told Palmero to move all of his family's assets from off-shore accounts to Monaco but Palmero never did it and that was that. He claims he was never able to obtain a precise statement on the family assets due to Palmero's secrecy and Albert just trusted him. He claims Palmero would act in his name and refuse to delay his decisions.

A mix of jazmin and vanilla, not overpowering but nice, comforting. It's hard to not melt into his embrace.

"You'll be late, Reo.." You nudge him over but he doesn't budge.

"I've got.." He checks his watch again, "A few more minutes..." He hugs you tighter, kissing the top of your head "I jus' wanna have some more time with the love of my life, don't push me away, yeah?" You sigh into his chest and nod, "Few minutes, love, then off you go"

He nods, little did you know, he woke up an hour earlier than usual today, just to have a few more minutes with you. After all, you're what gets him through his rigorous training, you're the reason he gets up and faces his day with the goal of being the best. The best for you. Even if he already knows, you've told him so many times, that he is the best in your eyes.

You're the reason why, the next day, after finding you in the crowd, wearing his jersey, his number, his surname, he scores at least 3 out of the 5 goals that makes his team win.

After all, there is a shiny little thing stuffed away in his sweater that's laying near his bottle on the field. A little thing that will bound you guys together forever, as he's sure you're the one.

Alfred gets a call from a person he has long forgotten.

It was Jazmine Fenton, A very kind and studious girl who roomed with Barbara for her first year of college. In a rushed and panicked tone, she asked him to watch Danny for a while. He was in danger and he needed a place to stay, and what safer place to stay than Wayne Manor with its top-of-the-line security system?

Alfred accepts. The young lady sounded genuinely afraid for Danny's wellbeing and he always wanted to meet the lad. (He didn't say yes until he did a thorough background check on Jazz and Danny. You aren't a Wayne if you aren't paranoid.)

On the day that Danny was to arrive, The rest of the family was informed of his arrival. Everyone was intrigued to see this mystery kid that Alfred approved of enough to let him stay in the Manor.

The night was cold and rainy. A low carpet of mist hung over the trees around Wayne Manor like a thick blanket.

Alfred heard the kid first. fast pounding footsteps quickly traveling along the long and winding driveway of the Manor. After a minute he saw the boy through the dense fog. Alfred's lips quirked up in a smile. The boy had bright blue eyes and jet black hair, he'll fit right in.

Alfred ushered a soaking wet Danny inside the Manor. That moment was the spark that lead to some of Alfred's happiest moments in the manor in recent years.

Teaching the young Fenton how to disarm a combatant at record speed (This man was a fuckin British secret intelligence operative. He taught Bruce everything he knows and now he's gonna teach this child who is exactly like Bruce as a kid, traumatized and the urge to help and protect at a grand scale molding the rest of his life).

Watching as Dick coached Danny through his first successful Tsukahara-style vault. The pride in both Danny and Dicks face made him so proud of how his grandchildren turned out to be.

Smiling as he taught Danny how to properly plant and weed a garden. Danny beaming as he triumphantly held up a handful of cucumbers and carrots, his arms scratched to hell and back from the cucumber spines.

His favorite of all moments was something so simple and yet it was something he will hold near and dear to his heart for the rest of his life; teaching Danny how to brew a cup of tea. When he first saw Danny pour cold water into a mug, drop the teabag into said mug, and then put the drink in the microwave, he forced Danny to sit down with him and learn the right way to make the drink. That morning ended with a large tower of mugs, filled to the brim with tea, tea leaves scattered all over the floor and ceiling (don't ask, Alfred to this day still doesn't know how that happened), and a laughing Danny triumphantly sipping a successfully made chamomile tea.

After a while Jazz also had to join her brother in the Manor. The moment she asked he accepted her offer. The more the better.

PLARGOS HEADCANONS!! (Sense I got some requests)

- Mr plant is mute and has always had trouble communicating, but Argos helped to teach him sign language and now he can communicate answers to questions or responses with it.

- Argos gets sick very easily and Mr plant makes him tomato soup every time

- Mr plant knows how to play piano, but can get very frustrated if he messes up

- Argos likes to knit sweaters for his neighbors and Mr plant. Mr plant acts like it isn’t a big deal but keeps all of the sweaters he gets in his closet neatly hung up

- Argos can have a little bit of OCD sometimes

- Mr plant likes to sit in the rain and get completely soaked. This is how he drinks water as well so it really helps him. It also calms him down after an “outburst”

- Argos can choose what eye/eyes to see out of on his body whenever he pleases (more on that in a separate post)

- Mr plant loves black coffee, Argos hates coffee but adores jazmine, peppermint, and hibiscus tea

- When on camping trips with Argos’s Boy Scout group, Mr plant does shadow puppets with them (but sighs the whole time)

- Argos dreams of owning a greenhouse one day and is currently saving up (hence why so many jobs)

- Argos frequently borrows Mr plants sweater/shirt thingy and they have movie nights every Friday

- they almost always end up watching Gemini home entertainment or the Mandela catalogue and Argos will almost always cry tears of joy “look at the beauty of this scene mr plant…the screaming gets me every time🥹”

u know when the jasmin tea is kind of savory, that’s what this is giving. i see the clove note is voted really low but i’m getting that spicy ness on my skin with the watery jasmine yes i’m in a japanese botanical garden u get that buzzing spiced quality of certain fresh flowers, sitting down at a little table with freshly brewed jasmine tea.. anyways this kind of thin fresh white floral isn’t really my tea so it can choke. i prefer white peacock lily from them which is a very serene queen lady of the lake funereal white floral jasmine and lily with some funk, but i am interested in trying jazmin yucatan in the hottest heat of summer because it’s really more of a refreshing scent to me—the kind of scent that shines when you’re sweating from just walking outside.. i wanna try crystal pistil too.. why do they have three jasmines?

@ujunxverse: the strobing lights in a small concert venue where an alternative rock band is playing. viv's music taste and little mentions of music she listens to give me recommendations for more artists to listen to in the future. i also realize that our music taste venn diagram is more connected than i realized (cassiopea, have a nice life, radiohead, etc)

@heartandfangs: the narrow aisle of a warm-colored old bookstore. i think because of how amazingly P writes her stories it makes me think of that. one shelf is apocalyptic (the world ends with you) and another is erotica (i owe you and not if it's you)

@jeongwins: an aesthetic-looking list on letterboxd. i know it seems random, but the way lin writes reviews for fics they recommend is how a film critic writes a review for a movie. in a way, it also shows the people what kind of fics they like and how others can expect from the fics by their reviews, just like how people on letterboxd make list for movies they like aesthetically or story wise

@s-ngh8n: open parasols on the sandy beach with the glittering waves in the distance. kinda like their name, lemon has a sense of freshness that i can't fully articulate using adjectives. so, here i am using a description to fully said what i meant

@boba-beom: xing fu tang's brown sugar boba milk tea. other than the boba theme being similar, smiles to me seems very refreshing and warm in the way she speaks and interacts with yours truly

@dim-sun: a cottagecore-themed pixel art. probably because zu had one of them for their banner one time, but every time i found a forest pixel art, it always reminds me of them...

@it-rains-blue: a rupi kaur-style book full of short stories. condensed yet emotionally rich, that is what the vibe of yerin's writing feels like for me. her range also contributes to it as short stories in one book can make you feel so many emotions; throwing the book against the wall or seeing tears fell on the pages from how it got you to feel.

@heart2beom: the smell of salted popcorn as you sit inside the cinema seats. another random one but jazmine makes me feel that way. i haven't read much of her work but i know that it'll give me a good time just like a good movie does.

@tyunlatte: a litter of kittens walking towards you as you sit on the carpeted floor of a cat cafe. seeing illustrations of cats reminds me of alex so much + the cafe aspect is definitely the kind of vibe if i open her blog. you're always in for a treat!

Ocd hanzo anon here. Sorry, i thought about it some more. I think he actually buys tea leaves locally bc they grow and dry it better than him, but he definately has a jazmine plant he can snip from whenever he wants. They are easy to take care of and makes a lot of flowers. I also thought a bit and I think hed use a clay pot for sure. Its more work but the taste would be immacualte. The cup he uses matches the clay pot of course. Nothing fancy about the pot and cup other than it being clay. Jazmine tea has a strong taste already and i feel like he wouldnt put any sweetener in it at all. Or at least taste it before putting anything in it. Now youve got me on another tea kick and I think I need a clay pot of my own lol

Oh wow this is lovely! I agree, once he truly felt settled in ovw, he started collecting and putting the leaves in fancy matching jars. But his jasmine plant is probs his prized possession. A clay pot and cup probably in one of the simple but elegant hagi-yaki styles?

(I’m partial to ao-yaki because blue is my fav color and im a simple man.)
