Jess LaCroix had asked you to join their fugitive taskforce a couple of years ago. You’d worked together on a case before when the FBI had to join forces with the taskforce. It was one of the reasons why he asked you. You fit perfectly with the team and got along well. But not once had it crossed your mind that there might come a day when Jess wasn’t leading the team.
On your last case things went horribly wrong. While protecting a woman from her abusive ex, Jess got shot in the neck. Whenever you close your eyes you can still see the scene in front of you. The blood gushing from his wound, everyone else standing next to him with so much fear in their eyes. It was horrible.
A week after the team got another case, but without Jess steering us… Everyone questioned each other and their course of action. It’s clear we were all coping terribly so when the news came we would have a new leader soon, everyone was relieved.
Truth to be told, you had been keeping yourself at a distance from the others which wasn’t easy considering you lived with Hanna and Ortiz. After the funeral you started hiding in your room. You only ever came out for work or when everyone else was asleep. It was selfish, but everyone’s grief is so overwhelming and you could barely handle your own.
You’d heard Hanna rant to Ortiz about the fact that you were hiding. If there was a person you thought would be considerate, it was her. But her grief made her angry. Just as Ortiz’s grief made him silent. Everyone grieves in different ways, but not everyone is as considerate.
Ivan Ortiz was your hero. Every night, he would leave a plate in the fridge for you so you could heat it up once you left your room which is exactly what you’re doing right now. He’d made a delicious pasta dish.
Solely focused on heating your food, watching the plate swirl around, you don’t notice Ortiz sitting at the kitchen island. It’s only when you turn around that you notice him and let out a yelp.
“I thought you’d never notice,” he chuckles while grabbing you some cutlery.
You accept it gratefully while taking a seat next to him.
“I was very focused on my food,” you sheepishly answer.
Out of the corner of your eye, you can see him watching you. No doubt taking in the bags under your eyes and the way your collarbones were more pronounced, you’d lost a significant amount of weight.
“I wanted to check if it was still you who ate the plate I left out. And I just wanted to see…”
He didn’t finish his sentence and he didn’t have to. He wanted to see how you were coping and it was clear you weren’t doing well. A knot formed in your stomach as you realised just how much you made him worry about you. You had isolated yourself for you, not thinking about the effect it would have on the people closest to you.
“I’m sorry,” you mumble.
“Hey, no, that’s not why I said that. I understand that this is your way of dealing with it. I just really missed seeing you face around here,” Ivan gently said accompanied by a small smile.
You send him one of your own and lean into his side before you continue eating.
“I just never thought there would be a time without him, you know,” you hesitantly confess.
Ivan’s arm that was laying on the back of your seat, winds itself around your shoulders and pulls you close. You rest your head on his chest and let the silent tears fall while you inhale his comforting scent.
“I know what you mean. I never envisioned the team without Jess.”
You move yourselves to the couch and watch a movie. No more words are uttered, you’re both silently spluttering through the pain. While being tucked into Ivan’s side you decide you will come out of your room more, no more hiding.

Ivan Ortiz X Reader
It was truly a long week at work and you were ready to go home. Work was becoming stressful.
There were some things in an account that weren't adding up.  You tried over and over to report it but it never worked out.
You were thinking it was fraudulent activity but you wanted to wait off before you said something because it was a pretty serious accusation.
But that was next week’s problem. It was Friday night and you were ready to go home.
You closed down your laptop for the night and closed down shop for the night.
Most of the office was already headed out so you knew it was time for you to do the same. You grabbed your stuff and headed on out.
You left the office and not wanting to catch the subway you decided to pay the extra cash and caught an uber back home.
You waited inside the office for it to come. When it came you ran out and headed home.
The ride home was silent and you were grateful because you were tired af. The ride home was long considering it was new york and there was a ton of traffic.
You finally made it to your building and on the way up you were hoping to run into Ivan.
He was your next door neighbor. You always thought he was so cute and he had those freaking muscles for days. It wasn’t just the looks though he was incredibly nice and kind.
He lived with Hanna who you were pretty close friends with. Who knew that an account and a FBI agent would have so much in common.
She was so much fun to hang out with and you always were having dinner together or going out.
You made your way into your apartment and sadly you didn’t see him. You turned the lights on and threw your stuff on the table.
You walked inside the living room and was about to plop on the couch but then
There was a noise coming from the kitchen and it made you stop dead in your tracks. At first maybe you thought it was just a random noise then it got louder and your heart stopped beating.
This was usually the time where the smart thing would be to do was run and probably next door to the apartment with FBI agents but you just froze in fear.
It was like your brain was yelling at you to run but you just felt paralyzed.
Suddenly a big figured man came in and that’s when you really got scared and flight or fight kicked in and you took off.
But then man was a lot faster than you. He tackled you down. You tried to fight him off but he was able to overpower you.
He grabbed the lamp on the table and hit you over the head and everything went black after that.  He then took you and carried you out of the building.
Ivan’s POV
It was the first time in a while we were able to have the weekend off
We got off work pretty early or maybe it was late considering we been tracking this case for two days straight. We just got home from Maryland.
Living with Hanna was nice. It was nice to be able not to come home to an empty apartment and i got to meet Y/N. She was beautiful kind and funny.
Me and Hanna were sitting on the couch and it was getting towards dinner. I wanted an excuse to see Y/N.  So i thought maybe we could invite her over for dinner.
“Hey Hanna, how do you feel about asking Y/N if she wants to come over and join us for dinner?” I asked, looking over at her.
Hanna looked over at me and smiled
“Yeah of course sounds fun” She said
“I’ll go get her” I said getting up off the couch.
“Okay Player go get your girl” Hanna said making fun of me.
I threw the pillow at her and we both laughed. I made my way over to the apartment and when i got there the front door was open.
Something wasn’t right with this situation. I went in slowly and looked around.
The apartment was a mess. It looked like a struggle happened here. There was stuff everywhere and Y/N was nowhere to be seen.
“Y/N are you here” I called out.
There wasn’t an answer and it broke my heart. I checked the whole apartment and she wasn’t there. My heart shattered and I knew something was wrong.
I pulled out my phone and called 911
“This is Agent Ortiz with the FBI badge number 8789 there was a kidnapping at 112th  west apartments. Number 3 roll a crime lab and get all available units here now” I said
I ran over back to the apartment and Hanna looked over and she knew something wasn’t right just by the look on my face.
“Hey what’s wrong” Hanna asked, getting off the couch.
“It’s Y/N she’s gone, someone kidnapped her” I said.
Hanna got up and ran over to where I was standing. The air knocked out my lungs and It felt like everything was spinning.
I could usually control my feelings but this time it was different.
“Hey it’s gonna be okay we're gonna call the team and we're gonna track her down” Hanna said
I just nodded my head. I heard patrol officers were finally arriving and I went out to tell them what was going on.
“Hey guys we have a missing 26 year old her name is Y/N. There was a struggle inside the home” I said
“How long ago was she taken” The patrol officer said
“My guess about an hour or ago or less but I’m not a hundred percent sure” I said
Crime lab rolled in a few moments later.
“Send everything you got over to our guys the FBI is taking over the case” I said
I walked out the apartment and Meant up with Hanna who was waiting for me downstairs.
“I called Remy and the Team there going to be waiting for us let’s go” Hanna said
I just nodded and walked out. We went up to the car and got in. I was driving I needed something to distract me from my thoughts right now.
We made our way down the office. I got their in record time because of the laws I may or may not have broken.
We were the first ones there so Hanna took the time to setting up the files and the profile we needed. Seeing Y/N’s picture up there made my stomach sick.
I tried to push down these feelings I was having. I was upset and angry. I know Y/N deserved I work this with a clear head.
Suddenly the rest of the team started piling in. Once everyone arrived Remy spoke up
“What’s going on why are we taking lead on a kidnapping case local PD could handle” He asked
“Because it’s just not a random case it’s Y/N she’s our friend and we know her something bad happened to her” Hanna said
“Look she lives right next to us I went by her apartment around 6pm I saw her door was broken into there was an apparent struggle. Something happened to her” I said
“Okay so what do we know does she have any enemies” Sheryl asked
“None we know of but I looked into her financials there was nothing there but she works as an account so I looked into that some of her accounts came back as fraudulent” Hanna said
“What accounts do they belong to” Kristen asked
“They all belonged to the same group a LLC named Davidson partners they are a hedge fund” Hanna said
“So what are we thinking they had something to do with Y/N was on to them they took her to shut her up” Barnes asked
“More than likely but how do we find her” I asked
“I looked into their properties they have a foreclosed house down in jersey it’s a house 16 west way” Hanna said.
“Let’s go and gear up call local PD tell them were on our way” Remy said.
I ran off and put my gear on and everyone followed suit. Hanna grabbed me by the arm and waited until everyone left. Then she spoke up
“She’s going to be okay were going to find her but are you going to be okay” Hanna asked.
“Yeah i’ll be good once we bring her home” I said
Hanna nodded and we walked out to the car. Everyone was sitting in the cars ready and we hopped in and took off.
My mind was running the whole time. I couldn’t help but think off the horrible things they could be doing to her or the worry that she might not be okay. I should have told her before how i felt.
I hope I don’t miss out on my chance. The car was silent and no one was saying anything. I think I was going to burst out of my seat.
The destination was a little while away so I knew it was going to take a while to get there but I was so impatient.
It took us over an hour to get there and in these kind of situations that was forever. We finally made it to the house. It was old and abandoned. The perfect pace to hide someone.
Local PD was there, we got out and Remy took us aside
“Okay guys we do this right and by the book Barnes and Hanna take the front me Ivan and Kristen will take the front. Remy said.
We all took positions and I was in the front ready to.
Remy put his hand in the air and counted down to five.
Once he hit 5 I busted open the door
“FBI anyone here” I yelled.
It was silent and we all made our way in and searched the house. I made my way down to the basement.
I walked slowly down the stairs and that’s when my heart sank into a million pieces.
I saw Y/N and she was barely conscious with bruises all over her body. . I haltered  my weapon and ran over to her.
“Hey look at me, you're okay” I said to her.
She opened her eyes and looked at me and you could see the sadness and fear in them.
“It’s okay your safe now okay” I told her
“Can you walk” I asked
“Yeah I think so” She said softly.
I cut the ropes tied around her wrist and helped her get up. She stood to her feet and we walked up out the basement.
We walked out the house and to the car and there was a man who looked young being arrested and put into a patrol car.
I felt Y/N tense up under me when she saw who it was.
“Y/N is that him” I asked
She just looked over at me and she had tears rolling down her face. She didn’t even need to say anything I just knew.
“Come on let’s get you checked out” I told her.
We walked over to the ambulance and I sat her down.  The paramedic started looking over her and I didn’t leave her side.
Hanna walked over to where we were standing.
“Hey how she doing” She asked me
“There checking her out now is that the guy” I asked.
“Yeah that’s him he was there he hasn’t confessed but were get him he was the only one alone in the house” Hanna said
Just then one of the paramedics walked over to us.
“She looks her vitals are good just a little beat up and she wants to go home” The man said.
“Thanks” I said
I walked over to where she was sitting. She looked up at me and gave me a small smile.
“What’s this I hear about you not wanting to go the the hospital” I asked.
“I’m good and I don’t feel like spending the night in the hospital I Just wanna go home” She said
“Well there’s no way in hell i’m letting you go back to your apartment home alone your coming with us” I said
“No It’s okay I don’t wanna intrude it’s already you and Hanna there” She said
“And we have plenty of room for you” I said
“And were not taking no for an answer” Hanna yelled over.
Sheryl walked over to where we were
“Everyone ready to go were all finished up here” She said
“Yeah were good” Y/N said
She hopped out the back of the ambulance and we walked over to the cars. She sat in the middle with Me and Hanna both sitting next to her.  The car ride was the same as the first time nice and quiet.
I held her hand and didn’t let go the whole time neither did she. She squeezed it hard.
We reached back at the office about an hour an half later. We all pilied out and made our way inside. Y/N sat down at the table and we all took our gear off.
When we were done we all gathered around.
“Good work today now were gonna need statements and paperwork but that can wait until tomorrow everyone have a good night” Remy said
“Thanks guys for all the help” I said
“Of course no need to thank us” Kristen said.
I grabbed Y/N’s hand and me and her Hanna walked out. We all piled back into Hanna’s car I sat in the back next to Y/N so she felt safer.
We arrived back to the apartment 20 minutes later. I could tell Y/N tense up and this had to be hard for her.
“Hey your okay there not going to back to hurt your safe” I said
Hanna grabbed her other hand and squeezed it. Y/N looked over at her and smiled and we all walked in.
Her apartment was still a mess with crime scene tape. The door was slightly open and we just walked passed it into our apartment.
We got in and Y/N walked over and sat on the couch. Hanna walked to the kitchen
“I’m ordering take out and pouring us some wine” Hanna said
We all laughed and then Y/N spoke up in a quiet tone
“Pour me a big glass” She laughed
“I’m going to stop by your apartment and get you some things” I said
She just nodded and I went out and got her some clothes and a hair brush. I didn’t want her to have to come back for anything.
The apartment was a mess and everything was tossed and she didn’t need to see that. I just got her some basics and got out of there.
When I made it back her and Hanna were drinking wine together. When she saw me come back in with her stuff.
She put the glass down and walked over to me she grabbed the bag from me.
“Thank you I appreciate it is it okay If I borrow the shower” She asked
“Of course don’t even ask it’s right down the hall” I said
“Thank you” She said and made her way down.
I sat next to Hanna on the couch and picked up the wine glass and finished the rest of it.
“How she doing” I asked
“Scared obviously but i think she’s gonna be okay she’s strong” Hanna said
We talked for about 20 minutes until Y/N came out. She was wearing her PJs and she was holding her bag.
“Thank you guys I appreciate it so much for everything” She said
“Of course let me show you where your be sleeping” I said
I got up and walked to my bedroom. She sat down on the bed and placed her bag down next to her on the floor.
I was about to leave but then she shouted
“Wait don’t go” Y/N said
“Okay” I said sitting down next to her.
She just looked at me like she was searching for the right answers to say.  I decided to speak up
“Y/N I’m glad your okay because I couldn’t bare to loose you, you are kind and sweet and funny and I don’t want to loose any regrets I love you it sounds crazy I know” I said getting off my chest.
“Out of all the times to tell me that” She said laughing
“Your right I’m sorry” I said
“No Don’t be I love you to I know it sounds crazy but your right I can’t help how I feel I just feel something” Y/N said
I sat closer to her and pulled her into a hug and kissed the top of her head.
“Let’s get some sleep” I said
“Will you stay” She asked
“Of course” I said
She laid down on the bed and I laid down next to her and she placed her head on my chest. I wrapped my arms around her. She fell asleep a few moments later and I was just glad she was okay.
I’m glad I told her how I felt. I just wish all this didn’t have to happen. But at least now she’s safe and home and that’s all that mattered. I wish I could take away what happened and her pain away but Y/N’s strong and she’ll be okay.
She’s safe and Protected now and that’s all that matters to me ..

Bigger Better Family

Bigger Better Family...
Ivan Ortiz x Reader
The first thing that Ivan heard as he walked through the front door of his home was slash-your-tires country music. Which worried him, because Y/N only played it when he forgot an important event. He slowly sat down his duffel, kicking off his shoes by the door, and began searching for his wife.
“Babe?” He called, cautiously moving down the hallway towards their shared room.
Y/N poked her head out of the room they were turning into a nursery. “Hey, baby!” She smiled, happy to see him home safe. She stepped fully out of the room, swollen stomach first. “I am so glad you are home!”
He gulped, “You are? Because your music is telling me something else.”
She giggled, resting one hand on his shoulder. “My slash-your-tires music has nothing to do with you and everything to do with the crib.” She pointed to the open door. “The instructions musta been written by an engineer, because they are complicated as fuck.”
Ivan kissed her forehead, a smirk playing on his lips. “I will take a look at it after dinner.”
Y/N’s eyes brightened at the mention of food. “Good, because I made Chicken Bacon Ranch Pasta.”
He hummed in happiness. “Pregnancy craving?”
She grinned cheekily up at him, “Maybe…”
He just laughed and let her lead him into their kitchen. She had their table set, with fresh flowers from her garden sitting in the middle. “Are you trying to seduce me?” He asks playfully.
She threw her head back in laughter, only to give him sultry eyes. “How could I not?” She reached forward and smacked his ass.
He jumped away from her with a gasp. “Babe!!”
Y/N just grinned, moving to make their plates. She scooped nice big servings of pasta onto both plates, making sure to leave room for the green beans and homemade rolls-- which were quickly added to the plates. Ivan rolled his eyes, grabbing a beer for himself and a glass of sweet tea for her.
They talked about trivial things while they ate, not wanting to get into the case Ivan had been on. Ivan didn’t really like talking about his work with her, stating that it was too dark and that he didn’t want to bother her with it. He would talk about his co-workers and the banter that they shared. He was becoming close with Kenny Crosby, having bonded over a shared history. Everytime Ivan talks about his team, Y/N bugs him to invite them over but he won’t because ‘it could put stress on the baby’. She wanted to call bullshit, but also respect his boundaries.
She didn’t completely understand the distance that he put between her and his job, as she runs her own book cafe. But she made him promise to not push for more than he is willing to share, even if she really wanted to. And that want got worse after they found out that they were pregnant.
After dinner, Ivan shooed her off to bed so that he could do the dishes. She happily did as she was told, body hurting from the constant kicks of their baby. Ivan ran her a hot bath, helping her settle in before returning to the dishes. Y/N soaked for a good thirty minutes, letting the soft music she turned on to relax her tense muscles. She dressed in a pair of undies and a shirt that she stole from Ivan once she dried off and braided her shoulder length hair.
Ivan hadn’t returned to their room, so she went on the hunt for him. Though she didn’t have to go far, she took a moment to let her presence be known. He was sitting in front of the crib pieces that she had tried to put together, on FaceTime with a man she assumed to be Kenny.
“Dude, these instructions are confusing as hell.” He complained, moving to show him the instructions.
“Where’d you get the crib, NASA?” She heard Kenny ask. He didn’t seem surprised that Ivan was going to be a father, which surprised Y/N because that means that he has talked about her to his new friends.
Ivan groaned in frustration, squeezing his eyes shut. “No, Ikea apparently.”
Kenny laughed, “So, the Swedish NASA.”
Y/N watched her husband roll his eyes at his friend. She stepped into the room, trying to not alert him of her presence. She leaned down and whispered, “Who are you talking to, love muffin?”
Ivan screamed, “What the fuck?!” He dropped the phone, which made Kenny cackle. “Where’d you come from?”
Y/N clutched her stomach as she leaned away from him. “Well, the bedroom.” She pointed towards the doorway. “But if you want a more specific answer, we’ll have to have a longer conversation.” She then pointed to her stomach.
He rolled his eyes, playfully annoyed at her. “I know where babies come from, love.”
“I don’t, can you explain it to me?”  Kenny asked from the floor.
The couple busted out laughing. “Hush, Kenny!”
“That’s not how you treat family.” He huffed like a child, which made them laugh harder.

Blast from the past.
Ivan has an old friend come back and it causing a little drift in his relationship with the reader. Characters – Ivan x Reader, Jesse. Word Count – 1.2k.
‘What’s going on with you?’ You asked Ivan, he looked at you. ‘Nothing.’ He told you, your arched an eyebrow before sliding the mug closer to you. ‘Nothing, well you’ve been avoiding me.’ You pointed out, not pushing him that pair of you fell into silence as you drank your morning coffee. ‘She kissed me.’ Ivan stated, you froze with the mug halfway to your mouth, before you lowered it. ‘Who? Sherry?’ You asked, knowing that his ex and ex informant was back. ‘Yeah.’ He replied, you nodded. ‘Okay.’ You commented. ‘You’re not annoyed?’ He asked cautiously. ‘I am but you’ve got a history.’ You told him, not pushing it any further. ‘We do but I shouldn’t have allowed it.’ Ivan stated, you looked at him. ‘You shouldn’t have but it’s in the past, your history with her as well.’ ‘I don’t understand you.’ ‘Ivan, I love you, a kiss from a fling that you had over five years ago won’t make me break up with you.’ You told him, he raised into the seat. ‘Unless that’s what you want?’ You asked him, his face dropped before he started shaking his head. ‘No, god no I don’t.’ He replied quickly reaching out and taking a hold of your hand, giving it a squeeze.
‘Your dad looks happy.’ You told Jesse, watching as his father dance with his new bride,  he turned to you and nodded. ‘Everyone seems happy.’ Jesse said as she looked at the groups, noticing you glance over to Ivan and the others. ‘But you and Ivan.’ ‘Ever since Sherry came back onto the scene he’s been distant.’ ‘I know it’s in the past I can’t be mad, but with her being killed I don’t know what’s going to happen.’ You told him truthfully. ‘Do you love him?’ Jesse asked, you didn’t feel offend you knew Jesse was looking out for him. ‘Of course I do.’ You replied. ‘And he loves you, I know it because my wife used to look at me like that.’ He said, you gave him a sad smile. ‘Maybe you just need to give him time, he will tell you.’ He suggested, you nodded before glancing at the watch that sat on your wrist. ‘Let’s hope, but enough about me you should be celebrating with your family.’ You told him, gesturing to his father and mother in law. ‘What about you?’ He asked, you gave a small frown. ‘I have to be in court early tomorrow so unfortunately I need to head home and prepare.’ You said, reaching up and pressing a kiss to his cheek before you stared waking away, glad you had worn wedges so they weren’t sinking into the grass. ‘Ivan?’ You called, he turned to you and pulled away from his group. ‘Everything okay?’ He asked, you nodded with a smile. ‘Yeah, I’m gonna head home.’ You told him, his brows furrowed for a second. ‘Court tomorrow?’ He said with an arched eyebrow, you gave him a smile before nodding. ‘Let me give you a ride home.’ He suggested raving for the car keys, you placed a hand on his chest stopping him. ‘It’s okay, you’ve already had too many to drink so I’ll take the car and you can crash here or get a lift home?’ You told him, he nodded before fishing the keys and holding them out to you. ‘I love you.’ He said, pressing a kiss to your cheek. ‘I love you too.’ You replied, he nodded before you waved and said good bye to the team before you made your way to the car, stopping when you were at the drives side you looked at the family that were all laughing and cheering.
‘What are you doing?’ You asked, watching as he connected his phone to your speakers you had spread through your shared apartment. ‘I never got to dance with you yesterday.’ He said, the soft music filled the place. ‘Ivan.’ You said fighting a smile. ‘Just dance with me please.’ He practically begged you, stretching his hand out. You looked at him before accepting his stretched out hand, he smiled widely as he pulled you into his chest and you stared swaying on the stop. You both moved in silence, occasional taking small steps to the side, moving in a square. ‘I’m sorry.’ He whispered again your hair. ‘About what?’ You asked, he looked down at you. ‘For making your my second priority over the past couple of days.’ He told you, you went to speak but he leaned closer pressing his forehead to yours. ‘Please, just listen.’ He warned you his eyes pleading you, you nodded. ‘When Sherry came back into view I was shocked.’ ‘She was a mistake, I shouldn’t have slept with her in the first place.’ He continued. ‘I acted like horny teenager because I wanted to get my mind off of the one person that I really wanted to but they had a date that night.’ He said, you eyebrows furrowed. ‘Oh who was your crush?’ ‘You.’ He said, you pulled back slightly shocked. ‘What?’ ‘I meet you that day before I went and saw her.’ He explained, you fought a smile. ‘I had only just been appointed as the lawyer.’ You said, remembering the day you had walked into your small office to be greeted with an overwhelmingly large bundle of paperwork. ‘Yeah, but when a powerful, sexy woman in those suits keep walking past your desk everyday, asking how everyone was it does something to you.’ He explained you, you smile widened when you saw the tint of blush covering his on his cheeks. ‘And the fact that you were always taking on the cases, difficult cases of proving that the victims were innocent.’ He continued before pulling a face. ‘You had a crush on me then?’ ‘Yeah.’ Ivan said, you twisted your face and chuckled to yourself. ‘What’s funny?’ He asked, not knowing what you were laughing at. ‘I liked you as well.’ You admitted, his jaw dropped. ‘Seriously?’ He asked, you nodded. ‘Yeah, and that date that night was me meeting up with my cousin who was asking me to be his best man.’ You told him, he titled his head back ‘We could’ve been together since then?’ He sounded shocked. ‘Do you think you could be put up with me for that long?’ You asked, he pursed his lips tilting his head to the side, you playfully whacked his shoulder before he laughed. ‘Yeah, and I hope to do it for the rest of my life.’ He said. ‘Ivan.’ You warned him, he pressed a kiss to your forehand before pulling away, he reached into jacket pocket and pulled out the small box. He opened it slowly and revealed the simple silver band, the small gem cantered on the band. ‘If you’ll have me I want to share everything with you for the rest of my life.’ He said, you looked from the ring to him before smiling widely. ‘Yeah.’ You replied. ‘Really?’ He asked sounding shocked. ‘Yeah, I’ll put up with you for the rest of my life.’ Your told him, the bright smile took over his face before he quickly took the ring out the box, chucking it onto the couch before he slid the ring onto your finger.

Three years ago today on June 12th, 2016, we watched in horror, as the news broke of the horrific tragedy in Orlando, at a gay nightclub, that had been hosting Latin night that evening.
The body count kept rising. We heard about the cellphones ringing in the pockets of those who would never answer them again.
The Facebook status that Pulse Orlando posted during the massacre still gives me the chills : "Everyone get out of pulse and keep running"
49 people were killed (technically 50, if we include the shooter, which #sorrynotsorry, I don't) and 53 were wounded at the Pulse Nightclub.
Since then countless mass shootings have taken place. I wish I could say we’ve done the victims justice by changing our laws and having more gun regulations, but that simply isn’t true. As a society we’ve become so numb to tragedy. It’s not always a conscious decision to become numb, it’s only human to try and protect yourself from tragedy and chaos. You can however, make the decision to pay attention and care.
49 people will never tell their friends and family how much they love them again, 49 people will never get to celebrate another holiday, 49 people will never be able to go to a gay club and dance again. It’s hard to imagine just how big the impact of something like the Pulse shooting has, but without a doubt it has changed thousands of peoples lives.
These victims deserve so much more. When we take a stand and make our voice heard, we are standing up for these 49 and the countless others who have tragically joined them in the past three years.
They deserve to be remembered:

As we remember those taken from us, take the time to reflect on how the inaction from our elected officials has led to the tragedies we have seen all too often. Reflect on the truth that black lives matter, that shootings in schools, and other places have got to stop, and how a lack of love for each other can lead to a tragedy that stains our communities deeply with that expressed hate.
It's been three years since the Pulse shooting. Since then, gun violence and violence against LGBTQ+ folks has only escalated. In this time of remembrance and grieving we must reach out to each other and show love and compassion.
Do not forget this
Don't let this take away pride from you
Don't let this scare you into hiding
Be careful and be safe
But don't stop existing
Dont stop vocalizing
Defy this shit and the people who spread hatred by being who you are
They cant silence us!

We All Knew

A/N: If you like my work please comment like and reblog it means alot to see my work
Ortiz X Reader
Y/N’s POV
You have been working as a Agent with the most wanted team sense Jess started it ,You were his first hire.
You were younger than the rest of the team Jess had recruited you right out of the Academy.
You loved your job everyone was a family. You also liked being able to travel and take down the bad guys. It was always a rewarding feeling taking a fugitive off the street.
Your dating life was something that always seemed to take a back burner to the job.
You weren’t sure how Barnes did it with her family and Jess had Sara. You weren’t even sure if you had Kristen was dating someone because she was always private.
Crosby was dating Zadie and they were really cure together but it made you feel so lonely.
You would always go on tinder and bumble dates. And they always went two ways. They were intimidated by you because you were an agent and their fragile male ego couldn’t handle it. The second way it would go would be the time away would be hard.
They always complained that you had to leave at any given moment and be gone in another state.
The distance was hard which you couldn’t blame them on that one. It was hard on you too.
You had a little glimmer of hope when Ivan joined the team. The two of you hit it off right away. He was funny kind and damn that man was sexy as hell.
Sense everyone else was in a relationship, the two of you always hung out together outside of work.
Not wanting to go home alone to an empty apartment. It was always fun when the two of you hung out together.
You both would go bar hopping and even trying out new things in NYC. The last couple of months things have seemed like they were changing between the two of you.
It kind of turned more romantic then friendship. He would hold your hand and when other guys would talk to you he would always get over protective of you.
A few times lately he even ended up staying the night and you did at his apartment as well. The two you never really talked about it though. You weren’t even sure how to handle it or what it meant.
Was it casual or was it something else. You didn’t want to push him or mess up what ever was going on so you decided it was best not to say anything. Though if you were being honest with yourself it was making it hard at work.
You used to be professional at work and know how to separate what ever was going on with you and Ivan but lately that wasn’t working.
When you saw him in danger or knew you were walking into a bad situation it was hard seeing him like that. You always worried about him and was worried your emotions were taking over your best judgment.
Like this case you were working on now. The fugitive was setting bombs in local random places. Which made it harder because you weren’t sure how to nail this son of a bitch.
You all were currently sitting in the mobile unit trying to come up with a game plan.
“Okay we have a name how do we find out his next target” You asked
“The place I would go to if i were him was the place it all started my former employer” Ivan said
“Makes sense that would be his end game but that’s about 2 hours away so we need to get on the road now” Jess said
You all agreed and then headed off to Florida there where he was formerly employed.  It was late when you all took off so everyone was bunked away sleeping.
You couldn’t sleep though your anxiety was getting the better of you. So you were sitting at the table just starting at the tea full of honey. Which you thanks to Jess you got hooked on.
You were so caught up in your thoughts you didn’t even notice Ivan walked in and sat down next to you.
“Hey Y/N is everything” He asked in a concerned voice.
“Yeah I’m good just tired” You said looking up at him giving a smile.
“Hey it’s me you don’t have to lie come on lay it own me” Ivan said
“It’s a rough case and if i’m being totally honest it’s getting harder for me to separate professional and Private” You said
He went over and grabbed your hand and gave it a squeeze. He smiled up at you. Something about when he gave you that look made you melt and wanna spill all your life secrets to him.
“Look i don’t want to put you in a bad situation or make you feel on the spot but what is going on with us” You asked
He didn’t answer at first what made your heart drop because you worried that you did mess up whatever was going on.
“Hey I didn’t want to ruin what ever was going on either but I love you and i’ve been waiting more and I wasn’t sure if you felt the same” Ivan said
“I love you to” You said
Ivan moved his chair closer to you and then leaned in and kissed you softly. It was so short and so sweet. When the kiss broke he spoke up
“Now that’s been handled we need to go get some rest for tomorrow” Ivan said
“I can probably sleep good now” You said laughing
You both got up and went back to your bunker and you even did fall back asleep. The next morning came up so quick you didn’t wanna get up.
You grumpily made your way back to main room and everyone was awake but you. They all just looked at you and laughed.
“Good morning sleeping beauty” Crosby said very loudly.
“Shuttt up” You yelled extraghing it.
It made everyone laugh and then Jess spoke up
“Okay everyone he’s our game plan we need to hit this place fast and hard so we need full tactical gear and get into our positions” Jess said
You all nodded and geared up. Ivan looked over at you and gave you a smile and he walked over and squeezed your hand.
You smiled at him and squeezed it back. You both finished gearing up and you even grabbed a muffin for the car ride.
Everyone gathered in the cars and Ivan sat next to you. No one was really talking it was hard because no matter how times you faced danger it was always nerve wracking.
You reached the destination in minutes and you all piled out. You got into your usual positions with Crosby taking up a sniper position.
“FBI OPEN UP” Jess yelled
Swat broke down the door and you all worked on clearing the building. When you went in the one room there was the fugitive.
“FBI drop the gun” you said
“I’m not going to jail” The fugitive yelled
“Think clearly now you don’t want to do anything stupid” You said trying to calm him down.
“Go to hell” the guy said
The then shot his gun and then ran off. You instantly fell down and it hurt bad.  Barnes ran in after you
“Y/N come on your okay” Barnes said looking over you panic clear in her voice.
She sighed a big deep breathe of relief.
“Your vest caught it your going to be okay” Barnes said
You took off the vest and looked and saw the bullet that was caught in your vest. You were relived but also shook bad.
Barnes helped you up and you walked out the room to the outside. The fugitive didn’t get very far. Thank goodness he was already in custody.
You walked over to the ambulance because Sheryl insisted you get checked out. Ivan ran over to you when he saw where you were headed.
“Hey what happened are you okay” He asked
“I’m good I swear the vest caught it i’m just a bit shaken up” You said grabbing his hand.
Everyone was gathered around now to check on you. Ivan wouldn’t let your hand go.
Crosby looked a bit confused before Kristen spoke up
‘So now it’s official” Kristen asked
“What’s official”Crosby asked
“He’s so clueless there dating now it’s official” Sheryl said
‘How do you know that” You asked
“We all knew I don’t look at my coworkers like that” Jess said
Everyone laughed at that and Crosby finally put it together.
“At least know we don’t have to hide” You said
“Were happy for you both now before we head home there’s a good chinese restaurant near by who’s hungry” Jess said
“Me” you and crosby both yelled at the same time.
You all cleared up the scene and then headed to eat. Ivan pulled you aside and grabbed your face with his hands.
“Don’t scare me like that again” Ivan said
“I don’t plan on it” you said leaning in and kissing him.
“Get a room” Kenny yelled
“Yeah we will right after dinner” You teased.
Ivan laughed and grabbed your hand and you all walked back to everyone. Neither you or Ivan had been happier and you were glad it was now open and official.

Can a team of 25 Ichiros win the World Series?
Tumblr media
If you were to build a team with nothing but clones of a single player, which player would you choose? The correct answer is Ichiro Suzuki, and Kofie Yeboah is going to prove it.
When people talk about MVP Baseball 2005, two words always come out of their mouths.
“Jon Dowd.”
Tumblr media
Yes, the EA Sports counter to Barry Bonds turned into a cult icon for many years after the series ended. The character became something people can talk about at networking events and water coolers to prove that they, in fact, also had a childhood. The reason why the 40-year-old wasn’t in the game was due to the fact that Bonds decided to individually license his likeness, rather than work with the MLBPA. So instead of getting dude with an iconic cross earring and a batting stance that oozes swagger, we got a guy that you can’t pick out of an Imagine Dragons lineup with the most generic batting stance.
Seriously, it literally says generic.
Tumblr media
I used to do this anyway.
Tumblr media
If you ask me, the best player in the game was not Jon Dowd, but Ichiro Suzuki.
While there aren’t official overall rating numbers in this game, Ichiro is listed as the 13th best player in the game behind Jon Dowd, Vladimir Guerrero, Albert Pujols, Todd Helton, Manny Ramirez, Ivan “Pudge” Rodriguez, Scott Rolen, Pedro Martinez, Johan Santana, Adrian Beltre, Randy Johnson and David Ortiz.
It makes sense when you look at this on screen, but when you actually play the video game it’s clear that Ichiro is even better than his already high overall ranking.
To showcase Ichiro’s talents and abilities, I’ve decided to make a team comprised of Ichiro clones to see if they can win the World Series.
But before I do that, let’s take a closer look at the elements that make Ichiro an absolute nightmare for the other team.
Hitting
First, I want to address the hitting mechanics in MVP Baseball 2005. As is the case with many of today’s video games, hitting is separated into contact and power. A hitter with good contact and bad power can theoretically launch the ball into orbit if the pitch is juicy enough. A big power hitter with bad contact can launch many balls into space, but have a higher risk of pop ups and long fly ball outs.
This isn’t the case with Ichiro.
Ichiro is so good at contact hitting that he could also in turn hit for power. Against left-handed pitching, he was given a power rating of 69 and a contact rating of 99. Against right-handed pitching, he was given a power rating of 58 and a contact rating of 97.
Tumblr media
The power rating doesn’t seem that impressive until you look at some of the other players in the game. Miguel Cabrera, a player with 33 home runs in 2004, was given a 74 power rating against lefties.
Tumblr media
Adrian Beltre — who hit 48 home runs in 2004, but only six against left-handed pitching — was given a 71 overall power rating against lefties. This decent power rating paired with godlike contact skill allowed Ichiro to have a different play style in the video game. According to Baseball-Reference.com, Ichiro had a home run to fly ball ratio of 3.8%. Let’s compare that to Barry Bo … I mean Jon Dowd, whose ratio was 24.5% in that same season.
Ratings aside, you could hit many home runs with Ichiro if you wanted. Of all the hot and cold zone displays in the game, Ichiro is one of the few players with more than 9 total hot zones out of the 18 possible.
Of those few, most are all-stars or legends who have to be unlocked in the game, so that puts Ichiro in elite company. If you gave Ichiro a high 2-seam or 4-seam fastball, there was a good chance he would tag it out of the park.
Ichiro’s power potential isn’t far-fetched either. His longest homer in the Statcast era is 432 feet. There’s even a dope video from the YouTube channel Foolish Baseball that investigates Ichiro’s power-hitting potential.
However, doing so would be disrespectful to real life Ichiro, a player who once said, “chicks who dig home runs aren’t the ones who appeal to me. I think there’s sexiness in infield hits because they require technique.”
With this newfound power, Ichiro could also hit the ball over the outfielders, who would play shallow against him on certain occasions. This allowed for normal fly balls to drop in for a hit, and gave Ichiro another chance to showcase his speed. In his case, if a ball hit the wall, it was almost always a guaranteed triple. Depending on the dimensions of the ballpark, it could be an instant home run.
My favorite part of the game was choosing a retro ballpark with absolutely wonky dimensions and watching Ichiro just go to town with his speed. It was amazing to watch. Let’s look at the Polo Grounds as an example. You see how the center field fence is 483 feet away from home plate? Trust me, this will come up later.
Tumblr media
To test Ichiro’s power potential, I put him against Albert Pujols in the home run showdown. Even thought he lost most of the showdowns, Ichiro would often hit the same number of home runs as Albert Pujols. Here is one of the attempts. Yes, Albert won, but it shouldn’t be this close. At all.
This result had me convinced that Ichiro could actually win.
Tumblr media
So close.
Tumblr media
19 POINTS?! OH COME ON!
It took over 20+ tries, but Ichiro finally beat Albert in a Home Run Showdown.
Even if you didn’t want to go for the long ball, you could still wreck all kinds of havoc on the diamond. Because at the end of the day ...
Ichiro is still fast as hell.
Ichiro’s speed rating is a 97, which is a freaking nightmare for catchers, pitchers and the entire defense at the same time. The only players faster than Ichiro in this game are:
Tumblr media
Lou Brock, and that’s it. Power didn’t dominate MVP Baseball 2005. Speed did.
If you started a fantasy dynasty of fast players, such as Scott Podsednik, Rafael Furcal, Chone Figgins, Carl Crawford and Juan Pierre, you could construct the most irritating lineup of all time.
With players like these, you were damn near guaranteed to make it to second after bunting, making it to first and then stealing. If the catcher wasn’t a top-tier thrower, they were screwed. If the pitcher took a long time delivering the ball out of the stretch, they were out of luck.
To put his speed to the test, we had Ichiro attempt to steal 100 bases against the best-throwing catcher in the game, Ivan Rodriguez (Henry Blanco was also an option). Here’s what we found whenever Ichiro tried to steal second base against the best.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
If you didn’t throw your hardest fastball or pitch out, you weren’t likely to catch Ichiro. Now, a 57% steal success rate seems pretty pedestrian. Ichiro’s career steal success rate was 81%, including a whopping 85% of his attempts of third base. However, keep in mind that all of this data involves the fastest, most accurate catchers arm in the game.
Imagine if I’d used Mike Piazza.
Tumblr media
Let’s not forget about bunting, either
The MVP Baseball drag bunt animation was quick and came out of nowhere, so there really wasn’t any tip-off to what the speedster was up to. When you give that quick of an animation to a player with a bunting rating of 99 and a speed rating of 97, you’re going to see some serious shit. Just look at this.
Tumblr media
When you pair Ichiro’s speed with his insane hitting power, he could make some incredible plays. He could bunt for a hit and get down the line so fast that the defender wouldn’t even bother making the throw. They just gave up.
Tumblr media
Let’s talk defense.
When you have all that speed, that’s one thing. When you have speed and an arm chiseled personally by God, there’s nothing that can stop you. On April 11th, 2001, Ichiro threw a perfect strike from right field to put the entire league on notice.
youtube
Anyone who has seen this clip should know better than to challenge Ichiro, but for some reason people kept testing this man.
youtube
Here are Ichiro’s fielding stats.
Tumblr media
Remember when I said the Polo Grounds center field fence was 483 feet away from home plate? Here’s Ichiro throwing to home from that exact spot like it’s no big deal.
Tumblr media
I think this speaks for itself.
Now, I had the idea to make a team full of Ichiros and see how far I could take them. (The first initials are there because the game forced me to enter a first name, and I wanted to tell them apart for statistical purposes.)
Tumblr media
This leaves one unanswered question.
What about pitching?
Can Ichiro pitch? He was a pitcher in high school, but what about the professional level? The answer is yes! Luckily I had two frames of reference.
There is the time he pitched in 2015.
youtube
And the time he pitched in the 1996 Japanese All-Star Game.
youtube
Ichiro mainly sticks with the simple fastball-changeup combination, but the occasional breaking ball shows up.
Tumblr media
So we have a three-pitch arsenal that we’re going to have to stick with for 162+ games. While it’s serviceable, I’m not expecting any Barry Zito-level performances.
Are we ready? I’m ready. Let’s do this.
Dynasty Time!
These are our team goals. I think we’re going to win more than 2 Silver Slugger awards and score the most runs in baseball.
Tumblr media
April 2005: 16-8 (first in A.L. West)
After one month of play, the Seattle Ichiros are 16-8. In 24 games, three Ichiro clones are hitting .400 or higher, and seven are batting over .300.
Tumblr media
SEVEN OF THE TOP 11 players in the stolen base category are Ichiros. Another Ichiro is leading the team with six wins and two saves already. He’s also 7th in the league in strikeouts. WHAT.
Tumblr media
The team has combined for 72 stolen bases and has been caught stealing only 6 times. GOOD LORD. As expected, the pitching staff is marginally mediocre.
Tumblr media
For this team however, that’s more than good enough.
May: 19-8 (35-16 for the season, first in the A.L. West)
For some reason, the Seattle Ichiros have regressed into the 29th-best pitching team in the league, but thanks to incredible hitting and fielding, we are tied for the best record in baseball. Nine Ichiros are in the top 10 for stolen bases. Everything is going well, except for R. Ichiro. We also had a trade offer for Ray Durham. Do we make a deal?
Tumblr media
Hell no. We’re the Seattle Ichiros. All or nothing.
June: 17-9 (52-25 for the season, first in the A.L. West)
The Seattle Ichiros have the best record in baseball at 52-25. Seven Ichiros are hitting over .300, and eight have over 20 stolen bases. The only other players in the league with more than 20 are Carl Crawford and Bobby Abreu.
The pitching has not produced a single shutout win the entire season so far, but it looks like what’s working is working. Score a lot of runs, tank pitching, win, repeat. My manager grade is also an A- which is weird because I’m not even watching the games. Maybe I should watch a game.
*The Ichiros won 11-5*
Tumblr media
This is a baseball game unlike any I’ve seen before. I’ve never seen such aggressive baserunning spread all throughout the roster. The Ichiros stole 6 bases and never got caught. It’s like watching all the racers in Mario Kart with endless speed mushrooms. I wish real baseball was like this. Watching this team field is similar to watching superheroes do pedestrian tasks with their powers like it’s no big deal.
This is definitely a championship team. Can the Ichiros really bring Seattle their first World Series title ever?
July: 15-11 (67-36 for the season, second in the A.L. West and 1st in the Wild Card race)
So. Apparently the Angels are really freakin’ good. See what happens when you have good pitching? Wow.
Even still, the Ichiro collective is doing their best to rectify this with some solid hitting. By the way, nine Ichiros made the All-Star Team, which if I had to guess would be the first time that’s ever happened? Nine All-Stars and they’re not even leading the division. Incredible.
Tumblr media
Meanwhile, don’t look now but Jon Dowd is going for a Triple Crown.
Tumblr media
August: 17-11 (85-47 for the season, first in the A.L. West)
Jesus Christ, what happened to the Angels?
Tumblr media
Even though the Ichiros didn’t have a weird surge, the Angels seem to be going through it. Seattle has opened up a seven-game lead on the Angels. Luckily, the Angels have a chance to make up ground in September, as they have six games against the Ichiros.
The Ichiros have scored 931 runs this season; the next closest team has 767. That’s wild. They also have six players with at least 15 home runs or more, which is of note because Ichiro’s season high in the real world is 15 home runs.
We have 30 games left.
(I’m very impressed with the fact that none of the Ichiros have sustained an injury yet. I’m lying I turned injuries off.)
September-October: 16-12 (102-60 for the season, first in the A.L. West)
Thanks to four head-to-head wins over the Angels, the Ichiros were able to clinch the division and finish with 102 wins and 1,135 runs scored — 4th-most in baseball history, and most since 1894. Did they win the most games this season? Nope, the Boston Red Sox netted 106 Ws thanks to a solid lineup and *cough* good pitching *cough*
Tumblr media
Despite being walked 139 times. Jon Dowd hit for the Triple Crown. Thanks for putting a potential hole in my argument, EA.
One of the Ichiro clones finished with a whopping 70 stolen bases. The team as a whole combined for 452 stolen bases while being caught 101 times. That’s a whopping 82% success rate as a TEAM. These were the next teams that came close.
Tumblr media
Two Ichiros had more 200 hits while everyone in the starting lineup hit more than 170. We also achieved two of the five team goals. The two realistic goals!
Tumblr media
ONE OF THEM ALSO WON AMERICAN LEAGUE MVP!
Tumblr media
PLAYOFFS, BABY! My only rule going into this is that all the elimination games will be a live gameplay sim.
ALDS: Ichiros vs. Yankees
Off-screen computer simulations:
Game 1: Yankees 13, Ichiros 11
Game 2: Yankees 14, Ichiros 11
On-screen simulations:
Game 3: Ichiros 14, Yankees 5
Game 4: Ichiros 12, Yankees 3
Game 5: Ichiros 11, Yankees 3
So, something of importance that I should note: there are two types of simulations in this game. There is the quick sim that doesn’t show any gameplay, and then there is the longer simulation that showcases gameplay. Now, the quick sim was for most of the regular season and held true to the ratings and what each player would theoretically do. However, the gameplay sims showcase a different element of all of these things. You get to see just how much chaos this team can cause. I also think this sim does a better job of highlighting just how many runs a team full of Ichiros can score on offense and prevent on defense. This is the main difference between the two types of simulations.
ALDS: Ichiros vs. Red Sox
This is going to be the toughest challenge yet for the Ichiros. Not only will they have to face the best-pitching team in the league, they also have to go up against some fearsome left-handed hitters. Since all the Ichiros throw right-handed, there is no way to neutralize David Ortiz, Johnny Damon or Trot Nixon.
Tumblr media
Game 1: Ichiros 12, Red Sox 6
The Ichiros went to town on Curt Schilling in spurts and it got so bad that Bronson Arroyo had to relieve him in the 3rd inning. You hate to see it.
Game 2: Ichiros 18, Red Sox 2
Going up against David Wells was easy pickings for the Ichiros, who absolutely destroy left-handed pitching. The dimensions of Fenway are also advantageous to the Ichiros. Normal flyouts in other parks turn into off the wall doubles/triples.
David Wells only lasted 5 outs. These Ichiros do a great job getting out on these hot starts and then jumping all over the relief pitching. It’s a magical strategy.
Game 3: Ichiros 6, Red Sox 5
After the Sox take a 5-0 lead by the 3rd inning, the Ichiros face their first test of adversity in the series, but answer back with three runs in the 3rd and three more in the 6th. The Ichiros leaned on their mediocre pitching and great defense to move one win away from the World Series.
Game 4: Ichiros 13, Red Sox 8
After scoring EIGHT runs in the third inning, the Red Sox give up 13 unanswered runs thanks to Ichiro, Ichiro and Ichiro. The Ichiros hit three home runs and six triples to keep putting pressure on the Red Sox pitching staff. Honestly, if Boston hadn’t won the World Series in 2004, I would think this was some part of a curse or something.
This was an unreal fight from the Ichiros. It’s a shame we never got to see them face off against knuckleball god Tim Wakefield. But now the Ichiros are heading to the World Series to face off against. Jon Dowd and the Giants. THIS IS OCTOBER!
World Series: Ichiros vs. Giants
Here we go. A team full of Ichiros vs. Jon Dowd and friends. Statistically speaking, the Yankees and Red Sox were both better opponents, but the Giants are still ranked higher than the Mariners because of our team’s lack of pitching. However, the Giants are one of the slowest teams in the league. It’ll be interesting to see how this dynamic plays out.
Game 1: Ichiros 6, Giants 2
Jon Dowd went 0-4. YOU LOVE TO SEE IT.
Game 2: Ichiros 17, Giants 6
A Jon Dowd grand slam couldn’t stop the Ichiro task force, which hit 5 home runs.
Game 3: Ichiros 12, Giants 1
A Jon Dowd solo home run was nowhere close to enough to stop the flurry. I never thought I would say this, but get Jon Dowd some help!
Game 4: Ichiros 9, Giants 3
GO CRAZY SEATTLE! THE ICHIRO CLONES HAVE TAKEN HOME THE WORLD SERIES TITLE!
Tumblr media
ABSOLUTE PLAYOFF DOMINATION!
Tumblr media
Offseason
Because we won the World Series, I have been rewarded with a team budget increase of 3.6 million dollars. However, since I put every create-a-player on a one-year contract, nearly the entire team is asking for a new deal.
Tumblr media
I really didn’t think this through. Let’s see if I can re-sign them all.
DYNASTY TIME BABY! We made it to spring training with all of the Ichiros intact. On that note, we will end our simulation. We’ve had a hell of a run, but now it’s time to conclude and debrief.
Conclusion
When we used the non-gameplay simulation, the game stayed true to the stats that Ichiro was capable of producing. Those stats added up and allowed us to win dependently. Now, the hitting side sounds believable to a sense. When you duplicate someone that possessed a league-leading .372 batting average, you’re in for a lot of baserunners and scoring opportunities.
The shakiest part of the non-gameplay simulation has to be the pitching. A team of Ichiros giving up only five runs a game doesn’t sound that believable to me, especially when other teams full of actual pitchers in the game gave up more runs. It’s hard to tell whether the defensive prowess of the Ichiros was accounted for in these simulations.
The gameplay simulations were a different story, however, as you can see just how dominant the Ichiro squad was on offense and defense. On offense, the Ichiros barely struck out and every single ball put in play looked like it could be a hit. The Ichiros preyed on slow outfielders like Jon Dowd and middle-tier arms like Johnny Damon. Using these two advantages, the Ichiro squad could turn doubles into triples whenever they wanted. Every time an Ichiro walked, a steal seemed imminent and there was little you could do to stop it.
Now, watching Ichiro pitch in real-time made me nervous, but he does just enough to mitigate the damage. When the pitchers were in a jam, they would often get bailed out by the amazing speed and glove of an Ichiro. It’s nice to have someone with 10 career gold gloves at every position on the field.
The gameplay sims took everything that Ichiro was good at on paper and amplified them to a point where they looked absolutely unbeatable. When they faced elimination against the Yankees, I switched gameplay simulations to “document the end” but I realized that these sims make the Ichiros seem like gods. I do wish that I had done gameplay simulations of the entire playoffs so that those two Yankees losses wouldn’t be there, but at least I switched over before it was too late.
If I had done real gameplay simulations for all 162 games in the regular season, I think that the Ichiros could have won 140+ games easily. There was no way I was going to do that because that would be way too much time put into this project. I barely watch real baseball right now, you think I was going to watch weeks of virtual baseball? Hell no.
The regular season simulation allowed us to make the playoffs and that’s all that mattered to me at the end of the day. The chance to have a chance.
Ichiro is one of the greatest players in baseball history, but he’s overshadowed by most video games he’s featured in. In MVP Baseball there’s Jon Dowd, in Backyard Baseball there’s Pablo Sanchez and Pete Wheeler. In The Bigs, it was basically every power hitter in the game.
He never was a cover athlete for MVP Baseball, Triple Play Baseball, MLB 2K, The Bigs, or MLB: The Show. He never got the recognition he deserved for being OP in multiple video games. So the next time you hear MVP Baseball 2005 and someone mentioning Jon Dowd, bring up Ichiro. Bring up this article that I spent way too much on to show a video game legend the respect he deserves.
Finally, as a reward for making it through this article, here is a wholesome picture of Ichiro smiling.

They Say I Do

They Say I Do
Ivan Ortiz x Reader
Y/N grinned as she walked with Hana and Kenny, who were arguing about who was going to be her person-of-honor. She didn’t know who to choose, because they were both her best friends and had been since she joined the team. She had been a part of the intelligence branch of the undercover unit, which is where she met her fiancé, before getting transferred.
She jumped in front of them with a laugh, walking backwards, “Ladies! Ladies! You are both pretty!” She waved her hands, playful trying to calm them. “I can’t pick from the two of you, so I’d like for you both to be my persons-of-honor.”
They shared a wide grin, only to tackle Y/N into a group hug. “Yes, we will be your persons-of-honor!”
Kenny pushed Hana, shouting, “Dibs on Bachelorette party!”
She shoved him back, “We have to plan it together!”
Y/N shook her head as she laughed. “I am just going to walk away from this argument and let you both handle it.” She pushed her way into their office, ready to get started.
Jess and an unknown man were talking at the head of the table. The unknown man was facing away from Y/N, so she wasn’t able to get a good look at him but he invoked a familiar feeling in her gut.
Jess looked over the man’s shoulder, noticing Y/N standing behind them. “Y/N, I would like you to meet Ivan. He is going to be working with us while Clinton is away on assignment.”
She gasped, feeling mild betrayal. “You didn’t tell me that you were being transferred.” She dropped her bag to run to him.
He laughed, wrapping his arms around her waist. “I wanted to surprise you, love.”
Jess looked between them. “Is something going on between you two?”
Y/N blushed, pulling away from Ivan. “Ivan and I are engaged, sir. We’ve been together since his military days.”
Jess nodded, “Is there going to be any issues with you both working together?”
The couple looked between each other and shook their heads no. “We will be keeping things professional, sir.” Ivan stated, moving away from Y/N to keep a professional distance.
Y/N nodded, becoming serious. “You won’t have to worry, Jess.”
He nodded, moving away from the couple.
6 months later…
Y/N sat at her vanity, trying to cover the bruise forming on her cheek. Just my luck that I would get beat up three days before my wedding. She thought as she tried to hold back tears. She hadn’t meant to get her ass handed to her, but the unsub was so much bigger than she is. And she couldn’t help being the first to encounter him. Ivan had been right behind him, so she hadn’t been beaten too badly.
Hana walked up behind her, warmth on her face. “I don’t think that anyone will notice the bruise, especially with your veil and the amount of concealer you’ve applied.” She tried to joke in hopes of making her friend smile.
Y/N sighed, trying to hold back tears. “Do you think I should postpone the wedding until the bruise goes away?”
Hana gasped, forcing to turn towards her. “Don’t be silly, Y/N. You are a kickass federal agent and your bruises show everyone how strong you are.”
Y/N nodded, letting Hana’s words sink in. “You are right.” She stands up, grabbing her veil from the stand next to her vanity. She held it out of Hana to take. “Will you help me with this?”
Hana smiled, silently taking it from her. She gently tucked into Y/N hair, adjusting it so that it fell nicely around her face. Hana stepped back to admire her friend, tears welling up in her eyes. “You look so beautiful.” her voice cracked.
“Aww, Hana.” Y/N wrapped her arms around her, pulling her for a tight hug.
And that is how Kenny found them. “I can’t believe that you are having a hugging fest without me.” He pouted, faking a look of betrayal.
The girls laughed, pulling away just enough to squeeze him into a group hug. The threesome (not a sexual threesome you pervs!) held each other and laughed for several seconds before pulling away.
“I think that it is time to get the show on the road and get married.” Y/N declared, confidence swelling in her chest.
Kenny held out his arm, ready to walk her down the aisle. “I’m ready whenever you are, Y/N.” Over the last 6 months, Y/N had made the decision to have him walk her down the aisle because her parents refused to attend the wedding.
Hana picked up the brides flower arrangement and passed it over to Y/N. “Can’t forget these!”
Y/N smiled, taking the flowers. Nothing was said after that. Hana walked ahead of her, head held high with a big grin. Kenny squeezed her arm, wanting to show her how happy he is.
The music changed as Hana made it to the end of the aisle, causing Y/N’s breath to catch in her throat. Kenny had to keep her from running down the aisle to Ivan, who was tearing up at the sight of her. After Kenny passed her to Ivan, things went quickly. Both Ivan and Y/N would agree that it felt like they were the only two in the room.
After the pastor finished and they kissed, Ivan swept Y/N off her feet and almost ran down the aisle. Y/N laughed loudly as they passed all of their guests.
He set her down just outside the chapel, “I can’t believe that we are finally married, Mrs. Ortiz.” He grinned down at her, cupping her face.
“It’s about time, Mr. Ortiz.” She smirked, pressing herself to him.
With a wide grin, Ivan leaned down and kissed her...

Jeremias Ponce (right) punishes Lewis Ritson. Photo by Mark Robinson/ Matchroom Boxing 14 Jun by Doug Fischer JEREMIAS PONCE Doug hi, That Saturday DAZN card rocked. I enjoyed seeing some new talent, Cyrus Pattinson and Sol Dacres both look to be worth following and seeing Alen Babic do his thing is always fun (for as long as that is going to last). But that Jeremias Ponce take down of Lewis Ritson is what got me writing in. What a war. I knew nothing about Ponce going into this but am 100% a fan from now forward. What a beast!  In round 1 the announcers were doubting if he could maintain the torrid pace. In round ten he still was, and with quality. I’d love to see him in with any of the top guys though if he gets his IBF shot against Josh Taylor I think the streak ends there. What do you think about his place in the unbelievably stacked 140-lb. division? Can you tell us any more about him? Hope this finds you well. Cheers. – Alec Thanks for sharing your thoughts on DAZN’s boxing offering from England on Saturday and the eye-opening performance from Ponce. If you want to know more about the rugged Argentine, please read Diego Morilla’s pre-fight feature on his countryman: https://www.ringtv.com/622906-unbeaten-jeremias-ponce-looks-to-make-a-statement-vs-lewis-ritson-in-ibf-elimination-bout/ I think Ponce is a welcome addition to the loaded junior welterweight division, but I don’t think he’s at all ready for the undisputed Ring champ, Josh Taylor, and as far as his place among the top 140-pounders, I think he’s just outside of the top 10. As impressive as he was against Ritson, I doubt the Ring Ratings Panel will suggest that he displace any of the lower-top-10 rated junior welterweights (Nos. 8-10 are Subriel Matias, Shohjahon Ergashev, and Robert Easter Jr.). Based on the discourse I’ve seen from the panel so far, they’re more inclined to enter Jose Pedraza, who stopped unbeaten (21-0) Julian Rodriguez in eight rounds, on Saturday on the Stevenson-Nakathila undercard. (T)hat Jeremias Ponce take down of Lewis Ritson is what got me writing in. What a war. I thought it was a darn good scrap, but I wouldn’t call it a “war” – the action wasn’t two-sided enough in my opinion – from where I was sitting Ponce was in command during most of the fight, although Ritson did hang tough for as long as he could and certainly had his moments. I knew nothing about Ponce going into this but am 100% a fan from now forward. What a beast! The 24-year-old “winger” (an old-school label for fighter’s who loop most of their long-range power punches) will make for action fights, especially when he’s matched with fellow aggressors. A savvy and battle-tested stick-and-mover like Taylor (or Viktor Postol or Easter) will likely outclass Ponce, who is stiff in his upper-body, flat-footed, and likes to work behind a high “earmuff” guard. However, he’s game as fighter’s get, and I like his concentrated body attack and mean uppercuts that he rips when he’s in close. I don’t see many junior welterweights having an easy time with him. I’d love to see him swap punches with Matias or Ivan Baranchyk. In round 1 the announcers were doubting if he could maintain the torrid pace. In round ten he still was, and with quality. Ponce had the same mojo that Ritson did at lightweight, especially during the Newcastle native’s British title run from 2017-2018. I think the two-fisted volume-punching pressure-fighting version of Ritson that stopped Robbie Barrett, Joe Murray, Scott Cardle and Paul Murray in succession would have fared better vs. Ponce than the dude trying jab and pick his shots out of a Philly Shell defensive posture. CHAVEZ VS. GATTI, HEARNS VS. MUGABI Hey Dougie, Curious about your picks for two mythical match-ups that could have actually happened… A junior middleweight bout between a prime Thomas Hearns and rising contender John Mugabi in 1985. A welterweight bout between the always vulnerable Arturo Gatti and a nearly washed JC Chavez in 2000. In my opinion, both bouts could go either way, and I imagine both fights would be thrillers for as long as they lasted. I think a peak Hearns avoids a Barkley-esque upset by boxing smartly against the hard-hitting Mugabi, likely forcing a mid-to-late rounds stoppage. Hearns W TKO 9. And I see Gatti-Chavez resembling Duran-Barkley and Morales-Maidana, bouts in which the old warriors had the perfect opponents to show enough flashes of their former glory to make it close on the cards. Chavez W SD 12. I look forward to your takes. Thanks. – Bag’A’Chips I think peak Hitman blasts Mugabi out in one or two rounds. The Beast, who squared up right in front of his opponents and loaded up with every shot, was tailor-made for The Motor City Cobra’s piston-jab and straight-right bomb. All Hearns would need to do is keep his composure and box from a distance. As long as he didn’t get overzealous in search of the KO and rush it, there’s no way Mugabi could last with him or reach his chin.
Tumblr media
Chavez circa 1990, on his way to winning more than 80 consecutive fights. Photo by THE RING I can also see the 2000 version of Chavez prevailing over the 2000 version of Gatti like Duran over The Blade or losing a close decision the way El Terrible did vs. Chino. At first, I was thinking Gatti would absolutely destroy Chavez, who I considered finished after his second loss to Oscar De La Hoya in 1998. The sluggish version that dropped a 10-rounder to Wily Wise in 1999 would have been beaten down to late stoppage by Gatti’s heavy haymakers. But then I remembered that Chavez regained a semblance of his old form when he challenged Kostya Tszyu for the WBC 140-pound belt in 2000. He was painfully slow and had to resort to blatant low blows vs. King Kostya, but his vintage stance and technique was almost there… enough at least for him to have a few moments vs. a future hall of famer in his prime. Tszyu patiently picked Chavez apart until his corner rescued him in Round 6, but the Russian-Aussie was so much sharper than Gatti ever was, especially in 2000. I know Gatti would be motivated like never before to face a legend like Chavez, but he couldn’t help but loop and telegraph his big shots to the body and head. I think Chavez would do a much better job of blocking (and countering) Gatti’s bombs (which could do as much damage as Tszyu’s sharp shots) than he did evading Kostya’s well-timed and quick one-twos down the pike. I’d forgotten how much those back-to-back losses to Ivan Robinson in 1998 had messed with Gatti’s mojo. He really didn’t regain it until he was paired with Buddy McGirt following the Oscar De La Hoya drubbing in 2001, and even then, it took a few fights (including the loss to Micky Ward that kicked off their classic trilogy). So, I go back and forth with this one, but I guess I’ll go with the all-time great like you did. There wasn’t much of the real JC Superstar left in 2000, but whatever he could summon (and I figure Gatti’s reputation would get him to train hard) would probably be enough to get by the version of Thunder that was troubled a little bit (and bled A LOT) vs. the pesky Baby Joe Hutchinson. HARDEST HITTER Hi Dougie, Just got a brief question: Who is the hardest p4p puncher – Gennady Golovkin at his peak, Naoya Inoue or Artur Beterbiev? And a bit longer MMs: Alexander Povetkin vs. Chris Byrd (prime for prime), David Tua Luis Ortiz vs. David Tua Dillian Whyte vs. Chris Byrd, David Tua Deontay Wilder vs. David Tua, Chris Byrd Thanks for all your useful & entertaining work. – Jose Thanks for the kind words, Jose. Your Mythical Matchups: Alexander Povetkin vs. Chris Byrd (prime for prime), David Tua – Byrd wins a close, maybe majority decision (provided the fight is on neutral ground); Tua, trailing badly on the official cards, scores a come-from-behind late TKO. Luis Ortiz vs. David Tua – TuaMan by mid-to-late TKO. Dillian Whyte vs. Chris Byrd, David Tua – Byrd by close UD, Tua by mid-to-late KO Deontay Wilder vs. David Tua, Chris Byrd – Tua by early KO; Byrd frustrates and outclasses Wilder for much of the bout but at some point The Bronze Bomber clips his wings with a big, wild right hand.
Tumblr media
The Monster connects vs. Jason Moloney Who is the hardest p4p puncher – Gennady Golovkin at his peak, Naoya Inoue or Artur Beterbiev? Inoue by a significant margin in my opinion. GGG and Beterbiev are physically stronger (at their weight classes than Inoue is at 118) and more durable, but the Japanese star is a more talented overall athlete with quicker hands and feet, better timing/reflexes and sharper punching technique, which adds to more P4P “pop” to his power shots. THUNDER AND THE IBHOF I’ve heard a lot of people say Arturo Gatti doesn’t belong in the HOF. I think he does, given his resume (not ATG-status, but it’s called The Hall of Fame, not the Hall of All-Time Greats) and his willingness to go where 99% of us wouldn’t dare to venture. Now detractors will say “There are better guys than Gatti NOT in”, but that doesn’t mean Arturo Gatti shouldn’t be in. Do you think Gatti belongs in the HOF? What’s your line of thought if you don’t think so? Also, who are some of those guys with better careers than Thunder that you believe DO belong in the HOF? – Gregory K. If you’re just going on strength of resume (especially if you mainly credit victories) there are too many to mention, Greg, but you make a good points about Gatti’s worthiness, and I’ve never heard anyone break it down as you did with this simple line: “…but it’s called The Hall of Fame, not the Hall of All-Time Greats.” That’s such a good point. Being an attraction, a crowd-pleaser, someone who made hardcore fans out of casuals is a factor in the voting even though purists are against it. Gatti didn’t get my vote when his name first appeared on the IBHOF ballot because I believed there were more deserving candidates that year, but he was so beloved that he made it in (posthumously) on his first year of eligibility. Once he was in, I didn’t bitch about it too much (as some of my peers did). Gatti’s got a solid resume. Yes, he was outclassed by De La Hoya and Floyd Mayweather Jr., but there’s shouldn’t be any shame in losing to those two. He’s got solid victories, including James Leija, Leo Dorin, Tracy Patterson, Gabe Ruelas and Gianluca Branco.
Tumblr media
The final chapter between Gatti and Ward. However, I think his slugfests – win or lose – are what put him over the top. There are too many to mention, but his modern-classic trilogy with Micky Ward can’t be ignored or downplayed IMO. And four of his ring battles were deemed the Fight of the Year by Ring Magazine: vs. Ruelas (1997), Ivan Robinson (1998), and Ward (2002 and 2003). Being in four Ring fights of the year ties him with Joe Frazier and George Foreman (that’s all-time great company right there). Only Carmen Basilio (who was in five consecutive fights of the year) and Muhammad Ali who was in SIX fights of the year, according to The Ring, are ahead of Gatti in that department.   Email Fischer at . I was wondering if you could please write an imagine where the reader is an Indian American, who is around 26 and she is Ivan and Hanna’s neighbor. She is a recruiter . She’s met the team several times when she’s had use useful information for hate crimes that were committed against Indians . Ivan and the reader have feelings for each other , she even teaches him to how to cook Indian food . But with time she starts to grow distant and avoids him , because she’s afraid her family won’t approve of him which doesn’t turn out to be the case . Ivan decides to confront the reader at the Indian party that her parents are hosting. She invites the entire team . Ivan tells the reader how much he loves her and doesn’t fail to tell her how beautiful she looks especially in that Sari or ghagra .

A/N: I hope everyone enjoys my work ! If you like it please comment like and reblog it means a lot to see interactions on my work :)
Ivan Ortiz X Indian Reader
Working as a FBI recutrier was a dream of yours for as long as you can remember.
Being able to give back to your community was a dream of yours. Waking up in the morning you felt a sense of pride for what you did.
Doing your job also meant you had a lot of perks you enjoyed. Which one was meeting a lot of good people and working with them.
You worked with a lot of departments in the FBI but you did a lot of work with the most wanted division.
When there were problems in the community or you just heard about useful information about hate crimes against Indians you went to them with it. They were always a big help.
They were kind of your favorite to work with. Everyone was always super nice and you also got to see ortiz a lot.
You always had a crush on him from the moment you meant him. You were like dang, he was cute.
You and Ortiz began growing closer outside of work even more  when you realized he started becoming your neighbor.
Hanna lived their first and the two of you were besties. You guys would have movie nights and even ride the bus to work in the morning together.
Then when Ivan moved in that’s when things between the two of you began to change.
You would hang out with him more dinner’s between the three of you.
Then you didn’t even realize when things changed for the better between the two of you because suddenly he was coming over for dinner with just the two of you.
You guys would talk about anything and everything. Whenever he was having a rough day he would come over and talk about it with you.
Sometimes to even clear his head you guys would go on walks around the city together. New York is Magical.
Nights when he was out on a call he would send you a text either saying good night or just talking about his day.
It always meant a lot between the two of you. You could probably say there wasn’t a day when the two of you weren’t talking to each other.
It was a Friday night and the two of you were currently chilling in your apartment. You were making your favorite Indian dish teaching Ivan how to make it. Well he sure was trying his hardest.
“Come on Ivan not like that your doing it wrong” You said laughing at him
“How am I possibly doing this wrong i’m doing it the same exact way you are “ He said
“I don’t know what planet you are on but that is not what I am doing” You said laughing.
“Whatever I’m done I’ll watch you” He said laughing at you.
You continued to keep making dinner and Ivan sat and watched you. There was music playing in the background. It was romantic with out you meaning to.
When you were done cooking the two of you sat down at the table and began eating.
“Mm this is amazing your such a good cook” He said
The comment made you blush and smile
“Thank you it means a lot” You said
“So how’s work going what’s it been like out there” You asked him
“It's good I mean things are crazy but it’s always like makes me enjoy moments like these more” Ivan said
“Same these mean a lot to me too” You said to him.
After dinner the two of you cleaned up and sat on the couch and watched a movie together.
The two of you had ended up falling asleep on the couch together.  You were woken up  when his phone went off.
“Mmm what’s going on?” You asked, sitting up.
“Sorry, that's me gotta go” Ivan said.
The two of you got up and walked into the kitchen for something to drink. You passed him a water taking one for yourself too.
“So got any plans today” He asked
It was Saturday  so you had off work for the day.
“Yeah I’m going to meet my parents for the day” you said
“Oh sounds like fun “ Ivan said
“I guess they can a little hard sometimes but you know” You said
“There family” Ivan said
“Exactly” You said
“Well you have fun I gotta go see you later” Ivan said kissing the top of your head before he started running out.
You went into your room and took a shower. Getting ready for the day and about an hour later you were ready to head out.
About 20 minutes after  heading out you were about your parents' house. You didn’t even knock and just headed in. Your mom was in the kitchen and your dad was watching tv.
“Hey dad how’s it going” You asked
“Good sweetheart we missed you around here” He said
You got up and kissed the top of his head
“I missed you too” You said heading into the kitchen.
Your mom was making enough food for an army, probably getting food ready for the rest of the family.
“Hey Mama how’s it going” You asked
“Good sweetheart I missed you” She said
“So tell me how’s things been going with you” She asked
“Good work has been going really good and me and Ivan had been going good with him” You said
“I see your still hanging around that boy” Your mom asked
“What’s wrong with him he’s a good guy and I was thinking of inviting him and the team to the party next weekend” You said
“Be careful with that one just watch yourself” Your mom said
“OKayyy he’s a good guy mom” You said taking a bite of food then heading back into the living room to sit with your dad.
You decided to say screw it and invite the team to the party. So you pulled out your phone and texted Ivan asking him how the case was going.
He said it was good they were away at Texas that it was a rough case. You asked if wanted to go to a party next week and the rest of the team they were invited.
A little bit later probably busy he said that they were all in.  There was just something that was nagging you though.
It was what your mom said that you worried they wouldn’t approve of the relationship between the two of you.
So you decided to keep things casual between the two of you. I mean he if were interested he would have a made a mood right.
You and your parents were close and you didn’t want to upset them and have them not approve.
The rest of the weekend went by fast. You hung out with your family and had a good time with them. You were grateful you all were so close.
It was the middle of the week now and you were keeping your distance with Ivan. He was taking notice as well.
He always asked you what was up or what was going on but you just kept things quiet.
You avoided him the hallway and and at work only talking to him when it was necessary. He def noticed because he always had this hurt look on his face. This time tonight you were unsuccessful in avoiding him.
“Hey Y/N wait up” Ivan yelled.
“Hey what’s up” You asked
“You tell me what’s going on” Ivan asked
“Nothing I’m sorry I’ve just been so busy but your still coming this weekend right” You asked
“Yeah I am I’m excited can’t wait” Ivan said.
“Good me too but I really gotta go so I’ll see you later” You said rushing into your apartment.
That hurt a lot but you knew it was best if you just keep distance between the two of you.
The rest of the week went by fast. You were excited and nervous for the party. There were lot’s of butterflies and nerves.
The day of it came and you were getting dressed at your mom’s house. You were wearing your traditional wear.
You always felt so beautiful when ever you wore it. Feeling a true connection to your roots. It’s when you felt more confident than ever.
“Ladies we gotta go” Your dad yelled
“Were coming stop rushing us” Your mom yelled.
“You look so beautiful sweetheart” Your mom said to you
“Thank you so do you mom” You said
The two of you put your final touches on then headed down the stairs.
“Wow look at my girls so beautiful” Your dad said
“Thank you dad” You said kissing him on the cheek.
You guys all headed out to the venue of the party. It was about 30 minutes away. You  guys were the first to arrive.
You all helped set up the party before the guest arrived. Putting out decorations and food.
Within the hour the party was going and guest were arriving. It was actually fun. The most wanted team along with Ivan showed up.
You went over and greeted them.
“Hey guys thank you for coming” You said hugging each of them
“Thank you for inviting us this is incredible” Hanna said
“All my parents there is plenty of food and drink so please enjoy yourself” you said
“Thank you” Jess said
Everyone split up and Ivan stayed with you.
“Hey are we good” Ivan asked
“Yea of course we are I’ve just been busy” You said
“It seems like you been avoiding me” Ivan said
“Nah of course I wouldn’t” You said
“Well you look soo beautiful tonight” ivan said
It made you blush and smile
“You look good yourself as well.” You said
“And sense were being honest here I need to tell you something” Ivan said
“Yeah of course” you said
Ivan grabbed your hand and looked you in the eye.
“I love you so much and I always have” Ivan said
You didn’t say nothing just to surprised to say anything just stood there shocked.
“I love you to so much and your right I was avoiding you I just was confused you know” You said
Ivan didn’t say anything just leaned in and kissed you and you kissed him back. Next thing you know the moment was broken up with cheering.
“It’s about time” Crosby yelled
Making you both laugh. You looked over and saw your mom and dad standing there smiling at you.
They walked over and your mom leaned in and whispered to you
“We heard everything he’s a keeper” She said
You hugged her and thanked her.
“Now let’s not ruin this moment let’s celebrate and dance “ Your dad yelled.
Ivan grabbed your hand and the two of you started dancing and the whole party joined. It was truly an amazing night. Something you didn’t expect when it happened but you were glad it did.
You were so lucky to have amazing friends, family and now an amazing boyfriend.

Hi , could you please write an imagine with Ivan Ortiz where the reader is Hanna’s and Ivan’s neighbor. Ivan has feelings for the reader , who is a an accountant in her twenties ( 26 or 27 ) she stumbles upon a fraudulent activity and decides to report it . As a result she gets nearly kidnapped. Hanna and Ivan decides to invite the reader over for dinner . Ivan goes over to her apartment hears something crash knocks on the door . He then hears the reader screaming from help , busts in to the door . He yells for Hanna and tells her to stay with the reader while he tries to chase down the kidnapper . They end up calling their boss Remy Scott , who asks the reader a bunch of questions and she tells him everything she knows . The reader spends the night at Hanna and Ivan’s place . The team decides to work on the case next morning . Ivan calls the reader to see if she’s okay only for not to answer . He goes over to the apartment to find the phone there but not the reader . He tells the team and they help find her. They find the reader barely conscious and with bruises on her body , turns out it was the owner of the company who hired them to kidnap her . Ivan decides to go the hospital to see how she’s doing , tells the reader how he feels . The reader tells him oh so it took for all of this to happen for you to tell me how you feel . Ivan then laughs holds her hand and presses to kiss to it , tells her I don’t think I can bare the idea of losing you .
