The interesting experience of having watched supernatural but not really interacting with the fandom and knowing nothing about the actors or filming of it and the conventions and whatever they post on Twitter or whatever but my dash being suddenly flooded with posts about them. I don't know what's going on ever, and at this point, I don't think I even could wrap my head around everything and become involved in the fandom space. How do you guys keep up? I can't even remember what plotline goes to what season.

I have many thoughts about this lore stream but I'll focus on Madagio first (using they/them for now)

So. Madagio, a literal God that acts like one. What I mean with this is that we saw just how different their fancy speech patterns and polite passive-aggressiveness is from Fit's rude talk.

We saw how Madagio acts in front of one of the lost souls of 2b2t.

And what I saw was a God being amused by a mortal.

Madagio felt so much like they were observing Fit's every move. It felt like someone observing an exotic animal in its natural habitat, Madagio was looking for someone so broken it could be of use to them, and they found the perfect specimen.

And the cats as an extension of their body was the perfect touch of surrealism we needed, it just shows how weird and unhuman their thinking and acting is, are those cats a clone of themselves? Puppets? Real or mere illusions?

And they have been sending Fit these cats for a while, how long had Madagio been observing him during and after Quesadilla?

I cant wait to see the extended of Madagio's powers, if they said they can go help Fit, just how powerful are they?

the more i see of the top streamers who do irl stuff and the sheer absence of knowledge outside of what they do online is genuinely staggering

i think just the other day i watched a clip of some guy not knowing how boiling water works, trying to use bottled water, then has to be convinced that tap water is boiled to kill whatever shit might be in it, and then goes "ok but how do we know when the water is boiling" like, what. how do you not know how water boils that's literally like, 2nd or 3rd grade knowledge.

that combined with the sheer amount of entirely playing videos from youtube in-stream with no commentary and even leaving while they play like it's dangling keys in front of their audience to keep views rolling makes me convinced that a good 70% of the top streamers are only streamers cause it's easy and people like to laugh at them being stupid

YEAH LITERALLY. inital conflict is literally dean being angry at sam for trying to move on and heal which is just so intensely unlikeable and for some reason i was shocked by it and it made me genuinely dislike him. to me dean is at his most awful in s8..... like he's not. he's definitely not. gadreel possession in s9 and like most of s9/10 with the mark is much worse than anything he does in s8 and killing amy in s7 was sooo awful too. but dean is just so intensely a dick in s8 and i was so angry with him and not even in a fun way. like in s9/10 he is AWFUL but i enjoyed the drama. i didnt even enjoy the interpersonal drama in s8. which is when you know something is wrong

then again. im probably too harsh on it and am basing it off memories of sitting through the first half because i LOVE the trials and sacrifice and the great escapist so so much. and i love kevin <3 he's s8 right. but. to me s8 will always be the worst season. maybe i just hate what it brings to the shows canon. sam leaving dean for a girl and a dog (which is NOT EVEN WHAT HAPPENED... and if it WAS it wouldve been justified.... id support sam even if i thought he abandoned dean unprovoked idc.....) is constantly brought back like the worst of his sins even as late as like. s11. SHUT UP. first half of s8 is just upsetting for sam reasons and not in a fun way
