because really, one comment saying one thing you liked it isn't a lot to ask. not compared to, say, a series with chapters that have a 3k word count, published twice a week.

saying like, "omg i loved how (character) did (literally anything)" takes one minute out of your day, but can completely make a writers. it even made me write an entire chapter in half the time - effectively giving ALL readers MORE to read SOONER.

key smashes and emojis, reaction pics in reblogs, a fleeting thought of how reading it made you feel in the tags. these things take measly moments of your time. less time than it took you to read the fic in the first place.
