What. Were. You. Thinking...

You never wanted a party, not really. It wasn't your scene - facing up to Yuhyun or not - you didn't want it.

You paced back and fourth as you waited by the front door for Mia to hurry her ass up. You live only ten minutes away.....what's the hold up?

I'm suffering here....

"I locked all the doors upstairs." Yeonjun came down from the upper level. "I only had to kick one couple out."

You made a face of disgust. "Why are teenagers animals." You mumbled more to yourself.

"You okay?" He asked with a sweet smile.

"I've been better." You took a deep breath.

"Why don't you let lose a little. I'll be your designated security."

"You mean you want me to drink?"

"Just have fun (Y/N)." He tilted your head up leaning close.

"You're not gonna drink?"

"Probably not a lot....I want to keep an eye on things." You smiled, you really didn't deserve him. "You stay here, I want to find out more information to make sure there isn't anymore surprises." He rolled his eye pulling out his phone. "Just a quick call."

"Okay." You smiled watching him go outside.

You sat down on the stairs, taking a deep breath. You'll just clean up everything in the morning....it will be okay. What if something gets broken? Jeez.....why does that bitch want to ruin your life? You can't break down....not because of her. You won't.

Should you drink? That first night you went to Soobin's party was the first you ever even tried alcohol. You didn't see the fascination but maybe you needed more to understand the way an adolescence brain works.

"Alright fuck it." You got up and made your way to the kitchen.

"Hey Yeonjun's girl....want a shot?" Some guy asked as a group held little cups. Maybe shots were asking too much, stick to the light stuff.

"I probably shouldn't.....I need to wait until Yeonjun gets back." You said trying to hide your nervous tick.

"Come on.....just one." He begged. "You cant not drink at your own party." Yup....YOUR party. Huh?

"Okay." You didn't need much convincing as the kitchen was already a mess, causing you to panic.

Just relax...just relax...just relax.

You took the little shot size of a red solo cup and downed the drink to avoid spitting it out. The sensation burned down your throat but you already felt more relaxed and decided to take another.

Maybe it will make the night move faster.

So it did....

"Mia, you're here!" You yelled as soon as she entered through your door with Soobin.

"I'm sorry, we were at dinner." She looked around. "This place is definitely more hyped than I thought." She shook her head as the place was flooded with people dancing.

"Well, h-have fun because my parents are gonna kill me." You slurred.

"They won't find out." She reassured as you sipped on your empty cup tricking your mind more than it already was.

"Are you drunk?" Mia's asked looking amused.

"I don't know." You shrugged.

"Where is Yeonjun?" Mia asked looking around some more.

"Getting me another drink."

"Oh god, we came to late." Mia playfully hit Soobin.

"How much did you drink?" She asked looking closer.

"Enough to forget this night ever happened." You confirmed. Five shots down and it probably still wasn't enough.

"Hey." Yeonjun snuck up behind you. His plan was to keep an eye on you so being drunk was definitely not on his radar but he still settled on a slight buzz. You couldn't let him not drink, it wasn't fair for only you to have fun. "You're drink babe."

"I like the sound of that." You blushed taking your drink. You didn't know what he gave you but they all tasted the same by this point.

"Yeonjun, you're letting her get drunk?" Mia asked playfully.

"Yeah, why not? I'm keeping an eye on things."

"Let's make this a night to remember for Yuhyun's sake." Mia said and you held your cup up like a toast.

"We're gonna go get some drinks." Mia smiled pulling Soobin away with him.

"Yeonjun!!!" More of his friends entered and you just smiled next to him.

"Your party is already being talked about all over Twitter." The one with the long hair spoke - who's name still escapes you.

"Cool." You smiled but you know that sober you would disagree.

He sipped on his drink as he grabbed your waist, leading you over closer to the music.

You quickly chugged yours, letting him take control. Every negative thought and feeling was all gone the moment you drowned yourself with alcohol but to top it all off was Yeonjun's soft breath against you taking you farther from reality.

You loved the way he kissed your neck, desperate but soft at the same time - you never wanted him to stop.

If only you could remember it better because next thing you know you felt your mattress underneath you and him kissing you desperately - but what you do remember.....it felt fucking amazing.

He knew you wanted more the farther your hand traveled down and immediately unbuttoned his pants. He grabbed your hand stopping you but never pulled away from your plum lips, taking your breath away. But that didn't stop you as you kept trying to inch your way closer to desperation.

He pulled away, grabbing your hand once again. "We should slow down."

"But I want you."

"Normally I would love hearing you say that but not like this, not in this state.....you need to rest."

"Stay with me?" You asked and he nodded moving in for you to snuggle up into his chest, until you eventually fell asleep.

You weren't convinced once you woke up the next morning of how real the night was or what happened after that. Maybe drinking wasn't the greatest idea.

Your head was pounding and sitting up caused straight nausea that had you running to the bathroom embarrassingly quick. This was the worse feeling you had ever experienced - even more so then that flu you had a few years ago. It was a fucking disaster.

You were even tempted to just go back to bed but the sudden remembrance of last night and the hard hitting fact of the house being trashed.

Ugh...maybe you should of just sent everyone home and let Yuhyun finally win her stupid pity game.

You began your slow moving shuffle down the stairs not able to take the sunlight in. You tried opening your eyes wider, squinting in your attempt to look around at your clean home. Was it a dream?

"Pff, did you see Sunghoon dancing? Was he trying to cause a scene." You heard Mia laughing as you made your way over to the kitchen.

"That was nearly as bad as Beomgyu getting stuck in the dryer."

"That wasn't funny Soobin....it took four of us to get him out.....I was this close to calling the police." You heard more laughter than just two voices.

You stepped in softly like you were trying to sneak your way in but them facing your direction didn't help. "Morning sunshine."

Mia greeted you first as you saw Soobin and Kai smile in your direction. "Morning."

Where was Yeonjun?

"How you feeling?" Mia softly approached.

"Like shit."

"I'm guessing you didn't drink a glass of water before bed, that usually helps ease the hangover."

"I don't even remember half the night." You slugged your way over to the kitchen table. "Thank you guys for cleaning up."

"No problem (Y/N)." She smiled. "Yeonjun did most of it actually - we woke up not that long ago."

"Where is he?"

"He went on a coffee run....he should be back- oh right on time."

"They didn't have your crème brûlée latte."

"You can't even do me one favor." Mia teased causing him to glare but quickly blushed seeing you. "Umm thanks Yeonjun, we're gonna finish up the back yard." Mia and the guys left you and Yeonjun alone.

"How you feeling?" He asked handing you your ice caramel latte.

"Been better." You put on a shy smile.

"Once you eat something, you'll feel better." He pushed over the box of donuts.

"Are you guys like that experienced in drinking that you don't get hangovers anymore?" You slightly giggled finally letting him show a smile.

"Maybe?" He slightly smirked but it wasn't his usual worrying you more. "But also we didn't drink nearly as much as you."

"I drank more than you guys?" You asked. What was wrong with you last night?

"You don't remember last night?" You looked down shaking your head.

"I won't be drinking again, that's for sure."

"It's my fault I wanted you to have fun."

"I did, at least I think I did." You smiled and he did as well.

"Eat something, you'll feel better." He got up and opened your back door to talk to the others.

What happened last night?

You were convinced you did more than you remember last night and maybe a fresh shower would clear your head. You feared things were different with Yeonjun because you remember your desperate actions that's for sure but did he act upon them? You wish you knew.

Monday morning, you knew everything would be different. Your party was the talk of social media and even more so the talk of the school once you walked in. If only you remembered most of it.

You just wished everyone would stop staring....

"Hey, what's wrong?" Mia asked as you closed your locker.

"Everyone's staring."

"Because you threw an amazing party."

"Yup, that was all my doing." You said with sarcasm.

"Relax, we're not gonna let Yuhyun pull another stunt like this. Yeonjun is gonna warn her parents."

"Speaking of Yeonjun......did you guys talk about your drunken hookup yet, I couldn't help but notice you are avoiding him." She began leaving you speechless. "I can always tell when he's stealing my boyfriend all weekend."

"I'm not avoiding, technically - I had to work all weekend." You began. "And we didn't hook up hook up." You spoke following her to class.

"Sure you didn't." She said with sarcasm.

Maybe you choose not to remember - at least some of it.

"We didn't- we couldn't have."

No, you can't have.....you remember making out but that was it....wasn't it?

"I remember you two dancing, which turned into a heavy public makeout session and then you two went upstairs and I haven't seen the both of you until the next morning." She arched her eyebrows like she knew you were up to no good.

"That doesn't mean we did anything." You shrug.

"I'm sure this is a good sigh." She smirked moving your hair off your neck.

"What?" You rubbed your neck.

"How do you not notice that." She pulled out a compact hand mirror showing the true evidence of the redish-blue blotches around your neck.

How did you not notice this? You know you wore your hair down most of the time but the markings were clear as day. You don't even remember him doing that. You didn't feel any different other wise.

How drunk were you?

"Wow you really didn't notice, I might have some makeup - let's take our seats."

If you weren't panicking before, you definitely were now.

How were you gonna hide this from your parents? If you didn't have to work all weekend, they definitely would of noticed by now.

"You two got steamy." She said digging through her purse.

"I only remember bits and pieces." She saw the panic in your eyes. "You don't think we...-"

"I don't know, do you feel sore down there." She suggested with her hands.

You felt too embarrassed to even talk about it. "No." You just shrugged timidly. "I remember us making out in my bed but that it." And you desperately reaching for his belt.

"Don't panic....I'm sure you guys didn't - shall we get a pregnancy test?"

"What?" You said louder than you realized.

"Just kidding....I'm sure it's nothing." She handed you powered foundation.

There was absolutely no way.....this is stupid to even debate - you would definitely be sore - basic health class 101. You had nothing to worry about.

"You were so cute last night (Y/N)." Yuhyun held up her phone showing a video of you dancing embarrassingly as the rest of her click laughed.

"You were at my house?" You said, you tone sounding angry to your surprise.

"God no, I don't care if the president is at your house, I would never set foot in that filth." She made a face of disgust.

"You're just jealous that (Y/N) threw a better party than you."

"Did you forget who threw her 'better' party?" She sassed.

"Wait, so you admit you sabotage (Y/N) and Yeonjun's date night for your own pathetic jealously.....wow that's rich."

"(Y/N)'s pathetic." She laughed. "Can't even fight her own battles, her lackey has to do it."

"What battle? I want no part of this stupid battle with you." You said handing back Mia's mirror as class was just about to start.

"You should of thought of that the moment you went out with Yeonjun." She said one last time before turning her back as the teacher began her lecture.

Don't let her bother you. Don't let her bother you. Don't let her bother you.

...

You weren't avoiding Yeonjun....definitely not. Okay maybe a little - you were a bit embarrassed to say the least. What should you do? What happened Friday night? And to make matters worse - that stupid video Yuhyun is spreading.

You already felt you had enough of today that you found yourself excusing yourself to the nurses office until your mother was called to get you. You didn't want it be here.

Once back off at home, you crawled into bed, trying to block out the thoughts flooding your head. Nothing happened.

"Honey, you want me to make you some soup?" Your mother interrupted your inner voice.

"No thank you, I'm just gonna go back to sleep." You said trying to avoid any chit chat. You knew you were probably over reacting but between Yuhyun and Yeonjun.....you didn't want to breakdown.

"Okay I'll just be in my office." You nodded and sleep was what you did. You needed it - that was for sure.

You heard a ding from your phone but choose to ignore it since you didn't feel like leaving your sleepy state. You wanted to just be left alone.

That ding, soon turned into a thug and it took you a second to realize where it was coming from. It was dark already? How long were you napping for?

Another thug sent shivers down your spine.....

You got up moving closer to see where the eerie sound was coming from and by surprise the culprit was nothing but a worried boyfriend, standing outside your window.

"What are you doing here?" You asked in a hushed whisper.

"Looking for you." His voice was soft. "Where were you today?"

"I went home sick." You shrugged.

"You okay?" You nodded. "Can I come up?"

"My mom's home." You pursed your lips worried.

"I'll be quiet." He practically begged.

"Okay." You sighed but more to yourself. So much for avoiding your problems.

You didn't even know how he managed to climb up and crawl through your window but he managed just fine as your acrophobia was acting up.

This was the first time he was seeing your room. Well, second unless you count your drunken mess Friday night.

"So what's up?" You asked, distracting him from viewing your personal possessions.

"Are you avoiding me?" He walked closer to you.

"What? Of course not......I just wasn't feeling good." You said trying not to sound nervous.

"Well, you barely answered my text all weekend."

You had nothing to say. You were caught and you couldn't lie yourself out of this one.

"This is about Friday night." He said as you sat down on your bed ready to pour yourself out.

"I'm sorry." You said and he looked at you confused as he sat down next to you. "I'm just embarrassed because that wasn't me and I don't even remember most of it but I just know I made a fool out of myself and I hate that."

"Everyone does stupid stuff when they're drunk." He grabbed your hand sweetly. "And as far as I'm concerned - you didn't do anything wrong."

"So does that mean we didn't - um...."

His face went blank. "No."

"But I remember-"

"We didn't." He looked at you sweetly. "We got pretty intense but I would never do that when you're drinking."

"Okay-" You felt relief. "Um not that I wouldn't want to I'm just not ready for that yet."

"I know, you don't need to worry."

You leaned in putting your head on his shoulder. You felt stupid - a simple conversation made your anxiety go away. You should have known better.

"I suddenly feel better." You smiled looking at him once again.

"Is that so?" He laughed as you nodded.

"Well, some positive news.....I snuck out of my parents dinner with Yuhyun's parents and I told them that she has been bothering me and my new girlfriend and they said they were going to have a talk with her......- so hopefully things will get better."

"Yeah me too." You sighed. "It's really hard to ignore her when she invites people over to my house."

"We didn't get to finish our date night." He playfully pouted.

"That's right, where were we - when that happened."

He smirked. "I remember." He leaned in bringing his lips towards yours and leaned you back down to your bed.

You felt a sudden déjà vu once he wrapped his hands around your hips and lifting your legs around his. Things got intense to your memory but you only remembered bits and pieces. Was it the same for him?

He leaned down back towards your neck and was quick to pull up. "Are you wearing makeup?" He asked with confusion.

"Yeah." You giggled. "Someone got carried away I guess on Friday. How to hide the evidence."

He smirked again. "Sorry about that."

"But unfortunately.....I don't care." He leaned back down probably marking you some more.

Unfortunately you did care but it felt too amazing to pull away - you just couldn't refuse.

You grabbed his shirt as you drifted farther away from reality. The only thing that made things worse was a simple phone call interrupting the silence, causing him to pull away.

"Aish.....what does he want?" He rolled his eyes but silenced his phone, putting it back in his pocket.

"Who is it."

"Beomgyu.....he can wait." He leaned back down bringing his lips towards yours.

You felt him smoothly crawl his fingers up your shirt leaving goosebumps in its place. "Hate to ruin the moment but my moms home."

"That's okay. I should probably get going anyway." He pulled away leaving you wanting more. "I got homework."

"Hmmm, didn't think you did homework."

"Maybe I'm trying to keep up with you." You rolled your eyes playfully.

"You'll never keep with me." You smirked back.

He made his way to your window. "I guess I'll have to keep my window open for now on."

"Don't get used to it." He crawled out, stepping out onto your roof. "This is harder than it looks."

"Looks very hard." You teased.

"I'll see you tomorrow morning." He spoke before you leaned in once again kissing him one last time for the night. "Goodnight."

"Night." You shut your window after he left.

You think it's true Yuhyun will leave you alone now? Hopefully she learned her lesson on messing with you.

If you knew any better - it worked. Yuhyun hasn't spoken a word to you since Monday. You actually felt the happiest you have since falling for the troubled boy. No obstacles standing in the way. You can finally be with Yeonjun in peace.

"Here, put this on." Mia handed you setting spray. "You won't sweat your makeup off."

"Okay." You mist it over your face.

"And this is my favorite perfume."

"Mia.....I already put the other one on." You whined. It was like playing dress up when you were both 8 years old.

"Your bruises went down."

"Thank god.....I felt like my mother was looking extra suspicious with me lately."

"Well, she needs to get used to that when you have a boyfriend." You looked down avoiding eye contact.

"You still haven't told them?" She continued.

"It's not like I lied. They're barely home for me to even say anything."

"Well, technically you did saying he was only a friend."

"That was before he asked me to be his girlfriend....technically." You sighed. "I'll tell them tomorrow morning."

"Okay so I'm going to give you a present and you have to promise you're not gonna give it back okay."

"Why, what is it?" You asked confused as you finished putting on your dress.

"Is something that might come in handy if not tonight, ever soon." You grew more suspicious as she walked over with her hands behind her back. "Like I said, you can't give it back."

You put your hands out and she dropped the mystery item in your palm. "A condom.....Mia." You tried to give it back.

"I said you can't give it back.....like I said, you guys are going to this very soon because you were ready to give him everything at that party and you need to be prepared."

"I was drunk."

"Yes, which means your subconscious is ready so you're ready."

Your heart was beating faster just thinking about it. "I don't know."

"Yeonjun will be a perfect gentleman......at least he better - or I'll beat his ass."

"Alright, let's get going." You followed her down the stairs as you put the condom in your purse.

You didn't know what to feel to be honest. Maybe you needed to get a grip.

"You girls look so beautiful!!!"

"Thank you Mrs. Han." You blushed as Mia's parents had their camera out.

"Just a few before the boys get here."

"Mom." Mia whined.

"Just a few." She took more pictures.

"Oh look the boys are here....gotta go." The door bell rang as Mia tried to make a run for it.

"Eunji....just a few." Mia's mother warned as she used her real name.

You couldn't help but notice Yeonjun's flushed expression seeing you all dressed up but it was nothing compared to how he looked. You never thought you would love seeing him more in a suit. It fit him well. Soobin looked great as well of course but you couldn't take your eyes off the man who was now placing his hands on your hips respectively as pictures were being snapped.

"Alright, let's go now." Mia rushed and you and Yeonjun got in the back as Mia and Soobin in front.

"You boys look so handsome." Mia said once Soobin took off for the school.

"You look beautiful." Yeonjun whispered next to you causing you to blush.

"Thank you." You whispered back. "You look hot." You gasped immediately realizing you said that out loud causing him to laugh. "Sorry."

"Thank you....I thought I do as well." There it is.

"Who do you think will be the king and queen?" Mia began. "My money is on Yeonjun. But I voted for you of course." She looked towards Soobin.

"Me why?"

"Almost every girl in our school has a crush on you." She began. "(Y/N) do you remember that hot list that was going around in 9th grade?"

"Oh yeah." You rolled your eyes.

"Wasn't Yeonjun number one on that list.....and that was 9th, you look so different now." Mia laughed. "You were on it too Soobin, no worries.....you we're definitely number one in my opinion."

"That was before we were dating." Soobin spoke.

"I still had a thing for you back then....even though you were tiny."

"Kai was tiny." Yeonjun laughed.

"Yeah and now he's taller than all of you." Mia chuckled.

"Hey hey hey....not me."

"No of course not." She grabbed Soobins hand.

"What do you mean I looked different before." Yeonjun brought back up.

"No worries - you blossomed nicely....right (Y/N)." You nodded trying not to cause suspicion.

Your crush on him was intense that year, especially when you sat behind him in geography. You were surprised you passed that class with flying colors with him sitting in front of you - he was a distraction and a half.

"I wish I knew you back then." He spoke next to you.

"You were dating Yuhyun." You arched your eyebrows.

"But I would of broke up with her in heartbeat if I met you." He flirted again causing you to roll your eyes.

"Oh shut up." You laughed.

He grabbed your hand and waited until you got to the school.

"These dances are kind of lame but let's have fun." Mia said as you all walked inside.

"Let's dance." Yeonjun was quick to pull you onto the dance floor as Mia took you purse so her and Soobin could find you a table.

"I don't know how." You giggled as you let him drag you along.

"I'll lead." You can hear his smile and it was cute the way he danced along with his friends who were already on the dance floor. He grabbed your hand to make you join in but you felt out of place. You couldn't hold a rhythm.

"Just relax." He spoke next to you trying to block out the music. He grabbed your hips and help you sway along.

"Whoo!" Mia and Soobin finally joined in and you all danced along to whatever was playing. There was a lot of people here tonight, unless it was just an excuse for hormonal teens to touch each while being supervised.

The night went by much quicker than you originally thought that once the principal stopped the music and grabbed the microphone, the dance was more than half way over.

"Settle down, settle down.....It's time we announce the homecoming king and queen and to share a dance in the middle of the dance floor."

"First the king...-" Everyone wait patiently as he opened the envelope and like the words of Mia....everyone already expected who the winner was. "Choi Yeonjun."

He pursed his lips showing that he truly didn't care for this award, it was just a stupid title in his mind. He walked to the stage nonchalantly and accepted the award with a bow as the crown was placed on his head.

You definitely didn't care for these type of things but you knew one thing for sure - he looked attractive as hell and you wanted him so bad.

"Now for the queen." The principle spoke as Yeonjun waited to the side looking bored. "Kim Yuhyun."

The crowd cheered as she gloated making her way up the stage. Mia boo'd causing your friend group to laugh as well as you.

"The crown don't suit her like it would with you." Mia said next you causing you to roll your eyes.

"I don't care for that." You said as you watched Yuhyun put her hands around Yeonjun in a required slow dance.

You couldn't lie when you say you felt crazy jealous. You know it was a requirement for the king and queen but you hated seeing her all over him with that big devilish smile.

Their dance didn't last long since you could tell it turned into an argument. Maybe it was time to make your stance on who he belonged to - in front of everyone. You didn't know where you found the sudden confidence but you felt it and wanted to take advantage of it.

You walked over to the awkward dance and the look of disgust she gave you almost felt unreal. Like she was already plotting revenge against you. "Excuse me, I would like to dance with my boyfriend."

Yeonjun smirked watching this new found courage unsettle as Yuhyun was ready to spit words back in your face.

"I'd like that." Yeonjun spoke before she could and he was quick to leave her grabbing you by the waist instead and leading you in a passionate slow dance.

"I just want to say that you were so hot back there." He whispered next your ear.

"Well don't get use to it because that was much scarier for me."

"Don't be scared - you're amazing." You rolled your eyes playfully.

"You look hot in your crown." You said looking up and then back down as he shared an annoyed expression.

"Well don't get used to it." He took it off and placed it on the nearest head he knew which was Kai dancing with some cute girl.

"Didn't you win last year as well?" You smirked.

He rolled his eyes playfully. "I really don't care for things....I actually wasn't gonna got this year."

"What made you change your mind?"

"You." He sweet talked you once again but you were getting used to it by this point. Actually - you liked it.

"I swear-" He leaned in bringing your lips towards his in a sweet tender kiss that didn't take long to deepen.

"Hehem." You both looked up seeing a teacher warn you to pull away. "None of that."

Yeonjun nodded and you couldn't stop blushing from your embarrassing encounter. "You want to get a drink?"

He asked and you were quick to nod, getting away from the teacher not taking her eyes off you. "Apparently there is an after party happening tonight.....you guys want to go?"

"Not really." Yeonjun was the first to decline. "Kind of over that." He smirked and you couldn't help but blush. "But I rather go someone else."

"Well my parents will be home soon." You pouted.

"We can go to my house? My parents go to bed really early." You felt butterflies immediately. Yeonjun's house? You haven't even pictured what his house looks like or even his room.

You nodded in response.

"We're heading out." Yeonjun spoke as he grabbed your hand and Mia and Soobin followed. You sat in the back with Mia this time as the boys chatted upfront.

"You going over his house?"

"I guess." You shrugged.

"You still have that condom?" Mia whispered making your stomach drop again.

"Stop. We're not ready for that yet."

"You never know. When your caught up in the moment....anything could happen." She smiled.

You shook your head leaning back into the seat. Once you got to Yeonjun's house Mia was quick to hop in the front seat. "Have fun you two. And take care of my girl Yeonjun."

"You don't need to tell me that." He grabbed your hand and like he said, the house was dark. "I can take you home whenever you like, just let me know."

"I can't, that wouldn't make sense with my parents." You smiled.

"What do you mean?" He asked with a subtle smirk shinning through.

"I told my parents that I'm sleeping over Mia's house."

"Sounds good to me." He smiled and lead you upstairs.

His house was pretty nice as well. You never even thought to ask what his parents did for a living. And to make matters more interesting. There was much more to his room than you originally realized - much more to him personally than you would have learned by a simple conversation.

His room was covered with a huge variety of band posters and records giving his room a grundy vibe all together. "You skateboard?" You asked seeing the different boards hanging on the wall.

"Yeah." He shrugged. "Sorry my room is a mess, I would of cleaned up if I knew you would come." He was quickly grabbing clothes and placing them in his basket.

"Honestly, it doesn't bother me and it's not bad at all." You smiled taking off your jacket and putting it on his computer chair.

"I'll give you some clothes to change into." He pulled off his jacket opening his closet.

He handed you a tshirt and boxers and you couldn't help but notice the strong smell of laundry detergent lingering off. You wondered if his mother did his laundry for him because you were definitely impressed.

You decided to change into the bathroom that was luckily connected to his room. The clothing hung off of you slightly but you still felt comfortable regardless. You opened the door to Yeonjun nothing in his boxers and ready to put a tshirt on. You stomach flipped just seeing him in the process. You immediately remembered the first night you studied together and your little strip game that you probably wouldn't mind playing now. It's funny how he's changing your mind over every little thing.

"You tired yet?" He asked seeing your flustered state.

"A little." You shrugged putting your dress on his chair as well.

"We can put a movie on." He grabbed his playstation controller turning on the tv and putting on some random movie. His bed felt much more comfortable than yours for some reason but maybe it was all in your head from the boy that made it feel complete.

You made yourself comfortable in his bed next to him and he didn't hesitate to cuddle up with you. You felt content. And you knew you wouldn't find yourself falling asleep anytime soon, not in Yeonjun's case - that would be too easy.

You didn't even remember who started it but making out suddenly became your favorite thing. You loved when he kissed you like this. Like you were the only thing that mattered. And the more you've done it, the more intense it got every time. You felt his hand travel up your thigh and up his boxer shorts rubbing softly. He moved up closer, going near your already soaked area. He's had that affect on you lately.

"If I'm making you uncomfortable, you would tell me right?" He softly spoke.

"Hmm." You nodded biting your lip. "I'm not uncomfortable."

He smiled and leaned down kissing your neck, just forming more marks you would need to cover up once again, but at the moment you didn't care. You gyrated along with his hand as he rubbed your sensitive clothed center. It felt amazing without being direct contact but you knew this was where it should stay - you felt ready but not like this, not with his parents nearby.

"Do you want me to make you feel good?" He asked leaning up to look at you.

"What about your parents?" You asked.

"Can you stay quiet?"

"I'll try....I trust you." You said and he kiss you softly.

He leaned back as he pulled down the clean boxers that you borrowed for nothing. You didn't know what he had in mind by your stomach was erupting with butterflies anyway. He leaned back down kissing you once again as you felt him rub down your folds causing your adrenaline to kick in. You never felt anything like this before. You haven't even explored there yourself. You were inexperienced to the nine and you began to realize what you were missing out.

"Is this okay?" He asked as you couldn't even speak. You were afraid what would come out so you nodded in response.

He moved away from you again and traveled down lifting the shirt you wear wearing so he could look at you exposed. Was he really about to.....

Yes. You softly moaned for the first time he sucked down your sensitive area. You said it was a new feeling before, this took the whole cake. You never felt such pleasure form inside you. You couldn't contain your voice at this point. Your moans were much more evident by this point, causing him to smile against you. He loved hearing you so weak from his touch.

You felt this feeling overcome you that had you grabbing a pillow and screaming against it. This was what an orgasm felt like? No wondered teens were so hormonal. It felt amazing.

He leaned back with a big smile and trying not to laugh at your defeated state. "You okay."

"I think so." You finally came back to reality. "That felt-" You grew speechless.

"I never felt anything like that before." You confessed.

"I'm glad you enjoyed it."

"Um what about you?" You asked noticing his bulge poking through.

"I'll take care of that in a bit, no worries." He smiled. "We'll take this slow."

He was right, even though you were dying to touch him - to make him feel as good as he made you feel.

After he excused his self to the bathroom and came back, you fell asleep in his arms, making tonight the best night ever. What could go wrong?

You woke up next to a sleeping Yeonjun and you couldn't believe he looked just as good sleeping than he did awake. He was like a prince. You leaned over checking the time and seeing a bunch of missed texts and one missed call from your mother. Uh oh.

»Incoming text :: From Mia :: 7:35a.m. (Y/N) im so sorry, i didn't mean to get you into trouble.

»Incoming text :: From mom :: 7:02a.m. You're not at Mia's? Where are you? You better come home right now.

It's LU Update time!!!!!

Dawn 6 was fun, I enjoyed this update.

Wild has fear, four is a gremlin and SKY MY BELOVED RETURNS

Now this post is LONG so grab some popcorn and some water!

So let's get into it! - Spoilers abound, obviously

From the top!

First off im gonna talk about a parallel, I've pulled up the conversation between Wild and Four from Sunset 7 - 9 Cause I've noticed something.

I'll be bringing up Sunset 7 - 9 more so keep an eye out!

Here is the scene from sunset 7, where we see four near the stable

He could be using the house as a metaphor. Wild going to Twilight was out of the question at the time. He was not in his right mind. It was not up for debate.

He was closed off.

And here is the one from the new update

He's more open to discussion. But he is still not entirely open. His body acts as the barrier rather than the house. I like this top down view, it really opens up the area.

And opens up the floor for discussion. But he's still on guard.

Especially facing the stable.

He's going through his bag here, but he looks guarded. Which I assume is him still thinking about how they last spoke. He knows Wild is coming, assuming he asked Hyrule to tell him.

Now wild

I like that he thinks of Zelda as he's approaching Four. It's really quite sweet, and shows that he probably doesn't see himself as a diplomat after everything. Makes me think what's happening back in Wild's world?

Is Zelda bringing the people together back home? Is she trying to put together some form of government? Who knows?

Another parallel which got me excited

We see Four and wild standing in the same frame facing each other twice in Sunset 7

In both frames Wild is slouched, getting down to Four's level, or close enough to it.

But in dawn 6 there's only one. And it's this.

Wild is stood to his full height and just Takes responsibility. He even appears to be standing to attention here. It shows just how much he's had to change in such a short period. Wild is a knight after all. He's got that ingrained in him.

I wonder how Warriors would react if he saw this conversation, Wild is acting like he's talking to a superior. Maybe he sees the Chain as superior to him?

Im so proud of the Wild child. He's a good man.

Moving on...

We know Four asked Wild here to give him the new Sword. (Which I'll talk about later cause I love it)

So his confusion here is understandable.

Now we get the shock and the crossed arms. Four is still understandably angry at Wild for the last time they spoke. As they don't interact again after Sunset 9. Not really. We get the passing comments from Wild. But Four says nothing.

Now we get to Wild's apology

These two panels especially. Wild was scared. Really scared. We know from prior comic chapters that Wild and Twilight have a history and that they are a set. The way Wilds face screws up here.

He was worried. As they all were. But with his connection to Twilight being that much deeper he would have been feeling the pressure.

Four is also super expressive. I love how he looks here. As the fight they had. Now that clearer heads have prevailed. Was caused by both parties. They were stressed. And stressed people especially heroes are more prone to anger.

I love these panels.

Wilds face is just, so sweet. Fours is just adorable.

And the hand shake! I love them

Now this must be said

Gremlin four! Gremlin four!

I love Wilds expression here as he twists. He was clearly very side lined by the whole. There's four of you thing.

Quadruplets - Oh i love that

Now we get to the sword!

Wild's panel has me screaming I love him

He's all proud oh himself for apologising then four pulls out the sword. and he's like.

Oh damn

You can see on wilds face just how much this means to him

He looks so happy

Which is a big change from the last few days for him. It's nice to see him happy for once. :D

Now this has absolutely been said by someone somewhere.

It's dangerous to go alone Wild! Take this! :D

He looks at the sword like an old friend. Which, to be honest. Is fair. In fact, a lot of the links look at their swords like this.

You know i cant go one update without mentioning the background faces. Look at this little gremlin stance.

Shigaraki x Innocent!Reader The Sum of His Parts Ch. 1

AN: I just knew it was only a matter of time before I came across that one Tiktok that would turn me into a total Shiggy Simp. 😔 Anyways, I'm having too much fun writing this to stop now, so here goes nothing. Prepare yourselves to experience what I can only refer to as 'compete and utter brain rot'. ❤️

My stomach growled with hunger as I approached my favorite deli for some lunch.

"STAY OUTTA MY STORE YA FREAK!" I heard someone yell before I watched the owner toss a man out onto the streets violently.

The man attempted to gather himself up, and was punched in the face, causing him to fall back onto the pavement.

"Hey, what's your problem?! You can't just treat people like that!" I shouted, running towards the scene.

"Huh? Hey listen, mind your business girlie. This freak had it comin'." The guy said before drawing back his fist to strike him again.

I grabbed his arm before he could make contact, and flipped him forward onto his back.

"Your contempt for people who are different from you is gonna get you in serious trouble some day." I said, my voice dropping an octave. I looked up to see the guy walking away, and hurried after him.

"Hey! Hey, uh... sir?" I called, and he finally stopped before briefly glancing back at me, and continued walking ahead.

"Hey, I'm sorry about that guy. He's always been a major pain." I said, and he continued to walk in silence with his hood up.

"Don't let him get to you. Not everyone's that bad." I reassured. My eyes glanced down at his hand and noticed a very large bruise along the outside of his hand, and up his arm. Most likely how he had landed on the blacktop.

"Hey, y'know you're hurt?" I asked, grabbing his hand without thinking. His hand clamped down on mine suddenly. He lifted it up as he turned his body towards mine, watching me with expectation. His dark red eyes widened suddenly after a few moments, and he continued to stare in disbelief as his grip tightened slightly.

"Hey, that hurts a little..." I said, wincing at his grip. He seemed to come back to his senses, and released my hand.

"My name is (Y/N). I could heal that injury for you, if you'd like." I said, gesturing to his hand again.

"... why would you do that...?" He asked, and I was taken aback by the question.

"Well... it just... looks painful. I can heal you. It will only take a second." I explained, and he remained silent. He had a handsome face despite some type of skin condition, and light blue hair that he hid his alluring red eyes with.

I smiled sweetly and took his hand in mine before gently leading him towards one of the park tables.

We sat down and I carefully slid the sleeve of his hoodie up until his elbow. His entire arm was black and blue from the fall.

I felt the warmth of my own quirk in my hand, and gently touched his skin to which he flinched away. I pulled back surprised, but gave him another assuring smile.

"It's okay." I said in a soothing tone. I slowly touched his arm again, and this time he only tensed. As the warmth of my quirk began to spread through his arm he seemed to minutely relax.

"What happened back there anyway?... if you don't mind my asking." I assured, trying to make small talk.

"... Said he... didn't like my face..." He mumbled.

"What a jerk. Who needs people like that?" I said, feeling my brow furrow with annoyance. The warmth of my work dissolved as I finished healing the area.

"There. Good as new. How's it feel?" I asked as he moved his arm around.

"... much better... thanks." He said plainly.

"You were at the Cafe to get some lunch, right? I was thinking the same thing. Maybe... we could have lunch together?" I asked, but he suddenly stood up and began walking away with his hands in his pockets. He didn't get very far before the loud gurgling of his stomach caused him to freeze midstep and stand in awkward embarrassment.

I chuckled lightly before taking his hand in mine again, and smiling.

"I know a great place. Trust me." I said, and he slipped his hand from mine.

"Quit- would you stop doing that?" He asked, and now it was my turn to feel embarrassed.

"Right, I get excited and act on impulse sometimes. I'm sorry if I made you feel uncomfortable." I apologized.

"Just... lead the way." He mumbled, and I nodded.

*At the diner*

I picked a table outside where no people were, and he seemed to be much more comfortable without eyes on him. We ordered our food and drinks and ate in silence for the longest time.

I took a sip of my tea and watched as he removed his hood. I couldn't stop the blood rising to my cheeks, and quickly turned my eyes away.

"I realize I'm hard to look at..." He spoke. I looked back at him in surprise.

"Ichthyosis." I said simply. He lifted an eyebrow in question, and I nodded.

"I'm sure of it. It's a fairly common skin disorder, but it can be made worse with stress, anxiety, and scratching the affected area." I explained.

"... you're what? Some kind of doctor?" He asked, and I shook my head.

"Only a student for now. I've just read a ton of books." I said.

"Anyway... there's nothing wrong with the way you look. In my opinion." I said, my cheeks growing warm again.

"So... I've told you my name. May I please know yours?" I asked, smiling sweetly.

His eyes widened, and he turned his head to the side quickly before clearing his throat.

"Ah... uh... just call me Tenko." He said, covering his mouth with his hand.

"I'm really happy to have met you, Tenko." I said, smiling kindly. He crossed his arms and turned his head away from me again.

*outside of the diner*

"Wow, it got late fast. I should be headed home." I said, facing Tenko.

"Maybe we could meet up again some day?" I asked, and reached into my pocket to pull out a scratch piece of paper. I quickly jotted down my number and held it out towards him. He hesitated before taking it and looking at it briefly.

"... It'll be dark soon. You shouldn't walk home by yourself." He said, shoving the paper in his pocket.

"Oh? Are you offering to walk me home?" I asked, and he scoffed.

"Do you want me to, or not?" He asked, and I smiled kindly before nodding.

"Yeah. I'd like that." I admitted.

We walked side by side down the road that was dimly lit by the street lights until we made it to my apartment's entrance. I turned towards him and gave him another smile.

"Thanks for walking me home, Tenko." I said, turning towards him as he looked up at the apartment building.

"You live alone?" He asked, and I nodded.

"My mother suffered a seizure that caused her to fall into a coma. I've been staying here and visiting her at the hospital after school." I said, starting towards the door.

A sudden flashing blue light interrupted us as a police cruiser pulled up.

"Sergeant Nakagawa." I waved, smiling kindly.

"(Y/N), what are you doing out so late?" He asked.

"My friend here was just walking me home." I said, and the sergeant sent me an odd look.

"What friend?" He asked, I looked over my shoulder to see that Tenko had vanished.

"Oh... he was just right here. I guess he needed to head home too..." I mumbled.

"Don't worry about him. You should get inside. We've had multiple calls from this neighborhood about some shady characters coming around." He said.

"Shady characters? Nobody's been hurt have they?" I asked, and he shook his head.

"So far it's only been a few attempted break ins. Nothing major. We should still keep our guard up though." He said, and I nodded.

"I'll do that. Thanks Sergeant." I said, sending him a quick salute to which he returned.

"You're a good kid... be careful out there." He said, and I nodded before turning to walk into my apartment building.

*a while later*

I walked out of the kitchen rubbing my damp hair with a towel whilst an ice pop hung from the side of my mouth.

I'd changed into a simple t-shirt and shorts, ready to relax and decompress for the day ahead. I slumped down onto the couch before pulling out my phone and flipping through to realize that my classmates had been on a chat server trying to contact me for the last few hours.

Kiri: HELLLOOOO?

Mina: She still hasn't seen any of our messages! You think she's alright?

Jirou: She left early today after training. Maybe she's at the hospital visiting her mom?

Denki: (Y/N), do you have notes from today's English lesson?

Y/N: Hey guys, sorry. I just got home a while ago.

Katsuki: Don't you ever look at your damned phone?

Kiri: You're one to talk Bakugo. You didn't even join the chat until you saw that (Y/N) was signed on.

Mina: 😏

Denki: 😏

Jirou: 😏

Katsuki: Whatever. The only reason I joined was to ask (Y/N) for my pen back.

Y/N: Didn't I give you that back during last period?

Kiri: Yeah, he just wanted an excuse to talk to ya.

*Katsuki has left the chat*

Kiri: Knew it. He's down bad.

Mina: Obviously.

Y/N: I'm not even sure what that means...

Jirou: Our sweet, innocent little (Y/N). ❤️

Denki: Yeah... so... what's it mean again?

Jirou: 😮‍💨

Y/N: I ran into some guy on the way home from the hospital.

Mina: Ooh! Do tell!

Y/N: Well, y'know the diner on 4th? I asked.

Denki: Yeah. That owner guy is a real ass.

Y/N: That's the one. He was really rude to this guy, and I helped him out, we had lunch together, and he walked me home.

Jirou: Did you get his name?

Y/N Yeah, Tenko. Seemed really reserved, but nice.

Kiri: You should be careful. You're too nice towards strangers.

Mina: Isn't that what a hero is supposed to do though?

Kiri: You know what I mean! Y/N is just... too trusting y'know?

Y/N: Are you calling me gullible? 🤨

*Kiri has left the chat*

Y/N: ... I think I have my answer. 😑

Jirou: Still, he's right. You should be cautious.

Mina: Is he hot? 😏

Y/N: I've got to go. Need to study for a test on Monday!

I took a breath before tossing the stick for my ice pop that had long since melted in the trash.

It was a lie of course, there wasn't a test Monday, but it was better than continuing to be heckled by Mina.

I moved towards the kitchen counter to charge my phone before bed, and it lit up just before I could plug the charger in. Another chat invite? Nope, just a text... but the number wasn't saved in my phone.

Unknown: Hi. This is my number.

Y/N: Tenko?

Unknown: Yeah.

Y/N: You disappeared earlier.

Tenko: Sorry. Forgot I had an errand to run.

Y/N: Don't worry about it. I was just worried something happened is all.

I waited several moments, and when he didn't respond to my text I sent him one last message and turned in for the evening.

HOLY SHIT!!!!! 🩷💜💙 I have a lot to say.

My initial Spoiler Thoughts for 7x4 in no particular order.

The Bachelor stuff, as expected, was cringe. In a fun way, but still cringe. Chimney definitely has a little crush on Joey (hello bi Chimney? 👀), and clearly Maddie and Josh are huge Bachelor fans. I learned that it was Jennifer LH that loves the show and so pitched this crossover to the writers. Good on her since she helped create Madney and Buddie. <3

Eddie gave Buck a look at Buck's comment of, “Sorry, I have a rule that I don’t date anyone I meet on a call.”

Bobby could tell something was off with Harry… from the waffles? Also, was that the same actor who plays Harry? It’s been a couple years, so no surprise he’s grown a lot and looks a bit different since we last saw him I think in maybe season 5A.

That has to be a low-key dig at Buck with Eddie saying “...it’s like that thing when you meet somebody and you just, click.” A reference to the cemetery scene and Buck saying the nonsense about how Natalia, after talking twice, sees him. As Eddie should.

Ravi is back! He looked fantastic and beautiful. Heh, loved the brief comedy bit of him asking who was gonna go into the sewer.

Eddie had Marisol babysit Chris twice in one week? ……..I feel mixed about that. I know Eddie is in a better place than he was with Ana, but for him to leave his kid with his, as far as we can tell, casual girlfriend? What confuses me and makes this harder to even analyze for why Eddie is comfortable with this is that, hi. We still know jack shit about Marisol. We just know she and Eddie are casual boyfriend and girlfriend, but not serious. And because we don’t know anything about Marisol nor their relationship, there’s too much to guess why Eddie is, again, cool with having Marisol babysit Chris. I’ve also seen some Latina folks, in the past few days, comment on the stereotype of people like Ana and Marisol playing “the perfect” girlfriend, being motherly and such, and there not really being anything else there. I have no further comment on that, but something to put out there I guess.

Buck complained to Maddie about Eddie having a new friend. And Maddie saying that Buck probably kept digging at Chris for questions. Buck is definitely feeling very insecure that Chris finds Tommy cool, and has some kind of connection with Tommy already (though we know nowhere close to what Buck and Chris have or will ever have). I feel for Buck, I do. Cause y'all, this guy is going to have abandonment issues probably the rest of his life. Yes he should know his place in Eddie and Chris's life by now, but....idk, it's still hard for Buck to trust his place in peoples lives. Buck go back to therapy, please.

Oh so Eddie has wanted Buck to hang out, like with the basketball games, but Buck has passed on that. Thus Eddie invited Tommy. And Eddie had looked so excited at the prospect of Buck getting to come watch the fight as well.

Ohhh really interesting scene with Athena and Harry. Harry even brought up the incident of years ago, of a cop pulling over his dad and pointing a gun at Harry. Harry in this scene was asking, basically, which is more important being a cop or my mom. Harry has the impression Athena cares more about being a cop and………. well………. history shows she does “”understand”” the cops side.

Honestly? I really think Eddie was talking to Tommy on the phone at the station. Given the episode, it probably was. Some may say it could be Marisol, but given how miniscule a role she’s played *gestures* in everything? Nah, it was Tommy. Even from his dialogue I could catch, idk, I still say Tommy. And goddd Buck was trying So Hard to get Eddie’s attention. Buck honey…. you’re embarrassing yourself.

The scene with Athena and the mom who accidentally shot her son got me. Well done, I cried. Let me also just say I’m so happy to have 911 calls that aren’t longer than necessary, but more so just right. Season 6 had an issue of dragging out the calls.

Ha! Chimney covering for Buck at the court and calling himself a beard. Chimney knows something is up, especially with Buck.

Can I just say, I loved seeing Eddie look so happy?? Being more at ease looks fantastic on him. <333

I don’t think I’ve ever seen Eddie act so broey with someone. Tommy really brings out Eddie’s “hey bro man dude what’s going on” side. Interesting interesting… But I am glad that Eddie has someone to connect with about the army, his interest in fighting, and apparently cars???? Stuff like that.

Tommy called Buck Evan, the entire episode. *squints* I’m not mad about it, but I’m a little ?????? about it. I don’t recall any past girlfriends of Buck who called him Evan. Always Buck. And Buck always introduces himself as Buck to everyone, sooooooo what? The only people to ever call Buck Evan is his parents, Maddie, and Eddie once in the memorable and iconic Will Scene. Like having Tommy call Buck Evan certainly sets him apart from everyone else and definitely past love interests…...

Good on Maddie for rightfully being pissed at Buck for, even though he’s not sure he did it intentionally or not, but for hurting Eddie. I’m a bit pissed at Buck for that too. Like Maddie said, you don’t hurt the people you care about. 🤨

Well I’m glad that Athena stuck by Harry’s side through the whole process, buuuut I still think Athena needs to retire. (we know she won’t, especially with the confirmed 8th season, and who knows how many more. maybe in the last season.)

Eddie feels bad? Nah see it’s explained in this post by @bihoebuck about how neither Buck nor Eddie are right or wrong. It’s a quick post, read that and it’ll make sense.

I can't wait to see and hear more from Eddie next episode. Buck may now be focusing on his queer awakening instead of figuring out his feelings about Eddie (spoiler: he's in love with Eddie, we know this), but all of this must get Eddie thinking too. And not just "oh Buck was feeling left out, and I feel like I may have left him out too." Nah there's gotta me more to shake loose in Eddie's head, you know??

BI BUCK IS CANON BABYYYYY!!!! I gotta say the build up to the kiss was really good. And? Like y’all. I really liked how confident Tommy was. He seems to have a good head on his shoulders, saying a lot of right things to clear the air about Chris (that Chris couldn’t stop talking about Buck) and Eddie and such. Tommy even admitting that he’s a bit jealous of the family at the 118, since we know it was Not like that when he worked there. I’m guessing it’s not like that even at the station he currently works at. Now. Once again though we have another case of Buck Misunderstanding the mother-effing Assignment. And I do feel sorry for Tommy because Buck is… basically pivoting in his jealousy about Eddie - feeling like he’s losing Eddie and Chris because Buck will probably forever have abandonment issues - and instead of continuing to really think about why he’s feeling jealous in any regards about Eddie, he’s now thinking, “Oh. I was just wanting to spend time with Tommy. And oh holy shit I’m into guys? Yeah. Yeah I am!!” And so Buck’s queer awakening is kinda clouding his judgment and perspective. Don’t get me wrong! Buck is definitely bi, BLESS, but now he’s going to focus on this part, focus on Tommy, instead of figuring out his feelings about Eddie. I think Buck is still afraid to truly look close at his feelings for Eddie and untangle what it all means. I really wonder just how long Buck will consciously and subconsciously avoid thinking about what Eddie really means to him. I just hope Tommy doesn’t get hurt along the way. =|

PHEW. I got most of my thoughts out, but I’m sure I missed some details. Another really good episode in my books. Not perfect, but pretty dang awesome. 😎

First I wanna say the looneys in this fandom make it so unbearable to be here and just have fun. I used to post whatever I wanted without a second thought but now everything has to sit in the drafts for 3 days while I stress over how people might react.

Fuck that.

I'm gonna scream about what I wanna scream about and if you take it personally that's your problem. These are just characters, clock in to reality and stop acting like they raised you.

Now...

I always see my Nessian mutuals talk about acowar Cassian and trilogy Cassian as a whole being so great but...

To be clear I don't mean Cassian as a standalone character, he's literally amazing alone but in Nessian? Be serious

He's also amazing with every other woman he comes into contact with except Nesta... 🤦🏻‍♀️ can't believe yall stan this ship, stand up rn please 😭 lolol jk. This is just a rant, ship literally whatever the fuck you want, luv u 🫶🏼

I said in a recent answer that the key to enjoying SJM's books is abiding by the Sarah Says rule.

Listen to what Sarah Says even if you read with your own eyes that in canon that "character A got shot by character B", if Sarah Says "well actually B doesn't have fingers so he couldn't pull the trigger and A actually shot himself from 3 feet away being both the victim and the gunman" then that's that.

I'm gonna refer to the facts on paper as canon and what Sarah Says as the narrative and what fans think as fanon.

The thing with a lot of (anti Feysand pro Nessian) fans is they can break the Sarah Says rule only when they want to.

They see past the narrative and fanon to look at the canon and say "I don't like that/ I don't think that's healthy/ that guy sucks/ they both suck"

But then will say acomaf and acowar Nessian was great. What was sooooo great about it? I'm not gonna act like they don't have good moments but they definitely aren't as good as fanon or the narrative makes them out to be.

Let's look at their first meeting

Narrative/ Sarah Says/ Feyre's Mind: Cassian is looking at Nesta and Nesta is ignoring Cassian. There's a little back and forth. Nesta tries to ignore him, he doesn't like that. Do you feel some tension? I feel some tension

Fanon: Cassian was the only one brave enough to call Nesta on her BS and dish it back to her/ he got under her skin/ finally someone tells her off etc you know what I'm referring to

Canon: Feyre and Elain frequently challenge Nesta and she more often than not gives in to them. The IC are in the house because Feyre wants to be there and Elain said to hear them out. In that same scene, Feyre essentially tells Nesta she's living her best life and to fuck off. And power to her. That's just their dynamic.

But Cassian? Cassian is a stranger. He's in her house. He's asking for her help. His HL is asking for her help. So why was he antagonising her?

The narrative and fanon loves to act like Cassian is at best an equal and at worst below Nesta in some way and he's just stepping up to meet her energy but ???

Nesta didn't want them in her home. She worried that just working with them would put herself and others in danger. She didn't want to become Fae. She didn't want to share her story to garner sympathy for the NC. She didn't want to kill or use swords.

But all of those things happened anyway??

She's always the one backed into a corner and then treated like she was on equal ground just cause she's still got her pride? That single sin of not breaking is always punished again and again.

Do you see how you've bought into what Sarah Says?

Hybern and the Cauldron?

Cassian was twitching trying to reach for her, this was the moment we knew for sure they were gonna be mates omg

And Nesta? She was right. Everything she feared would happen did but even worse? She and Elain have been kidnapped and she doesn't know why they're being dunked like chicken wings but the fucking pot tried to kill her. She's the one who fell for an eternity and fought her way back to life.

No offense but not the greatest moment to base your romance on since you have to swivel the camera away from a woman in a traumatizing situation to point at a man and say look how seeing her hurt hurts him 🤕

And acowar??? The supposed golden era of Nessian?? Babe, that's just spray paint

It's Nesta who stands up for Cassian at the HL Meeting. You know what she also does? Recount her trauma to strangers, she isn't feeling well, she stands up for innocent humans and fae, she commands a room full of the most powerful men on the Continent.

It's Nesta who calls for Cassian, saves his life, and covers her body with his. These are Nessian moments yes but they are Nesta's actions. It was her who made Nessian shine.

Cassian? He promised her forever and then ignored her? Pulled away, got embarrassed or something who the fuck cares.

But this is your man - look at the canon - this is your man??

And you said yes.

That's why you got ACOFAS. That's why you got your 500 year old man telling a shell shocked, dying woman that he didn't know why her sisters loved her. That's why you got a leader of legions raging like a 14 year old league player. A whole r/AITA villain

And that's why he embarrassed y'all in ACOSF. That's why you got EIGHT HUNDRED PAGES AND NOT A SINGLE I LOVE YOU because you already accepted less than the bare minimum

Because you failed to apply the rule equally for both ships.

Cassian is also in a power imbalanced relationship with Nesta, he's also 500 years older than her so why suddenly have issue with him having control over her and using it to break her and reshape her how he wants?

Again. You can ship what you want. You can indulge in fanon all you want. I support that. Just hope you know that that's what you're doing.

RWRB Musical Ramble Part 2: References/Parallels

More on this brain rot because I’m losing my mind over it

I thought of moments and scenes from the movie (because if we’re gonna adapt this into a musical, we’re gonna need to use the movie more than the book just because of the limitation of theatre) that sort of draw parallels to songs and moments from musicals I know:

Their initial feud and quips from the opening scenes remind me of “What is this Feeling” from Wicked, which in the musical, is literally the start of Glinda and Elphaba’s enemies-to-friends arc. Plus this part would be so funny with Henry:

The Red Room/ First Hook Up/ Polo scene fits perfectly with Bad Idea from Waitress, I mean Alex initially calls them a beautiful mistake in the books, and just look at the lyrics:

The Emails can be done like “Take a Break” from Hamilton, where Angelica and Hamilton, or Alex and Henry are on different, opposite parts of the stage, left and right, or like in Hamilton, Alex working on the campaign on the base stage, while Henry’s on the balcony, taking turns singing their letters/emails out, we could even add the cute signatures from the book every time they finish their own verse, and the chorus could be a harmony sang together about how much they miss each other, plus Hamilton and Angelica are literally in America and London respectively and Take a Break has this line:

And there you are an ocean away

Do you have to live an ocean away?

Thoughts of you subside

Then I get another letter

And I cannot put the notion away

I thought of the Waterloo Letters paralleling the Reynolds Pamphlet from Hamilton, but on second thought although they’re both about “affairs”, the Firstprince one is a genuinely loving and monogamous relationship unlike the extra-marital sexual affair Hamilton had, and in Hamilton, we see it from other people’s perspective like Jefferson, Maddison, Philip and Angelica, but in RWRB both the book and movie show us the reaction of Henry and Alex, the two people directly involved. Plus in terms of emotions, Reynold Pamphlet feels damning on Hamilton, while the Waterloo Letters feel heart-breaking on Henry and Alex. But the staging of letters flying around and everyone reading it like crazy would translate pretty well

That’s all I can think of for now but this was really fun!!! I’ll definitely write again when I think of more

Helluva Boss season 2 ep 3 review THERE WILL BE SPOILERS

It's been a while a long while since I've done one of these but this is the first episode since episode 5 that hasn't pissed me off in the first five minutes and was able to somewhat enjoy it but omg I said it once and I'll say it again viv does not have one single clue what she's doing wit her characters but we are getting ahead of ourselves so let's start wit the good before we get to the bad.

Genuinely love that this was a Moxxie center episode cause it's about damn time my boy got the attention he deserves and it's not him getting punched every three seconds -_-

I personally love Chazz design I thought he was fun and enjoyable {at first} and I loved that he and Moxxie had a relationship together not gonna lie I was screaming I ship them especially the flashback ^^

Ummmm ...

IS THIS SUPPOSED TO BE MY BABY STRIKER ??? !!! YALL IS THIS SUPPOSED TO BE MY. BABY. STRIKER ??? !!!

Regardless I'll take whatever crumbs I can get ^^

Baby Moxxie was adorable !!!!

The relationship between him and his mother was adorable I feel like she was the reason for his love for musical I loved her ^^

I also love we got Moxxie saying he's bi it's always refreshing to see characters refer themselves as part of the lgbtq community

No Loona speaking omg I'm so happy we didn't have Loona talking at all because honestly she would've made the episode worse

Now onto the bad parts -_-

Maybe is because English isn't my first language but didn't Moxxie said he was born in Wrath ??? So did he move to Greed ??? If so was it when he was a baby or ??? I'm just confused on that part.

No one not Viv not her crew hell at this point not even SOME people of the Fandom know what to do/think of Millie.

The whole episode she was either a rabid animal or resorted to Moxxies wife/the blood thirsty woman of the show like how is she a main character always getting side line for everyone fuck man even Loona gets better treatment than her and that sucks cause Loona is down right awful

The fat jokes weren't funny the first time and guessed what they aren't funny the 18th time !!!

I get homophobic implications cause its hell 🤪 {every time I say that imma add that face} but umm the dildo jokes ??? Like I genuinely didn't get why that needed to be added but it is what is I guess.

So you mean to tell me both Moxxie and Millie slept wit Chazz but this episode didn't bother focusing on Millie on how they met Like da freak ??? Also while I loved Chazz the first few minutes I got annoyed wit him like really Viv you're gonna make the bisexual character a horny person that fucks everything wit two legs and have his whole personality around sex ??? Also was I the only one disgusted wit Blitz sleeping wit Chazz ??? Like how the freak we got there ??? !!!

Gotta be honest did not like that Moxxies VA also voiced Crimson I was expecting something more intimidating like something like Striker I guess but that's just me

Also back to the dildo joke ummm someone tell me why we were having a moment that should have build an intimidating moment only to ruin it wit the dildos ... ... ... like I said before Vive has no idea how to handle serious topics without turning it into a joke and have the entire scene lose its importance and value.

Like the build up the dinner scene it was leading up to a serious conflict that was creating tension and hell even the slap had me shocked and Crimson bringing fear into the audience only for it to come tumbling down with the dildos hell even after the threat Crimson gave as Moxxie was leaving I couldn't take seriously because the scene kept showing them.

Hell even wit Moxxie being upset and hurt I couldn't take serious cause of the whiplash that came right after

Can someone please explain why is there a priest in hell ??? Or better yet why is there a jail in hell ??? Like why are we even having Charlie's hotel idea if there's jail and rehab in hell like ??? Does Viv even understand the world she's created ??? Like does she even remember the world she's created ??? Cause why create a hotel that's supposed to help sinners when Hell has REHAB AND A JAILING SYSTEM ??? !!!

ALSO SOMEONE ANYONE PLEASE EXPLAIN TO ME THE HIERARCHY OF HELL !!!

Are imps at the bottom ??? The shark demons ??? Like does anyone at Spindle even remember their own rules for the show ??? !!!

Anyways that's it for my complaint of the day but anywhore those are my thoughts and I'm sticking to them !!!

My full review of the MW3 campaign.

There will be major spoilers ahead

I'm gonna be going in chronological order with the missions. If you want my opinions on *that* scene, then scroll close to the bottom. This is a very lengthy review and I cover every mission.

First of all I absolutely loved all the nods to the original mw games, I noticed the most from mw2 09 since I've actually played that one, but there was some mw3 og references too.

I actually had to pause and take it all in from the first mission. The gulag looked EXACTLY like the one you save Price from in 09. That combined with the fact that Makarov had the same prisoner number as Price did: 627. I really did love the way they set up this mission, I found it a lot easier to play through than previous games. I honestly didn't expect Makarov to be the prisoner until I got to the cell, but it was a great parallel to 09.

I wasn't a fan of how they brought Graves back with no explanation. If they explained it in mw2 raids then I missed it cause I haven't played them all, but I was confused about the timeline and why Graves was even directing Farah in her chapter. This could also just be me being a massive Graves hater, cause I can't stand him. On the plus side ALEX AND FARAH TOGETHER WOOO. I love them they're so married. The open world mission was really unique and fun to play through, the objectives could've been a bit clearer, but again I was kind of ignoring Graves there, half bc i hate him half bc I was focusing on not dying. I need visual cues.

I don't have many thoughts on the Price mission except that it was good to play him first the first time since mw1. I was a bit confused as to how that mission was meant to be done stealthily? The helos were so well guarded, I had to go in loud for all of them.

The next price mission was also pretty fun and was actually pretty easy to do until it came to leaving the bunker. I must've died so many times to that damn juggernaut. I kept getting that "enemies are too close" warning that wouldn't let me finish the mission until I literally had 5 seconds left. I was FRANTIC.

LASWELL MY BELOVED. the first words out of my mouth were "omg laswell looks so good in fatigues" getting to play as her was such a treat bc I LOVE her. It took me a few tries to figure out how to go about it, but I got it. Loved the nods to the og mw3 with Yuri being the Informant. Getting out of the building with the gas chasing me was stressful, but not so bad. Nikolai saves the day. As a metalhead, hearing Nikolai listening to metal at the beginning was really nice since it's a change of pace from what media usually depicts metal listeners as.

I think it was an interesting choice to have us play as Samara in the hijacking chapter. I'm not going to talk much on this one cause it felt a little on the same lines as the mw2 09 airport scene in tasfefulness. I felt so helpless watching everything happen. It really solidifies the kind of antagonist Makarov is going to be for the rest of the campaign.

On the crash site mission it was nice to play Farah again, especially with Alex on overwatch. I was a little lost for most of this mission, but once I figured it out, it was fairly easy. The end wasn't very clear that you had to help Alex, so I failed the first time.

Omg the flashback mission. Loved it so much. Genuinely so well written. 09 refs on 09 refs. It played out so much like a direct opposite to the airport chapter in 09. Definitely didn't hit Makarov too many times cause I could. Seeing 09 Ghost there genuinely made me so happy, I know we've had 09 ghost outfit in game for a while but seeing it in campaign and updated was SO GOOD. The cutscene was another reminder of how 'Two steps ahead" Makarov is. A lot of people had the hc that Ghost and Soap met on the platform in kill or capture in mw2 but this confirmation that they've known each other for at least 4 years was really nice. Gaz was genuinely so beautiful in that cutscene too oml.

I missed a lot of the banter in Oligarch cause I was so focused, but seeing clips of it reminded me of the stealth Gaz Price mission and Alone from mw2. I did notice on the monitor with the codes, it looks like it's literally the coding for the mission. Milena's interrogation was a really good scene of good cop bad good between Ghost and Soap.

Highrise is not only a nod to the old map, but to me it reminded me of the Ramirez mission in the building in mw2 09. It was pretty clear that it was a difficult to navigate mission in game testing since there were SO many arrows spraypainted on the walls. I didn't even notice them until about halfway through and I still got lost. The end with getting Nolan exfil was pretty difficult, but still fun.

Frozen Tundra. oh boy it reminded me so much of the second snow mission in mw2 09. Hated leaving Shepherd to fight, but overall pretty fun mission. Loved everyone's snow camo.

Gora Dam, the first and only Ghost mission. Fun, but I had to restart more than a couple times due to the difficulty. I wish there had been checkpoints. Reminded me a lot of the Atomgrad raid 1. Couldn't take "Makorov poisoning the water supply" line without hearing Woody from toy story saying "someone's poisoning the watering hole"

Don't have much to say about Danger Close other than Gaz is so real for not even acknowledging Graves. I thought it was an odd choice to have Alex and Farah not care about Graves' previous actions. It was pretty much the same as the mw2 22 shadow company overwatch mission, little bit easier though.

And finally the piece de resistance: Trojan Horse. What a whirlwind. very difficult mission that I had to restart many many times. Barely any cover, not clear when more enemies are are spawning. As for the... end. I have a hot take. it didn't feel rushed to me. I think the urgency of diffusing the bomb was a good way to end the playable sections. It was HEAVILY inspired by mw2 09 and I think a lot of people missed that, or just didn't know that. The way Makarov shot soap at first was very reminiscent of the end of mw2 09 where you're fighting Shepard and are under the assumption soap is dying and Price is about to lose. Soap using his last breath to help price, help everyone was very in character, as were everyone else. A lot of people think it was cold and unemotional, but it felt realistic to me. It felt in character, they had a job to do and the only one that strayed from that was Ghost. It hurt of course, I think I spent about 15 seconds just staring at Soap and Ghost trying to process it. I actually Clipped that part and when I rewatched, I realized I completely didn't hear Gaz telling me to help him diffuse the bomb. In fact I didn't hear him until he said "he's gone captain" and then asked for help. The reason it was so different from mw3 was because it happened so suddenly. In the og, Price spent like 20 minutes thinking that soap could live if he got help, them watched him die. Here, however, he saw him get shot in the head, pretty cut and dry no coming back from that.

Soap's funeral was also well done. They don't need to be emotional messes, especially since cremation takes time, it's been at the very least like a week since his death. Everyone grieves differently. I loved that they spent the time to take his remains to Scotland. It shows they care. It shows that they respected him greatly.

The mid credit scene was predictable but exactly what I wanted. When Shepherd walked on screen I audibly said "I hope price is waiting in there with a gun" and sure enough. It did feel open ended to leave room for a mw4, but I think whether or not we get one doesn't matter. This story has been told, if Activision chooses to continue, I'll likely play it, but it isn't needed.

Overall, the campaign did a very good job at its purpose: showcasing gameplay for mw3. It's what the campaigns are for at the end of the day. It showed off guns, controls, operators, and maps. The open combat missions gave us a little insight into what the MWZ gamemode might be like. I personally thought everyone was in character. I know a lot of Soap and GhostSoap fans are disappointed with the outcome, but it felt like a respectful way to end Soap's story. As a GhostSoap shipper myself, i feel like we got enough content and backstory of them.

hey fellas this is the cringe website, so I'm gonna go on record real quick okay? I just watched all the willy wonka movies (1971, 2005, 2023) and I NEED to rant about it. Also, I don't really know if we need a warning for this, but I go on a rant about the 2005 one being kinda racist/weird/groomer-ish so there's like a warning i guess.

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (Novel, 1964): Never read it

Have not read the book. Coming out and saying that now, just to be like, transparent or whatevr.

Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory (1971): Banger, 10/10

My dad put this on one night (after he had watched both the 1971 movie and the 2005 one) and made me watch it. I had never seen it before and was waiting for some cringey dated 70's humor, maybe even a slur or something, but uh, nope. Gene Wilder was delivering every line with right amount of crazy person energy, without feeling creepy (at least to me). The bits were funny, and (again from my casual viewing) inoffensive. Some of the songs were boring, but when the obvious bangers played, I was hooked. The Oompa-Loompas were pretty funny, and never overstayed their welcome. The focus of this movie is mostly Charlie and Wonka, which is fair considering that's what the book is about (I think like I said I actually never read the book) Far as I am remembering, it was good, clean, killing(?) kids with candy fun.

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory(2005): Dogshit film, 3/10

Fucking HATED this shit! The like, Native people direction they took with the Oompa-Loompas??? Omg, every scene felt like a FUCKING hate crime! And their songs were mid, I especially cringed during the first one and the last one. And Johnny Depp does that fucking horrible like.... battle cry thingy to call them as opposed to using the gay-ass little flute Gene Wilder Wonka did???? And the Oompa-Loompas keep doing this like, hands crossed over the chest salute thing? And they row a big boat, with a big drum keeping the rythm? Like WHY are they like this in the movie? And they aren't orange and green and silly anymore, they're just like dark skinned guys? With black hair? Which Idk, would've been an alright change i guess, if they didn't also do a whole scene where William Wanking is running thorugh the jungle in his teddy roselvelte ass outfit, and the oompa-loompas like don't speak english, do "silly" tribal dances to summon cocoa beans or something? and eat bugs???? like that's..... certainly a choice for the film.... And it's even grosser cause in both films mr. wilfred wonder or whatever refers to loompa land as like a horrid place to live or whatever, but when Gene Wilder said it, it kinda felt more like "yeah these little orange dudes get eaten by monsters and shit" and when Johnny Depp says it, it's like "yeah, they lived in a STINKY GROSS PLACE IN TREE HUTS AND THEY WERE POOR!!!! AND GRODY!!!!! Ewww, but after I stripped them of that culture and made them live in my factory, their lives are better now" idk super super weird to me. He also does a scene where the joke is he's just using like AAVE i think? He's like "ARe you hip to it? Are you jive? Slide me some skin, soul-brother!" and like, fucking stop, stop talking like that even if it isn't offensive, it's sure as hell cringey to hear a white, bill cipher human design looking mother fucker to start saying some bull shit like that. And the scene of uh, Violet or whatever getting turned into a blueberry???????? Straight up felt like inflation porn on DeviantArt! She gets big like ass first, and even looks at her ass like "oh dam I'm getting caked up" LIKE SIR THIS IS A CHILD! Same with the scene of Veruca Salt getting attacked by squirrels it felt so fetishy and weird idk. and also this version of WOnka is giving soma MAJOR OVERT Groomer/PEdo vibes like it's SOOOO Fucking gross I hated this movie. And all the Willy Wanker flashbacks are so boring and unessecary. Like shut up. There's just a bunch of scenes like that where I'm like "was this in the book or something?" Like the scene where he builds chocolate palace for a guy in India (complete with the typical 2005 depiction of an Indian man and woman i.e. the head turban things and a very pronounced accent, also the palace was just like chocolate Taj Mahal I'm pretty sure but whatever) but the chocolate melts (and drops on his forhead, between his eye brows. Y'lnow? Get it? Cause the... they have the dot.... thing... like SHUT UP IT'S NOT FUNNY) There was some funny lines, and I thought it was funny that Charlie was played by the dude who plays the Good Doctor (my dad was like "I couldn't watch it without thinking about he was going to say he was a surgeon), but every other scene felt almost illegal to watch. ALSO they drop the R-slur in this movie, which doesn't surprise me considering it was 2205, but if the film from the 70's sexulized the children less, had no slurs in it??? like ok, why are we adding offensive stuff to the equation of this children's movie?

Wonka (2023): Went in as a hater, came out as a fan 8/10

I was like "Who asked for this movie? Do we need another willy wonka movie??" But, I was pleasantly surprised. It had a lot of heart, the effect were pretty nice, I liked the characters. I guess they were given permission or something by Roald Dahl's family or something (i watched a behind the scenes thing, but i don't remember much about it) to do some new stuff with the Wonka character. So a lot of the characters are new, or heavily expanded on. I thought the humor really matched the 1971 film, a lot of funny bits. Timothee Chalamet, who isn't my favorite guy, was surprisingly charming as Wonka, I was ready to be rolling my eyes every time he said something. But, again, he was actually pretty silly, with the sort of seeds planted for him to turn into the Gene Wilder version of Wonka. The kid, Noodle, was also pretty silly. I liked the dynamic between her and William Wonkilla, it felt significantly more wholesome and WAYYY less creepy than anything in the Johnny Depp version. There's also a dead mom backstory for Wanker, and I'm a sucker for that sort of over done cringe, so yeah, I might've gotten like... a little emotional. They made the Oompa-Loompa(s) orange again, and they do the old oompa-loompa song! Pretty pleased with that as well, especially after the painful experience that was the 2005 version of Wonking. Me, my sister, and my dad were all surprised by how much we like this new one, even though I still don't think it was necessary? But again, welcome surprise. Omfg, also, in the BTS thing we watched, there was this sort of unspoken shade being thrown at the 2005 one like there was one guy who was like "Y'know, it's sort of a daunting task because so many great actors have played this character. Y'know, you got Gene Wilder. And now we have Timothee Chalamet- LIKE WOW OKAY DAMN NOT EVEN GONNA SAY HIS NAME!!!! And then also one of the guys, the director or something was like "You can't have a willy wonka movie without Oompa-Loompas, and when I think of oompa-loompas I think orange skin, green hair, you know, funny dances moves" Like, we know what an Oompa-Loompa is.... Why're you mentioning this? Unless, of course, there was a film that went a really weird and uncomfortable route with portraying the Oompa-Loompas?????? OH, like the 2005 one!

The only thing I will say I didn't love with my whole heart was there are a lot of fat jokes. like, there's a cop who puts on a lot of weight throughout the film and it's a little juvenile and sorta dumb and overdone, but I guess I understand the sort of thing they're trying to say? Like, he's getting fat because he's eating chocolate that he's being bribed with, so it's like, he's corrupted or whatever, but idk, i don't love the fat jokes. Still, the character is pretty funny.

So yeah, that's my analysis or whatever. I had a lot of fun watching the movies. The release order is how you should watch them lol. The 1971 movie is a classic, you'll watch it a realize you know more about the movie than you thought, just due to pop culture. The 2005 one, you'll probably recognize some sound bits and some of the soundtrack (if you were on tiktok) but most likely, you'll be annoyed and baffled by the changes they made. And THEN you watch the new one, ready for some cringe, and they hit you with a surprisingly cute and wholesome story that sort of destroys all the cringe the 2005 movie gave you.

once again thank you for putting into words some of the worst problems i've seen/found in mcyt fandom that i just could not put my finger on. ever since i was first getting into dsmp & especially sbi, it always felt so baffling to try and talk about fanfic in the fandom because it was like people (vague hand wavey reference to twt fandom) were just picking and choosing at random which things were and weren't okay with NO basis. but like yeah oh my god its because of kink things. it's because they don't realize it's all kink things, but they'll latch onto and condemn the ones that "stick out" as objectively horny and make call out posts for it. without realizing they're writing the same exact things and just not realizing it's kink. like I'm remembering when sbi twt went to war about petnames and if using them in fic was okay or if it was creepy and it genuinely just boiled down to "it's okay when /I/ do it because I know I'm writing it in an affectionate/platonic way but when YOU do it it's weird because it reads as creepy/sexual!!" meanwhile the fics in question were written in the exact same manner and using the exact same words. LIKE ??

Yeah and like, I'm taking a bit of a different stance than Twitter, because I do think a lot of stuff being written in the SBI tags is kinky, but most of the time the authors are also trying to keep it legitimately platonic, and yeah, the streamers shouldn't see that, but my stance on stuff that the streamers shouldn't see is that we should keep it away from streamers, not that we should harass the people writing it off the internet. Just keep it on Ao3 and tag it and you're fine.

Like, my intent with all of this is not to shame people for having kinks. Almost everybody has at least one kink of some kind or another, and that's fine, whether you get especially into mind control or you find the idea of someone powerful being condescending and mean to you being compelling, or again, you just want someone in a parental role to take care of you and tell you you're good. That's fine. I can't overemphasize how fine that is. Lots of people have that. You can be super ace and also super kinky, even.

I do sometimes feel bad when I see writers who have obvious kinks who are very afraid of exploring any element of sex with that— like I am sorry but vore is not normally a platonic kink, omegaverse being fun for you is fine but it's not normally platonic, but they're desperately toeing that line and attacking anyone who comes close to implying that they've crossed it.

Cause most of what I've read, I don't think the authors are conciously shipping it. You do get the rare person in the tag where I'm like "if kissing wasn't illegal, would this scene have ended in this specific way, huh 🤨", but most of the time I think people intend to be keeping it platonic. But uhhhhhh the fandom tropes that we're all working with now go along with ship and sex in any other fandom, even if everybody's pants stay on in this one. So the people who wrote it know that THEY very intentionally kept it platonic, so THEY are in the clear, but YOU are obviously using a shipping trope so YOU have to be called out— and then the twitter cancellation mill grinds through another cycle, which is not helpful to anyone. What are you gonna do, shrug emoji.

Fortnight (feat. Post Malone)

It took a few listens to get into this one, but I really enjoy it. I was excited that Taylor would be working with Post, and I think he adds an added depth to the song. I've compared it to Dial Drunk, which he did with Noah Kahan, because I think he adds the same effect and texture to both songs.

But Daddy I Love Him

I love this song. It's such a good song to sing along to, or dance to, or run to, or- you get it. The chorus is great, the transition through the song is great, everything is just perfect.

Florida!!! (feat. Florence + The Machine)

I gotta tell you, Taylor outdid herself with the collabs on this one. Post Malone and Florence + The Machine??? Again, a really nice depth and layer is added. Something about this song wakes you up, which I love.

Guilty As Sin?

Okay, this one- I love it. I loved it a little less when I found out the, um, subject was you-know-who. But, if you ignore that, this is great. What did it for me was the "What if he's written 'mine' on my upper thigh", 'cause wasn't that everyone's fantasy at one point?

Who's Afraid of Little Old Me?

It has "mad woman" vibes, and I'm loving it. Such a running song too. I was down in the basement, running my little heart out on the treadmill, imagining a whole scene. It was great.

The Alchemy

It's something about this one that I love. Maybe the football references, maybe the sound of it, maybe the images it creates. It's such a fun song, and I love the "He jokes that it's heroin but this time with an 'E'".

The Albatross

This is my favorite on the album. I didn't think I'd be able to choose a favorite, but here we are. I'm a willow girlie, so this one was just, an instant connection. The lyrics- the sound- everything.

I Hate It Here

Almost every word she said in this one- I could relate to it. Hello? "Secret gardens in my mind"- those of you who know-

Very much a grown up "Mean". To be honest, I thought of "Clean" as well. This song, to me at least, felt like healing.

I Look in People's Windows

I loved the theme of this song. You know, seeing that person, and then you look for them everywhere, and you get kinda obsessed, and- I'll stop before I expose myself. Anyway, this one was cute and upbeat, overall a great song.

The gasp I gasped when it went "You said you were gonna grow up, then you were gonna come find me". Peter Pan and Wendy anyone??? I love this song, and I was indeed singing it the rest of the day.

The Manuscript🥀

*Sighs*. This one made me tear up. I'll admit it. It may just have been because it was the last song, but something about this did it for me. The single notes in the background- *sighs again*. It's just such a pretty song about moving on and reflection.

Alex Rider S03E01 Reaction

So I've already watched all of s3, but I decided for some reason to keep a liveblog & take a moment after every episode to write down my thoughts/predictions/questions at the time. Some of it is very amusingly wrong, but I'm going to share it anyway because I do always enjoy reading liveblogs/reaction posts myself so maybe other people will want to read it too.

Note that while this contains no spoilers for later eps, I have read the book and reference it, so warning for book spoilers and me being unable to stop comparing the two.

I am petty but I don’t like Alex sharing what Yassen told him with people lol. But I guess they had to make it a group project for the show and it’s not the stuff with his dad which is what Alex in the books felt was too private to share so oh well

Alex thinking Yassen wasn’t lying to him 😭 and he does seem to have kept the part about his dad a secret!

oh damn he wants to destroy Scorpia!! and Kyra also wanting him to, that could cause interesting conflict when he joins them later

Love the Alex/Kyra ship fuel with the hurt/comfort scene

ahslfhs how did they even find that villa tho? LIke I thought that was just the piece of wall Mrs Rothman was photographed in front of, surely that gives them no clues about where she’s staying?

And not to be mean but Kyra did kinda bring the stabbing on herself ashdflhs. Going off on her own because she got bored and then expecting Alex to do the fighting and treating the fight weirdly casually

It’s interesting how they seem to have changed Scorpia’s structure/origin story what with Mrs Rothman being elected and there being no client for this operation.

Them referencing Alex getting in with Tom setting fireworks in the books... i mean it's a nice reference but also actually that was more fun than Kyra just being able to hack their way in ngl ahsdlfhs. Not really the show’s fault, but modern tech & computer tricks make spy stories more boring

Also Alex just walked into the party in his suit and honestly this is one of those plots that only works because Otto is not a teenager. If he actually looked like a teen, he would have stood out waaaay too much (which was actually a concern in the book)

Alex grabbing champagne and later putting it back down again haha good way to blend in, I suppose

Getting his phone out?? In the exhibition?? So rude

Love the trend of doctors/scientists in Alex Rider wanting to be paid more for their work. Honestly they deserve it because they won’t even get to publish their extraordinary findings

‘I can hear you breathe’ Love Nile

Nile please how are you surprised at Alex attacking you asdfs

Shame we didn’t get Nile overpowering him like in the books, the difference in their fighting skills was so much bigger there, but I think they made Alex more of a fighter in the show. In the books he mostly needs to rely on the element of surprise and usually when he’s in a fight he’s outmatched and needs to use some form of trickery/his environment to win while show!Alex actually has pretty good fighting skills

I love Nile’s actor but I wish he could have actually taken Alex down like in the book, the way he loses Alex and doesn’t even realise it & thinks he died makes him look a lot less competent tbh

How did Alex climb up there?? And more importantly, how is he getting down haha

I get the feeling Yassen isn't gonna show up until Alex is with Mrs Rothman lol but at least we got to hear his final words ot Alex like four times

Overall

Really exciting, love seeing Malta and I’m intrigued at the differences between the book and the show and where it will lead.

Thoughts/predictions

I imagine the race Tom’s brother mentioned will play a role and I liked the little bit we got with Tom about his grades being bad and maybe wanting to drop out. I guess Tom’s parents aren’t going through their divorce in the show? Also really enjoyed Alex and Kyra being more invested in the investigation than Tom and how they are apparently planning to take down Scorpia for their families.

I liked how we got to see more from Julia Rothman and Scorpia already and I’m intrigued by what Invisible Sword will be. Love Max having his ‘I have grandkids now’ moment and trying to talk Julia Rothman down and her being like ‘no I want to kill’. Looooved Nile telling Mrs Rothman to shoot him if he ever lost the appetite for killing.

I also really liked Alex talking about his dad and how he had nothing to do with spying and how his world got turned upside down when he learned about his uncle being a spy and now it’s happening again.

What is Invisible Sword in this?

What’s the deal with Julia inheriting her place at the table? Not sure if I like the new origin story for Scorpia but I’m intrigued by the way they have a council now instead of an executive board and how it changes the vibes.

Are Alex and Tom and Kyra gonna fight?

20: What I hate most about myself

Oof starting off on a downer. I'd say it's my passiveness. Which some may say is weird cause a lot of people would describe me as passionate and on the outside I do appear very organized. But I just have so many things I want to do, that I just don't. Like, I want to learn to sew, compose music, archery, read books, play video games, watch certain shows or movies, etc, but I just... don't. Yah part of it is that there's so much I want to do it's hard to pick one. And yeah I have ADHD, aka the "I can't do shit disorder," where executive dysfunction is my worse symptom. But even if I didn't have ADHD, I still feel like I'd be like this. Also, it's not just hobbies. I had flying ants in my room, and I told my parents about it, but then I stopped pushing them about it and I just sucked it up for serval months. Or I end up going to Community College because I put off applications until the last second, and I am currently really behind on transferring applications for my BA. Or I'm not as informed politically as I'd like to be because it's stressful to me, but then I'm not acting according to my beliefs which is also stressful. That's not to say I have no initiative. I taught myself cursive and how to touch type in middle school. I started posting my art on the internet, all of my art has been self-taught. I took my mental health into my own hands and hyper-fixated on mental health for years so that I could be in a better place. It's not good to be dwelling on the parts you hate about yourself, but I do genuinely believe it's trait about myself that I want to work on.

21: What I love most about myself

Okay, something more positive! Uh, people tend to say I'm a very bright person, or that I make their day and I'm glad I make people feel comfortable around me!

22: What I want to be when I get older

Okay here's the problem, I want to do everything yet I don't know exactly what I want to be(I'm literally only 19), but I do know the average person has multiple jobs/careers in their lifetime(rn google is saying 12), so here are a couple I know I want to do!

Teacher: I've always wanted to be a teacher since I was a kid, and while many people assume I want to be a music teacher, I'd honestly love to do any subject. Preferably STEM or History, tho being a music teacher would genuinely be fun I'd love to conduct a choir. I think rn I'm more interested in learning about the world than learning about pedagogy, but definitely a job I plan to have at some point in the future

Museum worker: My twin asked me if I'd ever considered working at a museum last year, and I'd never had but honestly it sounds like a perfect job for me! I love history and science, I could still teach people, and I love going to museums. Also, the behind-the-scenes research or archiving sounds very up my alley!

Archivist: Kinda related to the previous one since you can be an archivist at a museum, but idk it sounds like the type of work that my brain would vibe with. Organizing and researching stuff. Also, it's pretty cool to be able to work with primary sources of stuff, like that's so cool! And I get to preserve information so that down the line people aren't crying about how little information there is about [insert topic]. (also haha yah, yah I like tma, hardy har, shhhh, that isn't even one of the reasons, just a coincidence)

Scientist: Pretty vague term cause idk in what field but I know I've always liked science! For a frame of reference, I would probably doing some stem major if I wasn't a musician. I had finished my science course my second year of high school, I didn't have any science classes for two years. Then at the end of senior year, I listened to Stella Firma and there in b/w sections where they had a scientist fact check the show was so interesting and made me remember I liked science and it's actually super cool! I'm hoping that next year once I transfer, I'll be able to take steps to at the very least minor in Physics and start doing some STEM stuff. Tho tbh I'm just choosing physics cause I'm good at math and astrophysics/cosmology sounds very cool to me. But finding @a-dinosaur-a-day on Tumblr made me remember my dino phase in middle school! I'm less interested in learning about individual dinosaurs and more on the big-picture evolutionary side of things, but the schools I want to transfer to don't have geology majors and I prefer physics over bio. Also, paleontology is a neat combination of history and science! Tbh, I'm still figuring out what I want to do science-wise, but I know it's something that I'd find interesting as a job!

Choir/Band/Singer/Theater: I'm a singer but I don't want it to be my main job, job, since I'm never wanted to be a super famous, but I do like singing and I'm good at it, so I could always make money on the side. Also I've also preferred singing in choir than solo rep, so if I joined a travling choir or band with an emphasis on harmony(like abba for ex), I think that would be really fun as a job for a while. As far as solo singing, I prefer musical theater so I can see myself doing that for a bit(even if it is ensemble since I like that kind of thing), and who knows, I am intrested in writing some solo music, but I haven't really done that

Composer: I want to learn how to compose music but I haven't. Oddly enough, I am more interested in composing instrumental stuff than songwriter music, tho I do want to do that. Or compose musicals, especially one in Spanish, that would be so cool. Tho I'd probably have to work with a lyricist. Even if it's not my main job, I'd love to do it on the side

Sound Design: Now this one you can blame on tma. I listened to the Q&As where they talk about Sound Design, it's absolutely fascinating to me, plus, if I learn how to compose, both could work pretty good together!

Art: Idk if I want to be an artist for a job, but once I'm good enough at drawing, I'd love to do commissions, or if I learn how to animate, working on an indie animation project would be such a cool thing! Or do a comic! I'd love to do a comic, doesn't even have to be my story! Years down the line, after graduating, I want to go back to school and get some degree in art! Doesn't need to be from an expensive school, probably will be from some local college near me at the time. Not that you need one to be a professional, but I find I learn best in a school setting and it's something I'd love to do to improve my art!

23: My relationship with my sibling(s)

Oldest to youngest! My older brother didn't grow up with me but we visted his house alot! Tbh, I'm closer to my niece than I am him. He's got some beliefs/politics I don't agree with and he can be intense sometimes, but generally I have a good relationship with him. I don't talk to him much tho. And he's homophobic, so yah, don't plan to be too close to him anyway. Next should be my other brother but he died when I was 4, and he was in Cuba so I have no memories of him, so neutral I guess. Things were pretty rocky with my older sister growing up but we're pretty good now! She's like the one "adult figure"(I'm an adult but you know what I mean) in my life that I feel the most comfortable around. Then my twin is the person I'm the closest to. Yah we bicker and stuff, and we do things that the other doesn't like, but overall I'm the most comfortable around her. I also feel like she's the person who understands me the most, I genuinely don't know how I would've been in middle school if my twin didn't exist. Idk if anyone remembers the scene in the season 3 final of Bright Sessions, but you know when Mark goes to Adam's room and they sit and silence and Mark is like"I know we both know what we're feeling but we should still talk about what happened" I feel like that's kinda my twin and I. Anyways, I love my sisters very much!

24: My relationship with my parent(s)

Kinda rocky and I don't want to get into it too much but they're immigrant parents™. However, for literal boomers, they're actually pretty good. I'd say they're good parents but there's alot about them that frustrates me. Also living with them makes problems exacerbated. They're trying their best to understand me, but they don't and I don't feel comfortable talking to them about my problems with them. I'm also not out to them, so there's always a part of me they're not really seeing. But when it matters they're there. And they've been pretty supportive of me being in the arts. My dad was also pretty present in my life, which sucks that I have to specify, but I do.

44: A random fact about anything

There are two versions of the Latino dub of Sleeping Beauty and people fight about I think. I grew up with the 2001 ver but people prefer the original 1959 dubbing. My preliminary stance on this without having seen the full 1959 dub and only some clips is that the Queen's acting is better in 1959, but the songs are bettered dubbed in the 2001 version(suck it up nostalgia is winning)
