I had a dream, now tell me if there's a fic of Cang Qiong Peak Lords turning into cats and finding them selves in the dubious care of an unknowing Shen Jiu. He's not the best caretaker but Shen Jiu is surprisingly more verbal with pets, while his students feed and pamper their shizun's surprising strays. Yue Qingyuan takes complete shameless advantage of not being shooed away as a cat when he would've been as a human. I think there was something about Shen Jiu finding them outside the Peak, and then bringing them briefly in the Warm Red Pavilion, I don't understand the timeline of my dreams, who knows what reason why no one noticed the dissapearance of the Lords. And I think Qiu Haitang made a brief appearance, as well as Liu Qingge causing Shen Jiu to meet Gongyi Xiao.

This was all Shang Qinghua's fault, of course.

I have an absolutely splendid fanfiction idea! Hear me out, it's a modern-day high school AU. The year is 2023, and there's this kid who's really into fandom. They read fanfiction, participate in the discussions online, they might roleplay if that's what you're into, etc., etc. (Also, they probably have a Tumblr account, just sayin'.) They're in a new school for whatever reason when they hear some kids talking behind them in class. They're only paying attention to the conversation because they heard the words 'fanfiction,' 'fandom,' and 'Wattpad' thrown around. Then the kids start talking about one of their past partners. A Wattpad boyfriend/girlfriend when they were 13. Now Character A is super intrigued because they, too, had one of those. B goes on and on about their partner when it's revealed that they never really got over Wattpad Lover because they didn't actually end things. B has been trying to find them all these years! And then A is hit with a sudden and shocking realization: They are the Wattpad Lover! And then it's just a story about falling in love with your first love for a second time.

I always laugh because there was a tweet last night (that was actually annoying and got ratio’d) that said “I just saw Harry and Olivia kiss, I’m so sad” and the quote were full of people like “that never happened, you’re lying” I mean, the person who tweeted it was annoying too because why is she still bothered by seeing them together after 2 years but anyways. But so many people called her a liar or were rude to her, called her delusional or blind. They were watching that front facing video of H&O during wolf Alice where they were standing next to each other and Harry looks down and then whispers something in Olivia’s ear. Like it was obvious that wasn’t a kiss but that didn’t mean the person didn’t see them actually kissing during a different moment. The fan who tweeted she saw them kiss was actually at the show witnessing it with her own two eyes and had tons of people telling her she was a liar.

Cut to today - a new video just came out from a different angle, at a different time than the first video was taken, and he 100% kisses her. It’s as Wolf Alice is finishing their set and Harry is going backstage to change. He kisses her goodbye as they both head off - him to get dressed and her to chill out and wait for the show to start. It’s almost like the haters set themselves up with that. They always make these claims that something absolutely did or did not happen and then they are proven wrong almost immediately. They really should know better by now but it’s comical how much reality smacks them in the face over and over.

Why do people even bother at this point 🤦🏾‍♀️ I have a hard time understanding how they simultaneously believe it's all for publicity but then always fly off the handle and come in strong with the denial that they were seen together or were being affectionate or whatever else. Like if you truly honestly believe it's PR, why would that stuff bother you? Shouldn't you expect that? Unless the facade is cracking and you're realizing they've actually been in a real relationship for nearly two years and they actually spend a lot of time together and genuinely love each other and you can't take it 😳
