Tristan & Juquia - Their Flowers and their Meaning (in their relationship)

Tristan and Juquias Flowers are pretty basic with Tristan having the red Rose and Juquia the Daisy. But besides that it fits for both of them, not only in meaning but appearance, I also think the way how humble and „basic“ it is, it reflect their relationship very well.

Tristans Flower - A Red Rose, who is more dark and has slight dark tips

Tristan, a man marked by passion and love from his past, is actually someone so beautiful you don’t want to just approach him. You maybe even simply can’t. The thorns symbolise his own isolation on that as well. He is a dark red rose as he is not only known for love and passion, but the dark red rose stands for itself for Loyalty and eternal Beauty. While Fate goes more with the depiction that Tristan betrayed one Isolde, I think it signalised more that he was loyal in another way - Thought the Tristan of my Story is more Gottfried von Straßburg based which works more with the theme of Loyalty, especially for Tristan. The black tips here stand rather for Tristans condition being trapped in insecurities, anxiety and depression. Something that might make his beauty faint a bit.

This paired with the fact roses start blooming in Mai, a reference to the Maifest where his parents met each other and fell in love, the start of their romance and the very core beginning of Tristans existence with them making love later which leads to pregnancy with roses also having their main blooming time during June and July, with June being also the release month of the Tristan and Isolde Opera. Also Juquia has her Birthday in July, once could say he blooms the strongest for her.

Also a fun fact, in my language I often say „Tristannuss“ meaning „Tristan-Nut“ coming from Drystanus/Drustanus - Funnily the Rose fruits, the Hagebutte, belong to the family of nuts haha.

Juquias Flower - The Daisy, one with pink/bright red tips

Juquia is the Daisy. Nothing special. At least at first. Daisies are one of the most seen flowers, people often call it „the Persistent/the Persevering“ with Juquia being always there, even with the curse, no especially because of the curse that won’t let her just die. She stays alive for as long as possible. Juquia is someone who gained a strong healing power, funnily the Daisies are also said to be having strong regeneration powers and being used for healing.

While Daisies also can stand for innocence and being pure, which would fit to Juquias core, it also can stand for being humble and trust. Coming to Juquias Wish of just having one person on her life she can trust and who likes her for who she is and who can stay at her side, plus the trust she did put in the world especially the clock tower it makes sense, even if she seems pessimistic at core. In some terms the Daisy can also stand for beauty. A persistent beauty. This is something rather how Tristan is perceiving her. Juquia sees herself rather as small, not special and not noticeable and easily replaceable. When a daisy is used as Fortune Teller, for the petal Game, Juquia sees herself as always the bad outcome with her curse bringing bad luck to the people around her. But it also contains her inner fear of in the end being just used, when bringing good fortune, being robbed of everything that makes her whole to be thrown away afterwards. So she is alright with not being noticeable.

The pink tips stand for Juquia still being a romantic person who yearns for companionship, who daydreams about happiness and love in its purest form. And especially with Tristan she let this love in her life.

In the core, both are more seen as basic flower. Nothing special. And probably that is what TrisQuia is. For someone where they can be themselves without worrying to lose this happiness in an instant.

And while both flowers represent their „ugly“ parts it also shows their simple beauty. Especially for each other.

An Amateur Cartomancy Reading of The Hazbin Hotel Deck

Looking into the possible meanings (if they exist) behind the character choices of the Official Hazbin Hotel Playing Card Deck This is just for fun, I have an interest in Tarot and Cartomancy, but am not a practitioner myself, if you see this and are a practitioner, feel free to comment or even tag me in your own posts on the subject. It's something that I've always had an interest in since I was teenager and I’d love to hear what you have to say!

Also this is just as a fun exercise, and in truth it's difficult to make accurate readings when much of cartomancy has to do with how the cards are drawn, what cards are drawn next to them, and the context of the question being asked So we're taking this already from only a partial read of the cards themselves.

Alright? Alright let’s go!!!

As you can see the Exorcists here are Jokers, the Trump card to beat all cards, a black and red Joker card also represent the Beginning of a Journey in cartomancy. I think the symbolism is pretty obvious here, not just as a Trump card, but as the Exterminations are what kicks off Charlie’s Story.

Now the deck comes with 3 unique suits, and one classic: Pentagrams, Keys (or Keekees), Hearts and Apples

Now interesting is the Hearts are normal suit so we can directly make comparisons. And since the other red suit is Pentagrams we can slot that in to represent

As for The Clubs and The Spades:

After reviewing both Apple and Keys I am 90% sure that if they're meant to sync up well with their characters then I believe that Apples are The Clubs and Keys are The Spades and this will be my assumption moving forward

Now moving forward this Hellish deck also wouldn't be complete without a special something for its 6s Each 6 has a special lil graphic that gives a small hint for who the king of each suit is. (Except for Pentagrams....maybe...)

Let's start with 6 of Pentagrams. Decorated with hellish eyes. Compared with The Diamonds which often represents money. The 6 of Diamonds represents "what goes around comes around", that you might be being misled by others or even yourself.

The Heart Suit represents Relationships and social aspects of Society The 6 of Hearts is the "Law of Love", a knack for big business that doesn't believe in luck As you can see it looks insectid, with a shiny glassy heart in the middle

The Keys have a familiar looking upside-down cross. The Spades are a Trump suit and the considered most valuable suit. They represent partnership and noble soldiers The 6 of Spades Represents tremendous potential is here if you're willing to accept the responsibility

Side note look at the Worm-Snake taking a bite outta the apple! So cute!!

The Clubs suit represents achievement through work, as well as evoking positive futures The 6 of Clubs is the Messengers Card, a call to duty, temptation of lethargy will tempt this person, but if they overcome it triumph over a great foe will be achieved

Charlie here is our Ace of Apples

Ace of Clubs - Positivity, love, fosters learning, it also can represent an important location (like a hotel?) Which need I say more? That’s pretty on the nose there

Next up is the Jack of Apples Razzle and Dazzle!

Fun Fact about these guys is that they aren't printed twice flipped, they legit Razzle and Dazzle

Jack of The Clubs is known as the Lucky Card! Supposedly it brings happiness and good fortune. It often heralds in a new opportunity

The Queen of Apples is the Queen of Hell Lilith

The Queen of The Clubs is a woman who stands for justice, truth and change. She is a symbol of the need to take action.

Which...is interesting if you look at a blink and you miss it poster in the pilot...hmmm

The King of Apples is of course Lucifer

The King of Clubs is a symbol of taking charge, of determination, and of attracting the attention of someone influential in the world. In cartomancy drawing a King of Clubs means Be Assertive and your goal is within reach which is and interesting possibility for Charlie, that she might need to be Assertive to her father to allow her goal to succeed It's also interesting considering how Lucifer became ruler of hell in the first place, by being Assertive to his father.

Next up Hearts Suit

Ace of Hearts is Cherri Bomb!

As an Ace of Hearts this card represents new love or the start of an emotional journey. This card represents love, happiness and celebration and a strong foundation

(Also there's a tiny Cherri on the bomb and I think that's adorable)

The Jack of Hearts is our dear Spider Boi

The Jack of Hearts represents a person who's going through a difficult time, but will overcome it and start fresh. It is also said that this card represents a man pining for an unobtainable lover or an unrequited love.

The Queen of Hearts is our lovely Velvet of the triple Vs

Interestingly she has her phone as the centerpiece with a little like heart popping off it. Culturally the Queen of Hearts is associated with a chop happy character from Wonderland. Which might be some inspiration here.

But what does it mean? The Queen of Hearts indicates someone with a magnetic personality, the sweetheart, the adored daughter, the favorite sister, the beloved mother. Drawing this card usually is an indication that you are loved, but perhaps require self care yourself

Leaving us with our King of Hearts, Valentino himself

Also known as the Suicide King the King of Hearts is always shown with their weapon (usually a sword) going through their head. Interestingly no weapon is seen, but! -he is holding his signature cigarette whose smoke is implied have some sort of control over Angel Dust.

We'll see when the series comes out, but if his use of this smoke ends up being his undoing I get to say I called it...sorta

That's lovely but what does the King of Hearts MEAN? Well in Cartomancy this King often represents a loyal romantic partner. Which....yeah, who knows I guess.

But it also is an omen that BIG change is coming, could be good or bad, but it is coming and there's no stopping it

Now onto the Key Suit which again we’re using Spades for

Ace of Keys is best girl Vaggie

Vaggie is our Ace of Spades and she looks amazing! Now the Ace of being one of the most important cards in the card is often more elaborate looking, and you can definitely see more attention placed on the colors and defined shape then with the other cards

Ace of Spades is known as the semi mythological Black Spot (no really this was used as the black spot in Caribbean piracy) also known as the Death Card And if your wondering why called it a semi myth, it's because the Black Spot as we know it was invented by the book Treasure Island

Feel free to Google that if you don't believe me, fun little trivia fact for the day

In Cartomancy tho the Card is not a reference to Death, but instead Loyalty. Many Spades Cards represent hardships of some sort. With the Ace representing deep personal troubles.

Jack of Keys belongs to our grumpy boi Husk

Ofcourse he's got card in the center, interestingly it appears to be a 2 of Hearts which means romantic love between 2 people I'm also 90% sure this isn't the first time he's been seen with the 2 of Heart's either..can't confirm tho

In cartomancy the well positioned Jack of Spades is kind of an unstoppable force; primed for success, but that itself is primed to be their downfall The Jack of Spades is often described as a con man, they are sharp and clever, but if they're not careful they will play themselves

Time for the Queen of Keys! Nifty!

Look she's even stabbing the bug from the pilot!

The Queen of Spades is intelligent and clever, using her creativity and organization to outsmart her opponent

The Queen of Spades however is also considered an unlucky card that represents death & change

Also fun fact the Queen of Spades considered the dark mirror of the Queen of Hearts So these two crazy gremlins might be foils to each other

Lastly is The King of Keys, Alastor

The King of Spades is the 'Top Card of the Deck' and represents Power and Self Mastery, Mind over Matter, Head over Heart, and how these powers can be used for creation or destruction

Also ironically depending on how it's drawn The King of Spades can also represent an obstacle or problem in the work place and if that's not a little on the nose I don't know what is

Onto the Pentagrams which we’re again using Diamonds for

Ace of Pentagrams is Helsa Von Eldritch, an apparent rival to Charlie, who is Ace of Apples

Diamonds itself represents money and the Ace of Diamonds is all about Value and Wealth. It is a warning about when money becomes more important than people

The Jack of Pentagramssss issss our dear Sssir Pentiousssss

Jack of Diamonds typically represent someone who is always fidgeting and working with their hands. Very smart and productive.

It's a card that often flip flops on whether it means good or bad luck. And it sometimes represents crime and even deception! Generally tho the Jack of Diamonds is potential just waiting to be realized

Queen of Pentagrams is my gurl Rosie

Queen of Diamonds typically represent a philanthropist contributing their wealth to the arts. They typically are used to mean your relationship between yourself and a wealthy benefactor

And lastly drum roll everyone, the King of Pentagrams Vox

The King of Diamonds is a shrewd cunning business man. A "wheeler dealer" type. The King cards represent Power and Diamonds represent money and that's what the King has in spades. The King of Diamond's is willing to gamble cause they have all the money in the world, and they rarely ever lose.

With that I close off this reading. Like I said on my first post this is coming from someone who's not a professional at this sort of thing, and this was more or less for fun.

There are 10 levels, the usser levels up by completing missions, which consist of winning battles, completing exercises, and things like that, unlocking a level unlocks 10 new weapons and improves some skills from previous levels. The levels are differentiated not only by the name but also by the "skin" which is noticeable in the figures that light up in the eyes, the horns or headsets made of pixels, and sometimes in the form of bright marks on the skin. Weapons, barriers and screens are made of pixels, which come out of the body, in the case of weapons, these come out of compartments that come out from under the skin when the bearer decides to use them, the rest of the time these compartments are not visible nor can they be felt. fire weapons have three types of bullets, real and expanding bullets, rubber bullets, and special bullets, which are essentially like sleeping darts that only work when the bullet hits the target's head.

The story

*Mandatory reminder that I’m no flower specialist, which means these are all very subjective opinions. Take everything with a grain of salt!

He either has lilac, ivory, or white roses (sorry but I’m never sure if it’s the shading or lighting but I’m always so unsure when they’re doing anything pale-colored.) Lavender/lilac roses stand for adoration, fascination, mystery, and enchantment, as well as eternity and a long life/quality of life. They’re usually given to those overcoming an illness, or for an anniversary (in which case their meaning changes to that of happiness (of being together)). The meaning of lilac roses generally is a bit vague, but if one looks at purple roses (even though they’re a much deeper color than what we can see in Azul’s bouquet) the flower language probably fits him/the values of the Sea Witch best, since purple is associated with power, prestige, and great achievement, as well as deep understanding and compassion. Ivory roses, on the other hand, represent luxury, charm and elegance, as well as thoughtfulness, grace, and perfection. They’re typically given as a gift to someone with excellent taste and style, as well as to show you care about the recipient without romantic connotations. White roses symbolize loyalty, purity, and innocence, as well as a new start/new beginnings and eternal love. While they’re popular wedding or funeral flowers, when they’re not given on a special occasion they’re supposed to convey appreciation for the recipient’s support and/or guidance. Or they’re gifted as a symbol of good heath to those struggling or to wish the recipient a prosperous future. Another thing to note is that the number of roses holds symbolic meaning as well. Azul has four roses – the reading of which is “nothing will come between us.”

On the left side of his bouquet he has clematis, which symbolize beauty of ingenuity and mental strength, ambition, wisdom, agility, and mischief. Since it squashes other flowers when it climbs to its full height it’s also used to represent mischief, deception, and egotism.

The silvery-purple thin ones next to the clematis are eremophila nivea, which, as far as I could gather, have no real symbolic meaning. They’re desert and solitude loving plants that have the ability to persist under the most undesirable conditions. It’s a popular ornamental plant, that’s tolerant of most soil.

White clovers are known for their use as good luck charms, but it’s also said they can ward off evil spirits. They also symbolize protection and (improvement of) love. Their essence can help overcome fears and a sense of inadequacy, live through change, as well as reducing fear of abandonment and failure.

The hydrangea on the right side of his bouquet symbolize a desire to understand someone deeply, as well as luxury, grace, pride, compassion and understanding (and a deep concern for others’ wellbeing). It also represents wealth, richness and fortune. In Europe they’re more associated with pride since they’re usually given to people who have been married for many years (this might be an allusion to his relationship with the tweels?) Hydrangeas can also symbolize elegance, gratitude, apology, vanity, bragging, vanity, and boastfulness.

Lavender represents purity, devotion, calmness, grace, elegance, refinement, and luxury. Since they’re often used as infusions or fragrance to induce a sense of tranquility they’re associated with serenity and virtue. It can also stand for undying love.

Other meanings include creativity, open-mindedness, as a symbol to encourage acceptance and understanding, a celebration of diversity and equality, as well as compassion and an empathetic state of mind.

Eucalyptus are a symbol of strength, protection, resilience, adaptability, and abundance. They’re said to purify negative energy, though they can also invoke good health and protection. Other symbolism associated with eucalyptus are that of inner and outer strength, as well as leadership.

Naturally, these are only my un-educated guesses, but feel free to let me know if I got anything wrong/what flowers I might’ve missed.

Maybe Skywings have like special painters who have been trained since birth and it’s believed that these painters will paint certain patterns based on their predictions for the future ( all the predictions are good of course since it’s a fun festival and all lol ) I don’t think I have ideas for all of them but they never paint patterns like stars or Seawing swirls because they believe it’s a bad luck omen.

Some of the patterns include, Sunset, meaning new beginnings, Mountains, which can mean a peaceful reincarnation but some Skywing groups with less religious beliefs have different meanings for it, the Midday sun which represents joy and happiness, clouds which represent freedom, etc.

However, these painted wing patterns aren’t just predictions, they also sort you into racing teams, not all skywings participate but those who want to join their team in a tournament bracket style where they race through a flight based race course in the mountains set up beforehand. It is commonly believed that Skywings with fire painted wings often win the race, some believe it’s because of the meaning behind the painting and some Skywing believes it’s a conspiracy.

At the end of the festival, the current Queen will light a torch in the mouth of the statue of the First Queen of Skies, and all the Skywings who can will fly together in the sky in a spiral like pattern, twirling and dancing into the night until they slowly fizzle out and go home. It is said that night, that the current Queen with go and pray to the statue of the First Queen of Skies, before carefully putting out the torch and going to bed at dawn.

In more recent years, Skywing inventors have been working long and hard hours to create fake wings or gliders for the wingless skywings of the Kingdom so they can glide from the top of a mountain at the beginning of the ceremony for a new section of the ceremony. While there still is disability discrimination in the Sky Kingdom, the current Queen has been working to revise many laws and include disabled dragons in her events, due to missing one of her wings herself.

Chewing her lip, Jangmi looks at the items in her arms, trying to juggle them around so she can knock on his door. She know Chan is home, after months together, she knows his routine just as well as he knows hers.

The fox didn’t tell him that she was coming because then he would have picked her up and that would have ruined the surprise. It’s a bit early, she knows and she has things prepared for next month but… something lately had been telling her that she needs to give Chan something special.

He’s been her rock, a lot of her support and strength and her Alpha. He will say it is all a part of who he is but Jangmi knows that it isn’t fair for him to be there for her whenever she calls but she can’t be there for him.

Knock, knock, knock.

Waits.

When the wolf opens the door, the slight surprise in his eyes and the smile on his face is enough for Jangmi to be filled with pride at having given him a surprise for once. “Special delivery for a Mr Bahng Chan!” She giggles as she holds out the bundles in her arms and once Chan had taken them and invited her inside, she skips in, tail flowing as freely as her dress, and makes her way to his living room. “Quick, quick, Alpha!!” She plops down on his couch and pats the space next to her.

Once the gifts are opened, one by one, Jangmi explains with a very proud expression.

“The necklace I thought fit you! I know you have lots of bracelets but… I thought maybe a necklace would be something you wear all the time too. Something different! Well, crescent moons mean a lot of things, depending on where you look but…” she looks nervously at her hands, scared he might be annoyed by the definition she felt was relevant. “It means good luck, it can be a protection from anything negative but it also represents a fresh start. The ebb and flow of life and the need to embrace change. This is a waxing crescent, I think the lady said, so it means to breathe life into your dreams and connect with your universe… or something like that!”

Letting that settle for a bit, she clears her throat and smiles as she points at the keyboard she had bought. “This is a MIDI board! Every producer needs one of these and I’m sure you have plenty but this is a new model and is PORTABLE!! You can take it everywhere! As much as I don’t like you working all the time, it’s something you love and so… I want to support!” Jangmi smiles at Chan, hopeful that he loves them and all the thought she put into this.

“I don’t think I ever told you this, Alpha. I know it’s unspoken between us but I want to say it! I love you! You’re my best friend, my Alpha and you are a safety that nobody has given me before! You are the most amazing person I have ever met and I don’t know where I would be without you!” She pauses for a moment, ears falling flat onto her head as she shakes it. “I know where I would be and it wouldn’t be as happy as I am now.” And with that, the little fox hugs her Alpha tightly, conveying all the love she holds in her heart for someone as precious to her as he is.

Kol wears diapers with cute designs. You know Hayley couldn't resist herself. Elijah would probably buy the standard plain ones but she thinks they're so adorable. Kol really doesn't care either way, so he just goes along with it.

I won't be adding more children's furniture. I wanted to use Kol to represent Littles who may not have that "look". He really doesn't like to wear younger outfits or play with toys (outside his sensory stuff). When he regresses, he's usually very cuddly and just needs that one on one attention.

Hayley's wolf side also comes into play here. Wolves are always with their young. They hold them, feed them, bring them everywhere. When Kol's dropped, she's usually holding him on her lap to feed him. It's the same with co-sleeping. Yes, Kol has a child-like bed now, but he's still in Hayley and Elijah's most nights, snuggled up between them.

What does it mean when you are dreaming about your pets that have passed away? I used to have three cats, a mom, and her two cats. One of them is 18 and still alive.

I had two dreams a few days after the death of my first cat, she was the daughter. The first dream was that I was in the bathroom, it was dark, and I listen to my mom's voice asking "Where is (name of the cat)?" Nothing happened and then she says "There she is" and I see her from the bathroom running really fast, it was like a silhouette but I knew it was her. In the second dream, I was in my backyard, daytime, and I hear my mom's voice asking the same thing "Where is (name of the cat)?", I hear a voice saying, "There she is". She was on our next-door neighbor's roof, a place where my cats used to hang out, and she was behind 5 little kittens, and I hear the same voice saying "She is taking care of them now", and while that voice is saying that, my cat is looking at me affirming that she is taking care of them. The 5 kittens are very significant because when her mom was in surgery to get her sterilized, she was pregnant with 5 kittens and no one knew, and the vet told us that it was too late to save them.

A few days after her mom died, I was begging her to send me a sign, to appear in my dreams because we were really close, she slept with me and we had a special bond, even though she had a temper, LOL. One day I dreamed that she was cuddling with me, and short things, she is there when I miss her. Sometimes a feel her next to me when I am awake.

I used to have a dog too. She was really special too because we grew old together and her death was really sad of course because she was really sick. I didn't dream of her after her death (+7 years ago), until a few months ago, and she was under my bed and disappeared, and she was making an effort to be next to me, but vanished. She was struggling to be with me, and she was happy next to me but disappeared.

I know it's a long post, and I am sorry, but I have always wanted to know the meaning of those dreams.

Her entire team is built around her character from the Windows Era of Touhou. Not PC-98. I actually want to take a moment to explain my choices. For those who don’t know what I’m talking about, this is the post right here.

Shuppet

I chose Shuppet as Reimu’s first Pokemon due to the nature of shrine maidens both in real life and in Pokemon. Shrine maidens in Pokemon follow their real life counterparts very closely, serving as mediums and shamans that channel the word of spirits.

Shuppet in particular was chosen because shrine maidens in real life had a tool known as gehōbako. Supernatural box that contains prayer beads, human or animal skulls, and dolls.

Meowth

This one is pretty self-explanatory if you’re familiar with Reimu as a character. A cat to bring some good luck and fortune to the shrine.

Chimeco

The reason behind Chimeco is the fact that bells are a very common sound to hear at shrines, as well as being used as tools by shrine maidens. They’re used in rituals for spiritual healing or cleansing, so it’s kind of perfect.

Xatu

Xatu is a Pokemon that can see the future, and is the most shaman-like Pokemon that I can think of in this regard. As a psychic type, I don’t think it’s too far fetched to think that it can spot ghosts as well.

Phantump

Another ghost type for the roster. Phantump is a Pokemon that’s the spirit of a deceased child that lost its life in a forest. It’d be a lot less troublesome compared to other ghost Pokemon, so Reimu would be happy to take it in.

Shedinja

I chose this one because not only is it a ghost-type, but also it reflects Reimu’s skills in the Touhou games rather well. Danmaku is a game of dodging, and what better Pokemon to represent that than a Pokemon that can hardly get hit by anything? And like Touhou, it goes down if it gets hit even once.

Now, here are two more Pokemon I would like Reimu to have, but it would be a bit difficult without some space-time shenanigans.

Hisuian Growlithe

Of course regular Growlithe and Arcanine are also based of the legendary lion dogs seen in shrines, but their Hisuian counterparts reflect this much better.

Once again, a ghost-type which is what Reimu specializes in. I could see Hisuian Zoroark being a challenge that Reimu has to face, and one that she has to capture. Something to reflect a shrine maiden facing off a very powerful youkai.

Anyway, here's some AV2 nymphs appreciation and discussion.

The nymphs are the ones who seem to represent the base traits of a sentient being in Aia. These traits are love, compassion, hope, luck, wisdom, and wickedness. There being only six traits and nymphs could be a simplification, but also, it speaks of the simplicity of Aia's design. Not to mention, this simplicity works for a series designed for older kids and young teens.

Among these nymphs, four keep a fairy-like appearance - Ceri, Nuha, Aisling, and Serendipity - and two keep a more humanoid form - Ishtar and Heptitus. Interestingly, the four fairy-like nymphs do not have the capacity to fight for and rescue themselves; Ishtar and Heptitus meanwhile can adequately stand in battle. Is this because the two are mother's special snowflakes, or because Heptitus, as the only one who represents a "bad" trait, has magic powerful enough to seal her siblings' own magic away whenever she wants to? We do not know; we can only ponder.

It does beg a question though: do the other nymphs knew it was Heptitus all along? Probably. They know Ishtar's doing some nefarious deeds lately, but not even they did anything to stop that. Also, there's more of them who err towards the good side, so there's no real shortage of good people in Aia who would step up against the threat of the world.

I do have a fanciful thought about this matter, though. At the time of AV2, belief in the Oracle and Aveyond is dying. If Aveyond goes down, then surely, soon will the other realms, and one day everything will cease to exist. Not very fun at all.

The whole scenario of Ishtar taking over Shaenlir then may have been a ploy by Heptitus - or the nymph siblings really - to revive the religion and save the rest of Aia. And when Ishtar becoming Queen of Shaenlir wasn't enough to rouse capable heroes from around the realm, Heptitus then had her sisters kidnapped or trapped. Not even the Oracle resents her daughters for the trouble they caused, nor does she really lift a finger to help out Ean and Iya beyond a small bit of guidance at two points in the story.

Besides that, it is quite cute to see where the nymph sisters have chosen to reside. Ishtar of Compassion lives in snowy climates but rules as a Queen to the nearby communities (Thornkeep and Shaenlir), likely to be their guide (and while they didn't notice their queen was evil, Shaenlir seemed happy to have Ishtar as Queen nonetheless). Heptitus of Wickedness resides as the idol and model of seemingly all witches and warlocks who delight in trickery, mischief, and acting. Ceri of Love lives in the garden of the castle of Candar, City of Love, and its gardener helps her keep her privacy. Nuha of Wisdom once lived among the militant squirrel, who might've been crazy, but also very technologically advanced. Aisling of Hope lives next to a town of fairytale expectations. Serendipity of Luck lives next to a town of elves - what luck for elves of another realm to find elves on the human realm!

Basically, there was some logic to their design. And they made for very good and sufficient lore and worldbuilding for Aveyond 2, especially for Iya's character. They’re delightful part of Aia and I wish people would see them and AV2 in general in a better light.
