Deliverance for Jerusalem
1 Awake! awake! put on your strength, O Zion; put on your beautiful robes, O Jerusalem, the holy town: for from now there will never again come into you the unclean and those without circumcision. 2 Make yourself clean from the dust; up! and take the seat of your power, O Jerusalem: the bands of your neck are loose, O prisoned daughter of Zion. 3 For the Lord says, You were given for nothing, and you will be made free without price. 4 For the Lord God says, My people went down at first into Egypt, to get a place for themselves there: and the Assyrian put a cruel yoke on them without cause. 5 Now then, what have I here? says the Lord, for my people are taken away without cause; they are made waste and give cries of sorrow, says the Lord, and all the day the nations put shame on my name. 6 For this cause I will make my name clear to my people; in that day they will be certain that it is my word which comes to them; see, here am I. 7 How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of him who comes with good news, who gives word of peace, saying that salvation is near; who says to Zion, Your God is ruling! 8 The voice of your watchmen! their voices are loud in song together; for they will see him, eye to eye, when the Lord comes back to Zion. 9 Give sounds of joy, make melody together, waste places of Jerusalem: for the Lord has given comfort to his people, he has taken up the cause of Jerusalem. 10 The Lord has let his holy arm be seen by the eyes of all nations; and all the ends of the earth will see the salvation of our God. 11 Away! away! go out from there, touching no unclean thing; go out from among her; be clean, you who take up the vessels of the Lord. 12 For you will not go out suddenly, and you will not go in flight: for the Lord will go before you, and the God of Israel will come after you to keep you. 13 See, my servant will do well in his undertakings, he will be honoured, and lifted up, and be very high. 14 As peoples were surprised at him, And his face was not beautiful, so as to be desired: his face was so changed by disease as to be unlike that of a man, and his form was no longer that of the sons of men. 15 So will nations give him honour; kings will keep quiet because of him: for what had not been made clear to them they will see; and they will give their minds to what had not come to their ears. — Isaiah 52 | Bible in Basic English (BBE) The Bible in Basic English is in the public domain. Isaiah 52: The Fourth Servant Song
The only way for guilt to be removed is for something definite to happen, a definite cleansing by a power strong enough to tackle the stain of sin, by the only One Who understands and can bring about real justice and true mercy. #Isaiah52 #ServantSong
If Only Wishes Were Nickels The rest of this chapter reminds me of a movie I watched with one my daughters years ago, when she was in college and had come home for the weekend. The film we chose was about a woman who was trying to find some meaning, some joy in her life. In the course of her pursuit, she betrayed and terribly hurt the people who were closest to her. She was sorry about hurting…

This is my Happy New Year’s greeting to all; and I pray that we all this year – join in the unity, simplicity and love of the Holy Spirit of Jesus/Yhswh the Christ, the Lord of all the Earth. And if you do not yet know Him - He's only a breath away & anxious for our attentions.
As we begin our journey into the year 2023, we must EXPECT CHANGE, Joyous Change!
For a thousand years now, since the Inquisitions killed off everyone capable of passing down information about the first thousand years A.D. -   Bible students and ministers have made up their own theories regarding Earth’s Ages and doctrines of the Bible; and very few agree on the same things!
But when Jesus comes back for our generation His ministers will be seeing eye to eye – says Isaiah in chapter 52 linked with Psalm 102:12-18 (written by David for a generation to come; a people which would be created).  AlleluJAH!

Encouraging trust in God through the good news of the Kingdom
Encouraging trust in God through the good news of the Kingdom
Our objective is to overcome the stereotypes of Christianity to share the message of righteousness in the Kingdom of God. It has been said that in order to trust someone, you have to know them. If this is true, then the same standard holds true for Yahweh and his Messiah. How can anyone trust God if they don’t know about him and what he has done throughout history? How can anyone trust in…

ISAIAH S.O.A.P. ~ CHAPTER 52
Tuesday, 6/28/22
SCRIPTURE:
But you will not go out in a hurry, Nor will you go as fugitives; For the Lord will go before you, And the God of Israel will be your rear guard. ~ Isaiah 52:12
OBSERVATION:
I will not go out in a hurry - His timing is not rushed...
I will not go out as a fugitive - He has rescued me... He is not pursuing me to punish me...
The Lord will go before me and be my rear guard... His protection surrounds me...
APPLICATION:
Relax into and prepare for His timing...
Go out as one rescued and unafraid...
Remember His protection and live as one protected...
PRAYER:
Protecting Heavenly Father God - forgive my rushing and hurrying to accomplish my tasks instead of standing in Your grace to move as You command - for living fearfully and in hiding instead of boldly in Your power... Thank You for Your surrounding presence and may I take Your Spirit's comfort in acting for Your kingdom's coming... as Jesus gave His life over to Your will in all things, may I do the same in everything You call me to do... In His Name, and for Your worshipful honor and glory and praise...
===========+++++==========
Please... pray each other...
Expectantly and gratefully yours - through Him...

Lamentations 3.30 ~ His Cheek
Lamentations 3.30 ~ His Cheek
He giveth his cheek to him that smiteth him: "As many were astonied at thee; His visage was so marred more than any man, And his form more than the sons of men." He is filled full with reproach.

“How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion, “Your God reigns!” —Isaiah 52:7 (NIV)
“Find Joy In All Things” Devotional (Day 2 of 5) By Melissa B. Kruger - “Saving Grace.”
“Let’s go back to the beginning of Paul’s ministry, when God laid the foundation for Paul’s joy. Not only did God change Paul’s heart, but He also set him apart as an apostle, giving him the calling of authority in the church and, later, the privilege of writing the very words of Scripture. God intervened and transformed this man’s life, setting him on a course to share the good news of Jesus with those outside the Jewish faith. God prepared a ministry for Paul and prepared Paul for the ministry. Paul went from persecutor to preacher to persecuted.
While we are unlikely to experience a blinding light on the road to Damascus as Paul did, each of us has a story of faith that’s a miracle in its own way. Your story may be as dramatic as Paul’s, or you may have experienced a slow awakening to faith. God calls each of us to Himself in different ways. Whatever way He worked in your life, the good news is that the scales that once blinded you fell from your spiritual eyes! God has prepared a ministry for you and has prepared you for a ministry to others.
Paul met a variety of people during his time in Philippi. Lydia, for example, was a businesswoman from Thyatira, wealthy enough to invite Paul and his companions to her household. Paul also met a slave girl, fellow prisoners, and a Roman guard who shared the gospel with his entire household.
Men and women, rich and poor, religious and nonreligious, politically connected and enemies of the state. The good news of the gospel is for everyone. No one is so good that she doesn’t need the gospel, and no one is so lost that the gospel can’t find her.
Take some time today to reflect on your own story of salvation. Maybe you are just at the beginning of understanding God’s saving grace! Or maybe you know someone who needs to hear the good news of the gospel. Pray that the Lord might open his or her heart.
While the book of Philippians records a conversation between Paul and his brothers and sisters in Philippi, all of God’s Word is a letter between God and His people, as He reveals Himself throughout the ages so that all might come to Him. Who is God using in your life to bring you closer to Him?”

The threefold exaltation (raised . . . lifted up . . . highly exalted) expresses a dignity beyond what any other merits or receives and is surely intended as a clue leading to the identity of the Servant. It is impossible not to be reminded of the resurrection, ascension and heavenly exaltedness of the Lord Jesus.”

Devotional for January 6th
Be ye clean, that bear the vessels of the Lord. - Isaiah 52:11
The chosen people are at the end of the seventy years’ captivity; the time of their deliverance from Babylon has arrived. Their Almighty Deliverer, throwing back the loose sleeve of his robe, to leave his arm free, makes ready for an unusual exercise of power. There will be no need of haste as when the people fled at night from Egypt. They may not go out with haste, nor go by flight; for their Divine Leader would precede them, and his escort would be their rearguard.
This is the summons to us all who may have been in captivity to Babylon in any form. We are to arise and depart, shaking loose the bonds of our captivity. Let us follow the cloudy pillar of God’s presence guiding us continually, and let us not be always looking behind, as though dreading the recurrence of past sins and mistakes. They shall not pursue those whom God has delivered; or, if they do, they shall not overtake. It is an unspeakable comfort to those who have sinned to know that the old temptations and forms of bondage are intercepted by the presence of the Eternal God, just as his cloud intercepted Pharaoh’s host.
The one matter about which we must be scrupulously careful is our cleanliness. Of old, Cyrus entrusted Ezra with the holy vessels which Nebuchadnezzar had taken from the temple. Their custodians needed to be holy. We, too, have to bear the sacred trust of God’s holy Name and Gospel. His day, his Book, the doctrines of evangelical truth, his honor, are among the vessels which we are to carry through the world. We, too, must be holy, cleansing ourselves of all filthiness of the flesh and spirit; coming out, and not touching the unclean thing.

Isaiah 52: Beautiful Are The Feet
God knows every story, and God’s timing is perfect for every person. You and I are too finite to fully grasp the magnitude of this truth. But we are able to at least trust God with it. #Isaiah52 #BeautifulAreTheFeet
God knew God’s people had suffered terribly. God knew they had drunk to the dregs God’s purifying wrath over their sin, and it had been intensely painful. The consequences of the people’s sin were a terrible thing. And the cup God had given them was to last seventy long years. But, Isaiah prophesied, the time of their suffering would come to an end. God would now pass that cup of wrath to the…
