Oliver's last conversations with each of Farleigh, Felix, and Venetia are so consistently fascinating to me. Each of Farleigh and Venetia think that they are calling Oliver out, forcing him to face the harsh truths of his own insignificance, while Oliver stands passively by and lets them reveal their own hypocrisy before revealing the true fragility of their positions, the power that he has over their lives.
Farleigh towers over Oliver, belittling him against the backdrop of this party that is supposedly for Oliver and is full of people whose regard for Oliver spans from indifference to outright hostility. Yet while he thinks that he's giving Oliver his victory speech, gloating over the fact that it is Farleigh, not Oliver, who will stay at Saltburn after this summer, he's also admitting to the tenuous nature of his own position there. "I was invited," he tells Oliver, when Oliver questions his presence at the party, along with, "I'll always come back," and, "This is my house."
The contradiction that Farleigh doesn't even realize he's admitted to, however, is that people don't have to be invited back to their house. He's always been as much a guest as Oliver, but he's the one who can't face the possibility of getting kicked out for good. Thus, Farleigh is the one who is really clinging to hope instead of action, the one who will never be fighting quite as hard as Oliver to ensure that possibility doesn't come true.
Farleigh gloats over Oliver's loss and takes Oliver's silence as proof that he is right. When really, Oliver doesn't gloat or bluster or protest. Oliver listens to what people tell him, and then Oliver acts.
It's the same thing we see in Oliver's confrontation with Venetia in the bathtub after Felix's funeral.
Venetia is clearly devestated by her brother's loss, and she is looking for someone to lash out at. And what a convenient, easy target Oliver seems to make. So polite, so soft-spoken, so awkward and innocent and small.
A harmless moth, batting up against the windows. At the same time, a parasite, consuming what wasn't his to take. Eating holes in her family - her family who would have greedily consumed every last drop of the sad, pitiful life he fed them for their own amusement, before casting him aside like a moth-eaten sweater abandoned in the back of a closet.
She calls him out, too, for wearing Felix's aftershave (but not the fact that he's wearing Felix's bathrobe, interestingly enough), while she's the one sprawled in Felix's bathtub. "I bet you're even wearing his underwear," she tells him scornfully, and he kisses her to prove that she'll still kiss him back, that for all her mocking words she's just as desperate as he is to cling to any scraps of Felix left behind. That for all her words to the contrary, he is a scrap of Felix left behind.
And then the harmless moth puts holes in her wrists, puts her in a hole in the ground, and walks away.
In contrast, the confrontations with Farleigh and Venetia make Oliver's confrontation with Felix in the maze all the more devastating in a different way.
With Felix, Oliver isn't quiet. He isn't timid or passive or small, and he is trying desperately not to listen when it's Felix telling him to go away, to stop, to give up, with nothing else he can latch onto for hope of a different outcome. With Felix, Oliver shouts, he protests, he snarls. He loses control of his voice and his body, even pins Felix up against the minotaur statue while he begs Felix to listen to him because he doesn't know what else to do; all he has are these words that he desperately wants to be true, that Felix doesn't want to hear.
It's Felix who is forced into silence while Oliver talks, and it is Felix who finally sees the truth that Oliver can't bear to face in himself.
It's Felix who tells Oliver, "You make my fucking blood run cold."
And he's the only one who gets it right.

oliver quick being obsessed with you
tw: dark nsfw, saltburn's oliver quick x gn!reader, dubcon kissing, blackmailing, stalking, cheating (you're felix's partner), sexual themes, voyeurism, he's a creepy lil dude overall.
when he first saw you, you were sitting on felix's lap. a long arm wrapped loosely around your waist, lips stuffing promises into your ears and a coy smile plastered on your face. you looked happy, satisfied to be with felix.
he paid attention to you and to felix, how you would smooth out your hair and clothes countless times before seeing him, hiding behind a wall so he wouldn't see even the smallest flaw in your appearance.
you were all smiles around felix, squeezing his biceps when he made a joke, hearts swimming in your eyes after he kissed you. you didn't even let your smile falter when felix told you for the third time that week that he was too busy to hang out.
you looked fake, or perhaps insecure to be around someone that stole the spotlight every single time, and oliver was interested in how to break your facade.
oliver wanted to change everything in you, make things so messy and confusing you just wouldn't be around felix anymore.
befriending felix was easy when he had so much information on his life, on your life. he knew what to say to make felix intrigued, to enter his circle of friends in a way felix wouldn't be able to get him out.
getting to you was just the next natural step.
you were friendly when your boyfriend introduced oliver to you at the library, curious enough about the new friend that felix was so interested in.
you smiled at him, almost the same way you smiled at felix, and oliver could feel his stomach burn, breath quickening in desire.
"it's nice to finally meet you! i don't know what took so long." you glanced at felix as you shook hands with oliver, not seeming to notice his fingers lingering on your skin longer than the usual person would.
"you're just a busy person, it seems." oliver smiled back, sitting in front of you and felix.
oliver knew you were having relationship issues. you weren't busy, he watched you from the window in your room enough to know you kept your phone by your side at all times, just waiting for felix to call you, to invite you to anything.
"it seems so." you answered, forcing a happy face again, poor concealed resentment all over your pretty features.
of course, felix didn't notice, he didn't notice anything about you. not like oliver did, anyway.
he didn't notice the way you tapped your fingers on the page of your book before turning it, how your eyes seemed to cling onto every word, trying to memorize it. the first buttons of your shirt were open, a necklace with the first letter of your name over your soft skin.
oliver's eyes were locked in for a moment, imagining tugging on it to make you kiss him. or maybe he would pull you closer by your thighs, your legs were just restless under the table. you crossed and uncrossed them over and over again, and oliver wished he was sitting in felix's place so he could make you calm, let a hand wander on your inner thighs and ask you what was making you anxious.
perhaps it was the story you were reading, he knew that was your favorite book, you had quotes of it on the walls in your room. oliver bought the book and read it in two days so he could ask you about it, make you talk to him with your melodic voice.
but the more oliver looked at you, the less he wanted to interrupt your reading.
oliver knew he wasn't good at pretending not to look, so it didn't come as a surprise when you seemed to be embarrassed under his attention. eyes darting between him and felix with confusion, your lips parted with questions at the tip of your tongue, but oliver was quicker.
he silenced you with a finger in his mouth, smiling as if you two now shared a secret. you frowned, but didn't say anything, going back to your book with a gulp.
that was the moment oliver knew he could have you, he just needed planning.
but keeping a straight plan was so hard with you looking so beautiful.
he followed you to your dorm every night, making sure you were safe and everything was fine before he took his place at the tree next to your window. you were always too distracted to notice, writing about felix in your diary and then ripping the pages, dancing to the music in your record player or having a hand down your underwear.
the last seemed more common to you now that you didn't have felix's undivided attention.
oliver knew your routine, you would drop your bag on the floor, sighing away your problems and then sit on your bed, touching your neck, your chest, your stomach, licking your lips before opening your legs a little and taking your pants off. oliver allowed himself to open his zipper, touching his bulge over his boxers, almost tasting your skin on his tongue.
he would bite his fingers so the only thing he could hear was your moans, your breath heavier as you got closer to your climax. he wanted to cum with you, so he held the base of his cock until you were arching your back off the bed, fingers moist from your release.
his cum would paint the walls of your dorm, blood pooling on his tongue from how hard he would bite it to restrain himself.
oliver watched you until you fell asleep, then he would open your window and hear your soft snores. he would take your hand carefully and lick each one of your fingers, swearing he could still taste how sweet you were. he would kiss your cheek and play with your hair as a boyfriend would, touching the fading marks felix left on your skin.
"soon enough i'm gonna be laying with you right here, my dear." he patted your bed, smelling the sheets and smiling to himself.
the only thing that wasn't according to plan was the perfect opportunity falling right onto his lap.
"i don't know what to do anymore, he just won't talk to me and tell me what i did wrong." you came to him one afternoon, face all droopy and pouty, eyes glistening with tears and flushed cheeks.
oliver's heart ached for you, eyes traveling over your trembling hands and disheveled appearance. you were desperate, and your only solution to fix things with felix was to ask for help from his new best friend.
"i don't know what i can do to help you." oliver needed to know more, to have you more docile, more pliant. you almost started to cry again and he put a hand on your shoulder, trying to encourage you.
"i just... it's been weeks of felix avoiding me and it's only getting worse. i think he's going to break up with me." your lower lip trembled and you almost lost oliver's attention from your eyes. he smiled, feigning a gentleness that wasn't all there at that moment.
"where should we talk about this?"
"we can go to my room." right where he wanted. your eyes were full of hope, looking at him as if he was the savior of your relationship.
your knees were touching and that was all oliver could think about, he had to concentrate twice as hard on your lips to actually understand what you were saying about felix but that was just worse.
you were too preoccupied to notice his body getting closer to yours, his absent nodding being more frequent and his glossed over eyes studying your form.
"i could really talk to him, you know. make him listen to you." oliver just said the obvious, what you wanted to hear, but that seemed to be enough to bring you relief.
"really?! but isn't it gonna be too on his face?" you worried and he shrugged.
"i can be discreet, he won't even know you asked." you nodded at his words, trusting and too afraid of a break up to even question the honesty in his tone. he wouldn't talk to felix, he didn't care.
"but i need you to do something for me."
"of course... anything." you were too grateful and that was naive.
"give me a kiss." oliver smiled.
you stood up, betrayal all over your face, "how could you ask me that? are you out of your mind?"
"it's a simple wish, really." he made himself comfortable in your bed, watching your every move. you were suddenly self aware and aware of his presence, a chill ran down your spine.
"you want me to tell felix that you were cheating on him with his best mate in your room?"
"you're crazy, i would never do that. i have a boyfriend." barely, oliver wanted to say and be cruel to you.
"what? i didn't..." you got as away from him as you could, your back hitting the wall as he stood up, taking slow steps towards you.
he smiled at you and you shivered, his cologne making you dizzy. he cornered you with his body after cornering you with his words, you had no way of escaping.
"he wouldn't believe you." you said meekly.
"you know that's not true," he whispered in your ear, caressing your face with the back of his hand, enjoying your soft skin under his fingertips. "you're not on good terms and rumors spread quickly around here."
you could feel his breath on your face, blue eyes overtaken by dilated pupils, full lips pouting a little to mirror your expression. you pushed at his chest, weak and uncertain, his voice penetrating your psyche.
felix didn't like you as much anymore, it was too easy for him to use that as an excuse to break up with you.
you closed your eyes, feeling oliver kiss your forehead and temple, lips dragging all over your face before hovering over your mouth.
"always knew you were smart," he murmured.
a hand behind your neck made your lips touch, your arms falling limp on your sides. his lips were soft, the kiss starting slow until his tongue was exploring your mouth, messy and eager. his other hand went to your waist, bringing you closer and closer and your only option was to hold onto his shoulders.
he was strong, firm, and kissed you like it was the last thing he was ever going to do.
his hand squeezed your waist, stopping at the curve of your ass, fingers resting under your shirt. he tugged at your hair, making you gasp, and smirked against your mouth.
he kissed you until you were panting heavy, stomach clenching against your will, not so concerned about your boyfriend anymore.
all according to plan.
a/n: this is mild but his yandere potential is crazy. i also love barry keoghan.

dark!Oliver quick x fem!reader
Tumblr media
TW:DUBCON? DARK!OLIVER(it's literally him though so idk)slight reader x felix, but also oliver pinning over felix because no ones mentioning that??? ed mention  reader and Oliver lowkey hate each other I guess. ( eventual smut) minors dni or ill sleep with your dad requests are open !!
read the next part here
my master list
He’s alluring,he pulls you apart with his teeth, sucking out your blood,he's messy. Loud and brash, but sometimes he's just Oliver, who's begging to pick you apart and get under your skin.
You sit. Still, stoic and smoking, Oliver can't read your face. He hates it. Flattery doesn't get you. You're not jealous or insecure, your love falls as far as a piece of string for the love of your friends and the only addiction you face is nicotine. Easily overcome-able, because you only really smoke outside his window at night.
He really hates it, hes half naked and the moonlight reflects of the lake onto the bare chest of his body, your on the steps, large striped blue shirt and a pair of matching shorts, white socks just grazing the height of your calf, the big thick brown reading glasses that fall to the tip of your nose and you take another cancerous puff off your cigarette. He watches your lips part, the glossy shine catching the light of orange embers. You gaze up at him, through thick lashes, he hides into the shadows, but your eyes still find him. The curtains close.
He needs to get rid of you, he swears he will.
You sit under the scorching embrace of the summer sun, finding solace by the poolside in the English heat, Clad in a short white sundress shielding your eyes with oversized sunglasses, you turn the page of your book, spine bent into itself. Oliver collapses into a chair next to you, grinning lopsidedly.
“What are you reading?
“Perfume”
“Enchanting, has he started killing people yet?”
“No” you answer monatonly.
“Oh” his eyes examine you, a lingering curiosity.
You stand quickly, chucking your book into the chair. Hands reaching at the see through dress, you reveal a red gingham swimsuit. Your head cocks to the side, eyes bearing into his, you don't smile, there's a pause, your eyes squint at him wandering up and down his body, and you walk backwards before turning and diving into the pool. You don't come up for a minute and Oliver begins to think you've started to drown after seconds go by.
Venetia smiles against her cigarette in the lounge chair, she's reading vogue, eyes grazing against the small fragile bodies of the models.
“She does that, she'll come up in a minute, she's not dead.”
“She's very blunt, is she always like that?”
“She tells it straight,” Venetia says.
Oliver stares at the pool, bubbles erupting out the water as you come up. You push your hair out the way of your eyes and glance up at him, black mascara running down your face.
You think he's so small.
You sit on the weather stone steps, wrapped up in a silk nightgown and loose pink cardigan that slumps over your shoulder, red lipped. The crickets chirped rhythmically against the summer buzzing. There's a quiet anticipation in the air, a thickening tension. Your eyes linger on the window of his. A hand comes to view in the light, curtain being pulled closed Oliver waits for a moment, until a soft whisper slips through the opened window, and a giggle. And it's evident that you're not alone anymore. As two pairs of footsteps clatter against the stone steps.
“Why don't you like him?” It's Felix’ voice, soft and calming, interrupting the night's silence.
“i think he's obsessive, he's obsessed with you” you respond
Felix laughs as Oliver pauses to shift the curtains, taking a peep at the pair under his window. He thinks you've pushed yourself against the wall, your leg peeking out from the silk gown, he hears a lighter and smells the cigarette you've lit. Felix is pushed against your body, he's not sure what part of your body is really you.
“No he’s not”
You twist your body around, leaning against the steps.
“You always chose the weird ones, who was the last one, Sam?”
“Eddie”
“Oh! Eddie, i remember when he got so drunk he puked all over that painting in the red room and your mum made him pay to get it cleaned after him and well you know”
“So gross, he used to steal your cigarette butts with the lipstick stained on them. The housekeeper found them littered under his bed for weeks after he left.”
“Always the weird ones, little freaks.” you whisper, and then you chuckle and he swears it's the first time he's seen you really smile. It's almost angelic when you breathe in your cigarette. The smoke surrounds your face before it disperses.
Felix grins, and suddenly he's pulling you in for a kiss, arms wrapping around your waist, but you push him away.
“Not tonight felix, girls night with Venetia, told her i wouldnt fuck you anymore as-well, i really promised this time”
“You always say that” Felix grins, arms pulling you in for a hug as he turns his back on Oliver's window. Your eyes gaze up at him,the light catching on his blue eyes as you quickly pull apart from felix.
“Are you sure he's asleep?” you question.
“Yeah,why?”
“Something just moved” you point at the movement of the curtains as Oliver shifts backwards keeping his ear close to the window.
You don't see Felix for another couple of nights, you don't wait outside Oliver's window.
Farleighs gone.
And then,
suddenly.
Felix Catton is dead.
And the only person who's kept some semblance of sanity at Saltburn is Oliver, who everyone clings onto. He's the gift who keeps giving.
A day before the funeral, you wait outside Oliver's window again, you're wearing Felix's blue Ralph Lauren jumper, arms way too big for your own as the sleeves fall off your fingers, they slip back down after you pull them up your arms and you eventually give up, your face is wet, the scent of felix lingers.
Oliver pulls on a blue shirt, stepping into trainers before making his way down.
He joins you for the first time, there's three cigarettes laid out on the stone steps and a white lighter is clutched into your hands.
“There's one for you Oliver” you don't turn around to face him, but he can feel the grimace, through your face.
“We’ve never really spoken have we?” Oliver questions.
“I dont think ive ever liked you, that's why.”
“So why now?” he mirrors the way you're sitting.
“Because of Felix '' you whimper, you catch your face in your hands, sniffling you bring your face up to meet him. Eyes finally meeting without anything between them.
“I loved him, I think, I think I loved him and i'll never get to tell him that” you splutter.
“Everyone did”
You squint at him “But not like you did, right?”
“Sorry?” Oliver looks confused, eyebrows raised.
You grin at him, eyes not smiling back, wiping the tears from your wet hot cheeks, you puff your chest out.
“I saw the way you looked at him, you were obsessed, Are you gay Oliver? No? heard you slept with Farleigh, and nearly Venetia.” you chuckle “it's just so sad, your just so sad”
You pout at him. His eyes change, they look through you instead of at you.
“You're not really shy are you? I thought you were so insipid at first, like a poor child, I almost felt sorry for you, gosh I was so stupid” your head cocks to the side and Oliver's eyes darken.
“But my oh’ my, you so confident arent you, I mean come on, I saw the way Venetia reacted after that night and-” you ponder, “ Well, she actually ate that day , didn't she?it's not like you begged her to either, and now she cant stand you, Felix! well? he’ll hate you forever.” you nod at him, it's almost sincere.
“You play games really well, Oliver, but not me. Never me. Because as much as you pushed I just didn't budge. Couldn't Flatter me Couldnt fuck me.”
You smile at him, your teeth drag your lips into your mouth and they make a popping sound as they return. You blink at him.
“Couldnt fuck him either though could you?” you snicker at him.
Olivers quiet, he doesn't blink, a silhouette of stillness. He thinks. It's calculated.
You go into pat his face before standing but you're stilled, a fierce grip bruises your arm. You stare into his eyes through your lashes.
“You dont scare me” your wrist is still enveloped in his hand.
“No, I do something worse, don't i?” he pulls your arm down trapping you into the stone steps, you wiggle against his grip. He approaches your face.
“I do, don't i? And you hate it, hate the way i make you feel”
You shake your head at him, “your-such-a-freak” your voice drips with venom and olivers lips pursed together, his teeth are grinding, and his grip isnt letting up as it tightens, your wrist is pulsing, its white hot pain that thumps against your chest and you want to scream at him but you can't, your eyes widen and he's pulling you in for a kiss his hand against your head, your eyes don't close, you hand shoves hard against his chest, once and then twice and when he finally pulls away, your face is red with anger.
“You fucking twat” you spit at him.
"You think you can control everything, don't you?" you seethe, wiping your mouth with the back of your hand. "I hope you rot "
Oliver's smirk widens into a malevolent grin. "Hope all you want, baby ,you'll come crawling to me in the end”
You spin on your heel, not looking back as you return to your bedroom. The door slamming shut behind you, you collapse on to your bed, the smell of felix still present on his knit jumper. Thighs rubbing together, you taste the bitter aftermath of Oliver on your tongue, something stirs in your stomach, unshakeable it's dark and brewing inside you.
Felix’s absence is heavy in the air but Oliver begins to loom over you.

Ahh I’m so obsessed with stripper!reader and Spencer!! Do you have any more thoughts about them you’d be willing to share, maybe just a snippet of their life together? So so in love with them and your writing in general
i got a different request for them that I lost about reader struggling to afford essentials and so I thought I’d combine them, I hope that’s ok!! <;3 fem, 1.1k
cw food insecurity/ poverty
You attempt to save money, but the ten dollars you don't spend on shampoo and conditioner gets used on painkillers. You hide fifty dollars in a book and try to forget about it, but your shoes split open on the walk to work, and it takes all afternoon to find it again. You try so hard to stretch your paycheck and something new makes it impossible.
So it's a cold night in late December and you spent all your money for food on the gas bill. Your stomach hurts, but at least your nose isn't that horrible stiff cold that distracts.
It's not just that your stomach hurts, though. You feel miserable about everything, and you know you need to ask someone for help. You've thought about selling something, but you already pawned your watch, and everything else is inconsequential.
I could sell my phone… but how would I talk to Spencer?
It's the stupidest thought you could've had. More importantly, how would you communicate with work? How would you call your electric and gas company, or talk to your landlord?
Spencer would be so sad if he knew you’d sold your phone to pay for food. He’d probably be upset knowing you considered it. And you won’t get paid for another three days, so unless you can somehow live off of olives and cherries from the club bar, you have to ask Spencer for money or get a loan. With your credit score, one situation is more likely than the other.
You bring your phone across the pillow and sigh before clicking on his contact. He’s practically the only number you call.
“Hello?” you ask.
“Hi, Y/N.”
“Hello, handsome,” you murmur, staging an affect of someone who couldn’t be more unbothered by the world.
“Yeah, hi. You okay?”
You don’t want to butter him up. It feels dishonest. You should be straight forward. “Spencer. You know I hate asking you for things.”
“Yes, it’s the only bad thing about you.” He sounds like he’s smiling. You can imagine him on his couch reading something obscure, or watching one of his sci-fi shows, curls in his eyes, grey pyjamas too short for him riding up his calves as they tend to do.
“But I need– um. I don’t have any money?” You don’t mean to phrase it like a question. “Like. Okay, so, I promise you I am not an irresponsible person, just, my gas bill went up and I didn’t know, but it’s so cold I paid it anyways, and now I have three dollars. Um. Total. And I haven’t eaten all day and I’m sorry I’m asking, but I just need like twenty dollars until I get paid on Tuesday. Could you let me borrow twenty dollars, please?”
“Do you want to get takeout?”
You cringe. “No, like, twenty dollars for groceries, Spence.”
“No, I understood. That’s fine, I’ll happily give you twenty dollars. But you said you haven’t eaten today? And I miss you, so it’s an excuse?” Now he’s the one making questions out of statements. “I can get us Thai food.”
Your stomach pangs at the thought. No matter how much you hate this, you know he loves you enough to want to bring you dinner, and you really will pay him back, so he might as well. “Yeah, please. I’d love to see you, Dr. Reid.”
“I’ll be quick,” he promises.
He isn’t. You wonder if he’s forgotten you and your rumbling stomach, curled into a c-shape under the sheets. It’s warm, at least, nearly too warm, the blade of your hunger threatening to drive you mad. It’s not a nice feeling, depending on the kindness of a friend to see you through, nor is it very pleasant to be this hungry. You’ve gone hungry a hundred times, and this is the only time you’ve ever had someone you trusted enough to turn to during that time to ask for help. What if Spencer’s decided he isn’t comfortable with your lending after all and he doesn’t come over tonight?
You’d been looking forward to seeing him again. It’s almost worse than the hunger.
Just as you’re thinking he’s decided he doesn’t want to be your friend anymore, he lets himself in.
Your apartment is small, consisting of three rooms. The bedroom, the bathroom, and the living room kitchen combination. He lets himself into the living room with a cacophony of rustling and a called, “Hello!” followed soon by a muttered swear.
You laugh under your breath.
“Are you coming out here, or do you want to eat dinner in bed?” he asks.
“I haven’t decided yet.”
It’s quiet enough besides his arrival that you’ve no need to shout.
“Well, stay there if you want. Have you been drinking anything? I brought iced tea and some stuff for you to have breakfast tomorrow.”
“Thank you.” You force yourself to sit up. One moment you’re looking at the closed door and the next you’re squinting against the light of the kitchen, Spencer in the doorway like a silhouette against it. “Hey, Spence. You’re taller than last time.”
“I’m the same size as always.”
“You’re still wearing your shoes. That must be it.”
Spencer takes off his shoes and crosses the short distance to you. “Hi,” he says, taking your hand as he sits down. His fingers are freezing. “Sorry I took a while.”
“Sorry for asking you for money.”
“It’s okay. It’s not something to worry about. Everyone has to ask a favour sometime.”
His hair is wind blown, his eyes watery. The cold weather has nipped his pert nose a rosy pink and he’s smiling at you with chapped lips, unaware of or uncaring about his own circumstances in the face of yours. “You okay?” he asks, his pretty brown eyes narrowing, eyebrows pinching together at the starts. “You can’t just not eat all day and not tell me.”
You nod tightly. It’s humiliating to be in this position.
He softens. “Did they tell you the rate was rising? It’s illegal in Virginia–”
You take your hand from his. “They sent me a letter I didn’t open. I knew it would be bad news.”
Spencer looks down at your knees. “I know that you’re used to doing things by yourself, but you don’t have to anymore.”
“‘Cos you look after me,” you say quietly.
“I’m trying to.”
You laugh and jog your joined hands to make him look up. “Okay. Look after me some more then and give me a hug. I’m too warm, and you’re freezing.”
He hugs you tightly, quick to rub your shoulder blade with his thumb. “Stay here, okay? I’ll bring you a plate.”
You cling to him for a few seconds, until hunger wins, and you send him off into the kitchen again.

Oliver Quick x Fem!Reader
Tumblr media
Warning: 18+ MDNI, jealous!Ollie, choking, my terrible grammar 😚
——————————— 💌 ————————————
now we all know that oliver is an obsessive lover. that much is clear. he wants to be with you hell he needs it. it feels like part of him is missing when you’re gone. he can’t stop himself from touching you the minute you walk through his dorm room door. the second you enter the threshold his hands are on you, fingers stroking your cheeks, lips on yours. he just cannot get enough.
if he could crawl inside your ribcage and live by your heart forever he’d do it in a heartbeat. having his thick cock burried deep inside you is the next best thing to him. fucking you raw and deep is intimate in way nothing else is. there’s just something so raw and personal about him being the only person who gets to see you splayed out on his bed, your hands tangled in his hair, your soft eyes looking into the icy blue of his own, all while his cock lays embedded within you.
much like felix, he doesn’t like to share what’s his. he won’t. he likes having you all to himself. and he likes being yours. this causes him to get a little (a lot) jealous when he sees you with other guys. if michael looks at you too long he makes sure to protectively place his hand on your thigh, squeezing ever so gently to let his ‘friend’ know that you’re off limits. does oliver see michael as competition? of course not! but he does know how badly michael wanted to be where he is now, his cock in your tight pussy, ravaging you like it was his birthright. of course he knew that’s how michael felt, because thats how he felt during those first few weeks of university after seeing you for the first time. he felt like a horny high schooler with a crush way out of his league (in his opinion). when you said his named for the first time he could have came in his jeans then and there, you were just so beautiful. so, so beautiful. now you were all his.
i wouldn’t put it past him to fuck the ever-loving shit out of you when you get back to the dorms. it’s not that he doesn’t trust you, god he trusts you with his life. he doesn’t trust everyone else. maybe he’s a little insecure but all that goes out the window when he’s driving himself into you, his hand grasping your throat- not hard enough to bruise but firm enough to get the message across- he cock so hard and thick that it feels like he may break you.
he moves his hand up to your cheek lightly tapping to get your attention watching the way your glassy eyes focus on him and only him. good.
“who do you belong to, hmm?” he asks, his thrusts never faltering, his cock so deep inside you, you were sure you could feel it in your stomach. “you” it was barely above a whisper, tears of pure ecstasy flowing down your soft cheeks. he needed to hear it, he needed to feel it. he ceases his thrusts immediately, smiling devilishly at the whine that escapes your kiss bitten lips. “who do you belong to, sweetheart? don’t make me ask again.” his hand is back round your throat, a tighter grip this time. you can barely breathe but it brings you so close to the edge. “You! Oliver. Im yours all yours.” it comes out almost like a prayer, an act of pure devotion and love. it was true. you didn’t want or need anyone else when you had such a beautiful man to wreck you and put you back together again every time. he gives you a smile of satisfaction, it’s almost condescending, but by god does it stir your stomach.
“there’s my good girl.”

head, heart, hand. {Felix Catton/Reader/Oliver Quick}
Part 2.
Summary: Felix and Y/N's first year of university means being more open with how close they are, while perhaps growing a little more distant than Felix would like. Also the Catton family have bestowed Y/N their own title, which Felix hates, and Y/N and Farleigh have a moment of connection over Christmas.
{ masterpost }
Need to Know: They/Them. Explicitly NB Reader. FWB!Reader with Felix, Venetia, and Farleigh in this chapter. Reader is from a well off family but has pretty much been adopted by the Cattons.
Warnings: Smut (reader bottoming but their gender is not made explicit), Degrading language (reader is referred to as as dog & pet)
A/N: 3071 words. i definitely meant to get to the start of their second year/first run in with Oli..... but this chapter got long enough, so instead we'll meet Oliver at the start of the next chapter and instead we get Felix and Reader at university, best friends who hook up shenanigans, Venetia being a pot-stirrer because she likes to rile up her brother, and Farleigh and Y/N bonding and boning. i feel like the pacing is a bit strange so id love some feedback <3 ALSO I KNOW NOTHING ABOUT UK COLLEGE CALANDERS IM SO SORRY LOL

----
To absolutely no-ones surprise, least of all yours, Felix takes to the social aspects of college like a duck to water. Neither of you missed a single day or night of activities during first year orientation, and you both left the various pubs and bars with a different hook up each night.
Felix sees a poster for a band in town, and crows with laughter as he talks about how his mother would hate if he ever got a piercing, but you know the look in his eye too well, and tell him there's a piercing place a block away.
"God I miss Farleigh," you sigh with a smile, watching him size himself up in the mirror of the tattoo parlour where the piercer had drawn approximate dots to mark his soon-to-be eyebrow piercing.
"Oh he'd love this, wouldn't he?" Felix agrees, grinning from ear to ear, catching your gaze in the reflection. Despite the piercer's reassurance that it doesn't actually hurt that bad, Felix plays up the bit of being concerned, insisting that you hold his hand.
It's easier in this environment to be affectionate. Perhaps its the way that all nights liked to blur together, lips and teeth and tongues and hands, and you find yourself invited to parties and into bedrooms and Felix is in the crowd, pupils wide and drugs in his blood and knowing you can take care of yourself.
Fruit flies mistaking his light in the night for the rot they're used to.
That being said, while of course Felix is gorgeous and the life of the party, your own magnetic aura and love features draw in your own crowd of admirers; you proximity to Felix was merely a perk.
You yourself find yourself blooming at college; with a far stronger sense of identity than you'd had for most of your teenage years, you shed many of your adolescent insecurities and begin to embrace yourself and the people around you as more than just Felix's friends.
"I miss you," he teases, eyes shiny and pupils huge, looking at you with that look that made everyone else weak in the knees. The two of you are crammed too close in a booth at a club, everyone else having left to dance or find something interesting to snort in the bathrooms.
"I'm always around, Fi," you murmur, just as high, lips twisted into a bleary smile, your finger beneath his chin to lift his face to you.
"They love you here," he grinned, lips inches from yours, skin glowing with sweat from the adrenaline and high of the night, "knew they would," it's not especially jealous, more proud, and you sigh against his lips with the kind of warm contentment his praise always brings you.
"Don't care if they love me," you say, very tellingly, voice low and flirty. Anyone could see the two of you, but the unspoken rules of high school had fallen away; the rules of college seemed to prioritise a lack of judgement, especially with the people you surrounded yourself with. Felix giggles, flushing red, leaning into your touch, leaning even heavier against you in the little, otherwise empty booth.
"You miss me, Fi?" You prompt, letting his face go as you wrap an arm around him, drawing you in close to him. Despite his height, he folds himself up to lean into you. Felix giggles again, mostly to himself, clearly shitfaced, without answering, he angles his face up to press a kiss to your neck, "we see each other every day, we still fuck around, we -"
"Do you think I could live without you?" He asks suddenly, and surprisingly frankly. His chin is on your shoulder, eyes wide and demanding an answer. It's not a joke, nor some strange attempt at flirting, and your throat turns dry as the lights spin around you both.
"You're drunk," you tell him gently, "and high."
"Why would I ask that?" He frowns, suddenly, sitting up, as if he's talking more to himself than you, "that's a fucked question actually, sorry Y/N, I shouldn't have -"
"I think it's more about how you feel about it." You tell him gently, "we should get water. You sit here, I'll get it."
You're unsteady on your feet when you head to the bar, collecting two cups of water, almost overflowing, from the end, trying not to think about it all. It didn't matter either way, how he thought or felt about it. It was a foolish, drunken question, it doesn't matter. Right?
Except he's bopping back and forth in his seat, tapping the rhythm with surprising success on the table top, eyes shining in the light where all he seems to look at is you. Felix grin wide and bright, thanks already in his smile before the words reach his lips as you sit back down next to him.
You could live without him, but you know you'd never want to, so long as he'd want you around.
"Think I'd rather die than live without you," he says with little prompting, holding the cup with both hands as he downs half in a single gulp. What?
"What?"
He turns those perfect, brown eyes upon you like you don't already live your life in his shape, like he hadn't validated every choice you'd made since you'd met him. He smiles.
"You're my best mate, you're always good to me and help me with shit and never get mad at all the dumb ideas I have and you've made sure I haven't gotten kicked out of any schools, even if I probably deserved it," he rambles and takes another drink, this time choosing to look out at the nauseating crowd of haze and lights and bodies, "I love you, I don't think I could live without you."
"Is that why you miss me?" Your voice is barely audible above the music, but Felix still hears it. Putting his mostly empty cup on the table, he shoves his shoulder against yours, refusing to let up until his full weight is against you, the two of you toppling down in the booth, him draped over you wearing the absolute goofiest grin. It's a good reminder that you're both incredibly drunk.
"Just miss you."
You stumble out of the bar together, and back to the dorms. Felix is insistent that you stay with him.
"No funny business," he mumbles against your ear, breath hot and smirk in his voice, "promise."
"You couldn't get it up if you tried," you snorted, "whiskey dick." Though he tries to protest, you gently elbow him in the ribs and he sulkily admits that you're probably right. Still, in the warmth of his room and the two of you stripped to your underwear, it's kind of irresistible to not make out like teenagers for a good while. You get you both glasses of water to put on the nightstand, and Felix tells you he loves you while on the brink of sleep.
"Love you too, Fi."
"Couldn't live without you, meant it," he hiccups, cracking an eye to smirk up at you from where he's splayed out on the bed, "probably."
"Don't think I could live without you either," you shuffle yourself into the bed beside him, letting him roll over to wrap an arm around you, "even if you are a fucking wanker sometimes," you grin, and hear him laugh into his pillow.
Felix has more game than anyone you've ever met without even trying, stealing and breaking hearts from all areas of the university. You watch it happen with amusement as you find your own slew of pretty guys and girls to keep you company when you feel like it. Still, for all the charisma and charm Felix had been blessed with, his touch-starved nature becomes both a blessing and a curse when he finds himself drunk and tactile and desperate for touch.
A desperate, affection Felix loses all of those carefully-curated social barriers that the two of you had put between yourselves as teenagers in public. Girls are more open and supportive around here; perhaps you should be offended, that many, once they learn he's prone to clinging to you, to kissing you, they end up rationalising it. It doesn't count.
Or perhaps they think they can shift the affection to themselves. Felix always learns to be more affectionate to them, but will find himself with you more often than he's not.
And those girls don't even know about the sex.
"I think about you," he huffs between short, jagged breaths, with you bent over the end of his bed, "is that weird?"
His latest breakup isn't even twelve hours old yet, but when you'd showed up at his room with a six-pack of beers and the offer to let him vent, he'd taken it without hesitation. While they hadn't been going out for long, she'd been pretty, but an apparently lousy fuck. When you'd jokingly offered to remind him what a decent lay was like, Felix had genuinely jumped at the chance.
"A bit - ah," you mused for a moment, hips rocking back to meet his in a pleasant rhythm. He takes a pause to tap one of your ankles with his foot, and you adjust your stance to be a bit wider, "what context? Just in general - fuck, Fi, there," and you find yourself lost for words as he presses his hand against the small of your back. His pace remains steady as he fucks you, and you obliging lean further down; he knows you well, know how to fuck you just the way you both enjoy.
Then you're in his bed, straddling him, riding him with his hands on your hips, your thighs, bouncing as his nails dig pleasantly into your skin.
"Think about me?" You finally continue, breathless, and something about the way he holds you steady, lets you pause as he laughs, flushed cheeks growing even more read, makes you grin too, "you mean like this, don't you?" And you rolled your hips, eliciting a groan from him that was like music to your ears.
"Shut up," he'd laughed, giving you a squeeze, unable to meet your gaze.
"Did you ever call out my name?" You lean down, across him, and for a moment his hands slide up your body to wrap around your neck, bringing you in for a gentle kiss.
"Thankfully not."
"Still, those poor girls," you teased.
"Poor me," Felix argued, "having to try and power through terrible sex while thinking about someone who's not even there, just because I know you're better at it," and he played at pouting for a moment, looking for sympathy.
"You really didn't have to tell me all this," you laughed, sitting back up and setting a gentle pace, smiling down at him, "you're such a perv." When his fingertips trail down your body, a shiver runs down your spine. There's this look in his eyes for just a moment, something knowing, something teasing, something you'd seen on occasion that made you feel so wanted and seen and -
He likes you knowing.
"You gonna give me something to think about?" That tone of voice, the teasing, the faintest hint of authority, like he's pretending like he doesn't know all the ways you'd debauch yourself if only he asked.
Venetia gets you a collar for Christmas, and Farleigh's already been kicked out of several universities by the time your first Winter break had arrived.
"Oh Pet, that's so cute," Elspeth coos at the designer, velvet collar that Venetia had smugly handed over while Felix had scowled, "is that Cartier?" Much to Felix's dismay, Elspeth and Sir James have apparently taken to calling you Pet as a pet name. He blames his sister entirely.
"Pet's easier, sweetheart," Elspeth had tried to argue when you'd sat down at your first breakfast of the Winter break at Saltburn, and she'd asked Duncan 'don't forget about our dear pet'. Naturally Felix had frowned the entire time while arguing with his parents, who insisted it's easier to use Pet than a whole new set of names and pronouns.
"It's been years mum, how have you not adjusted?" He demands, while you have shrunken in your chair and tried to divine life's secrets from your breakfast.
"What do you think, Pet?" Venetia said with a venomous kind of sweetness. Looking up at her, she's wearing this smug kind of smile, directed not at you but at Felix next to you. When you look to him, you see Farleigh across the table trying to hide his amusement in several pieces of toast eaten with no break in between.
"I think," you paused, looking past an annoyed Felix to his mother at the head of the table, "that if you want to call me Pet, you can, I think it's sweet, but please don't expect Felix to refer to me as such," you said with a surprising amount of firmness. Then after a beat of surprise from the rest of the table, you took a deep breath, "and for events and guests, I really wouldn't appreciate being introduced as such."
"Of course," Elspeth quickly amends, adding, "Y/N," for good measure.
"It's a pet name, Pet," Sir James gives an awkward little smile, nodding in agreement. Farleigh met your gaze for a moment, and you could see only the bread was keeping his laughter from spilling out. Beside you, Felix relaxes, and finally you look at him. Dark, serious eyes, with something grateful shining faintly in the morning sun.
Of course you let him throw Venetia's collar gift in the fire in front of her, despite her protests.
You get used to the sweet way the Cattons refer to you as Pet; as much as Felix despised it's connotations when it came from his sister, there was something comforting, something almost secure about the way the whole family had picked it up so easily.
"Was wondering where I'd find you," Farleigh's voice is warm while you're raiding the expansive kitchen for some kind of easy midnight snack. You could have asked one of the many staff members who reside on the property, but you hadn't wanted to bother them over probably some crisps.
"Farleigh!" You light up upon hearing his voice, turning, refrigerator door still open in your hand. He approaches, and you close the refrigerator, hugging him tightly, "oh this is great, it's been so long since it's been just us!"
"Darling pet," he says with a surprising amount of gentleness.
"You should come to Oxford, Fi and I miss you terribly," you tell him, leaning into his touch with a sincere smile as he holds your face gently, while you still hold him is a loose embrace.
"I've already been accepted into another college; you'll be fine without me," and he grins, kissing you on the nose, pressing a kiss to each cheek, "pet." He adds, almost to himself, and your face falls as you think about what he'd said.
"Everything's better with you," you insist, "and you'd love it; we could party like we did that Summer in France, but every weekend -!" Farleigh cuts you off with his lips against yours; you can taste the sweet smile he's wearing before he deepens the kiss.
Later, in Farleigh's bed, bathed in moonlight and the afterglow, you light up a cigarette and open his window.
"Fucking freezing," Farleigh mutters.
"Sorry," but you don't close the window. Silence stretches out between you both. You hope Farleigh enjoyed himself, hope he's happy -
"You don't need them," he says quietly, staring up at the ceiling. After a moment, you breathe out a lungful of smoke and turn to him with a frown, "this family; we all know where you're from. You don't need them." There's something strange about his tone, clearing his throat when he finally looks at you, "but you still want them to love you."
"They're good to me," you finally say, dropping your gaze as you reach back to offer the cigarette, "to us," you tell him, and he hums with the smoke in his lungs. Then, taking back the cigarette, you inhale the sour-sweet smoke and tap off the ash off the window sill.
"I'm not their fucking dog, Farleigh," you mumble, surprising frustration escaping you, anger you hadn't even realised you were holding on to.
"I know, pet," he says softly, pressing a kiss to your bare shoulder, "you'll let them think they have you kept, but you're not their dog, I know."
"I like you, Farleigh," you say with a faint smile, leaning back to see the way he's grinning too, "and I love you a bit as well I think."
"I know, I love you too, Y/N."
"We miss you a lot." There's something about the quiet that follows your words that you know all too well; Farleigh's about to tease you for something. Probably Felix related.
As if on cue;
"Does he know you like being his dog?" Grin widening, Farleigh gives you a slight shove, though the truth of his words has you hiding your own embarrassed smile.
"He thinks it's an insult to me, which is sweet of him," you chuckled, and Farleigh eases the cigarette from your fingers, "but it's like he has no idea the effect he's had on me for over a decade now. Yeah, I'm my own person, I have hobbies and friends outside of him, but -"
"You're a service bottom and desperately in love," Farleigh cuts in with a surprisingly sage tone, nodding like he hadn't absolutely called you out. Shocked with his vulgar kind of accuracy, you practically shove him out of the bed, laughing that he needs to fuck off, and the discussion is left at that.
The next morning, sitting down to breakfast, Duncan quietly informs Sir James that there had been a disturbance during the night. Immediately you throw Farleigh under the bus and declare that it's his fault.
"Hey!" He shouts back, grinning, "it takes two to fuck in the kitchen!" Which has all four of you, Venetia, Felix, Farleigh, and yourself, cracking up with laughter as Elspeth and Sir James were exasperated by your collective antics.
There is so much affection in Felix's eyes in this moment, this simple, strange moment of admitted sexual deviance. Except it's never felt like that to either of you. It's one of the ways you've both shown love, and he loves that you love those closest to him.
And you love to make him happy.
Farleigh was right, not that you'd ever tell him.

Tumblr media
Felix Catton, is a rich cunt sucking directly of the tit of old familiar wealth, and somehow, he doesn’t even know it.
Though to be fair, you yourself have no idea how you managed to wind up being his friend. Considering that compared to all his other mates, you were probably considered poor. Even though compared to all the non-rich shits in school, you were probably seen as well off.
You’d met Felix on the first day of Oxford, wandering around blindly looking for your introductory class to English. And of course knowing your luck, Felix Catton walked right up to you asking if you were lost, and to your gratitude at the time, you were grateful as he directed you were to go. Even blushing at the fact he insisted on putting his number in your phone, just so you could text him if you ever got lost again.
Though from there, you have no idea what happened. As the next thing you knew, you were trailing along after Felix and hanging out with his friends like some sort of fucking puppy, too afraid to leave the comforts of what it knows and go see the world. You knew you were being absolutely pathetic. A desperate bootlicker practically whining for some sort of attention and validation from someone deemed powerful in this world.
It was probably though why you found it so easy to recognise yourself in Oliver Quick. Another desperate nobody that was all but begging for some attention from the so proclaimed ‘big dogs’ of Oxford.
Though his eyes, those were different from yours. His held a type of longing that was directed only at Felix. Compared to his, your eyes looked like you wanted to kill him.
You don’t know how he met Felix, but by the way he came over to the table in the pub after Felix had called him over was nothing but eager. Oliver had been quick to move, grabbing his drink and practically skipping over. Even though you know you saw someone with him at the table earlier.
“Oh wait are you with anyone?” Felix asked, strangely empathetic as he stared at Oliver. Oliver turned around, and you could clearly see the person he’s just been sitting with in a confusing but funny looking shirt awkwardly waving to him, obviously wondering what the hell happened when he’d gone.
“No, they just left…” Oliver replied, ignoring the poor boy who slowly drops his hand and his head, obviously sad at the sudden loss of his drinking partner and so called friend.
It was so sad to look at, that you move to quickly finish your pint, and stand, offering Oliver your seat as you walk away. You can’t hear if anyone objects. If anything, they probably don’t care about you enough or even at all to even notice.
“Hey! How I roll guy!” You yell, and to your surprise, he actually turns around and gives you a judging glare rivalling even Heras.
“What?” He grunts, his brows furrowed as his eyes rake over your whole body, as if he had the ability to see every one of your insecurities.
You take a deep breathe, oddly nervous. “Oliver Quick is a bootlicking cunt and quite honestly, you deserve a much better friend than that puppy.”
There’s silence between you two, that’s only broken by the odd drunk fuelled talk coming from the direction of the pub, and eventually, by a small hum coming from the guys lips.
“You’re not wrong…” He says, smiling as he no doubt thinks over what you just said. “Though, I suppose the same could be said about you. Don’t you hang desperately on the rich buff arms of your own bff Felix Catton?”
“Felix is as much as my friend as I am friends with my own shit.” You bluntly say, and to your surprise, he begins chuckling, even slowly beginning to physically shake with laughter, while you stand there awkwardly waiting for him to stop.
“Can’t say you’re wrong comparing good old Felix to good old fashioned excrement!” He grins, finally calming down and fixing his glasses which had gone wonky in strangely enthusiastic laughter.
“Wanna grab a pint on me?” You can’t stop yourself from saying it. This guy in front of you, as brought more of a good conversation than any of the people in Felixes friend group ever could. At least this guy laughed at your sense of humour. The others just exchanged awkward looks and fake laughs.
“Sure, why not?” He shrugs, walking in some random direction and leaving you to stand in the path on your own.
“Where are you going?!” You shout, cupping your hand over your mouth while you grin at this unexpected turn of events.
“The pub! First rounds on you bootlicker!” He shouts back, an equal looking grin on his own face that to your surprise, you can’t help but find strangely pretty to look at in this lighting.
“Yeah yeah Roll boy!” You shout, slowly beginning to run after him as he huffs out another low chuckle. Maybe this would be the start of a good friendship? Or maybe this would be your doom? All you knew, is that you really needed to learn this guys name before you buy him his drink.

You're leaning against Felix's shoulder, both legs thrown over one of Farleigh's who was spreading his own. You watched the odd woman from earlier's train wreck of a husband perform Apple Bottom Jeans with increasingly less enthusiasm as he seems to gain it, whipping his coat and throwing it haphazardly in the room.
"Alright fuck this I'm gonna go get a drink.” Felix proclaims tapping Venetia on her arm, willing her to join him over at the bar cart leaving you and Farleigh alone.
He leans over to you, pressing his arm against yours letting you feel the roughness of his freshly pressed dress shirt against you. "Fuck, chuck, or marry?" He starts in that unassuming tone, you don't look at him just yet. "Richard the III, Henry the VIl, or Henry the VIII?" His eyes bore holes into the side of your face, "You know I think I'd fuck Richard the IlI." He expressed to which you hummed, as if this was the most engaging conversation of the night.
"He's so insecure, so, you know he'd put in the work, right?" You turned to him, doe eyed as he giggles to himself. "You could just fuck me." He's not laughing anymore, but there's a wicked grin etched across your face. "But you've been a tattle tale, telling Felix about me and Venetia." You accused, looking over your nose at him. You'd been more than enemies and less than friends upon your introduction, you might ve even given Farleigh that show underneath his window on purpose.
"It's not like I knew he'd be mad." He whispered, a faint smile coming back onto his face. You draped an elbow across the couch to rest your head on, letting the other roam above Farleigh's knee. "You knew." You opposed him, giving him a slight squeeze so he answered immediately "Yeah, I knew." He admitted, his face evidently eager so you removed your hand from his slacks and laid it on his chest in a seemingly innocent way to everyone else.
"Farleigh if you ever needed my help why haven't you just asked?" You can see him become suspicious immediately, readying his defenses as needed. "What do you mean?" His brows twitch downward in expectation.
"Well, because if anyone knows how you feel it's me, when things at home are... delicate." You reach over and twirl the end of a piece of his hair in between your fingers with your free hand. "You get scared, feel lonely." You trail a finger down a button from his collar, watching as it descends.
"And it must be humiliating to have to go to them every time you need something." You dropped the secret you'd been harboring after overhearing him and Felix outside earlier.
You sighed, reaching down to the next button slowly wearing him down. "and I know you hate me." He cuts you off, "I-I don't hate you." He rolls his eyes, yet still sounds sincere enough to convince you he's being genuine. His hand snakes around your waist unnoticed by anyone else in the room.
You smile, knowing you have him where you want him just enough, "But instead of outing me, I could’ve helped you. I have ways of getting things done and l'd be happy to lend a hand." You barely correct yourself, Farleigh holds eyes contact whispering softly to you, "When I want something from you, you'll know."

Omg can I request a fic based on the recent Paul x Reader where they're insecure about having a baby. What if the roles were switched and Paul was having baby fever but too nervous to bring up to the reader? How would he tell the reader he wants a baby?
you and paul were at sam and emily's house for their baby's third birthday party. although the entire pack was pretty much over there all the time anyways, today was a bit of a special occasion seeing as oliver had just turned three and sue, billy, and old quil were also making an appearance for the party.
while you sat on the porch with emily as the party began to die down, paul was out in the yard playing with oliver. paul (and you of course) absolutely adored oliver but paul and him had a bit of a special bond that you loved seeing grow. oliver was running around the yard with paul right behind him, oliver bursting into a fit of giggles everytime paul "caught" up to him and picked him up.
after nearly 20 minutes of this, oliver seemed to finally be getting a bit tired and curled up in paul's arms so he could carry him back over to his parents. when paul saw you on the porch, he smiled at you, "everything okay?" he asked as he handed a half-asleep oliver off to sam, him and emily heading inside to put him down for his nap.
you nodded, smiling, "everything is great," you reassured, laughing when paul picked you up so he could sit down in the rocking chair you were just sitting in, pulling you into his lap.
"you're so good with him you know," you mused, running your hand up his chest to wrap around his neck and gently thread your fingers into his short hair.
"you think?" paul asked, a soft smile on his face as he took in your words. ever since you'd known paul, you'd known he was pretty hard on himself when it came to being a role model for any kids in his life so you knew your comment meant a lot to him.
"positive," you cooed, leaning up to press a quick kiss that he made quick work of deepening, tightening his grip on you so he could pull you closer to him as the two of you melted into eachother.
you giggled against his lips, letting out a soft sigh when he allowed you to part from his lips so you could catch your breath, "what's got you all worked up?" you asked teasingly, your voice barely above a whisper as he rested his forehead against yours.
he paused for a moment before responding, you assumed it was because he was thinking about how to word his response, "would you ever..." he trailed off when he couldn't find the right words, his free hand subconsciously coming to rest on your abdomen as he thought some more.
you smiled to yourself when you realized what he was trying to ask you, "have a baby with you?" you finished, smiling when he quickly nodded.
"don't wanna pressure you if you don't want to-" he started, both of your voices still hushed as you spoke about your future together.
you were quick to cut him off, already knowing he'd be beating himself up for asking you in the first place if you didn't reassure him, "of course i will," you giggled, pressing another quick kiss to his lips before continuing, "was waiting for you to bring it up," you added teasingly, giggling when he pulled you into a tight hug against his chest, smushing his lips against your hair for a kiss.
"you're serious?" he mumbled against your hair, only loosening his grip on you when he realized you likely wouldn't be able to respond with the way he had you constricted.
you let out another series of giggles, "absolutely," you cooed, pressing a soft kiss to his collarbone as he took in a few deep breaths, clearly relieved to hear your response, "now are you gonna take me home so we can get started?" you asked teasingly, barely finishing your question before paul was getting up with you in his arms and carrying you back to your car so the two of you could get to work.

I really don't want to seen rude, but as a form of advice, i think oliver is at risk of becoming perfect, really he is patient, calm, collected, humble, kind, organized, etc. I love him as a character, but he doesnt seen to have many flaws who are really important for anrealistic character and breakes the ilusion of a perfect guy.
I mean he doesnt seen confortable talking about his past which isnt really a flaw but aside from that i really don't see any flaws or bad habits.
Really REALLY don't mean to be rude its just an observation I've made and maybe he has more flaws that I didnt notice
Btw I really like your blog it's the first sfw and not romantic g/t I have seen
I understand the thought process there, but Oliver does have flaws they just aren't as obvious as characters like Sammy or James; Sammy is allergic to asking for help even if on the edge of death, and James is insecure about his worth and coming to terms with the fact that he used to be abusive.
Oliver on the other hand is usually written as the contrast to these sorts of characters; from their perspective he is unwaveringly kind and brave, so it's something that forces them to reconcile with their own behaviors and be better. This also means his flaws aren't seen as often because their flaws are focused on.
Oliver is flawed in a quiet way; something others don't see or recognize because from the outside looking in he seems perfect.
Oliver self-isolates. He masks. He tries not to let anyone's perception slip through his facade or else.
[To his coworkers he was known as a good worker; polite, well-received, compassionate. He wasn't friends with anyone though.
This didn't upset him in the slightest. He liked his quiet life, and whenever he got close to others they ultimately ended up discovering his past, rumours would spread, and then everyone would treat him differently again.]
The 'again' part there is important. Even though he says that it doesn't upset him in the slightest, his self-isolation was learned after getting close to someone before and that not going well.
[So things were fine like this. Quiet. Sometimes a bit lonely, but nothing Oliver couldn't handle. He stuck to his routine and that was that.]
His routine is a coping mechanism; it represents safety and comfort and allows him to not ever face his own issues until something breaks that routine (namely, James).
It's only after meeting James and seeing James be vulnerable that Oliver opens up about things in his own past, and he's always quick to move on from it. He always preaches about sharing your feelings without fear but when it comes to his past he deflects.
[Oliver cut himself off abruptly, remembering once again that his cousins were missing…and probably not even alive. Oliver turned his head to the side, brows furrowing in upset.
"Well… that's that."]
A lot of his flaws are still a mystery because they aren't shown as often, but obviously I as the writer are aware of them. In some unfinished stories he dissociates, drinks, and goes into self-loathing spirals (but obviously, because those are unfinished and unpublished I wouldn't expect people to know what I haven't shown lol).
Both human and borrower Oliver were told by their mother that they should have died instead. Borrower Oliver was told that mostly in reference to his sister when she drowned— and he blames himself for not being there when she needed him. Human Oliver's family all got in a car accident instead, and so he instead wishes he had been in the car (and he was originally supposed to be going in the car too) and died there, which is what his mother said.
He should have been there.
When his cousins went missing, Oliver just happened to be missing Sammy's birthday that year (both human and borrower Oliver), and he wishes he hadn't. I'll show a bit of an unfinished story;
[If Oliver knew that would have been his last chance to see them it wouldn't have mattered what he was doing— he would've been there. He should have been there.]
To James when he saw Oliver's wall of notes and pictures he saw it as a memorial of sorts; he found it sad but didn't recognize what it actually was; a constant reminder of the mistakes he made and who suffered because of it. Because yes, Oliver does blame himself even though he had very little control over how those tragedies played out.
[Oliver looked upon the note that he had attached to the wall as he sat at the edge of his bed; a mug of tea clutched so tightly in his hands that the tips of his fingers were turning white. It was no longer hot. He wasn't sure how long he had been reading and rereading the note, but it continued to taunt him again and again.]
Anyway. I hope that helped explain him a bit better— Oliver isn't supposed to be perfect, but he is definitely supposed to seem perfect. That's why I usually have other characters being the perspective of the story and actively thinking about how perfect Oliver is— when Oliver is alone and it's his own perspective, that's when you get the juicy bits.
Thanks for reading my stories ^^

hey, could you do one of Oliver giroud, with an age difference ( reader 23/24 ) where the reader feels insecure about her relationship with Oliver, and thinks he is only with her for sex, one day she will leave and go get drunk, and when she comes home Oliver will try to take care of her and she will say she feels/or thinks he is only with her for sex, that when he gets tired of her he will leave her for someone else and other things, and then Oliver will comforting her and making sure she's the only one for him and that he's not just with her for sex, and they'll talk about it and in the end, everything works out (sorry if it's confusing)
I love Olivier please send me more requests!

Daddy issues
Doubts started filling your mind when you read all the comments on your recent post with Olivier. It was a simple selfie with a simple heart in the caption, nothing wrong you thought. But all the mean comments made you feel insecure of your relationship.
“He’s dating her only for the sex, he doesn’t really love her” someone said.
“I bet she’s good in bed” someone else said.
“Poor thing, she really thinks he loves her?” another one said. You’ve been only dating for a year and you remember when you started dating you both were on the cover of every gossip magazine in Italy. Mostly because you were only 23 and he was 36 so people assumed you were dating him just or fame and money but you really loved him, with all of your heart but of course, they don’t care about that.
So now you were contemplating whether staying at home and waiting for Olivier to come back home from training or texting your friends and asking them to go out and drink.
You opted for the second one, of course. So you called them and asking them to meet at your favorite club in one hour while you started getting ready and sent a quick text to Olivier telling him that you were out with your friends and that you will come home later in the night.
Once you got ready you called a taxi, knowing that probably you would be too drunk to come back home by yourself and waited for it to arrive.
You were wearing a short but not too short black silk dress with a pair of heels and your black leather jacket finishing your look. Nothing to eccessive but you wanted to feel comfortable with yourself, trying to shield away all the negative comments you’ve been reading all day that made you feel uncomfortable and insecure.
The taxi arrived and drove you to the club where you saw your friends waiting for you. Back into the club you all ordered a cocktail first, then a second one, then a third one, ending with your best friend buying a bottle of champagne for all of you and you offering two rounds of tequila shots. Three hours later and you were all completely waisted except one of your friends just because she didn’t like alcohol so she only got some pepsi for her. Olivier texted you how the night was going and if you needed him to pick you up but you simply sent him a “no, see u at home”. Before leaving the club you wanted to drink a little more so you got yourself a beer and got more that waisted. Your mind was spinning and if it wasn’t for your friend holding you up you would have collapsed.
“Okay y/n it’s time for you to get home…I’m gonna take you home okay? Let’s go” your friend said helping you in the car.
“No I don’t want Olivier to see me…he doesn’t love me, he will think I’m childish” you mumbled in your drunk state.
“What are you talking about? He loves you very much y/n…yeah maybe you’re a bit childish but that makes you, you…don’t worry about it okay? Let’s get you home so you’ll be with your lover” she joked about it but you were too drunk to even understand her words.
Once back home she helped you get in, Olivier hearing a car sound knew this was you so he opened the door and thanked your best friend for bringing you back home.
“Thank you” he smiled at her once you were sat on the couch.
“She’s drunk” your best friend said “and talking nonsense…take care of her please”.
“Of course…thank you for bringing her home, she sounded mad when I texted her earlier…” he told your best friend.
“No, not mad, just heavily drunk” she smiled at him and he laughed looking at your drunk figure sat on the couch.
“But really, thank you” he thanked her again and helped her out.
He came back sitting on the couch but you shoved him away.
“Baby are you okay?” he asked you softly.
“No. Why are you with me Olivier?” you asked him, not being able to control your emotions and letting the tears fall.
“What are you talking about y/n? I’m with you because I love you…why this question?” he softly asked you, hating to see you cry. He knelt in front of you while you were sat on the couch.
“Just admit you’re with me just for the sex…In the end you will leave me for a more mature woman, a woman who can give you children and a family because I’m too young for you and-and one day you will realise that I’m not the one you want and…” you mumbled in a very drink voice “…and you will look for someone else and that day will break my heart but I know it will happen, I mean…we have - I don’t remember right now” you started counting with your fingers “a thirteen year age gap and that’s a lot you know? I’m scared you’ll find someone better because it’s not that hard finding someone better than me…” you whispered the last part, telling him all of your doubts and fears. He smiled a bit watching how you mumbled those words mostly because you were drunk as hell but he couldn’t help but feel a little bit guilty because he was the reason you were feeling that way.
“Y/n, mon amour…listen to me, I love you, and you are the only woman I want to have in my life okay? I don’t care if we have more than a ten year gap, I don’t care if you don’t want to have kids right now, I couldn’t care less, the only thing I care about is you…I love you, je t’aime…not for the sex, not because you’re young but because you’re you and I love you so much…” he said holding your hands and kissing the palm of them softly. He put one of his hands on your chin gently lifting it up so you could watch him in the eyes and see that he was telling you the truth.
“Princess why don’t we go to bed uh?” he asked you softly.
“Are you telling the truth?” you shyly asked him.
“Of course baby” he smiled at you “I would never lie to you, never…”
“Okay” you smiled back at him.
“Let me take care of you baby…” he helped removing your heels and gently carried you in your shared bedroom. He removed your leather jacket and your dress. You felt a bit vulnerable standing in front of him almost naked, not that he’s never seen you naked but in your drunken state you felt more exposed.
“You’re beautiful mon amour” he smiled at you kissing your cheek.
“Thank you” you mumbled.
He removed your bra and dressed you up in one of his clothes. Just a comfy sweater that was too big for you so you used it as a pajamas.
“Oli…” you whispered.
“Mh?” he looked at you.
“I think I have to throw up…” you rushed yourself to the toilet just in time before you let all your alcohol out.
Olivier held your hair and gently massaged your back, comforting you.
After you were done you washed your teeth while Olivier got you a glass of water.
“I’m sorry…” you said sitting on the bed.
“For what baby?” he apprehensively asked.
“For causing a scene…again…” you sobbed a little.
“You’re drunk baby, it’s fine, really, plus I don’t mind taking care of you mon amour, it’s my way to show you how much you mean to me…” he kissed your lips softly and helped you laying in bed.
Your head on his chest while his arms were wrapped around you and one of his hand was back on your hair gently stroking it. You fell asleep in a minute, too tired to even say goodnight.
“Goodnight mon amour” he whispered in your ear while he turned off the lights and held you close to his body so you could feel safe and protected.

Oliver Otto x Male Reader
Request: Nope
Desc: Oliver and reader say somethings that if these walls could talk, they would tell them to break up. (song inspo from These Walls-Dua Lipa)
Type: Angst
Warnings: Cursing, Alleged Cheating, Argument, Angst, BitterSweet Ending
Enjoy!
"Ya know what (Y/n) your always on some bs when it comes to me and Cooper" Oliver spat at you. "All Ive asked you was instead of spending so much time with Cooper maybe spend some with your boyfriend" You said. You guys had been arguing in his bed room for about 20 minutes and it wasnt pretty. Insults were thrown left and right. Maybe, you had come off a little jealous. But thats because you were. You fet like he had spent more time with cooper than with you. And it wasn't that you didnt like Cooper. It was just something about him that made you insecure about yourself around cooper. And you possibly felt like you were loosing Oliver.
“Geez (Y/n)! You can be just so dull sometimes.“
Oliver said and while it hurt, you came back quick. “You act like its so easy to find your boyfriend dependable when hes fluid!“ You say bitterly piking at hid oast relationship with Gina, which was a sensitive topic for the boy. He was hurt, of course but nothing could prepare you for what you heard.
“Maybe we should break up......“ Oliver said bitterly. He didnt really mean it. He was just being pissy. But you ended up taking it seriously. You facial expression softened along with his. You quickly got your stuff and flying out the door. He was quickly on your trail with pleads coming out hus mouth for you to stop. He apologized a thousand times. But you didnt listen. You thought its not suposed to hurt this much.
But it did. You ran to your house crying all day long. And you fell asleeo crying.... It was over.
On the other hand, Oliver sat in his chair at his desk with a palm to his head wondering how he could fix this. “If these walls could talk“ Oliver whisperes to himseld. He wasnt stupid, but he really didnt notice you felt that way. You two both had a great poker face when you wanted to. He decided to make things right.
There was a loud knock at your door. It was about 11 at night and it was just you and the dog cooper gave you for your birthday. You jumped as the dog barked. You were scared because people usually dont knock. Especially not around that time of night. You peek through the door too see Oliver. You sighed relived but tensed up at the thought of what happened. You didnt wanna be the one to break it off. You didnt even wanna break it off. “I know you’re in there“ Oliver said as you opened the door. He walked in closing your door behind him. You sat down with him and you guys sat in silence.
That was until it was broken. “im an idiot“ Oliver spoke up. “I didnt mean anything i said back there. (y/n) i just want you to understand how much i love you.“ Oliver your hand. You broke down and cried into his chest. “I know, Im sorry“ He said rocking youu back n forth. He kissed you softly. “We were really toxic back there“ You spoke up. He nodded. “I think we should get couple therapy“ you said. “Whatever you want. I just dont want this to end, baby“ Oliver said holding you close. “And from now on, its me and you. Im willing to do whatever this relationship needs, even if that includes slowing down with Cooper“ Oliver said. “Im willing to do whatever this relationship needs. Even if it includes putting my trust into you more, not that it wasnt already there, but just a little more“ You say giggling. He kisses you smiling and holding you. “I love you, Oli“ you say. “I Love you too, (y/n/n) “ He said smiling. And you fell asleep on the couch with your dog in Olivers lap sleeping with you guys.

Sirius Black, Son of Aphrodite.
Absolutely ethereal, olive skin with blemishes randomly scattered- a perfectly hooked nose, strong cheekbones and sharp yet insanely warm eyes. His nails are strong and sharp, his hair flows and curls gorgeously. He has a sort of sleeper build, strength hidden behind all the beauty. Sirius is often underestimated, it is infuriating. But he loves proving people wrong.
Strong willed, determined and beautiful. Sirius Black has a strong spirit and a stronger heart, you may think being the son of a beauty Goddess means he is some dumb blonde stereotype but you’d be wrong in multiple points. Sirius is a son of the Goddess of love, lust, beauty, pleasure, passion and procreation. And let’s say Sirius feels every ounce of passion that has made it onto her title. He is strong and caring and love burns in his core, Sirius is ruthless and you should never assume that being the son of Aphrodite, is a bad thing. He is a fighter, unlike some of his siblings. They like to joke that he is what Aphrodite saw in Ares, the strength and drive, the focus and passion.
He is incredibly protective of friends and his siblings. Especially Regulus. His brother has it hard and deserves compassion and anyone who dares to even look at him wrong will regret it when they are standing on the other side of his dagger, it was a gift from his mother after all. It is only right he uses it for such purposes. Love and Passion.
Sirius is very gifted in charmspeak, he has never been too interested in makeup, probably since he never thought he needed it, so he doesn’t dabble in the makeup magic department like some of his siblings, he does however have this very odd control of his finger nails. He typically keeps them filed down as they tend to always grow sharper and at a point. He should embrace it. Besides his charmspeak he isn’t too magically gifted, he does love close hand combat however. It is close, intimate, quick paced and he relishes it.
Aphrodite Related..
Sirius’s relationship with Aphrodite is no different than his other siblings, well other than the fact he gets gifted daggers and gifts that are generally the opposite to the others.. but I think everyone gets what they desire, not the same thing for everyone. He loves writing to her, he once voiced his insecurities to her about how he loves fighting not the more, softer things the others do. That’s when he got his first dagger, so he can say with certainty, he does love his mom and he likes to think she loves him as well..

The way she leans in and squints at the canvas makes me think that Olive needs glasses, but she doesn´t wear them because she feels insecure about it, so I made a quick little doodle!

MASTERLIST ↠ LAUREL LANCE MASTERLIST
Part 2 : Okay, Well I Guess That’s It Then
Summary: Today becomes the worst day ever when you catch the love of your life in bed with another person.
Warnings: cheating, swearing, angst with no happy ending
Pairings: Laurel Lance x reader, Laurel Lance x Oliver Queen
Prompt: “Tell me how to fix this! Please!” “That’s just it… you can’t.”
Tumblr media
↠↠↠
“WHAT THE FUCK?!”
“Shit! Y/N! What’re you doing here?” Laurel’s body shot up, pushing the body that was on top of her off; panic spread across her features.
“I was going to surprise you by making you dinner, seeing as you texted me saying that you were stressed about the Isaac case. But it looks like I was the one who was surprised.” You laughed sarcastically. “I’m leaving…”
“No no! Don’t leave! Tell me how to fix this! Please!” Laurel cried out, trying to scramble off the bed; nearly tripping when the sheets wrapped around her legs. However, she was quick to recover, wrapping the bedsheets around her nude body. Her companion dashed out from beneath the covers, guilt spread across his face.
“That’s just it… you can’t. Because this is unforgivable.” You said calmly, grabbing your purse. “You know…” You turned back, deciding that you had more to say to your cheater of an ex-girlfriend. “I always knew that you still loved him. I just didn’t think that you would do this to me.” Oliver was pulling on his pants, while trying to find his shirt.
“Y/N…” He tried to deescalate the situation.
“You, shut the fuck up!” You screamed at him. “I want you both out of my apartment! I want you out of here. Get out and don’t come back.”
“No! Baby please!” The Lance begged, wrapping her arms around your legs as her own gave up on her.  She buried her face in your thighs, causing you to think back on all the times she had done that when you two had a lazy day. “I’m sorry. This was a huge mistake. I didn’t mean for this to happen. I’m so sorry.”
“Get off me, Lance.” You growled out, practically kicking her off of you. You could feel the tears filling your eyes, but you clenched your jaw, refusing to give them the satisfaction of watching you break down. “How long has this been going on?” You demanded.
“Y/N/N, baby please!!!”
“How long?!” You screamed.
“Al-” Laurel stuttered. “Almost a year…” She muttered, looking down at her hands.
“God! I’m an idiot…” You ran a shaky hand through your hair, your vision blurring slightly.
“Sunshine please!” She tried begging again. By now, Oliver had already left, shame enveloping him like a cloud as he closed the front door. “Tell me how I can make this better.”
“What do you want me to say?! That a ‘sorry’ will suffice? ‘Cause it won’t. You betrayed me! Betrayed my trust! You’ve been lying to me for a year now! You were screwing someone behind my back! And during that time, you acted like I was the love of your life! How could you do this to us, Laurel?! To me!?”
“I-I don’t know… God what have I done?!” She began muttering to herself, eyes wide, darting everywhere.
“Why did you do this, Laurel? I thought that we were happy, but I guess not seeing how you threw 3 years of our relationship down the drain. I can’t believe that I thought for one second that you really loved me. Because you don’t! You love Oliver! He is everything I can’t be, right? He’s rich, handsome, social, fit, and outgoing. Everything I’m not and never will be able to be. He’s the love of your life.” Your voice broke during the last bit but you refused to let the tears fall.
Laurel felt her heart breaking, she knew about your insecurities. She knew you felt like you weren’t good enough for her. And here she was, going from being the person that glued your broken heart back together to the person who broke it all over again. “Darling…” She sobbed, holding her hands in front of her, begging you.
“Don’t ‘darling’ me! I’m not your darling anymore. And apparently, I never was if you were so willing to fall into another person’s arms. I can’t believe I fell under your spell… Get out, you can collect your things tomorrow when I’m at work. But for now, I suggest you find a place to stay.” You opened the front door, escorting her out. Not before throwing her a pair of pants and a shirt seeing as she was still wrapped in the bedsheets.
“No, please… baby! I love you so much. Please don’t leave me.” She sobbed.
“You should have thought of the consequences, Laurel. After all, weren’t you the one to tell me that each action has a consequence?” You slam the front door in her face. Her sobs echoing in your mind, as you lean against the door, sliding down. “Fuck,” You whispered, finally letting the tears fall.
