lil headcannons cus i’m bored and have no motivation to finish my stories rn IM SORRY

definitely was silent by your side during the birth, didn’t want to annoy you with any comments cause he could tell the amount of pain you were in

let you grip onto his hand like you were gonna break it, hurt him a lot but he wouldn’t let you let go of him even tho it made him lowkey shed a tear

gives you a kiss when the baby is finally out, thanking you and congratulating you first before he coddled the baby

notices the baby has his eyes but your facial structure, dies from happiness

check all over his daughter to make sure everything looks okay cus he’s obsessive over his girlies like that

if his daughter starts crying late into the night he forces you back down to sleep so he can take care of her and soothe her

goes hunting early morning so he can spend the rest of the day taking care of both of you

even though you’re no longer pregnant he grew the habit or not letting you do much, so he braids your hair still, puts your top and loincloth on, cleans up for you etc

brings back pretty flowers or colorful woods/craft material and gives to his daughter, makes her small beads that you put in her hair

once she’s grown up she’s an ABSOLUTE daddy’s girls, he tends to still look over her as if she was a child and scares away any potential mates like, “come near my daughter again and i’ll skin you”

he taught her how to hunt efficiently, didn’t allow anyone else to do it because he wanted to make sure she wouldn’t get hurt in someone else’s care

he even crafted her own dagger when she came of age

tsu’tey literally cried when she claimed her first ikran for her coming of age, you had to hide his face because he didn’t want others seeing him so vulnerable

you were dying laughing

your daughter was embarrassed though, like “daaaaaaaad stop you’re embarrassing me right now!” mid wrestle with her ikran

sets a strict curfew for her because hello??? tsu’tey starts panicking if she’s late or even goes out cus he’s so protective

you have to make sure he’s not overbearing though and that she can have some actual freedom as other teen na’vi do

let’s her friends come over because he literally can’t say no to her, you then force him to clean up the mess they made cus you told him only two friends were okay but he agreed to like five

you love seeing them bond. seeing them hunting together, making new weapons that match, putting matching beads in their hair so all three of you match warms your heart sm.

he always shows her that the biggest/shiniest bead in his songcord is for when she was born, made her cry when she first found out.

overall he’s definitely a girl dad u cant tell me otherwise

FINALLY!

Took long enough but its done at last. After seeing @monsterultra-peachykineema 's knitted version, and being completely unwilling to spend mad duckets on a jacket I'd never wear, i was inspired to crochet myself a kim cardigan instead!

The sleeves are a touch too long on me but ITS FINE THEY'RE FINE LMAO. They're gonna get pushed up anyway because i prefer my sleeves 3/4 OR covering my hands so this is the best of both worlds. The back patch looks slightly skeewhiff but i promise you it's centered lol

No proper modelled shots of the finished thing yet due to hubstand being busy but here's a shot from once the main construction was done

For reference, hubstand is five ten and slim and has already claimed it as their own 😑

Overall im pretty happy with how it turned out, especially for my first actual crocheted garment. Tho now i never want to crochet ever again 😂😂😂

My Thoughts on Tales of the Empire; mostly Barriss (spoilers ahead!)

Ah hello all, i have had some days or so to think since watching the show and to say it has completely wiped me of my life force would be... pretty accurate tbh. BUT I HAVE FINALLY DECIDED TO POST MY THOUGHTS. will this cover my entire though process that im sTill working through? PROBABLY NOT! my thoughts are very unorganized and very unstable! ANYWAAAAYS.

Now I just gotta say overall, the show itself definitely passed the test. To be completely honest, i wasn't really paying attention to the Morgan parts as i was the Barriss parts, since it was literally what I was looking forward to this entire time.

Though I will say that the first Morgan episode was pretty neat! it was crazy seeing that perspective of the Nightsisters again and god did they make Grievous fucking terrifying. Honestly, bravo to them, it was amazing. I diiiiid end up just.. kinda spacing out the rest of it tho unfortunately cuz i just wanted to see barriss..

Visuals 10000/10. stunning, amazing, phenomenal, gahdamn. the animation was so smooth and fluid and uGHH it was amazing throughout the entire show. Acting amazing as always. BUT GOD I CANT GET OVER HOW AMAZING THE ANIMATION WAS.

NOW.

In my opinion, they got her character pretty on the dot. I am SO glad they did. I was rlly rlly worried they were totally butcher her character and make her unrecognizable to all of us but oml they didn't completely disappoint us, she has her morals, SHES STILL A HEALER! Im so happy from that.

Now although i did enjoy it, i do have my own little complaints.

Now okay one i noticed since the trailer and has REALLY been bugging me; where are her hand tattoos??? idk i guess i just wasn't expecting them to just be gone?? they couldn't have just forgotten them.. right? I dunno, but unless someone has a genuine answer for that, imma just keep drawing them on her in the future.

Alright another thing i've been seeing ppl post about is how come she looked so old at the end? I am also confused on that and i've seen multiple theories. She should only be like 30-35 max right?? Because i'm assuming the last episode took place a the time in Rebels where the inquisitors were after the force sensitive children, and Ahsoka was around that age a the time, so why is Barriss any different?

I suppose the one i think makes the most sense is the force healing? I guess it could take a toll on her over the years causing her to look more aged, but still, i'd really prefer an explanation. Also what happened to her hair coverings?? Is that not her culture?? I dunno, again, i really need an explanation. I suppose that maybe her perspective has changed since trying to come to terms with her new life, and her ditching the coverings is a way to free herself from her past? Honestly i have no clue but i just need a lot of things answered.

That's mostly my complaints on it! I just felt things weren't explained enough but to be fair, they only gave her like 3 15-ish min episodes?? I really think they got some explaining to do. Which brings me to my next points.

I'm like... 98% sure that the "old friend" is Ahsoka that she was talking about. Who else would it be?? Like cmon. And if it is Ahsoka, why did we not get to see anything about the moment of confrontation? or at least more of a mention? I guess they wouldn't rlly wanna rush that scene, and tbh, im glad they didn't. It's not some "we talk for 5 min and everything is fine" type of situation. it'll take time. time to rebuild that trust. time to discuss. YEAH. I've heard many people state how it would be more likely and realistic to see a novelization of that and i agree. I would want it to take time, showing the build of the relationship over time, going on further into the story as we watch their strong bond mend from the trauma it's faced. I'm not saying this as a crazed Barrissoka shipper, i mean it that I would genuinely want to see how that confrontation is handled, as do many others and not just as a ship!! It's been a decade! the fans wanna know!

And my last point.

I.believe.Barriss.is.alive.

The more i rewatch it, the more i believe it. the first time around i had my doubts, but something tells me they are NOT done with her character. At least before the stabbing scene anyway. There's too much stuff that's left unanswered for it to just end that way! I dunno man, but Lyn's "i'm going to get you out of here" sounded way too determined for a "im going to move your body out of here" type of thing yk? maybe she could sense she was still alive, just barely hanging in there? I don't think they are done with Barriss Offee, and I wont think so unless we see her corpse being fucking BURIED. Not to mention the UNGODLY amount of parallels of that scene along with them exiting the cave. I've already seen so many point it out. Post-Vader and Ahsoka fight on Malachor?? Back when we all thought Ahsoka may or may not be dead?? sounds familiar hello?? Also a parallel from earlier in the show itself when Barriss saves that unnamed jedi! she HEALS them when they were going to be left there. Something tells me the same fate may happen to Barriss. Idk call me crazy but i will say it again, i don't think they are done with her story.

Sevika didn't get crushes. That was something she barely even had time to think about. Of course that went straight out the window when you walked into the picture. With your bright smile, giddy charms, and beautiful fuckin face.

She told herself that for months.

Over that time, she got to know you. How you prefer to wear something baggy and comfortable than something tight and suffocating. She learned that you are a great dancer when you're fuckin drunk out your mind. How you loved to pick flowers and give them to random people in the street. How selfless you were and loved to make people happy. How free you felt when you spoke about things you loved.

Sevika did not get crushes.

But no, the minute you giggled at something she didn't even think was remotely funny, you had her hooked. You had your claws dug deep right into her heart, and she didn't know what to do. She's never loved anyone before, how the fuck does she love someone? how does someone act so happy around her knowing what she does? who she is?

Sevika would be ruthless, she would push you away in any way possible just to protect her heart. Would slide snarky replies into conversation towards you. Would even go to the lengths of ignoring whatever it was that you told her, simply because she was fuckin scared to love someone. She never meant her words, but sometimes her mouth runs course by itself, and half the time it ends with a "Can you leave me the fuck alone?" never intentionally trying to hurt you, but she has never let anyone have her heart. How could she let someone so precious for this world have it?

She's never seen someone look so defeated, heartbroken, and overall done with life until she noticed those tears running down your pretty face. You've been nothing but kind and sweet to her, so why would she make you cry? why was she being mean to you when you've done nothing wrong? You didn't know, fuck, even she didn't really know why, all she knew was she thought she was protecting her heart. And somehow it ran away with you when you quickly stormed out of the Last Drop.

The thing was, she was in love with you. She loved the way you didn't care about anyone's opinion, but you cared deeply about hers. Just hers. She adored it when you would light up, a bright smile on your face at the mention of something you liked doing. She studied you, constantly. She loved when you would cover your face, hiding the blush coating your cheeks behind your locks at how she looked at you. Loved your smile. She thought you were so beautiful, yet she was the one who made you cry. She didn't like that.

You were intimidated by her, to say the least. She always had that cold, blank emotionless look in her eyes that pretty much said "Don't speak to me, or breath near me" but that just made you try harder. You loved that she could shut someone down with just a sigh. Loved that she could scare someone just for looking at her the wrong way. Loved how she didn't take shit from anyone. You were so in awe of her and then knowing she didn't even want to know you? That breaks your heart more than anything.

Jinx, as much as she could not stand Sevika with the fuckin life of her could tell just how much the situation upset you more than angered you. She wasn't stupid, god she was never stupid. You stayed in your room longer than necessary. Barely smiling when she saw you. You didn't even have the efforts to make yourself look presentable.

She upset you a week ago.

A week you have not stepped foot outside your apartment.

That blue-haired girl could always catch the Brute at random, awkward times, so it was no surprise she almost shoved the woman down the fuckin stairs, having some decency to not actually let her fall.

"God fucking damn it. Watch it, you little devil"

"Listen to me you Ogre. Do you understand how badly you have fucked up? I know you have a hard time seeing things because you're so old, but do you see what you've done?"

"Did you snort shimmer, or am I missing your point in this question?"

"Do you not see how much you upset them?"

As much as Jinx despised her, she wanted to fix this for the both of you. She could tell how much you adored Sevika just by how you watched her, how you watched the way she tucks the loose strands of hair behind her ear. How you eyed up the way her mechanical hand rested under her cloak, tucked away from everyone else, but you saw. And it just made you want to touch it. Brush your fingers lightly over the metal, to feel the low hum of the piece of art. Treasure it like she did.

Part of Sevika wanted to run back out of the office the second Jinx closed the door. Slightly worried she was going to either try fuckin ripping her arm off because of what she had said to you or scream, but the other part of her, wanted to listen. She needed to listen.. or just hear how you were. Jinx was also never one to sugarcoat shit. "You're both disgustingly in love with each other, I'm sick"

Of course, the Brute is going to deny it the minute those words are in the air. Denying she has any feelings towards you. Because it's what she does. She can't handle her own emotions most of the time. No matter how fuckin hard she tries, just hearing how much you adore her, how much she makes you feel safe, and how fucking cool she is, she can't help but finally let that frustrated sigh out. She hated how upset she made you. How she made you cry. Oh, the crying.. she hated herself.

"I know you are like so scary or whatever, but please fix it. God fix it, or ill hurt you"

Rain. You never minded it, sometimes it just made you feel content with the world around you. You loved tracing the condensation that accumulated on the window, drawing random patterns and sometimes hearts. This time? Sevika's name. You felt like a lost puppy who just lost it'sfuckin owner, and you were pondering the meaning of life. You missed her. You missed the cigarette-mixed alcohol musk she always had clinging to her clothes. The way she would deviously smirk at whoever lost against⎯

"Can you open the damn door? It's fucking freezing out here!"

Poor you almost fell into the bookshelf at the sudden voice. You've not heard her voice in a week, somehow you slowly forgot what she sounded like, and the fact she was here? right outside your apartment door? that made you panic. Worried she was here to yell at you again. Scared. Hopeless.

"What do you want..?"

"To talk to you, please open the door"

In all honesty, both of you were exhausted. You both felt like nothing was going to be okay until you talked this out. Deep down, even if she was afraid to admit it, Sevika needed you. She needed you more than anything in life, and she wouldn't be able to bear it if you hated her.

Fresh tear-stained, red cheeks were what Sevika was met with when you finally gained the courage to open the door, hair messy and more than likely tangled. She looked like she hasn't slept in months, even though it's been a week. Before she looked so full of life, glowing even, and right now she looked like she would rather be drinking constantly than be happy.

"What did you want to talk about?" Your voice was barely there, and that made her tense. She didn't like she was the reason you looked and sounded so defeated. If only she could have just accepted her feelings for you from the start, then you both wouldn't be here like this right now.

"I just⎯ don't actually know how to word this, never really had to apologize before⎯ but I don't want to be like that with you... I want to be honest with you. I don't want to be scared to admit things to you. To admit that sometimes I can be an asshole, even when I don't mean to be.. I can be cruel.. I can be heartless but with you it's different. You don't treat me like that.. you treat me like a person and sometimes it freaks me the fuck out because you're the first person to⎯ to see me, all of me.. and it fucking scares me how comfortable and safe i feel with you. That night, i never meant to hurt you or upset you, i was just scared.. you scare me⎯ wait, that's not how i meant to word that, you scare me because i actually trust myself around you by being myself, i trust you and that scares me. Im scared because i love you, and i have no idea what I'm doing"

Human contact with anyone always made her freeze, so it wasn't surprising she tensed up the minute you wrapped your arms around her body tightly when you spotted her own tears running down her face and she was shaking like a leaf, she was not used to this kind of affection. But she did relax, when you rested your head against her chest, holding onto her like she was about to disappear, inhaling that cigarette alcohol mix left on her shirt.

-draw three silly little characters, one of which is a way 2 draw myself in severe distress

-draw/write one to be a caring, motherly, gentle and patient lady (lets call her F)

-re-purpose "me in distress" as the embodiment of unhealthy habits, a voice that tells you to act out of desperation, hopelessness, etc (S)

-assign last character as Me, my (then) current self who is weak and stressed and heavily influenced by S. (B)

-write little comics where B is venting, and depending on my mental state, either S tells me bad things or F tries to calm me down and guide me. still dont know how to be gentle to myself.

-the years pass, still using this coping method, altough unregularly.

-i get better through therapy, meds & overall better surroundings

-i feel bad one day and decide to roleplay with F.

-through me vocally using her character, she tells me how lovely i am, how happy she is to know me, and that shes proud of my progess

-i am not even entirely steering her words at some point, she wont stop saying nice things (felt good tho!)

-i take vocal control back, thank her and tell her im happy i made her all those years ago

i am a singlet but am microdosing alters ????

its fr strange how its Very Much coping roleplay, yet looks and kinda felt like F was kinda not 100% me.

im pretty sure thered be more confusion, amnesia, "voices" and such if i was a system... right? (looks at systems whose host didnt find out for decades)

Strong, powerful people have always held a very special place in his heart. Throughout his entire existence, strength has been the most defining thing that drew him to people. His first crush was Hungary, who could break his arm in her grasp. The most important person ever to grace his lifetime was someone who could easily command great armies. So when sweep him off his feet, he knows it’s meant to be.

He absolutely adores how strong you are. Whether you’re muscley, lean, or neither, he just finds you endlessly attractive. A lot of the time he’ll goad you into manual labour just so he can stare at your muscles while they’re working. And who are you to not oblige his less-than-subtle request? His drooling face is just as enjoyable for you as you are to him.

Please pick him up and carry him around please, please- he’d be so, so happy

But just because he can’t get enough of your physique, doesn’t mean he isn’t gonna be a little emasculated. Of course, not enough to be an actual problem (he’s not that shallow!) but he’s gonna try to prove himself just a little.

“At least it’s only a couple flights of stairs!” You yell, hoping your boyfriend can hear you from behind. Which, wait, he is behind you right?

You turn around to check, not hearing his footsteps for a moment, only to be greeted with the utterly ridiculous sight of him. Gilbert grunts and groans, taking only baby steps as he tries to carry the last 20 grocery bags in one trip.

“You- You don’t have to do that, baby!”

“Don’t doubt me!”

“I’m not doubting you! People are just uh… staring.”

“Yeah, bet they’ve never seen a guy as strong as me- AH!” He yells before immediately slipping on the first stair up to your apartment. All you can do is put your face to your palm as he yelps, desperately scrounging around on the ground to try to recoup the groceries he had comically thrown in the air.

Plus, if you’re big into maintaining your strength, that’s great! You can come along with him to work out! He’s something of a gym rat himself, so having someone along to encourage and be encouraged by is something he really values. Plus he can glare at anyone that’s checking you out. (He is very willing to yell at them. And it’s always German yelling. Effective, but at what cost?)

But if you’re just into sports, he’s gonna be your number-one fan. Like, legit, he’ll run fan pages. He would miss anything to support you at a game. You need a water boy? Please, please, let him be your waterboy.

Of course, he’ll always support German teams over your own, but he also thinks you personally should win instead. So it’s not a big deal.

He’s also very eager to show you off. He’s never had the… best taste in partners, so he’s very excited to finally have someone strong and kind to bring home! Plus, his entire family is also strong as hell, so maybe you guys can have a competition. Yes, he’s the only one that wants that, but it’s important to him, damnit! He’s gotta prove you’re the best one there

Overall, he loves his S/O no matter what, but your strength is one of his favourite things about you. He’ll be there for you when you’re weak, just as he’ll be there to admire you when you’re doing incredible things. He just loves… you.

Which Horse was your first purchase? Do you still own that horse, and what did you name it?

so when i started playing sso (2017?) i occasionally saw people ride this horse, i still remember being in moorland as a n00b and stopping in my tracks to look at it bc i was blown away:

im weak for "lighter mane colour than coat colour" horses and this one has a unique colour so it really stood out to me. plus, im a friesian enjoyer as far as irl horses go, even if sso friesians have never been quite right to me (including this one).

so i googled where to get this horse, okay, new hillcrest. i told myself: thats the horse i want, i dont need to buy any other horse until i can get it bc i dont care that much about any other horse ive seen so far anyway. (i obvs didnt have much sc, since id just started) i had no idea how long it would take to get to NH at this point lol.

then i play for some time and i get to firgrove (i think that was where it was at least). and im met by......

.... this guy who i just love. hes so cute. i stare at him and question if i have to stick to my decision to save up sc for the friesian. eventually i decide that it seems like its a long time until i unlock NH anyway, so its okay if i get him in the meantime.

so he was my first bought horse, and it was a great decision bc then he was my main (very beloved) horse for a long time. his name is Snowspell but i also call him Pelle (swedish name). this was also before the starter horse got gen3'd, so Pelle just looked better than Winterborn dsfgkjdfs... but i rode him all the time and loved him so much.

eventually when i got to NH, i think id bought at least one other horse (the blue old magic horse), and also, when i actually was face to face with the friesian i wanted, i realised i didnt like it that much. i felt like the face wasnt that pretty, and overall it looks a bit plasticky like a toy. i did buy one (shes called MorningDream, i think maybe shes called Morning Sun in my brain tho) and then just didnt ride her at all basically..... until 2-3 years ago when i suddenly realised that i love her with red tack on, she looks like a beautiful christmas toy horse, so we got a happy ending too.

Which Horse is your favorite? Do you own said horse, or are you simply dreaming of buying it?

basically Winterborn my starter is my emotional favourite like, he doesnt have the best model, but i cant imagine not having him (or a replacement for him if they released another horse that has the same colour and vibes, to take over the title of heart horse vessel).

at the moment my non-starter favourite is my ardennes Meatball (registered name Walnut) and im really frustrated that hes not good for champs bc i want to ride him all the time. i have a lot of beloved horses though so i will just leave it at current obsession and heart horse for now.

Which Breed is your favorite? Which Generation is it from, and why do you love it so much?

it might be the ardennes. the appaloosa is also up there. in general i seem to like Nomi's horses bc they have the most personality, both in the model and animation, and also in the small details in the coats, all together it makes them feel more alive. i dont like the ones that lack interesting mouth / tongue / eye / nose animations, and i dont like ones that have too undetailed coats (which looks plasticky to me). also i love hairy horses so ardennes hits a lot of points for me.

kinda sad that sugar apple fairy tale finished its season today, but i did enjoy the finale ♥ i wish they had one more episode to work with so the finale didn't look so rushed— i wish we had at least seen the journey back to the paige workshop or some other transition between rafael's defeat/the fairies gaining back their wings to anne being back at the workshop, but overall i thought it was a good ending!

i'm particularly happy about the anne and bridget moment bc that's what i've been thinking about for days, how much i wanted them to be friends and to see bridget grow and i think it was done beautifully! to learn that bridget finally found a middle ground with her father, that she finally has a role other than wife-to-be, and the happiness that it brought her... what an amazing character arc.

i also enjoyed anne and shall's talk a lot... granted, i am a fan of angst and yearning, but even if i wasn't, i had the feeling that somehow that was a confession in itself? anne saying that if she's ever to be truly, perfectly happy, then shall would be free from his promise and do what he wants too, it's not only a "if you love someone, let them go" moment, but also implies (to us, the audience) that it's kinda impossible for her to be ever truly, perfectly happy without him by his side. a troublesome promise, indeed. and when she thinks about the late fairy and human kings friendship while looking at shall, that was so tender and hopeful, too? idk i really enjoyed that moment (but i understand that it was also heartbreaking)

and finally, the scene with the sugar confections on display inside the church was SOOOOO pretty, it really made it all feel worth it in the end :') and it was just so very symbolic that there were all these humans and fairies celebrating together under a ceiling painting depicting the fairy and human kings, like their wish has started to come true just then... it was a really special ending to the season i think! i really hope that we get to have another season some time, but if not, im pretty satisfied with what we got in these 2 cours ♥

gonna miss my weekly rambling about this series tho :') it was fun interacting with people every friday!
