I can't sleep or do anything else so I'm gonna post thoughts on lone star. (mainly about ep6)

[i'm still excited for it and I'm still really into it, but I've had mental dip and I'm not really fucked atm.]

I think the bomb ep was good enough, I liked how they finished that plot line. I dont mind Owen but I don't love him but he's funny so I don't care. and I'm kinda confused at the antis- bc it's literally the Owen show anyway, so if u don't like him and you actively hate every second he's on screen why are you watching the show? noones making u.

another point is the disappointment people feel with tarlos, i feel it too, and im not gonna lie but clowning is not the profession i wanted. but then I think, this isn't the tarlos show. It just isn't. even the tarlos heavy episodes aren't. It's all a promo thing, and it's all hyped up because it's a gay couple on tv.

maybe I'm bitter because representation is for sure "everywhere" but it's still fucking scarce even when they brand their whole fucking show around the representation.

they get alot of money from this show so they won't jeopardise that by overly gaying it and at the same time they won't risk losing their gay audience so they find a shitty balance and feed us bread crumbs.

I'm also really angry that I'm at the point where I have to say that representation is disappointment.

side note: if u watch the show and love to hate it, that's chill, but don't go hating on other people's views because it's just pointless. everyone has their own opinion. just be respectful. and there's enough catfights between us as a fandom and the writers already we don't need infighting too.

there's a difference between being frustrated about a lack of representation and getting annoyed at others in this community for watching regardless.

so yeah bomb episode was good, I liked the action parts, and the team up of O'brien and Carlos. I like O'brien so I hope he sticks around for a few more eps. I like his chemistry with Owen and I think they'd be a cool duo together. didn't like the whole 'is he a nazi?' thing.

I like the banter, episode five felt more like lone star again. to drive this point home, in true lone star fashion, no follow up on Carlos being kidnapped he's just fine now 0:). I'm not even suprised.

saw the synopsis for next episode and I can't wait till tomorrow for marjan to join us again!

i got 100/105 points on my math final!!!! and my teacher gives everybody five bonus points on every test so that means that i have a “perfect” score on the final

#here’s an extra little tag because i do feel really bad that the percentage is visible without expanding the tags #because i hate when people just talk about what their grades are or especially irl. i have friends with a 4.0 gpa i hate when they compare #and they’re like oh man well i have a 3.99 but you have a 4.0. and im over here a lot lower than either of them. but anyway #my st paul college grade will be lower for everything #but my high school grade is currently at 93%#well. 92.99% but #im still really happy i haven’t done that well in math classes the past couple years #but i guess the last time i took a math class school had just mysteriously turned online and i had never done a zoom call before #and i’ve always been better at algebra than other math. so #anyway im proud im really proud. i was more proud when i thought i had got nothing wrong but im still proud #i just made silly little mistakes like i forgot to include -2 as a square root of 4 and stuff like that and i forgot to factor before #finding multiplicities. stuff like that and i made 5 points worth of mistakes in total #and so im still really proud and now im done with this class forever and im officially a former college student so!!!! that’s pretty cool #me. my post. mine.#delete later

You got invited to the SIDEMEN Tinder In Real Life youtube video. You are acutely aware to what the Sidemen are and you've seen their videos before. Now to be fair, the genres between your channel and their channels were pretty different. The Sidemen were known for football challenges, those 100$ vs 100,000$ challenges and other things with a similar vibe. You on the other hand, you did vlogs, lifestyle hack and tips, in your time you've achieved some disstracks and occasionally broke down some formula 1 grand prix weekend.

The moment you saw the instagram dm from the Sidemen official account you weren't sure how to react. Should you be excited? scared? worried? yeah.. all. It was the Sidemen, Logan Paul, Mike and George (idk who Mike and George but who cares).

Eventually you accepted the offer and waited till the day you had to be "picked up" by kinda random men for 5 minutes straight. The day came, you got dressed for the video shoot, they made you wait with the other girls until they called your name and then you walked in.

Uglysketches but working on a fucked up and evil normalcore TF2 Grocery Store AU because I was bored at work and I want them to suffer from having a normal average life as much as I do…. Demo and Sniper are both cashiers, Engineer is HR (he has a comb over rn but all his hair falls out later from stress, there’s a whole arc about it just wait), Administrator is ofc the big store owner and Pauling is the manager. Soldier would definitely be a shift lead and a total hard ass. Tentative on what the other characters would be, Heavy would be like the guy that like is behind the deli ofc, I think Scout and Pyro would be on floor/stocking/janitorial (Scout would be high as a kite and take 15 minute bathroom breaks and pyro would be doing most all the work), Spy would probably like be idk security but the like kind thag just sits and watches cameras all day (im conflicted because that’s more so administrators cup of tea, wayching cameras, but like irl why would an owner waste their time doing that when they can hire some other asshole to do it for them), erm Medic would be, I’m not sure, probably also HR but the the completely useless kind, he’s just HR because he’d love the gossip.

I’ve put a lot of heart and soul of personal experience into this soulless corporatecore grocerypilled tf2 AU, yeah… *blushes and kicks ground twiddles thumbs smiles etc etc*

IM ACTUALLY REWORKING HER DESIGN RNNNN bcs i made her on the sims 4 LMAO and realised how much better and concise she looked, but i really wanna try and make her look like someone you'd js see irl? sooOOo tryna make her also recognisable from silhouette alone and blahablahblah tho she isn't the kind of character that would rlly make too much of a difference in the tf2 universe

i js wanted to make a loveable character LMAO who'd have more of an impact on the relationships and kinda the story?

i liked the idea of miss p having an extroverted bestfriend who's also her wingwoman bcs miss pauling is obvs an awkward lesbian mess who needs help in the love department, and vice versa bcs zoey is into scout and miss pauling is js so glad to have him move on n realise that they r better as friends!! and that he needs to be with someone who isn't annoyed by him 24/7 (IM SORRY, LWNAKS MY SELF-INSERTEDNESS GOT IN THE WAY HAHAHAHA I CANT HELP IT) also, i haven't rlly thought of any orientation for zoey... i'm thinking of her js being a het woman or js whatever u wanna interpret her as!! cuz her sexuality isn't a core thing abt her

she's an absolute harbinger of chaos who'd do anyt for money and some company (this girl has been hella lonely n stressed out of her mind and i'll explain why in an oc post🤭🤭) and even tho she never outright admits it, she does enjoy the freedom of violence she gets to have as a mann co assistant 😭 (which will ALSO make sense when i explain her background to u guys later on)

and bcs of her long experience w shady bosses and asshole customers she's had to deal within all the jobs she's had, she catches onto the administrator's whole thing with the australium fairly early into the job, but she's in tooooo deep now and is like "damn. do i get myself out of this fucked up job (that i am fucked up enough to actually enjoy) or do i stay bcs i literally have everything i've ever wanted....shit." like,, she did say she'd do anyt for money but at the cost of what 😭 [also MAN i wish we got that final comic so i can js make zoey's suspicions make sense??!?@ but in a way it js works bcs it's js this massive mystery that we don't even know of ourselves???? so likeee, im js assuming its smth rlly dangerous or smth bcs helen literally goes to the most insane lengths to get australium and finish off her final... thingy.. that uh DEBT is it... i forgot what she called it BUT WHATEVER BUSINESS SHE HAD TO ATTEND TO B4 SHE DIED QOABJASH]

OH AND YEAH, zoey hates how bossy the admin is and is an ass abt it at times, and the admin wants zoey gone so badly bcs shes an annoying little shit (which she is and honestly, her and scout can be annoying shits tgt <3) but miss p always convinces her to keep zoey BAGAHAHA and they do get things done much faster w zoey there sooOoOOo 🌝🤭

i mean she does try to kill both miss p & l anyway but still, she can't deny that they r both good at what they do

Even if Jay Pinkerton confirmed her as a lesbian (on Twitter, not even in canon), Jay doesn't speak for Valve. He wrote the comics and Jungle Inferno, he had no hand in Expiration Date which outright ships the two on-screen and has Pauling enthusiastically agree to a second date with Scout, nor Pauling's prior writing (such as her newspaper clipping where she's seeking a romantic partner and never specifies the necessary gender of said partner). If Valve itself comes out and says Pauling is strictly a lesbian then maybe I'll change my tune, but I'm not taking a standalone writer's word on something he didn't even write into canon, and until that's done or Valve itself says so, I don't see why people can't just let people fucken enjoy things.

It just breeds toxicity and people wonder why no one wants to interact and shit. It's because fandom jumps on anyone who goes against the grain and drives them out through toxicity and hostility. And it's sad to see cuz I love this fandom, but the fandom never seems to love itself or its artists/authors/etc

ETA: Also for what it's worth, I never really see this issue for SniperPauling. Just ScoutPauling, which is weird. Also while I'm an author I don't write anything for Pauling ships. I think her and Scout make a cute couple but that's about as far as my shipping goes. I'm really not that much into shipping, so all of this being said and judged as an outsider looking in and how I've seen people attack each other. I'd rather stay on the sidelines
