Idk how much you like Arven headcanons but Clavell is involved in one way so-

Thanks to Mabosstiff's injury, Arven has a fear of storms, specifically thunder and lightning, because that's what hurt Mabosstiff. That's what hurt his only friend.

Clavell always tries to warn Arven of upcoming storms, so he's not caught off guard. He's seen Arven freak out during thunderstorms, and the last thing he wants to see is his kid's frantic eyes looking up at him for mercy. This is the least he can do unless Arven directly reaches out.

I’m all for the hurt comfort~

I can see Arven being scared of loud noises like thunders

Speaking of my au, I can see him being particularly upset and unsettled by a storm and either Riley or (on this case) Dadvell coming to the rescue and staying with Arven for the whole thing. Just being there for him, keeping him company and making him think about something else
