Ok but in other news. Etho claims in grians latest video that it is not him building the statues. Do you believe him? Who do you think it is?

I feel like at first MAYBE it was etho but now it's a bunch of different people cause the styles they're done in is extreamly varied.

like compare the original etho one to skizzes and then to bdubs? very different styles in terms of blocks used and proportions. 🤔 in my experience of building lil statuses of people in minecraft it's easy to stick to a formula once u got one. So unless it's 1 person purpofully trying to throw the viewers off it's likely multiple people. that's my take I could be wrong. (or the 1 person got too tired of sticking to one style and decided to shake it up per statue.) if I wanted to get super conspiracy about it I could say that the hermits are playing a game? like a pass it on hermit missions type thing? and seeing how far it can go without the viewers realizing? in all honesty it's like just like 2-3 hermits doing this as a bit. or just 1 hermit doing it but being really weird about their block pallete.

I don't know how to put it but mumbos is the 1 that throws me off. it's really cute in a familiar way. I feel like it was done by one of the builders on the server maybe grian? idk I don't want to put too many concrete accusations down cause I don't want the embarrassment of being completely wrong lmao

Headshots, castings, and the vibe you give out is what to analyze in this house. This can tell you the style of headshots you should get by looking at the sign for colors/vibes to give off. This house is all about first introductions. What do you want them to know about you? Casting could also be dependent on this house, as it could rule over people simply looking at you to see if you should audition or not (like what vibes do you give off and why would cast you for blah blah blah). Your outward personality also shows in this house, and it could give you a type of act they could steer you to playing (like bombshell, crazy fella, fem fatale, things like that).

✯Roles

The roles you get could be because of the vibe you give off (look at the planets/sign teehee). Your personality could carry you more than your ability, (if you have HEAVY placements tho) granting you more roles. For roles you might have a specific type of outfit and right off the bat you know what you’re dealing with kinda characters. In my mind it’s what you see is what you get with the planets in this house, so the roles you’d get would fit that saying. Are you a detective, boom, you look like one. Bombshell? Bomb you look like a mf queen, like shit like that. Aries gets straight to the point, so does this house, and so do your roles. This could also tell you how you handle your money when it comes to films, a part of me wants to say budget-but budget like what of your own money to you put into projects, and what would they go towards (depends on the planets and sign yknow the drill). This can also point to talents you could have (like you could look at comedy related asteroids or something and see if they’re there you know the vibe)

Characters that involve opulence, style and class may be roles to lean towards. Being able to dress up and show out may appeal, like the exact opposite of a role you have to de-glam for. Since this is the house of skills and values, you may shift toward characters that put them on display, and you put a lot of value into said skills, regardless of what they are. Roles for these placements remind me of the old Hollywood kinda classics like Breakfast at Tiffany's and Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, that glamorous kind of role that give enough space to show off your skills. Roles at involve slow burns or sometimes even food as well (if not chef, there could just be a lot of dining room scenes of that makes sense idk I just thought I’d throw in the Taurus food cliche thing here)

Embodying the down to earth nature that comes with Taurus is the way to go. The classy and luxurious vibe that Taurus naturally gives off should bleed into wherever Taurus is/rules in your chart. Approach things with caution, put in that earth sign slow work ethic, and work your way into wealth using the Venus ruled sign. This in your chart tells you where you may need to slow down, bring class into the mix, and be stubborn. In the house of writing, ALWAYS look at this house (empty or not) to see the vibe of the scripts you may get as an overall. This could also tell you how you need to write/deliver lines, and the uniqueness you can bring when it comes to speaking. You can track your mentality when it comes to acting when it comes to his house. Like for example I have Capricorn ruling it, with Aquarius Neptune as well, and I've always liked the idea of a long term web series, as it gives more freedom than traditional Hollywood projects. This to me can also explain how people react to you online, for example Drew Barrymore's 3rd starts off with 29° Libra, and from what I've seen, people LOVE her talk show, like the jokes of "I just NEED to talk with her" come to mind, and from what I noticed, it was pretty out of nowhere (like people didn't expect her to get a show), and the rest of the house is Scorpio with North Node in Sagittarius 1°, and people often talk about her carefree nature to talking about deep topics. Obviously it's not exactly acting, but still found it interesting as it is the social media house. 

✯Roles

The house of Gemini goes give MAJOR versatility (for example, Marilyn Monroe has Gemini ruling her third, and she did have versatility she wasn't granted that you can see bits and pieces of when watching her movies like Bus Stop (straight up rage) and Seven Year Itch (comedic timing)). Comedy could be one of your talents, along with generally being able to deliver lines in a way that caters to to role. Chatty siblings, witty side characters, or a smart lead is something that could fit you, just know it'll involve a LOT of talking. Work on being able to deliver long winded rants and monologues.

✯Sign: Gemini

You can tell I have a bias towards Gemini placements in the actor persona chart, as the "two faced" nature of Gemini is something that works well with acting. Like I said in the rest of this section, versatility is key for Gemini. Being able to think of something on the spot and fit to the situation is the best thing to use to your advantage. The personality you embody can be whatever you need it to be at the time. To be clear, this can show where in the chart you're more equipped to change and able to adapt when it comes to acting.

☆4th House☆

The house of the home, comfort and self security is under scrutiny when it comes to acting, as acting requires you to go out of your comfort zone. Now this could mean that you stay close to home, only working with family or doing local theater. Something I've noticed is that if you have a "positive" planet there (like Venus, Sun, etc), you may not want to act outside of your comfort zone. A lot of people I know who stuck to high school theater/had no desire to expand out had more planets in this house. This can also talk about how your family supports you, and how your inner security is impacted when it comes to acting.

✯Roles

Hereditary immediately came to mind LMAO but home roles may be something you consider/get. That doesn't mean you immediately get parental roles obviously, but it could mean that you do family environment roles. He's not the best example since he doesn't have this in his chart, but like Bryan Cranston going from Malcolm in the Middle to Breaking Bad, and being a father in both, or Toni Collette being again the mother in Hereditary but also the mother in United States of Tara, still family roles but dramatically different and more serious tones. You could also be known as a family name with placements here, like you could be on repeat in people's homes with this placement, like Disney or Miss Rachel kind of thing. Known in families. 

✯Sign: Cancer 

Emotionally driven roles are something you could like. With a personality that can offer comfort and emotional security, utilize those elements to get roles and give personality to them. Another thing I've noticed is that with cancer placements, people's parents could know about you (ik that sounds weird but you could be known more either intergenerationally or as an actor older people would like). This can show where you bring emotional comfort/stability in your acting. 

☆ 5th House☆

OH YEAH BABY THIS IS THEE HOUSE!!!! The house of Leo and acting and fame as a whole is an important house to look at. Don't worry if there's nothing in it, look for the sign that rules it. This can tell you how you work the stage, and the uniqueness and fire you bring to your roles. Like the 4th house, this can tell you about theater or just plain old acting in a general sense. Leo can tell you what kind of creativity you may have and bring to the table, the energy you bring to fame, and it could even tell how well you do with younger generations, as the house does rule over children. 

✯Roles

This can talk about the starring roles you could get, as it is Leo's house. The spotlight is put on you in this area, and the planets can let you know how to use it to your advantage. For example, Aaliyah has 23° Venus, and 29° Mercury in Libra, 18° Uranus and Vertex in Scorpio ALL in her fifth, and she utilized her well-known voice and beauty to get roles that put her in a spotlight, as although she only got a couple of roles before her death, they weren't your typical musical star roles, as she got an action movie, dark vampire and was almost in the Matrix, she used that Scorpio deepness and depth and sexiness, and that Uranus weirdness to her advantages to get roles that wouldn't confine her like it has other stars. Put the spotlight on the planets/sign in this house and it'll help you. This one is VERY straightforward. Shine a light on this house and it will shine back on you.

Leo can tell you where you may simply succeed as an actor. Like 5th, Leo is where the spotlight and creativity is in your chart. The personality to use may sound a little shitty, but put yourself where Leo is. If it's in 6th, do it daily and when it comes to co-workers, if it's 11th, make yourself shine in groups of people. Obviously, it won't be hard, but don't let your light get dimmed where Leo is. The personality to bring is first and warm, and use that Leo charm to show off the showmanship. Embrace the fiery nature and ego (responsibility) here.

Virgo's house of health, co-workers, pets and daily life can talk about the mundane side of acting. How often you work and how you take care of your health is the important thing to look at. It can show if you're a bit of a workaholic or a perfectionist, your emotional investment, how your health reacts. Depending on the planets, it could point to how often in your daily life you act or are theatrical. For example, Markiplier (don't bring it up I just got like a set list of people I use and an example ok) has North Node in Aquarius in his 6th, pointing to the fact he may like to act daily, or puts his acting talent into his work (like In Space with Markiplier and such), or would prefer to work as often as he could when it comes to acting, like he worked on his birthday this year for Iron Lung and ended up in the hospital as he got fake blood in his eyes. Not exactly an exciting house, but important. It could also talk about your co-stars/extras and how you interact with them. For example of you got let's say a water sign in this house, you may want to get to know them/befriend them.

John Krasinski has a HEAVY 6th house, which drum roll omg he was in The Office (I just thought I would check it and it made me giggle, he's got like 8 objects and planets in there). Office roles, roles about Mundane tasks, and general health may be roles you get. In my brain, I kinda think of this as the house of The Office and Grey's Anatomy. Realistic roles that talk and delve into daily life are roles that could work well for you. Not that you couldn't do bigger things, Black Mirror also reminds me of this house, as while it is fantastical, it is about daily life in a different universe. 

✯Sign: Virgo

Virgo's perfectionism and analytical nature fits well with acting, as the studious nature and attention to detail can attract people to your performances. As an earth sign, you may not be the most outwardly shiny, and prefer a calm nature, the accuracy you bring to roles is something to use to your advantage. Biopics could be something you're good at, something I thought of was like Christian Bale coping Tom Cruise for his role as Patrick Bateman kinda deal, you notice the little things that's needed to get into a role. This in the chart can point to where you excel at paying attention to details and where you aim for perfection. 

☆7th House☆

We're talkin' contracts, we're talkin' relationships, we're talkin' marriage that's right baby this is the house of one on one. This talks about the kinds of contracts you may get (or if you should sign to them,) and how they benefit you. This is an important house as contracts are typically needed when it comes to acting on sets. This can also discuss the kind of on screen romances you may get into, or just even pairings on screen. This can tell you how your fans could react to your romances (or even ship you with others), and how you react to your own romances (like do you hide it? Work with your partner?). It can also talk about the people that openly dislike you and how easily you attract envy from others. 

✯Roles

To me this is the rom-com house, like to me it's that balance of romance and humor that just appeals to Libra to me. Balance is the word for this house. Give and take between a pairing can be something you shine in. It makes me think of like Bill & Ted or Harold & Kumar or Kristen Wiig & Maya Rudolph, you shine on your own but the partnerships you act in make you shine brighter. That, or you could just be the ideal person to star as the romantic lead. That, or you could be good in roles that are designed to be the mediator. Lawyers, therapists, or just a role that puts you in the middle of conflict you need to calm down.

✯Sign: Libra 

Calm, zen, and pretty vibes are what you bring. Like Taurus, opulence is something that you could bring to a role. Even in the most I guess "un-insert synonym for glamorous here" role", you bring a quality of polish to roles that comes naturally. Where Libra is in your chart is where you can appeal the most to people, or where you could even have the most consistent need to appeal to people, therefore making it easier for you to work with roles. Libra's air sign nature makes them adaptable, but to work with people. Libra's may be the perfect person to work well with directors, and be able to take notes well and fit into what they need. In your chart, this points to where you may fit other needs, along with bringing a natural polish and balance to your craft-but remember to put yourself first.

Hahaha this is the s*x house, but also death and depth that's needed as an actor. This could tell you about the darker side of being an actor. This can point to how you feel about any sort of intimacy on set, or how you deal with s*xual topics and even if you want to period. Do you talk about death in your roles? Are things that are hidden things you want to bring to light with acting? These questions are answered with this house. This can also point to how people treat those topics with you. It can show how people may view your attractiveness or how much they want to know your secrets. This house can also talk about the depth you long for when it comes to acting. 

✯Roles

While the first thing I do was to cover is how you may be viewed as a s*x symbol, it does cover other roles, don't worry. Simply it can point to if you may get roles where you're s*xualized or viewed as anything like the other woman/man, or simply just the hot one of that makes sense. Marilyn had her moon in Scorpio in this house, and while she did want emotional depth in roles, others rather wanted to view her as something sexual and sad as shit (I'm looking DIRECTLY at the movie Blonde right in its fuckin eyes I hate at movie). This can also talk about all the darker topics you act in, so topics of dr*gs, death and even simply keeping a secret are roles you excel in. Anything others may not want to do, you would. You require emotional investment in your roles, or nothing. Depending on the sign, it could point to either faking emotional depth, or needing it so much you refuse shallow roles regardless of how good it is. 

✯Sign: Scorpio 

Scorpio as an actor scares me. Not in a spooky way, just in a way where I think they'd be method actors. I've said it before and I'll say it again, Scorpios like to get their hands dirty. The personality you bring obviously could be mysterious, sexy, and charming, but something I see more is dirty-but not in the gross way, but like I said in the houses section, you need to get your hands dirty and take roles others normally wouldn't-skill or reputation be damned if that makes sense, like playing a serial killer, or like Stanley Tucci in The Lovely Bones. You take roles others may not have the heart to. This is the house where you bring depth to the table, and where (or what) you're willing to dig your hands into to become the perfect person for the role.

☆ 9th House☆

The house of expansions, overseas/travel, philosophy and higher education leaves a lot to work with for this house. While this house could just be "oh travel different locations" I do notice that this placement might like press tours, or traveling to promote movies/shows in different countries. This could also tell what you may wish to expand and understand more in your acting. This house normally reminds me of people who like to learn and grow as people, so for acting and writing, you may never be satisfied with your performance, and therefore would like to get better, all with a feel good attitude. This house would do well with going to schools for the arts and expressing your inner thoughts and philosophy through your career. I feel like they may be heard better if that makes sense? Or your views on life could gain you respect. OR (I'm sorry I keep saying or just bear with me) it could even show how you go about learning new roles/methods of acting. 9th can also tell you about types of shows you could get cast in (or write, as it rules over publishing therefore screenwriting is in the mix.

✯Roles

Right off the bat, roles for this placement do kinda scream travel TV, like food or just traveling to explore foreign places and give your insight on them. And if you're not interested in the Travel Channel kinda vibe, roles that could work for you are ones that expand your life view. You may not like repeating roles, and sticking with the same thing for too long as you need to grow constantly with your roles. Roles like teachers, lawyers and religious figures may be things you like to play. Exploration of yourself and the way things are could be roles that fit for you. And if that sounds too heavy, don't worry. You don't need to dive into something serious right off the bat. It could be an exploration of simple things. Idk why but I just get Aang from ATLA even thought that's an animated series, it still works.

Carefree attitude is the first thing that comes to mind, second is comedy. Acting as a Sagittarius embodies the Jupitertrian nature of almost overdoing things, but mannerisms? Like out of all of the actors I imagine using your hands and body language to act more than your voice. Like I said before, comedic timing could be your forte, like a lot of Sagittarius actors who do serious acting but are often overlooked when it comes to comedic talents. This in your chart can also tell you where you have the most expansion as an actor, and could have the most range/potential for range, but overall, where you may also need to have a more carefree attitude when it comes to the craft.

☆10th House/MC☆

The general house of success and awards can tell you just that. It can tell you the type of awards you may get/why, or how you go about accepting them. Like in terms of speeches and such (like if you got moon there or something they could be more emotionally driven you know the deal). This can also tell you the type of dedication you have to acting and the craft itself. Whatever rules/or is in this house could talk about how people also view your success, like I said before let's say you get an award, it could be how the public acts when it gets it, good or bad. Idk if I explained it correctly LMAO but it's kinda like the dedication you put in > how people see you (audience and critics) > how you get awards/public response to you winning them. Does that make sense? No? That's okay. This can also be a house that goes into casting, as it deals more with your public perspective. 

✯Roles

Literally Succession LMAO. But roles revolving around reestablished high status (like I'm not talking about rags to riches with this placement, I think more of already having some sort of standing and fighting to keep it), or hierarchy are roles that would work for you. Roles involving royalty/history, similar to something like The Crown or Reign, things that like. Like genuinely could go more into detail but Succession is the best straight up explanation I could give 💀. Rich people doing rich people things and fighting to keep those riches. Very straightforward. Another role I almost forgot to mention is A Star is Born. That working up into your success may be something people like to see, real or fake. Use it. 

✯Sign: Capricorn

Hard work and discipline is what Capricorn does best, and same with being straight forward. Look at where Capricorn is in your chart to know where you need to put hard work and put elbow grease into. Embody a natural (yet humble) boss energy, and bring it to the table. Don't let your standards drop wherever it rules, and because Saturn is Caps ruler, don't try to cut corners wherever it lands for you. Put in your all to get the benefits and rewards you deserve. 

☆11th House☆

Goals! Aspirations! Friends! Fans! Humanitarianism! Look at all of that shit oh boy, you can see why in natal this is the house you look for when it comes to getting attention. But in this case, it can talk about the goal(s) you have when it comes to acting. What message do you want to get across? It can tell you where/how to set your sights to achieve the goals you want. It can also tell you how you channel your giving nature when it comes to acting/writing. Having heavy placements here could point to wanting to get a message across with your acting (like don't do drugs, murder bad, you know the drill). This can also tell the kind of friends you make, or how you evolve them. You may have a preference for working with people you're already friends with/attempting to lift them up (which sorta pairs with humanitarianism if you squint). This can also tell you how your fans may perceive/treat you. That's more straightforward like if you got Neptune there boom they're delusional. You got Mars? This placement could point to friendlier roles, or if not friendly, the characters you play may be played by friends like I mentioned in the general section (working with the homies). Tech related roles may also appeal to you (like heavy CGI, playing the tech wiz friend), the syfy genre, or a futuristic setting are things you may like to play.

Uniqueness, individuality and a new perspective is what this sign brings when it comes to The Craft™. Nightmare Nightmore Highlights.

I'm not gonna recap or analyze the episode too much I just wanna share a few of my favorite things! Not really any spoilers, if you've already seen the leaks of Abbey and her mom floating around then you're all caught up.

Draculaura is throwing a party for the holiday of Nightmore, but I couldn't possibly care less. I'm here for Abbey!

Heath has the same reaction to seeing Abbey for the first time as a lot of us did. in Awe of her beauty. same dude, same.

She towers over everyone! even the boys! I am in love!

Draculaura is like a smurf compared to tall powerful Abbey.

Abbey's eyes aren't purple anymore, they are brown! and so pretty! breaks up the abundance of purple in her hair and outfit I am super into it!

Abbey's hair blend is the colors of the Bi flag and I have no choice but to stan.

Mama Bominable threatening to bring forth a cold harsh merciless winter upon Bloodgoods head if she doesn't produce Abbey is such a mood. I love me a good mama bear.

WHERE IS NIGHTMARE!? why is this messenger dragon hanging out in Bloodgood's office but her horse isn't!? The episode even has nightmare in the title but I see no Nightmare the horse. I don't like it. A headless horse person without their horse is just a zombie... why are you booing me? I'm right!

Draculaura already has her license in this gen? I'm here for it! Also Clawd chose to sit next to her. Also Clawd said "nailed it like a coffin" which was only ever said in G1 by Clawdeen and that makes me happy.

This is the second or third episode where Lagoona inexplicably has flat teeth, the music video for her doll did this too. I'm not exactly a professional animator but I've studied it enough to know that rendering characters off model is a fire-able offense. Fix it Nickelodeon.

Heath encouraging Abbey to use her ice powers telling her she is strong, charismatic and beautiful. ahhhh! my heart!... I've mentioned on here I'm not much of a shipper per-se. But that was a lie, Habbey was one of my OG ships and it brings me such joy to see them again! I needed this since the only Heath we got during G2 was this:

Yeti's in this universe seem to basically be water benders and I am okay with that! Mama Bominable is fuckin pissed! LOL Bye Bloodgood it's been nice knowing you!

Damn, Abbey's dad didn't contribute any genetics to that her at all. Mama Bominables genes were like "this is MY child!" I do love that she has horns and a more pronounced underbite, perhaps Abbey will get these traits as she grows? Or maybe her buns are hiding her horns? IDK but it's fun to imagine! I wonder where they got the idea to give their yeti Horns... HMMMMMMM

it's a mystery, we'll never know.

This isn't even a highlight I'm just taking pictures of Mama Bominabe at this point, I love a strong woman willing to murder the school principle for her daughters safety.

SHE CALLED ABBEY SNOW ANGEL AHHHHHH- I'm sorry I just had to get that out.

The boy is in love! .... And he actually says something really profound. I'm so impressed G3 is giving Heath some depth and not just making him a one note idiot... Don't get me wrong, I liked one note idiot Heath but there was more to him than that.

Heath trying to kiss Abbey on the first day of meeting her is absolutely a G1 call back.

in her intro episode he kissed her hand and his lips froze off.

I love everything about this episode! I love that Abbey is Nepali! it's way more accurate to her Monster type and before some nerd tries to get in the replies and go "Actually Russia occupied Nepal at one point" that's true, they did BUT! the myth of the Yeti originated in 1937, Russia didn't occupy the Himalayas until the 1960's.

This episode is my new favorite! I heard a rumor that we won't get any new Monster High episodes until after the new year, but if they are anything like this? they will be worth the wait!

summary - Judd was so caring yet drastically different from you. It wasn't like he didn't have life plans but it didn't align with yours, or outsiders would say. You put it off, did your best to ignore it. Though some nights you couldn't avoid it, so you reasoned that as long as you were together... in any form, way or sense of the word then you were happy. One thing, you forgot to factor in how he'd feel, the weight of what he meant and how he'd handle that. It'd be fine right? It had to be.

Driving back home something constantly nagged at you, Judd, or mainly your relationship with him. You've been together for a couple years, he's seen you through highschool and the first two years of college. He always kept you away from trouble but whenever things were safe he'd tell you all about his misdemeanors. He really wasn't a menace, but he was no saint either. Your boy wasn't the type to follow societal expectations and would rather bend those rules as much as possible instead of bending himself. He never understood why you did it, but understood that it just worked for you. So he cheered you on when you went off to college and he stayed back doing vocational school. By the time you were on your second year he already had a job. You were so proud and happy for him, but after a dinner date as celebration you thought about how your lives would ever intertwine.

You worked so hard making sure he always had a place somewhere in your life that at this point you couldn't loose him, and now you were wondering why that is. As you check your phone in your parents driveway, you check your phone.

It took most of junior year of high school to freshman year of college to get this proud bastard to say please and thank you but he did, even if it was just for you. Despite your smile, that nagging thought came back. 'Why do I need him so bad.' It felt like you knew the answer but it felt so wrong to admit it.

you: 'yes sir 🫡'

You tossed the phone into the passenger seat with your purse and put your hands in your face. You love Judd, you really do. There's so much more to him than just some form of rebellion or new and exciting thing, but you couldn't deny it anymore. 'He's the break in the chain.' Then you hop out and get everything settled before seeing your boyfriend again.

Something was up with her. As I held her close, chin resting on top of her head and I rubbed her back she just held me tighter. I figured it had to be school. I've seen her stress out before, just for her to pull it all together and make it. She'd make a B look like the end of the world when school started, and by the middle to end she was exhausted. I liked seeing her stop caring sometimes. Not because I'd want her to fail but she was way too hard on herself, so if she ever did seriously fall behind on something I'd help pick her back up. This was different though.

Judd never understood why you were with him. His self esteem wasn't complete shit but he had heard enough romcom bullshit plots from Leah that you two matched the good girl and bad boy trope. When he thought about it, she wasn't wrong. He knew that if he went to college then it'd be specifically to try and burn a hole in his parents pockets. They'd cheer him on, mainly Elliot, for whatever the hell he did so it didn't matter to him. Though, college was a very big thing for you. He remembered you lowering expectations and tossing out your own dreams to please your parents. You were so pissed that they wouldn't let you just run off to California, and you settled for defying them by picking a major you wanted. Two years in, you were doing what you loved but at what cost? Just to leave that university with a piece of paper that said you stuck out four years of stress?

He looks down at you while you tried to cuddle even closer to him and he smiled. 'It's like she wants us to melt into each other,' and that thought alone spurred on questions of why. Not like it wasn't nice or anything like that. Though the only time you did this was when there was a lot on your mind, usually doubts. "What's wrong." He didn't pull away, or force you to look at him, his voice was steady and even, as he looks at you, the person he cares so much for. Seeing a head shake he could feel it in his gut that it was something about their relationship, about him.

Whenever you got quiet it was enough to make him worry, to question how long you two would last. He knew that you loved him but in moments like this it made him wonder if you still did. As the break went on he saw you less, and if you ever picked up the phone it was like your voice was hiding something.

"Are you thinking about breaking up with me."

That was the sentence to end everything between you two. You tried to tell him no but it only lead to him asking why. He had already heard enough from his family and friends about how he's not good enough. That you two paired together didn't make any sense but somehow it worked. He just wanted to hear it from you.

It's been years since that break up, but ever since that day you haven't felt a thing. You haven't felt anything at it's peak positive because now everything was the same. Even seeing him again at a bar didn't feel the same. You were both cordial with each other, he still bought you drinks, laughed with you, but it was all bitter sweet now.

Who are your top 5 (or top 3) favorite characters from Berserk? And why you loved them? And your top 5 favorite moments from the series? Thanks.....

I think I kinda only have 4 main faves, really? And that's probably a pretty obvious bunch (Guts, Casca, Griffith, and Puck). I got attached to them all in the first arcs and then stuck out the rest of the stuff mainly just for them without getting extremely attached to anybody else (though I do think the rest of the story is definitely worth reading, and there are many amazing things that come later on as well).

(Warning for spoilers below):

I love Guts because I just cared about him and what happens to him way more than I initially expected I would. I think he's very relatable to me personality-wise and just not your typical macho protagonist guy in some pretty interesting and unusual ways. I also like that he's both kind of simple and complicated all at once and not just a corny noble typical hero type guy, but not completely boring and edgy and nihilistic either. It's a fun blend. I felt a ton for Casca as well and just thought she was very sympathetic and tough yet vulnerable too. I think Griffith's idealism and ambition makes much of the intriguing drama and plot happen that I actually care about in the story, and that he's definitely a complex character that's maybe the most fun one to analyze in a fandom sense. And Puck is just that cute little voice of reason / comic relief sort of character who keeps you going when Guts is being particularly grim and surly and difficult to connect to and when the story is verging on way too dark and bleak, and since he's with you from the very start it's hard not to get attached!

Some Top Favourite Moments (I couldn't narrow it down to five):

-Guts's interactions with Theresia, the Count's daughter / that entire scene in the Black Swordsman Arc: Maybe a bit of an oddball choice, but I distinctly remember that this part of the story was surprising and interesting to me in a good way because it just showed some sides of Guts's character that I didn't expect, and made him seem a bit more unusual and interesting of a character to follow in my eyes. I felt like his weirdass/awkward dark advice to her to just kill herself if she really didn't want to live anymore was obviously because he himself had gone through something like that as a kid and then come to that conclusion based on his own survival instincts as well, and just spoke a lot about how strange and rough his own life and upbringing and worldview probably was, to see that as sincerely good advice to give to a kid at that time? It was different than what you'd expect a typical hero to say or do, and the fact that Puck comments on it like "dang, he's not even trying to be an asshole or mean, he legit thinks that's a good thing to say to her" made me laugh as well, because that was the impression I got from it too. It was also surprising to see him like tearing up afterwards? Idk it just marked a moment to me where my interest in the story and in Guts as a character deepened and changed a bit, so I like it for that!

- Guts and Griffith's first swordfight:

So good and iconic and also perhaps one of the most homoerotic things ever to be put on a page

-Guts holding his sword up to the moon and deciding he was gonna fight for Griffith's sake

- Guts and Casca's first kiss: I kinda get the feeling from most Griffguts fans that it's not super popular to have and share positive or warm feelings about this pair, but I thought the moments between them like their first kiss were actually so cute. I thought it made sense for them and their relationship at the time, and was nice to see them both having a soft and warm and consensual moment with someone else that they trusted that way

- Guts explaining how Griffith is the only person he can't stand looking down on him to the rest of Band of the Hawk:

Another moment where Guts pleasantly surprised me as a character, this time with how self-aware and forthcoming he was about his thoughts and feelings on this front. He's a pretty close-lipped character about such things and also pretty private and secretive most times, so whenever he does share those kinds of feelings I'm just like !!! and very invested in what he has to say. I also didn't expect the story to take this direction so explicitly, and thought that his prioritizing of his relationship with Griffith over everything else would remain background and buried in his subconscious at best, so I was pretty intrigued that this part actually happened at all

- Guts and Griffith's second sword fight in the snow:

So many interesting things going on between the main three characters here, and I feel like this was one of the most suspenseful parts of the story to me, I was having actual like heart racing physical reactions to it. I also love how it teases the audience a bit with certain clever fake-outs and whatnot, like making you think this is probably going to be how Guts will lose his arm...

-Griffith's visions of his childhood self / guilt about his dream:

Anytime we got a glimpse right inside Griffith's head was a fascinating treat for me, and I think the scene of him being guilted by the God Hand over his childhood dream was a fantastic bit of writing and artwork, and so important to the story as a whole.

-The Eclipse (up until that one scene):

You love to hate it and hate to love it, basically? It's an awful and traumatic time, but also just so effective at doing what it's supposed to do and such a great buildup of dread for this extremely climactic scene, and the horror of it all is super well done to me (though once it gets to the Casca and Femto part it lost me a bit, because I did not like how tastelessly that was depicted at all)

-Griffith's frozen heart starting to beat again:

There's no way that's just because he's fused with the Moonlight Boy or whatever, right? Love the idea that there's still a kernel of his old vulnerable self in there that he couldn't completely kill

-Casca's healing: this was such a LONG TIME COMING and I was so glad it actually happened and that Miura got to depicting that part of the story before he passed, I felt like it actually took 1000 years, and it was one of the major things keeping me reading due to wanting to see it resolved

Idk if this sounds stupid, i hope not, but even if jungkook is clearly the member with the “straightest” and most het concept and all, he still is the one who shows as less straight and het off-stage. I mean, not just in his interactions with jimin, which are pretty fruity by themselves. Also in his way of talking about interactions with females, the way he approaches women, or also the way he talks about “girlfriends”. Namjoon, for example, said “i have none RIGHT NOW, can you introduce me one?” And all that playful stuff, but Jungkook didn’t. He keeps sticking to that safe “armys my girl” and that’s it, always. I don’t understand why he said “i only focus on work now, i don’t need a girlfriend”, i mean, he could have not added those lies, but to me that was just smoke. Just adding details to keep it real. Please, tell me if that’s me being delusional.

I know it depends on the personality, so maybe namjoon likes to talk that way while Jk doesn’t, but to me Jungkook still looks non-straight, like, at all. And that’s funny because you’d say the contrary from his solo, songs etc, but every thing he does, little or not, apart from the work he’s told to do, looks far from straight. Funny how the image they tried to create didn’t work that much.

I agree anon. Idk why people analyze these concepts and mvs ad nauseum when there is so much queerness in JK’s actual personality and the way that he carries himself. But I think that’s why the most asks that I get pertain to people desperate for any crumb that he’s “straight” and act like they have the holy grail to prove it to who? Me? Don’t waste your time. Or do they come to my ask box hoping to convince themselves. Probably more likely.

For me personally, Jungkook is queer as hell. Imo, I think he’s gay. His lack of interest in women and chemistry when he’s around them has been a trend since debut. And no, I’m not talking about his “shyness”. Jungkook was shy in general so to act like he was only shy when he was around girls or women is 🙄. Fun fact, in high school I had a crush on a gay boy who was in the closet at the time (he was nice to me okay!) His “crush” was Rachel Ray (the tv cooking talk show host) she’s what no straight boy at 16 would jump to say is their crush. I’m sure that he liked her because he liked her show, not because he found her attractive. Reminds me of a certain bunny saying that “IU” is his ideal type. And interesting too that he chose to name a an actual person, a woman who is older than him btw. When JK did list attributes he found attractive for a partner, none of them screamed “straight” to me. He talked about nice muscles what 🤣 not that women can’t have muscles but the Korean beauty standard for women is for them to be very petite. In conclusion, Jungkook hasn’t been reading as hetereo since we’ve met him. And I’ll die on that hill.

I've been gone for a while and came back to realize I hadn't finished The Glory your enha series. I was up until 4 am reading it. I want to say that you are a fucking great writer. Idk if I mentioned it before, but the fact that you didn't (idk if you do now) stan enhypen but took the time to research and analyze their content to gwt an idea of the type of yandere/bully they'd be is just..omg the best. I'm sad it's over, but loved things that most people mentioned, Luke her sticking to getting her revenge, not letting the horrible things that happened to her make her lose her compassion and ultimately gave Jake another chance, the dynamic of certain bullies in the group, her closeness with Soobin. Jake was starting to change because the fact that he went to the house to try to help her despite Jungwon almost killing him says a lot, the way Jungwon seemed like a good guy because he protected her from heejake's advances. You had us all on edge waiting, wondering and questioning. I loved that Yeonjun was underestimated, but I was wondering what he was up to, and it turned out that he was working to take them down. I had to remember that they were just spoiled, maybe bored high-school kids seeking attention and possibly more. The fact that their parents were rich and powerful could make one think they were untouchable but not the case. I'm glad they were punished in the way that would be realistic and that she had her happy ending.

I'm reading the novel version of "I Raised My Fiancé with Money" and the bad thing is....

I sympathize a lot with Stella. And she isn't even that horribly awful. Annoying, spoiled, and without remorse, yes, but not irredeemable evil or even a villain. If it was just that, it would be whatever, but the fact that the narrative (more specifically, the protagonist's narration) always talks about her as some great villain just makes me go ???? And takes out my immersion

Tbh it's clear as day that its Lilia's biases and if it only was that would be whatever and just another nice thing to analyze BUT it's clear as daytime that the author is trying to justify it. Correct if I'm wrong, but my experience in reading OI speaks that this is the type of story to degrade other female leads to raise the MC in a narrativic standpoint.

And like. Stella is such a villainess material??? I mean, if you read her story you woud expect her to be the og villainess who has her body snatched or the protagonist who regress after failling into ruin.

Not only that, i think the author is missing the pontetial to write her as a well written antagonist by (seemingly) going down to the cliched route of "hysterical and stupid woman who is sooooo jealousy of the protagonist and fight for men"

Thing is, if the villanization of her character was focoused on her stalking the ML or anything else that is actually harmful i wouldn't mind at all, but im on ch 64 and it's jarring seeing the protagonist (who i generally like btw) acting as she is being super badass for scamming Stella and with a tone of superiority when its completely unnecessary??? Like gurl you didn't even needed to go to that party. The only reason you went there was bc you wanted to see Stella making a fool of herself for buying flowers from you. And like. I understand that someone trying to copy you is annoying and all but does that really calls for scamming???

If she did that to call out on her stalking/actual shitty behavior i would be pretty on board but idk feeling jealousy and coping somebody isn't that big of a crime, its annoying but bearable and ignorable.

Maybe im wrong and the novel will take a complete different path but like, instead of this wouldn't it be way more interesting if Stella was actually a well devolved character who instead of being constantly villanizate by the narrative, was portrayed as a victim of her environment and society which then made her do some shitty stuff but also fuck she's still young and has inferiority complex and body image issues

^like!!! How do you expect me to not like her???? Maybe this part eas just portrayed differently in the novel, but after reading a sympathetic portray of the antagonist, i dont understand why the narration is harsh towards her when it comes to her inferiority complex towards Lilia. Although it's not thrown at our faces compared to other novels, it still pretty much there

^ and why dont the author or the protagonist focous more on the fact that she was stalking/harassing the ML just for his position and felt no remorse? That's pretty fucking awful and more important than focousing on how pathetic and stupid she is for trying to cope the protagonist

And ik this is biased asf but a lot of my sympathy comes from the fact that this novel is almost the perfect "standard og novel" story. The only big change is that the ML is a sweetie

As i said, Stella looks a lot like those og villainess and the fact that our mc "stole" her Fiancé. Stelle was just harassing the ML but also the fact that she *was* getting engaged to him and it was pretty much official and everyone knew abt it, im not lying when i saying i pity the fact that she will get scorned by everyone. Not that i think the ML should've get engaged with her, actually i cheered when the engagement was broken off since Nobody should marry a stalker due to their abusive mother, that much is obvious. But it still oddly fun/interesting that if she take out that context, Stella could easily become an unfortunate villainess from random OI number 19282928

And its pretty hard to believe that the author isnt aware of that when its the biggest trope of the genre. SO AGAIN!!!! Why make her seem pathetic for having an inferiority complex/body image issues when you have this big gold chance of writing a paralleled character to the protagonist, who is a well rounded and sympathetic antagonist and the perfect character to play with the change of perspective/meta elements that is a big staple of the genre you're writing in?????

Hi! I have just see Jk tracklist and I wanted to share my op -

First: I don't understand why, only because I like Jk as an artist and person, I have to accept blindly every single thing he does. I have my ideas and morals and I apply them consistently. I like seven, I don't like 3D. I am not a prude, simply I find that 3D it's explicit in a dirty way. For example.

So:

• I don't have problems with not writing your lyrics but I'm a little disappointed that in his first album there isn't even 1 or 2 Jk credits. Yes he surely approved and choose carefully but it's not the same thing to really write them, we can't read the lyrics and be like "that's what he think" because we can't be sure that he specifically approved that phrase that we are "analyzing". Meybe that was the only phrase that he doesn't like lol.

• I know he is working hard and I respect him for that, I'm just sorry he is working at something that is not what in my op a lot of fan were expecting (not that I wanted something specific, just listen to the songs and think "oh this is something he think for real)

• I think that all those songs will be more the 'no deep meaning' songs, again, nothing wrong with it. But when you are the frontman of a band famous for the deep meaning of their songs people have expectations. So for me the problem is that I and other fans wish to have from bts members the meanings, the ideas, the relatable lyrics, the personal style not songs given by random people. So I personally understand who is disappointed and find it valid.

Still I respect his work.

• note: tae doesn't wrote his lyrics too, but in his case Idk if he received the songs or if the songs were made for him, that is a little big difference.

Like I said earlier, you're allowed to want different music from him, of course you are. You're totally free in deciding what music of jungkook's you want to listen to and if you prefer seven over 3d, I'm not going to judge you or think you're a prude. It's about preference at the end of the day and I'm not at all advocating people to blindly support the artist you stans music even if you don't like it. Because it's all about preference at the end of the day, and if the disappointment posts I saw were simply just commenting on "Oh this type of music isnt my preference " then I wouldn't mind it.

The problem gets when people are making so many assumptions on the type of artist jungkook is, and judging his decisions in bad faith that are bothering me. It's the constant, "he's korean so I don't know why he feels like he needs to sing in English " that's bothering me.

For your first point, I get it. There's not a lot of theorizing you can do on the lyrics when he's not written them himself. It's actually what stumped me a little with layover because when I had read the four leaf clover lyric in Rainy Days , I got excited thinking it was a reference to Vmin and their four leaf clover story before realising that tae didn't have any writing credits. But then as I thought about it more, there's no way to know whether tae discussed what he wanted to convey what wanted each song to be about and he might have even relayed the four leaf clover story to the writer. Or maybe it's a complete coincidence ! So yes, on that front I get that it takes away from a fun part of fan culture because you don't exactly know what they're singing from real experience and what is just a fantasy. It's always nice to learn new nuggets about your favorite artists and the way they think, buts it not that definitive to me personally, but it may be to you so I get that.

Second point, I mean sure you can be disappointed your expectations of his album don't match up with his own vision, but there really is not much we can do beyond that is it? At the end of the day, he will release the music which he feels is right for him and as long as it's not something terribly offensive or something, we can't really hold it against them for having a different creative vision to what fans had for them. Of course you're allowed to feel disappointed, but people acting like he's done some personal offense against him through his creative decisions is what bothers me.

I honestly think it's not fair to already dismiss all the tracks to have no meaning before they're even out . We literally have zero clue as to what the songs are going to sound like. As to the deep lyrics thing, honestly I think people hold bts to too high a pedestal with how deep their music is. They've talked about silly crushes, wanting to get a girls attention, sex and a lot of other topics which army's now claim they're 'above'. It didn’t sound like that because they were singing in korean and had credits from a member. If it's solely about deep lyrics, then while bts have some incredibly deep and moving lyrics but They've also had incredibly silly ones. If it's about the cool wordplay they do in korean which you're not getting in english releases, then I would say let's wait and see what golden has. English has a lot of avenues for equally fun wordplay/metaphors and we simply don't know enough about golden to have an opinion on this.

So in conclusion, you're allowed to have expectations from their music but I simply don't think it's fair to suddenly turn on jungkook, his artistry and his performances because his work doesn't match what you had in mind.

ocean: sga and gov (idk what the equivalent of ap is in canada but. whatever the ap gov equivalent is. that’s hers. bc you KNOW she was taking all advanced classes just to make a point) but fr. ocean was student gov president and wanted to be the first democratically elected female prime minister of canada (i think that’s all of it) so ofc this would be her thing :) pretty self explanatory for her..

noel: if they had a lit mag, noel was DEFINITELY part of it. idk if he would’ve been an editor or just a main contributor (or both) but he was definitely part of it in some big way for sure. i feel like he’d put in some stuff anonymously (but you could still pretty much always tell it was him) as well as some with his name on it, depending on what it was abt also. ANYWAY.. the being said he’s also ofc an advanced english type. i mean Ofc he is. and i can’t forget how he’s most definitely and obviously a french student bc Duh. (which is rlly fun to imagine bc I am a french student and there are legit 3 people in my class. it’s rlly funny to picture noel in our environment)

jane: actually forget what i said abt ricky and mischa being hard to think abt. she takes the cake. it’s hard bc i know Nothing abt penny lamb. (i want to though… how do i read legoland??) so all i have to go off of is her mannerisms and her speech patterns really. i think like noel she is also an english person.. a lot of how she talks seems like something i’d see in ap lang or lit,, (allusions and metaphors mainly) and just. a lot of what she says can be analyzed to oblivion like that. -also,, here’s a great chance to talk abt my thoughts on her role in the choir!! i think penny *was* technically in the choir. she just didn’t really know how to befriend the rest of them (i think ricky noticed her the most but obviously couldn’t really communicate that to her) so she mostly just hung back. as for why no one remembers her (like the rest of them didn’t even realize there was even a 6th person at first. she doesn’t even remember herself. karnak doesn’t remember reading her fortune even though he actually did) i think that when she was designated a Jane Doe,, penny was actually gone from everyone’s memories until the moment she is chosen to be brought back to life. i think that’s really it. :)

constance: tbh no clue. part of me thinks that she doesn’t really have a favorite class. i think shes even more apathetic towards school than mischa is. like obviously she hides it but.. Still. she just. kinda hates it all yknow. bc it was before the cyclone and before she had her revelation and began to enjoy her life like 30 seconds before it ended.. so she probably just kinda liked the simple stuff like electives.. she probably had a couple art classes she liked (and also choir)

🦷 share some personal wisdom or a life hack you swear on- Uuuuummmmmmm…. Good question. I feel like all the life hacks do not work for me lol. Uh, ok so something I’ve noticed is that creative variety is very important. If you’re forcing yourself to work on one project constantly without allowing yourself to do other things for fun, you’ll get burnt out and possibly hate drawing/writing/ etc. everyone’s very different of course but it’s ok to be thinking about other things. That’s why comments like “why aren’t you working on this project” or “you have time to do this and not work on that?” Are stupid because a creator is not a machine and a creator will be horribly burnt out if they don’t allow themselves to explore different things. So it’s ok to have several projects. You may not finish them but at least they were there for you when you needed it.

🏜️ what’s your favorite type of comment to receive on your work? I love all comments but the ones where they analyze my work and characters and point out foreshadowing an parallels? Agh it’s the best I love the super long comments they make me so happy fr. Especially when they point out stuff that I want them to see? Heck yeah

Are you named after anyone? No, but fun fact my sister named me when she was 9 and to this day she doesn't know why she picked my names... and it's a pretty bomb set of names if I do say so myself.

When was the last time you cried? 2 days ago, it was Pride in my city and one of my closest male friends gave me a gift out of nowhere that it was really considerate and sweet

Do you have kids? No... I do like them a lot and I enjoy spending time with them but I don't want to have any kids of my own.

What sports do you play/have played? I'm a very active person and I've done A LOT of sports: swimming, basketball, football softball, volleyball, tennis, extreme sports, cheerleading but my absolute favorite that I try to do to this day is dancing, weightlifting, ninjutsu (not a sport though... a martial art) and yoga (every day). The funny thing is that I fucking HATE cardio... like the regular, running, or biking type of cardio? god I rather die. The sad thing is that sports are sports and they're not necessarily good for your body so now I have a shit ton of damage in my body and I know as a fact that down the road I'll need multiple surgeries. THE REAL QUESTION THOUGH... am I good at any of it? 🤷🏻‍♀️who's to say?

Personal post/ dumb post

One of the convos online that I think have messed me up probably the most, is convos where people discuss feminine presentation vs masculine, or "gender" presentation in general. I think it's really hard to look at people constantly hyper analyzing how other people view them and not go crazy. I think this is also true in feminist convos. Like, I don't think I've experienced much judgment from people. However, I think people maybe go a little far in talking Abt how they KNOW how straight people view certain styles. Or how people are viewing their gender. Or how people are viewing their style in general. Like, the queering of style in general? Acting like you know a certain style is only worn by queer people. Like I like to be both masculine and feminine at the same time but I don't think Abt it in the grand scheme of things and when I do I go crazy. I just wear what I like. If I analyze how straight men feel Abt it. Or how random people feel Abt it. It just hurts. Bec I just like stuff that feels like me. I'm literally not trying to impress men. I'm also not thinking Abt people in public formulating opinions Abt me. I hate thinking Abt all the conversations overanalyzing feminine behaviors. I literally don't wear makeup except for sometimes gold eyeliner Bec I really love how it looks. And, I hate both A. The weird discourse around makeup. And B. Feeling like I'd be judged by these people for even the little makeup I do wear. OR they'd go off abt how weird makeup is actually revolutionary Bec men don't like it? And only femme queer people wear it? Idk, like it just hurts. I just literally don't want to give a shit what anyone thinks Abt my presentation. Or what they assume Abt my relationship or gender. The assumptions are all so stupid. And you 99% of the time can't actually assume what people think. Sometimes people aren't thinking what you think they're thinking. There's a type of queer person who acts like straight people are literally terrified of them Bec "they can't tell my gender it's too whacky". When in all reality sometimes people are just confused? Not scared. And I don't know why you act like this gives you insane power. When it kinda just sounds exhausting to think Abt 24/7 and try to maintain it. + You come off kinda self obsessed Bec I don't think everyone cares abt your presentation as much as you think they do. I hate feeling self obsessed. I think that bec I have ocd I end up fixating on this type of stuff. Bec it's painful to think that A. I know what everyone is thinking based on their sexuality or whatever, but B. That it's very one dimensional always. Bec "straight people are boring/predictable ect" Sorry this post is just a vent post. I've been thinking Abt identity. And I just don't care what gender or sexuality people think I have anymore. Or what that "means" Abt me. I also don't gender anything. So when I wear fem/masc things I just think of them as comfy..not as a way to express my gender or my entire Identity to them. It shouldn't be that deep. Gender is just so boring. I just like things when they are fun and comfy. I'm not trying to present a nonbinary gender thesis when I wear what I want. I don't even think Abt my behaviors being masculine or feminine until people point them out. And the pointing out of these things is exhausting. I get why these convos happen they just go so far. And become so alien and unrelatable.

I wanted to make an analysis on how I realized something after making a joke tweet on how calling El 11 was like calling her a slur or something since she isn't something to be numbered and is her own person. I realized that in I think every scene especially during their fight scenes Mike always calls El "Eleven," and I found this odd. You'd imagine that her boyfriend, someone who she is supposed to be comfortable around, wouldn't call her a name that may remind her of her past.

I mean everyone else calls her El or Jane, so why?

Well, I had an idea that maybe it has something to do with Mike's attachment issues and his people pleasing.

Now hear me out.

I believe it's shown many times in the show that we can safely assume that Mika has a fear of being "nonuseful" to the others around him. Many people have different opinions but I feel as though that Mike is the type of person to believe that if someone doesn't find him useful once they know him they never will. This is why I think he's so afraid that El won't need him anymore, platonically or not. He's afraid she doesn't need him after believing she did after so many years.

This is why I think he calls her Eleven.

Maybe it's to bring them back to how it was before when she was just a girl who escaped a lab. To be able to send them back to when El wasn't her own person just yet, just so Mike can believe that she does need him.

I know Mike doesn't always call her Eleven but I think he calls her it much more than the others, and not really in the "oh a special name for you" kind of way.

*Nerdy rant incoming*

So I’m a huge typology nerd and one of my favorite things to do while watching RWBY is analyzing characters through the lens of their personality types, especially since a lot of characters take a while to sort of find themselves, it’s just fun.

And Ruby and Yang’s disagreement in volume 8 is just so fitting for their types that I couldn’t stop thinking about it as I was watching.

Idk how much you may already know about this, but the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) is this typology system that gives everyone a 4 letter type based on preferences (extroversion and introversion, sensing and intuition, thinking and feeling, and judging and perceiving.) There are 16 types and each type has a different set of cognitive functions that impacts how they see the world and make decisions.

Ruby’s an ENFP, and her first 2 cognitive functions are extroverted intuition and introverted feeling. This basically means her brain naturally jumps to all of the different possibilities and ideas it can think of, realistic or not, and to make decisions about those possibilities, she relies on her own internal moral compass and sort of her gut feelings. This makes sense when you think about what she’s doing with Amity. Amity is a possibility, a dream, an idea that her internal moral compass feels strongly about. She feels more drawn to what she views as this new and wonderful idea than what is right in front of her, because she believes it’s the better option even though it isn’t real yet.

Yang, on the other hand, is an ESTP, and her first 2 cognitive functions are extroverted sensing and introverted thinking. Instead of thinking about possibilities and ideas, Yang is very much focused on what’s right in front of her, in the moment, right then. She makes decisions based on her own internal logic and thought processes, less so her gut feelings. This doesn’t mean she doesn’t have emotions and it doesn’t make her smarter than feelers, it’s just different. So Yang’s decision to help Mantle is right in line with her type. She sees people right there, in front of her, in the present, and to her the obvious logical thing to do is help them. She doesn’t understand why you would focus on a faraway idea instead of actual reality, and Ruby doesn’t understand why you would choose to focus on reality when there’s a better idea out there. Neither of them are necessarily wrong, they’re just different.
