You pouted as you watched Miguel walk towards Miles. Sitting leisurely on your makeshift web hammock, you watched how his firm muscle moves on his tracksuit and how it fits him perfectly. The tight leather wrapped his tempting body so beautifully and deliciously. His hips so small for a burly man, which you liked.

And please, don't get started with those sinful huge chests of his. It's so full, that you know if he cuddles you, he will swallow you whole. Not that you mind though.

For you, he is the perfect definition of tall, dark and handsome.

The only thing that was a turn off about him was his irate attitude. Yet, it's all right, you like your men with a bit of a challenge.

You know you should focus on whatever the reason why you were called by Lyla. Miguel never calls for you unless he is in a pinch. In fact, he called for everyone so it must have been an emergency. You kinda envy Lyla because she probably asked Miguel to say the word, "please" and teased him for it when he did admit he needed help. Maybe you should ask if she recorded it?

Well, the most important thing was, you're finally close to him again! It has been a while since you were allowed to be near him. When was it? Who cares really. He’s hotter now though. The temptation to climb him is back again. Well, the idea never left you in the first place.

All he replied was a disgusted, frustrated groan and marched away while dragging Pavitr. Probably to talk somewhere you can't look freely on his package.

Yet, your method of working is 100% effective and easier than how he does his stuffs.

He has no choice but to do it.

He walked towards you until he was standing in front, less inches than he usually allows you to. He coughed to get your attention one last time, but you were way preoccupied and busy with whatever was inside your head.

He breathed in and with full strength held your shoulders and shook you. A normal person would probably die. However, doing it this way was the only effective way he knew to wake you up from your fantasies.

You screamed in terror and he was obligated to stop when you punched his hands holding your shoulder.

He was worried that he might have overdone it and he scared you. He just needed your attention and not scared you to death.

But little did he know that you screamed not because of terror but of surprise.

Miguel is in mere inches in front of you, holding your shoulders. You can practically smell his rich smell.

You are such a lucky girl.

Maybe he shook you way too hard but the only word you blurted out after a pregnant pause was……

“You are so fucking hot.” You uttered without blinking.

The collective of spider people sighed in relief. They were also worried that Miguel had made you stupid after that shake but you seem back to normal and functioning quite well.

“Gwen, you’ll go with me.” He grumbled and jumped without further ado.

Gwen was confused for a second but followed suit.

“Hey wait! Did you ask me to go with you!? HEY!” You followed closely behind them but failed when the entrance closed just after they jumped.

“Oh girlie, sometimes you gotta get out of your head when the prize is literally mere inches of you.”

Jessica shook her head and said those words with a grin. You were left flabbergasted when you realized you soiled your chance to work closely with Miguel because you daydream way too much.

Like it or not, he was kinda right 😬 interesting idea, TERRIBLE execution. He’s a bit cocky (rightfully so) but i love him and he has one of my favorite smiles, look at him 😆

Izuna

I can’t stand him. To me, he’s the devil and angel on Madara’s shoulders and he wants problems, always 💀

Itachi

I’m not going to sit here and act like he didn’t do some horrible and dumb things, causing more harm than good. This guy could have solved a lot a things by opening his mouth. But he looks cool and I’m stuck to the few good things we did get from his true nature

Sasuke

I have strong feelings surrounding Sasuke and I’m going to try not to rant. Out of all the Uchiha, I understand his motives the best and his anger towards Konoha is more than justified… but him being continuously shown displaying a lack of communication skills irks me to my core. I also would have been all for movie with more of his POV, but that’s just me. It’s complicated because I either, don’t care or care too much depending on the day/specific grievance 💀

On a brighter note, I think he has one of the best character designs in the whole series

Shisui

A mischievous sweetheart. 1000% deserved better. He also had a horrifying ability that would have been great for a villain and he has the best lashes in Konoha. I like to believe he survived and is living life as a blind old man somewhere leave me alone 😭

My Uchiha Husband, you forgot him 😌 sure he’s got a laundry list of problems and he’s a red flag, but I’m an Obito apologist lmao. Unpopular opinion; I don’t think he started a war simply over Rin, I think Rin’s death was just the last straw as he had old man Madara brainwashing him for a good bit. Also he’s the hottest Uchiha imo

In conclusion; they’ve all done a lot of things wrong, but they weren’t necessarily wrong for feeling the way they did. This is the problem when you’re a lover and fighter 💀

I've been tagged by @stars-of-kyber and @andthebubbles. 😁 So although I feel barely qualified, I guess I best do this...

1. How many works do you have on AO3?

I started about 2 months ago, so... and yes, they're all Kanthony. Initially just started as a way of contributing to Anthony Week 2023, and I didn't even expect that I'd actually do all 7 days.

2. What’s your total AO3 word count?

13,370.

Currently ranging at 661 to 3,779 per fic. Rookie numbers!

3. What fandoms do you write for?

So far, just my beloved Bridgerton.

But there have been a couple other shows that have tempted me...

4. What are your top 5 fics by kudos?

Astride  - 166

Nursery  - 118

Hunt - 105

Yours - 94

Temptation - 88

Having published a handful with various ratings, it's quite interesting to see the kudos, bookmarks (private vs public), and subs ratios! Much to think about.

5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?

Yes.

Why... I sort of have a need? Idk, when I see a comment it's hard to just leave it hanging there and not to reply. Like irl if someone looked at something I made and verbally commented on it... and I just stared back blankly not saying anything. 😐 This is how it feels to me on the receiving end at least haha. And my replies saying various forms of 'Thank you!' is probably quite repetitive, but hey ho.

Plus comments give you that lil hit of dopamine; from both povs as a writer or reader. Being on the reader side for most of my Ao3 activities I tend to comment on most of fics I read, I can't help it - I must tell you what I loved about it and why, and there's a pleasure in reciprocating that back too. Look, now I've written half an essay on the subject, gaaah. (I've not been on Ao3 as much as I'd like to recently, and because I opened it to scoop out the stats for some of the questions above I can now see that I have some unreads... and the need is happening.)

6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

Hmmm *thinking really hard*, I don't think any of them have an ending that is all that angsty. If I had to choose, maybe Temptation?

The pattern I've shown so far in my posted works is that it's gonna be 90% fluff. Though that is liable to change. 😆

7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

Probably Nursery?

I'm not sure, cause they've all ended on a pretty optimistic note so far. But that one has Kate and Anthony with a few of their kids, so it's the furthest on the Kanthony HEA timeline.

8. Do you get hate on fics?

Not yet...

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

Ummm 👀 I may have dabbled in some smut.

What kind... hm, the kind where both people are panting for each other, and end up caving because they literally can't hold their horniness in anymore (this totally explains why I went feral for Bridgerton S2, ha). Another pattern I seem to have is making Anthony a submissive man puddle.

10. Do you write crossovers? What’s the craziest one you’ve written?

Not yet, but I do have some crack ideas I may explore.

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

Not that I know of, I very much doubt it.

How often does this happen to people?

No. I'd certainly be all for it if anyone ever wanted to translate any works of mine. 😊

If I was proficient enough to write in other languages, then I would probably try publishing the different versions from the get go.

13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?

Kinda?

Nothing formal, but there was a lengthy comment thread on Reddit some months ago where myself and another user went back and forth re-writing the script for that stormy library scene 😅 (not so much re-writing what was already there, bar the last few lines, more of a continuation in a universe where Kate hadn't fled).

14. What’s your all-time favourite ship?

Must I even answer this? Kanthony, c'mon now.

15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

There's only 1 work that I have, where I've actually started a chapter 2. And I have all the faith that I will finish it. ✍️🤓

Other potential WIPs, that are currently just posted as one shots, only exist in my head... who knows if they will see the light of day.

16. What are your writing strengths?

This question feels illegal to be asked.

I have no idea, I'm very new to this whole writing thing. At least in terms of fiction, so I'm not sure what I'd consider my strengths to be. I feel like I need some more practice before I can get a real sense of this?

I would say that dialogue usually comes very quickly to me, and it's having to fill in the bits around it that takes more brain muscles. So that might indicate something.

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

Everything apart from the answer to the question above.

But really I think it's remembering that there is a world outside of the main couple happening, and trying to describe the details there. Also other general 'setting the scene' stuff like clothing, weather etc etc. I usually just want to jump straight in with some random dialogue.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?

On writing it... no thoughts; not done it yet!

If I needed to for some unknown fic reason in the future, I'm sure I'll be apologising profusely in the author notes for trusting Google translate and probably butchering whatever language it is.

19. First fandom you wrote for?

Still just the one so far, Bridgerton. 😌

20. Favourite fic you’ve written?

Hunt 🥺🥹 I was a lot of feels, and just very indulgent tbh.

I also really enjoyed my shortest one, Obedient, which was in 2nd person (hadn't done that before). The writing of that one was just really fun and I idky but I've reread it quite a bit!

now that i think about it, hee and yn getting together would just be weird because that dude's like 40 ig so it's just no. it just wouldn't make sense and hee would only use her since he doesn't care about her, as he admitted himself. and you're right that even if they do end up together it would be weird like imagine having your bsf as your stepmom and having to see your dad be all lovey with her. i am completely fine with this ending but i want yn to get some much needed closure and hee to suffer which is unlikely since he never really loved her. he would probably just be jealous that someone else is fucking her now. maybe you can just show it fast forwarded to a couple of months and yn is seeing a guy (sunghoon) like they're in the talking phase and she's trying to recover (?) and hee sees them. also i love the way you reply to asks 😭😭

CD's Movie Poll #1 Winner

The Road to El Dorado

* fair warning: spoilers ahead *

Kicking off the start of my movie poll/movie watching series is Dreamworks’ The Road to El Dorado!

ngl this film has been on my watchlist for quite a while, and yet I never got around to actually watching it until now! (or rather, not until the other night lol) I’d heard so many great things about it before like the memorable characters, the kind of 2D animation that you really don’t see in Dreamworks films these days, and of course, the music!

I will say that I really enjoyed all three of those things in some ways and others 🤩

Right off the bat, Kevin Kline and Kenneth Branagh have really great chemistry! In fact, I loved their chemistry so much that I wanted to see footage of them recording their lines. so I legit looked up something like “road to el dorado behind the scenes” on youtube as soon as I finished watching the film and found that not only did they do ALL their voice recording sessions together in the same room but they also used plastic swords and playfully had it at each other!! AHHHHHH! so good!! 😂 ⚔️

but yeah they're hilarious! both on screen and behind it. I also just love the fact that both Kevin and Kenneth come from theater backgrounds cause I think that definitely added to how well they portrayed being con men 🎭

Ofc actors aside, some of you probably know this about me already, but I’m a BIG fan of dynamic duos when it comes to media...

I loved the straight man-ness that was Tulio, and he was probably my favorite of the two. I tend to like characters that find comfort in strategy, cause I tend to be that kinda person too. I know sometimes the logical and level-headed ones aren't always funny, entertaining, or the people to root for in the slightest. But Tulio definitely isn't one of them. I found myself chuckling at a good number of things he said and did like not believing in fate simply cause he relies on loaded dice for example, plus his sarcasm, and how much he tried to compose his patience as well

Miguel was great too! It was fun how much he loved the city of El Dorado and just wanted to take it all in, and his endless optimism of course! But he definitely needed more guitar playing scenes! idk there’s something about those characters who just have an instrument to play at the ready for dramatics that’s really humorous for me, it’s almost, if not totally, breaking the fourth wall in a way 😆

I also really enjoyed the Chief, I love how it’s implied that he knew all along Miguel and Tulio were humans and not gods and yet he still liked them and let them stay anyway. that said, it's kind of a shame that the pair didn't stay in el dorado cause there genuinely were people there who adored them when clearly the people of Spain didn’t…heck they didn't seem to have a problem that they weren't actually gods!

and you have to admit, Miguel and Tulio did match the stone art of the gods quite nicely, like the resemblance there was freaky 😳

Chel was great as well, her cleverness and way of sweet talking definitely stood out to me the most about her character, and I also really loved her voice! 😌

and Altivo the horse? I wanna say he was truly Miguel’s companion when compared to Tulio earning the heart of Chel. after all, Miguel was the one who wanted to rescue him and bring him along, and I was genuinely happy when they decided to bring him on their journey cause the horse wasn’t a bad guy, like he not only gave Tulio and Miguel the keys to escape the ship, but he wasn’t spiteful to them or anything. basically what I’m trying to say is he isn’t how Maximus treated Flynn Rider/Eugene Fitzherbert initially, horse to con man

As for the villain? well…this is the first of three times I’m gonna be saying, “I got some Aladdin vibes from this movie" 😅 👉👈 which isn’t completely a bad thing by any means! 

But yeah…I immediately got Jafar vibes the minute Tzekel-Kan came on screen (also I had to look up this name cause I didn’t catch it very well while I was watching this film, I just kept calling him “Priest Guy”)

I mean…the fact that he can do sorcery, on top of serving a sweet kind-hearted ruler, tangling with not just one but two thieves, anybody picking up what I’m putting down? Yeah that’s really all I gotta say about that guy 🤷🏻‍♀️

also I swear to god that Jim Cummings is in literally everything that was 2D-animated in the 1990s-2000s! and he's always gotta play that big tough guy. Again, that also reminded me of Aladdin. but then again the conquistador didn’t really have that big of a role in this, at the very least I just hope he gave T-K what he got coming to him

I guess just to get it out of the way, I was admittedly humming "One Jump Ahead" in the beginning when Tulio and Miguel are getting chased through the city, but that’s all there is in terms of Aladdin similarities the way i see it

lastly in terms of the characters and cast, I gotta give credit to Elton John for being part of it too! I mean who doesn't love a singing narrator? and he and Tim Rice did an awesome job crafting the soundtrack for this film. every song was absolutely BEAUTIFUL 🎶 ✨

Needless to say, the animation was 👌 and the opening sequence was definitely one of my favorites throughout the whole film as well as the expressions and the solid movements of the characters, very well done no question there. oh! and how there were just gold objects of anything from butterflies to apples in el dorado! they didn’t call it the city of gold for nothing! ✨✨✨

but in the end, did it really have go the route of the overall goal is get all the gold by the end only to actually lose most, if not all, of it by the end? I just feel like that plot line is done a lot in movies. tho to be fair, this was made in the 2000s so heck, it probably began that trend. But I’ve found in recent years that when it comes to treasure hunting movies, this exact scenario happens just repeatedly and it’s nothing new. I’d say movies like The Goonies and Uncharted are two that come to mind for me that have this happen...

Now there’s no way I can conclude my thoughts here without saying how AMAZING the “It’s Tough to Be a God” sequence was! I LOVED the “It's Tough to Be a God" sequence from the singing of the two leads to the colors to the everything about it, it was all magnificent! I'd arguably say it was my favorite scene in the whole film! And I'd be lying if I said that Miguel and Tulio’s version hasn't been stuck in my head ever since I watched it, because so help me it HAS and STILL IS and why that version is not on Spotify, I have no clue, but it SHOULD be. Again, props to Elton and Tim for writing this song and the others!!

So overall, I thought El Dorado was a great movie! It was definitely worth the watch! It's not perfect by any means, I'm not even sure it's my favorite Dreamworks film, but it was still very fun and entertaining all the same and I'm really glad that I finally got to see it after all these years! 🤗

chicken girls s10 opinions! (since the final episode came out today)

this season was honestly ROUGH with many different details that made it better and worse in some ways?

season 10a (episodes 1-10):

• the beginning of season 10a was such a slow beginning! getting through the first few episodes was such a bore and i would often skip weeks of watching😭

• i love brat for trying out the parallel between the second gen (s7-9) and third gen (s10) plot lines but i hated it! I’m sorry!!! it was kind of messy and pointless to say the least

• ivy is a boring protagonist and that’s that. after having iconic characters like rhyme and harmony as our leads, ivy didn’t have the spark that they did? she got severely better in 10b (will go in depth later) but she was such a bitch all of 10a!

• kara and ivys beef was honestly funny to watch. im somewhat of a kara stan so to see their beef that was REASONABLE was entertaining and one of the saving graces of 10

• you could tell the writers were bored out of their minds making this season! half of the plot points were either dropped mid season or not even fully developed!!

• bailey and her brother were kind of annoying im sorry. she felt like a sport version of leyla that was whiny literally the WHOLE season. this isn’t the actors fault at all, it’s simply THE WRITERS FAULT

• jj was a chill character. i liked her and she made sense. her home plot line was really sad and bailey had her best moment in the whole season by helping jj which i enjoyed. jj and bailey are one of my fav ships this season btw, they were cute and i enjoyed watching them! (sorry reading this back, this sentence made no sense😭)

• the gen 2 chicken girls were so boring in 10a. i feel like the writers just wanted to keep them in so ppl would still watch for one reason or another. in result of this, they got the dumbest plot lines in the show. I MEAN WHAT WAS THE TEST PLOTLINE W SIMONE AND PETRA?! my girl simone went through sm in 10b tho which ill go in depth on later obvi

• why did poppy do a full personality 360 from forever team? made no sense whatsoever!

• LOVE LOVE LOVE that we brought the dance team back!? it was random but i loved the og plot w the dance team and all that

• petra was a bitch in 10a and i loved her sm😆 she was a better written character than the 4 lead girls and idk why the writers did that but slay!

• kara x bailey, i was waiting the whole god damn season for and we didn’t get it😭

• the best character award goes to finn! he wasn’t annoying and remained my favorite character the whole season. some of y’all bout to hate but he was the best male character chicken girls has SEEN. he was such a better love interest that both walker and tk

• ivy and finn were cute ig? idk they got a build up which i liked but it was also out of nowhere

• i hate theo sm what😭 he was attractive but like he as a total bitch to BOTH petra and ivy! he wasn’t a one dimensional character but wasn’t two dimensional either? (iykyk)

• 10a was messy and i didn’t like most of it sorry😭 BUT 10B WAS SO MUCH BETTER I PROMISE

10b (episodes 11-20)

• UGH WHAT AN UPGRADE THIS WAS!! the second half of the season took like 3 months to come out BUT THE WRITERS NEEDED IT!

• finn, kara and jj were such a trio this second half and i LIVED for it! they were so supportive towards each other

• bailey tempering with more stuff she shouldn’t be dealing with YET AGAIN!! she didn’t need to do that whole thing for ben and set him up w a girl that was literally sapphic and liked her😭

• ivy tryna kiss petras man? kinda bitchy but it was fun to watch more in 10b than 10a? ivy and theo were also kinda cute ngl and they had chemistry

• SIMONE AND CLAIRE WERE AT EACH OTHERS THROATS.

• bailey got better FINALLY. getting her OWN plot line without having to temper with other peoples? YES YES YES. and it was abt trust issues too. ugh so real girl

• petra was so real all of 10b and also deserved SO MUCH BETTER OMG. i felt so bad for her the whole second half

• the whole football, dance crossover bailey thing was kind of a smart move on the directors part? idk it was kinda boring but also gave bailey MORE DEPTH WHICH SHE NEEDED!

• kara for more screen time!!

• kara and ivy had that really cute moment where they forgave each other and ended the rivalry. absolutely loved that

• ivys eating disorder was so important and a great plot point. i love that she was able to open up to the team! my only criticism was that (again, like most of the season) came out of nowhere!

• i feel like they could’ve afforded a better set. you could even tell regionals wasn’t even real bc they didn’t even have a stage

• bailey and sage! i liked them ngl and i hope sage comes back

• why did ivy go back to finn? like she wanted theo the whole season and then went back to him?…I LOVED IT! again, gave the season a bit of spice towards the end which came back to me wanting more!

• the last two episodes were REMARKABLE! 10B WAS GOOD AS IT STARTED OUT BUT UGH GOT SO MUCH MORE INTERESTING AND I WAS SO EXCITED TO SEE THE NEW EP TODAY

• petra needs to come back. i miss her already :(

• i lowkey thought jj and finn were gonna happen but I GUESS NOT. no but i also feel like jj was hinted at as being sapphic. she said smth like "the upsides of being a lesbian are.." and idk if that was referring to bailey or not but i found that interesting

• the group dynamic wasnt there until the last three episodes which was like again, the writers fault but them getting the bracelets out of nowhere was so confusing

• THE LGBTQ SHIPS THIS SEASON (canon and non canon) WERE SO GOOD BYE- BAILEY WAS DEF A SHIPPABLE CHARACTER AND UGH I JUST LOVED IT. FINN MY TRANS BABY!!

• now finally, the gen 2 chicken girls and they're PLOTLINE THIS SEASON. 10a was pointless but 10b. wtf was going on! nothing was working out and simone deserved sm better. claire and bel were SUCH trashy friends. poppy wasn't even given a bracelet so idk why she thought she was a chicken girl?! the existence of leyla was also 100% wiped and it felt like everyone forgot her?? claire also got so mad at simone for giving the bracelets away when she and bel didn't even care about the group the whole season💀

final thoughts:

sorry this was like a 85% bashing on the new season but chicken girls has gotten such a downgrade over time. the fans honestly deserve better if any of them are even still watching lmao. i think we are getting a season 11 bc of the cliffhanger as well as corrine joy (simone) posting a tiktok of them filming. if we do get a season 11, ill probably tune in and give my opinions but that's all for now. i would say to the chicken girls fans and anyone else to give this season a watch in your free time. it isn't terrible but it isn't the best we've ever seen from chicken girls *ahem seasons 3 and 7*. anyways, yeah it is worth somewhat of a watch. the start of the season compared to the ending is astronomical on how much of a change it was. ok bye now haha

Oh no I have to pick just one? 😩 I'm working on an Assassin!Peter story where Wade gets bamfed to a different universe and meets a deranged assassin Spider-Man. It's kinda just smutty violence 🥰 I've been picking out some fun villains, like The Vulture. Also including some lovely nc/cnc. I have lots of time to think but little time to write right now (I have a newborn) so taking the wips slow and steady.

I have a story in my head...not sure yet if it's Spideypool or OC. Like it could easily be Spideypool but the challenge of writing oc is alluring. Anyway it's a southern Gothic story about an abandoned church in a swamp, where a Cthulhu cult meets. There's a murder tied up with a political corruption scandal, and the main villain would be some sort of Eldritch horror masquerading as a politician. Characters include a wet-behind-the-ears sheriff deputy, a big-city detective, and a reporter. I haven't pinned the time period yet, it would be fun in the 30s, 50s or 70s, lol. Probably what I need to do is start researching locations and then the time period will fall in place around historical events that happened there. I love the process of discovery in writing historical fiction.

I guess 200,000 words published is an achievement? Or possibly just a sign of insanity, lol. Idk, Spideypool is the first fandom I've written for and I didn't even write much fiction before this. So I guess I'm proud of how much my writing has improved over the last year. I'm trying to publish a 50k word WIP that I started last summer and I'm so tempted to completely rewrite the early scenes because I think they suck now. 😆😩

I would love to write more in the Sandman universe. It's so well developed but we don't have a lot of stories about it. Like Despair, what's her story? Delirium? Neil Gaiman does a great job of crafting a beautiful landscape and then giving you a little window into what's happening there and making you want more. I haven't read much Sandman fanfiction, I bet it mostly works from the TV show and not the books.

Oh nooo oh noooo the yellowjackets can of worms I've been stuffing into an old box in my mind 😆 are you wanting my thoughts on anything in particular??

I actually still have 6 episodes left in season 2 so my thoughts aren't fully formed yet, but I just found out Van survived 😭 and I'm so happy 😭 also I was fucking SHOCKED when Jackie died, I was just staring at the screen with wide eyes and my mouth hanging open, goosebumps down both my arms. The actress for young Shauna performed that so incredibly, I felt her shock and pain and desperation.

Other than that....agh I dunno! It's really interesting to me the way they're telling both the past and present stories at once, because at least for me it can be hard to connect the adults to their teenage selves since it's just been SO long. I'm fucking dying to understand what is happening in the present day, too. And to understand if what happened in the woods was actually supernatural shit or just literally a result of trauma and them trying to make meaning of and have a sense of control over what they were going through. Bc if it really is just that, then what's happening in the present with Taissa and Travis and Lottie? I mean...eh yeah it could also just be the trauma. Yeah. I'm hooked and curious.

As for opinions on the characters........ probably Natalie is my favorite in both time periods. When they lost the moose in the frozen lake and she sobs "we need it! We need it!" 💔💔💔 and her heartbreak over Travis. Fuck man. I just think she loves so hard and never gets it in return and that makes me really sad. I love that Shauna's so unhinged in the present, tbh. I'm frankly kinda terrified of Misty and want everyone to just......stay AWAY from her. I love Taissa so much but I'm so frustrated with her older self because girlfriend GET HELP you're a grown woman, a mother, wtf dude go see a psychiatrist why do you think you can handle this with some fucking espresso. Oh and I loooove her friendship with Shauna. It's just sweet how they've trusted each other with their most vulnerable things and even all those years later Tai still felt safe showing up at Shauna's house when she didn't know where else to go. Oh and and. I fucking love Ben and he's currently really losing it and I'm gonna be so gd depressed when he dies (cause.....I don't see how he won't)

Omg and I didn't even address the cannibalism 🤦 uhhh well I literally couldn't watch. And it was so freaky how they all sort of hive mind converged. Thought the way the writers had Ben not participate and be so digusted by it was a great way to force the audience to feel that. And. Tbh. I can't blame them. I don't know if I could have done it but like...I can understand how...in some ways...it could have felt like a waste of meat? Idk like if you're capable of separating it mentally then honestly good for you. What was Jackie gonna do with it? She's already dead. So. That said it was obviously the moment that tilted them over the edge into eventually creating traps and actively killing and eating people. So. Not great.

Asshole characters:

Chris as Pete when he’s drunkenly hitting on Emily’s Liza in PH was great. It was so accurately reminiscent of times when you’re out partying or drinking and your guy friend and or coworker whose normally kinda grimy when you’re sober then full on hits on you while he’s plastered. And when you shut him down he just goes my b and walks away and you never talk about it again 🤣 (blow to his ego and he’s def ashamed but he will never let you know)

I also thought back to how this is the same man who convincingly made “do you two fondue” a thing because his character didn’t know or understand fondue meant bread and cheese and not the nasty 😆.

He’s quite talented and quite versatile in his acting capabilities.

I know some ppl are gunna come on and make a snarky comment (we see you, lurker haters) but y’all! I’m here for celebrating what the man can do. More blogs like yours!

I also sometimes really wonder what ransom is doing. I felt like Rian Johnson maybe inadvertently created a very interesting character who I think deserved to do and get more. He wasn’t in much of the film until the second half but I hope in a future Knives Out we get a glimpse of post jail him and what that looks like. I wonder about his house and why it looks like a total bachelor party pad in the middle of the woods. I also sometimes feel a bit sorry for him because nobody in his family likes him and he still apparently joins their family events and they all just pile on him. Of course in the end he deserved all the hate, but in the beginning I kinda felt like they were all just harping on how terrible and worthless he was while he would just sit there and eat cookies. Was that just me? IDK lol

Asshole honorable mention: Johnny storm was IMHO the best part of those old fantastic four movies. He was so fun and silly and annoying and I loved the dynamics with Michael chiklis’ Thing. Those movies need more love because they were genuinely good and cheesy old fashioned 2000s fun. Again, seeing him go from that to Steve in a few short years was quite groundbreaking imo. I’ll never understand why he didn’t get more prestigious recognition for that - who else in comic book lore has been able to play such drastically different characters and nail both?

Ransom is a misunderstood character. There’s a reason he’s my second favorite. He’s got his issues, but you also kind of want him to win. I think Ransom wanted love an acceptance from him family. And I would love to see more about Ransom.

Johnny Storm is amazing!! I came really close to adding him on here. Johnny was the best part of those movies, and The Thing. I could watch a buddy cop movie with those two!

yeah so as for jw4, before they even started filming it, i wrote a chapter where john surprises her with a trip to paris for valentine's day. they didn't end up going since ro was having separation anxiety and decided to postpone it. so when it was announced that john would be in paris for jw4 i was like omg this is perfect. then the movie came out lmaoooo.

so yeah i do want to weave some of the events into it. i think paris is probably something he's never told her (understandably so since it would really be a lot to take in--his whole life is, tbh) and of course i'll have to change a few things for obvious reasons. i can't say certain things bc i don't want to spoil it but i obviously have to take some creative liberties there. also it's a chapter coming up soon too so idk how i'm going to post it since some people won't have seen JW4 yet. i guess i'll just have to tag it as john wick spoilers. MASSIVE john wick spoilers, obviously, and hope that they come back to it once they've seen the movie.

that name doesn't really feel accurate i just literally don't know what else to call it but its my AU where MC is from miami (aka self-insert au ig?? even tho its supposed to be a self-insert anyway?? idk idk) and i just kinda wanted to explore the ramifications of an MC that knows a Miami that's very different from the one that miguel is in, not only bc its the 80s but also the criminal element and also the general areas of miami that i grew up in are very different from where miguel grew up... i also wanted to do HEAVY research about miami in the 80s (maybe i can show off my reading list lol) to get a more "authentic" portrait of the city ??? SO LIKE all that mixed together would kinda end up changing the plot up bc like ofc it'll still be romantic bc im a simp BUT bc im writing like a narrative with other themes and an "OC" and not a romantic visual novel, the elements i'll steal from CMIM are more like the skeleton of the plot and not a scene-for-scene remake, ykwim? so bc of that, i also imagined it shorter and also like a movie script - three-act structure and all that jazz SO!! its an action/adventure/crime/romantic/comedy taking place in 1980s miami!! The one posted on my blog is Damón Amsel,a RSA student who is fatherless thus story & personality is different i made him for people who dislike canon character oc children of the staff so he could still be interacted with.

Damón Nova Crowley is his original version. He a 4th year who a professor aide for Mozus. He very coy,sly,and always scheming something that his father can pick up on and has to usually deal with if he can't figure out what it is before he does it. Damón says he tries to do things to not burden him but always does. They share tea times/drinks together and often Dire has to go caring dad mode as Damón will confess his stresses to him when drunk that leads to crying.

Damón has a habit of leaving broken hearts and amassing numerous new loves as he is very promiscuous. His father is expecting a grandchild anytime as he constantly has random women in his office asking to see Damón who claim to be his girlfriend,fiancee,or even wife. Some have false claimed they are pregnant from Damón since he is the son of a well-known mage but its always false. It has only happen once but a man came to his office and said he was a lover of Damón too but wasnt there angry but instead had good things to say and advised Damón maybe just needs attention from the right people to help him.

One thing this Damón does that is super helpful is he is amazing at his job and other tasks his father gives him NRC wise. Mozus adores his help in getting books and other materials for his classes alot. Damón also will professionally answer student's questions before Mozus can. He mini tutors some of the students aswell. The 2nd & 3rd years appreciate him so much as they all remember him last year as he was Ignihyde's housewarden. Idia & Damón are good friends too and often Damón shares advice if he asks for some.

This Damón isn't on my blog cause one idk if as i said canon character oc children of staff are widely accepted. Ive asked before and it was like 50/50. He also is very matured themed and when i was deciding which to make profile on felt it was safer to put the fatherless one as his theme isnt as mature.

If we're being honest here, I think Tom wasn't necessarily ready for kids and a family but, maybe he and Zendaya had long talks on what they each want for the future and they can see it with each other. Maybe her desires are the family and children and he said, I couldn't agree more, why wait. I think Zendaya doesn't say much or anything about what she wants relationship wise, but, believe me she herself may have mentioned she wants children by a certain time and she doesn't really see herself waiting too long, or being a certain age. The pandemic showed alot of people's true colors and desires I think. Unfortunately, he does where his heart on his sleeve and I think Z was a tit for tat with JE. I will say this, Zendaya is wonderful, but, Tom has shown himself to be just as wonderful. I think people tend to think she's the greatest thing since sliced bread and make Tom out to be the one whose desperate for her. I don't think he's desperate at all. Just because she's beautiful people put her on this huge pedestal, and downplay him. When in actuality, beauty isn't everything. Personality and character mean more, and I think that's what makes him so attractive, even to Z possibly. This is all speculation of course. But, yeah...I see you gal...

What I dislike about those interviews, I really wish his publicist had spoken to him and told him to be himself but, leave your relationship issues at home. They kinda left him out there like a lamb for the taking. Never show your HAND. Lol!!!

Anyway....

Idk why some ppl think that Tom isn't wonderful. Did I ever say that? 🥴 Where is this coming from? I've never said anything of the sort. If anything, I feel like I've been pretty fair with both of them?

I just state things how I personally see them. 🤷🏾‍♀️ You all don't have to agree, but don't put words in my mouth either.

You can go back and read my posts from 2020 and 2021 when we were talking heavily about their breakup and whatnot and see that I've ALWAYS taken a neutral stance when it comes to them and their breakup, and I think they're BOTH equally wonderful for each other! 🥰❤️

Women are just seen more as "The Prize" (it's true!), so yea, I think MOST guys are lucky to be with whatever great woman they're with, and they would tell you that also. 😂🤷🏾‍♀️

Most men know they would be nothing without their woman. Why do you think that men have such a HARD time being alone after a breakup or the death of a spouse? Women have it hard too (of course) but you have to admit that most of us can take it or leave it sometimes lol 😆 🤣

We're not gonna crumble if we're single or need to be independent for a while.

Anyway, just to clarify, when ppl say that Tom isn't gonna do better than Zendaya, they're not saying this just cuz she's "pretty". There are PLENTY of pretty women in Hollywood. Just like when ppl talk about how wonderful and great that Tom is for Z, we're not just talking about his looks. There are PLENTY of handsome guys in Hollywood, but not everyone is the total package. 🤷🏾‍♀️

When ppl talk about how great they are for each other, they're talking about their kindness, how down to earth they are, how level-headed and straight and narrow Z is, how mature, respectful, and good-hearted that Tom is, etc. It's NOT just about looks, or even how successful and rich they are (although, those two are pluses lol 🤭).

It's their CHARACTER. It's the TOTAL package. Not just "looks" or whatever.

And who said Tom is "desperate"? Again, where are you all getting this from? 🥴 Certainly not from my blog.

If we joke that Tom is whipped it's because it's so CUTE when a man is totally whipped for you! 🥰❤️ It's not a bad thing, and it doesn't make the man "desperate" either. 🙄 You WANT a man to feel that way about you! 🥰

Personally, I think TZ are both whipped for each other! How many times have I said this lol? 😂 I personally think it's cute and adorable. ❤️

Re: Z and kids....

Like I said before with men, I think a woman starts thinking more about children and "the future" when she thinks she's found the man who she would want to be the father of her children 🥰

Obviously, if Tom is talking about having kids to the public, you know good and well he and Z have discussed this as well. 😏
