I'm pretty sure that Taylor doesn't actually close his eyes at first; they just look closed because of how much he's smiling, they were already somewhat closed, he's looking at a downward angle, and his eyelashes are just that fucking big.

If you look really closely, there's a tiny movement in his eyelashes that I think is him actually closing this eyes fully. I'm pointing this out because Nicholas is the one who initiates the kiss, and he does so in an adorable way. He tilts his head up, but you can see him pause for a moment. I would fucking love to know what Taylor was saying here, but basically, Nick pauses to wait for Taylor to meet him in the middle when he's finished talking. If Taylor actually has his eyes open a tiny bit, he would see it.

I think I noticed because if you look at it as Henry and Alex, it feels like Henry's asking for a kiss? He tilts his head up and moves his lips, but stops a tiny bit, like a request or a question?? Alex would be able to see that, and respond, and it's when he starts moving to meet him that Henry continues, and it feels super adorable???
This is one of those moments where I get feelings about a clip, but when I try to type them out and explain them, I realize that I actually have no idea what the feelings are lmfao hopefully this made at least a tiny bit of sense

i know most of us think it's a fun little tool but the ai chatbots and ai art is so upsetting to me. i'm pretty sure we all saw it panning out differently - in the future, our 9 to 5 jobs can be run by machines so we can spend our time on our hobbies - but it's turned out the opposite way. the things that make us human - conversation, art, and language - have been taken over by technology so that we can what? work longer hours? lose our sense of identity and community to capitalism? it doesn't make sense to me. we need human interaction, human paintings and sketches and translations and embroidery and music. idk man it hurts so much that under capitalism any new invention is just used to rob us of freedom when it was designed to give us more

thinking about how Crowley is the only one to have truly lost the bookshop
in season 1 Aziraphale is gone and doesn’t learn till much later that it burned down but even then it gets restored pretty fast for him. Crowley on the other hand was there in the bookshop as it burned down, all those memories-everything. He went into Armageddon knowing it was gone-their one safe space destroyed
in season 2 Aziraphale gives it up when he accepts the position in heaven-leaving it to Muriel before going to talk to Crowley. Without talking to Crowley the decision is made for when he leaves. But Crowley doesn’t follow him to heaven and leaves in the Bentley. The bookshop is gone and once again it’s not his decision
(and that makes the comments about the bookshop being crowley’s favorite place hurt)

idk i just think there's something rly poetic about one point perspective. it's more or less a song about a guy talking about all these crazy things and these things he plans to do like run for government, form a covers band, swim with the economists etc. and he says "bear with me man, i lost my train of thought." and the song ends with that. and right before the end he questions if he just imagined everything. he even says "by the time reality hits." in art one point perspective is what the name implies; it's a fixed perspective of a scene. you only get the one view of it. throughout this song and the entirety of tbhc we only get the one narrator, the one view of the events that are being described. and it's hard to say whether or not the narrator is even reliable. the entire album is done in one point perspective

Do you remember what life was before Satoru Gojou?
It was sad. Miserable. Pathetic in every sense. The world had no meaning, and existing felt like a punishment rather than a privilege. The things you were doing had no purpose. They were repetitive, soulless, and depressing. Each time you’d find yourself staring outside of the window, the skies were becoming gloomier. The miasma of decay was getting thicker. There was scarcity in food and water. Yet, there was no option to go outside of your abandoned home when an eerie fog with the acrid smell of rotting flesh and blood were everywhere haunting you.
At one point, rather than trying to survive in a world that no longer welcomed you, you believed it would have been easier to just perish. Die at long last just like everyone else you knew. The people who once had a family, a lover, a pet, and a friend—they used to be people like you. Alive and breathing under your warm skin and fully-functioning set of human organs. But now, they were the opposite of what you once knew. They had become ghastly, tottering creatures looking at you with their frenzied, colorless eyes, and their putrid, saliva-filled mouths. In fact, when a couple of them managed to break into your home, staggering to chase you around the house with the rabid eagerness to masticate on your innards, you thought of finally just letting things be. After all, no one was left. You were probably the only living being in an area full of decomposing, white-blanched corpses. With their wretched appearance and fetid smell, the last bits of humor inside of you wanted to go along and mimic their series of raspy growls. You were dying, anyway. Finally.
You knew you were dying. You anticipated how their disease would soon be inching its way into your flesh.
That, with no resistance, you would let yourself be one of them.
That was your plan. That was… until every single zombie in your vicinity was sniped with a shotgun. You could barely move as bits of flesh, blood, and sinew flew all over the place. Their skulls—busted. Their entrails—falling out. You would have screamed in disgust after seeing maggots crawl out of their eyes, but then your eyes caught sight of the hero who saved the poor damsel in distress. His arctic white hair, electric blue eyes, and porcelain skin. There was no sign of a single disease in his body.
Damn. How could one person shoot a shotgun with such precision and accuracy? But more importantly, how much of a cliche was it for him to show up and be your savior at the brink of your death?
“Satoru Gojou,” he’d easily introduced himself, pulling his makeshift mask down while standing tall behind the army of foul-smelling beasts that he just massacred. What a cool man. What a dream. What a… what a… hold on, wasn’t he too good to be true?
“I must be dead,” you even joked at the time despite your struggle to catch your breath, “There’s no way a random guy would just come up here and save me like this.”
One smirk from him was all it took to completely win you over. “You don’t look dead to me.” And then a hand to help you up. “Come on, we gotta leave this place.”
And so you did. You were brought to a safe haven that you never thought existed. You were acquainted with people who had a beating heart and an uninfected brain. You were given the golden ticket to cohabit with them in a secured camp and an acceptable living condition. Everything was rationed, but you had no right to ask for much in a situation like that. All you could offer was your gratefulness, and every time you saw your godly, angel-faced hero, you could not help but think of how much you owe your living life to him.
So much so that you would think about ways to approach him without becoming a bother. He was your typical popular guy, expected by the others to rescue their lives. You were just one of the many. He had the virtue of a soldier, ready for war just to make sure that his people were safe and sound. Maybe he actually was in the army before, which could explain the reason for his expertise in guns and survival. There was no way for you to know when you barely had the chance to talk to him, and sincerely thank him at the very least, for saving your life when you almost lost it.
But then, he must have heard the same thing from the countless women who followed his tail each time he arrived back in the camp. The ladies would scramble on their feet just to make sure that they were tending to his needs; feeding him warm meals, treating his wounds, making him laugh.
You see, crushing on a stranger was a ridiculous idea, especially in the middle of an apocalyptic world. You kept that thought in your head as you stepped through a pile of mud, cursing under your breath while continuing towards the pathway to the bonfire. No, you didn’t make it there. Because someone had smoothly pulled you by the belt loop, dragging you behind the tree before he revealed his most admiring self.
“S-Satoru,” you stammered without a reason. Or maybe you did have a reason. He was good-looking enough that your thoughts were becoming jumbled. A hot mess, truly, with his mop of white hair and his piercing blue eyes. Not to mention his parted, pink lips and his slightly exposed toned chest.
“You’re really out here pretending I don’t exist, huh?” There was that playful tone and that goddamned attractive smirk. With his hand moving to your lower back and his forearm resting on the trunk of the tree, you almost let out a swoon. “I was waiting for you to approach me.”
You turned your face away a little, only to a certain degree so he wouldn’t notice the heat on your cheeks. “That’s funny ‘cause… since that day, I’ve actually been waiting, too.”
“Hmm?” he tilted his head and deepened his gaze.
“I mean, waiting for an opportunity,” you clarified, releasing an awkward chuckle, “to talk to you and thank you. You’re just always surrounded by people, so…”
He straightened his posture as he pulled away and began nodding his head, as if he was connecting the dots in his head. “You can always walk up to me. Anytime,” he assured, “I’d actually love to know you more.”
You knew what everyone else might be thinking; ‘Seriously? You’re having a love affair in this situation?’
Well, if you were going to meet death, anyway, why should you settle being a miserable, lonely woman?
“You’re a miserable, lonely woman,” spoke one of the survivors in your cabin, Meredith, glaring at you with her arms crossed across your bunker. “That, or you just truly lost it.”
While she was laughing and moving her index finger in circles beside her head, the other survivor was decent enough to shush her, telling her to stop throwing insults towards you. “Quit doing that. She needs time to adjust,” said Shoko Ieiri, “It’s traumatizing out there, you know?”
“Yeah, but she still needs to help us with some errands here! We’re not living here for free. We have duties. Ugh… I’m so sick of cleaning the nasty toilets.”
“She’ll come around. Be patient with her.”
“She’s been here for two months! She can’t just stay in her bunker all day and do nothing!”
“Meredith—”
“Hey, lunatic!” her amber eyes bore into you. “Wake the fuck up and get your ass workin’. If you really wanna survive, you need to do your job.”
You took a deep breath and sighed. “Can I… Can I see Satoru first?”
Meredith let out a groan. “Here we go again.”
“Wh-Why?” you asked, frantically. “I just… I wanna talk to him. I wanna thank him for saving me.”
This time, it was Ieiri who sat at the corner of your bed, patting your back in a soothing motion. “Satoru is…” she hesitated. “He’s not here, Y/N. He never was.”
As if lightning struck your entire body. “What do you mean? What do you—? He was here. He was just talking to me last night!”
“I know, I know.” Ieiri sent you a look of sympathy. Sympathy that you didn’t really ask for. “I understand it’s been a difficult time. It’s been a really traumatizing experience, but trust me, everything’s going to be okay.”
You held onto her arms as tears pooled your eyes. All those voices in your head, the pain in your heart… “S-Stop. What are you saying, Ieiri? He was… He was with me.”
“He’s dead,” she said the very words you refused to hear. “He didn’t survive the first wave of zombies that infested our town.”
“But…” You shook your head in hard refusal. “But he was there, he rescued me.”
“It was Suguru who did,” Ieiri confirmed, reaching what appears to be a bottle of Fanapt pills under your pillow. “Satoru’s not with us anymore. I’m sorry. I’m sorry for your loss.”

goddd thinking about the way scary thought for a moment she genuinely killed link just like she was threatening to do and it actually destroyed her. like if she had killed him that would've been IT, the point of no return. taylor and normal were already pretty deadset on fighting her, there'd be no more forgiveness, and part of her craved that because link was the last person who still had hope in her- taylor never had it, normal's was killed after an episode's worth of bullying and then threatening his family, and if even link was gone, dead, scary could finally be free of the burden of having to know people care about her.
and that killed her. and it kills me.

I despise Draxum and look forward to the chapter where the consequences his actions catch up with him and he learns that it was HIS decisions that got him there. But DAMIT! Why does he have to be such a good father! Agrh!
I really feel bad for Splinter, I can already imagine what a self hating mess he will be (more than he already is) when Raph comes back I heard how Draxum was a much better father to his children than he was, Ignoring how Draxum had so many more advantages and didn't have to deal with four super soldier babies barely coming out of an abusive situation not to mention a new body.
I wondered if Draxum and Raph would argue over Splinter's parenting. Going back to the chapter of the fight between Draxum and Leo you notice Draxum's narcissistic side when he comments that they could have been a family if it wasn't for Lou running off with the babies like he did without once giving himself a thought that there might have been a reason why he did it. I mean, if you tell someone you're going to create children to use as weapons it's not uncommon to think that person will see you as a bad guy.
Oh, Draxum is under no illusions that he didn't cause all his own problems. Which just makes it all that much worse. He can yell at Leo and curse Splinter and lash out at everyone else, but ultimately he knows that he's there because of the choices he made. And he might argue that he didn't have a choice, that he had to do XYZ or else everyone was going to die anyway, but still.
Another thing, the 'good' timeline he proposes where Splinter didn't take the boys and they just all stayed a happy family forever-that's a fantasy and he knows it. He knows that there was no set of events that would have ended with him married to Lou Jitsu and raising their 4+ kids together in a happy little domestic setting. Lou Jitsu did not love him. He never would have approved of Draxum's plan, there was no magical set of words Draxum could have used to explain his reasoning that would cause Lou to accept what he was doing and consent to using his kids for it. He would have had to hide Lou and the existence of the boys from Big Mama-like, that's something a lot of 'Splinter and Draxum parenthood AUs forget, she would be tearing the city apart looking for him and would have drooled over getting her hands on his genetically enhanced, superwarrior children.
Even in a timeline where he solved these problems, he still would have been raising his sons to fight. Yes, he would have educated them and let them play and tried to raise them as well-rounded people who could find purpose and have lives after the war was done, but like-he'd still be watching his five-year-old sons run around karate-chopping each other and giggling and would suddenly be overwhelmed by the knowledge that this training would one day form the base of the killing machines they were supposed to be. That his sweet kids would one day be on the front lines of a war that had destroyed so many like them, that they'd kill and suffer and might even die for it. Even in his fantasy world, Draxum knows he would not have peace.

So, I was on the ship Wiki, and I'm wondering what your Crane ships are?
I stumbled on Scriddler and TwoCrow, and I couldn't help but peek at TwoRiddle, so now I'm thinking about TwoScriddler, and oh no.
I barely know these chars and yet here I am.
Now combine this with John barely speaking with his fam and... you got Danny showing up on his doorstep one day, and Crane may have forgot to tell his buds about it, and you've got a small mess.
Personally, if I had to ship Harvey with someone, it's Gilda or Bruce (or both) (Unless it's Batman Forever version, then definitely TwoRiddle cause HAVE YOU SEEN THEM!?)
But honestly? This made me thinking... (Long ass rant ahead that may or may not make sense. This is written while being sleep deprived)
Jonny boy here ain't the only one who suffered abuse as a child. Both Harvey and Edward have as well. They both have Daddy Issues while Jonathan, depending on how you interpret him or which backstory you use, have granny issues + religious trauma or also Daddy Issues.
That being said, Harvey gives me the "this family ends with me" vibes, especially after he became Two-Face, and may be put off with Danny's presence for a while. He doesn't want to continue the cycle and become his dad. He'd likely would have liked, at the very least, to have been informed about the new addition to their family so he can... Prepare essentially/get used to the idea/plan how to avoid Danny. He's... For the lack of better words, cautious/careful around Danny, as to not accidentally trigger himself by accidentally hurting the kid. Does this make sense?
It'll take a while for Harvey to relax around Danny but for sure, he's gonna be very protective, if because he's Jonny's kid at first. He'll come to adore the kid and while not see him as a son but like... Oh, who's he and Harv kidding, that's his kid now and too hell with a coin, fuck with one of his then you'd get instant death penalty with him as the Executioner.
Harvey is gonna try and teach Danny law, specifically how to use loopholes against the system and evade arrests and such cause what else is gonna try to do to bond with Danny? Man's life had always revolved around law... Though... there are times where he'd go into this sort of story mode, recalling his experiences with Danny. He's soft and distant here but this is his way to fully open up, if that makes sense.
Harv, on the other hand? Teaching Danny how the criminal world works. Kid needs to learn how Gotham works. Can't have him die (er- turn fully ghosts? Yeah, he and Harvey don't understand Danny's halfa nature but they try and are supportive... They can't help but be reminded of themselves actually-) or Jonny's gonna be beyond pissed in a whole new level. Is actually rather strict, makes sure to put ground rules and boundaries with Danny compared to the rest of the parental unit that is Twoscriddler. Someone has to be the strict parent... How he and Harvey are considered the functional parent here is cause they actually practice self-care, well to an extent anyways, compared to his idiot lovers who would go days on end without eating, drinking, or sleeping, if the chance rises.
Harv, though rarely, would go into story mode as well to Danny, but in his perspective. There are many times he and Harvey hate each other but... They lived and went through the same life. Just differently. He mainly does this after something especially happened with Danny, like say, Danny nearly got shot...
Now, Edward on the other hand... Really depends on the version but in my opinion, he'd be indifferent with Danny at first, if a bit surprised. Jonny, with a kid? Now, isn't that interesting. Would definitely grow very fond of Danny very quickly, and if he learns that Danny's good with inventing and such, he is, for sure, gonna nurture those skills.
Eddie boy is gonna drag Danny to his workshop so they can bond over building shit. Also, VIDEO GAMES CAUSE YOU CAN NOT TELL ME OTHERWISE THAT EDDIE'S NOT A GAMER! Gets too competitive, too loud, just overall chaotic fun with Eddie also rambling about shit in the process. Just, the two are fucking gremlins and fueling each other's chaotic streak somehow cause while Eddie is an adult very full of himself, he acts too much like a child when he's relaxed and not trying to maintain his dignified image even though everyone has at least witness his childish streak at least once (this including his tantrums/meltdowns...)
The fun uncle/dad that managed to help Danny feel like a normal kid he wasn't able to be exactly due to living with mad scientists (who wanted to kill him later on even if they didn't know it was him). Eddie boy would also definitely help tutor Danny. Just that he may get impatient or teaches things too fast. Best that Jonny's there helping with tutoring so it's better paced and not going overboard.
But uh- yeah, it's gonna be a bit of mess when Harvey/Harv entered the shared apartment and see a random kid in there (who both resembles Jonny in some ways and also has the right coloration to be considered Wayne bait AND OH BOY-) huddled in blankets. Eddie would likely just walk past Danny, and after a few moments, walks backwards and stare at Danny, processing, before getting Jonny or Harvey, before trying to maybe interrogate? Depends if he slept or was hyperfocused on a project in his workshop.

the whole maestro thing is so absurdly stupid bc there’s so much to it? like yeah the comically offensive prosthetic nose is bad but also so many jews (like non-white jews) don’t look stereotypically jewish!! so i guess bradley cooper can’t separate huge noses from his conception of jewish people to the point that he feels the need to wear a prosthetic nose even when it is inaccurate of the person and ethnoreligious group he is portraying
and also bradley cooper has portrayed at least one real person without prosthetics so why is the prosthetic so important now bradley??
and then its like there’s so few movies about jewish people/life (that aren’t trauma porn) that a goy making the movie is going to be disappointing especially when a jewish actor was fighting to make the movie.
and on top of that bradley cooper is literally just doing this for the oscar? he probably just saw the tár buzz and went “i can do that”
