the first thing that came to mind when i was shuffling the cards was that changkyun could be someone who's very private with his love life, for example, he prefers just being with his person in privacy instead of going out and meeting with others etc. he comes off as a homebody boyfriend to me, or even just preferring dates that are more remote. the hermit embodies patience and guidance which i feel is what changkyun would be like as a boyfriend, someone who is patient and loves teaching/guiding his person. the justice rx tells me that changkyun has a tendency to struggle with boundaries and can come off as "overgiving" or something of that nature. strength tells me that changkyun is happy to bear the burden of his s.o. and not tell anyone. 8 of cups rx indicates that changkyun can be someone who won't give up on the relationship even if it isn't working. he will do everything in his power to make the relationship work (his pisces venus:')). i think overall, changkyun can be said as someone who is extremely selfless, private, emotionally strong and someone who struggles with leaving, even though it is necessary.

the knight card represents loyalty, romance and chivalry and a love of honour. changkyun could be the type to be take pride in being the gentleman. even though his aquarius placements make him more unconventional in love, his capricorn mercury and aries moon makes him still place an importance on tradition and perpetuating certain gender roles. even though I feel changkyun is more liberal in that aspect and does not 100% subscribe to traditional gender roles, there is this innate feeling of need regarding him being the provider. i can also see him defending his relationship from others (if there is any criticism) and holding his relationship to the utmost importance. with his pieces venus, I do feel that he tends to go for partners that he can "fix" so he might feel obligated to be his person's knight in shining armour.

he looks for red flags and he’s paranoid about how much the other person really likes him, so that causes him to put unnecessary stress on the relationship. he’s definitely still hung up on someone from his past. he’s still trying to find someone he likes as much as her, to the point that even if he’s in a long term relationship currently, he’d be thinking “when will it feel like how it was with her again..”. and in an attempt to be there for people at their worst, he can put up with being treated pretty horribly by partners (not reciprocating his same love & care), and even rationalizes his mistreatment by thinking they’re just going through something and that he’s being supportive (the way he hopes they would for him during bad times). he really has a problem with letting people be really selfish with his money, energy and time. while he will end things once he realizes a person is truly selfish, he realizes too late. due to wanting such a deep connection, he can be a smothering partner - behaving too pushy and not giving the other person a chance to breathe. i.m is really desperate to be understood, he wants a girl that can get him like he wants to get her, but then still refuses to open up to her. it’s like he doesn’t get people can’t learn to know him if he refuses to tell them who he is. he puts more value on looks than he thinks he does, going after super pretty girls and just hoping their personalities will be compatible (or even improve) once they date. overall, he’s just really paranoid.

right now, i.m wants a very serious relationship. one where they feel safe with each other and they don’t mock or tease each other - mutually very supportive. he wants a really close relationship - to the point where other people might judge it or think it’s too much (maybe having each other locations on, or knowing passwords etc). he is looking for a very equal relationship, where they are both very giving but they don’t leech off of each other (so he wants a strong woman, sort of like a power couple, though he not really looking to dominate the business world or anything). he wants to spend A LOT of time with the person he’s dating (decorate their home together, travel together etc.). he wants a relationship where you go home to them after a long day and know you’re going to feel safe, supported and comforted. a peaceful and protecting relationship. he’s looking for a long term relationship.

DISCLAIMER this is a paid request by a costumer of ours. this post is not made with bad intentions, neither was their request. their curiosity comes from a past post of ours where they saw that he won’t be acknowledging his fs until his mental health and life improves. they want to know, so they can pray in a more meaningful way for him, to wish well for him. this reading is not meant to cause any kind of negativity. read this with a light heart, as a grain of salt. this reading is made public on their request.

🪻 how did his mental health change since we last read on it

three of cups, the empress

it actually seems to be improving in a slow but steady way as his supportive net became stronger. as in, he is spending more time with the people he loves and slowly opening up more and more. though, that seems to be more with friends and not with his family. though, he doesn’t seem to neglect his family either.

from his family, he seems to perhaps be spending more time with his mom or just older female relatives and having conversations with them that do help his mental health and help him have a better understanding of certain things!

he might have a hard time with understanding certain things in socialisation (for example, why xyz approaches him a certain way or just people’s intention in general.) due to past bad experiences, so sometimes hearing the thought of other people could “open up his eyes” a bit.

as for friends he could be making new ones or possibly just trying to improve his damaged friendships. apologising where he needs to, asking for apologies where he needs it. so, having heart to heart conversations and making sure to treat people well all while having fun. he seems to be trying to enjoy his youth in a more responsible way than previously.

🪻things his higher self wants him to know

first of all, his higher self wants him to be more open to ideas, different life views and to understand where people are coming from with a more open heart. there is a possibility these qualities are something that he had already had in the past, but due to circumstances and environmental issues he had outgrown them and became a more judgemental person.

of course, not because he has a bad heart or wishes bad on those who don’t deserve it. it’s more so about unlearning the pain and anger of his past hardships and possibly traumas. his higher self wants him to learn that not everyone who is good to him has secretly bad intentions or will hurt / betray him in one way or another sooner or later. currently that seems to be something he is struggling with quite a lot.

so, in other words there is a focus on his trust issues and being less judgmental so he doesn’t end up pushing people away that could actually be good for him, people he could actually get along with pretty well. he has this bad habit of gossiping when he is bored and believing rumours which follow by immense regret and immediate guilt.

the reason behind his higher self wanting him to improve these is because of two very important things. one being, this is a bad influence from a few people he currently surrounds himself with, old friends or possibly just people he thinks he can trust but they are really just fake friends and are in his life to use him in one way or another. so, his higher self doesn’t want him to have these regrets and accidentally mistreat someone who is actually important to him and wants good for him. which leads us to our next point.

he and his fs, although not polar opposites, are enough different to seem like it. leading to his higher self worrying about accidentally hurting them. it doesn’t seem like anything serious or malicious really. there just seems to be a lot of regret in his heart due to a few remarks or comments he has made / will make towards his fs due to pure ignorance. so, his higher self just wants him to learn to view things from different kind of perspective and think things through properly before speaking. it’s just to avoid hurting people he loves, is all. even if it’s just by accident.

so, before meeting his future spouse he needs to become a little bit more self aware and less naive. let lose of his bad habits. which, he will certainly be able to do to some extent even if not completely.

🪻his future love life

his future love life seems to be pretty good! it will help him move on from his past and heal him as a person. of course, love isn’t a tool to use when you feel bad or something that will immediately fix all your mistakes. it doesn’t work that way, and he knows that too. regardless the fact that his future fs will help him become a better version of himself is still something that is very obvious, by the cards that fell out at least.

he will learn how to follow his own moral code in a better manner, how to feel like himself and have an ease of mind. by the time he is in this relationship he will for sure have a better control of his anxieties and deal with his problems in a different manner than usual. in this relationship, he will feel very loved.

he will finally find someone that is able to love the way he needs it and he prefers them to, if that makes sense. same love language, same ideas on love and none judgmental pure love. perhaps even unconditional love is something he dreams of receiving as of now. to be loved regardless of anything.

he will pretty much experience it sometime soon. it will make him understand and realise that he is deserving of love and that it’s okay to make mistakes sometimes or live differently from other people in (his) life.

as of now, he could be judgemental in a sense that, “if they judge me, I will judge them too” but not from the heart. his fs will most probably help him let go of this mentality which will result in him having a healthier life and being more mature. so, his fs will bring balance in his life.

that being said, that is not everything their relationship will be,. this reading was focusing on his mental health so these are what I felt like are important to highlight.

i definitely don’t claim to know what’s going on behind the scenes or pretend to exactly understand anyone’s state of mind except my own... but doesn’t changkyun seem lighter these days? i think in general changkyun loves the stage and loves music, and you can always tell that. he’s always been happy when he’s out there under the stage lights all mic’d up. but this past promotional period he has seemed so relaxed and happy and comfortable like he has been GLOWING!! that impossibly charming silliness that sometimes shows itself has been spilling out of him!!! and it makes me so so happy because he deserves that! like doesn’t it do your heart good to see him thriving!!

i have such a soft spot for him for a myriad of reasons but one of them is that it’s because i know that so much of this job kind of goes. against his instincts?? alkf;alsk. changkyun is by nature, so reserved a lot of the time and a lot of an idol’s job requires you to have your on switch flipped at all times. he himself has talked about it, how it doesn’t seem like a job suited for him and yet... it IS his job and it DOES suit him. and in a lot of ways, i think how introverted he is helps at his job, in that he is able to expend his energy when needed and ride that high, and then knows how to regroup and recover within himself. he’s talked about the come down from the rush of being on stage and how it’s a peculiar and acute loneliness, and how actually, he doesn’t mind it. that it’s something that you need to feel.

changkyun is just so thoughtful and introspective. i think he’d be such a good conversation partner. from now on when people ask that icebreaker question that’s like. which three people dead or alive would you want to have dinner with... i’m naming changkyun as one of the answers. i really admire the way that he can sit with his emotions and acknowledge them, and at the same time, the way that he’s like. fake it til you make it!!! like. so true king. me too. sometimes you just have to keep telling yourself that you’re fine and you just keep saying it and keep saying it until it’s true.

he’s a bundle of contradictions. he gives off this cool and fierce image while being so, so sweet to the bone, the group’s resident romantic. he quietly watches his groups antics from the side except for when his goofy sense of humor bursts out of him. he cares fiercely, so fiercely about what his people think of him — and nothing at all for his naysayers’ words. he’s incredibly introverted but loves standing in front of the crowd under the spotlight. :):

i think all the time about how changkyun really maintains a strong sense of self in an industry where it can be really hard, really brutal to do so. here are the things that stand out to me, especially: he is considerate of others, and endlessly patient with those he cares about. (thinking of: him sleeping in his studio for kihyun’s solo debut to make sure he didn’t disturb the sparse amount of sleep kihyun was getting. the way he always indulges hyungwon when hyungwon asks him to check his eyes.) he was raised with an appreciation for music and art and it shows so clearly in his identity as an artist. and along with that, growing up in a few different countries when he was younger gave him maybe a more international mindset than he would have had otherwise. he is honest in his music. he knows his worth and will make the decision that’s best for him, even when those decisions may not come easily.

i’m so excited for the future for him. like changkyun, i also believe that good times and bad times must both exist, and that one will naturally follow the other. but i hope that for him the good times always last longer than the bad ones, and that inner light that’s been shining from him keeps on dazzling us all.

im changkyun!!! i admire who you choose to be every day!! i’m really proud of you and the way you’ve had your cake and eaten it too, leaving the company and staying committed to the group and the members you love so much. i can’t wait for your solo ventures to come, i can’t wait for the group activities to come, i just can’t wait to see what comes next. this year i hope you stay happy, stay smiling. i hope you keep on betting on yourself, because you will never, never lose when you do. with all the love and support, always. rooting for you, cheering for you. with you every step of the way.

a pretty easy going guy, accepting of how life works in general (“it is what it is”, “if it comes let it, if it goes, let it” mentality). he doesn’t try to control things that he can’t and doesn’t fret over it. i.m really seems to appreciate women, he thinks women deserve rights and truly believes they are equal to (and in some cases, better and stronger than) men. for ex, if he was with a woman richer or more famous than him, he would simply be very proud to be with her. he tries to understand the struggles women go through, he’s very understanding of even negative traits displayed by women (he doesn’t expect women to be perfect and understands we go through a lot). i.m is humble in a sense that he doesn’t think he’s better or worse than anyone else - “I’m just a regular human being, the same as anyone”. he is very individualistic and unique. he knows how to appreciate luxury without being materialistic. i.m wants to have a truly strong love and marriage where both parties are really good people to each other - he wants to grow with someone. he isn’t a jealous person - if people around him are smarter, funnier, more charismatic etc. than him, rather than being envious or jealous, he’s just happy to have that sort of energy around him (this is also because his self-confidence is strong enough to know that someone being funnier or smarter than him doesn’t make him unfunny or not smart). i.m tends to have a lot of faith in life and the universe to the point where when bad things happen he just thinks “it wont be like this forever” (so in this sense he has a very positive and optimistic outlook). he’s open-minded and may even try to educate himself on issues that happen in other countries, again a very accepting person (like it’s unlikely for him to be homophobic for example). I think he has a healthy relationship with sex. he is not a lazy person - just because he believe things work out like they’re supposed to doesn’t mean he’s lazy and only going to wait for good things to come to him, he knows he needs to put in effort so he still goes after what he wants. he has a positive view of and healthy relationship to family (it’s likely something he wants, and his appreciation for women likely comes from a good example set by his parents/his own mother or women he grew up around)

i.m can be a bit paranoid, untrusting and very distant. he is super closed off - he does not open up easily at all, when he does open up it’s pretty superficial. he can be bad at letting people know what’s going on with him - like he’ll tell you he ended up breaking up his gf, but you didn’t even know he had a gf in the first place (just the vibe of never fully knowing what’s going on with him). due to being so untrusting, he always wants to know way more about other people he meets before he’s willing to open up to them. he may even lie a bit to protect himself due to this (like if he gets the feeling that you’re prying way too much and not understanding that he doesn’t want to open up to you, he will lie to you to get you off his back.) i.m really wants a close relationship, but he fails to realize he can’t expect next level loyalty and devotion from a woman he refuses to even open up to (he struggles to understand equality/give and take in this sense). since he finds it so hard to trust people, he may even reach for red flags and cause arguments over things he’s made up in his head (“do you even really wanna be with me? I can’t tell.”), he will later realize he’s acted out and apologize, but it still kills the vibe and puts the other person unnecessarily on edge (even if he isn’t accusing them of super bad things). he just needs a lot of proof you’ll really be there for him before letting people in. and while he has self confidence, he can be overly confident (not necessarily arrogant), but he can have big and unrealistic goals due to his unwavering faith in the universe, i think it’s likely he even has a problem with actual gambling due to this. he can be a bit irresponsible overall due to his “sky’s the limit” mentality. I think he may also be stuck on a “first love” or “the one that got away” so it’s hard for him to let other women in.

There is some tension. I think these two are in separation, and one of them isn't liking it, but the other is none the wiser.

This friendship seems very childish and a little immature. The type of friends to pull pranks on each other. They could call each other just to hang up mid convo. Just super silly.

I feel like I.M is the one missing Shownu's company. While Shownu is completely clueless and just living his life (it's possible Shownu purposely cut communication with I.M to make him mad or mess with him).

There's just a vibe here of "they do this all the time." But this may genuinely upset I.M

Or so you think at least. The rest of the team loves you, especially since you always bring them plenty of food to feed them throughout practice (it pays to be a nutrition major) and always try to help out even though you’re not an official manager. But it’s no biggie, it’s not like Chan hating you bothers you, nope, not at all. But maybe you’d skip out on stopping by Seokmin’s practice for the week… Yeah that sounds like a good idea.
