music-related injuries I would have deemed unlikely to occur if I had not sustained them anyway, in order of increasing obscurity:

✅ stabbed by a mandolin string on more than one occasion

✅ stood up directly into a suspended cymbal

✅ run over by a sousaphone

✅ hit in the head with a theorbo

Hi my name is Sexy Redhead Maeðros Nelyafinwë Fëanorion and I have long coppery red hair (that’s how I got my epessë) with fiery orange streaks that reaches my mid-back (which is super far because I’m so tall) and eyes that burn with white fire within and a lot of people tell me I look like Mahtan Aulendur (AN: if u don’t know who he is get da hell out of here!). I’m close kin to Prince Fingon the Valiant but I wish I wasn’t because he’s a major fucking hottie. I’m a Ñoldo but my hair is red, not dark. I have ███ skin (and sometimes freckles depending on the author or artist). I’m also a general, and I command a border fortress called Himring in East Beleriand where I’m the leader of my House (I’m the oldest of seven brothers). I’m a son of Fëanor (in case you couldn’t tell) and I wear mostly red. I have complicated feelings about my brothers but I get all my vestments made by them. For example today I was wearing a red tunic with matching trim around it and red leather pteruges, black leggings and also riding boots. I was wearing a breastplate with the star of Fëanor tooled onto it, a copper circlet, a brace for my shoulder and a prosthetic hand my brother made. I was walking the walls of Himring. It was snowing and raining so there were unlikely to be any enemy incursions into the march, which I was very not unhappy about. A lot of Sindar stared at me. I put up my one remaining middle finger at them.

Not sure if you’ve mentioned this before but what was your gateway into obikin? For me it was a fic called Come Down From Your Holy Mountain and your fic time and tide

lol well so I hadn’t ever seen the prequels until 2020 but I’d seen gifs on my dash of both obiwan and Anakin from revenge of the sith obviously I knew what was gonna happen but I watched the phantom menace and got to where padawan obi-wan and little Ani met and I remembered all the soulmate AUs I’d read in 2013 where you touch your soulmate and get their name or glow or whatever and I was like that’s a story there’s a story there, later, that makes a good story.

Especially after, when qui gon gives Obi-wan to his knighting so he can train anakin, especially when qui-gon dies and obi-wan promises to train anakin instead. Thinking about all of that in the context of them being soulmates or them being destined to end up where I knew they ended up, it made me want to explore more!!

so I guess my gateway was a little weird but it was basically just looking at the two characters and thinking there’s a story there and then looking online to see what other people saw and then falling in love with seeing all the variations of the same story I saw!!

I just have a lot of feelings about Eliot Spencer managing to quietly give Parker and Sophie the perfect flowers for each of them in such a way that they would never suspect it was him. Just because he wanted to make them smile. And in the same episode he promises to cook for Hardison and knows enough about both wine and Hardison to immediately offer to help with his sommelier cover. And the whole episode starts with him just comfortably reading in the empty bar with Nate, quietly making sure the guy isn’t drinking by himself.

Eliot Spencer goes out of his way to take care of the people he loves and he LOVES his team and I’m simply never going to stop thinking about it.
