FIRST SALLY FACE POST!!! I know, I’m late to the fandom. But 🤷🏻 ya know…just some cute fluffy Sally Face headcanons about reader’s first kiss with Sal, Larry and Ash. Just can’t stop thinking about kissing them…🫠 ENJOY!

Honestly, I think he would have wanted to kiss you the day y’all met but…his face :( he’s too worried about his face

Whether yall are dating, just friends, pining hard asf for each other…you will have to initiate the kiss.

You’ll def have to have a conversation about it first, ask his permission and prepare him for it. He’d prefer you ask him/tell him before just pouncing on him.

If you decide you want to kiss him on his prosthetic tho, LITERALLY NO NEED TO ASK, JUST. DO. IT. BABY. He’s been dyingggg to have you kiss his face, even if it’s not his skin, he still feels the kiss, feels his gut drop…feels his hands and feet become hot and tingly with excitement. Kisses over his prosthetic make him smile so hard.

When you finally do get to your first lip-to-lip, no prosthetic kiss, SALLY IS SHAKING IN HIS BOOTS. Maybe you’ve already seen his face, maybe even traced a finger along his scars before…but KISSING?!?? He’s so fucking nervous. And you are, too.

You really had to work up the courage to ask him but you finally do. It goes something like…

“Hey, uh, Sal? Can I kiss you?”

“Sure.”

“On…the lips?”

“Oh, heh. Sure.”

“……like…without your prosthetic?”

and he starts SWEATING under his prosthetic as he mumbles a shy “o-oh, okay. C-cool. I’m down.” Internally, he’s excitedly punching the air rn. Externally, he’s shaking like a leaf.

He’s honestly so worried you’ll be scared and/or grossed out by the parts of his lips and cheek that are missing and revealing his teeth. He worries he might drool on you a bit too…just praise this sweet boy after the fact, okay?

“Hey, uh, Sal?”

“Hm?” He responded as he fiddled with the knobs at the top of his guitar, gently plucking the strings and then twisting the knobs accordingly. It took you literally like 5 minutes of staring at him and hyping yourself up in your mind to even open your mouth and say his name. After his short response, you felt you needed another internal pep talk before you said anymore. This strange pause made Sal look over at you. He looked back to his guitar and then did a double take at you, just to make sure he actually saw you staring at him. His room became suddenly silent.

“Can I kiss you?” You finally spit it out, looking him dead in the eye as the words leave your mouth. He seems chill about it, his eyes relaxed, his shoulders slowly shrugging as he leaned back on his bed more. “Sure.”

You take a quick but deep breath, your cheeks beginning to feel hot. You could feel your blush slowly spreading. “On the lips, I mean…” He’s still keeping his eyes on you and you can tell he’s smiling a bit from the way his eyes squint and slightly wrinkle at the corners, his prosthetic covering his actual smile. “Heh, yeah. Sure, (Y/N).”

At this point, it’s almost painful how embarrassed you are and you’re sure you probably have a really stupid look on your face. Shit…this is not going as smooth as you’d like it to.

“Like……with the prosthetic off.” You say bluntly, watching for any sign of a reaction from him. His eyes fell open wider, leading you to believe he was no longer smiling, but maybe had his mouth hanging open in shock? It takes him a moment to process it and respond.

“O-oh! Right uh…c-cool. Yeah, sure.” He lets out a shaky sigh before pushing his guitar off his lap and to the side of his bed. As he reaches behind his head to unclip his prosthetic, you just watch and feel yourself becoming increasingly warm and tingly, your nerves really getting the best of you right now.

His prosthetic falls gently from his face onto his bed. He closes his eyes immediately and leans in quick, hoping you won’t look at his face too hard and change your mind. You can’t help but smile as you watch him for a second before your eyes close and you lean towards him. Your lips meet his and it’s…not what you expected at all. But in a good way! His scarred lips are actually really soft, he must put chapstick on often. And he’s so gentle. It’s just really warm and soft and sweet and the kiss is lingering but very still.

You pull back to see him smiling ever so slightly, his eyes still closed. The smile slowly becomes a frown which becomes a quivering bottom lip. Sal still has his eyes closed as he silently cries. He then spends the next few minutes very quietly telling you about the time he watched some lame romance movie with Larry and asked him if he thought someone would ever love him like that and Larry told him he totally would.

Larry was totally right.

LARRY JOHNSON 🤘🏽

Larry most definitely asked you if he could kiss you. He’s like really fucking into you but also he’s such a gentleman. He’s very considerate and would for sure ask for your consent first.

He’s probably tried to ask you at several different times but he always chickens out. He’d always start by saying your name to get your attention. Then you look at him, your expression is always one of expectation and wonder. He can’t bring himself to say what he really wants to, so it’s always like…

“Oh uh, sorry. Lost my train of thought.”

“Does it smell weird in here to you?”

*insert shitty pun here* (always makes you laugh and makes Sal groan)

You find it very cute that he says your name so often. It sounds nice paired with his small lisp.

I JUST KNOW that this boy practices what he’s gonna say to you in the mirror like literally every morning. He’ll stand at the bathroom sink, talking to himself. Most the time, he thinks he’s doing good until it dawns on him that he’s talking to himself in a mirror. Then he’ll just facepalm, sigh and continue on with his day, knowing he’s such a chicken shit.

One time, Sal was going to the basement to show Larry some cool shit he’d found on the fifth floor of the apartments and he froze just before he knocked on the bathroom door. He heard Larry, repeating the same thing over and over.

“(Y/N), can I please kiss you?”

“Please let me kiss you…”

“Would it be okay if I-“ *frustrated sigh*

Sal finds it equally hilarious and endearing to witness. He definitely didn’t tell Larry that he heard all of that tho.

Finally, one day, Larry found himself in the perfect position to finally say what he wanted. He called up the whole group and invited everyone to his place to chill. Everyone was on board…until Ash canceled to finish up some homework and Sal canceled bc he forgot he told his dad he’d be home for dinner.

A group hang out turned into a sort of date for you and Lar Bear.

“Damn, what a bunch of losers! How dare they blow us off for homework and family!” You jokingly declare, making Larry look over at you with a toothy grin. “No, really!” He agrees, trying to offer you a genuine smile but he…sort of feels like he has to puke right now. He’s always had a weak stomach. And you make him extra nervous.

The two of you sat in the treehouse, both sitting on the floor across from each other. The room would be silent now were it not for the heavy metal music playing lowly in the background. You didn’t feel awkward though, not at all. It was actually nice to enjoy some peace and some music with your crush friend. Larry kept looking frantically between you and his feet, his breathing speeding up as he readied himself. Right as he opened his mouth-

“Hey, I forgot I-“

“(Y/N), I wanted to-“

You both stop simultaneously and then you both start laughing. “You first.” You say in unison, making you both laugh even harder. “No no, you first, (Y/N).” He insists, holding his stomach from laughing so hard.

So you start, “I forgoootttt I got you something.” You turn and reach into the bag you brought along with you and pulled out a plastic package with a set of paint brushes inside, sliding them across the wood floor to him. “Saw these at the dollar store and thought maybe you could use some more. They’re…well, from the dollar store so they probably suck but…” You shrug and watch as he picks them up. It’s such a small simple thing but…he’s so flattered. Youre so nice. Instead of thanking you or showing any gratitude, he just…

“Can I kiss you?” And you don’t even give him an answer. You just crawl over to him and smush your lips into his. You’re smiling into the kiss, leaning forward on your hands as one of his big hands reaches up and rests on your cheek.

He brings you a painting of a pretty landscape on regular white paper the next day. He’s sure to tell you that he used the brushes you got him and that they are actually pretty good for dollar store brushes.

And then she waits until the best part of the movie, when you’re really invested in the plot and not expecting it-

She says your name in a breathy voice and as you turn your head to face her… 💋💋💋

Also doesn’t even bring it up to the boys until a couple days later. Says it very lowkey but she’s totally bragging.

“Oh my god. This movie is actually so sad.” You sniffled a bit as you watched the flashing colors on Ash’s TV in front of you. She laughed softly into her hand, watching you get teary eyed. “Aww, you’re such a softy, (Y/N)!” Ash nudged you playfully, making you laugh along with her.

Ash’s parents had gone to bed already and just you two were awake in her home, both curled up on the couch under the same blanket. Just being under the same blanket made you both so nervous. She kept stealing glances over at you, her smile never leaving her face. You were too into the movie to notice.

Ash pulled the blanket up on herself a bit more, the edge of it now sitting right under her chin. Her hand very slowly crept closer to yours, the whole time she was holding her breath. As soon as her pinky touched yours, you stiffened and she finally exhaled. You tried to keep your eyes on the TV and not look over at her with red cheeks, all embarrassed with heart eyes for her. But that’s exactly what she wanted.

She wrapped her pinky around yours, gently tightening the grip she had on you. Then very quickly, almost too quickly, she pulled away. You wondered what that was supposed to mean. Was that like…a flirty thing? Or a “you’re my bestie” type thing? Or a romantic thing? Or just nothing at all?

Before you could get too deep into your thoughts, she softly cleared her throat before saying your name. It wasn’t a whisper, you could clearly hear her over the TV, but her voice was so low and whispy and her breath smelled sort of minty (as if she was fully prepared for this moment).

As you turned your head, your lips brushed against hers, your noses slight bumping together. She was so still, so calm and relaxed, like she’d rehearsed this moment over and over again. You on the other hand…are taking a moment to grasp the situation here. You sort of just kissed, not fully but kind of by accident. Was that an accident or…? No, why would she be this close to you if it was an accident-

Ash is about to laugh at you and your expression but stops herself. She can tell you’re flustered and confused but also very into this. She smiles with adoration for you, her eyes nearly shut as she leans in. Okay, now you’re sure that was definitely not an accident. You suck in a breath and let your eyes fall shut just as her lips finally rest onto yours. A soft hum vibrates through her as she pushes into the kiss just a tiny bit more.

As you part, the soft kiss noise the two of you make is enough to make you both lose it. Ash is now completely hidden under the blanket, her stomach doing flips as her face continues to burn bright red. She’s laughing, you’re laughing. Finally, she speaks up from her hiding place under the covers.

“Was…that okay?” She asks, seemingly much more shy now. This makes you smile even bigger as you pull the blanket up to join her under it. “Oh yeah! Totally. I…I liked that.” She seems to perk up a bit at your reply, now looking over at you in the shadow of your blanket fort.

“We can do it again. If you want…”

he’s neutral about most bugs. he’ll pick up critters like beetles and caterpillars with his hands and set them outside

gets grossed out by the nastier bugs though. won’t touch ‘em himself, they’re lucky if he can gather himself enough to get a paper and cup. otherwise it’s swatter time with gritted teeth and barely mustered courage

SPIDERS. HOWEVER.

certified spider hater. absolutely terrified of them get out of here!!!

he'll use a swatter, pesticides, everything. but he’s so afraid of how they disappear when he’s not looking

you’ll have to keep an eye on it while he finds the pesticide or vice versa

if he’s unfortunate enough to be the one to kill it you’ll have to hype him up, calm his nerves, and then tell him it’s okay once the deed is done

this guy… easily the worst of both units at bug duty. you might just have to take the bullet

he gets sketched out by even the cute ones like butterflies and ladybugs if he looks at them for too long. there’s no way he could even take a moth with a level head

he even reacts to all of them the same. “AAAAH! T-t-there’s a [BUG NAME] in [room name]!”

even so he tries to be nice to them with a cup and paper, or some other method to get them out of his space

unfortunately australian wildlife has prepared him so smaller bugs are still scary but he’ll be a big scared scary mafia boss and take action

and everyone says they’ll leave the house as a joke if they can’t find the spider but it’s luca. there is a solid chance that he will invite you to stay with him in one of the kaneshiro vacation homes for about three days. that’s enough time for the bugs to leave, right?

is rather delighted at bug!

honestly if it’s a cool bug he might just take a video of it doing its thing and give it a personality!

he has a out-of-sight, out-of-mind philosophy with bugs. he’s fine with just about anything as long as they aren't annoying

harmful pests will get swatted tho ofc

everything else, he’s fine with bringing outside himself without much fanfare

some of them are a little creepy but he tries to rationalize it. they’re just tiny animals and he’s a big strong sorcerer, it’s fine. what are they gonna do, infest him to death?

…he’s going to spray the house down later just to be sure.

a wild card. and also VERY emotionally invested in any bugs that come his way whether that’s good or bad

if they manage to sneak up on him he’ll probably yell “WOAH” or curse out of surprise, then figure out whether he should be scared or not

surprisingly fine with the nastiest of them. he actually loves worms, centipedes and similar critters, and he’ll even admire them if they stumble into his territory

“look reader this is me if i were a worm. would you still love me if i was a worm 🥺” “vox please just get that thing outside”

spiders have a 50-50 survival chance. he’ll kill small spiders but bring the big ones outside because the big ones are like full Animals to him and slaughtering animals is not something he can bring himself to do (tiny ones don’t count)

are scorpions bugs? do they count? either way that’s his one objection. he wouldn’t touch them with a ten foot pole if he had the choice, but if you’re really that scared, then he’ll put on a brave face and hide his fear

if he’s going to take care of a bug you need to make peace with the fact that he will whine the entire time

not a cute fun whine either. he’ll complain the entire time that it’s gross and nasty and ewww yuck ugh!

and that’s just for beetles and caterpillars

show him a spider or something else just as creepy and he will actually scream

and yell as he fumbles around to take care of it

and yell as he eventually grabs it with his hands (he’s panicking a little too hard to get a tool)

and yell as he tries to open the door and throw it outside

this is assuming he doesn’t find a slipper nearby. if he has a tissue or something he’ll smash the bug over and over until it’s pulverized

and he’ll STILL be yelling while he does that

the job gets done but at what cost

he’s not a 6/10 because he dislikes bugs. he’s neutral towards them, not really creeped out by them but not a fan either

he’s a 6/10 because he’s a dick about taking care of them for you

here’s how it usually goes: you summon him to save you from a creepy crawly. he’ll inspect it and go “really, you’re scared of that little thing? look at it closer, it’s just a bug”

and once he quits fooling around he just swipes it up. his fingers are solid steel which allows for Precise Bug Snatching

but he’ll act unsure and go “i think i got it. here, reader, look inside my hand and tell me if you see it”

or even the dreaded move where he pretends he’s bringing the bug closer to you so you have to see it

and THEN once he’s outside he’ll open his hands and go “wait i think i lost it” just to get a rise out of you until he confirms yes, it’s safe and out of the house

if you’re legitimately terrified then he doesn’t even bother with the jokes. just point out the bug and close your eyes, and he’ll be washing his hands while you stare back at a smudge on the wall before you can even get out a sentence

🔗 Sonny Brisko: 8/10

somehow both a gentle soul and a complete menace

he's very matter-of-fact when you point them out. "it's just a little jumping spider, no big deal ¯\_(ツ)_/¯"

in fact he's almost adorable with how he quietly talks to the bugs and coaxes them to crawl on his hand so he can get them out of your way

and then he prods and begs you to take a picture of the bug bc it's a cool little guy

surprisingly knowledgeable and can identify bugs easily, so once he's got one in his hands he'll show it to you and tell you some facts about it

which is very sweet except for the fact that it's still a nasty bug and you want it out of your face!

he'll lightly tease you over being so scared of a little bug while he takes them outside. and if it's a pest-eater like a spider he'll hide it in a dark corner out of your sight

overall very kind to bugs and thinks they're friendly

which is why it throws you so hard that sometimes after he coos over them he just FUCKING SMASHES THEM IN HIS PALM?

NO HESITATION AT ALL??

WHAT IS HIS PROBLEM???

also when the bug is taken care of he'll sneak behind you and lightly tap his fingers up your arm like a creepy-crawly and then laugh when you get scared. what a shithead

🔮 Uki Violeta: 15/10

the very essence of "i'm not locked in here with you, you're locked in here with ME"

it's like watching a cat hunt an unaware mouse. he's so quick about it

and he's so good at it too?? he'll find the bug, swat it, and throw the remains away in less than a minute on a good day

doesn't even act like it's a big deal either, he just goes back to what he was doing before you asked for help

he uses tissues or shoes on the big ones like roaches, but anything small, he's surprisingly good at crushing them with his bare hands. this is especially funny when he has acrylics on bc those nails never get dirty nor in the way

spiders get the relocation pass, and he'll insist they stay inside, just out of sight

non-zero chance if you complain about it, he'll go on a lecture about how spiders are how you prevent other pests from invading the house

honestly you only see this side of uki once. the bugs are too scared to show their faces after this stint

LOL listen to me i saw everyone theorizing abt taylor announcing 1989tv and i took it 0% seriously and then I log onto tumblr and the first thing i see is the 1989tv album cover and I legit thought this is a v nice fan edit, it would be a cool album cover! Good job tumblrinas! And lo and behold she actually did announce it and that's the official album cover (I still think it's v nice). BUT tbh i personally think this insane pace at which she releases new work (re-record but still, new album) really cheapens the albums. It's rampart consumerism at its finest, everything fast fast fast and you can't even take the time to ejoy the latest release because she's already onto the next thing and it conditions your brain to also just, not enjoy things. speak now tv *just dropped* and now we're all onto the next thing (for better or worse). I really think it takes away so much from the value of her art as a whole. u release so much stuff that as soon as you release something it immediately becomes whatever, gotta jump on to the next hype train fast, even if unintentionally. I wish she would just take a break, take longer between things. Let eras have a moment, let each album have its own moment, let me live in it a little. (Also this very much screams to me "i'm keeping busy to avoid dealing with some stuff" but that's another story. It's a pace nobody can keep up with honestly, I hope she takes care of herself despite everything)

what i’m saying is that… i think i’m a 30 year old kpop fan living in a body of a 18 year old. i never feel connected with people my own age and only people older or has the same mindset as me…

that explains why i think gen 4 is crap and love groups such as shinee, 2ne1, snsd, b.a.p, etc- also does anyone else knows about 1tym and se7en or is it just me?

idk what is up with me? whenever someone talks to me about itzy or newjeans, i literally turn into a grandpa. why am i yapping about how much kpop was much better during the 2012 era when the hype went up. also, 2009 was truly the best year for me. i want to sing hug by dbsk now. i wanna be a kpop idol so i would need to cover this song. also i screamed over mirotic mv. also, my bias is jaejoong. yes i know about jyj and was sad for them. honestly they were better as 5 but they could still be a sexy ass duo group. i do wish it was just a sub unit tho…

I mean it's understandable, a lot of people feel more related to generations before them. I'm actually a weirdo for feeling like I was born at exactly the right time for me. Though being a teen in the 90s and 00s looked really cool. But not for me. As an almost 30 kpop fan I know exactly what time you're talking about and it was definitely a great time in kpop. Even 3rd gen which NCT is a part of feels so different than now. But it's just normal to like what you like cause things are different and it's okay to not like the changes. I personally prefer older girl groups except blackpink, I love blackpink even then I think blackpink is 3rd gen. But you don't have to like any of the newer groups it doesn't determine your status as a kpop fan. Just like what you like and it's fine. Jaejoong is my bias too. And I remember the whole ordeal with JYJ, and i'm sad they went through hell trying to get out of their contracts. But i am happy they got out of it and even though they most likely didn't want to leave Changmin and Yunho. They did what was best for them and that's really all that matters.

so excited for all this zac content! the puppy interview ahhh.

but mini rant abt the variety article. aside from the cute photos i’m high key bummed about it. i look forward to longer articles bec we get more content but like they always do this SIGH. i feel like these bigger pieces want to always paint this breaking free from the shackles of childhood stardom thing ugh. but this article also went on to be like he hasn’t had major successes recently?? and like the beer run movie and the ted bundy mv etc didn’t do well?? that’s so silly (fine maybe they didn’t get oscars but like they were incredible). i feel like yes ofc it can touch on his hsm roots etc but talk more about his range! tbh i’m so tired of the silly cover stories they do and they all end up asking the same q’s and ending with the same tone. i mean he specifically has said he’s not taking dramatic roles to drastically escape troy bolton and yet that’s all they ever imply he’s trying to do… they can literally just talk about his range why do they have to make it into such a dramatic divorcing from disney kinda thing.

i think the rake article was a bit better tho but also there’s so much potential for intervieews. yes, i know their readers aren’t super fans and need context but i feel like 99% of their articles can be written without the person even present lol. so what are they even interviewing them for?

honestly i feel like we the fans should be allowed to write a proper article about our idols and ask them actually meaningful q’s. like damn i’d like to ask him life advice q’s and get his insight - not rehash his time in rehab for the 1550th time. same with vanessa’s interviews. some are interesting but most of the time they do the same with her - talk about her personal life and then write about how they think she’s distancing herself from her hsm days and child star days - again i’d be so curious to hear about other stuff like she always talks about ghost stories or even books she’s read. there’s so much more depth with them and interviewers waste valuable time they have with someone so cool asking silly q’s.

also press interview questions can get so repetitive haha they should have a way to not ask the same q’s and everyone ask a diff one.

sorry for the rant - i’m definitely still hype for all the contenet and will take my idols answering the same q in a hundred diff ways if i have to haha but also just feel journalists/press could do better. :)

Aww Alice you're so sweet ty 🥺 I haven't had a lot of free time to come and just talk to people but my 5 week class ends tomorrow (!!) and I did a ton of work for my internship (bc yes I have the 2 classes along with 2 jobs 😭 perhaps my absence is a little more justified) so I think I'll be able to relax for a few hours today :) my roommate and I are planning to watch another episode of iland today and I'm HYPE I'm really falling for everyone again soooo much also DID YOU KNOW ABOUT THE JAPAN GROUP SHOW??? I just found out that it's actually going to be a show omg 😭 I looked at all the trainees and they're so young oh my gosh my friend jokingly (or not) said she wanted to drive the youngest home from school and stop to get ice cream on the way jfjsjsms I'm assuming it'll be some sort of a survival show but I haven't looked into the details but I'm EXCITED 🤩 I've missed K and Taki and Nicholas and EJ so much!! Although I'm wondering if they'll even be on the show since they are guaranteed spots?? Either way I can't wait to have my heart ripped out 🥰🥰 and honestly upper side dreamin' is such a VIBE I really love it 🤩 I can't wait for their new comeback!! It's going to be awesome!!

so since i got my HOUSE WHAT WHO IS SHE i decided to revisit all the places i’ve decorated and do a little tour/bts explanation for all of them because ?? i feel like it, anyway LOTS of pictures and uninteresting text under the cut

so my room in the fc house (famfrit LB w22p33) isn’t the first fc room i ever had but it shares a lot of similarities with what i did in the first one, which also doesn’t exist anymore. also i should preface this by saying that i’m not a fancy house person, i don’t do all their little tricks because honestly, i don’t have the patience for it, plus i’m on console and when i tell you even placing things normally on console is a real fucking chore sometimes. amanda does some really neat and creative things and knows her way around housing and i commend her for that, seriously you should check out some of the things she’s done. meanwile the most i ever do is putting wall-mounted items where they shouldn’t go and once i floated an actual piece of furniture (you’ll see) and it was such a pain that i’m never touching that item again, it’s there until the heat death of the universe, and i have no interest in repeating the process anywhere else!

anyway the fc room. i made this when i was really getting to know the system on a basic level, for example i believe i got the idea for the partition door from amanda because i didn’t actually know what kind of furnishings there were lmao. the theme here is basically like fairy forest, which was what i was initially planning to do for my house if i ever got one (five years later........)

here’s the little entrance area. as you can see i use this place to put seasonal items and whatnot as well because hwy hnot.

and this is the upstairs! cozy lofts are a bit of a signature move for me but as mentioned above i don’t like floating furniture--this bed is the one time i did it. but i think it turned out cute and with the vibe i wanted in the end so overall, thanks past me for the struggle.

i helped with the fc house itself but the vast majority of the work was done by amanda, i mostly helped with idea generation and crafting, so i shan’t be taking credit for her work. it’s dope tho. the theme there (as requested by lesbian overlord noodl) is cult and amanda really nailed it.

so then i was sad about probably never getting a house so rose offered to let me decorate hers (hype LB w23p29) since she had never really done it up. i decided to go full fairy on it, as i’d always wanted (while i was working i left what angel wakes me on loop). this means for materials plants, flowers, wood, and as little metal as humanly possible, and the colors are, like in the room above, mostly green, brown, and pink. they’ve actually released a few new items since i did this that would fit the theme super well so i maaaaay go back and tweak a bit, as it is now i believe i’ve used every available items space though.

her house is on such a cool plot!! it’s got its own little bridge and it’s right by a big waterfall. S-tier.

so for the yard i really wanted it to feel overgrown and wild and mysterious, and thanks to some big-ass trees i think i really managed it despite the incredibly limited inventory space for yards. i knew i’d achieved it when grave came by for a visit and went “HELP I’M LOST.” exactly the reaction i wanted. out of the three yards i’ve done, this is the one i’m most satisfied with.

so this inside area on the first floor took quite a bit of work because it involved putting wall-mounted things where they don’t belong, including the simple need to sometimes turn the staircases around so they face the right way because for some godforsaken reason you can’t simply rotate them. i have sort of mixed feelings on how it turn out. i like what i did with the fountain. i kind of wanted to put more stuff like flowers on the lofts but i ran out of inventory space. i dunno i kinda just wanted to do something a little interesting while still leaving it easy to move around in (which is part of what took so fking long, finding the right place for everything so nothing was blocking the door or too low in the middle of the room), so this is what i came up with.

downstairs is where i REALLY went ham.

in the first area there it’s pretty simple, with of course the return of the signature cozy loft, and the bells tucked away below it.

behind the pink door is a little parlor area and you start to really understand how i ran out of inventory space. there are little details all over that aren’t necessarily obvious but i think make a difference overall.

and last but not least, the bedroom, because rose is a sleepy overworked girlie who needs a place to lie down sometimes. the good thing about this place not being real is that if it was, her allergies would be too bad for her to actually ever go near it.

next is the hype fc house (hype shiro w25p14) which ofc xae took pity on me and got after my 87th lottery loss. i just posted pictures of it here recently so that’s why it seems familiar, but i thought i’d go into a little more detail. as i probably said before, the theme here is tropical/beachy. i’m pretty positive this is the most expensive place i’ve ever done. there are some absolutely outrageously expensive items in here.

you can tell right away that xae picked the plot because i’m being photobombed by the market board. we ended up going with these exterior walls because obviously we both liked them, plus the design takes up more yard space which means working with the limited inventory is a bit easier, PLUS i was unaware at the time that everyone else in our ward was going to use them too. (you can even see one such, who also painted it green, right behind us in the above picture. one time i walked into our neighbor’s yard and was SO confused before i realized i was at the wrong house because as you can see in the background below, it is ALSO these walls painted green.)

(oh my goodness the stable is so dirty DON’T LOOK AT IT i’m not on the account that can clean it!) this yard was much harder to do because as you can see i didn’t have any big bulky trees to work with. i really wanted a lot more painted gravel sand and would have happily covered the entire yard with it if i could, but as it is i had to be satisfied with a little bonfire area by the hot tub (which is part of the walls). overall i’m decently pleased with this, i think i did the best i could with what i had.

this is the top floor and obviously the real star of the show is the money elephant, who is my king. again i would have loved to cover this place in sand but there kind of isn’t anything i know of for that so what i decided to do was lean into the fact that this is indoors and go with primarily mixed wood. this room might not look like much but it cost several million (the money elephant alone was over 3mil). also this is the beginning of another signature move, abuse of the waterfall partition. they’re hard to see here but there’s water running down the foliage on the walls and i think it looks dooooope. this is also how i found out you are capped on how many of each individual item you can put in a space, and that the cap for waterfall partitions is 20. i made it work.

let’s head downstairs.

ah! here are all the other waterfall partitions. believe it or not, i’m not actually at total capacity for items in this place. i’m still miffed bunny boys aren’t an option for your housing npcs so i went with cute cat girls instead. you may notice the bottom large tank in the corner is still empty, because i will accept nothing less than the coral manta. have i tried getting one, you ask? to which i answer, how dare you speak to me. also, there is a lack of cozy loft. i experimented with one but couldn’t really figure out what to do with it. anyway that’s why there are flagstone lofts on the ceiling in the back, because again, those were so fucking expensive and once they became market prohibited i was going to use them anyway no matter what. to be honest i would love to cover this whole ceiling in those, and i probably have the space for it, but god they’re so expensive and i already sunk so so SO much (of xae’s) money into this place. maybe some day if they drop in price. behind the medium fish tanks under the flagstone lofts is a little backstage area that’s not meant for people to go in, where i put the bells and orchestrion. secrets.

anyway now that there’s a house i abandoned luna’s apartment that i was mainly using as storage (didn’t even get my deposits back) and built her a room here instead. the reason that i a little bit love how this turned out is my color choice, it’s just so rich and vibrant. not really a theme here, but i was a bit inspired by the hannish rug and wall lamps, so a lot of saturated red, blue, and gold. also, the haptic feedback from walking on the tatami flooring is sooooo satisfying.

the entrance area.

this is the room behind the trick bookcase. if it seems like i didn’t really know what to put here that’s because i didn’t and still don’t. also you can’t see it because i guess it counts as an npc but there’s a mannequin just plopped down in front of the fish tank because i was using it to pass money between accounts and i guess i forgot to put it away.

this is the area opposite that room, including a little bathroom that is so small it is very hard to actually get a camera angle for a decent picture. also yes that is an icebox in the corner, yes it was unnecessarily expensive, yes i can open it to reveal frozen idk fish or something, but it was the perfect size for what i wanted so now it’s a bathroom cabinet and we simply never open it.

ROTSCL (return of the signature cozy loft). this area probably took the most time, moving the fish tank up and down, moving walls, finding a way so that the fish tank didn’t block the bathroom door but was still visible, i make it look easy but really trying to find the right combination of items and placement was DIFFICULT. the fish tank is still partially obscured by the chandelier but i like the chandelier too much to change it and ultimately i decided it was gOOD ENOUGH NOW.

and then a couple of boring angles leading to the bedroom. naturally on the most important one here i appear to have forgotten to turn on the photo mode lighting but i do not feel like going back and retaking it. there’s not a lot of detail anyway, it’s just a nice little room.

and now... finally... for the new house.

it is at the best plot in the game (i don’t make the rules). i didn’t take a shot from an angle to show it but it is right at the beach by the dock, the marketboard is just behind where i took the picture from, and the housing npcs are all right behind/below me. it’s super convenient, has a great view with no other houses blocking it, and is not crowded by anything else. SS-tier. godly. again, the best plot in the game.

before we proceed, i think my plaque is pretty good (famfrit mist w19p36 as per):

yes it is listed as a haunted house. no i don’t care if people think that means it’s some kind of immersive experience.

so for the theme here, it’s a bit similar to the fc on hype in that it’s also ocean-related, but it’s like the difference between a warm beach and a cold beach. i was heavily inspired by the grebuloff area in the omicron quests because the minute i saw it i knew i had to try to emulate it somehow.

i’m a little iffy on the yard. i love that entrance walkway, but i think the sides look kind of dark and barren by comparison, especially on the left. now, you might be thinking, chelle, do you really need two of those bridge-and-pond setups, you might be able to do something else with that space, to which i answer, those bridges were expensive and i’m not going to just chuck one into storage to gather dust (i may end up doing that. but i don’t WANT TO AAH). anyway, i’m still tweaking it--i just added the striking dummy yesterday in fact, but for now this is what it is. i have some ideas for what i might change but ugh, no SPAYCE. anyway, let’s go inside, where you’ll find some coffee and tea and a message book right by the door.

each floor has kind of a different quality to it. the ground floor is kind of like, you’re underwater but it’s not deep. this is the one i most wanted to look like the grebuloff area, apart from the yard anyway. while in rose’s house and the hype fc house i used a lot of dark wood and vibrant colors, here i wanted to use mostly white stone, particularly marble, and more simple greenery. i was also kind of channeling my favorite sonic level, the aquatic ruin zone from sonic 2. i didn’t actually consult any pictures of it directly other than the ones in my head but i think that’s why i ended up with as much plant life as i did. also there were a couple other fish tank trimmings that fit the theme better but neither had a background and i didn’t like how much blank dark wood that left splayed against the back wall. the reaction i get the most from this room is “wait, are these TABLES?” (the answer is yes.)

upstairs is the living area. if some parts look familiar, no they don’t. i have to point out the chandelier to everyone who comes by because it think it’s so dope. it looks so stupid and nothing in the thumbnail because for some reason that’s from a mostly top-down angle, but in action i think it’s one of the coolest chandeliers in the game and because it has marble, light blue, and green plants, fits this theme like a glove. so this area is a little more surface-like than downstairs, like maybe just on the shore or right below the water. i also had more than twice as many of those planter shelves crammed with knickknacks and i liked how it looked but it ate up like 20% of my entire inventory space for something that was kind of not really that noticeable since it’s so close to the ceiling. anyway i took down a bunch and i guess i still think it looks all right.

this is the spa room (again, hard to get a good angle on). since i had more space for it i decided to make it more luxurious, like i would want in real life. you can’t really customize like any of very small number of tubs sadly but i stuck a tiny byakko table with a hingan lamp on it in the corner there to cover up the ugly unlit metal lamp thing that this comes with (metal is NOT one of my target materials!!).

here’s the bedroom. the first thing everybody does when they come in here is lie on the bed (or jump on it, but mostly the former). another tiger screen here like in my first fc room because i bought like six at the event. my main dissatisfaction in here is that the walls are so barren but i couldn’t think of anything to do with them that wouldn’t just be an inventory-eating repeat of elsewhere. to ponder on i guess.

okay now it’s time to go to the basement.

oh. if you were wondering where the waterfall partitions were, all twenty of them are down here, in the water room, where i keep the water. also, i know the ice chandelier or whatever it’s called is a better fit color-wise but i like purple more and that other one doesn’t rotate like this one does. plus i still had one of these on me unlike the blue ones.

here are my little guys and also more fish. by the way, all the fish here and in the hype fc house are saltwater fish (one or two of luna’s tanks are freshwater i think) because it’s meant to be ocean-themed. as a result there are several repeats since there are vastly fewer displayable saltwater fish in the game and an even smaller amount that i actually like. i think i made good choices though!

the first thing people do when they come down here is jump in the ponds. nova said, “frog instinct,” and she’s so right. also grave stopped by and said, “i need a stage,” and he was right, a stage was called for. i’m not like, going to turn this place into a venue or anything, i don’t have any interest in that and this is the only room that would actually serve that purpose, but idk i thought once i put in the stone walls and floor and water that it seemed like a cool themed club or something. rainforest café but colder and with better food.

i didn’t really go over the music i picked because even though i did go through and spend a lot of time and several more millions getting my hands on as many orchestrion rolls as i could (at least on main) i don’t listen to the music in this game that much. however, i did sit and listen to samples and picked out songs i know i like, and i did listen to them all while i was taking pictures and putting together this post and i have to say, i picked some bangers (at least two places play oblivion, at least two play the main endwalker theme, and at least two play what angel wakes me. lol). i also only picked from the first three tabs in the last house because i decided i would maybe change it up every so often and i didn’t want to pick like the eight BEST BEST ones to start with.

anyway that’s everything! if you actually read through all this and looked at all the pictures, i genuinely appreciate it!! i dunno i had a lot of fun and i like talking about creative processes of any kind. as for other themes to try in the future, i think a castle one would be perfect for grave’s house if he ever decides he would like some input or aid. also, xae said he think it would be fun to open a café venue maybe at some point in the future, but if he chooses to do it at the fc house, then he is required by law to decide he wants his personal to be tropical beach-themed because i am NOT letting all those millions in furnishings go to waste. plus, money elephant is better than storage.

I’m sorry but kpop comebacks haven’t been that good recently especially for bgs all noisy title tracks and choreos are either borrowed from each other or too simple because they want to hop on the tiktok train and I think bts’ recent stuff is better than any recent releases from bgs

i think ur referring to this post and like i'd clarify that i wasn't saying any song was better than another 😐 like bts's releases weren't better or worse than something from other kpop groups (because u know music is subjective) but the point i was making was that bts were hyped up as industry kings (and yes they are! theyre popular / wildly successful / a huge breakthru for asian artists in the west) honestly i have a personal gripe with how twitter armies are like '#AndNothingForKpop #BTSPOP (thus implying that bts is no longer kpop and apparently too big for kpop etc and u know what? i agree that a group doesn't need to be confined to a particular industry and nothing wrong with bts branching out) but then always feel the need to compare to other 3rd gen/4th gen kpop groups to bts

like make it make sense! 'bts aren't kpop, bts are bigger than kpop! bts are the biggest band in the world and are apparently so much holier and authentic than every other idol' sure i mean what do i know 😭 but then no other group is even allowed to enjoy success bc god god forbid they could be copying bts. but i digress!! very much so!! all i was saying is that for bts to have built up so much hype and everyone was awaiting this great comeback and then there was only like...3 new songs. yet to come was definitely closer to the sentimental sweet sort of song that i'd put on par with we are bulletproof the eternal (and i really liked run bts i was getting jiggy to it) but it wasn't like....a fantastic cb overall and then suddenly they're going into solo activities. and ofc! they should get a break and rest and decide to pursue what they want (in terms of artistic direction) but all im saying is that it didn't live up to the hype :/ like i was fighting for my life w irl friends when ptd came out saying 'bts have really spectacular award show stages and songs!!'

also in terms of bg trends lately, i totally agree that tiktok has ruined the music industry as a whole and a lot of songs are reduced to catchy hooks but it's honestly such a disservice to write off them as noise music.

im heavily biased towards svt so i can't speak too much there but even tho 'hot' was closer to noise/bombastic/loud music, their b-sides were insanely good!! the skz album was so cleanly produced like not a single miss on it imo!!

txt and enhypen's releases have been super good too!! it's not a matter of 'is the music GOOD' because everyone defines 'good' differently, it's a matter of...'are they releasing music that actually changes' like not even just boy groups, i would say so many kpop groups (stray kids, enhypen, txt, seventeen, twice, red velvet, stayc) are at least GIVING something, and concepts that are new and eyecatching w cool choreos (a pretty solid backbone of kpop) but for a group that is the most popular in the world and has had a great discography for years, bts hasn't really given anything new :/

AOT characters x their partner on social media is something I love thinking about omg. Eren is the number 1 menace, I swear, he likes keeping an aesthetic and he wants your face on his profile, and he wants to be in yours, and he will brainstorm for cool captions for you both 😭 Jean acts all shy, but that tall mf also lowkey feels the same way as Eren 😭. Mikasa is very relaxed and cute about it, she’s so effortless when it comes posting you on her feed, same with Sasha probably. Connie would post your funny faces 100% while Armin….blonde coconut I feel would be shy at first but is a fan of couple-y posts. Same with Erwin, and Erwin would add the cheesiest suburban dad captions like “my better half” or shit like “forever yours” 😭🥴😭 Hange is just all over, like they’ll be super unpredictable, from wildly funny to very touching stuff. Pick is just sweetness!! All around sweetness that can make you melt. Porco would be…actually I’m not sure, he seems like he’s in line with Eren and Jean 😭 Meanwhile, Levi would not care at all about social media announcements and “instagram official” and people outside his close circles find out about his partner on their tenth-year anniversary because they bumped into you both while you were out on a date 😭😭

Eren and Connie are fiends and almost shameless in how much they want to be on your socials. If you do the thing where you record your food when you’re out to eat with Eren, he’ll interject into your video—“And me! She’s with me!! Show me!!” After some time—or if you tease him by purposefully leaving him out of the frame—he’ll just snatch your phone when you’re recording or taking pictures and makes sure to get himself with the front camera 😭😭 oh and you will be on his, it comes with the price of dating him, he loves posting videos that gradually zoom in on your face before you notice he’s recording.

Connie just photobombs everything. Even if just his eyebrows make in the frame, you better post it. He’s watching you. He loves taking funny selfies and posting them with absolutely no context, and videos too!! He reminds me of that TikTok of the guy who pans the camera to his gf laying in the grass is like, “We had a beach date, and, yeah I love her,” and pans the camera to his face, “I’m faster than her tho. We raced. But yeah, love her.”

Jean pretends like he doesn’t care if you don’t post him, but he cares 😭😭 he’s always willing to take a photo for you, but he wants to take them with you too!! He’ll not so subtly be like, “Hey, did you post those pics from the other day?” as a gentle “reminder,” and he’s honestly so cute you gotta give into him. He likes posting pics with you too, and claims he’s gotta keep it updated so he’s got something to show his mom—“She’ll think I’m making you up if I don’t have proof, babe.”

Armin gets nervous about posting you at first—the whole being publicly affectionate thing, plus the internet is forever, you know. But once he sees that he doesn’t necessarily have to post you guys holding hands or kissing all the time, he relaxes. Just a picture together, or a picture of you from one of your dates every once in a while is cool with him. He takes good candids and they’re his favorite to edit and make all pretty. He gets surprised whenever you post him, and he’s honestly not checking for it/on social media all that often, so he finds out through a friend like Sasha who’s bubbling, “Armin you guys are gonna make me jealous!! Your beach dates look so cute!!” And Armin’s a little confused, until she adds, “I saw the pictures on Insta!!” And now he’s slightly pink in the face.

Porco is… more likely than not recording you innocently vibing or minding your own business before he comes to bother you bye. He thinks your surprised face is so fucking funny and needs several video evidences of it. He gets grumpy when you get an off-guard of him, but just show it to him after and suddenly he’s like, “I look pretty good there, actually,” like yeah, dumbass, that was the point 🙄🙄 he posts his shit on Twitter tho, and is always acting like he doesn’t know you—“Girlfriend for sale, willing to trade for Breath of the Wild. At least $30 cash otherwise,” and thinks it’s funny when you threaten to block him. Or he’s subtweeting you when you CLEARLY follow him: “Anybody else know someone who falls asleep 30 mins into a drive?? No?? Just me??”

Erwin and his captions anon please I’m hollering. You know he uses the filters embedded into Instagram, too, and it makes some pics come out grainy/more dull. He comes questioning Hange with genuine curiosity, “How come your photos look so… bright? How do I do that?” Sir, open up VSCO and free yourself from the shackles of Sepia.

Levi could not care less about what and how much you post of him on social media, and his own is so scarcely updated; he really just has it so he’s not a complete ghost to the world, and to occasionally cure a fit of boredom. The pictures he posts are always nice tho, simple, cleanly edited and shot, and sometimes he’s not even in them. He doesn’t mind if you post him or not, but every once in a while he’ll stop by with a simple heart emoji in the comments. (To which Hange absolutely loses their shit every time and loves to joke about, “omgggggg are you and @leviackerman official???? 🤪🤪🤪)

Hange is the undisputed champion of photodumps and you cannot prove me wrong. Above all, they love posting a series of chaotic photos that tell a story—three slides dedicated to photos that caught you falling down; several photos back to back of you stuffing your face with food; frames of the both of you posing for a photo with the front timer but of course something made them topple over you. Their captions don’t help either, almost always unrelated from the disaster that just unfolded. Could have posted a photo dump of you two skipping (and falling) at the park and the caption is like “fun fact: a cockroach can survive up to five weeks with its head cut off!!” (The disconnect between the pics and captions always confuses Erwin. @e.smith: Very cool! But, what do roaches have to do with you guys looking like you broke your ankles? PS—is everybody okay?)

Mikasa is relaxed about posting you, and she lowkey really likes to be posted on your socials. She doesn’t say much about it, but she likes going back through your profile and looking and what you posted, and the comments from your guys’ friends being supportive. The pictures don’t necessarily spell out that you guys are Together, but that’s okay with her; she doesn’t need four pics of you guys kissing on her timeline to make her happy.
