it's a fraction of silence before the blonde inches a little closer, a glance spared towards the still busy crowd until it's drawn back towards the surprise of her gaze in turn. it's a unique one, truly, to be spared privy on it and even that in itself causes him to pause for another second, far too amused to simply stop and stare at her expression without a push into worrying too much. truthfully, a part of him would wish for everyone else to not have an opportunity to see it, but he knows better than to wish that, truly more amused at the idea of showing them who caused it in the first place. a juxtaposition to the gentleness in which he wraps an arm around her waist. ❛  so it's pretty fair if i request to indulge in such a thing for a moment, am i right? ❜

when only met with silence, the young second in command leans down to press a kiss to his companions lips, fingers curling ever so gently against her brown locks with an understanding ease, it's clear hes smiling, a little giddy with her lips pressed to his own and it sticks even once he pulls away, a truly pleased expression for a man who might be tempted to push for it again, enamoured with the sensation despite it still being new for them both all the same. / nicollaa <333

to celebrate the holidays like this was a first for kishinami hakuno.  hardly anything noteworthy to recall from the previous years  /  those bleak and empty years all blurring together,  there was no reason to celebrate the festivities when there was no one to celebrate it with.  such a solitary existence,  not knowing of any familial ties nor having any meaningful bonds with anyone,  she was bound to be alone.

this year was different,  however,  because he is here. 

to make the acquaintance of the underboss of the faizone would be a fearsome thought to most,  and hakuno couldn't say that she was without her own concerns  —  hard to comprehend nicola francesca,  the charismatic man with the perfect  /  crafted smile,  but the time they've spent together was always enjoyable.  today,  too.  walking together,  sightseeing together,  eating together.  such mundane things became something so precious,  and the hours slipped away before she knew it.  a view of the moon overhead tugs the corners of her lips downwards ever - so - slightly,  its presence a reminder that it's getting late,  and that they'd be going their separate ways soon.

so the offer to walk her home was a pleasant surprise,  though not one she could accept so easily.       ❛   you don't have to.   ❜       courteous,  yet perhaps a bit too blunt in its wording.  aware that the routes to their respective destinations diverged at this point,  it would be a hassle to have him go out of his way like that,  and for what ?   though she couldn't deny a ...  curious feeling at the offer,  even moreso when her response was met with insistance on ensuring her safe travel back.  hakuno still didn't think such a thing was necessary,  but if it could give him some peace of mind then ...  she supposed there was no reason to refuse.      ❛   then,  sorry for the trouble.   ❜       she ought to be more apologetic when saying this,  she realized that in the back of her mind,  but truthfully,  she hadn't been exactly keen on turning him down in the first place. 

it was selfish of her,  she realized,  but she wanted cherish this—  his kindness,  and the opportunity to be with him for just a little while longer.

leaving behind the chatter from the café,  click of her heels come to a halt in line with his own footsteps,  followed with a slow blink when realizing that they'd themselves under a certain plant.  having no particular feelings on tradition herself,  she was more curious to see how nicola would react,  though his response ended up taking her aback.  ( it doesn't show on her face,  however,  and hakuno recovers rather swiftly )       ❛   saying it like that makes it sound like you were hoping for something to happen ...   ❜       an observation,  mostly,  but there's the barest teasing lilt to silvery voice as she muses this.  peering at him from the corner of caramel eyes,  they widen slightly at the knowing look on his face.

what a surprise.  the words had been a jest,  and she hadn't expected for it to carry any hint of truth in it.  did he really want to ... ?   the blatant inquiry made it abundantly clear,  but such a thing was still hard to believe.       ❛   e - eh .. ?   ❜       the sound comes out as a small squeak,  barely audible,  but leaving lips parted in a small gape afterwards.  when his gaze turned to the distant crowd to ensure privacy for the two,  she found her eyes unable to leave him,  cheeks warm despite the chilly breeze that swept past them.  stunned at the thumping in her chest as her vision remained on him,  a hand would place itself over the area,  as if to verify the actions of that organ.  her heart really was racing,  and—  ah,  irony.  she knew just what it was a mistletoe implied,  but wouldn't dare to ask,  never one to indulge in her own wants or needs.  if he were to ask,  however,  then it'd be acceptable  —  because hakuno is a giver,  dutifully fulfilling that which was asked of her.

though a request of a kiss is ...  much too personal.  as generous as kishinami hakuno is,  such requests were ones she'd typically reject,  for she is quite the romantic deep down,  holding the belief that such intimate acts should be reserved for someone special.

—so maybe that's why ...  the thoughts trail off at the feel of his hand on her waist,  and she is still without the proper words to say,  but actions would speak volumes where speech failed.  dark lashes fluttering close,  head cranes upwards to accept the kiss.  there's a gleeful skip of her heart when their lips met at last,  a soft hum sounding from the back of her throat.  every touch,  every feeling brought on from this moment is unfamiliar,  but it is far from unpleasant.  the smile on his lips is felt  —  cute  —  and while her inexpressive self can't so easily mimic it,  the sentiment behind it is reciprocated with a subtle shift to deepen the kiss. 

there's another sound as he pulls away,  a small whine.  head canting with a sigh,  brown locks spill over small shoulders,  stray strands obscuring full view of flushed cheeks.  rosy lips remain slightly pursed,  pouting a little,  a faint disappointment over wanting it to last longer.  a feeling that melts away easily at the sight of his pleased face.

... he's much prettier up close,  she notes idly.  having someone,  having him,  in such close proximity was yet another new experience for the maiden who was usually so distant,  viewed as a flower blooming on a high peak  /  someone so out of reach.  it surprises even herself when she finds her arms wrapped around his form,  an action to keep the two of them remaining close like this.

dainty hand tentatively reaches out to carress the side of his face with a delicate touch,  half - lidded eyes peer up at him,  mirth in that gentle gaze.  a moment's indulgence,  is what this may have been,  but it had felt much more intimate than that.  they'd come this far ...  why stop now ?   that smile still hasn't left his face ...  a smile that seemed more genuine than usual,  or was she still in a daze from that kiss ?  ( what a nice sight it is,  though. )  despite giving ample time to,  he doesn't pull nor push her away when her hold tightens.  could she take that as a good sign .. ?

a beat,  and voice comes out as a whisper between what little space lay between them.       ❛   another,  please.   ❜

Also my friend sent me a few little fun things about Toshinori and I found out that he's a nature lover and he even has a favorite type of tree?? * He honestly might just teach you the bad causes of drinking too many. Nah really he will sit you down with all the research he did to explain everything. (Quite endearing really. He really wants to make sure you’re ok❤️)

* Now he’s not gonna force you to stop. It’s really up to you in the end. But he will still be making sure you are ok. And he suggests healthier options too! See? Now you can enjoy what you love but in a much healthier way!

* He’s not very talkative but the way he shows how much he cares for you is very sweet. Don’t worry your skellie too much! He’s quite the Worrywart!

Horror:

* Boyo is always trying to take a sip from your can. He’s just curious on why you love it so much. So much that he is literally giving you puppy eyes so that you’ll give him a sip (which I know you succumbed to the cuteness-). He found it pretty cool!

* And yet…..you still cannot get away with saying “Oh I’m not tired! Just waiting for it to kick in! 👀💦” yeah sweetie Horror is also very observant. He’ll make you get sleep. And you can ONLY get an energy drink if you get proper sleep in!

* He knows you love the drinks but he’d rather you get proper sleep first! Then you can have any you like! Why drink to get energy when you can just sleep Y’know? That’s what he thinks anyway. But he wants you happy too so you always wake up with an energy drink ready for you! ☺️

* He just wants you to be happy and healthy!

Killer:

* Bruh. You know DAMN well he’s probably the one supplying you the damn drinks- if you thought you was bad? Think again- he literally has an unlimited supply in god knows where in that room of his…..

* Let’s be honest: He drinks WITH you. Both of you happily drinking together on the couch watching anime or playing games. But he’ll drop a few hints about “Heh might wanna slow down…”

* Now just because he kind of (is) a bad influence, doesn’t mean he won’t keep an eye on you. If he sees how it affects you, he’ll try to moderate how much to give you. Because he may be a lil shit….but he cares about you a lot.

* You can always be guaranteed to have fun with this guy but also taken care of no matter what!

Error:

* Glitchy boi would be a straight up dick talking about you have an addiction meanwhile he’s on his 15th chocolate bar himself- I’m pretty sure he steals your drinks too-

* And you can bet he’s taking those drinks away if you’re overdoing it. He’ll have multiple excuses for keeping it from you…..but really he just wuvs you and doesn’t want you feeling all sluggish because he worries for you 🥺. Will he admit that? HA! No-

* Though he will easily give in with a little….convincing. Puppy eyes and promising more chocolates? He’ll eventually give in. But he also makes you promise to at least take it easy with the drinks.

* Grumpy hobo man may be a lil sassy but he means well!

Nightmare:

* He’s probably the only one who doesn’t see why the hell you like these drinks. It tastes like battery acid…..(says the guy drinking black coffee-). He didn’t really care at first but the MOMENT he sees how groggy you get? Oh you fucked up-

* He’s immediately hiding your stash and you WILL be scolded if you ask about it. And he’s dragging your ass to bed to make sure you get proper sleep. Right after he makes sure you are properly hydrated first.

* I can imagine even as his S/o, these moments can be quite unexpected but he was like…..mother henning you. And the way he stays by your side to make sure you’re ok makes your heart melt❤️

* Even the king of negativity can have a sweet side!

Cross (Lil bonus boi✨):

* Well he does like a few energy drinks himself especially for a game night or during morning training. He can drink as much as you without really realizing it then feels guilty about it but laughs it off.

* But it’s definitely a different story when he notices how sleepy you still are especially after the amount you drank. He gets a little concerned and asks if you’re okay. When he learns the energy drinks don’t work on you, he thought of a few ideas…..

* He looked for alternatives that could help you wake up much better. Like working out with him and eating a few healthier meals! But you both do have days to splurge on your favorite drink. It’s only fair!

* He didn’t want you to miss out on what you loved! So he helped you find a balance! He just loves you so!❤️

Can I say I'm legitimately confused by anyone who is jealous of the Anthony proposing to Edwina scene. I think the show did a great job to make it clear it's not a happy scene. Kate is devastated, there's shots where you see Anthony is already second guessing, the bridgerton family reactions are a mix of confused to violet/Daphne knowing he's making a huge mistake. Meanwhile we the audience know Edwina just agreed to marry a man who does not love her. Then the two times Anthony proposes to Kate he's genuine and doing it because he wants to be with her. With a second proposal of him pouring his heart out to her and waxing on about how she makes him feel. But apparently since Anthony didn't propose to Kate in front of people it means something less??? Yeah I completely disagree 😅

Yeah I can’t think of any Anthony and Edwina scenes that played to be positive except the conversation on the couch at Aubrey Hall.

And that scene is interesting because I think its supposed to show that Anthony and Edwina could have had a relatively fine life together. And they would I think, in a Kate free world, I don’t think Anthony would cheat with other women, I don’t think they’d resent each other, or be wholly bored. This is a fine option.

Until you compare that to a scene with Anthony and Kate and you see the difference between fine and love. Because the scenes with Kate are emotional and charged and thats massively different from fine

I also think Dorset fills this role…both Edwina and Dorset are perfectly normal fine choices for either Anthony or Kate they could have easy but they choose the harder option. For tru wuv❤️🥺😂

Today, you didn’t like yourself, but that didn’t mean there wasn’t a chance that tomorrow you would love yourself. Kissing your head, he hoped tomorrow would be a better day for you, until then he was here for you.

it's curious to see such a thing on another,  only ever seeing it through the hazy reflections of herself,  but ah—  that look.  this look.  that emptiness is ...       ❛   is it because you have no reason to live.   ❜       tone does not even lift to indicate a question,  speaking bluntly.  if their similarities would only continue from there,  then,  it makes sense for him to want to die. and even if you want to live,  do you have the qualifications to do so ?   what does it mean to  “ live ”  in the first place ?   knowing nothing of that,  knowing nothing about what it is to truly be  “ human ”  ...  she supposed it would only make sense.  what other option was there than to just disappear ?

—though,  where her's was an unfeeling resignation,  at least he wants to die.  as morbid a desire as it was,  it was still a desire.  something.  she has nothing at all.       ❛   i don't care about your present.  i don't care about what you want.   ❜       and whatever he's seeking for—  entertainment or a response or whatever.  what did he hope to get when faced with something as lacking as himself ?   it doesn't matter.  if i'm heartless,  then so are you.  she doesn't see a point in stating the obvious;  and just like herself,  surely he understood himself enough to realize that by now. 

lifting up the gun once more,  actions remain undiscernible but hands work to instead disassemble the revolver. her lack of skill in working it does not show through the action,  steady and smooth movements remained as mechanic as ever.  just like a machine.  metallic clinks fill the silence as the bullets are removed,  one by one,  carelessly spilled onto the floor.  there's a pause at the last bullet,  held in dainty digits.  a swift flicker to the other,  as if to gauge his reaction.  would you be disappointed ?   upset ?   any of it would be better than her unfeeling self.  but regardless of his feelings,  instead of joining the others,  the lone bullet would find its place loaded back into the cylinder.  a faint clicking sound following as it is then spun.

taking a seat on the floor,  she doesn't gesture for him to follow suit,  nor does she bother explaining.  only peering upwards with vacant eyes.  when gaze is met,  the item is set in the space between the two.       ❛   we can get one turn each.  whoever shoots first,  where they aim,  it doesn't matter.   ❜       nothing about it really matters,  but—

there was a not-pg13 joke on the tip of my tongue for this but 😌 im going to be nice.

aside from being hot as hell, i think vinh’s more passive and distant demeanor is also relatable for me ! and the social anxiety. that counts too. though, i think we’re on very different branches of how exactly the ‘quiet kid’ personality comes off.

👹 How does you OC act around different people and how does their personality change to match the environment they’re in? How do they act with: friends, family, strangers, children or their lover(s)?

she tries to keep her personality as neutral and mild as possible, so it’s not as though there’s much of an explicit change for anyone, she likes to be a figure that many can depend and rely on for anything ! but !! for the ppl who have managed to get close to vinh — it does become easier to garner any slightly more ‘emotional’ responses (they’re never very strong though. vinh’s emotions are pretty subdued.)

that being said though, she’s still very prone to coming off as incredibly distant and withdrawn to friends and loved ones if a certain level of security is not met — she doesn’t like to saddle others with anything that could be seen as a burden, so she’d much rather keep to herself and resolve it alone.

💥 Are there any emotions your OC doesn’t know how to deal with, doesn’t understand or hates having to feel? Any reason behind this?

she doesn’t really like feeling… anything, really.

anger, jealousy, embarrassment, love, excitement, etc. — it feels like she’s overreacting. it’s hard to not let it affect everything at hand. too many feelings messes with her job her relationships, and her head… so she’d much rather avoid expending too much energy or attention on matters that concern her feelings.

she’ll give herself some time and space to work it out so she doesn’t combust internally, but it’s not really one of her first or immediate priorities. she understands that she Will feel things and where they could possibly stem from, but really, she’d still much rather not deal with it.

I … AM AN ASSHOLE. I AM MEAN . i also don’t like talking to people, but i usually pull my pants up and do it either way. and i am indeed an expressed perfectionist, but i don’t rly push myself to a breaking point bc i like to maintain my own sanity. also we’re both pretty ‘my-pace’ people, but flint’s ultimately more steadfast and organized than i am.

flint is very much so a ‘what you see is what you get’ case… he’s always very formal, serious, steadfast, and logical — he doesn’t play around nor does he expend much energy on sass and snark, threats and jokes; anyone and everyone who knows him knows the drill well !

though, to say that he’s as dismissive and brusque with his loved ones isn’t very true. flint is well aware of how his personality could be seen and takes a variety of steps to ensure that the people he cares for knows that he appreciates and values them, even if he is not the most outwardly friendly person. his pride isn’t so much of a concern if it jeopardizes what he holds near and dear.

with children in particular, he does take a step back in how harsh he can be, but he doesn’t really stray too far from his default strict and straightforward self.

in short? no.

as ‘logic-over-everything-grrrrr-blah-blah-blah’ as flint seems at a first glance, he’s not one to discredit the importance that emotions hold. sure, it could be tiresome — but he gives himself the space and time he needs to work through tough times so that he doesn’t stress himself out needlessly.

sure he’s got a bit of a temper and an attitude, but he keeps it in check and takes great care to never explode or do anything carelessly. he doesn’t hate any of his own emotions; if he feels it, then he’ll let himself feel it, nothing more to it.

Oh dude same, I got tickets to see pentagon in 2019 and I was literally shaking trying to buy them. I literally cannot deal with high stress situations like that. My favorite part had to be the “whys his bgm different?” one.
