request: do you think you could write jackie taylor x f reader? they've been together for a few years and have know each other for longer r is not apart of the team but was on the plane when they crashed (maybe she's something similar to misty? //job wise only tho yk😭) she's also not close to the team (aside from jackie) and feels awkward and shy or whatever around them so she just sticks with Jackie pretty much at all times (and plus she's terrified of their situation)very clingy r but jackie doesn't mind one bit. looooots of cuddles and forehead/temple kisses bc yes pls

Becoming co-manager for the Wiskayok girls soccer team didn’t feel like such a good idea right now. You definitely didn’t regret it, because she did it for your girlfriend, Jackie Taylor, whom you loved very much. But it didn’t feel like it was your best idea ever.

As soon as the plane had crashed, Jackie reached for you, and soon after searched for Shauna. But you came first.

She made sure you sat with her rather than Shauna, because she knew how you were about the team. You’d never even tried to really socialize with them because of your personality type. You were more introverted than anything, but you still tried.

You were friends with Misty, due to you both managing the team, as well as Shauna because she was Jackie’s best friend, but that was about as far as you’ve gone.

The crash was about three weeks ago now, and you have been contributing, although no one had made any other attempts to talk to you then they had before, at practices.

You’ve mostly been glued to Jackie’s side, even when she had to pee.

It’s not that you’re afraid of the other girls, or that you don’t want to socialize with them, it’s that you’re terrified of the situation you were involuntarily thrown into. There’s a voice in the back of your head wondering what if you’re here for a reason.

But you haven’t brought the thought up to anybody because, you were gonna get rescued soon, right?

During meals Jackie has to forcibly remove you from the cabin to come sit with the rest of the team. She insists you’re just as much a part of the team as she or Shauna are.

Like right now, you’re sat on the cabin step, willing away the dark thoughts about the wilderness. You tilt your head up the slightest bit to see Jackie’s big eyes staring toward you.

You give her a nervous smile, in which she replies by coming over and grabbing your hand gently to pull you over.

Jackie wants nothing more than to have both of her favorite things to fully collide; you and soccer.. but she won’t rush you until you’re ready.

She sits you so close beside her on the log, you’re almost sitting on her lap, which results in your cheeks setting aflame. You swallow nervously and get out a, “H- hi,” like you always do.

“Hey, y/n,” Tai gives a small smile, as she always does, when she hands you your share of the food.

You let out a sigh of relief as everyone else greets you just as kindly.

“See, nothings wrong,” Jackie kisses your temple. “It’s just the girls. Plus Javi, Coach, and Travis.”

You chuckle quietly, to which Jackie’s eyes brighten.

“Why don’t you talk a little about yourself?” Shauna looks at you with comforting eyes. Of course, she knows all about you, but none of the other girls do, not even Misty or Coach knows a lot about you.

You swallow nervously, but speak confidently.

“Well, I..” You look down but Jackie grabs your hand and that gives you more confidence. “I like soccer. I wish I could play but I don’t think my lungs could take it.”

“It’s true,” Jackie backs you up when everyone continues watching you. “She’s winded just from making out.”

The girls chuckle as they eat and listen.

“I also really enjoy reading and— I’m kind of fluent in French,” You shrug nonchalantly.

“No shit,” Nat rubs her thumb across her lip absentmindedly.

“So that’s why Jackie is always passing the French tests with flying colors,” Lottie nods. “I always wondered, because the first day you could even say ‘Hi, my name is..’”

Everyone bursts out laughing, yourself included. No one notices how Lottie speaks presently, instead of in a past-tense manner. Or if they do, they don’t say anything, because for once since the shit hit the fan, they were smiling and having fun.

Eventually, the team went around in a circle sharing secrets, like how Lottie has thousands of dollars in TJ bucks.

By now, the sun had gone down and the warm atmosphere during the day had faded into a cooler one. You were snuggled against Jackie, who was scratching your head and leaned down to kiss your head every few minutes.

The groups eyes landed on yours after a while, and your mind came up blank. You couldn’t think of anything off the top of your head that you hadn’t already revealed.

“Um,” your face heated with embarrassment because everyone who has shared before you had already known what they were going to say, except you. “I don’t know— I don’t really have any secrets. I don’t even have time to go to the store.” You laugh a bit.

“Just tell us something else about yourself,” Van shrugs. “I don’t have any secrets either, if it makes you feel better.”

“Well, I have a lot of family, but none of them amount to how much Jackie means to me,” You give a glance the your girlfriend, who moves in closer. She puts her arm around you and gives you another kiss on your head. “I have three sisters and a brother.”

You shrug, not really knowing what else to add.

“I can play the piano. Really well, actually,” You put out there, raising brows from everyone.

“Well there’s a secret,” Jackie chuckles. “I didn’t know you could play piano.”

“Yeah, maybe I can play for all of you sometime.”

“That would be nice,” Shaunas eyes sparkle with hope, that just maybe you will all get out of here.

but they mean it as a joke bc they do love xiaojun

the worst thing the older members can do though is leave you, xiaojun, hendery, and yangyang in the same room unattended

i don't think i even need to explain why this is a terrible idea

overall wayv think you're heaps of fun and a good match for xiaojun

xiaojun gives me jealous vibes

he'd be embarrassed for being jealous, but he would also let you know he is

if one of the members were flirting with you, even jokingly, he would straight up tell them to stop doing that

if it was a stranger he'd likely let you deal with it, but then tell you afterwards how jealous it made him

it's kind of attractive though? knowing that your boyfriend is a lil possessive of you and will give you heaps of cuddles and kisses afterwards

for some reason i feel like xiaojun wouldn't really mind pda?

if you wanted to give him a kiss on the cheek in public he'd let you

and he would definitely want to hold your hand or have you close

xiaojun prefers to speak with you in chinese (mandarin/cantonese)

although he has the basics of korean down and tbh his english doesn't actually seem that bad, so he'd probably learn those for you if need be

i think he would rather teach you chinese instead of learning a language himself lol

and he'd be a very encouraging teacher too

maybe confusing and not very clear

but supportive and that's what counts haha

Hello! Can I get MCU, The Hobbit, and The Man From U.N.C.L.E. ship? 💚

Appearance: She/her. 179,5cm tall, rectangle body shape. Fair skin complexion with quite a few birthmarks. Dyed brown with honey-red highlights, shoulder-length, straight hair with bangs. The left eye is a mix of two colors – a smaller portion of (darker) greyish-blue and a larger portion of hazel; while the right eye is just a (lighter) greyish-blue. Heptagon face shape with two dimples on the left cheek and one on the right cheek (only visible while smiling). A gap between the upper front teeth.

Personality (good and bad traits): Ever since I was a kid, I was always quite mature for my age – I identify myself as an old soul. I come off as polite and well-mannered to strangers, yet I tend to keep it to myself by being reserved. But, that’s because I have social anxiety and I’m nervous and shy when meeting/talking to people. The only people I’m comfortable with being with my inner circle – closest friends and family. I am usually more “open” with my friends than with my family. With my friends I can be my “truest-self” – I smile more, I laugh more, I feel more accepted and understood. I am the mom and the fashionista of the group. Don’t get me wrong, I am fiercely protective of my family, especially of my mother and younger sister. But, lately, I’ve been feeling like the “black sheep” of the family, Cinderella who’s been taken advantage of. I express my affection for the people I care about in little, but practical, ways. I can be a little stiff when it comes to open, gushy displays of affection. Others turn to me for help and advice. I’m kind-hearted and generous, always ready to help a person in need. Always have been motherly towards children. Very awkward at keeping small talk (usually with people that I’m not that close with). Absolutely, hate speaking in front of a public, and if I do, because of my nervousness, I tend to mess up my words and/or I practice whatever I’m about to say in my head at first. I appreciate the simplicity and am often most comfortable when I’m not getting too much attention from the world. I am sensitive – both to criticism and to others’ feelings (I sponge up the feelings and moods of people and the environment around me). Have a hard time saying no or expressing my true thoughts, feelings. I get influenced by other people’s opinions/thoughts quite hard (I take everything to the heart), that is why I tend to keep a lot to myself (may come off as a little bit tense, secretive, mysterious). I avoid the harsh reality by daydreaming (almost every day) – imagining myself in situations far from my current circumstances. Sort of like a self-escape. I worry a lot and overthink almost everything. I am easily distracted and my attention span can be quite short. I have an internal struggle between my needs and wants. I can lack focus and be indecisive as a result – when I decide on one route, I am pulled in another direction at the same time (“But what if…”, “on the other hand...”). That is why I’m having a bit of a struggle with deciding what I want to do in the future (career-wise). I am easily overwhelmed by pressure and stress. There is a self-destructive side to me (self-critical, lack of self-confidence) that I’m working on by confronting my fears (coming out of my shell). Don’t like taking pictures, or other people taking pictures of me. I feel most content when I’ve straightened out all the details of everyday life. I have a routine, that I follow by mostly every day, and if something small changes in that routine, I start to have a small internal anxiety attack. Also, I like to do things my own way, like, when it comes to cleaning the house or organizing stuff, etc. I get triggered even if people don’t do the laundry the way I do. I guess you could describe me as a perfectionist, clean/control freak. In triggering situations I can be impulsive, spontaneous, quick to act. Quick flare-ups of anger/annoyance when being provoked on my patience. Even when I’m feeling low, I manage to find humor in life and have fun with whatever I do have. Although I tend to bottle things up, I am an emotional person and my emotions are genuine – I love and care deeply and passionately and wish no ill will upon anyone, yet it hards for me to imagine someone falling in love with me or just liking me.

Hobbies, likes: My hobbies are cleaning, writing (re-writing song lyrics, making small notes, writing stories), listening to any type of music, catching up on my favorite films and TV shows, hanging out with friends, going to the cinema, or the club, being out in nature, reading, traveling. I like history, cooking, fashion magazines (or fashion in general), road trips, spirituality, mythology, books, orange juice, previous decades, cottage-core, dark academia.

For the MCU/Marvel - I ship you with Steve Rogers/Captain America !

no one can tell me that Steve doesn’t have a set routine honestly, so let me just get that out there

he seems intimidating at first, esp as a public figure and Avenger, but Steve is nothing but passionate about what he does. so it may clash w your lack of direction, but I could honestly see him envying that a lil bit, like it’s not that you don’t have direction, it’s the fact that you still have a choice in the matter.

your love of history put you in a museum, here you bumped into Steve in a horrible disguise. he struck up the conversation first, and once you got past the whole “holy crap that’s Captain America”, you could actually engage with him in the material and boi was he smitten

he would love to join you when your rewatched your fave things, bc not only is he catching up on more media he missed out on, he’s also getting to know your interests in a way that’s comfortable with you. it avoids all the small talk, but leaves room for discussion after the film/show !

since you tend to sponge up a lot of what other people believe, it’s totally Steve who actually tries to question what you think and what you feel about things. he’s someone who encourages you to have your own opinions and to stay true to those thoughts. so while with him, you can rely on him to learn about yourself, you also gain skills for independence

overall, Steve is super patient, and despite his chaotic job as Cap, he takes comfort in his routine, and would find comfort incorporating a partner’s routine into his life. and as you grow in a relationship with him, he’s patient about teaching you how to be your own person, and helping you learn more about yourself. and while it’s uncomfortable, you grow stronger throughout being with him :)

For The Hobbit - I ship you with Bilbo Baggins !

Bilbo is the definition of introvert, and you're right there with him

not that introversion is ever a bad thing, bc it isn't. but Bilbo is quite content to sit in his little hobbit hole and vibe. like Gandalf had to come find him, ya know. dude disappeared from his own bday.

but anyways. it's not that Bilbo lacks purpose, it's just that he's more content with a quieter life. and it seems like his quiet life would balance you out well! like the Shire is so so chill, and there doesn't really seem to be a lot of pressure on the hobbits to pick a profession. like they just genuinely do what needs to get done.

similarly, Bilbo is the type who seems a little bothered by mushy displays of affection. exhibit a: disappearing from his own bday. like he's much more the type to refill your tea when y'all are reading by the fireplace, which he would totally do w you

it will probs take you a little while to warm up to each, given just how introverted you both are. but when he explains that he has set ways of doing things, then if they're compatible w your ways of doing things, then it doesn't take you long to open up to him

like it'll be a little jarring, but he takes comfort in his routines too. and it'll be an event trying to incorporate both of your ways of life together, but he's willing to do it

overall, yours is a very quaint partnership, built on deep respect for one another. neither of you are going to push the other to do things you aren't into. and y'all just live your best lives together tbh :)

For The Man From U.N.C.L.E - I ship you with Illya Kuryakin !

I love my big Russian spy so much, so this is fun for me

so Illya is the epitome of reserved and generally quiet, so it might take a while to really break down his walls and talk to him. and he's not quite sure what to do with you once you join the team

but, he's playing his game of chess alone, and when you sit down and ask to play with him, he opens up a little more after that

if you're one who get sent out on mission with the team, get ready, bc sometimes those missions require a lot of improvising. but you'd probably be at whatever 'base' was, helping run operations from a more secure place. but Illya and Napoleon improvise a lot, leading to a lot of headaches for you and Waverly

Illya has small bursts of anger, but similar to Gaby, most times, you can intervene and he doesn't get violent. or when he does, he tries to make sure it isn't in front of you. but bc you care so deeply for him, you're there for him in the aftermath. and that's how you show your love for him.

by patching him up if he gets cut, by talking him down when he's angry. and just generally trying to take care of him. and he totally does the same for you, especially if you get sent out into the field

and much to Illya's dismay, Solo doesn't refrain form making jokes about you. but if you can take them in stride, then Solo welcomes you into the team just as well :)

matchup request. hiii can i request a matchup? i go by she/her, i’m straight, i’m an isfp (with some isfj characteristics, mbti is never rly accurate for me) and a sag! i’m very optimistic, humble, peaceful and calm, i guess i you could say i’m kinda shy. an introvert, i hate confrontation and in general i tend to avoid conflict/negativity. i get along easily with people, i’ m very nice and tend to take responsibilities on myself, even if i suck at decision making. 1/3 (SORRY ITS SO LONG) i have many hobbies (i have the tendency to take up a new one every week). i like to paint (watercolors), i play the piano and i sing. i have spotify playlists for everything. i can be quite adventurous (i love planning fun activities with my friends) and i love to travel. i rarely get angry and always try to laugh things off. i am very touchy with people i’m close with. i’m quite insecure, i get reaaaally nervous in social situations, especially if i have to meet new people. 2/3 (AGAIN SORRY) i don’t really have a type or a specific dream date, i do have a thing for coffee shop aus tho. i also love nature and staying outdoors, walking in nature parks and camping. 3/3. My favorite part about the MH AU is how Gordon is immediately Ride or Die for the science team. They're all nervous and hesitant and like "after what you went through we'd undestand if you don't want us around" and he's just "fuck that noise, I can't legally adopt you but you're basically family now." And he accepts them into his home and warns them of the current dangers of the world And just *excited flailing* (And yes there's some unaddressed trauma on the horizon but we don't talk bout that)

I am SO happy that that specific part of the AU comes through in my writing, honestly!! :D

The thing about MH!Gordon, as I mentioned before, is that he is a very loving person & very social as well. I'll eventually go into that in detail in the ongoing fanfic, but let me just talk about this right now -

Gordon pretty much had a very isolated childhood, but that turned around the day he met Newton Geiszler during their time at MIT. Gordon hadn't met someone who he got along & relate with on such a deep level (both children of divorce, ADHD, trans, "gifted children", fans of alternative music & style, reckless yet caring)... and that pretty much lead to them both helping each other to get out of their shells.

Then they both founded their band, which added to Gordon getting used to being around people even more often & he found that while he thought he was mostly an introvert, being around people who cared about him gives him energy as well!

And then graduation came. The band broke apart as everyone went different ways. Newton went to the PPDC. Gordon went to Austria for two years to work at [REDACTED], which was a company similar to Black Mesa.

But it was heavily secluded work, with him just sitting in a small office & doing a lot of paperwork and... that's not what Gordon wanted to do in his field of Science. Yes, he got his doctorate in theoretical science (& computer science) but the man wants to physically do things! Interact with things! With people!!

That's when Black Mesa was like "Hey, we need a Theoretical Scientist we can trust with pieces of information on our dangerous projects! We don't have a spot for you just yet, but how about a few paid analyses of our experiment data before we let you close to our space rocks?"

Gordon pretty much jumped at this opportunity right away, with the hope of getting closer to his dream job with them. Sure, he'd have to stomach a few more months on his own, but surely he can handle that bit of self-isolation!

He quit his job in Austria & moved back to the States, pretty much in time for Black Mesa to send him a message - "We now have an open position at our facility, but we need to be sure you can deal with the pressure of entering ongoing projects. You would be tasked to check one of our "Employee Training Simulations for Emergency Situations" for errors."

Gordon could do that. He's a skilled man & this job sounded easy enough! :)

Then HLVRAI happens in said simulation.

And I need to stress - until then, Gordon was pretty much denying himself a lot of social interaction bc he was so focused on making his future at Black Mesa work out for him.

So... now we have an emotionally starved (+ touch starved) Gordon meeting the chaotic yet lovable Science Team!! AND BOY HOWDY!! Oh, how they grind his gears. The jokes, the bits - but they are so on one wavelength!! If he could only shut his anxiety up about failing Black Mesa with how the simulation is going - but STILL!! It has been so long since he was around people who he could banter with & lovingly bully a bit...

And then they get out. And Gordon is stressed about many things but that is overpowered by "HOLY SHIT MY NEW FRIENDS ARE OKAY. I AM NOT UNPACKING THE HELL WE JUST WENT THROUGH (for now) - all that matters right now is that the people who gave me the social contact I so desperately needed the past few years are with me now aND I WILL DEFEND THEM WITH MY LIFE & THIS BASEBALL BAT!!"

And this is how we got to where we are right now with Metalhead Gordon. :>

Got the Stones and the Beatles and the Who—real great place, music’s everywhere, didya know that lots of the classic rock bands were influenced by jazz? Roger can show you where they played. Also really into the Smiths. And indie stuff. Fan of the occasional really good musical. Just doesn’t really like pop is all (ok except for some songs....)

Books: classics, he’s partial to the 1920s era—Hemingway (yes, I know), Fitzgerald, Stein, and all that good stuff. Also a fan of Virginia Woolf. Also a huge Jane Austen fan, he won’t admit that right away but it’s easy to pry out of him.

Magazines: tbh not many,,,he keeps up with music stuff online

Foods: good pub food—he likes a good steak pie with loads of green peas and mashed potatoes on the side. Also a good English breakfast (his favorite part’s the sausage).

Drinks: tea—black, the English Breakfast blend. Likes a good beer as well, or a shot of whiskey.

Animals: Dogs. No, but seriously, he’s always been fond of them and will take care to point them out on the street to whoever he is with.
