#i thought my hiatus was gonna be over soon. this extends it by a week at least đ
Progress Update - 3/4/24
Hello and happy March!
Itâs been a while, hasnât it? đ
Well, I finally have some good news for you this time: I have some actual news!
I'm happy to be able to announce at last that an update is on its way! Iâve still got some assets to make and code cleanup and testing to finish, but I should finally have something to show you soon.
Iâll put a cut at the end of this and go into more detail about the what and why of what Iâve been working on during this long and unintended hiatus, but the tl;dr is that I hope to have an update out by the end of the month, and that said update will break any saves made in Chapter 4. Unfortunate, but unavoidable, since Chapter 4 had to be recoded from the beginning đ
I just want to thank all of you once again for sticking with me through my extended silence! Especially to my patrons whoâve put up with me putting everything on pause month after month while I dealt with my real life shit, and to everyone whoâs sent me kind and supportive messages to let me know Speaker hasnât been forgotten. It really means a lot to me.
Okay, enough of that sappy shit! Iâm gonna get back to work finishing this up đ Iâll put out another update later this month once I have a more definite release date.
Thank you all for reading! I hope youâre having a fantastic 2024 so far, and that the rest of the week treats you kindly. See yâall soon! đđđ
(For those who want a more detailed breakdown on whatâs been happening and what to expect, hit the readmore)
I wonât go into the personal life stuff Iâve been dealing with this past year that has slowed down my work, but as far as the actual game goes:Â
To put it simply, I just wasnât happy with it. Some of it could be because of how many times I had to reread the same section while I was coding the scenes that wouldâve taken place after the last update, but no matter how much I edited or rearranged it, I didnât like how that scene turned out. There was something⊠formulaic that had been happening with the way I always laid out scenes, and a bit of stagnation in the story, character, and relationship development that bothered me.
So I rewrote it. And when I still didnât like it, I rewrote it again. And I still didnât like it. I thought about scrapping the whole thing on more than one occasion as I struggled to get out of the corner Iâd written myself into.
Inspiration finally struck at the beginning of this year, thanks in part to another interactive novel I follow, and I really like the direction Iâve taken it now.Â
Instead of the RO split scenes happening where the last one left off, Speaker, Seer, and Gavin are gonna have a chat about Thingsâą to move the next story arc forward. Then Speaker will get some downtime, by themself at first and then in an extended scene split with the RO of their choosing.Â
All the Big Plot Things that were going to happen in Chapter 4 will be moved to Chapter 5 instead, and 4 will be a bit more of a filler episode. A deep breath before the plunge, as it were.
This split wonât just be a quick conversation/reaction from the RO, but a full on different direction for the rest of the chapter based on who you choose. Most of them will involve leaving the house; all of them will involve actual one-on-one time (or one-on-two time, as the case may be) away from the others. And though romance isnât required, all of them will have the potential to really move the romance forward if you so choose. One or two might even have a lock-in choice (maybe. Iâm not 100 percent on that, so donât hold me to it)Â
These scenes wonât be in the next update, because theyâre all very complex, but the update will definitely have the Seer chat and at least some of the by-yourself stuff. The update after will have the rest of the alone time stuff (including the clothes/body CC youâve all been waiting for), and then the one after will start the RO scenes. I think.
I may actually split the RO scenes into separate updates, and let my darlings over at Patreon vote for the order theyâre released. That way I can focus on one at a time instead of trying to split my attention six ways at once.
Okay, thatâs enough rambling for me today. Time to get back to work! Still got a lot to get done before this is ready, but itâs so close now.

CHAPTER 3: BAD B*TCHES
table of contents
đ©đœâđ»: lol did yâall miss me? im still on hiatus for maybe a good two weeks until summer srry<\3. but to make up for it I made this chapter hella long.
âDamn their water pressure is good.â You mumbled softly, turning off the faucet. The boy had a cleaner bathroom than you had expected, in comparison to the ones in America - he was almost cleaner than yourself. You wiped the fog from the glass admiring your damp face for a moment, fully indulging in the fact that you were really in Japan. Â
You slipped on your pajamas, the bottoms hugged at the figure well and unfortunately so did the tank top Mitsuki put out for you. You had no problem wearing it around by yourself, but you had to take into account there was a boy you had never met before living there as well. It didnât help that Midnight never gave you any descriptions about the boy as well, so it was obvious how high alert you were.
You grabbed your belongings, turning the music down to a soft hum in volume before turning off the bathroom light. The cold air hit your damp warm one before clearing your vision to see the teenage boy you had been wondering about the day you got your acceptance email. You both stared in awe, you took in his muscular arms due to training, the light ruffle of his blonde hair, his mouth fixated in a frown, and his piercing red eyes.
It wasnât as if he wasnât looking at you either, your skin glistening under harsh light, your hair lightly tied back with a hair tie, the familiar smell he smelt minutes before now more concentrated and easier to name. He dared not to look at your figure-hugging the waistband of the pajamas, trying to rip his glare away fast enough. He grunts, beginning the doorknob, âYou better have had left my bathroom the way you saw it.â
You frowned furring your brows, âDuh I did. And hello to you too.â you scoffed looking down at your phone in an attempt to make the situation less awkward. The blonde boy let out a groaned out âheyâ before opening his door, and closing it in the same breath. âRude ass,â you mumbled under your breath before heading downstairs back to your room.Â
âYou met him?? TELL ME WHAT HAPPENEDâ Imani squealed putting her elbows on her crisscrossed legs looking in awe behind the screen. You smiled at her eagerness to know the boy, though you didnât think he was all that. âWell heâs pretty muscular, um tall, heâs blonde and rude as fuck.â You rolled your eyes at your last sentence as you simultaneously put your belongings in your new backpack for tomorrow.
âOkayyy he could work! You gotta fierce Lil attitude too so itâll work out fine.â Imani flashed you a smirk - knowing you couldnât hit her from Japan. âOh shut up Mani! you know if I was there Iâd slap your ass right now.â you pointed your middle finger towards the camera, giving her a nice view of your white acrylic nails. âExactly why ima act out now rather than next year.â She huffed, turning off her led lights looking back at her best friend. âIâm gonna miss you tomorrow, schoolâs gonna be so boring.â You whined thinking about the worst scenario known to come. If they were anything like Bakugo, well you were going to be entirely fucked. âI will too. But stop making me sad about it! We gone see each other soon.â Mani kissed the phone foreshadowing a kiss to your cheek, you smiled doing the same motions as her before ending the call and rolling over to fall asleep.
âI better like these people, Nah they better like me....â you shut your eyes, anxious for your first day to start.
The next day came, as Mitsuki dropped you and Bakugou off. You expected him to at the least show you to where you needed to be - but instead he slung his backpack to the side , not giving you a glimpse of attention your way. âOne day im gone beat his ass up.â you took a breathe trying to find the dorm rooms, only to be met with a man right in front of you.
âHi, [L/N] nice to finally meet you.â The tired-looking man shook your hand motioning you into the dorms. âAs you know we enroll all students into the dorms for their safety because of accidents that have happened in previous years.â you nodded looking at the huge building with high ceilings and pillars inside. The man showed you around to the necessities like the gym, commons room, the classrooms, and finally to your dorm room. âI forgot to mention, but you probably know me. Iâm Aizawa, and Iâll be teaching you along with class 1A. Today we just want you to prepare your dorm room so you can sleep easy tomorrow - I wonât lie to you, it wonât be easy.â he shrugged giving you the keys to your dorm.
You thanked the man before opening the room, as said in the description - the rest of your belongings were stacked to the side of your room along with your mattress to the right of it and a desk to the left. âMight as well put on music.â you thought to yourself, scrolling through the millions of playlists before finally reaching the one you wanted.Â
âYeah, this will take a while.â
Putting on the comforter of the bed, and adding the last of your pictures on the wall; you flopped onto your bed feeling a slight headache arrive. You groaned wiping your forehead, looking out the window to see the sun almost come to a set. âHow long do these children work? Seems like their school hours are a whole part-time job.â before you could laugh at your inner joke, you heard the loud door creak open before the kids voiced roamed the hallways.
You shifted uncomfortably on your bed, knowing that they knew you arrived. It wasnât like you didnât want to meet them. You just didnât want to do the same cycle of meeting new friends again - it was a hassle and you were fine with the ones you had in America. You took a deep breath trying to regain your thoughts, âThey wonât even know Iâm here. Itâs alright.â you repeated to yourself trying to make the anxiety slowly creep up disappear.Â
âYeah sheâs here now stop asking me about her, you wanna talk to her go right there.â you heard the familiar huffed voice described as Bakugous. You could tell he pointed towards your dorm the way a teenage girl laughed, hearing the footsteps come closer and closer towards your room. âShit.â you jumped off the bed, fixing your hair making sure to make a good impression no matter who it may be. Thatâs when the footsteps stopped, and a light knock was met at your door.
you opened the door to a girl squealing, âHi!â a curly haired girl engulfed you into a hug making you step back giggling at her eagerness, âHey! your hair smells nice.â you hugged her back, finally stepping back to get a look of her. Her hair was the same color as her skin - pink, that you could only assume was the cause of her quirk. However, she did have black features that made you believe she was Blasian.Â
âMina stop harassing the new girl! itâs only her first day. Hello Iâm Momo!â A black haired girl came waving her hand at you, she looked beautiful - you were almost intimidated by her stunning features feeling a tad insecure once side by side.Â
âOh no worries!â you giggled sitting on the edge of your bed motioning for them to come in more. âHowâs your first day been?â Mina sat at the other edge of your bed looking at you with huge eyes, âHonestly, kind of boring. also confusing since this place is huge. Way bigger than the schools in Americaâ you motioned towards out your door foreshadowing the commons room.
âAmerica? thatâs where youâre from?â Momo chimed in walking towards your desk chair to sit down. You nodded, âMhm, California.â Mina gasped - âCalifornia! Youâre so lucky!â you laughed at her bubbly attitude that was a bit similar to your bestfriends at home. âTrust me you wouldnât want to be there, Iâm here for a reason arenât Iâ you smirked nudging her shoulder slightly.
â Wow, How long will you be staying?â âOne year.â you shrugged looking off in your dorm window. âWell I hope you love it here, hopefully become a pro.â Momo smiled at you genuinely, and you couldnât help but fall in love with her persona. Before you could speak again you heard a knock on your door and small murmurs behind your door, Momo opened the door slightly, only hearing a faint âYall better not embarrass me. Iâm seriousâ before she opened the door all the way to the boys.
âShut the hell up Momo.â one yellow haired boy lightheartedly says before leaning on your wall and catching your eyes. âHey! Iâm sero and this is Denki. Nice to meet you.â Sero extended his hand to yours to shake, âWassup Sero, Hi Denki.â you smiled at the other boy.
âDamn, so this is why Bakugo didnât want to show you off huh.â Denki came closer to you, taking in your features. âOr he just donât like meâ you scoffed thinking about his arrogant characteristics from Sunday. âWell thatâs good, less people to compete against.â Denki sat next to you on the edge of your bed fully focused onto you. You smiled taking observations to his flirtatious personality.
No matter Denki giving you his full and undivided attention, Sero caught your eye the moment he walked in the door. You looked Sero up and down, his outfit caught your full attention. He wore the UA uniform required yet paired with grey Jordans and a silver chain dangling from his neck, it was no understatement that he was a very attractive boy. âWhy you standing there all quiet, Sero? you obviously came up here for something.â you jokingly stated - trying to start some conversation with the boy.
âTried to see if you were really what all the hype was about.â He shrugged coming up near you to overpower your figure, your heart raced as he looked down upon you smirking, he knows he fine chile. âThey were definitely right.â He smirked looking at you with low eyes.
âYâall are the most flirtatious boys I know. Swear I canât take yall no where.â Momo grabbed the two boys by their collard shirts making them groan in displeasure earning a laugh from you - only to make them groan in embarrassement.Â
âBye boys.â you wave them off as Momo literally kicked them out your dorm, before closing it in front of them. âI like youâ you pointed to her, making her eyes widen, while her cheeks grew into a blush before smiling. âNow how did you make a better impression than me and I came here first.â Mina flopped onto your bed frowning. âDonât worry girl I like you too.â you slapped her thigh in a friendly manner.
âAlright you two enough talking, get back to your dorms. You all have a long day tomorrow.â Aizawa yelled through the door with his usual tired voice before shuffling off to his room closing the door. âGuess Iâll see you tommorow [Y/N]!â Mina skipped off towards your door âYes! see you tomorrowâ Momo opened the door looking back once more âBye booâs!â you called out before the closed your door.
You turned on your led lights in substitute for the harsh lighting in your dorm, shuffling off into your bed. you looked off onto your wall looking at the pictures you stuck to them, âDamn, I miss you Imaniâ your hand grazed upon the picture of you and Imani sticking up the middle finger to a flashing camera with your phones in one hand and a red cup in the other - a party you both went to knowing damn well you werenât supposed to be there.
You turned towards the other way of your bed shutting your eyes - anticipating for the long day ahead of you, and meeting the rest of your class tomorrow morning.

Recently Del & I have been discussing actor Louis in his life when he weighs 80 pounds over his original weight that he started with in chubby actor, so, I decided to write it for her :)
---
Setting: Christmas time in LA, the weather is still warm and hot, Harry is preparing for christmas with lots of christmas treats, decorations, a new holiday line of clothing.
----------
The weather in LA around Christmas was always a blessing to Harry and Louis, who never really enjoyed the cold and snow of the east coast when they lived there for a few short years at the beginning of their relationship. Even with Christmas two weeks away, the sun was shining and the weather was warm, the boys took every moment they could to soak up the sun poolside in their private garden where they had decorated the surrounding bushes to resemble Christmas trees.
They had a record player on their patio beside the pool spinning side A of ABBAâs Voulez Vous, Clifford and their new cat Doris lounging in the yard with Louis who had just stepped out to get some sun, while Harry was pouring mimosas for the both of them as he waited for their eggs to finish before joining his family outside.
Just as âI Have A Dreamâ was fading out on the record, Harry was stepping over Doris to set up the table for breakfast outside in the sun, when he spun around to find Louis setting his boxers on the ground by his lounge chair.
âLouis! Itâs 11 in the morning!â Harry chastised, though he wasnât too serious as he chuckled at his husbandâs nudity.
âOkay and? We were just naked in bed about an hour ago, not like weâve spent a whole day in suits. Besidesâ, Louis pat his rounded belly, âI canât have any tan lines, this entire tummy needs some colorâ he finished as he raised his arms above his head to lay back in the lounge chair.
âWell, the tanning can wait, I just finished breakfast baby come eat.â Harry went to reach for the utensils he brought out to set them by both of their plates, adjusting Clifford and Dorisâ food trays under the table side by side.
âHarrryyyyyyyy I just laid down, canât you bring it over here?â Louis giggled as he lowered his sunglasses over his eyes. He really loved to push his luck these days with Harry, finding that he and his husband both loved the bratty side of him.
âYou can get your ass over here and Iâll sit in your lap and feed youâ Harry said with a smirk, âgotta make sure my husband gets some type of exercise, even if itâs just to walk to more food.â
âHey! I do, Iâve been working out with you!â Louis huffed back as he stood up and walked toward the chairs to take a seat, leaving his boxers behind.
âYes yes, I know, and Iâm thankful for your company, even if you only walk for an hour and a half and then head straight to the kitchen.â Harry chuckled as he took a seat on Louisâ right leg, pulling a plate of eggs with heavily buttered toast and bacon in front of them.
âDoctors order you know, said as long as I did a little bit of cardio everything else was looking healthy.â Louis smirked as Harry raised a piece of bacon to the older boyâs soft pink lips.
âYes, I would say so.â Harry smiled as Louis chewed, hand reaching to grab under his belly to jiggle it in agreement.
When Louis decided to take an extended break from his acting career, focusing on helping charities and spending more time at home with his husband and pets, he knew exactly what he was getting himself into. He was tired of living a life of restriction, both in his personal life of never getting to spend enough time with his family, but also in his dietary, and even sex life.
Ever since that movie role where he had to put on those 30 pounds, Louis was craving this time to really let go and let Harry take care of him. Let himself gain as much weight as his body wanted.
So he did, during this extended break (which had only started about a year and a half ago) Louis had steadily crept up to gaining 80 more pounds on his once dainty and toned frame. Harry, of course, helping him the entire way.
The beginning of the process this time was nothing like the original. Louis having the knowledge that this was a big kink for them used that to his advantage, almost like he needed it to survive. The day his break started, he came home from the press conference of the announcement of his acting hiatus to find an entire table full of his favorite recipes Harry hadnât made since that movie shoot, demanding that it all be gone by the end of the day.
Thatâs how the first few months of this break went, Harry practically stuffing Louis at least three times a week, Louis walking around aimlessly eating anything he could find to fill his ever hungry belly. He had years to catch up on food wise, and he wasnât going to miss a single morsel if he could help it.
As the months went by, he hit each milestone in Harryâs ever loving company, Harry weighing him every two weeks instead of every two days just so they could focus on Louisâ happiness over some type of number goal. Over the months, his belly slowly swelled forward, even when he wasnât stuffed to the gills now his stomach looked like it could belong to a pregnant woman. His thighs once again found each other, his chest became a soft plain for kisses, and his collarbones disappeared once more. Louis would sit in front of their master bedroom mirror and just admire his curves, running his hands along his soft body to familiarize himself with every inch, every stretch mark that Harry would press soft kisses to. He would run his hands along his belly finally being able to really know his reflection without having to worry about it needing to change for his career anytime soon.
Milestones were set for Louis to achieve by Harry, like outgrowing gucci belts, stretching out fitted t shirts, even popping open a few tom ford button downs. When he busted open the trousers he had worn to his last movie premiere during a particularly difficult stuffing, Louis didnât think Harry was ever going to catch his breath as the older boy cradled his packed belly trying to get any relief. That was a fun night for both of them.
âWhat do you think baby? Do you want anything else?â Harry asked, jolting Louis from his memories, gently tracing his pointer finger in circles around the blue eyed boys belly button.
Louisâ belly wasnât anywhere near full, but it sat content and rounded out in his lap, Harryâs soft hand pushing reality into him. He was so lucky, so happy to be here now with Harry.
âI think iâm good right now baby, thank you so much.â Louis lent over and kissed his husband, his belly bumping into Harry who basically melted at the contact.
âAre you sure? Iâm sure thereâs room for a little more in here.â Harry lent down to kiss the crest of Louisâ stomach.
âIâm good, really, but you said you wereâŠ..making christmas cookies today right? Trying out some new recipes or something about it?â Louis smiled shyly, hoping Harry would get the hint.
âOh yeah I am, I completely forgot. I have to find the perfect recipe to bring to my parents house!â Harryâs dimples were on display as he thought about his parents around the christmas tree.
âI was thinking, if you need help finding the recipe, I could be your tester? Iâm dying for something sweet.â Louis kissed Harry on the cheek.
âIâm sure that could be arranged, youâll have to fill out an application thoughâ Harry chuckled
âAn application? Who else would you have do it?â Louis pulled back from leaving kitten kisses on Harryâs neck.
âWell, youâre going to have to fight Clifford of course for the job.â
----
The day went on as it usually did in the Tomlinson- Styles home. After Louis laid out in the sun for a while lounger, he made his way back to the kitchen for some snacks before lunch. Still refusing to put on his boxers, Harry rubbed his lower belly as Louis reached for the box of cheez its in the overhead cupboard.
âYou know, as much as I love seeing your ass, what if someone comes over? Do you have something against clothes now?â Harry said, continuing to run his hand along the underside of Louisâ stomach, feeling itâs heaviness in his hand when he gently pressed into it.
âClothes are restricting and, honestly all of my boxers are getting a little uncomfortable.â Louis said as he pulled the box down and began opening it.
âLouisâŠ.did we not just buy you those? What, a month ago?â Harryâs cheeks began to flush as he squeezed Louisâ stomach lightly. Thereâs no way - this boy had to have plateaued by now. Theyâve been taking it relatively easy with their stuffings and really just enjoying themselves lately.
âYeah, I mean, a month is a long time...and Iâm still hungry like all the time.â Louis blushed, âitâs...itâs really not that surprising, is it?â
Harry wasnât really sure what to do with this information as he pulled Louis closer to him. âWell...how do your jeans feel and your other new clothes? Do you feel like I have to take them out yet?â Harry had been taking out Louisâ clothes when they would buy new ones, just until Louis felt he really couldnât wear them anymore. After all, the boy had gone up a good few sizes, and they didnât want to have to buy a new set of clothing for each one.
âYeah I mean, everything could be a bit looser, but nothing I canât handle, I guess my body still wants to gain a bit more.â Louis bent over to kiss Harryâs cheek.
âIâŠ.Iâm gonna start baking the Christmas cookies.â Harry blurted. He knew exactly what they were going to do today.
After pressing his lips to his husbands once more and lightly smacking his ever soft behind, he shooed him out of the kitchen so that he could get to work.
âAnd please, put your pants on Louis!â
âââ
A few hours had passed and Harry had an array of cookies spread along their dining room table. There were ginger snaps, chocolate chip, sugar cookie, pepper cookies, even an assortment of chocolate and red velvet cake pops Harry had wanted to try out because he thought they would be cute once decorated.
Another two trays were still baking in the over when Louis brought his dishes from lunch into the kitchen to wash them.
Louis didnât realize Harry was baking enough to feed all of Los Angeles today, âBabe?â Yelled Louis, trying to see where Harry was in their house as he wasnât in the kitchen.
Harry rounded the corner with Doris in his arms, âhey baby, how was your lunch?â He pecked Louis on the lips, letting him scratch at Dorisâ ear. Their animals always loved Louis so much, it made Harryâs heart so happy.
âIt was really good babe, thank you.â Louis continued scratching Dorisâ chin, âBut what is all this? Are you trying to feed the entire city?â Louis chuckled, not thinking much of it.
Harryâs face flushed as he set Doris down, âI was actually thinkingâŠ.we could maybe have some fun?â He pulled Louis closer to him, belly pressed up against his abs making his insides flip and roll with want.
âFun you say?â Louis smirked, maybe he wasnât as oblivious to what he thought was coming next.
âHow about...you go take a seat at the table, and Iâll get some tinsel yeah? How does that sound cutie pie?â Harry nuzzled his nose against Louis with a smile on his flushed face.
âFuck YES, okay okay Iâll go.â Louis said excited with a smile.
âAnd Louis?â Harry stopped before grabbing his husband's arm.
âWill you go put on that lace bodysuit for me?â Harry smiled softly.
Louis ran up the stairs as fast as he could to pull the soft lace along his body. He had a few different lace pieces that Harry had hand sewn for him to wear because he liked them so much. A few had to be retired because he could no longer pull them above his thighs and bum, this one not too far behind as it stretched against the curve of his belly. Louis tied up the sides, as there were ribbons connecting them tied up in cross cross patterns.
Louis made his way downstairs to find candles lit and all the blinds shut to mimic the darkness of the night sky, the Christmas lights on their tree turned on to set the mood.
Harry stood in the center of the dining room with a string of tinsel in his hands, stripped down to just his boxers and undershirt.
Louis was breathless at the scene with excitement, âwe really are a kinky bunch for doing this in the middle of the dayâ Louis said as he made his way to Harry, slipping his arms around the younger boys tiny waist.
âYou know Harry, you could stand to put on a few tooâ Louis giggled, poking Harry right in the stomach.
âHonestly, I was thinking about that earlier today.â Harry said with a smile as he lent down to press a kiss to Louisâ lips.
âWait, really? The fittest fashion designer in Hollywood?â Louis pulled back with surprise.
âI meanâŠ.we only live once donât we? Maybe Iâm a little tired of being so LA fit all the time. I donât know, weâll talk about it later.â Harry said lifting the tinsel, âwhy donât you pick a spot for me to tie up these pretty hands, hmm?â
âCan we do this on the couch? Put a nice movie on, relax?â Louis said, âaâŠ.little bit of mindless eating?â His cheeks flushed, and a hunger was beginning to burn in him for this scene to get started.
âOf course baby, you go put a movie on you like, and Iâll get the cookies ready for you.â Harry pecked him on the cheek, leaving Louis to sit on the couch and open Netflix.
When Harry came back over Louis was all set up comfy against the couch cushions ready to be manhandled.
âGive me your wrists baby.â Harry said sweetly, tying the small hands behind Louisâ back. âThere we go, now if you get uncomfortable you tell me okay?â Harry kissed down Louisâ chest as he nodded in agreement.
Harry began lifting cookies to Louisâ thin soft lips, who munched happily on each different kind and flavor Harry baked up. It was almost routine, Louis would take bites of the cookie, Harry would pat his belly, survey the lace tie up on the sides, and Louis would be onto the next few cookies.
It was around his 10th or 11th treat he was starting to feel a little constrained in the bodysuit, his belly pressing up against the lace, the sides tugging tightly against his skin as he took deep breaths in between each treat. He wasnât near full yet, just a littleâŠ.well, tied up.
It wasnât until Louis took a breather after the 17th cookie, which happened to be gingerbread, that Louis felt something rip on his side.
âKnew this one wasnât gonna last much longer.â Louis grunted out as he took a thankful deep breath, his stomach expanding with new found room.
Harry was on him in seconds, rubbing Louisâ tummy in big gentle circles, pressing down here and there to hear Louis make a little noise of discomfort or pleasure depending on where the spot was.
âYou look so good like this Loubear.â Harry was breathless watching this scene play out, his dick straining in his boxers watching Louis shamelessly eat all of these treats, his belly swelling forward to find room for everything he was trying to cram in it.
âYouâre really too sweet.â Louis smiled softly and closed his eyes for a moment, a soft burp making its way out that Louis was grateful for.
âI bet you belly is starting to feel a little full, huh baby boy? Youâre doing so good for meâ Harry pecked his cheek, âcanât believe you were this hungry.â
Louis wasnât really full yet, so he decided to press Harryâs buttons, âStill am baby, not full yetâ Louis smiled wide using his head to point to the cookie tray, âThe gingerbread are really good, can I have another?â Louis locked eyes with Harry and Harry thought he might combust then and there.
âOf course baby, anything for my big boy.â Harry pressed the gingerbread to Louis' mouth, Louis making a show of biting off a piece and chewing it slowly.
âWonât be able to finish all these if you eat that slow baby, your tummyâll catch up to you.â Harry said softly as he gripped underneath Louisâ stomach giving it a small squeeze, running his hand down further to rest it on top of Louisâ hardening cock.
They continued on as Louis zoned out on the movie, getting up to about the 25th cookie when he had to readjust his sitting position to make room.
âCan you untie my hands baby? Wanna lay back to make more room.â Louis said sweetly, Harry setting the cookie they were working on down to relieve Louisâ hands of their constraints.
âThere we go, thank you.â Louis said as he brought his own hands to his rounded stomach, the tie on the other side of the bodysuit barely staying with the pressure it was being put against.
âAnything for you baby.â Harry brought the cookie back to Louisâ mouth, eager to watch him finish this tray at least.
Louis positioned himself so he was laying with his upper body propped up against the armrest of their couch, Harry hovering over top of his with his legs straddling Louisâ thighs as he continued to feed him treat after treat. He would duck down occasionally to kiss at Louisâ laced covered skin, or move his legs up so his thighs were pressing against both sides of the other boys belly, earning a soft huff or grunt from Louis as more pressure was added to his already packed tight stomach.
By the time the boys got to the last cookie, Louis was finally ready to call it.
âLast one baby, Iâm so proud of you, look at how good you did.â Harry said as he raised the final pepper cookie to Louisâ lips.
âThank godâ Louis said softly as he took the cookie in his mouth, chewing it slowly before swallowing. He brought his hands up and rested them on top of his belly that was now swollen and firm, 30 or so cookies stuffed inside of him.
âHow does my baby boy feel? Hmm? Your belly feels,â Harry pressed down softly, âa little tight, you must be uncomfortable.â He pressed a soft kiss to Louisâ lips, earning a soft smile and Louisâ huffing out a breath once their lips were parted.
âshame I donât wanna move right now cause I really, really want you to fuck me Harry.â Louisâ eyes were dark when he opened them, his left hand trailing as far as he could to find his cock, but his swollen belly was in the way of him reaching it.
âMmmmm, I can fix that baby, you just relax for a few minutes okay. Look at you, my big beautiful husband. This belly is just,â Harry pulled the tie on the other side that had miraculously not come undone, âso precious, donât you think? Remember when you used to be so small and thin, we never had this much fun.â Harry then untied the halter holding the bodysuit up around Louisâ neck, pulling the fabric down. âYou always have been handsome but this? This is soâŠ..sexy.â Harryâs mouth was basically watering as he finally got his hands on Louisâ soft, stretched skin. Stretch marks were subtly visible sitting along Louisâ plush hips from the weight he had gained so quickly months ago, something Harry took a lot of pride in.
âHarrrryyyyyyyâ Louis whined as Harry pressed a soft hand against Louisâ very hard cock. âPlease IâŠ.I canât.â Louis huffed out.
âTell me about it, sweetheart, tell me all about it.â Harry egged him on as he pulled the body suit off of Louis, past his belly, his bum, dragging it down his legs and throwing it on the floor narrowly missing a candle or two. With his belly now free, Louis took as deep a breath as he could manage and ran his hands along his skin, Harryâs joining them by running up and down his soft sides.
âI am so lucky.â Harry said as he leaned down for an absolute bruising kiss with his very full boy. His thigh brushed against Louisâ dick, making the older boy moan into his mouth as the contact.
âWant me to take care of you? Know you canât do it yourself, not right now with this in your way huh?â Harry teased, lightly smacking the side of Louisâ stomach.
âStop. Teasing. IâmâŠ..very hard and very full. Need you. now.â Louis huffed up before he went to nip at Harryâs lower lip.
Harryâs hand trailed down to Louisâ hard member earning another moan from the boy, he reached under the couch where he had stashed the bottle of lube for this scene in particular.
âGonna take care of you baby, donât worry.â Harry whispered as he spread the lube onto his palms, one hand softly tugging at his husband's dick and the other hand going to his rim. This was one of Harryâs favorite things, watching Louis absolutely lose it while stuffed to the brim. He knew Louis got some type of high from being stuffed, adding to that Harry pounding into him? Louis turned into a right mess as the joined sensations.
2 fingers in and Louisâ began squirming beginning for more, his own hands laying softly on his belly. âh..Harry, please, more.â Louis panted out, not sure whether to chase the feeling of Harryâs hand softly rubbing his dick or the now 3 fingers in his bum.
It continued on like this for a few minutes, Louis rubbing his own belly through the process to try and get some relief from the pressure packed in there, a soft whining echoing through the house as Harry gave him what he needed with his fingers.
âHarry, Iâm ready, Iâm ready now.â Louis grunted out, âget on with it please.â
âOkay baby, gonna be gentle, donât wanna hurt you or your tummy.â Harry pressed a kiss to the stretched skin before him, Louis now laying flat on the couch as his belly rounded out like a mountain of sorts on top of the older boy.
Harry slowly entered Louis, inch by inch, Louis was right gagging for him to bottom out as fast as he could and knew Harry was only being gentle, but he needed this as bad as he needed to be stuffed. There was something about being controlled in such a way by Harry that couldnât compare to anything else.
âHarry.â Louis said, eyes shut tight when his husband finally bottomed out, âfucking move.â
At that Harry began his venture of picking up pace as he moved in and out of Louis, trying to be as gentle as possible considering Louisâ state. Every time Harry would jostle the blue eyed boy's belly, Louis would whine a little more at the feeling, grabbing at his belly to steady himself. That and him panting from not doing any of the work besides taking him so well was making Harry feel hot all over.
âHarry I, Iâm gonna comeâŠ..please, pleasepleasepleaseplease can I come.â Louisâ voice raised higher and higher with each please rushed out of him, his back arching for what it could with the weight of his stomach holding him down.
Harry laid a hand on Louisâ belly as his other hand gripped onto the arm rest for more support as he thrust in harder, making sure he kept contact on his boys prostate.
âOf course baby boy, come whenever you can.â Harry said before a particularly hard thrust in as he watched Louisâ eyes roll back in pleasure as his orgasm crashed into him.
âHARRY, I fuckingcantbelieveiâ Louisâ jumbled swear words were shouted through the house as Harry worked Louisâ through his orgasm, chasing his own release. It wasnât hard when he watched Louis reach down and grip his own belly with two hands as he panted and squirmed under him from the pleasure, Harryâs orgasm rushed through him upon seeing the sight.
Making sure he didnât fall on top of the stuffed boy underneath him, he collapsed to the side of Louis, a panting mess himself after the show he had just watched his husband put on.
âLouis youâŠ.â Harry reached his hand over to turn Louisâ mouth to his, kissing him, âare so hot what the fuck.â He finished as he rested a hand on top of Louisâ belly, drawing soft circles with his fingers.
âYeah, butâ Louis went in for another kiss, sighing into the younger boy's mouth when he caught his tongue, âyou, youâre so beautiful Harry. How did I get so lucky all those years ago.â
Both boys laid there for what felt like forever wrapped in each otherâs arms sharing lazy kisses waiting for their heart rates to return to normal. Harry loved the feeling of Louisâ belly pressed up against his own, the blue eyed boys head tucked under his chin as he raked his fingers through the chestnut hair.
âJesus Christ, Merry early Christmas huhâ

Summer 2020âČs Movies - My Top Ten Favourite Films (Part 2)
10. Â BODY CAM â in the face of the current pandemic, viral outbreak cinema has become worryingly prescient lately, but as COVID led to civil unrest there were a couple of films in this summer that REALLY seemed to me to put their finger on the pulse of another particularly shitty zeitgeist. Â Admittedly this one highlights a problem thatâs been around for a good while, but it came along at just the right time to gain particularly strong resonance, filtering its message into the most reliable form of allegorical social commentary â horror. Â The vengeful ghost trope has become pretty familiar over the past decade or so, but by marrying it with the corrupt cop thriller veteran horror screenwriter Nicholas McCarthy (The Pact) has given it a nice fresh spin, and the end result was, for me, a real winner. Â Mary J. Blige plays troubled LAPD cop Renee Lomito-Smith, back on the beat after an extended hiatus following a particularly harrowing incident, just as fellow officers from her own precinct begin to die violent deaths under mysterious circumstances, and the only clues are weird, haunting camera footage that only Renee and her new partner, rookie Danny Holledge (Paper Towns and Death Noteâs Natt Wolff), manage to see before it inexplicable wipes itself. Â Something supernatural is stalking the City of Angels at night, and itâs got a serious grudge against local cops as the increasingly disturbing investigation slowly brings an act of horrific police brutality to light, until Renee no longer knows who in her department she can trust. Â This is one of the most insidious scare-fests Iâve enjoyed so far this year, sophomore director Malik Vitthal (Imperial Dreams) weaving an effective atmosphere of pregnant dread and wire-taut suspense while delivering some impressively hair-raising shocks (the stunning minimart sequence is the filmâs undeniable highlight), while the ghostly threat is cleverly thought-out and skilfully brought to âlifeâ. Â Blige delivers another top-drawer performance, giving Renee a winning combination of wounded fragility and steely resolve that makes for a particularly compelling hero, while Wolff invests Danny with skittish uncertainty and vulnerability in one of his strongest performances to date, and Dexter star David Zayas brings interesting moral complexity to the role of their put-upon superior, Sergeant Kesper. Â In these times of heightened social awareness, when the policeâs star has become particularly tarnished as unnecessary force, racial profiling and cover-ups have become major hot-button topics, the power and relevance of this particular slice of horror cinema cannot be denied.
9.  BLOOD QUANTUM â it certainly has been a great year for horror, and for most of the summer this was the genre leader, a compellingly fresh take on the zombie outbreak genre with a killer hook.  Canadian writer-director Jeff Barnaby (Rhymes for Young Ghouls) has always clung close to his Native American roots, and he brings strong social relevance to the intriguing early 80s Canadian setting as a really nasty zombie virus wreaks havoc in the Red Crow Indian Reservation and its neighbouring town.  It soon becomes clear, however, that members of the local tribe are immune to the infection, a revelation with far-reaching consequences as the outbreak rages unchecked and society begins to crumble.  Barnaby pulls off some impressive world-building and creates a compellingly grungy post-apocalyptic vibe as the story progresses, while the zombies themselves are a visceral, scuzzy bunch, and thereâs plenty of cracking set-pieces and suitably full-blooded kills to keep the gore-hounds happy, while the horror has real intelligence behind it, the script posing interesting questions and delivering some uncomfortable answers.  The characters, meanwhile, are a well-drawn, complex bunch, no black-and-white saviours among them, any one of them capable of some pretty inhuman horrors when the chips are down, and the cast, an interesting mix of seasoned talent and unknowns, all excel in their roles â Michale Greyeyes (Fear the Walking Dead) and Forrest Goodluck (The Revenant) are the closest things the film has to real heroes, the former a fallible everyman as Traylor, the small-town sheriff whoâs just trying to do right by his family, the latter unsure of himself as his son, put-upon teenage father-to-be Joseph; meanwhile, Olivia Scriven is tough but vulnerable as his pregnant white girlfriend Charlie, Stonehorse Lone Goeman is a grizzled badass as tough-as-nails tribal elder Gisigu, and Kiowa Gordon (probably best known for playing a werewolf in the Twilight movies) really goes to the dark side as Josephâs delinquent half-brother Lysol, while thereâs a memorably subtle turn from Dead Manâs Gary Farmer as unpredictable loner Moon.  This is definitely one of the yearâs darkest films â by and large playing the horror straight, it tightens the screws as the situation grows steadily worse, and almost makes a virtue of wallowing in its hopeless tone â but thereâs a fatalistic charm to all the bleakness, even in the downbeat yet tentatively hopeful climax, while itâs hard to deny the ruthless efficiency of the violence on display. This certainly isnât a horror movie for everyone, but those with a strong stomach and relatively hard heart will find much to enjoy here.  Jeff Barnaby is definitely gonna be one to watch in the future ⊠Â
8.  PALM SPRINGS â the summerâs comedy highlight kind of snuck in under the radar, becoming something of an on-demand secret weapon with all the cinemas closed, and it definitely deserves its swiftly growing cult status.  You certainly canât possibly believe itâs the feature debut of director Max Barbakow, who shows the kind of sharp-witted, steady-handed control of his craft thatâs usually the province of far more experienced talents ⊠then again, much of the credit must surely go to seasoned TV comedy writer Andy Siara (Lodge 49), for whom this has been a real labour of love heâs been tending since his film student days.  Certainly all that care, nurture and attention to detail is up there on the screen, the exceptional script singing its irresistible siren song from the start and providing fertile ground for its promising new director to spread his own creative wings.  The premise may be instantly familiar â playing like a latter-day Saturday Night Live take on Groundhog Day (Siara admits it was a major influence), it follows the misadventures of Sarah (How I Met Your Motherâs Cristin Miliota), the black sheep maid of honour at her sweet little sister Talaâs (Riverdaleâs Camila Mendes) wedding to seemingly perfect hunk Abe (Supergirlâs Superman, Tyler Hoechlin), as she finds herself repeating the same high-stress day over and over again after being trapped in a mysterious cosmic time-loop along with slacker misanthrope Nyles (Brooklyn Nine Nine megastar Andy Samberg), whoâs been stuck in this same situation for MUCH longer â but in Barbakow and Siaraâs hands it feels fresh and intriguing, and goes in some surprising new directions before the well-worn central premise can outstay its welcome.  It certainly doesnât hurt that the cast are uniformly excellent â Miliota is certainly the pounding emotional heart of the film, effortlessly lovable as she flounders against her lot, then learns to accept the unique possibilities it presents, before finally resolving to find a way out, while Samberg has rarely been THIS GOOD, truly endearing in his sardonic apathy as it becomes clear heâs been stuck like this for CENTURIES, and they make an enjoyably fiery couple with snipey chemistry to burn; meanwhile thereâs top-notch support from Mendes and Hoechlin, The OCâs Peter Gallagher as Sarah and Talaâs straight-laced father, the ever-reliable Dale Dickey, a thoroughly adorable turn from Jena Freidman and, most notably, a full-blooded scene-stealing performance from the mighty J.K. Simmonds as Roy, Nylesâ nemesis, who he inadvertently trapped in the loop before Sarah and is, understandably, none too happy about it.  This really is an absolute laugh-riot, todayâs more post-modern sense of humour allowing the central pair (and their occasional enemy) to indulge in even more extreme consequence-free craziness than Bill Murray ever got away with back in the day, but like all the best comedies thereâs also a strong emotional foundation under the humour, leading us to really care about these people and what happens to them, while the story throws moments of true heartfelt power at us, particularly in the deeply cathartic climax.  Ultimately this was one of the summerâs biggest surprises, a solid gold gem that I canât recommend enough.
7.  THE LAST DAYS OF AMERICAN CRIME â the summerâs other heavyweight Zeitgeist fondler is a deeply satirical chunk of speculative dystopian sci-fi clearly intended as a cinematic indictment of Trumpâs broken America, but it became far more potent and prescient in these ⊠ahem ⊠troubled times.  Adapted by screenwriter Karl Gadjusek (Oblivion, Stranger Things, The Kingâs Man) from the graphic novel by Rick Remender and Greg Tocchini for underrated schlock-action cinema director Olivier Megaton (Transporter 3, Colombiana, the last two Taken films), this Netflix original feature seemed like a fun way to kill a cinema-deprived Saturday night in the middle of the Lockdown, but ultimately proved to have a lot more substance than expected.  Itâs powered by an intriguing premise â in a nearly lawless 2024, the US government is one week away from implementing a nationwide synaptic blocker signal called the API (American Peace Initiative) which will prevent the public from being able to commit any kind of crime â and focuses on a strikingly colourful bunch of outlaw antiheroes with an audacious agenda â prodigious Detroit bank robber Bricke (Ădgar RamirĂ©z) is enlisted by Kevin Cash (Funny Games and Hannibalâs Michael Carmen Pitt), a wayward scion of local crime family the Dumois, and his hacker fiancĂ©e Shelby Dupree (Material Girlâs Anna Brewster) to pull off whatâs destined to be the last great crime in American history, a daring raid on the night of the signal to steal over a billion dollars from the Motor Cityâs âmoney factoryâ and then escape across the border into Canada.  From this deceptively simple premise a sprawling action epic was born, carried along by a razor sharp, twisty script and Megatonâs typically hyperbolic, showy auteur directing style and significant skill at crafting thrillingly explosive set-pieces, while the cast consistently deliver quality performances.  RamirĂ©z has long been one of those actors I really love to watch, a gruff, quietly intense alpha male whose subtle understatement hides deep reserves of emotional intensity, while Dupree takes a character who could have been a thinly-drawn femme fetale and invests her with strong personal drive and steely resolve, and thereâs strong support from Neil Blomkampf regulars Sharlto Copley and Brandon Auret as, respectively, emasculated beat cop Sawyer and brutal Mob enforcer Lonnie French, as well as a nearly unrecognisable Patrick Bergin as local kingpin (and Kevinâs father) Rossi Dumois; the film is roundly stolen, however, by Pitt, a phenomenal actor Iâve always thought we just donât see enough of, here portraying a spectacularly sleazy, unpredictable force of nature who clearly has his own dark agenda, but whom we ultimately canât help rooting for even as he stabs us in the back.  This is a cracking film, a dark and dangerous thriller of rare style and compulsive verve that I happily consider to be Megatonâs best film to date BY FAR â needless to say it was a major hit for Netflix when it dropped, clearly resonating with its audience given whatâs STILL going on in the real world, and while it may have been roundly panned in reviews I think, like some of the platformâs other more glossy Original hits (Bright springs to mind), itâs destined for a major critical reappraisal and inevitable cult status before too long âŠ
6.  HAMILTON â arriving just as Black Lives Matter reached fever-pitch levels, this feature presentation of the runaway Broadway musical smash-hit could not have been better timed.  Shot over three nights during the showâs 2016 run with the original cast and cut together with specially created âsetup shotsâ, itâs an immersive experience that at once puts you right in amongst the audience (at times almost a character themselves, never seen but DEFINITELY heard) but also lets you experience the action up close.  And what action â itâs an incredible show, a thoroughly fascinating piece of work that reads like something very staid and proper on paper (an all-encompassing biographical account of the life and times of American Founding Father Alexander Hamilton) but, in execution, becomes something very different and EXTREMELY vital.  The execution certainly couldnât be further from the usual period biopic fare this kind of historical subject matter usually gets (although in the face of recent top-notch revisionist takes like Marie Antoinette, The Great and Tesla itâs not SO surprising), while the cast is not at all what youâd expect â with very few notable exceptions the cast is almost entirely people of colour, despite the fact that the real life individuals theyâre playing were all very white indeed.  That said, every single one of them is an absolute revelation â the showâs writer-composer Lin-Manuel Miranda (already riding high on the success of In the Heights) carries the central role of Hamilton with effortless charm and raw star power, Leslie Odom Jr. (Smash, Murder On the Orient Express) is duplicitously complex as his constant nemesis Aaron Burr, Christopher Jackson (In the Heights, Moana, Bull) oozes integrity and nobility as his mentor and friend George Washington, Phillipa Soo is sweet and classy as his wife Eliza while RenĂ©e Elise Goldsberry (The Immortal Life of Henrietta Jacks, Altered Carbon) is fiery and statuesque as her sister Angelica Schuyler (the one who got away), and Jonathan Groff (Mindhunter) consistently steals every scene heâs in as fiendish yet childish fan favourite King George III; ultimately, however, the show (and the film) belongs to veritable powerhouse Daveed Diggs (Blindspotting, TVâs Snowpiercer) in a spectacular duel role, starting subtly but gaining scene-stealing momentum as French Revolutionary Gilbert du Motier, the Marquis de Lafayette, before EXPLODING onto the stage in the second half as indomitable eventual American President Thomas Jefferson.  Not having seen the stage show, I was taken completely by surprise by this, revelling in its revisionist genius and offbeat, quirky hip-hop charm, spellbound by the skilful ease with which is takes the sometimes quite dull historical fact and skews it into something consistently entertaining and absorbing, transported by the catchy earworm musical numbers and thoroughly tickled by the delightfully cheeky sense of humour strung throughout (at least when I wasnât having my heart broken by moments of raw dramatic power). Altogether itâs a pretty unique cinematic experience I wish I could have actually gotten to see on the big screen, and one Iâve consistently recommended to all my friends, even the ones who donât usually like musicals.  As far as Iâm concerned it doesnât need a proper Les MisĂ©rables style screen adaptation â this is about as perfect a presentation as the show could possibly hope for.
5.  SPUTNIK â the summerâs horror highlight (despite SERIOUSLY tough competition) is a guaranteed sleeper hit that I almost totally missed, stumbling across the trailer one day on YouTube and being completely bowled over by its potential, prompting me to hunt it down by any means necessary.  The feature debut of Russian director Egor Abramenko, this first contact sci-fi chiller is about as far from E.T. as itâs possible to get, sharing some of the same DNA as Carpenterâs The Thing but proudly carving its own path with consummate skill and definitely signalling great things to come from its brand new helmer and relative unknown screenwriters Oleg Malovichko and Andrei Zolotarev.  Oksana Akinshina (probably best known in the West for her powerful climactic cameo in The Bourne Supremacy) is the beating heart of the film as neurophysiologist Tatyana Yuryevna Klimova, brought in to aid in the investigation in the Russian wilderness circa 1983 after an orbital research mission goes horribly wrong.  One of the cosmonauts dies horribly, while the other, Konstantin (The Duelistâs Pyotr Fyodorov) seems unharmed, but it quickly becomes clear that heâs now playing host to something decidedly extraterrestrial and potentially terrifying, and as Tatyana becomes more deeply embroiled in her assignment she comes to realise that her superiors, particularly mysterious Red Army project leader Colonel Semiradov (The PyraMMMidâs Fyodor Bondarchuk), have far darker plans for Konstantin and his new âfriendâ than she could ever imagine.  This is about as dark, intense and nightmarish as this particular sub-genre gets, a magnificently icky body horror that slowly builds its tension as weâre gradually exposed to the various truths and the awful gravity of the situation slowly reveals itself, punctuated by skilfully executed shocks and some particularly horrifying moments when the evils inflicted by the humans in charge prove to be far worse than anything the alien can do, while the ridiculously talented writers have a field day pulling the rug out from under us again and again, never going for the obvious twist and keeping us guessing right to the devastating ending, while the beautifully crafted digital creature effects are nothing short of astonishing and thoroughly creepy.  Akinshina dominates the film with her unbridled grace, vulnerability and integrity, the relationship that develops between Tatyana and Konstantin (Fyodorov delivering a beautifully understated turn belying deep inner turmoil) feeling realistically earned as it goes from tentatively wary to ultimately, tragically bittersweet, while Bondarchuk invests the Colonel with a subtly nuanced air of tarnished authority and restrained brutality that makes him one of my top screen villains for the year.  Guaranteed to go down as one of 2020âs great sleeper hits, I canât speak of this film highly enough â itâs a genuine revelation, an instant classic for whom Iâll sing its praises for the remainder of the year and beyond, and I wish utmost success to all the creative talents involved in the future.  The Invisible Man still rules the roost in the yearâs horror stakes, but this runs a VERY close second âŠ
4.  GREYHOUND â when the cinemas closed back in March, the fate of many of the major summer blockbusters weâd been looking forward to was thrown into terrible doubt. Some were pushed back to more amenable dates in the autumn or winter, others knocked back a whole year to fill summer slots for 2021, but more than a few simply dropped off the radar entirely with the terrible words âpostponed until further noticeâ stamped on them, and I lamented them all, this one in particular.  It hung in there longer than some, stubbornly holding onto its June release slot for as long as possible, but eventually it gave up the ghost too ⊠but thanks to Apple TV+, not for long, ultimately releasing less than a month later than intended.  Thankfully the final film was worth the fuss, a taut World War II suspense thriller thatâs all killer, no filler â set during the infamous Battle of the Atlantic, it portrays the constant life-or-death struggle faced by the Allied warships assigned to escort the transport convoys as they crossed the ocean, defending their charges from German U-boats.  Adapted from C.S. Foresterâs famous 1955 novel The Good Shepherd by Tom Hanks and directed by Aaron Schneider (Get Low), the narrative focuses on the crew of the escort leader, American destroyer USS Fletcher, codenamed Greyhound, and in particular its captain, Commander Ernest Krause (Hanks), a career sailor serving his first command.  As they cross âthe Pitâ, the most dangerous mid stretch of the journey where they spend days without air-cover, they find themselves shadowed by âthe Wolf Packâ, a particularly cunning group of German subs that begin to pick away at the convoyâs stragglers.  Faced with daunting odds, a dwindling supply of vital depth-charges and a ruthless, persistent enemy, Krause must make hard choices to bring his ships home safe ⊠jumping into the thick of the action within the first ten minutes and maintaining that tension for the remainder of its trim 90-minute run, this is screen suspense par excellence, a sleek textbook example of how to craft a compelling big screen knuckle-whitener with zero fat and maximum reward, delivering a series of desperate naval scraps packed with hide-and-seek intensity, heart-in-mouth near-misses and fist-in-air cathartic payoffs by the bucket-load.  Hanks is subtly magnificent, the calm centre of the narrative storm as a supposed newcomer to this battle arena who could have been BORN for it, bringing to mind the similarly unflappable turn he delivered in Captain Phillips and certainly not suffering by comparison; by and large heâs the focus point, but other crew members do make strong (if sometimes quite brief) impressions, particularly Stephen Graham as Krauseâs reliably seasoned XO, Lt. Commander Charlie Cole, The Magnificent Sevenâs Manuel Garcia-Rulfo and Just Mercyâs Rob Morgan, while Elisabeth Shue does a lot with a very small part in brief flashbacks as Krauseâs fiancĂ©e Evelyn.  Relentless, powerful, exhilarating and thoroughly unforgettable, this was one of the true action highlights of the summer, and one hell of a war flick.  Iâm so glad it made the cut for the season âŠ
3.  PROJECT POWER â with Marvel and DC pushing their tent-pole titles back into late autumn in the face of COVID, the usual superhero antics weâve come to expect over the main blockbuster season were pretty thin on the ground, leading us to find our geeky fan thrills elsewhere.  Unfortunately, pickings were frustratingly slim â Korean comic book actioner Gundala was entertaining but workmanlike, while Thor AU-take Mortal was underwhelming despite strong direction from Troll Hunterâs AndrĂ© Ăvredal, and Iâve already made my feelings clear on the frustration of The New Mutants â thank the Gods, then, for Netflix, once again riding to the rescue with this enjoyably offbeat super-thriller, which takes an intriguing central premise and really runs with it.  New designer drug Power has hit the streets of New Orleans, able to give anyone who takes it a superpower for five minutes ⊠the only problem is, until you try it, you wonât know what your own unique talent is â for some, it could mean five minutes of invisibility, or insane levels of super-strength, but other powers can be potentially lethal, the really unlucky buggers just blowing up on the spot.  Robin (The Hate U Giveâs Dominique Fishback) is a teenage Power-pusher with dreams of becoming a rap star, dealing the pills so she can help her diabetic mum; Frank Shaver (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) is one of her customers, an NOPD detective who uses his power of near invulnerability to even the playing field when powered crims cause a disturbance.  Their lives are turned upside down when Art (Jamie Foxx) arrives in town â heâs a seriously badass ex-soldier determined to hunt down the source of Power by any means necessary, and heâs not above tearing the Big Easy apart to do it.  This is a fun, gleefully infectious  rollercoaster that doesnât take itself too seriously, revelling in the anarchic potential of its premise and crafting some suitably OTT effects-driven chaos brought to pleasingly visceral fruition by its skilfully inventive director, Ariel Schulman (Catfish, Nerve, Viral), while Mattson Tomlin (the screenwriter of next yearâs incendiary DCEU headline act The Batman) takes his script in some very interesting directions and poses some fascinating questions about what Powerâs TRULY capable of.  Gordon-Levitt and Fishback are both brilliant, the latter particularly impressing in whatâs sure to be a major breakthrough role for her, and the friendship their characters share is pretty adorable, while Foxx really is a force to be reckoned with, pretty chill even when heâs in deep shit but fully capable of turning into a bona fide killing machine at the flip of a switch, and thereâs strong support from Westworldâs Rodrigo Santoro as Biggie, Powerâs delightfully oily kingpin, Courtney B. Vance as Frankâs by-the-book superior, Captain Crane, Amy Landecker as Gardner, the morally bankrupt CIA spook responsible for the drugâs production, and Machine Gun Kelly as Newt, a Power dealer whose explosive pyrotechnic âgiftâ really isnât all itâs cracked up to be.  Exciting, inventive, frequently amusing and infectiously likeable, this was some of the most uncomplicated âcinematicâ fun I had this summer.  Not bad for something which Iâm sure was originally destined to become one of the seasonâs B-list features âŠ
2.  THE OLD GUARD â Netflixâs undisputable TOP OFFERING of the summer came damn close to bagging the whole season, and I canât help thinking that even if some of the stiffer competition had still been present it may well have still finished this high. Gina Prince-Blythewood (Love & Basketball, the Secret Life of Bees) directs comics legend Greg Ruckaâs adaptation of his own popular title with uncanny skill and laser-focused visual flair considering thereâs nothing on her previous CV to suggest sheâd be THIS good at mounting a stomping good ultraviolent action thriller, ushering in this thoroughly engrossing tale of four ancient, invulnerable immortal warriors â Andy AKA Andromache of Scythia (Charlize Theron), Booker AKA Sebastian de Livre (Matthias Schoenaerts), Joe AKA Yusuf Al-Kaysani (Wolfâs Marwan Kenzari) and Nicky AKA Niccolo di Ginova (Trustâs Luca Marinelli) â whoâve been around forever, hiring out their services as mercenaries for righteous causes while jealously guarding their identities for fear of horrific experimentation and exploitation should their true natures ever be discovered.  Their anonymity is threatened, however, when theyâre uncovered by former CIA operative James Copley (Chiwetel Ejiofor), working for the decidedly dodgy pharmaceutical conglomerate run by sociopathic billionaire Steven Merrick (Harry Melling, formerly Dudley in the Harry Potter movies), who want to capture these immortals so they can patent whatever it is that makes them keep on ticking ⊠just as a fifth immortal, US Marine Nile Freeman (If Beale Street Could Talkâs KiKi Layne), awakens after being âkilledâ on deployment in Afghanistan.  The supporting players are excellent, particularly Ejiofor, smart and driven but ultimately principled and deeply conflicted about what heâs doing, even if he does have the best of intentions, and Melling, the kind of loathsome, reptilian scumbag you just love to hate, but the film REALLY DOES belong to the Old Guard themselves â Schoenaerts is a master brooder, spot-on casting as the groupâs relative newcomer, only immortal since the Napoleonic Wars but clearly one seriously old soul whoâs already VERY tired of the lifestyle, while Joe and Nicky (who met on opposing sides of the Crusades) are simply ADORABLE, an unapologetically matter-of-fact gay couple who are sweet, sassy and incredibly kind, the absolute emotional heart of the film; itâs the ladies, however, that are most memorable here.  Layne is exceptional, investing Nile with a steely intensity that puts her in good stead as her new existence threatens to overwhelm her and MORE THAN qualified to bust heads alongside her elders ⊠but itâs ancient Greek warrior Andy who steals the film, Theron building on the astounding work she did in Atomic Blonde to prove, once and for all, that thereâs no woman on Earth who looks better kicking arse than her (as Booker puts it, âthat woman has forgotten more ways to kill than entire armies will ever learnâ); in her hands, Andy truly is a goddess of death, tough as tungsten alloy and unflappable even in the face of hell itself, but underneath it all she hides a heart as big as any of her friendsâ. Theyâre an impossibly lovable bunch and you feel you could follow them on another TEN adventures like this one, which is just as well, because Prince-Blythewood and Rucka certainly put them through their paces here â the drama is high (but frequently laced with a gentle, knowing sense of humour, particularly whenever Joe and Nicky are onscreen), as are the stakes, and the frequent action sequences are top-notch, executed with rare skill and bone-crunching zest, but also ALWAYS in service to the story. Altogether this is an astounding film, a genuine victory for its makers and, it seems, for Netflix themselves â itâs become one of the platformâs biggest hits to date, earning well-deserved critical acclaim and great respect and genuine geek love from the fanbase at large. After this, a sequel is not only inevitable, itâs ESSENTIAL âŠ
1.  TENET â granted, the streaming platforms (particularly Netflix and Amazon) certainly did save our cinematic summer, but Iâm still IMMEASURABLY glad that the seasonâs ultimate top-spot winner was one I got to experience on THE BIG SCREEN.  You gotta hand it to Christopher Nolan, he sure hung in there, stubbornly determined that his latest cinematic masterpiece WOULD be released in cinemas in the summer (albeit ultimately landing JUST inside the line in the final week of August), and it was worth all the fuss because, for me, this was THE PERFECT MOVIE for me to get return to cinemas with.  I mean, okay, in the end it WASNâT the FIRST new movie I saw after the reopening, that honour went to Unhinged, but THIS was my first real Saturday night out big screen EXPERIENCE since March.  Needless to say, Nolan didnât disappoint this time any more than he has on any of his consistently spectacular previous releases, delivering another twisted, mind-boggling headfuck of a full-blooded experiential sensory overload that comes perilously close to toppling his long-standing auteur-peak, Inception (itself second only by fractions to The Dark Knight as far as Iâm concerned). To say much at all about the plot would give away major spoilers â personally Iâd recommend just going in as cold as possible, indeed you really should just stop reading this right now and just GO SEE IT.  Still with us?  Okay ⊠the VERY abridged version is that itâs about a secret war being waged between the present and the future by people capable of âinvertingâ time in substances, objects, people, whatever, into which the Protagonist (BlacKkKlansmanâs John David Washington), an unnamed CIA agent, has been dispatched in order to prevent a potential coming apocalypse. Washington is once again on top form, crafting a robust and compelling morally complex heroic lead whoâs just as comfortable negotiating the minefields of black market intrigue as he is breaking into places or dispatching heavies, Kenneth Branagh delivers one of his most interesting and memorable performances in years as brutal Russian oligarch Andrei Sator, a genuinely nasty piece of work who may be the yearâs very best screen villain, Elizabeth Debicki (The Night Manager, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Widows) brings strength, poise and wounded integrity to the role of Satorâs estranged wife, Kat, and Aaron Taylor-Johnson gets to use his own accent for once as tough-as-nails British Intelligence officer Ives, while there are brief but consistently notable supporting turns and cameos from Martin Donovan, Yesterdayâs HImesh Patel, Dirk Gentlyâs Fiona Dourif and, of course, Nolanâs good luck charm, Michael Caine.  The castâs biggest surprise, however, is Robert Pattinson, truly a revelation in what has to be, HANDS DOWN, his best role to date, Neil, the Protagonistâs mysterious handler â heâs by turns cheeky, slick, duplicitous and thoroughly badass, delivering an enjoyably multi-layered, chameleonic performance which proves what Iâve long maintained, that the former Twilight star is actually a fucking amazing actor, and on the basis of this, even without that amazing new teaser trailer making the rounds, I think the debate about whether or not heâs the right choice for the new Batman is now academic.  As weâve come to expect from Nolan, this is a TRUE tour-de-force experience, a visual masterpiece and an endlessly engrossing head-scratcher, Nolanâs screenplay bringing in some seriously big ideas and throwing us some major narrative knots and loopholes, constantly wrong-footing the viewer while also setting up truly revelatory payoffs from seemingly low-key, unimportant beginnings â this is a film you need to be awake and attentive for or you could miss something pretty vital.  The action sequences are, as ever, second to none, some of the yearâs very best set-pieces coming thick and fast and executed with some of the most accomplished skill in the business, while Nolan-regular cinematographer Hoyte van Hoytema (Interstellar and Dunkirk, as well as the heady likes of Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, SPECTRE and Ad Astra) once again shows heâs one of the best camera-wizards in the business today by delivering some truly mesmerising visuals.  Notably, Nolanâs other regular collaborator, composer Hans Zimmer, is absent here (although he has good reason, currently working on his dream project, the fast-approaching screen adaptation of Dune), but Ludwig Göransson (best known for his regular collaborations with Ryan Coogler on the likes of Fruitvale Station, Creed and Black Panther, as well as truly awesome work on The Mandalorian) makes for a fine replacement, crafting an intriguingly internalised, post-modern musical landscape that thrums and pulses in time with the story and emotions of the characters rather than the action itself. Interestingly itâs on the subject of sound that some of the filmâs rare detractions have been levelled, and I can see some of the points â the soundtrack mix is an all-encompassing thing, and there are times when the dialogue can be overwhelmed, but in Nolanâs defence as a film this is a heady, immersive experience, something you really need to concentrate on, so these potential flaws are easily forgiven.  As a piece of filmmaking art, this is another flawless wonder from one of the true masters of the craft working in cinema today, but itâs art with palpable substance, a rewarding whole that really HAS TO BE experienced on the big screen.  So put your snobbery at post-lockdown restrictions aside for the moment and get yourself down to your nearest cinema so you can experience it for yourself.  You wonât be disappointed.  Right now, this is my movie of the year, and with only one possible exception, I really donât see that changing âŠ

I swear you will get to know how the story ends but I can't promise it'll be the way you expected it :x
So... Hey guys. I bet I surprised at least a few of you by updating this fanfic, huh? I hope you won't be too disappointed... I mean, I'm sure at least some of you saw this coming, since the fanfic has been waiting for chapter 14 for practically a year and, well, I kinda "moved on" with other stories since. Sorta.
First off: I'm not giving up. I won't orphan the fanfic on AO3, delete it along with this blog, or give up updating it at all. In fact, I will be definitely giving a few more updates, hopefully sooner rather than later. It's just that these updates... won't technically be true chapters, sadly.
I've gotten more comments as of recently, here and there, on tumblr, deviantart, AO3, asking me to continue despite the fact that, well... I tried, but I can't. Not now, at least. I think said once that I wouldn't release LWtQ's plot and leave it at that, in order not to disappoint. But... Yeah, let's say I changed my mind. LWtQ is just too hard to write, too time-consuming, too nerve-wracking. Given my current situation and the fact that I'm about to start a PhD in molecular dynamics, I'm gonna be straightforward: what I need my free time to be is anything but years-long projects that take up all of my brain cells, after said brain cells already spent the entirety of the past few days/weeks/months/years working at full power. I'm not saying working on LWtQ or Pythagorean Thoughts or The Fifth Save isn't fun anymore, far from it-- I'm just saying that it's just extremely tiring, and that my physical and mental health just can't keep up with two full-time "jobs" that require my brain to work constantly.
So... I'll try to find a middle ground here. I'll reveal my notes, but in a form that lets only those who truly seek them out will get to read them -- because, y'know. Spoilers. I'll give a link to a Google Drive folder, and this folder will contain a large bunch of documents -- and those documents will be dedicated to giving either random notes I had for the fanfic, or, more importantly, a detailed summary of what I had planned for the story, chapter by chapter. I'll try to make these summaries as enjoyable to read as possible, still! Don't expect a mere checklist of things that were supposed to happen. The thing I'd ideally like those summaries to feel like is some sort of mix between one of those plot summaries you find on wikias, and a sort-of minimalistic fanfic. So, I'll try to make the text sound at least a bit engaging, but yeah the quality of the narration obviously won't be nearly as advanced as that of LWtQ.
Anyway. Those who want to seek out the story's secrets will have little trouble reading through everything I have, while those who would rather wait just have to, y'know, not click the link. (And also, very probably, not read the comments either, because I'm 99% certain that at least some of those who read the spoilers will want to talk about what happens. So be careful around the comment section from now on, just in case.)
Once again, the fact that I'm releasing those notes doesn't mean that the fanfic is abandoned for good. However... Hopefully it means I can relax a bit and feel less guilty upon extending the hiatus and ignoring the comments, until finally I can afford to continue this story for real. By the way, I am SO sorry for ignoring you if you were one of those readers who commented during the last few weeks/months. I just... I have a hard time handling the situation right now-- not just the fanfic, just pretty much everything that happens in my life to be entirely honest. With that, the guilt of disappointing, and the fact that I hate repeating myself, that's pretty much why I just... kinda didn't have the courage to answer you, I guess. Even though I make a point of never copy-pasting my messages when I'm talking to one person individually, just saying "hiatus" over and over feels like I'd be doing it anyway.
So with all that said... I'm sorry. For now, you may or may not know that I'm "rather" productive with that Hollow Knight comic/ask blog I've been running since June... It's kinda the only thing that keeps me sane right now because it's much easier to make, it's funny, it's a story that directly interacts with its readers, and it doesn't take ages to update, for once (at least until those darn readers started sending me encrypted messages in Morse code for whatever reason. Typical u_u). I guess that's why I have much less trouble working on it while working on LWtQ is so hard, despite the fact that I love both plots equally -- or even, I guess I kinda prefer LWtQ's plot, to be honest... It's more refined and complex and dives deeper into stuff. And the threat/stakes are much higher, too.
Anyway. If you've waited for long enough... Here's the link to this hellish pandora box that is my brain notes regarding this story.
>> Open the Spoilers Box <<
And now that this is out of the way... Here's how things will go from now on. So far, the only docs available in this folder are the beginning of chapter 14, as I was able to write it so far; the "first part" of the LWtQ script, which contains a summary of chapters 14 to 17; and, an extra doc that lists Dawn's online friends and is just really a list of random facts about them. In the future, I will update this fanfic regularly in order to let you know when other parts of the script are done, and a new doc that contains the summary for the next few chapters will be added to the folder.
I initially planned to release the entire thing all at once, but... Hopefully you'll soon understand why I couldn't really do that, and why it probably wouldn't have been a good idea either way. Even a summarized version of LWtQ is gonna be one hell of a mess to write, and it'd be even more painful to read if I just released everything at once.
So... Just giving you a heads up for what's coming. I also have in the works, but haven't revealed yet :
- The summary for the next chapters up until the end of the fanfic
- An overly detailed doc dedicated to just LWtQ's backstory, which will only be revealed once I'm done with the summaries
- A graph which summarizes LWtQ's timeline, because obviously time travel shenanigans tend to make things confusing. It includes the backstory mentioned above and therefore will only be revealed alongside it.
Oh, and... I know chapter 14 isn't finished, but just in case you wanted to read some fanfic stuff today, then I hope I can at least entertain you a bit with what I've already written of it.

Weekly Update Post.
(Okay, doing this a second time because tumblr bugged, I hope it works now.)Â
Soooo, I decided that I will do an update post every week, reporting on the status of what I'm writing, along with a little spoiler of what I've already written, so, spoiler alert!
As you can see I have written a lot of things, but my problem is that somehow i can't get some of my ideas down on paper, because of that i'm writing several things at the same time, but it comes to a point that i just don't know how to unfold the story, and this is annoying me a lot. I hope you understand why I haven't posted anything recently.

- No, you better stay here, it's safer.Â
- But-Â
- No, you will stay here, it is the best, and you know it. - He approaches me and I get up from the couch and stand in front of him.Â
- Okay⊠just be careful.Â
- I promise. - He takes my hand and kisses it softly, he always did that when he promised me something. - I'll be back tomorrow, okay?Â

Words written so far: 2693Â
Status: Last edition a week ago (or are there two? I don't remember)/ Writing block / Little hiatus / May I need to rewrite.
Spoiler: I had my suspicions that this was supposed to be a gift from Jason, since he was the only option for me to have left a gift on our bed, but why would he give me a gift? Maybe I was wrong and he just left it there to deliver to someone else later.Â
Dinosaur Trainer (DT) - Chapter 2Â
Words written so far: 5827
Status: Last edition yesterday / Little Tiny Writing Block / Thinking about what the other characters would say is a very difficult task.
Spoiler:
- Owen Grady, it's nice to meet you. - He extends his hand, I shake it too and return the smile.Â
- It's a pleasure to meet you, Mr. Grady. - We pulled our hands away, and again, I don't know how I didn't stutter to answer.Â
- Call me Owen. - I nod, and muttered an "ok", he greeted Mr. Masrani and then the four of us sit at the round table, Simon was still sitting across from me, with Hoskins at his left side, and Owen standing between Hoskins and me. Kodi continued to lie on my left side, occasionally taking cold water from the glass bowl.Â

Outer Space is the Limit (OSitL) - Chapter 1Â
Words written so far: 3450Â
Status: Last edition 5 days ago / Little Writing Block
Spoiler:
- I am Groot! - That being on my leg raised its head looking at me with big eyes, and in a way I found it kind of cute? Okay, maybe that was weird. Peter approaches me and crouches in front of me, close to where was what it said was Groot.
- Well, it seems to me that you already knew Groot - Peter removes the small being from my leg and puts it on his shoulder, and then offers his hand which I took nervously, and then he helps me to stand again.Â
- I am groot! - The little one raises its hands in the air when saying its name animatedly.Â
There's an alien in my bed (TAB) - Chapter 1Â

- If he really cared about me, he wouldn't have left me without telling me. - I whisper, saying it more to myself than to anyone else. Â
Ideas I had but I don't know when or if I will actually writeÂ
Passengers - Jim Preston x reader
What I have in mind: Six months after Jim Preston woke up, another hibernation capsule gave problem, y/n l/n awakens from hibernation almost 90 years before reaching Homestead II, when she woke up everything looked confused, but it got worse when she didn't see anyone there, if they were about to arrive at Homestead II, how was she the only one awake? Or she thought she was the only one awake, until she finds Jim Preston.Â
Back to the Wild West (BWW)- The Magnificent Seven - Joshua Faraday x reader
What I have in mind: Y/n L/n and Marty Collins are fanatical about the Back to the Future trilogy, and when the boredom of Social Isolation due to the pandemic hits them, Marty, who is a scientist, decides that he would create a time machine, of course y/n said he was crazy to think that would be possible, but he did, but then regret knocks on his door when he makes it work, that would be a mistake, they would have to destroy it, leave no trace and not let anyone know. But y/n had other plans, she wanted to go back to the wild west, just stay a day or two to see what it was like and then come back. Marty hesitantly accepted, and so they took what was needed and y/n went back to the wild west, but she ends up getting stuck there, how would she get back to her time? What wrong could happen?Â
PrattPack Imagines/Oneshots/Headcanons.Â
I'm kind of stealing the idea from @im-an-octopus where she does some headcanon about some Chris Pratt's characters, and I really wanted to do something like that, but I don't know if I'm really going to do this or when I'm going to do this, but it's been on my mind for a few days now. (And maybe accept requests from them)
Characters that would include:
Peter Quill
Owen Grady
Josh Faraday
Jim PrestonÂ
Andy Dwyer (maybe, I need to watch more Parks and Recreation to find out more about him)
Onward - Barley Lightfoot x Reader
I'm divided into three ideas, and I donât know if I write them all or choose only one.Â
First: Y/n is a mermaid, coming from a special lineage with several stories, and perhaps one of the only families that continues with her ancient traditions, so she along with her father, mother and brother ended up moving away from the rest of the family and moving to Mushroom Town, but when she finds out that her family is in danger, an unknown person says that she must find two people, a wizard and a knight, she was very confused because of this, and said that wizards no longer exist, but not long after she sees a news about Ian Lightfoot she went to find him, because she believed he was who that unknown person was talking to.
Maybe this will be a long journey. What surprises await for you?
(both the second and the third would happen kind of in an AU where it happens in the real world, and everyone is human)
Second: Y/n is new to the city, and is in the penultimate year of High School, she feels out of place and alone, in the beginning some people even tried to be friends with her, but when y/n realized that they were assholes she walked away and decided it was better to be alone, who needs friends, right? Everything seemed to be going well, or at least the best possible, until school literature work needed to be done in pairs, the pairs were drawn and she ended up with Barley Lightfoot, she wasn't very comfortable with that, not because of the things she had heard about him, but because she really didn't want to do that to other people, because she was afraid that she could do something and he would end up making fun of her and she would suffer again, but things were much better than she expected and maybe that was the beginning of a new friendship? Or something else?Â
Third: Y/n's younger brother got hooked by QoY, and because of that, he and his friends would go to an event that would take place in the city, where it would be kind of a rpg but with everyone acting and dressing properly instead of being on the board, with their father traveling, y/n is responsible for taking his brother there and waiting until everything is over, but maybe with some events the heart of y/n will end up being stolen by a handsome knight.Â

Merry Christmas everyone!!! hope you enjoy your present: this fic!! I donât own anything :) and as always, i take prompts!! two weeks until the winter hiatus is over!!!
âââââ
With Book on the ground, Hailey felt her guard begin to lower. This caused her adrenaline to decrease as well.
âShit,â She swore, raising her hand to clutch her head. She didnât remember hitting her head when the car crashed, but nonetheless the pain was excruciating.
Her hand was covered with blood when she brought it back down.
Well, this wasnât good.
Cameron was then in her line of vision. âFuck, Hailey,â His hand reached out to touch her forehead.
She was sure he meant well, but his touch made the pain even worse.
âIâm fine.â She stepped away from him, not having the heart to tell him that his comforting didnât help. She even had to bite her cheek to keep herself from making a noise from the pain.
âYou should go to a hospitalââ
She probably should. But they literally were in the middle of a case, for god sakes a dead man was a few feet away from them, so she wasnât in any hurry.
Before she could brush off his concerns again, the rest of Intelligence showed up. Well, more like Jay showed up and got into Cameronâs face.
âWhat was that?â Jay demanded, pushing her CI in the chest.
âWoah man, I didnât do anythingââ
âWhat was that?â Cameron was ignored, as Jay repeated his question. But it was clear he wasnât looking for an answer, paying no mind to any rebuttal coming out of Cameronâs mouth.
âYou put her in dangerââ
While she was hoping a distraction would deter attention away from her injury, this wasnât exactly what she had in mind. In fact she would rather be getting checked out at Chicago Med than witness her partner and CI fighting in the middle of a crime scene.
âI didnât know he was gonna do that!â
âWell you should have!â
Without considering the consequences, Hailey inserted herself between Jay and Cameron and gave her own push to Jayâs chest.
âYou need to calm down!â It was louder than intended, given the environment, but necessary due to Jayâs intensity.
The yelling from Jay stopped. His pissed off expression on his face began to change as he realized Hailey was in front of him instead of Cameron.
Of course his attention went straight to her forehead. Before she could attempt to convince him that she was fine, his fingers were already holding her cheek.
His fingers felt featherlight against her skin. Almost that she wouldnât have been able to tell they were there if he wasnât tilting her head gently to the side to get a better look at her cut.
She couldnât keep her face from reddening. The combination of Jayâs hand against her cheek and the amount of people around witnessing made her feel incredibly vulnerable.
âItâs just a cut, Jay.â
His fingers gently prodded around her wound. At one point he pressed too much for her comfort, causing her to let out a small gasp of pain.
âSorry.â He softly murmured, dropping his hand. His mouth was twisted down into a frown. âYou need to go to the hospital though.â
She extended an olive branch. âIâll go after shift,â Not wanting to discuss her injury any further, she turned her attention to the dead Book.
She presumed someone had already called the incident in. And while she was aware of the toxic chemicals that had been exposed, she still took a cautious step forward, wanting to get a better look for the sake of the case.
But when she took that step, she stumbled. Jayâs hand quickly wrapped around her arm, preventing her from meeting the pavement.
âYeah, weâre going to the hospital.â There was finality in his voice.
Hailey didnât resist being guided to one of their cars. She wasnât happy about going to the hospital, being prodded at and cared for, but knew she couldnât do her job in this condition.
When he tried to help her get in though, she stopped him. âI can get in by myself.â She told him, barely managing to keep her frustration out of her voice.
She hated being prodded over. She knew Jay was just concerned, and she appreciated that, but it was easy for her to get irritated despite the good intentions.
He stepped back with his hands up, giving her space. And, to Haileyâs relief, didnât say anything when she took her time getting in.
That was one of the things she loved about Jay. He cared but at the same time gave her space and trusted her to make her own decisions.
As soon as she relaxed into the seat she was able to discern the pain she was feeling more accurately. She thought it was from her cut, but realized she felt it through her entire head.
She started to lean her head against the window and close her eyes. Jayâs hand shot out to grab her thigh, jolting her back to her original position.
âDonât sleep.â He didnât even have the audacity to look at her when he made the order, looking to his left as he made a turn.
Ignoring how good his hand wrapped around her thigh felt, Hailey focused on his words and replied back with irritation. âI was just resting my eyes.â
Jay was unfazed by her bite. âYou canât go to sleep after having a head injury.â He pointed out, finally turning his head to face her.
Seeing the concern on his face made her less defensive. He wasnât trying to boss her around, he was only worried about her.
âI forgot that you are practically a doctor because your brother is one.â Being more relaxed, she found herself able to tease him like normal.
âItâs on my resume.â He quipped back.
Hailey snorted. Doing so unfortunately caused her head to hurt worse. âOw.â She couldnât help but slip out a vocal compliant, raising her hand to tenderly hold the back of her head.
âOkay, stop being funny. Noted.â Jay said. Hailey had to press her lips together to keep herself from laughing again.
Neither of them acknowledged the fact he pressed down more on the accelerator.
âââ
Will Halstead was the first person they saw as they walked through the emergency room doors.
Hailey resisted the urge to roll her eyes. Jay had to have informed his brother that they were arriving. There was no other possible explanation. She only had a cut on her forehead, Will should be treating far more important patients.
âPlease tell me you are having a medical student do this.â Hailey gestured to her head.
Will only looked to Jay, ignoring her. She sighed, realizing that Jay not only informed his brother, but requested that he would have Hailey as his patient.
She opened her mouth to complain, but quickly closed it. Better for her to get this over with. Then Will can get back to his actual work.
The three of them went into an empty room, where Hailey was directed to get on the hospital bed by Will.
âThatâs a pretty nasty cut, Hailey.â
She watched as he pulled on a pair of gloves. âThis wonât take that long, right?â Her and Jay could possibly make it back to work with only being gone for an hour.
âIâll just need to stitch it up and then youâll be good to go.â
Hailey gave Will a relieved smile.
But Jay decided to pipe in. âI think she has a concussion too, Will.â
Traitor. She threw her partner a glare, which he ignored.
Will became more concerned at the news. âThen Iâll be sure to check after I stitch this up.â He gestured to her cut.
Hailey nodded, swallowing her disappointment of most likely missing the rest of shift. And resisted throwing Jay a stink eye. He was only thinking of her best interests, and even though a part of her wanted to ignore a possible concussion, she needed to take care of herself.
Sheâd be back working in no time, she told herself.
Hailey jumped in surprise when a wet cloth was pressed against her forehead.
âSorry,â Will dabbed the cloth gently around and on the wound. âJust cleaning the cut.â
âItâs fine.â
She suppressed another flinch when he began to suture her cut. To ignore the pain, she focused her attention on Jay in front of her.
It was unnecessary for him to be in the room, but he was still here. He didnât seem to notice her looking, his eyes instead on Willâs hands patching her up.
Once Will stepped back, presumably done stitching her back together, Hailey let go of a breath she didnât realize she was holding.
She wasnât a fan of hospitals. The dislike only heightened when she was the patient as well.
A few seconds passed but Will didnât return to the wound. Relieved, she leapt out of the bed, ready to head out.
Her vision got hazy as her feet hit the floor. She stumbled, similar to earlier, and once again Jay caught her before she could fall.
âHe needs to check your head, remember?â
His voice was soft, almost a whisper. The one they used when they were talking to a person in distress.
And one he used with her at times. When they were disclosing with each other or wanting to get a certain point across.
If it was anyone else, she would feel babied, prodded over. But this was Jay. With him it just felt natural.
They werenât alone though, Will was in the room, which made Hailey instinctively shrug off Jayâs arm.
Knowing she didnât have anything helping her stay steady, her hands grabbed onto the side of the bed.
Yeah, she most definitely had a concussion. Finding that properly diagnosing would be counterproductive, she suggested to omit that.
The Halstead brothers didnât like that idea. And of course, Jay spoke up before the actual doctor in the room. âWe need to make sure thereâs nothing else going on. What if you have a brain bleed?â
Before Hailey could remind her partner that he was, in fact, not a doctor, Will spoke up.
âIt pains me to say it,â Will shared a shit-eating grin with his brother, who rolled his eyes in return. âBut Jay is right.â
Hailey internally deflated. More time spent in the hospital then. Which inevitably included at least some kind of test.
Her negative thoughts quickly came to a halt as Jay dragged a chair against the tile floor. The screeching caused by the friction wasnât particularly welcomed though.
Especially with her head injury. She must have made a face, as Jay quickly gave an apology. âNot quite doctor material.â He said, squeezing her shoulder with a grimace.
Jayâs presence was substantial to keeping her grounded, much like when they were on the job. She couldnât imagine being here without him.
Of course Will had to burst her bubble with the news of separating them. âIâll be taking you up for a CT. And youâll wait here.â He directed the last part to Jay, with a warning tone to his voice.
âShouldnât I change?â
Will tilted his head towards a perfectly folded hospital gown next to her bed, giving her a nonverbal answer. He then left the room and closed the door behind him, presumably to give her privacy.
However, he did leave her alone with Jay. Which was interesting. And odd.
Speaking of Jay, he turned his head away, his own version of giving her privacy.
Admittedly, she was glad. She was a fall risk right now and sheâd rather Jay catch her naked or almost naked body than the other Halstead.
Thankfully she didnât have much trouble changing, choosing to sit on the bed when doing so.
She had the gown on but was having trouble tying it together. Focusing on tying the strings was making her head hurt. Sighing, she turned to Jay, admitting defeat.
âCan you tie the back?â She said, turning back around again to avoid seeing his face. There was no need to make this more awkward than it already was.
The next thing she knew, his fingers were on the first set of strings.
He tied them quickly, as he moved down her back to tie the second set. His fingertips brushed against her spine. If she wasnât aware of what he was doing, it would have taken her a second to realize what she was feeling.
But still it was enough to give her goosebumps.
âCold?â She could hear the smile in his voice as he asked. He was messing with her.
âYouâre insufferable.â Was all she said, now once again facing him. She began to pull on the hospital socks that were next to the gown.
When she looked up, Jayâs head was down checking his phone. His face was full of concentrationâit was clear whatever he was preoccupied with was work related.
Guilt filled her chest. Having Jay with her was selfish. It wasnât like she was in a critical condition, she had a measly cut and a possible concussion.
âYou should go.â She spoke up, fiddling with the bedsheet. Internally she was yelling at herself to stop, to not say anything and allow Jay to stay with her.
But Intelligence was working two people down. Getting Jay back would be hugely beneficial to the case.
He rolled his eyes in response. It was as if her suggestion was the most ridiculous thing in the world. âItâs fine.â
âItâs not fine. Our unit is working two men down right nowââ
The door opened. Will was back, coming in right during the middle of Haileyâs rant. He was unfazed, in complete doctor mode. âAlright, Iâm going to take you up for the CT scan now.â
She noticed a wheelchair behind him. Like clockwork, her mouth opened, the words of how she was fine, that she could walk by herself, were on the tip of her tongue. But she closed her mouth. There was no need to beat a dead horse.
So she took the arm Jay offered, giving him a grateful smile as he helped her into the chair.
As Will was wheeling her out, she grabbed hold of the doorframe. âYou better be gone by the time I get back!â
Another eye roll, paired this time with a laugh. Hailey sighed, knowing she will be seeing Jay Halstead in the same exact spot when she came back into the room.
ââââ
âOkay, now you can leave.â Hailey said once they were inside her apartment.
The CT scan didnât show anything concerning, so she was allowed to go home. Per Willâs orders she was off the job for at least a week, with a lot of rest.
Jay grabbed his chest, feigning offense. âYou really want to get rid of me that badly?â
Hailey rolled her eyes, not giving him a verbal answer. There was no use to continue pressing when he wasnât going to head back to work.
âYou heard your brother, Jay.â She started to walk through her apartment, heading towards her bedroom. Jay was close behind, right on her heels. âAll I need now is rest. Which doesnât require your assistance.â
He continued to follow her despite her reassurances. Once she reached her bed, she whirled around, her face inches away from his chest.
Annoyance was brimming at the surface. âAll right,â She crossed her arms and tilted her chin up to meet Jayâs eyes. âIf you wonât leave, at least tell me why.â
At that Jay became visibly uncomfortable. He broke eye contact with her, choosing instead to look everywhere and anywhere else. His tongue also dragged across his top lip, which Hailey found to be particularly distracting.
âWhen the car crashed earlier....â For the first time since his confrontation with Cameron, Hailey was seeing Jayâs emotions unravel. But instead of anger, he was expressing fear. â...I was really worried, Hailey.â
She reached out to grab his hands. They were shaking, she realized, only stilling when she held them.
Before she could comfort him, Jay continued talking. âAnd then the gunshots going off...â
She felt his hands forming into fists. Her fingers rubbed gently over his knuckles, wanting to help him release his tight hand muscles.
After a few strokes, the tension began to slowly leave. Despite this she continued her motions, finding it to ground her own self as well.

A Not So Brief Hiatus P.4
First Previous Next
Ao3
Thanks for waiting guys! This took longer than usual, but this part is longer, and I had fun writing it! As always I hope you enjoy :)
Marinette sputtered. âSorry? Sorry for what?â
If Alya had been in a better place emotionally, she would have noticed how Marinetteâs voice seemed to shoot up half an octave.
âI havenât been fair to you.â Alya said.
Marinette sat down next to Alya. âWhat do you mean?â
âIâve put you through so much, acting like itâs âfor your own good,â without even checking to see how it makes you feel, especially when it comes to Adrien,â Alya replied. âIt wasnât fair to you, neither was the way I responded to your concerns about Lila. I looked into her claims,â Alya took a deep breath, and shoved down the guilt rising in her throat. She looked Marinette in the eyes. âNothing came up. I should have trusted you.â
Marinette sighed, scooting closer and draping her arm over Alya. The gesture felt oddly familiar, but she couldnât place where from.
âLila is a..smart liar,â Marinette started. âHer lies tend to be a bit over the top, but she says them with such confidence, that it becomes really hard to see through it.â
Alyaâs chest ached. The entire class had put Marinette through so much, throwing her under the bus for someone they could have easily proven was a liar.
They shunned her, taking away her support system without a thought about everything she had done for them or continued to do for them.
And yet, here she was, speaking to Alya so kindly, phrasing things so carefully, as if Alya was a porcelain doll, ready to break.
As if Marinette wasnât the one hurting.
âBut you saw through it,â Alya said.
Marinette nodded. âOnly because I saw Ladybug confront her after Lila pretended to be her friend.â
Alya started. âHow did you see that? And why didnât you say anything?â
Marinette flushed. âLong story short, I saw her steal a book from Adrien in the library, so I followed them to the park, Lila tried telling him he was friends with Ladybug and a hero herself, and I saw Ladybug step in and tell her off. I was going to tell everyone but-â
âBut in order to tell us why you were so certain, youâd have to admit to following them, even if it was with pure intentions.â Alya finished.
Oh Marinette.
Marinette nodded. âLila is good at deflection and misdirection. I knew sheâd shift the focus to me following them, even if I said I âjust happened to be at the parkâ, or something to cover my tracks.â
Alya nodded.
It was true. Looking back, she could see how Lila twisted every scenario, weaving her way out of the corners Marinette put her in, and shifting the focus back onto Marinette, onto her shortcomings.
Lila exploited weaknesses and insecurity. Someone who struggled with hesitation and confidence issues like Marinette did was an easy target for her.
But that still didnât account for one factor...
âSo youâre telling me Adrienâs known this entire time?â
Marinette nodded again.
âAnd he let you take on Lila and the class by himself?â
Marinette hesitated, opening her mouth to reply.
After a second she shut her mouth, and nodded.
Alyaâs eyes narrowed. âOh that boy is dead.â
He left her alone.
Alya felt her hands tighten around her phone.
He knew what was happening, and he left her to fend for herself while Lila turned the class against her.
Her breathing turned ragged.
He left her.
He left her.
He left her.
âAlya!â Marinetteâs panicked voice cut through her thoughts.
Alya looked up. A purple butterfly flirted around in the room in lazy circles, looking for something to akumatize.
Her eyes widened, and she felt an overwhelming pressure in her head and chest.
She staggered back, hands clutching the sides of her head.
âMarinette get out of here.â
Safe. She had to keep her safe.
It was the least she could do.
âNo.â Marinette said resolutely. âWeâre going to get through this. Look at me.â
Alya looked up, startled by the commanding tone of her friend.
Marinette looked back at her with firey eyes.
She extended her hands.
âTake my hands.â
Alya grabbed her hands, feeling the soft calluses on Marinetteâs palms.
âClose your eyes.â
She did so.
âDo as I say. Take a deep breath in through your nose, and focus on my voice.â
Alya inhaled deeply.
âI want you to ground yourself. Think of something that makes you happy. No complicated feelings, just pure happiness.â
Alya racked her brain and exhaled.
âIâve got it,â she said.
âOkay good. Immerse yourself in it. Let that joy flow through you. Every time you inhale, take a little more joy in. Every time you exhale, let yourself relax, and let the negativity leave.â
Alya inhaled.
She pictured the first time she went to the Dupain-Chengâs bakery.
Sabine greeted her warmly at the door with a hug.
As soon as he saw her, Tom dragged her into the back to try out different baked goods he was experimenting with.
Marinette was mortified, but Alya smiled, assuring her this was the best welcome she could get.
She exhaled.
The tightness in her chest loosened a tad.
âYouâre doing great,â Marinette said soothingly.
She inhaled.
She pictured the two of them on Marinetteâs balcony the last time she slept over, cuddled up in a blanket, and munching on popcorn as they watched a movie on Alyaâs laptop.
Marinette joked about one of the characters reminding her of Alya.
Alya responded by throwing a piece of popcorn at her.
Marinette laughed, and Alya joined in.
She exhaled.
The pressure in her head decreased.
She inhaled.
The pressure subsided altogether.
âItâs ok Alya, you can open your eyes.â
She tentatively cracked open one eye. The akuma was gone. Behind Marinette, she saw a flash of something red.
She opened her eyes, and rubbed them. Must have been a trick of the light.
Marinette rubbed her back soothingly. âJust breathe. Youâre going to be ok.â
Alya breathed deeply.
The two sat there in silence as Alya regained her bearings.
âHow...did you do that?â She asked.
âI started meditating regularly this year,â Marinette explained. âThis was just an extension of that.â
âHow were you so confident it would work?â
Marinetteâs cheeks flushed. âI wasnât. I figured itâs worked for me in the past, so it was worth a shot.â
Alya mulled that over.
She paused. âItâs worked for you before?â
Marinette nodded. âOnce. I was in the bathroom crying, and an akuma came for me, but I fended it off with good thoughts.â
Alya felt a lump in her throat.
âOh Marinette,â Alya said, wrapping her friend in a hug. âIâm so sorry.â
âItâs not your fault.â
âI should have been there for you.â
âItâs in the past now.â
Not a denial, but an acknowledgement.
Marinette pulled back, rubbing Alyaâs shoulder. âThe real question is how are you feeling?â
Alya paused. âI feel...â
She thought back to what Trixx had said the day before.
âI feel like I need to recenter myself. Like reevaluate my priorities, get better in tune with my needs.â
Marinette smiled and turned away from Alya.
âMaman, can Alya sleep over?â She called down the stairs.
Alya gave her friend a confused look, which she waved off.
âItâs not a school night, so as long as her momâs ok with it, you know we love having her over.â Sabine called back
Marinette turned to Alya expectantly.
Alya hastily unlocked her phone and texted her mom.
Her mom texted her back immediately, with more emojis than should be legal.
Alya gave Marinette the thumbs up.
Marinette smiled.
âYou want to recenter yourself? I think I might know someone to help you with that.â
â-
âPapa, Alya and I are gonna go out!â Marinette said, pulling Alya along with her.
Tom peeked from behind the register. âAlright dear, just make sure youâre home before dinner.â
âGot it!â Marinette said, waving at her dad.
The two exited the bakery.
âSo where exactly are we going?â Alya asked.
Marinette smiled sheepishly and released her hold on Alyaâs wrist. âItâs hard to explain. Itâs kind of a mix between an eastern medicine facility and a massage therapy center. Which I know,â she said hurriedly, âdoesnât exactly sound like what you need but trust me.â
Normally, Alya would be a bit skeptical about going to some random business sheâs never heard of. But there was a sureness in Marinetteâs eyes that quieted that doubt.
âOk, I trust you.â
Marinette beamed, and began walking.
Alya followed suit. âSo how did you even find this place?â
âDuring an akuma attack, I ran in for shelter. Once I got there, the owner and I started talking. Iâve been stopping by at least once a week since, and itâs been really helpful for my anxiety. Youâre going to love Mister Fu.â
The two stopped in front of a nondescript building.
âWeâre here!â Marinette chirped, opening the door.
Immediately, Alya could smell the scent of incense wafting through the parlor.
âCome on, he should be available right now,â Marinette said, grabbing Alyaâs hand.
âHow do you know?â She asked.
Marinette laughed. âThe walls in this parlor are thin. If he was busy, youâd either hear him talking, or playing music.â
She led Alya down a hall to a set of doors.
From the other side she could hear two voices talking quietly.
Alya pulled back. âIt seems like heâs busy.â
Marinette shook her head. âIf he was busy, heâd have a sign on the door.â
She knocked on the door.
âWhoâs there?â
âItâs me. I brought a friend with me today, I think she wants to talk to you.â
âAh Marinette, yes come in.â
Marinette slid open the door.
There, kneeling on a pad in the middle of the room, was an elderly man in a truly obnoxious Hawaiian shirt.
Alya noticed with a start that there was no one else in the room.
He smiled them.
âMister Fu, this is Alya, my best friend,â Marinette said, kneeling down in front of him.
Alya followed suit.
He extended a hand to her, and Alya took it.
âIt is a pleasure to meet you Alya, Iâm Mister Fu.â
His grip was surprisingly strong for such an old man.
But then again, she supposed, if he was a massage therapist, heâd need to have strong hands.
âItâs nice to meet you too,â she responded politely.
Mister Fu turned to Marinette. âWhat brings you in today my dear?â He asked.
âAlya was telling me how she wanted to recenter herself, so I thought I would recommend you. I told her how I took shelter in here during an akuma fight and have been stopping by ever since.â
âIs that so?â He said, quirking his head.
He turned to Alya. âAre you comfortable with being here?â
Alya nodded. âSomething about this facility feels very soothing. I feel oddly at ease here.â
It was the truth. New environments tended to make her tense and on high alert.
But stepping into his studio, her muscles relaxed, letting go of tension she didnât even realize she was carrying, and her spirit felt like it had been swaddled in a blanket and given a mug of soothing chamomile tea.
Fu nodded approvingly. âGood. Marinette, would you mind stepping out while we talk?â
Marinette was already heading for the door. âNo problem.â
âAnd donât forget, make yourself at home. I just brewed a pot of kukicha, and I just bought some cookies from your parentsâ bakery, so help yourself.â
âThank you Ma-Mister,â Marinette said, closing the door behind her.
Mister Fu turned back to her. âWould you like some tea?â
Alya nodded. âYes please.â
Mister Fu got up, making his way to the table in the back.
âIâm afraid I only have peppermint made right now,â he said, handing her a cup, and waving her off when she thanked him.
He kneeled in front of her again.
âSo, whatâs on your mind Rena?â

the wrong path (colin ritman x reader) chapter one
(A/N: is the hiatus over ?? who knows. Iâm a mess and dumb and Iâm lazy. but i cranked this out from sheer love for will poulter and his bleach blonde hair and those trendy glasses he wears. and for you guys. I hope you enjoy!! comment and like!! they make my day!! if you end up wanting a chapter two, let me know, cuz i think itâs gonna start getting meta af in here)
summary: thereâs two paths, or so colin ritman tells you - the right path, in which you meet stefan butler at tuckersoft and subsequently start dating - and the wrong path, in which you fall in love with colin instead. youâre not convinced the wrong path is all that wrong.
taglist: @sighsophiia @cake-full-of-fist
âYouâre not supposed to be doing this.â
Your hands roamed hungrily over Colin Ritmanâs chest, searching for shirt buttons with your eyes closed and your lips forming paths of kisses up his neck and towards his jaw. The words heâd mumbled sounded merely like background noise. In the air hung the smell of weed smoke and incense, mingling lightly with the scent of Colin: a warm and deep cologne with natural undertones that instantly reminded you of him each time you smelled it.
You pressed your lips quickly onto his, forgetting he ever said a word.
He kissed you back gently yet urgently before pushing you off, leaving you straddling his lap, hands on his shoulders, clad in only a bra and underwear.
âWhat?â You softly questioned, adjusting your hips against his, pressing your chest against his once more, sliding your arms around his neck.
âIâve realized it. Youâre not supposed to be doing this. This isnât the right path.â He breathlessly announced.
His words were confusing enough to keep you from leaning in and silencing him with a kiss, at least momentarily. You stared at him through tousled hair, which you brushed back, sitting up.
âHuh? What do you mean?â
His hands nonetheless roved from your hips up to your waist, caressing you with a muted desire.
âYouâre not supposed to be with me. Youâre supposed to be with Stefan. I canât have you.â His words were straightforward, barely a tinge of melancholy to signify his disapproval. He was avoiding direct eye contact.
You immediately giggled. The shy little newbie? He was sweet, but how could he ever shine a candle to Colin?
âSome joke, Colin. Youâre so weird.â
He seemed lost, staring through you, deep in thought. âI thought it was his dad, bugging the shit out of him and all, or the pressure of the deadline, but no. It has to be you. Since we got involved, he never had the chance to ask you out. His morale is out of whack, all cuz of me. I made him lovesick for you. And because I distract you from your game, even your game tanks...â
The weed youâd smoked numbed half his words, until you took a moment to decipher his ranting. You took his face gently in your hands. Colin stared back at you, and you could finally sense some dejection behind his eyes.
âColin, thereâs no one else Iâd rather be with. IâŠâ
You hadnât said you loved him yet, and at this rate, you werenât sure you would.
He blinked twice. âYouâll see what I mean. Youâre on the wrong path.â
Deciding this was some of his classic paranoid-on-drugs speak, wanting to pretend you made the past few minutes up, you tentatively ground your hips against his, resulting in an involuntary moan from his throat that only drove you more crazy for him. You grabbed the back of his neck, your hot breath tickling his ear.
âBabe, if loving you is wrong, I donât wanna be-â
âOh, donât be a clown.â
You kissed him again, and this time he reciprocated, mouth moving hard against yours, and he flipped you onto the couch, climbing on top of you, pulling his shirt off in the process. He took off his glasses, throwing them onto the coffee table.
âThereâs a chance Iâm wrong, but if Iâm not-â
âOh, piss off.â You laughed before kissing him once more, and this time he unbuttoned and started slipping off his Levis, unsuccessfully, to the point where he leaned so far to one side that the two of you spun and tumbled off the couch, the laughter bubbling from your throat the final sound that hung in the air before suddenly waking up in bed, sitting up with wide and tired eyes.
New Order was playing on the radio, the means of a daily alarm.
It was as if youâd just woken out of an odd dream, with that groggy morning feeling, paired with the slowness that typically accompanied it.
You turned to look at the clock beside you. It was eight oâclock in the morning.
What happened?
âThis is Colin Ritman. Heâs a bit of a celebrity in the gaming world, you may have heard of him.â
You had heard the name before; somewhere in the depths of past memories his name conjured up the ring of a bell, yet nothing more. Looking into his face, you very vaguely recognized him - merely examining the smile before you, the dark blue eyes, the bleach-blonde hair all coming together into one handsome stranger - you knew, somehow, that he couldnât be a stranger at all.
You felt you had to know him, especially if he was so famous. You were always playing video games.
âHello.â You said, an instant yet nervous response.
âVery nice to meet you.â He said, in an accent reminiscent of boys at school and old neighbor kids. The voice was recognizable. Youâve heard it somewhere before.
âHave we⊠Met before?â You coyly questioned, wondering if heâd possibly understand. You felt awfully dumb asking, knowing heâd probably say no. If you were lucky, heâd bring up some obvious encounter that youâd somehow lost over time; sharing a high school calculus class, having some old mutual friend, maybe even frequenting the same restaurant or cafe.
âI donât believe so. Iâd certainly remember meeting you.â He replied, flirtatious words undermined by a monotone voice, grabbing your extended hand and holding it momentarily before beginning to shake it. You grabbed back, feeling flushed out of nowhere.
You just couldnât place where youâd seen him - but felt you couldnât stir on it for too long. You had a few games youâd been working on, one particularly promising. You and Mr. Thakur had been discussing it for weeks after youâd sent in an application, and apparently heâd already spoke to Colin before your arrival for the interview.
You tried to read Colinâs face, try to dissect his expression, but it seemed impossible. The smile he wore was now a near grimace as he turned away from you, sucking on some sort of blunt - homemade cigarette perhaps? You werenât sure.
âY/N created Time Swipe, that game I was telling you about at lunch. You have it with you?â Mahon asked, looking enthusiastic.
âYeah.â You were jolted from your mess of thoughts about Colin, quickly rummaging through your bag to find the cartridge. Fishing it out, you handed it to Mahon with a smile.
âI really hope you guys like it. Took me eons.â
Mahon chuckled almost nervously. Colin looked totally unbothered. Even his stature you could hazily recognize, as if heâd stood beside you with his hands in his pockets just as cooly before.
âSo we still need the score behind it, yeah? Is it completed on the visual front?â Mahon enthusiastically asked.
You thought back to all the hard work youâd put into it, the grating hours behind a computer, the time spent forgetting to eat or sleep for days on end.
âShould be. Iâve tied up all the loose ends, flattened out the glitches. Iâve run the finished product about fifty times now without any problems, it should be perfect.â
âForty times?â Mohan asked under his breath, in somewhat disbelief. Colin was still turned towards you, and you could feel his stare boring into you.
âForty-eight.â Colin added, in his sharp accent. Your eyes met his immediately.
âWhat?â
âYou could round it up to fifty times, having booted it up forty-eight. It sounds better, anyway.â
Heat surrounded your face and stained your cheeks as you looked down in thought. It had been forty-eight startups, hadnât it? A part of you was so tired and annoyed after launching the game so many times, essentially obsessively - that youâd lost count.
Was it somewhere printed on the screen how many times itâd been used?
How could he know?
âHowâŠâ You began, but Mohan continued speaking, leaving a soon-fleeting stare Colinâs only response.
âIâve loved the idea since you first mentioned it, itâs very marketable.â Mohan pushed the game inside the VCR, and the three of you surrounded the screen as the intro flashed to life - Time Switch was glowing in bright neon letters, with a monochromatic grid background. There it was: your pride and joy. However badly that intro made you want to puke just days ago, it appeared new and fresh staring back at you now.
Mohan pressed the start button without a word, and despite needing to restart multiple times after losing lives, he was completely immersed, laughing to himself or groaning sadly with every little success or failure.
âWhat say you, Colin?â He asked, without bothering to turn around, eyes glued to the screen. The little green character continued stealing wall clocks from the cubicles he entered.
Colin shrugged. âIt works.â
The answer was somewhat insulting - not that you thought heâd be jumping for joy about it - but something better than âit worksâ. How could your game be that promising when an apparent video game genius didnât like it?
âItâs wonderful. I knew we had something good going. How would you like to work on a game with Colin, after this is released? You mentioned you have other ideas, and Colin is eager for a partner.â
Working on a project with a big name in the video game world would be an incredible opportunity; much too good to turn down.
However, Colin was certainly some partner.
As you debated how to reply, from the corner of your eye you could see Colin smile and shake his head in possible disapproval, turning to look out the window.
âIâd⊠Iâd love to. Really?âÂ
âI know Colinâs got some tricks up his sleeve. We have a new sound team, new design team⊠And a few other plans in mind.
âYou wanna work for Tuckersoft?â
You were overwhelmed with excitement. How could you possibly say no?
âYes!â
Quickly you grabbed his hand, and he maneuvered the shake into a hug, warmly patting you on the back. âCanât wait to have you here with us, Y/N! Youâll be set up beside Colin, youâll start work next week. Oh hey, Steven!â
Exiting Mahonâs embrace, you turned to see a brown-haired boy in a tan jacket who mustâve been around your age, bag slung over his shoulder, looking nervously at you through eyes darkened by what you assumed was a lack of sleep.
âStefan.â
âStefan, sorry-â
âThatâs, sorry, I get it all the time.â
Mohan started ranting at the boy about how proud he was of the company, a spiel you had already listened to, while you couldnât help but gravitate towards them. Stefan was just as oddly familiar as the rest of the place.
You didnât listen to a word that Mohan was saying, apart from the random âexpandingâ and âdemoâ crossing your mind as you stared. Finally, Mohan addressed you.
âThis is Y/N. Sheâs a newbie, just like you.â
You felt a mix of happiness and discomfort in your heart, just looking at him. Something was drawing you closer, but simultaneously deterring you. You couldnât keep Colin Ritman or his words out of your head.
âNice to meet you, Stefan.â You bid.
He looked down before looking back up to meet your gaze, eyes momentarily hesitating at your lips.
âYou as well. Iâve never met a female programmer. Itâs⊠itâs really cool that⊠sorry, that sounds weirdâŠâ
You couldnât help but laugh as he ran a hand anxiously through his hair, a boyish smile growing on his face.
âNo, no, donât worry.â You assured him. âI get that a lot.â
âItâs really cool. Really, really cool.â He looked at you a few seconds too long before blinking and shyly looking down.
âStefan! Come with me, I wanna talk to you.â
As Mohan pulled him to the side, you felt Colin move closer, smoky exhale surrounding you.Â
âDo you remember what I told you?â
You turned to look at him directly, eyebrows furrowed.
âWhat?â
He took another drag, seemingly unfazed.
âYouâve been here before. Try to remember what I told you.â
Slowly he walked away, entering an adjacent office. You couldnât help but follow.
âYou must be mistaking me for someone, I think...â You continued, suddenly stopped in your tracks by his unexpected closeness - he stood in the doorway, leaning against it, face only inches from you.
âThink back.â He quietly urged, giving you a second round of chills. âI should hope you wonât have to try a third time.â
Suddenly, he shut the door. As it shut, a familiar scent wafted out with the rushed air - a smell so familiar, so warm, so caring, it was clear as day what he meant.Â
You must have been here before. You wouldnât remember him otherwise. Everything wouldnât be so familiar otherwise.Â
Colin knew you. You knew Colin. But how?
You mustâve been lovers. Very, very drunk lovers. For a split second, you vividly imagined the two of you in bed, rolling around, falling on the floor laughing.
âY/N, you and Stefan have so much to talk about!â
Feeling hazy, lost in thoughts simultaneously generated by the blonde, four-eyed weirdo just beyond the door - you werenât sure what to say to this boy who apparently had so much to converse with you about.
Mohan gently grabbed your shoulder and turned you to look at the boy, who seemed uneasy once acknowledging your out-of-sorts expression.
âSomething wrong, Y/N? Itâs just Stefan, he doesnât bite!â
âNo, no, Iâm fine. I thought I⊠Nevermind. Youâre working on a new game, too? Bandersnatch, right?â
Mohan laughed, louder than you anticipated.
âWow! How did you know that? Has he already bragged to you about it?â
Stefan appeared excited, yet confused. âHow did you know that?â
He seriously hadnât mentioned it already?
âOh, well, I mean, you two were talking about it, werenât you? Over there?â
Mohan laughed once more. âWhat a set of ears! Yeah, we were about to demo it. You wanna watch?â
The day continued the way you suspected it would, except mostly without the presence of Colin, which kept your stress levels within a healthy level. You couldnât stop thinking about what he meant - you did your best to remember exactly what he allegedly told you - but nothing came through.
The next day, Mohan sat you directly beside him, as he clicked away on a computer, busy making his own game, âNosediveâ with wacky spelling - a calling card of his, you supposed.
You didnât want to interrupt him - Mohan expressed that Colin was a âbabyâ and would frequently âbitch and moanâ if you interrupted him too many times in one day.
Heâd have to deal with it.
Heâd taken off his headphones for the first time since your arrival to say something to a passing assistant, and as you ran Time Switch for the 78th time, more a chore than a game at this point - you said it.
âWeâve met before. You lied.â
The moment went almost unacknowledged, until Colin cleared his throat.
âI didnât lie. We met yesterday.â
You didnât bother turning to look at him.
âNo. We met before that. We were in love before that.â
Colin turned to face you, giving you a surprised stare before turning back to look at his screen. He sighed gently, as if dealing with a minor inconvenience.
âCome on.â He said, suddenly standing up and walking away from the monitor. You slowly rose from your seat and followed him into the same adjacent, empty office, where he waited until youâd entered to shut the two of you in.
Colin stared at you, vaguely annoyed.
âYou remember that we were in love, but you canât remember one important thing I told you? Youâre just destined to fail, arenât you?â
You scoffed in shock, yesterdayâs waves of confusion washing over you once again.
âSo you did love me? And why donât you just tell me what Iâm supposed to remember, rather than being cryptic and creepy?â
Colin scoffed back, leaning back against the door.
âWhy donât I just live your life for you? Y/N, thereâs something wrong with the sequence of events here, and the constant within all of this is us being together. Thatâs the problem. Iâve seen it a few times now. You have to be with Stefan. Iâve invited him to my flat tonight, and I was hoping to invite you, but... Iâm not sure youâll be able to keep your hands off me if you get high.â
With a sarcastic smile, you began giggling to yourself, making him smile and turn away from your attempts to mock him.
âOh, you donât think Iâll be able to contain myself? Youâre just too sexy, Colin, women canât keep their fookinâ hands off you!â
Turning back to face you, he grew increasingly serious. âLook, I thought youâd remember what happened, but it makes sense now. It was a decision made for you, to go back. Not your own. From what I can see, your actions are conflicting with your destiny. If it was your own choice, I bet youâd be progressing much faster. Youâre being controlled. But from what I gather, youâre not too far gone.â
You stared at the man in front of you, wondering how he seemed to know so much; how you felt so clueless in turn.
âWhat do you mean, a decision made for me?â
Colin began slowly moving closer to you, and his hesitation made you fear the answer, instinctively backing up towards the desk behind you. You hit the desk after a few more paces, and he only moved nearer once youâd been cornered.
âI know this is confusing for you. No oneâs set you free yet. Youâve been controlled your whole life, just like everyone else. Youâre in the hole, and you know there must be a way out... Youâve just started testing the limits. But you canât climb that high on your own. You need me to help you out. Or else, youâre going to be controlled for the rest of your life, never knowing which path is right or wrong.â
Colin was dangerously close to you, and you could sense that old familiar passion in his stare. You could feel his breath, smell his cologne. You wanted so desperately to kiss him, to touch him, to be with him. The eye contact felt unbreakable.
âYou can choose your own destiny. Just let me help you do it.â He spoke, in a tone low and genuine.
A moment of silence fell between you, in which you looked down at his chest, slowly mustering up the courage to meet his tender gaze once more before speaking.
âIs this what it looks like when you try to keep a girl from falling in love with you?â You slowly asked, almost unable to finish the sentence, lost in his eyes and in all the confusion.
Something clicked, as if heâd forgot that he was heading down that same wrong path right alongside you.
âEh⊠Yeah. Um... Stefan will meet us at my place at six. Iâll walk you there.â
He started walking out of the room before turning around, hand on the doorknob.
âIâm serious, Y/N. You have to be there tonight. Itâs important.â
You smiled, crossing your arms, leaning on the desk behind you.
âHow could I forget?â

Hi! So, I could be totally wrong here, but you seem like youâre going through quite a bit? If that is the case, Iâd like you to know that itâs okay. If itâs a creative rut, maybe doing something completely different would help? Something of the âoh thatâs cool but I could never do it right??â persuasion. Just dropping hsc is okay to if it no longer brings you happiness. Donât worry about us internet-folk. If this is how it ends, it was good while it lasted. Just hoping for your happiness :3
i know i said iâd wait a little while to catch up on messages but this one really got me :-( thank u so much for taking the time to send it! iâve been kind of vague about my updates lately so i hope u donât mind if i use this as a platform to let u guys know where iâm at right now.
part of the reason for this hiatus is because i fell into a creative rut around the start of the holidays, but i had some issues with my back a couple of weeks ago that made it impossible for me to move or sit up straight for more than a few minutes at a time, and that definitely set me back longer than i had hoped. iâm better now, but i still canât stay in one position for extended periods without feeling uncomfortable, and the way i write usually requires me to type without much of a break until the first draft is completed in its entirety. most of what iâve been working on over the past week or so was done on my phone, which is fine, but it takes about twice as long for me to finish a section of a chapter because i canât look at such a small screen for too long (in case ur curious tho i have the next chapter of hsc finished and am working on the next two after that which happens to be the movie arc split into two parts).
i hope that doesnât sound like some kind of sad excuse! just wanted to give clearer reasons as to why iâve been gone for so long, even if theyâre not very good ones. iâd like to think iâm at least getting over that creative rut; iâm listening to a lot of new music which means in addition to working on new chapters iâm creating new playlists and fixing up the old ones. i admit iâve also been making the most out of finally getting to go outside, but u gotta remember iâm one of u internet-folk, too! hsc continues to bring me happiness even on days when iâm not quite sure what to write so i can assure u that unless something utterly life changing flips my world upside down i am always going to keep coming back to it.
ANYWAY that aside iâve been watching a lot of shows and like i said listening to a lot of music these days since that was pretty much all i could do this month (i swear this isnât a pity party i am perfectly mobile now) another reason why chapters are progressing slower than usual is because iâve been hopping across fandoms like the energy bunny agsjdjdkdk iâm pretty sure i managed to catch up on miraculous ladybug, fairy tail, young justice, and voltron within the same week, re-watch most of haikyuu, inuyasha, and fullmetal alchemist: brotherhood the week after, and then have time to re-read a couple of the percy jackson books just a few days ago, plus (i know) with kingdom hearts ready to drop on top of all that i feel like my mind has been in ten different places at once. in short, itâs not that iâm not doing anything right now, but because iâm doing too much, iâm having trouble sticking to one thing at a time afskshls
this is getting to be a drag to read but yeah tldr i went from being totally uninspired to going on a creative hyperdrive and somewhere in between that i was on proper medical leave from the interwebz lulz đ€đŒ sorry for rambling on about my boring life!!! how r u!!!! did u start school yet?? watch any new shows??? got some new bops on ur playlist???? honestly ur all way cooler than i am n ur ideas (some of which are still sitting in my inbox rip i donât deserve u) are one of the many things that keep me motivated n thriving đ€
just wanted to end this on a question because itâs something iâve been curious about for a while and though i have to warn u ahead of time that i might not act on it i figured it wouldnât hurt to ask ok yeah iâm actually gonna ask it now agdjjdsks would u guys like to see behind the scenes stuff?? messy sketches, random storyboards, profiles of original characters that may never see the light of day, chapter outlines that probably make no sense because half the time i donât even follow them???? pls lmk
also i lied about ending it there (if u read thru my authorâs notes ur probably used to that lol) a couple of people have asked if i would ever consider including lgbtq+ characters in my stories and my response both times was that i would be absolutely honored! as i said to one reader my primary concern was (and still is) that as a cisgender heterosexual i wouldn't do justice to said character and their story, but i welcome any guidance from u all and will do my best to bring them to life the way they deserve to be portrayed. in the climate we are in today i thought it was necessary to express my support for u regardless of ethnicity or gender identity and hope that u feel safe in the community we have collectively formed in this space. racism, sexism, homophobia, biphobia, transphobia, discrimination against another individual for their sexual orientation or where they come fromâall of these things and anything even remotely along those lines will not be tolerated here.
(ok now iâm done)
thank u so much anon and all the rest of u for always being so patient and kind! i wish u the best 2019 and will see u guys soon!

Too Good At Goodbyes
Harry Styles X Reader
A/N: so Iâve been obsessed with Sam Smithâs song, Too Good At Goodbyes lately. And itâs inspired me to write something angsty. I am a sucker for angst, so I hope you like it. Iâll be writing something for Ty soon, I promise. Itâs just hard as theyâre on hiatus. So please stick with me. I really do appreciate all of your support. It means the world to me. The italics will either mean itâs the future or the past, or a phone call or text! Please keep that in mind as youâre reading.
Trigger warnings: angst, mention of death
âYou know I love you more than anyone in this world, but we can still love each other without being together, right?â she pulls her sleeves over her hands, wiping at her eyes. Mascara ran down her face, streaking her cheeks with black. Harry broke on the inside, seeing her so hurt. He didnât think he would ever get over that. He was protective, always defending her no matter where they were. Harry didnât like seeing her upset. She was always so bubbly, cheerful. It was only recently that he started to notice that something was actually wrong.
Harry was always gone, never to be seen when she needed him most. Ever since they were children they were attached at the hip. The pair were inseparable, and right before he auditioned for X Factor, he finally got the guts to make things official between the two of them. She was at university and he was touring the world, so it made things hard to keep up. They facetimed every night, needing to hear each otherâs voice no matter how late or early it was. They were independent, sure. But they depended a lot on each other as well. They could breathe on their own, but it was always easier when they were together.
Whenever Y/N was on holiday, she would go with Harry on tour, watching him do what he loved most. He held her heart, and she held his. Their relationship would make anyone jealous. They were truly happy, they were meant to be together. No matter what the world decided to throw at them, they would easily get through it. At first, she was apprehensive to date her best friend. He was becoming one of the worldâs biggest stars, and well⊠she felt like she was a nobody.
Even though they meant the world to each other, she wouldnât let him in when they began to date. Y/N had dated several others before her, and it always ended up the same: they would leave her in the dirt and find someone else. Someone âbetterâ than she could ever be. She opened up easily before all of that, and now she was terrified to open up. She was scared to be hurt again. And when Harry asked her to be his girlfriend, she thought it was going to be easy, she really did. But Y/N was wrong. She worked hard at it. The relationship wasnât supposed to be any different than their friendship, so what was holding her back? Perhaps it was because the stakes were higher? If things ended badly, would their friendship last?
Harry was always grounded because of Y/N. She kept him humble, she ensured that he was always a gentleman wherever he was, whatever he was doing. He was thankful for that. He didnât ever want to lose a part of himself as he became more and more famous. Whenever things got too stressful, she was there to comfort him. To bring him home.
âH, you really need to get some rest.â she coos. âItâs been days since youâve had a good nightâs rest. Iâm really worried.â
â âm alright, pet. Promise. Be in bed soon, just gonna finish up this song, yeah?â he responds, the exhaustion clearly showing in his voice. âGotta have it by tomorrow night, otherwise the teamâs gonna have my ass.â he reaches for her hand, giving it a tight squeeze. â âm almost finished. Stop worryinâ so much. âS not good for your health darlinâ.â
She purses her lips and pouts, and with that Harry sighs and puts his pen down. He could never say no to her whenever she had that pleading look in her eyes. He crawls into bed with Y/N, holding her smaller frame against his larger one. She was right, he hadnât had a good nightâs rest in a long time. He was trying to finish writing a few songs for their next album.
Harry holds her close to his chest, listening to her gentle heartbeat. He closes his eyes and falls asleep to the gentle thumping that came from his loverâs body.
âHarry?â Nick snaps him out of his trance. He couldnât lie, he was thinking of Y/N as she lie in bed alone, probably wondering if he had been getting his well deserved rest. Harry was currently in Jamaica, writing his solo album. He begged Y/N to come with him, but knew she couldnât due to her being in school still. Harry could tell that she was exhausted and would give anything to get away, but she simply couldnât.
âPlease, Y/N. Just come with me. Want you there with me.â Harry pleads.
âHarry, you know I would love to come with you, but I canât just up and leave uni. Iâm so close to finishing, and when Iâm done I will come with you on tour and everything. Promise.â she smiles ever so sweetly, standing on her tiptoes to give him a gentle kiss.
âI know, just miss you so much, love.â he sighs. The boys announced their hiatus and just got back from their tour, only to be leaving right after to get started on his solo album. He wasnât even home for a month before he left her once more. Harry never realized how much it hurt Y/N when he left. How she would cry for him to come back after he shut the door, how the love they once shared slowly dwindled down to something that was barely holding on by a thread.
âYou know I miss you too, H. And I would give anything to be with you. Iâll always be there in spirit, and you know that. Iâm just a phone call away.â
âWhat is it?â Harry finally answers.
âYou alright, mate? Seem out of it lately.â Nick inquires.
Harry shrugs and knuckles his eyes, the exhaustion catching up to him. He wished Y/N was here to force him to take a nap. He wanted her there so she could play with his hair as he fell asleep. He wanted to kiss her full, pink lips. Harry wanted her to be there. He was close to finishing up the album, and he couldnât wait to get back home to her.
He felt awful for not calling her as often as he shouldâve, or responding to her texts. Harry was worried that she was crying. He had become so busy that he didnât seem to have a single care in the world. At times, he found himself going out to drink, getting so drunk that he would start to dance with random girls, not knowing what was getting into him until Jeff knocked some sense into him by dragging him out of the bar and showing him his phone. It was only then when he saw a picture of her that he snapped out of his frenzy.
He would rub his temples and would try to call Y/N, his attempts only reaching the voicemail.
âHey there! Itâs Y/N. So sorry I canât get to the phone right now, but Iâd love it if you dropped a voicemail! Iâll get back to you soon!â
âHey, love, âs me.â he slurred. â âm so sorry âve been so MIA latelyâŠâ he rubbed his eyes and paused, not really sure what he was going to say. Why was it so hard for him to talk? This never happened, but it felt forced. He didnât know why. âWeâre almost finished here, be home soon. Want to hear your voice. Call me when you have the chance, yeah?â
He hung up the phone and tossed it on the pillow next to him, groaning to himself. What was the matter with him? Why was everything becoming so difficult? Harry loved Y/N, so why did he feel like things were going down the drain? He couldnât possibly lose her, not now. Not ever.
His phone rang shortly after, her name lighting up his phone. He smiles and picks it up, groggily greeting her with a hello.
âHey H.â she didnât sound too happy. And she sounded tired. Mentally? Physically? He wasnât sure which it was anymore.
âHowâre you, petal?â he slurs.
âAlright, how about you?â she inquires, not much emotion showing in her voice. Y/N didnât sound excited like she normally is. She wasnât asking him about the album, or when he would be back. She just sounded⊠hurt. Was that the word he was looking for? He wasnât sure why she was acting so cold towards him.
âGood. âm good. Just got home from the bar with the band. Had a couple oâ drinks⊠be home in a week or two.â
âI know. Seemed to be having a lot of fun with those girls grinding on you.â she spits out. Her voice cracks ever so slightly, and he knows sheâs on the verge of tears. Harry hated to admit it, but this isnât the first time it happened. He has gotten drunk on way too many occasions and found himself dancing with strangers. He never wanted to admit it, but he was close to cheating on Y/N as well. Though he never did, he found himself looking for people that looked like her. He seeked them out and his band members had to drag him out and take him back home before he did something that he would regret for the rest of his life.
âBabe, âs not what it looks like.â Harry began.
âIâm sure it wasnât. Itâs just not something I want to see at 5 am. My phone was going nuts. And all my notifications were about this. Look, Iâll see you when you get back. Iâm really exhausted and I⊠I need to go.â
Harry felt his heart drop into the pit of his stomach. Y/Nâs voice was trembling. He couldnât bear the thought of her crying herself back to sleep because of him. Because of some stupid drunken thing he did. He doesnât know whatâs gotten into him. He could have any person he so desired, and he was taking advantage of it. Harry was never one to keep a relationship for too long. He hated being committed to one person for extended periods of time. Maybe he was too good at goodbyes. It was easy for him to break things off with people. He didnât feel like he needed to be tied down by anyone.
That was until he realized that he was in love with his best friend. He noticed that he couldnât live without her. He was a mess all the time, and he needed her to take care of him. Y/N was his anchor, his boulder. The one thing that was really consistent in his life.
â âm sorry, love. Really. Go back to bed. I love you.â
âLove you too, H. Goodnight.â
And with that the line went silent. He frowned at her words. To them, âlove youâ and âI love youâ have different meanings to it. They would say âlove youâ whenever they were angry and upset at each other. It never held the same meaning without the âIâ in it. Didnât feel as special anymore.
Harry finally arrived home, smiling as he saw Y/N waiting at the airport for him to arrive.
âLove!â he shouted as he dropped his bags and ran to her, picking her up off the ground as he spun her around. â âve missed you.â he begins showering her with kisses.
She laughs slightly and looks down at him, kissing his nose.
âMissed you too, Harry.â she takes his hand and walks out to the car with him, the shine in her eyes only returning a little bit. She didnât want him to see her cry. Y/N had reached her breaking point. She worked her ass of to get into her top school, only to be denied. On top of that her grandpa died recently, and she had to go to the funeral alone because when she told Harry, he was drunk. She knew that after the release of his album, he would go on tour again, leaving her to be by herself as she finished up her studies. It didnât help that the news outlets had articles floating around about Harry leading a mystery woman to his room while he was in Jamaica. Normally, she would never believe any of those stories, but with so many things piling up on her plate emotionally, she wasnât sure what to believe anymore or how to feel. Her mental health was in no way in good condition. She became numb very easily.
She got in the car and began to drive to their shared home, not really talking too much on the way back. Harry didnât seem to mind though, he was simply on his phone texting away to his friends, checking social media, whatever the hell was going on in his life.
Y/N pulled into the driveway and helped Harry with his luggage, bringing it back inside. The house still had that familiar floral scent that Y/N loved so much. He takes in a deep breath and smiles to himself, plopping down on the couch after he brings his things back into their bedroom.
âAh, feels good to be home.â he stated happily. Harry notices that Y/N doesnât come sit down next to him immediately like she normally does when he returns from a long time away from her. âCome âere, pet. Want to cuddle yeh.â
She nods and sits down next to him, deciding to lay her head on his lap as he played with her hair. She shuts her eyes in hopes that she can prevent the tears from falling, but to no avail. He feel something fall onto his leg, warm and wet.
âLove, are you cryinâ?â he asks quietly.
Y/N shakes her head and curls into a ball, wiping her eyes subtly.
âWhatâs wrong?â he continues to pry.
âNothing. Donât worry about it.â she stuttered.
âNo, love, look at me. Whatâs goinâ on?â
Deep down, Harry knew. He knew about all the nights she cried herself to sleep, he knew how her tears would dry faster with time whenever he left. Harry knew that he was fucking up, but he didnât know how to fix any of it. He was away more than he was home, and when he was home, he wasnât focused on the two of them, he was focused on something completely different. Everytime she came to visit, he didnât spend much time with her at all, leaving her alone on the tour bus. It wasnât until the last few months when he noticed the light in her burning out. He never understood what was happening until Niall brought it to his attention.
âOi, mate. Your girl alright?â
Harry glances over at Y/N sitting at the bar by herself, swirling her glass of alcohol around. It was untouched, and the ice was beginning to melt.
âShe looks alright to me.â he half yells in the club they were in.
âYou sure? She seems a bit sad. Doesnât seem as happy anymore to me.â Niall responds.
Harry looks over one more time, now noticing her pale face, the bags under her eyes, and the dulled expression in her eyes. He was right. How could he not notice this before? Not only was she his girlfriend, but she was his best friend as well. He could always tell when something was wrong.
âY/N, talk to me.â Harry demands.
She sits up from his lap, using his borrowed sweater to wipe her eyes.
âYou know I love you more than anyone in this world, but we can still love each other without being together, right?â she pulls her sleeves over her hands, wiping at her eyes. Mascara ran down her face, streaking her cheeks with black. Harry broke on the inside, seeing her so hurt. He didnât think he would ever get over the sight of her breaking right in front of him.
âWhat are you talkinâ bout, darlinâ?â he whispers.
âHarryâŠâ she begins. âIâve been trying so hard. So fucking hard to be myself, to be that happy, normal girl I normally am. But itâs⊠itâs so difficult. Iâm tired. Iâm drained. I canât keep doing this whole⊠waiting for you to come back for me. Wondering if youâve found someone better⊠the thought that you could leave me in the dirt. You know youâre my best friend and the love of my life, and you always will be⊠but fuck Harry! Itâs like you arenât even here anymore. Even when youâre with me⊠your head is somewhere else. I canât take it. I had to go to my grandpaâs funeral alone because you couldnât even spare a couple of days to be with me. You know how close I was with him! It wouldâve meant the world to me if you were there to help me. I had no one! My momâs a deadbeat and my dad left us. You were supposed to be the one to hold me. You were supposed to be there for me when I spoke about him, and how I was crying on the stand hoping someone would be there to let me know that everything was going to be okay. I got denied to go to my top graduate school, and I couldnât even tell you because you were so proud of your album and I didnât want to be a nuisance about it. Itâs not fair, Harry. Itâs really not!â she explodes. Sheâs sobbing now, the pain in Harryâs chest increasing with every tear that falls from her delicate face. He never realized how much pain she was in. Sure, he began noticing the signs that something was wrong⊠but he didnât know about all this new information she just let out on him.
Harry didnât have any words. What was he supposed to say? An apology wasnât going to cut it, but at this point he wasnât even sure words were going to make anything okay anymore. His vision became blurry as tears began to fill his own eyes, the emerald green that once showed so much love and light disappearing. It was replaced with hurt and anger, mainly at himself for not being a better boyfriend, and being a shit best friend.
Harry was snapped out of his trance when she spoke once more.
âWe donât stand a chance, do we Harry?â

Prog 15: 4-Jun-1977
alright where the fuck were we
Invasion! #15
oh right this shit
So Savage and the rest of the Brits are getting ready to attack a nuclear research station. A couple of men try to bluff their way in in Volgon, but a guard calls out a command in English and they respond, blowing their cover. Once again, the only competent man is Savage, who steals a truck full of acid and plows it into the research station, somehow blowing it up.
I promised before my big hiatus I was gonna try and be more insightful. So hereâs my insight--boring as it is to read, Iâve come around on the basic conceit. The idea of this working-class manâs-man great-man-of-historying himself all over the place with superior intelligence, brawn, and plain dumb luck, consistently besting people whoâve worked their whole lives to become competent military men...you could, hypothetically, make it work.
Waaaay back when I said âsocial commentary has never been a major selling point for me when it comes to storiesâ. I phrased it dumbly, but I think what I meant was social commentary canât be all there is. You need something to sustain it. It can be narratively substantial: interesting characters, engaging storylines. It can be fun to read: witty prose, interesting visual style choices, exciting action scenes. But thereâs gotta be something to latch onto besides a deep meaning and a nifty premise. And it just...doesnât look like thatâs gonna happen for Invasion! any time soon.
So for right now, I think, this and my piece on Prog 14 are my last words on Invasion! outside of plot summaries. I donât want to keep repeating myself.
Flesh #15
The beastsâ war on mankind begins in earnest. Dinosaurs are driving cars! Spiders are knocking on doors! Itâs a madhouse!
Reaganâs managed to secure control from...the Controller...but itâs too late. Corporate isnât sending reinforcements --itâd be unprofitable. And Joe, the only one who realized what a mad, stupid world he lived in, gets eaten by spiders.
To its credit, the comic frames this as a tragedy. Joe didnât meet the toxic masculine archetype seemingly required to survive in this world, and Carver claims it was his lack of masculinity that dooms him. But Reagan insists that Joe was worth ten Carvers--not that Joe was somehow tougher or more masculine, but had more worth as a person for not being the testosterone nightmare Carver and Reagan are.
Itâs time now for the final showdown between Reagan and Olâ One Eye. After that, itâs over year of issues before we get any more Flesh. Iâm gonna miss it.
Harlem Heroes #15
In this brief installment, Zach, the Harlem team babyface, must best one of the Scots in a sudden-death round. Nothing else really happens.
Look, theyâre not all gonna be dissertations.
Dan Dare #15
And I mean, that brevity leave more time for Dan Dare, which I know is the thing you all really care about. Dare, OâMalley, and Rok are the only survivors of a crash landing on Mekronâs hidden planet, and surrender in order to gather information.
The big thing to dig into is the sudden infodump about Rokâs culture. His species honors their dead by eating their corpses, and heâs never heard of surrender. While itâs nice that the strip is becoming more willing to extend alienness onto âgoodâ characters, itâs unfortunate that this also makes him a generic Proud Warrior Race Guy. Also, heâs got a laser sword, because clearly someone was hype for Star Wars.
The other big thing is that Mekron doesnât recognize Dare, because heâs no longer drawn the way he was the last time Mekron was relevant. Itâs becoming increasingly obvious that the strip is playing tug-of-war with itself, between the bizarro art piece it wants to be and the generic space opera mold old-time Dare fans expect. After all, Mekron and his generic world domination plans are a far cry from the intensely weird baddies we got last story arc. Making that tension an active part of the text is an interesting choice--or at least, it would be if either version of Dare was exciting to me.
M.A.C.H.1 #15
In âBepalâ, John Probe investigates the mysterious maulings of people who turned down the chance to get in on the opium trade. Though the victims claim their assailants were invisible, they were merely yetis, their white skin rendered invisible by the snowfall. Probe sics them on their master.
Weâve forsaken the Probe/brain computer buddy-cop act this week, which saps Probe of anything resembling human interest.
Obviously villainizing the âBepalâians for dealing opium, and South Asian people in general, is fucking awful, especially for a British comic.
Yeah.
Judge Dredd #14
Dredd combats Call-Me-Kennethâs robot army by installing the âOld Law of Roboticsâ in his processing plant, creating an equal and opposite army of human-worshipers.
The comic continues to rely on Call-Me-Kenneth being a homicidal dictator to justify why robots might want humans to stay in power. Back in 2015, I rolled my eyes at the comicâs hamfisted attempt to weasel out of the implications of its pro-slavery storyline. But now I think I see what the storyâs doing, giving us the first taste of the âbetter the fascism you knowâ ethos thatâll stifle any real change in the Dredd universe for generations. The comic at its best is about challenging the idea that a firm hand is needed to keep people in line by showing the logical endpoint of such a line of thought--Kenneth is simply another version of that.
Your mileage may vary as to whether that point is being made successfully. Iâm with holding judgement for the moment.

Never once had either of you thought things would end, but that night it did for a Jinn hunt gone wrong 2 lovers seperated for they were so sure it could have been more..
âDean donât the floor its rigged to blow... i know you came all this way to save me but save yourself, save your brother get out of here...â Dean looked around and got knocked over by a jinn hitting him on the head your name falling from his lips in a slow breath; shortly after that you screamed Deanâs name as that same jinn knocked you over the head as well, then everything to them felt as though their bodies were being dragged off...
they both woke in the hospital a few days later with no memory of who eachother was nor what happened. they were released only hours later after a few tests and talking to the doctors but still felt like they were missing something, they felt like something had been torn away from them.
no one expected this to last no one had wanted them to do this hunt, they exited the hospital only to discover there wasnt any shortage of space for they bumped into eachother exiting the hospital you got knocked off your balance but apoligizing to eachother Dean strode off with his brother Sam towards the impala and you towards a taxi which would take you to the nearest bus depot.
over time the reader & Dean have emerced themselves in hunting full time no questions comments concerns or anything, they were trying to find someway to fill the void the emptiness within their own hearts, the void that was created when the jinn wiped their memories of eachother.
for together they were stronger, but you seperate them you kill their strength and you show them what its like to be truly weakened by your own emotions.
It is said some lives are linked across time and space. Connected by an ancient calling that echoes throughout the ages. something that is older than fate herself. you and Dean had always been connected by Destiny. for it would be another 3 years before you would see eachother again.
----------3 YEARS LATER----------
amara is slaughtering preachers in search of a way to get in touch with her wayword brother God, Sam and Dean meet with crowley who didnt believe Dean at first when he told him about how if Amara were to unleash her full power that not even crowley the king of hell would be safe.
crowley then tells the boys that there may be a way for Sam to meet with Lucifer, but that they would need to neutralize Lucifer`s power. Upon their discovery of that knowledge, Crowley continues to tell the boys that the only way to neutralize lucifers power is the need for certain spell work; which would come from the book of the damned, which they learn is in the book of the damned, which they find out is with Rowena.
the boys work with Rowena and Crowley to get everything ready while Dean catches wind of the murders being done by amara decides to leave Sam and rowena in the bunker to set up the spell while dean goes to investigate. Meanwhile, you are rolling into town the same time as Dean you both end up at the police station not acknowledging eachother at first until the sherif turns to acknowledge you noticing your badge he says, "well agent your partner is already inside the morgue come let me show you where it is.."
at this point you were very confused, you had no idea what kind of idiot boy scout you were dealing with but you were sure going to kick them in the ass if they screwed this up for you. you followed the sherif who let you into the morgue and you wlked in behind him, stopping slightly as you caught sight of the other 'badge' you immediately cleared your throat and gave him a small smile as he extended his hand to you, "agent dean macoy..."
you took his hand, "agent 'your first and last name' so your my new partner... from headquarters i assume... funny they didnt tell me you were coming in on this..." you said with a snarky attitude kinda not getting a good vibe from this guy. as he chuckled and began to show you the otopsy report you as the radio in there was going it was playing your favorite song,
"Turn it up, it's your favorite song
Dance, dance, dance to the distortion
Come on, turn it up, keep it on repeat
Stumbling around like a wasted zombie
Yeah, we think we're free
Drink, this one is on me
We're all chained to the rhythm
To the rhythm
To the rhythm"
you sang loud enough that your 'partner' could hear you, he then smiled and looked at you, "you know this song is like totally easy to strip to right?" you turned to him and chuckled, "whats the title if your a fan of this song for your own twisted reasons?" agent macoy chuckled and you could tell he liked your sass, "Chained to the rhythm by katy perry... im not an idiot i wasnt born yesterday sweetheart.. would you like to get a beer after work partner?"
you agreed and walked out of the station together and started talking you both discovered your interests were the same, you also discovered you were both staying at the same motel across town. you guys drove back playing leap frog on the road, upon their arrival back at the motel to discover that their rooms were beside eachother.
with a swift chuckle out of Dean he got out of his sweet looking 1967 Chevy Impala, coming to your drivers door and smiling as he opened the door helping you out of the car. you smiled as your hands lingered, your eyes locked onto eachother with the look of lust swelling across the seas making your heart beat faster in your chest.
Dean cleared his throat and walked you to your room and kissed your hand and smiled, "such nice soft hands for a hunter... how long you been in the life?" you smiled and sighed, "that is a story better left for the bar... meet by ur nice impala when we are cleaned up and done?" you say as you lean over and kiss his cheek the stubble off his chin tickling you.
"absolutely sweetheart..." dean smiled at you one more time before you both entered your rooms at the same time. you were relieved to remove your fed outfit, and now to find your perfect outfit to go to the bar in with Dean. you loved the way his name sounded but you wondered if that fed name was his actual name or his fake name.
considering he is a hunter too it wouldnt surprise you if that wasnt his real name so you called Garth and decided to check in, "your name whats the word on those church murders is it something heavenly or hellish???" you chuckled and smiled, "calm down Garth i met up with another hunter when i went to talk to the sherif. he has these green eyes that make my heart soar... we are actually going to grab some beers for some relax after our win at the police station."
Garth chuckled on the other end and you smiled as you zipped up your favorite mini jean skirt and put on your jet black tank top, "oooo your name gots a date your name gots a date... i want a full report on it within the fortnight..."
that made you laugh as you tried to do up your leather boot, "of course Garth i gotta go ill call you tomorrow.." you hung up the phone and laughed grabbing your holister and tucking it under your right boot and tucking ur gun in there and then you grabbed your brand new leather jacket (cause your other one had been shredded by a werewolf a while back).
you made sure you had your phone but left your pager in the room and obviously had your ID and your wallet you werent sure where this night was going but it was looking good so far. you made sure your room key was in your wallet and then you exited the motel room. you looked up to see Dean, looking ravenously hot leaning on the hood of his sleak black 1967 Impala.
"well well well she cleans up good for a huntress... perfect to match my hunter... wouldnt you agree..." Dean said as he strode towards you, making you smile, "Dean when i checked in with my friend he mentioned to me that i should have started dating years ago... not saying you know i dont actually know if this is a date or not but he said he wants a full report within a fortnight..."
Dean laughs as he opens the passenger door to his 1967 Impala and lets you inside. the leather interior cool against ur skin but u didnt care, things at that moment just seemed to feel normal like it had all happened before. Dean closed the door when you were safely inside and he crawled in on his side. he stuck the key in the ignition and your face lit up happily as the engine purred to life, you smiled as led zepplin or metalica or whoever it was blasted thru the radio you didnt know why but it made you all warm and fuzzy inside.
like something out of a dream or a movie, something that made your heart skip a few beats till he reached and took your hand in his and your heart stopped slightly as you turned slightly to look in his eyes, "this is gonna sound crazy but i feel like i already knew you before today... i'm sorry if that sounds crazy but its just how im feeling."
Dean tightened his hold on your hand for the fear he had in his stomach was far too great, "no no no 'your name' dont ever think anything sounds crazy for infact i feel the same way... but why would we both be feeling like this i mean it cant possibly be the fact that... no no no there wasnt anyone with me on that hunt and plus i think i would remember...."
you looked at his now very confused, confused as to what he was talking about you took a sigh and you smiled lightly, "remember what dean?? whats going on???" you asked now slightly worried that dean might have... "yourname dont walk out on me please i dont want to loose you after i say what i am going to i fear i might..."
you reached out and touched his cheek lightly feeling his stubble run across your palm, "im not going anywhere dean i promise.." Dean breathed in and sighed, "about 3 years ago to this day i woke up in a hospital and my brother said i had been attacked by a jinn with no major injuries but he also mentioned someone else had been found where i had been found too but why would he mention that to me if not for me to question eventually he ignored me on it and everyday since ive had to live with the feeling like im missing something."
at that moment it occured to you that a similar thing had happened to you about 3 years to date, "it doesnt sound horrible actually something similar happened to me about 3 years ago too except i dont know what happened doctor said that i came in with brusing and a small concussion and a sprained shoulder but was also knocked out from the time i was brought in till 2 days later and that i wasnt the only one brought in too... same sitchuation what the hell is going on???"
Dean at that moment had an idea, he knew it was gonna be a long shot but it was their best chance possibly at finding out more about what this all means and what actually happened... dean then turned to the window and turned off the car as a smile crossed his face. he got out of the car and came over to your side and smiled as he twirled you closing the door and walking with you into his motel room, "just relax 'yourname' im not gonna get freaky but we are gonna get some answers... Castiel if you got your ears on get your feathery ass down here we need answers and we need them now"
at that moment a small woosh, suddenly a man in a trenchcoat was standing across from you and dean. now dean who now got up and sighed, "cas we need help something happened to us and made us not able to remember all the details we need to know what happened and whether or not we are connected by something..."
"actually you are... Dean Winchester meet YourFirstandLastname and vise versa your story is one hella complex thing you already knew eachother but 3 years ago you were on a hunt together you had slept together and chased this cluster of jinn across america agreeing to meet in the middle for the final 2 but when you arrived together you were a couple and it had taken you guys 1 year and 7 months of working as a couple to get that far but along the way... well why dont i show you that very same day...."
Castiel came to you and dean and touched your foreheads showing you everything from that same 24 hours:
Dean stopping at a little jewelry store and getting an engagement ring,
you both showing up at the abandoned mental hospital where the jinn had set up shop,
Dean following your every move as you did his and you both killing the first jinn only before Dean getting hit really hard and passing out slightly and you getting taken by the second jinn,
dean getting up and scowering the entire facility but finding you tied to a chair in what he presumed to be the morgue but the floor had been booby trapped and dean getting clunked on the head,
saying your name as he passed out and then you screaming his name before you got clunked on the head and passed out both of you waking up in the same hospital, both of you walking out of the hospital and back to present day...
once Cas took his fingers off yours and Deanâs foreheads you both shook your heads from the sudden return of your memories and then Cas smiled,
"your parents were destined to have both of you exactly at the precise moments you were conceived and born because you are soulmates... your destined to be together written in the stars type thing. you both were destined for a greater purpose and for that i leave you to get back to your original states."
Castiel disappeared shortly after his statement, you got up and stood at the mirror in the bathroom sighing as you splashed some cool water across your facial features you looked at dean through the mirror. you smiled lightly as your head felt like it was about to explode, your memories changing and you started to giggle,
"after all this time i thought i was alone, i never imagined that coming here would not only let me figure out this case but allow me to find my soulmate. let alone finding out it is the famous Dean Winchester, Garth Fitzgerald talks about you all the time."
you said as you strode back to him slowly but hearing him chuckle was what made you look up at him, "Garth thatâs your friend, Garth really why him why Garth... is that who wants you to report in..." you giggle as you trip over his napsack, landing in his lap, his arms tightening around you, "yourname i know that this has been just crazy, its been very crazy and we have been seperated for 3 years but right now we need to make things official they should have already been official but you need to accept my question now..."
you felt dean reach into the pocket of his leather jacket and then move himself out from beneath you, you watched him kneel on the ground in  front of you,
"yourname i know that getting our memories back filled in alot of blanks but right now its just about us. so one very important question still needing to be answered, yourname will you become a Winchester and marry me in the process???"
you nodded as he slid the ring on your finger, "yes Dean although me becoming a Winchester means my family line is officially dead, oh well we were all ready a dead line, together we start something new cause we are all chained to the rhythm and we can turn it up cause its our favorite song and we will dance dance dance to the distortion..."
you kissed him pinning him to the bed between the giggles, laughing, beers, shirts flying, everything flying around the room the feeling of sensation and pleasure fill the bed your lives and the room.
-----THE NEXT MORNING-----
you woke up to your ringtone,
"It is my desire
Break down the walls to connect, inspire
Ay, up in your high place, liars
Time is ticking for the empire
The truth they feed is feeble
As so many times before
They greed over the people
They stumbling and fumbling
And we're about to riot
They woke up, they woke up the lions
(Woo!)"
Dean stirred beside you and tightened his grip on your waist as you reached for your phone and groaned at the call display, "Garth, its 8:30 iâm hungover and you're annoying me with this call because..." Garth cleared his throat on the other end as you felt dean bury his face into the back of your neck as he groaned kissing your neck now sort of conscious his stubble drafting cross your neck, "well yourname how did the evening go..."
dean picked up on the fact that it was Garth you were talking to and he nodded for you to put this on speaker, "Garth you best have a good reason for disturbing me and my gorgeous fiance at this obscenely obnoxious hour of the morning." Dean kissed your lips softly as Garth gasped, "dean my man hows it going??? & yourname you didnât tell me you were with Dean Winchester, nor the fact that you knew him i mean both of you... but how?????"
you smile as dean buries his lips into the crook of your neck and you giggle, "Garth, that`s a long story which i will tell you when we next do a meeting, but i plea you to spread word around amongst the hunters that Dean Winchester is getting married and formal invites will follow..."
you smiled as a light moan slipped from your lips and Garth cleared his throat, "well well well so whens the wedding????" dean then sighed, "bye Garth we will speak to you when we do..." dean then closed the call and hung up you only smiled and laughed it was the most amazing night ever.
-------- 1 year later---------
THE DAY HAD ARRIVED, the flowers everywhere, the bunker dun up in loads of twinkle lights, the hustle and bustle of Charlie and others rushing round, getting everything ready but mostly the annoyance of Sam and Charlie having you and Dean trapped away from eachother.
Charlie having you stuck in your old room & Sam having stuck Dean in what was soon to be your shared room but there was something that made today seem like something out of a dream.
thru text tho you and dean were able to exchange i love you's and chit chat while you both were prodded and poked and dressed and such by Charlie and Sam. everyone was having fun but as the music started you started to get nervous...
you and dean were allowed to call only once both of you were ready, "Dean i don`t know if its just me but now wearing this dress and these stupid heels, i suddenly am nervous to do this in front of all these people..."
"don`t stress sweetheart just think we will be legal after this.. trust me we have been chained into the same rhythm for a long time and today is my favorite day cause today i get tied to the woman who has made me a better man... i`ll see you out there babe..." Dean said as Sam and Charlie both entered your quarters and announced it was time and took your phones away hanging them up...
you breathed in and smiled as you heard the intro to your favorite song and you started to sing along,
"Are we crazy?
Living our lives through a lens
Trapped in our white picket fence
Like ornaments..."
as you were led from your room down the hall which now had a red carpet and still yet you continued to sing but once you entered the main hall you were stopped by Sam who had volunteered to walk you down the aisle even tho technically he was also the best man but he was the closest person to do the job and you wouldn`t have it another way.
you walked over to Sam who hugged you and congratulated you before linking your arm in his and the chorus started and everyone rose as Castiel said, "all rise for the entry of the bride..." at which point you started down the aisle with Sam and as soon as you locked eyes with dean you were sure you would fall but you knew that wouldn't happen as long as you lived with these fantastic people.
it was here finally as Sam placed your hand in deans and took his place beside his brother you smiled as you and dean approached Cas who smiled,
"ladies gentlemen friends family it gives me the extreme honor of marrying Dean Winchester and YourFirst&LastName, these 2 people have been through so much being hunters, this life is never easy but when things get tough the tough stay strong for it is the strength of family and friends that gets us through this rough life. now as dean and yourname have opted for saying the short and sweet versions of their vows i would like to invite them to do so now..."
dean straightened up and smiled,
"yourname i know we have been through so much but now we never have to be alone again you have a home with me and Sam and everyone here we know how this life is especially for someone who had no one else who searched for so long we know that nothing is easy, but everything comes with a price, you paid that price when you started hunting you killed the thing that took your family from you.. but it was your courage and thrill of the hunt that brought you to me, now we never have to be apart again. i love you yourname and i`m happy your mine..."
you smiled and sniffled slightly as you sighed,
Â
"Dean your right you always are no matter what anyone says, i know we shouldn`t have taken our time together the first time for granted but loosing you and yet still ever worse loosing my memory of you has made me a better person a stronger hunter and as you said the huntress to your hunter. i`m proud to on this day become your wife and i only regret not stabbing that stupid memory stealing jinn when i had the chance... i know i`ve said it before but i wasn`t kidding you make me happy you are not useless you are my superman and i wouldn`t want anyone else... i love you dean and i cant wait to see where life will take us..."
Cas cleared his throat as Charlie and Sam handed off the rings which were immediately placed allowing Cas to continue, Â Â Â Â
"and so by the power vested within me by the laws of heaven and earth i hereby finally pronounce you husband and wife, dean you may kiss your bride" Â
Dean was familiar with that part he wrapped his arms around your waist and dipped you kissing you passionately earning claps awes and ooos from the crowd as the song finished,
"It goes on, and on, and on
'Cause we're all chained to the rhythm"

Hang out
It is the middle of the day as Laxine lies asleep on her bed. At least lying asleep in an awkward position. That ended as her phone rings as she gets startled by it, falling off her bed as she let out a grunt when she hit the floor. "Ow... fuck... that hurts." Extending her arm to search for her phone in the position she's in, she eventually found it under her bed and turned her head to see who would be calling. It is Hexina. She hasn't talked to her in a long time.
She answered. "Uh... hello?"
"Laxine! Are you there? Are you awake? Did I disturb you at a very bad time? Anyways how are you, Laxine, my dear old friend?!" Hexina says excitingly.
"I'm doing alright, Hexi. And... I'm awake now. So what's up?" Laxine moves herself into a sitting position to be comfortable while she rubbed her head from when she hit the floor.
"Oh! I called because I wondered if you wish to participate in some fun activities with me and Linith! We both thought we'd go to a stripper club as a chance for us to all get together as a big reunion!"
"Oh~? A stripper club? Well, why the hell not?"
"Yay! We will arrive at your residence as soon as we can! Be sure to freshen up and get yourself ready."
"Got it, Hexi. See you later." Hanging up, she leaves her phone on the dresser as she got up stretching and yawning a bit.
She grabbed some towels and walked out of her room while lazily taking off whatever clothes she still had on, heading to the bathroom. After a couple of minutes of showering, she got out, drying herself off and headed back to her room and to her closet, thinking on what to wear. "Hmm. Let's see... what to wear, what to wear." Tapping her chin for a moment as she finally decided. Putting on the clothes she picked she looked over at herself in the mirror and smiled. "Nice! Showing lots of ass with this skirt~"
Heading downstairs, she goes to the kitchen and fills up a glass with water, drinking it as she sits and texts her mate while she wait for the girls to arrive. An hour later, she hears knocking on the door, assuming it must be Hexina and Linith. Getting off of the chair and opening the door, she is greeted with a hug from Hexina. "Laxine! My friend it has been so long since I have last seen you it has almost felt like an eternity!" Hexina excitedly says.
"Hey, Hexina. Missed ya, too." Laxine looked over to seeing Linith standing outside the doorway as she waved at her and she returned the favor. "Sup, Lin."
"Nothing much. Good to see you again." Linith smiled as she noticed that Hexina hasn't let go yet. Rolling her eyes, she reached over and pulled Hexina away. "Alright, miss cyborg. I think she got the message."
"Laxine! Are you fairing well? Have you hydrated yourself to where you might be okay upon the arrival of the stripper club?" Hexina asked.
"Yes, Hexina." Laxine answered. "I'm fine to go to the club. You don't need to worry about me. I know how to take care of myself, jeez."
"I only wish to look out for my friends and to make sure they are in good condition to be out and about." The blue blood replied. "But I'm happy that you are doing good~ Let's go!" As she says that, she runs off as Laxine and Linith just stood in the same positions they have been and just looked at each other, both shrugging and followed the cyborg girl.
The three of them talked as they walked to the club, catching up on things after a long hiatus that Laxine commenced for who knows how long. It's good to be out, getting fresh air and talking to her friends again. She missed it. All three arrived at the club and headed inside to seeing some strippers doing their thing on the poles. Hexina got excited, already pulling out money and ran to throw them at the strippers as Laxine and Linith head to a bar, ordering some drinks for themselves.
"So how have you been, Lin?" Laxine asked."
"I've been doing okay. Just busy with science shit. You know how it is."
"Yeah... forgot you deal with all that biz. Too confusing for me to deal with numbers, equations, chemicals and all that crap."
"How about you and your mate?"
"Oh, uh, he's a big 'ol octopus... thingy...?" Thinking for a moment, Laxine just answered it in the most simplest way possible. "His lower half is literally tentacles like an octopus."
"Woah, I bet he's good in bed."
"Oh hell yes~ He's fucking good in bed and his dick is like... UNF... pure fucking bliss. Anyways, how about your mate? How's she been?"
"Um... I uh... don't know."
"What do you mean?"
"I mean, I don't know. We haven't talked in a while..."
"When was the last time you talked to her?"
"It was during the time she took me to her other home for a vacation. I stayed there with her for a couple of weeks." The red blood rubbed the back of her neck, seeing her drink arrived and drank it, setting the glass down on the bar counter. "I'm actually... a bit worried. More so about her and wondering if I might... not be so interesting to her anymore. I mean... I was once like you! Just hopping onto every dick, but that was because of some heavy stuff I wanted to repress though it didn't help well. Then she came into my life and she was everything to me. She still is! Though now... I feel like I might not be good enough for her anymore. I mean... what if she just left me and, and, and without telling me because I might not be good enough for her?!"
"Woah, woah, woah. Calm down, Lin" Laxine placed a hand on her shoulder, comforting Linith. "Don't think that stupid crap. I'm sure she still loves you. Be patient and she'll come around eventually and if not, go to her and find out for yourself. If you love her that much, then, shit, go to her. Fucking hug her and never let go. Alright?"
"I guess. Thanks, Lax." Linith smiled. "You are always optimistic, you know that?"
"Hey! Thinking good vibes helps. Even dirty optimism gets the guys hard as fuck~ If you know what I'm sayin'?"
"I don't think that makes any sense."
"Eh, it doesn't have to. Just know I'm always happy and nothing ruins that shit! Cause when I'm happy, I get down and dirty! I'm hitting up those private rooms~! Go and have fun~ Dance or some shit like that. Throw some money at those strippers." Getting off of the stool, Laxine walked passed Linith as the red blood gives a playful slap on the Laxine's ass. Laxine turned around to seeing Lintih giving an innocent shrug. The teal blood just grinned and walked off, going over to a stripped and leads her to one of the private rooms.
Sitting on a chair, she puts money down on the table next ot her as the stripper began to do a lap dance in front of her. "Holy shit... such a nice ass~" The women turned around to face Laxine, giving her a wink.
"Aren't you a cutie~ You look sexy enough to be around those poles there on stage." The women said, turning around as she swayed her hips in front of the teal blood.
"Trust me. It isn't the first time I was told that. Keep shaking that wonderful ass of yours, sexy~" Laxine smirked. "God I wish I had a dick. I'd totally be jacking off right now..."
"Hey, you should call me and maybe we can have some fun together some time~" The girl got on Laxine's lap, softly grinding on her as the teal blood attempted to go and grab the girl's breasts but had her hands gently pulled away and had her head turned to a sign on a wall. "No touching. Only watch." The girl got off Laxine's lap and giggled. "Nice try, cutie~"
Laxine laughed a little until she heard a familiar voice from outside the room. Staying very still, she listened closely and recognized a voice she hasn't heard in a long time. 'It couldn't be...' She thought. 'Jalone? Here?' Laxine gets up from the chair, opening the door and looking down the hallway and then the other end to seeing a familiar hair style walk by. "Hey! Didn't you not like-"
"I'm sorry! I really did like it!" The teal blood pulled out some more money and placed it on the table. "I'll see you in a bit maybe, okay? Bye for now!" Laxine ran out, looking over the small crowd of trolls to spot the horns of Jalone. Seeing them, she quickly chased after him until seeing him exiting the club. Going out the doors, she looked right, not seeing him until looking left to spot him. Walked for a while as Laxine followed him, but kept her distance from him. 'Why was he in the club?' Laxine thinks for a moment as she's following him. 'He doesn't do clubs. He's too fancy for that...'
Jalone finally turned a corner and headed to an alley as Laxine followed behind him, slowly and quietly, not wanting to make attention of herself. She sees him in the middle of the alleyway as she slowly walks behind a dumpster, waiting to see what will happen. 'Why are you here, you asshole?' She thought. After a couple of minutes, some other trolls came to visit him.
"What's the update?" The trolls said to Jalone.
"Our girls that went out to look for the red blood did confirm that she works at some cafe." Jalone says. "I want you to inform Morrin about this. He'll have Merlee soon enough."
Merlee? Why does that name sound familiar to her? Thinking for a moment, she finally remembered that one party that was held by a red blood in the middle of the woods. Laxine and Hexina were invited to the party. What does Jalone want with Merlee? Does he want to make her into his slave? The same thing he wanted to do to Laxine when he came back to visit her that one time? So many questions. Perhaps it might be best to warn Merlee about it and maybe make an offer with her. Laxine still hated him. She hates him with all her being and that day when she kicked him in the gut wasn't enough. No. She wants to make him suffer. Walking out of the alleyway, she makes her way back to the club but still lost in thought from the information she heard.
"Jalone..." She whispers to herself. "This time, you're not gonna leave my sight and I will end your fucking life. Once. And. For. All."

Prince Harry... FULL
It was Valentines Day and as every year for the past 3 years you were excited because you had the most amazing man in the world to call yours. You were also excited because for once you had a surprise for him. Both of you being 21 and ready to settle down and have a family. You both decided it was the right time. That was your surprise you wanted to propose to Harry and give him a gift. The âgiftâ being a baby. You couldnât believe so quickly that it had happened. But itâs not like you were trying to prevent it either. You had taken a test and went to the doctors two weeks ago and they had said that you were ten weeks, so you werenât that far along. It was still shocking to you though. You couldnât believe a baby and a wedding all at the same time. You were sure Harry would be just as excited and for that reason you couldnât wait to tell him. It was just now 7:30!so he should be home any second to be getting ready so he could take you out for Valentines Day, he loved spoiling you. You were already dressed, Harry had laid out a beautiful outfit for you and a scarf and boots with a note that said âDinner is at 8:30 put this on and be ready by 8.â You wondered which restaurant he was taking you to because he knew your favorite and it would also be the perfect place to share your surprise. So as you were thinking about everything, Harry walks through the door with a big bouquet of flowers with another note attached that reads âBaby, Youâre Perfect.â you couldnât help but cry because of how sweet all of his gestures were. He grabbed you in his embrace and asked âwhatâs the matter babe.â âNothing is the matter.â You say, âitâs just, I wonder everyday what I done to deserve someone as amazing as you.â âI wonder the same thing when I come home and I get to sleep next to the most beautiful woman on the planet.â He says, making you cry again. You both in each otherâs arms, he kisses your forehead. âBabe, Iâve got to go get dressed if weâre going to make this dinner reservation.â He says. âHurry back love.â You say as heâs making his way upstairs. You think to yourself as he is making his way upstairs to the shower. Harry never took to long in the shower, his hair took the longest and it only took about 5 minuets. He had become accustomed to rushing in the past years. So it only took him about 20 minuets tops to be completely ready. But you wondered if your baby would have long brown hair like his or short, red hair like yours. You wondered if your baby would have more of the Styles family features or your familyâs. Either way you couldnât wait to meet your little guy or gal. Harry was making his way down the stairs and you couldnât help but smile. He goes to the front door and opens it for you and says âMy ladyâ while he extended his hand all butler like, which made you giggle. He knew just what to do to make you laugh and smile and always made it a point to do so. Walking out of the front door and to the car he also opens the car door for you, and waits until you are all in to shut the door. Quickly you rummage through your bag to make sure you had the box with the ring and the test. Coming around the drivers side Harry notices you rummaging, âDo you have everything?â He ask âYes love, all ready to go.â Reassuring him. On the drive to the restaurant he grabs your hand with one of his to hold while he drove with just one. In no time it felt like, you were already at the restaurant. It was your favorite, as you suspected but you were totally fine with that, it made this moment that much better. Harry went to the hostess and she showed you both to your table. Sitting for just a moment he ordered both of you food. âI think we are both going to have the chefâs choice.â Harry said. You always loved when he done that. It was all the little things that he was doing that reassured you the choice you were about to make was definitely the right one. So you reached in your purse without him seeing and you began, âHarry there is something I need to ask you..â âIs everything alright love?â He ask. â.. Yes, everything is perfect actually which is why I want to ask you this..â You continued. You stood up and walked toward him and got down on one knee and opened the box and said âHarry Edward Styles, will you make me the happiest woman alive and marry me.â âHe stands up and pulls a box out of his pocket and says âOnly if you do me the honor of marrying me." He says. You stand tall and he puts the ring on your finger and, you put the ring on his and you grab his face and kiss him. This had to be the craziest thing, you both having the same idea, and neither of you saying anything and making this so funny. Definitely a proposal to remember. The whole restaurant cheering along while taking photos and video. Sitting down, âThere is something else too Harry.â You say. You reach in your purse again and grab the other box and he says âwhatâs this? A gift? but babe my gift to you was the ring.â âJust open it and you will see.â He opened it, inside you wrote a note that said âOur greatest adventure is just beginning.â âWhatâs this mean babe?â He realizes as he reaches inside the box and finds the test. His face showing awe. âIâm going to be a father?â He says with tears in his eyes. âAre you mad?â You ask him âDarling, mad is the furthest thing from what I am feeling right now.â He says. âI could not be happier than I am in this moment here with you, the mother of my child, my fiancĂ©, my everything.â Bringing tears to your eyes again. âHave you told anyone yet about the pregnancy?â He ask. âWell I have to confess, I did tell 2 people.â You laugh. âI told Your mum and Gemma.â As those words escape your mouth, Harryâs cell rings. âSpeak of the devil.. Itâs Gemma.â You both laughed as he answered the phone. âHey Gemma.â He answered âThank you very much, I know your going to make the best Auntie and mum is going to make the best Gran.â He responded. âOkay, we will be over later, we are eating dinner now.â He tells Gemma. âRight, Bye and see you soon.â He hangs up the telephone. âWhy do we need to go see your mum and Gemma?â You ask. âWell they just said they wanted to see us.â He says. âHmm strange, you think they have something up their sleeves?â You ask âWell letâs go see shall we.â He reaches for your hand and you both stand and walk toward the door and out of the restaurant. On the drive to see Anne and Gemma you had that gut feeling that they were up to something. You asked Harry âAre you sure you donât know what your mum and sister are up to?â With a suspicious look on your face. But Harry was very cheeky and was quiet good at keeping secrets. âI donât know, honestly babe.â He has his poker face on. You pull up to Anneâs house and you see Gemmaâs car in the driveway, just Gemmaâs car, so nothing strange yet. You get out of the car and walk toward the door, you knocked to let them know you were there and then walked in. Not a soul in the tv room, kitchen or bedrooms. âIâm gonna go check the denâ Harry tells you. âOkay, Iâm just gonna go to the toilet quickly.â You let him know. You find your way to the toilet, you finish washing your hands and you see a note on the counter that reads âmake your way to the den.â So you did as instructed, you just knew Harry was up to something, like he knew which room to check. So walking to the den you hear a voice whisper âsheâs comingâ standing in the doorway of the den you turn the light on and everyone jumps and says surprise. Balloons, streamers, noise makers the whole lot, There was Gemma, Anne, Lottie, Fizzy, Lou, even Louis and Niall and Liam showed up. You couldnât believe it. âWhat is this for you guys?â You say in shock. âWell we just thought we would celebrate you and Harry and this new life that you all are starting.â Gemma says stepping forward âYou know, Iâve considered you a sister for quiet sometime now.. I just wanted to show you how much I love you.â Gemma embraces you and kisses your cheeks. âWe love you darling and wanted you to do something special for you.â Lottie speaks out. âYes, weâve never seen Harry so happy and this is also our way of saying thank you for being so good to him.â Niall interjects. Harry makes his way to the front. âWell the plan was to was to propose here with everyone present so since that isnât gonna happen, I would just like to say.. Thank you everyone for celebrating both of these momentous occasions with us and thank you for being family.â âYes, thank you all, you have no idea how much this means to us.â You say.
FF: 4 MONTHS
It was about 7 am when you woke up. You couldnât believe just two weeks ago you and Harry found out that you are bringing twins into this world. A little boy and girl at that. It was sure to be a challenge but you wouldnât change it for anything in the world. You were ecstatic to be on this journey with Harry. âHow are my lovelies this morning?â Harry says coming down the stairs not long after you, as he smelled the breakfast you were cooking for him. âWeâre all good in the womb today love.â He walked over to you and kisses you on your forehead and then kissed your belly. âYou know, Iâm glad the boys and I took this hiatus, if it wasnât for that then you and I wouldnât be here right now.â âI love you so much.â You tell him and you kiss his lips. âHey, I was thinking about doing a film night, you know just you and me in our pjs and with some Chinese takeout and cuddling on the couch, what do you think?â You ask. âSounds like a good way for me to get to spend quality time with my 3 favorite people.â He says. So you both sit down to the breakfast table and eat and Harry offers to clean up while you go and get cleaned up. You go upstairs and get showered and everything, even a fresh face of makeup. You come back down and Harry had everything cleaned up. âThis is why you are the most amazing man on the planet, thank you so much babe.â You exclaim. âAnything to keep that beautiful smile on your face.â he says sweetly to you. âHow about you and I go to the store and pick out films and get some sweets for when we get a sweet tooth?â You ask just to see if he would say yes, because you know he hates any type of store. Well I guess I should go and get used to making those quick trips.â He says, and you both start laughing. âI was just joking love, but you are more than welcome to join me if you want.â You say to him still kind of tickled at this whole moment. Harry decided he wanted to go. You get to the store and the quick trip went better than expected, Harry done well and was helpful when it came to picking the films and candy, which you didnât expect because he usually just tells you to pick up what you like since he doesnât usually go to the store with you. You get in the car ready to leave, heading home. Then you realize what time it is, itâs just now 1:00. Since the film and Chinese takeout was going to be dinner, you both decided to grab a light lunch a soup and salad from Olive Garden, another of your favorite places. Harry goes in and orders the food to go so you didnât have to wait for anything. You get home and sit at the table and start eating your lunch. You get a phone call from your Baby doctor and he ask you to come in as soon as possible he had something he needed to share with you. âOkay weâll be there straight away.â You tell Harry what the doctor said a little frightened. âIâm sure there is nothing to worry about Love, donât worry.â He says trying to calm you down. You both finish your lunch, and Harry drove you to the doctors, you were kinda scared so you sat in the passenger seat and Harry holding your hand just like always. You put your other hand on your belly rubbing and saying, itâs gonna be okay babies, itâs okay. Mummy and Daddy are here.â You arrive at the doctors and they take you back almost immediately because there was no one else to be seen. You sit for a moment waiting on the doctor and he walks in and ask how you are âI guess weâre okay, unless you have something that says otherwise.â You say, still scared. âWell itâs not anything bad I promise, every time you come in the babies have good heartbeats and their fingers and toes and all is well.â He reassures you. âWhat does concern me however is your small stature and if you will be able to deliver them normally. We need to discuss the possibilities of a cesarean.â The doctor says. In your mind you are relieved because you thought it was much worse than this, you couldnât bare it if you had done something to unintentionally harm your twins or if anything was wrong with them. âWell I guess we have to do what we have to do, right?â You say relieved. âI have to say doctor, you gave us quiet a scare, we thought something terrible happened.â You say relived again. âI am truly sorry about that dear, but we canât make these types of telephone calls we have to pull you into the office for these types of discussions, you know just in case you have any concerns or questions.â He says apologetically. âItâs okay, we were just concerned thatâs allâ Harry interjects. You could tell he felt a sense of relief as well, the entire time he had such a tight grip on your hand and as the doctor was speaking you felt it loosen. âOh and one other thing.â The Dr. said Harryâs grip tightened. âWell you know weâve been saying you were about 6 months right? Well turns out you are measuring about 7 and a half months which is right at 30 weeks.â You both look at the Dr. kind of confused. âDonât worry, this is very common when carrying twins, that just means you will probably deliver earlier than expected, which is why the cesarean was brought up, because like I said with your stature it will be difficult to deliver normally so we need to get your appointment scheduled.â âHow soon does it need to be scheduled?â You ask the Dr. You are shocked to hear that you will be having your twins sooner than expected but as long as they are healthy itâs fine with you. âWell how about 2 weeks from today, how does that sound?â The Dr said looking at his appointment book. âThatâs rather quick donât you think Dr?â Harry asked very nervous again and his grip still tight âI mean itâs not gonna hurt the babies?â He ask. âOh no no, they should be perfectly fine, their measurements, heartbeats and everything are good and they are developing very well.â The Dr saying this made you and Harry feel better. âYou know Iâm very surprised that you didnât go into labor earlier. Most women that carry twins usually deliver around 24-28 weeks.â He said. âYouâve done everything you were supposed to do, and nothing you werenât so donât be worried, your twins will be just fine.â The Dr reassures you again. You got home from the doctor you and Harry sat on the sofa feeling a bit better that you knew nothing was wrong with the twins. But, a bit more nervous knowing that you would have them next month. You hadnât had a baby shower and, the nursery wasnât ready. You only had 2 cribs and dressers. You had thought of a theme of music. Music notes and little guitars and stuff like that. Considering who their father was you thought it was fitting, but you just hadnât gotten all the stuff to put it together. With knowing this you call Gemma. âHey Gemma, whatâs are you doing?â âGreat, why donât you and Anne come on over Harry and I have something to tell you guys.â âOkay, see you soon.â You say hanging up. âWhatâs going on Babe?â Harry asked puzzled. âWell considering the babies are coming in two weeks and we donât have the nursery ready, I figured your mum and sister could help us work on some of it before our alone time tonight.â You said. âOh, yeah. With the news today I had almost forgotten about that.â He said âI was a little scared today in there thinking that maybe something was wrong. I thank God everyday that you are happy and healthy and so are the twins.â You leaned over and kissed him on the lips and laid your head in his lap. âI love you so much.â You say to him sweetly as he plays with your hair. Seconds later the doorbell rings, you know itâs Gemma and Anne so, you and Harry both tell them to come in. âOkay so why have we been summoned to Casa De Styles today?â Gemma says in a  joking tone. Giggling you say. âWell, weâve been to the doctors today and theyâve said Iâm farther along than weâve thought, Iâm actually 7 and a half months along, and we have scheduled a cesarean for two weeks from today.â You announce âOh my Goodness, we have to plan you a baby shower then.â Anne says in shock. âThatâs why weâve brought you here so you can plan that and to see if you both wanted to help me set up the nursery.â Harry tells them. âWell of course we will, What have youâve gotten finished so far?â Gemma asked. âWe only have cribs that need to be set up.â Harry says. âSo if you ladies want to go shopping for decor while I set up the cribs that would be fine.â He continued. âAre you sure Harry?â Anne asked. I donât mind to stay back and help if you want while the girls go shopping.â She offered. âItâs okay mum, go. I know you would much rather shop than put up cribs. Iâll be fine.â Harry insisted. You, Gemma and Anne arrive at Target to see if they have what you are looking for. Of course they do. You find everything from music themed lamps, decals and bedding and you even found some canvass art. You were gonna keep the room painted white so you didnât need that. âWow I canât believe we practically found the whole nursery in one store.â Gemma says excitedly. âI know I am shocked myself. I thought we had more time to do this, Iâm sorry girls.â You say apologetically. âDear, itâs fine. We are glad that you came to us and asked us.â Anne reassures you. âNow letâs go to the baby clothes so we can find these sweet little ones outfits to come home in.â She continued. Looking at the baby clothes, you got emotional. You couldnât help but think that soon you would be a mother to not one baby, but two babies. That soon, you would be holding them in your arms. This truly was the happiest time in your life. âWhatâs wrong love?â Gemma asked concerned. âNothing, itâs just, I canât believe Iâm about to be a mother to twins and that I have the most amazing people in my life to share this experience with.â You say wiping tears and smiling. âAww, well I honestly couldnât have picked a better mother to my niece and nephew.â Gemma says and gives you a hug. âOr to my grand babies.â Anne interjects. Still feeling silly for crying you pick out outfits for the twins to come home in and you all three head to the checkout. Getting ready to leave you texted Harry and asked how it was going at home. He replied with a smiley face emoji. You get back home and see a familiar car. You walk inside and head upstairs before you start helping Gemma and Anne to bring the other things in. You were surprised to see Louis sitting working on a crib. âLouis what are you doing here?â Not that you minded but you were just confused. âHarry needed reinforcements so he brought in a real man.â He laughed. âHaha very funny Lou.â Harry came up from downstairs. And kisses you from behind âHey babe, did you get mostly everything for in here?â âMore like everything. Your mum and sister are bringing it up now.â You said excitedly. âI canât wait for you to see it.â âAs soon as we get this crib finished we can put it all in here.â Harry says. âYay, Iâll go let them know.â You kiss him and run downstairs. Seeing Gemma and Anne unbagging everything. âOkay girls, Harry and Louis are working on the last crib and when they finish with it we can move everything in.â You tell them excitedly. âI thought that was Louisâ car outside.â Gemma said laughing. âI knew Harry would need help.â Anne said laughing as well. âOh well, at least they are getting them built.â She continued. âOkay ladies, itâs all yours.â Louis says coming down to sit on the couch. âLet us know if you need any help or anything.â Harry says doing the same. They both got comfortable and turned the tv on. âYeah, Harry well let you know if we need anything.â Gemma said teasing him. You all three make your way to the nursery. You stand at the doorway and get emotional. You couldnât help but picture your babies in their nursery and in their cribs and rocking them to sleep and changing their diapers. âArenât they beautiful.â Anne says getting chocked up herself. âHow cool of a story is it going to be to tell them that their uncle Lou and Daddy built these for them. Gemma said. âOkay, ladies lets get started.â You said as you started with the bedding and Anne with the canvass art and Gemma with the decals, another touch was to put the curtains up. You found some beautiful curtains with music notes on them, then putting sonogram pictures on the dressers along with sweet music boxes that Gemma had picked out. You all take a step back and look at the masterpiece you had created in less than 3 hours. Then all of a sudden, you felt something dripping down your leg. âUmm you guys..â You say with a frightened look on your face. âwhat is it dear?â Anne says. You all three looked down. âDear God. Harry, Louis, hurry the babies are coming.â It took them both literally two seconds to get up the stairs. âItâs okay babe I got you.â Harry says picking you up, frantic. âMum, Call the hospital, Gemma, go start the car, Louis , go to our bedroom closet and get the bags.â You were just kind of frozen, because you were in such shock. Thank God for Harry because he knew exactly what to do. He carried you down the stairs and to the backseat of the car. Gemma already inside with it started as instructed. Anne was also in the passenger seat she had just hung up with the hospital. âOkay, we are on our way, thanks.â Gemma was already halfway down the road. âBabe are you okay?â Harry asked still frantic. âI guess weâll see when we get to the hospital.â You say still kinda in shock and frozen. You pull up to the hospital emergency entrance, there are nurses there waiting with a wheelchair. âHer water broke about 5 minuets ago. We got her here asap.â Harry said. As they hurried and wheeled you to a room, they got you all hooked up to fluids and everything and things seemed to calm down a bit. Harry, Louis, and Anne and Gemma all sitting waiting with you. The time now 6:15. Harry walked up to the head of your bed and kissed your forehead and said âwell looks like we wonât be ordering Chinese or watching that film tonight huh.â He kinda laughed. Moments later the Dr walked in and said âwell looks like this will be sooner than sooner, since weâve got you all hooked up, Iâm gonna go ahead and start prepping for your cesarean so we get these babies out into the world.â He says calmly. âSince your water broke not long ago we have a little time before you actually have to deliver, this being your first pregnancy an all.â He continued. âThank you Drâ you said smiling. âI shall be back in about an hour and we can take you to the operating room.â He said as he leaves the room. âWell isnât that a way to calm someone down, using words like operating room.â You said lightening the mood in the room. Everyone laughed. âAlright guys, gonna go make some phone calls and update everyone.â Louis announced âDo you mind if I do that?â He asked you. âOf course not, let them all know that everything is fine and the second the twins arrive that we will let them know, and that they are more than welcome to come visit.â You said feeling calmer about the situation. âOkay, Iâll be right back then, Iâm sure they will all be excited to hear this news.â He said leavingg the room. A few moments later, Louis stepped back in saying âlooks like the troops are on their way, I called Lottie and she said she is gonna rally everyone up and they will be in the waiting area.â âI canât believe this is actually happening, I canât believe my niece and nephew are on their way.â Gemma said excitedly. âPlease donât corrupt my kids Gemma.â Harry said laughing. âGive it a year and Iâm sure weâll all have had a part in corrupting them.â Louis jumped in. The Dr came in with some nurses, and asked âwell, are we ready?â âAs ready as Iâll ever be doc.â You said. âLetâs get you down there then.â The Dr said. The nurses came in to wheel you out in your bed so you didnât have to walk. Harry followed. âWe will see you guys when you get back.â Anne said and everyone waved. The Dr got you to the room and prepped for a second and gave you an anesthetic. Harry leaned down and kissed you again and said. âItâs all going to be alright love. As you drifted to sleep. You came too, and Harry still standing next to you in a blue hospital suit. Not his usual attire so you giggled and it hurt when you done that. So you stopped. The nurses came in with your twins and said congratulations mummy and daddy. One nurse holding your daughter gave her to Harry, the nurse holding your son gave him to you. As they wheeled you to recovery. Everyone was still waiting as they were before. As you came in they all stood up. âEveryone we would like to introduce you to Miss Evie Mae Styles at 5lbs 4oz and 19in longâ Harry said smiling with tears of joy âand Mr. Jackson Avery Styles at 6lbs 7oz and 22in longâ You said looking down at your son. Everyone in the room was just smiling looking at you and Harry admire your twins. âLouis, go get the others Iâm sure they are dying to meet the twins.â You said still admiring your son, your little boy. âHere, letâs get a a picture of you and Evie and Jackson.â He set Evie in your arms you were in awe of how beautiful your twins are. Evie had one of your features your red hair, other than that she looked more like Harry. They both had his ears, and dimples and nose, being newborn you couldnât tell what color their eyes would be yet. Harry snapped the picture. While you werenât looking then showed you. It made for a great photo. âHarry wonât you get up there so I can get a family shot of the four of you.â Anne said admiring the twins. Harry sat on the bed and took Jackson from you. Then Anne took the photo. Again, neither of you looking. âWhat a beautiful family.â Anne continued. âMum would you like to hold your grandson.â Harry said. âI canât believe you would ask such a question, of course the answer is yes.â She said holding her arms out for Jackson and Harry handed him to her. he turned to you and took Evie, you knew what he was doing, you handed her to him. âGemma would you like to hold your niece.â He asked. âObviously I do, since she is gonna be my best friend from now on.â She laughed. You nudged Harry and he took out his phone to get a photo. Then Louis walked in with everyone. âsorry guys, I had to explain to the staff that we are all one big family, they about didnât let us through.â He brought in Niall, Liam and Lottie, Lou, Fiz and the band.â The whole lot of them. You smiled. "Well if they have any further questions tell them they can deal with me.â You said. âThey may think Iâm crazy but I want all of you in here. You are all such a big part of mine and especially Harryâs life that we would be heartbroken if we couldnât share this moment with you all.â You said. Everyone walked inside said congratulations to you and Harry and gave hugs and kisses. They all got to hold the babies and by that time it was really late so everyone decided to go home and rest. Some assuring you that they would be back tomorrow. At the end of the day it was just you and Harry left in the room. Your perfect little family of four. The dr came in one last time. "Congratulations you guys. I told you everything would be okay.â He said with a smile. "Now is there anything I can do for you all before I get ready to go.â He asked. âActually Dr there is one thing you can do, letâs step outside.â Harry said. You just knew he had something up his sleeve. You gave a suspicious look. He was holding Evie and handed her to you. âDonât worry, you surprised me with the greatest gifts in the world today, so I have something for you.â He said as he kissed you on the forehead, then headed out the door. A moment later Harry came back into the room and took Jackson from you. âWhat are you up to babe?â You ask curious, but never took your eyes off of Evie. âYouâll see.â He said with a smile but playing with Jackson. About 30 minuets had passed when the dr had returned with Chinese food and the film that you and Harry were going to watch at home tonight. âDid someone order Chinese takeout and a film.â The dr said as he carried in the food and a movie. This being the most emotion filled day of your life of course you started crying and at the same time you were happy. "I believe the lady did.â Harry said to the dr. Harry walked up and grabbed the stuff from him and set them on the bed. Then walked up to you and kissed you again. Gentle and sweet and you still had the babies in your arms so he gave them kisses as well. He proceeded to grab Jackson from you and said âThis was without a doubt the craziest most emotional and best day of my life.â He said âI am truly the luckiest man in the world right now. I am blessed with two healthy, beautiful children and I have the most amazing woman I could ever ask for by my side.â He continued as you were still letting out tears. You said âThis is why I love you so much, you are always surprising me.â you kiss him again and smile.  The dr still in the room, he says.  âNow you kids have fun now and again congratulations.â As he left the room, and you and Harry were left alone with your Chinese takeout and the film and your twins. FF: 4 Years: "Mommy, I love you so much.â You loved to hear those words from your daughter Evie.  You and her were sitting on the couch watching Saturday cartoons, something you used to do as a kid.  âI love you too sweetie.â as she gave you the biggest hug. âwhen are daddy and bubby coming home?â she asked you.  Harry had woken Jackson up early yesterday because he wanted to take him on a father son bonding camping trip.  They went away just yesterday but Harry said they would would be back today.  Letâs face it, too long in the woods with a 4 year old isnât the best ideal, you thought to yourself laughing. Just then you heard the door open and Jackson ran through the door.  âMommy, I missed you.â he said as he ran into your arms and you spun him around. âoh mommy missed you too baby.â âWhere is daddy?â you asked him curious âRight here babe..â Harry said. âDaddy..â Evie ran up to him. âHey, princess. Where you good for mommy?â he asked her.â âYes, mommy bought me a toy because I was good.â she said proud of herself. âThatâs my girl.â Harry said as he picked her up and kissed her cheek. He put Evie down and then she and Jackson ran up stairs to play âCome on bubby, I want to show you my new toy that mommy got me.â she said excitedly.  Harry walked up to you grabbed you and kissed you like he hadnât seen you in years.  "I missed you love.â He said. âI missed you too.â You said. âI canât wait until tomorrow, and you are mine forever.â He said. âLove, Iâve been yours since the day we met.â You said and smiled. Tomorrow is the day that you and Harry had planned to get married. You had wanted to get married after the twins were born but you were a new mom to two babies and were very stressed even though Harry helped you in every way possible. It was just not the right time for planning a wedding. Now the twins were older and you had time to plan things, you were going to let Evie be the flower girl and Jackson be the ring bearer. You had thought about your maid of honor and other bridesmaids you certainly wanted Gemma to be the MOH and you chose Lottie, and Fiz as the bridesmaids. Another family affair you thought. Harry had obviously picked Louis as his Best Man and Niall and Liam as his groomsman. Everything was almost set, you just had a few last minuet things to do tomorrow. You had the Caterer, the photographer, Lou was going to be your beautician, your dress was perfect and Louis was going to pick up the tuxes tomorrow. The only thing that needed to be done was setting the reception hall, which someone else was going to do so today, you didnât have a worry in the world. It was still early in the day so you and Harry decided to take the kids for brunch. You packed up some food and you all got into the car and you took the kids to the park so they could play too. You wanted to spend the day with Harry and the kids since tomorrow was going to be so hectic. WEDDING DAY! The day was finally here. The day that you and harry planned to say in front of everyone that you loved each other and that you wanted to spend the rest of your lives together.  Today was going to be perfect.  You and Harry spent the night apart last night so that he didnât see you until you walked down the aisle.  harry had stayed with Louis and and the guys at Louisâ flat. he had taken Jackson with him.  You and Evie and all the girls had stayed at the flat that you and Harry shared together.  It was six in the morning and you and all the girls had decided to go to breakfast. IHOP sounded really good and you all agreed to eat there. Very quickly you all ate and headed back to the flat so that Lou could do everyoneâs hair and makeup. While sitting, Gemma says to you, I never thought I would see Harry with some one as perfect for him as you are.â and the tears started from both of you. â from the good and the bad you both have always been there for each other, and I am so happy that today you officially become apart of our family.â she said as she hugged you. âGemma you are truly the best sister and I am forever grateful for the friendship that we share, I promise to continue to take care of your brother for the rest of my life.â "I know you will darling." Lou had finished with you and you stood too like into a full length mirror, you with your hear as beautiful as ever and makeup flawless, and your gorgeous Vera Wang dress with a sweetheart neckline. The time to be at the chapel was at 1:00 and it was now 12:15 and everyone was just about finished getting ready so all you had to do was load everyone up and get them to the chapel. You arrived there at about 12:30 which gave ample time for everyone to get situated and in their places and be ready for the music to start. The song you had chosen to walk down the aisle to was "A Thousand Years" and it couldn't have been more perfect. The clock struck 1 and it was time for the music to start and for you to walk down the aisle and meet Harry. First, it was Gemma with Louis. Then, Lottie with Liam and Fiz with Niall. It was finally your turn, as you stood at the end of the runway you couldn't help but lock eyes with Harry. You stood in front of him and the minister began. "Harry Edward Styles, Do you take this woman to be your lawfully wedded wife, to have and to hold, to love and to cherish, in sickness and health, for richer for poorer, for as long as you both shall live." You looked at Harry and he looked at you and said "I Do." "Do you (YFN) take this man to have and to hold, to love and to cherish, in sickness and in health, for richer for poorer, for as long as you both shall live." "I Do." You say. " Harry, You may now kiss your bride" He lifted you vail up and gave you a sweet kiss." By the power vested in me I now pronounce you husband and wife." "The minister said. "Ladies and gentleman it is my honor to present to you for the first time ever Mr. and Mrs. Harry Edward Styles." Everyone gave a standing ovation, as you walked out of the front doors of the church where Harry had a limousine waiting for you. "Harry, how did you plan this with out me knowing." You said in shock." "You know I would do anything for you". He says and kisses you agin, and leads you down the steps to the limo. You couldn't wait to live Happily Ever After with your Prince Charming.
