had an idea of them having a conversation discussing on their...seemingly impossible future

"something on your mind, your majesty?"

She feels the way his hand curls along her side more, offering a light squeeze as she glanced up at him.

"I know what we have...and want is but a fleeting dream but..." "Some day I do wish I am but a commoner, or a knight, just to have you"

"...you still have me, your majesty"

"not this way, no..."

They sigh quietly, as the king's hand wandered over to hold her gloved hands

"it's possible, you know" "....people are replaceable, they could find prosperity under someone else other than me"

"your majesty..."

"I don't want you to love me from a distance" "I want you to be by my side for the rest of my life and yours..."

"If I let you go...I may never find anyone who holds me in such high regards and care....as you do"

"In the face of everyone's opposition...your loyalty, your devotion...are a boon"

"...but who will lead if you are not there, your majesty?" she brushed his palm, tracing the small faint scars along his knuckles as she sighs

"this is...not as simple as putting away your crown away and...disappear"

"I know" He replies quietly, glancing at their crown and mask on the floor beside them, their responsibilities laid away for a moment.

"....would you stay by my side always, Eira?" He knows it's foolish to ask such a question, given she has always been a pragmatic and fiercefully protective royal guard, more than anyone else in the unit, doing what's necessary to protect the kingdom and by extension - him.

At any cost, even if it's her own life.

"I promise, your majesty"

but it feels nice to be reminded sometimes.

"promise me more..."

"I promise to stay by your side, even when the world is out to get you"

"I promise to be your sword and shield, that your safety will always be granted when you are with me"

"I promise to be there with you, if you ever need me, at any moment"

you are his weakness. his queen. no one knows what happens behind the castle's door. no one knows how he gets on his knees, kissing up your ankle to your thigh as he slowly lifts your night gown. no one knows how he is pleading you to let him have a taste of you. kissing it and licking it. nobody knows how their ruthless king has your thighs choking him as he eats you. the same voice that sends shivers down everyone's spine is now begging you to make a mess on his face. if someone were to glance at your window, they'd see his pale face glistening in your juices in the candlelights, blood rushed to his nose and cheeks like he has taken an aphrodisiac. your hands tugging his white strands. you take your hand back before you pull too hard and hurt him but he yanks your wrist forward, placing them back on his head. he looks up at you, parting his face from your core.

Danny is forced to hold a ball to look for a partner a la Cinderella Style on Pariah Dark’s (now technically his) castle, which will apparently last a week. Clockwork has sworn up and down that he will meet the love of his life there, but Danny doubts it, until he bumps into a hot revenant…

Jason was not expecting a lady who claims to be spirit of Gotham to show up at his apartment and force him into attending a ball. She said he will be allowed to go home in a week, after the ball ends.

At least the clothes are pretty cool, and he can live out his Pride and Prejudice dreams. He also met this really cute guy who has been wearing stunning dresses and seems to be the only other person who was interested in leaving. He hoped Danny wouldn’t mind seeing him again after they get out of here.

Meanwhile, the Batfam is panicking. Jason disappeared after patrol and no one has heard from him. Everyone is convinced he was kidnapped, and has different theories on who/why/how.

Gotham and Clockwork are very pleased with their planning.
