ahhh my shift was WRETCHED, so i came home and crashed, but okay so;

the dilf came in like times before, its like a diner type situation, so people come alone a lot, and he actually got sat in my section this time, and he was like lowks flirting with me the entire time, im talkin some:

so the entire time, flirting again 😼 im like actually ab to suck his dick the entire time hes there, cause holey fuckin moley, but he asks what time im off, and im like “oh like 7:45 tonight, hopefully, not any later” it was a semi busy day, and my managers must hate me, cause they always keep me WAY longer then im scheduled, so then hes like “well, i was wondering if i could take you to go eat after your off” and i STUMBLED SO BAD GUYS, i COULDNT SPEAK, i was BEING A FOOL. but i said yes! and so i ended up staying later than my shift, he came at 7:45 and i felt bad for making him wait, cause he sat on the little bench thats where the hostess stand is waiting for me, and ugh lemme tell ya. im a suxker for a man in boots. he had on a TIGHT ass black shirt, JEANS, AND BOOTS, i was salivating.

and then like i get off, i applogize for making him wait. and CHAT HE CALLED ME BABY, “its okay baby, i know you gotta work, it did get busy when i showed up” i was in complete distress, panties were wet, mouth was drooling, eyes saying fuck me at this man basically, anywho, so we go to this 24hr taco joint thats not too far from where i work, we go in his car, and he drives the NICEST chevelle 67 supersport. Khushi pretends she hates his bangles as a way to get her revenge since he doesn't want to admit he bought them. Arnav couldn't wait 2 freaking seconds before following her in pool side hahaha he's so childish !! (thanks Anjali for that delighful countdown and thanks for creating the occasion for them to meet again !!)

" -If you don't like these bangles at all then why didn't you throw them away? -So much love for someone else's bangles?!" [I love that line haha ! Khushi is so funny lmao!]

Arnav lets her use the excuse of the bet reward to admit that indeed he was the one who gave it to her !!! "Yes, I did buy these bangles for you!"

Khushi isn't suprised by him buying her bangles (she already fainted for that reason lol), she is shocked to see him admitting this gesture of affection. And he's very pleased by her reaction. 😏

" -If you hate these bangles so much then remove them. -And if I like them ?! -Then why did you say first that … -Because I wanted you to confess that you bought them for me !

Since Arnav confessed, Khushi doesn't care to hide her reason for wearing the bangles he bought for her, she's so cute, she just wants to give back what he just did. Uuugh he told her about his feelings (through that gift), so she will of course run to tell him as she feels too (though insinuation tho loool) !!

-I have confessed! -It's good that you did it! -Fine then, keep wearing it ! -Maybe you're not seeing it properly, but I'm already wearing them!"

Khushi is telling him through insinuations how gladly she'll accept his love if he confesses it, after saying that, she is stuned by what she herself said lol. And I think Arnav did understand the insinuation !

She wasn't talking only about the bangles, but about their love.

Even when they say affectionate words to each other, they have to mask them by pretending to argue to deal with the embarrassment and the tension !! Haha sooo cuuuuute !! Why are they soo shy !! 🙈

"Why? Why did you buy these bangles for me" Khushi asked a second time and her tone is so sweet. "Arnav-ji, please tell me now, I can't take it any longer, let me love you." Arnav was definitely about to imply something but he stopped. But it's not a matter of not willing anymore.

It hasn't been about that for a little while now. It's about feeling ready. He's not yet fully ready.

Do you have any advice on responding on commenters on fics. I want to interact with commenters but I don’t know what to say and I feel awkward doing it.

Ooooh alright, I feel you LOL. Bad news is that it does still feel kind of awkward to me, because I'm BAD at taking compliments and I never feel like the way I answer can properly convey how excited I am that this person liked what I wrote... but, to be fair, I don't think ANY answer could really capture that excitement LOL.

Still, I do answer comments as a general rule, so hopefully I can be of some help anyway! And of course, if anyone else has any suggestions feel free to drop them in the replies or in a reblog.

So.

There is no real “rule” for answering comments, I think it’s important to remember that it doesn’t need to be a formal interaction, you are just two people with a shared love for some characters/ships (A LOT of love, I’m assuming, considering that one of you is writing fics and the other is taking the time to interact with said fics), so try to treat it like a casual conversation, not a performance!

Also very important to remember, what you are doing when you are answering a comment is, at its core, giving validation to the reader. You are letting them know that you appreciate their comment and that you wanted to take the time to say thank you, which readers, in my experience, DO appreciate very much. So like, even just saying “Thank you very much!” or “Thank you, I’m happy you enjoyed it!” is a good answer that is nice to receive. This kind of answer is a good baseline for answering comments imo, if you can’t think of anything else to say just leave it at that! Just like a short comment is very much appreciated and way better than no comment, a short answer is very much appreciated and way better than no answer.

And if you fear that you are being too repetitive in your answers, remember that you are the one writing ten answers in a row, the reader is only getting one thank you!

Still, if you want to come up with more elaborate answers, I’d say try to “mirror” what the comment said.

Meaning that, for example, if someone points out a line they liked, you can thank them for the compliment on that, or say that you are happy they liked that, or, if you can, add some commentary on it (which in my case would be about the thought process behind the line, or about what’s going with the characterization, or something along the lines of “LOOOL yes, they are idiots”).

Or, if someone points out something else that they specifically liked, for example a scene, or bits of characterization, you can discuss those, for example by sharing what you think was going on in the non-POV character’s head during that scene, or discussing how else that scene could have played out by changing certain details, or discuss headcanons that you have related to the fic, maybe what would happen after or what was happening during a time jump, etc (readers, as a general rule, do love to hear about this kind of stuff!).

And, again, it doesn’t have to be formal! Since I have the charming bad habit of writing a lot of pain, sometimes people leave me crying emojis and/or screams as a reaction (which, btw, is DELIGHTFUL LOOOL) and my answer tends to be something along the lines of “SORRY, MY BAD *collects your tears in a jar*”, so like. there LOL.

Also, I had never thought about this before, but you can add pictures/memes/gifs to your reply if those help you express your feelings, that could be fun! (Maybe I should try too loool)

It’s also nice, imo, when a reader leaves a row of comments, to let them know in one of your answers how much you appreciated that! Let them know if you grinned for an hour, if you kept checking for notifications and were delighted when you saw them leaving more and more comments, if you were having a bad week and that was an excellent pick-me-up, etc. (letting them know how they made you feel could be a good idea in general, even if you are answering just the one comment).

That is pretty much all that I can think of at the moment, hopefully there’s something useful in here loool Mostly I think it’s just a matter of trying to let yourself have fun with it, it’s not serious, it’s not a performance, you are fine! <3 (Said the extremely anxious bean, very hypocritically. I swear I’m getting better at letting myself go LOL)

Hi you!!! Hope you’re doing well too :]

Hopes and predictions huh? Hmmm…

Haven’t put too much thought into the realm of actual predictions for this one, truthfully! I’m *hoping* it’ll be a pretty Linc-centric episode (well, Linc and Grant!), which feels reasonable enough to expect?

Very excited for whatever Matt is gonna bring to the table more generally, really. Aside from Lincoln just being the bestest fucking boy, I think Matt more than all the other players (granted Beth excels here as well) just does a phenomenal job at remembering the core themes of the show (“Family!!!” I scream from the rooftops, “This is a show about family!”) and accordingly pays a lot of attention not just to the arc of his own character but to that of Grant as well (and of course all the intricate ways in which the two are intertwined)- a fact that I think is obvious just by looking at how many of Matt’s dad and teen facts revolve around Grant actually! But that’s another post lol. But yeah, even in last week’s teen talk he stated:

“I’m sure Scary won’t be happy with Grant but like, I think, the thing I’m more concerned [with] is obviously Grant- is gonna be how Grant feels about himself. Him screaming “no” after he did it is like, that’s rough”

Which is just- ugh it’s everything to me. That to say, I’m really pumped for what’s to come on that front, since I have a lot of faith in Matt to steer things in a direction that is narratively satisfying for both Lincoln and Grant. Also, it’s such a small thing relative to all that’s going on but, I really do hope that Anthony remembers that Grant hasn’t heard Lincoln’s new voice yet lol, I don’t want that to go unaddressed! Ugh I almost wanna go and relisten to “The Staircase” just thinking about all of this- I’ve been waiting for Grant and Linc to confront each other for *SO LONGGG* hahaha. As a final note on Grant, cause if not I could go on forever, in the teen talk Anthony stated:

“(…) I’ve already had some thoughts as to what he [Willy] wrote onto Grant’s collar”

Which seems to imply that the kiddads don’t all have the same thing written on their collars, which is very interesting! Makes me wonder about Lark and Sparrow as well (<- this got me thinking: “what if Lark and Sparrow’s collars had things written on them that forced them to be apart from each other” or something to that effect OUGH that’d be so rad anyways anyways total tangent loool).

*Otherwise*, FUCK ANTHONY BETTER REMEMBER NICKY. Lmaooo he better parachute in at some point in this episode or else!!! I’d love to see him have to confront Terry’s death, I’d LOOOVE to see him confront/interact with Grant, and I really hope that his reactions to either of those things isn’t just “fuck this shit I’m out” and then he poofs away as he is one to do. Especially now that Anthony decided for convenience’ sake that Nicky can’t make portals anymore- at least keep that consistent lmao. If he *did* try to just dip though, my hope would be that Taylor steps in and actually confronts his dad about that trend of his. Because really, ever since Waterdeep when you think about it we’ve seen that Nick has this bad habit of running away from his problems rather than confronting them (granted his behavior is I think pretty understandable in a good chunk of those cases) and so… Well I guess now that Taylor has become more attached to his dad I would like to see him actually call Nicky out on those behaviors and how it affects him as his son and let his dad know that, well, he doesn’t want Nick to walk out of his life again, y’know?

Hopefully that makes some sense haha, didn’t mean for this ramble to be so long! But yeah, I guess those are the main things running through my head atm (I’ve also been thinking about Scary and Terry and how all that shit is gonna play out ofc, but nothing concrete to say on the matter as it stands).

First of all, don't thank for making Shinso soft, thank Shinso himself for being soft, because that's a straight up fact.

Second of all, it honestly... lol, it honestly makes me sooo bitter to think about, because I feel like characterizing Shinso as this mean, hard dom is so... fucking far from his character that it doesn't even make sense.

I think it's mostly a combo of people associating him with Aizawa (who gives a much bigger basis for us to think he's a hard dom/"mean") and also... projection due to his personality (this is a stupid, bad example but like... emo people see him being kinda edgelord-y and they're like HE'S JUST LIKE ME FR!!! which is dumb, if you ask me)...

Before you could stand up to throw the napkins away, Gawain put his mug down (spilling just a tad more over the rim) and took your hands into his, napkins and all.

hi!!!

yeah so we were technically on what started as a break and then moved to a breakup after the third week and i was like "yeah i can't do this break bs anymore"

he initiated the breakup and it was really hard for me, like...really hard. like i was destroyed and he wasn't mean or cold, and told me that i could text him whenever i wanted because we had been together for 4 years at this point and it's hard to just like...clean break when it's not like anyone did anything wrong? we just had a lot of pent up resentment bc we never communicated with one another and i had tried to end things when i was in london but couldnt and so it was...a rough time when i came home but ANYWAY

we would talk like once a day and barely. and it wasn't until i stopped like, pining and sitting at home that we actually started to talk again. i went into the city for a few days and spent time with my friends and went mia for like three days. then i got the 'i miss u' text and then he asked to hangout.

but when we hung out, i had a no kissing and no sex policy because i wanted to make sure i wasn't being used and he never gave me an issue about that. we would hangout for like 3 hours, parking at the beach or just driving around and talk and argue and, on occasion, scream at one another just kind of getting everything out.

he kissed me again like three weeks later and it was so strange like, it felt like a first kiss.

but i think having those boundaries of like if we're going to hangout, that's all it's going to be, do not kiss me or touch me or hug me or anything was so necessary. it let us work through our anger and everything without the mess.

but like, we didn't immediately get back together and it wasnt all rainbows and butterflies immediately. there were a few false starts and i told him i loved him one night bc i was stupid and drunk and he didn't say it back...and i cried in the bathroom for like 45 mins and he went to sleep :) and then it wasn't until we had like a SERIOUS conversation after that (what we were both looking for, what we wanted, WHY we both thought this was something to try again, etc) that things started to get better

if u have any like, specific questions, don't be afraid to ask! this is just kind of the overview of what happened/how it went

and it was kind of up to him to want to talk again bc he was the one who did the breaking up...he knew i would be there (which was a mistake on my end). it wasn't until i was like, no im not waiting for u this is embarrassing that he realized that losing me was like an actual possibility?
