sure thing! it’s gonna be my first time writing for espío, so just be patient… matter of fact this is my first time writing for sonic/co in general 😌 kinda made general headcanons for this.

espio the chameleon x gn!reader — general headcanons!

espio is very closed off— not mean closed off, he just doesn’t really like getting close to people. you can say espio is an introvert, and while working with the others of the chaotix is enough to highlight his day, he prefers the quiet times, ones filled with peace where he can just sit and be.

as a newbie that gets into the chaotix, espio intrigued you from the start and you made a goal to try and befriend him. though, espio may see this and go, hmm…. this is odd.

cautious yet curious, he doesn’t seem you at all threat yet, but he likes to keep all newbies close as to keep an eye on them. this also goes for you. he doesn’t like traitors and doesn’t do well with betrayal or being lied to, as honesty is a principle he follows religiously.

it takes him the longest to figure you out and if you were to try and step out of line he would be quick to correct you.

one day you approach him and give him flowers, and ask him to be your friend. you think he’s so cool and, it would be so cool of you to befriend this dude. he’s just so happenin. and he just sits there with warmed cheeks and accepts your gift of friendship. either this, or he’ll let you off slowly and ask you to allow him to think. you might think he’s being too serious, but he’s simply very much work oriented and would most likely prefer to keep things professional between the two of you as to not cause disruption.

as your “friendship” grows however you get to see more of his self absorbency show through missions— how he’s prideful and how he obtains pleasure through the thrill of the heat of a situation, all the while still being crucially agile and level headed. this only made your admiration grow, making you think, where can I get confidence like that?

the same would go for espio seeing you in combat alongside him and vector. you would often learn from him and that would set him up a little, seeing as though you were taking his influence. sometimes however this isn’t exactly a good thing because he himself knows he can be rather impulsive, but it’s usually out of his strong sense of duty and passion for justice keeping, and that same passion he likes to see in you.

when he felt as though he was ready to cement your friendship, one morning you would wake up, get ready and be ready to head out the door only to find some flowers laying on the ground, with a little note.

“sincerely, espio.”

you would take the flowers in your hands and hug them, feeling accepted by the chameleon at long last.

friendship with espio is very calm and reserved— a very relaxed and smooth pace kinda journey but still worth it. espio likes to watch movies with you during your time off and he also likes to take walks. you both go out to different parks sometimes just to roam around, maybe get something to drink or a bite to eat and just talk to each other. the little things mean a lot to espio and he’s not hard to please.

he’s not a touchy feely kinda guy though, so he gets stuff if you try to hug him, touch him, attempt to cuddle him, etc. not that he doesn’t like it it’s just that he doesn’t exactly know how to respond, but he accepts it anyway.

overall, pretty good boy in terms of friendship and commitment. if you were in trouble, he’d come in a heart beat. he would expect you to do the same despite his ego flare. he’s too proud to admit he needs help.

he’d be the type of person to ask you for help in a text, then unsend it, then send it again, then unsend it, then send it again. poor guy.

i imagine that espio can cook decent food, that being used a bit loosely since he prefers to cook when vector and charmy are gone. this leaves him with no interruptions. asian cuisine is his specialty and if you have any recipes for him and or if you wanna cook dinner with him for the team, be his guest. he doesn’t mind, just as long as you help clean.

other than that he just orders takeout because vector bombards him.

I don’t know if this account is going to be very active at all, but I made it just in case TikTok does get taken down. My name is Jack. I am 23 years old. I’m a huge Walten Files weeb and I like drawing shit for it all the time, and I mean all the time. I just made this account like yesterday, so all my art is still currently on my main account on TikTok with the same username. Jack Walten is my top kin and I use him as a persona, Sophie Walten is the character I relate to the most, and Felix is my favorite comfort character. I draw him like everyday. I’m the creator of two Walten Files AUs, Sophie’s New Camera and Felix Goes to Rehab. These AUs can be shortened to SNC and Rehab AU.

What This Blog is About

This place is just going to be a personal art account where I draw stuff for my current special interest, The Walten Files. I like talking about lore, my AUs and headcanons with other people. I do this with other fandoms too, but I mostly talk about Walten Files stuff. I use these accounts as a diary and sketchbook, so don’t expect this place to be all organized or neat looking all the time. I have oddly specific boundaries due to things that has happened to me before online that were really traumatic, so please read these and keep that in mind. My boundaries here will be relatively the same as my main account.

I don’t like it when people give me too much praise. I also don’t like being idolized. I have been abused in the past by a content creator who I looked up to, and when people treat me like that, it reminds me of the power he had over me, and I freak out because I don’t want to have that over someone else. Certain phrases are triggers for me. Examples being like: “You inspire me”, “I love you”, “I look up to you”, etc. Deep and meaningful comments like that make me anxious, especially when it’s being said by someone I don’t know. I feel the safest when I am treated and viewed as a stranger, because that’s all I really am. I am nobody special.

I’m also uncomfortable with making new friends here. I’m really introverted and I have a severe anxiety disorder. The only mutuals I have are people I am already friends with for like years. I also don’t dm anyone besides my friends. You guys can talk to me in the comments though. That’s fine. I’m not really in a healthy headspace to make new friends at all.

Please do not screenshot, save or share my work anywhere. I already feel weird about posting my art, so having someone else repost or archive my work makes me uncomfortable. I also don’t want anyone to use my art in other edits, posts, etc. I appreciate it, but I don’t like it.

I don’t care if you simp for Jack or Felix because I like them too, but please don’t be super excessive or sexual about it, especially on my art posts. I don’t want to cross Martin Wall’s boundaries, and I just don’t like sexual comments being made towards my art that’s not meant to be looked at that way. Romantic and cute comments are fine, just don’t be creepy, especially if you are a minor.

I don’t mind if people are inspired by my work, but please don’t tell me that you are, and don’t credit me for it. Most of the stuff I make is unoriginal trend stuff anyway, and I don’t like gatekeeping in a small community cause that would be lame. I just don’t like being tagged or mentioned in the posts. I get nervous about it. I don’t like shout outs either. I like being a relatively small account.

I don’t want anyone making me gift or fan art. I super appreciate it and I love that people want to take the time to draw stuff for my Walten Files AU, but since I’m still traumatized from being abused, I still feel uncomfortable. Also being stalked and having fetish art drawn of me really affected how I feel about it too. It’s nobody’s fault at all. I’m not gonna shame you for asking either. This is mostly a me problem that I still have to deal with in therapy. I’m not trying to be ungrateful cause I really do appreciate the thought behind it.

I am not okay with any proshipping or romanticization of abuse what so ever. I know I make dark art especially when it comes to my Walten Files stuff, but that does not warrant anyone being weird in my comments. Anyone who fetishizes abuse, murder, pedophilia or anything like that will be blocked. It’s gross and I hate that shit. Anyone who is a proshipper, Alfred Playhouse fan, etc. will also be blocked.

Hi, a whole one fan of R&T here and.... yeah even I have to admit that most people's enjoyment of characters like these (mine included) stems mostly from the "I just think they look neat" factor. Granted I will say that I actually like the (very small) bro moments between the two because they remind me of how the comic sent that aspect of Sonic and Tails' relationship down the drain.

Anyway I brought this up because I can confidently say something that only gets worse with every issue: the stans don't actually like the OCs the way they claim they do. They like the aesthetic, the ideas around the characters, the vibes. The comic simply gives you a minimally cared for but still very much empty field with just enough promise of something of value growing there eventually, that you just end up growing a whole plantation of your own with just your headcannons. And that's the thing. The vibes, the ideas, the headcannons. Those are a constant. The moment they get imprinted onto a character, they are always there. That's why the new issue screenshots can only procur a reaction like "omg them". Because the character in the comic as is doesn't matter in the long run. In their minds, said characters already went through a fanfic's worth of screentime with all the study attached, they are already "complete" basically. Appearances in the comic are just visual stimuli to clap, point fingers and go wooooooo and any changes in the actual plot will only incur cosmetic changes on the character's image. At most, that's just an additional tag to the vibes list.

But yeah, what you said. And look, listen. After I got into the CV fandom, I saw so many people adopt the most minor of characters and turn them into their beloved blorbo - characters that are lucky if they have any sort of personality detailed in the manual, let alone on screen. So I get it, I get the appeal of taking a character that is nothing more than unexpressed potential and unraveling it, because hey that concept really really appeals to you. Look, I am intrigued by Surge and Kit's concept as well, and Whisper started out well as a quiet, introverted girl in a mostly extroverted cast, so yes I understand.

It's the pretentiousness I can't stand. It's people celebrating IDW as being well written and so much better than the games, when their appreciation boils down to basically gushing about ship teases or funny faces, or memefying their personalities to make them fit better into the prepackaged blorbo molds. The story wants to take itself seriously, so I take it seriously, and it's so obvious that characters are bent down in function of the plot.

Plant all the headcanons you want! But always keep in mind what is your headcanon and what is actually on paper.

I love silver as the son of shadamy (he reminds me of trunks) let's be honest, if silver was 20 years old and not 200, we would all know that he is the son of shadamy, silver is a sweetheart like amy, they make you want to take care of them

Yeah. It’s been straight-up stated by the developers that he’s modeled after Trunks.

To be honest, though, I’m glad we have the 200-year gap. I think it’d be harder to make the case for him being an immediate descendant of the two of them. Silver just doesn’t have any of Amy’s physical attributes. Shadow lines up, but Silver doesn’t have Amy’s pink fur, green eyes, etc. I did make a case for them potentially having the same “hairline” because of how their quills fall in this headcanon, but that alone is a stretch. Rouge has literally nothing in common with Silver imo, but people would probably push her as being Silver’s mother far more often if he were Shadow’s direct son just based on her fur color alone.

With a few generations of breathing room, though? It’s much easier to make an argument for Shadamy. Things like Silver’s fur and eye color are much easier to explain if genes from other sources were added along the way. It’s believable that Amy’s visible traits would disappear; she’s the only character I know of with pink fur, so I’m willing to bet it’s a recessive trait. It also makes more sense that he wouldn’t immediately know Shadow and Amy are his ancestors if they’re farther up the line. And if there’s one thing I’ve learned from focusing so much on two characters who barely interact, it’s that there’s actually more to work with when there’s an absence of information. A story like Shellshock is far more convincing when we know nothing about Silver and Amy’s parentage. There’s a ton of wiggle room to work with.

In terms of personality, I think you’re exactly right. It’s especially fun because despite their cute, sweet demeanors, they’re always the first to charge into battle. They can’t help it. He has her strong sense of justice AND steadfast idealism. It’s easy to imagine Shadow stepping in to protect Amy when she gets out of her depth, and it’s just as easy to picture Blaze doing the same for Silver.

The more I think about it, the more I see parallels between Shadamy and Silvaze. Of course Amy’s great-great-grandson would go for a serious, intense introvert with a soft spot. It runs in the family, lol.

Before anyone gets too excited, Shadow has only done this ONCE in canon as far as I know, and it was in Sonic Riders, no less. Silver was created early in Sonic 06’s development, which began in 2005. Riders came out after that point in early 2006, meaning they likely gave Shadow psychokinesis after it was already established as Silver’s signature move.

Lol, no. Definitely not. I’ll shamelessly cherry-pick all day in the name of shadamy, but even I can’t really justify doing anything with this. It’s too blatantly obvious yet specific to make a headcanon about it. I just like to imagine one Dadow-believer made this one singular animation just to be a troll. Just thought I’d share, lol.

Didar’s are a WIP as of right now but I have Simone’s headcanons ready

A HC list but it’s just Simone

- Her lips get chapped sometimes and she has a habit of peeling the dead skin (gross) so she has to have chapstick wherever she goes

- She has really sensitive hearing so she always has headphones wherever she goes to drown out noise if it gets overwhelming

- Her favorite character from Encanto is Dolores

- Her sexuality isn’t exactly defined but she has an interest in girls

- She has a pet hedgehog named Rowen, based off Professor Rowen from Pokémon Diamond and Pearl

- Went camping for the first time with Didar and had a blast with him and the Mystery Mountain Club, apart from staying up late looking for the sugarsquash (as much as she would like to catch it’s existence she doesn’t like staying up late)

- She likes fire. Not in a pyromania way but like during campfires (she’s the one person who lets her marshmallows catch on fire on purpose) or lighting candles at home

- Was a tech theatre kid and a band kid (she played the saxophone), a dangerous combination

- Her parents were rather supportive of her interests and trusted that she would be able to pay her own tuition when she said that she wanted to

- She’s pretty introverted and reserved but likes using sarcastic and overly-confident humor sometimes

Gender: Female

General Appearance: Merlina gets to be one of the few in the human harem who has a full hedgehog child. Is it because Merlina's magical? I dunno. Anyways, I imagine she mostly blue quills with magenta tips and the odd magenta-colored streaks through her quills. She also gets Sonic's green eyes. Additionally, her max height is up to Merlina's shoulders, meaning she's taller than Sonic.

Personality: Introverted, selectively mute, and obsessive, she takes on the worst traits of both Sonic and Merlina, but manages to balance them out with a kindhearted nature and a willingness to open up to those she cares for, even if it takes time.

Special Talents: Merlina's affinity for magic, and Sonic's whole thing of being chosen by the Chaos Emeralds, means that she holds a very special connection to Chaos Energy that very few have. She can sense it as well as mold it, using Chaos Energy for her magic to create even more potent spells.

Who They Like Better: She loves her mom. But Sonic helps her break out of her shell and meet new people, and she appreciates that greatly.

Who They Take After More: Merlina. And, sometimes, it's for the worst.

They look mean and scary but once you get to know them they are a literal sweet heart. Hey, my day has been great, thanks for asking! I love this idea! I can't communicate my emotions well either so I can totally relate-

Don't mind the lazy Tails banner, I had to speedrun making it due to school- its not here to stay 💀

Sonic is very open minded and wouldn't feel intimidated or threatened unless you're openly trying to attack or insult him. That being said, he would absolutely be nervous when he first meets you and wonders if he's somehow pissed off someone he's never met before with the way you're looking at him

However, after trying to talk to you to see what's up, he would soon realize you're just an oddball- in a good way! How you two met is something Sonic laughs about a lot

Sonic's an oddball himself, and he would probably be intrigued by you- after that weird first meeting he would stop by to say hi whenever he's in town!

If you stumble over words or have a hard time getting what you want to say out, he would be very patient when trying to talk with you.

Sonic will make sure he understands you clearly. Emotions can be hard for people, and Sonic wants to make sure to ask questions if he feels he got something wrong. Despite being impatient, Sonic cares about his friends a lot and will slow down for them if he needs to!

His mouth works faster than his brain, and he will end up joking about your appearance a lot. However, If you're uncomfortable with that, he would instantly stop and apologize! In this house, we have respectful hedgehogs only.

Sonic is a very social extrovert and would try and help you with learning some social skills. You might be better off asking someone else for help though, learning social skills from a cocky blue hedgehog doesn't sound very productive...

Sonic would teach you how to be confident with yourself. So what if someone doesn't like how you look? That's their problem, not yours!

An extra perk of going into public with Sonic is a lot more people are willing to approach you. Sonic is famous for saving the world multiple times after all, so if someone is traveling with him that must mean they aren't so bad! He helps your reputation a lot, and that helps you make more friends and be more social!

He would go out of his way to defend you from rude comments and comfort you if the comments get to you. Anyone who insults his friends is in for a barrage of insults and challenges from Sonic!

Overall, I feel like he would be just an amazing friend no matter what you look like. He'll never comment on your appearance in a negative or non-joking way, even if he's upset. You're still better off asking someone else for help with expressing yourself better though!

Tails wouldn't be intimidated at all! He completely understands being bullied for physical appearance. He would love to talk to you and make a friend in a similar situation he was in before. He just has to pick up the courage to talk first!

With a lot of help from Tail's friends, he would eventually come up and try and talk to you- however, the first conversation was really awkward, and neither of you really knew what to say!

After a while of trying- congrats, you got yourself a little misfit friend, just like yourself. An intimidating person/animal walking around with a fluffy friendly fox is a rather odd sight.

Tails would have a hard time trying to decipher your emotions, tones, and what you actually mean- be patient with him, he's going to misunderstand a lot!

He's a bit of an introvert himself mostly due to nervousness, you two probably wouldn't hang out in public a lot. Tails prefers sharing interests and hobbies at home though, so that's fine with him!

He would be pretty helpful with teaching social skills, and would even offer to practice along with you! He needs to learn as well anyway, so may as well do it with a friend.

Tails would teach you how to be comfortable with yourself if you're insecure about your physical appearance. He found the courage to be comfortable with his, helping someone else with that problem is no big deal to him!

He would do everything he can to comfort you if insults get to you. He's not great at saying the right things or trying to help, but he is trying and that's what counts! Sometimes, hugging a fluffy fox is all you need.

Tails would defend you from insults as well, though he would do so in a more civilized manner than Sonic or Knuckles. He wouldn't insult or try to fight the person, just say that whatever insults they throw at you aren't true, and they should learn to respect people more and not judge based on appearance.

Overall, very helpful and sweet- you two fit together so well it's hard to imagine yourself not being friends!

I'm sorry, this knucklehead would think you're trying to start a fight with the way you're looking at him. This echidna isn't trusting unless you're manipulating him, or you prove you're trustworthy.

He would try to approach you and ask if you want to fight in an aggressive way- probably leaving you panicking and desperately trying to get out of this situation-

However, once he realizes you, in fact, just look scary and do NOT want to fight, he would calm down and try to understand the situation better

Knuckles would apologize and be rather embarrassed by his actions, and wouldn't leave you alone until you took his apology- he's a very honorable echidna, and would probably take you to get ice cream as an apology. He heard from Sonic that everyone likes ice cream! (Sorry if you have a sensitive mouth like me, you're not getting out of it!)

After that really rocky start, he would try to know you better, Knuckles also looks rather intimidating and is honestly relieved to find someone else in the same situation as him

More on "in the same situation"- no social skills buddies! This isolated echidna has trouble expressing his emotions well too and would be 0 help with social skills.

Look out here come the two intimidating buddies-

On the plus side, now you're not the only one embarrassing yourself in public, you have a friend to share your misery with!

Knuckles would take a *lot* of things you say the wrong way with your lack of emotion, and it's more of a hassle to clear up anything with Knuckles than you might think- don't hate him for it though, he's just trying to be helpful and showing that he cares for his friend!

He's the kind of "I take 0 bullshit" guy. Any insults result in a fight you have to break up, and Knuckles would eat his own arm if he ever insulted your physical appearance.

Knuckles is not very good with comforting either, he has a lot of bottled-up emotions himself. Not much help physically or verbally, but he'll still be there for you!

Overall, a very endearing friend, but a friend in the same boat. Intimidating on the outside- a great friend on the inside!

Headcanons on Movie!Verse AU where it's Blaze The Cat who takes refuge on Earth instead of Sonic.

Hi! I am so sorry friend—this ask is positively ancient and I just completely missed it in my inbox. I think this is a really fun idea! Things would be way different... one, Blaze wouldn't be able to travel nearly as far or as fast, so her understanding of the world she was in would probably be a lot more limited. I wonder with her introvert personality if she would struggle with loneliness to the same extent Sonic did (obviously she would struggle some since everyone needs human connection on some level). Would Eggman still want her fire powers in the same way he wanted Sonic's power? How would that change their battles? Frankly, Blaze and Tom probably wouldn't even end up on a road trip together because Blaze is just so different from Sonic—she probably wouldn't have broken into Tom's shack because she probably wouldn't have caused the power outage like Sonic did simply due to their powers' different natures. But even if she did, she feels so much more practical than Sonic; I feel that she would take off to the mushroom planet much sooner than he would.

I AM SO EXCITED TO BE ASKED THANK YOU SO MUCH! (I love these silly opinion questions 🖤💖)

@thespectral-wolf asked me about Shadow too! I hope you guys don't mind if I write this to both of you!

1: Sexuality Headcanon.

I've always thought Shadow to be Demi/Pan. It takes a lot to get through his defenses anyway, so actually loving someone romantically would take... a lot over a long time. Furthermore, in the grand spectrum of relationship types, romance just isn't high on then list, so the target for hitting that 'love interest' mark is made smaller still.

I cannot see Shadow caring for a particular preference for gender or gender presentation. Pretty sure most of that is nonsense to him anyway. Insert, 'what is a pronoun' meme here.

2: OTP

XD nah but for real though: I adore ShadowxAmy. I know it's the good girl bad boy trope on the surface but it's also more than that. It's the parallels and mirroring of one another. The extrovert and the introvert. The outwardly affectionate and the inwardly affectionate. The one who appears fine but things are crumbling inside and the one who seems so stoic and standoffish but inside there is finally flowers blooming through the cracks in a paved-over soul. They're both stubborn, strong willed and strong armed, they both love fiercely and terribly, they are both prone to passionate outbursts, they both care so much sometimes it's amazing they don't break from the agony of caring. These things-I love these things about them. They are so similar and yet so different, it fascinates me.

However, and this may surprise some people, I really like just about any ship if it's well crafted. Like, obviously there are limitations, but if it's a compelling read, or the comic is super cool, I'll probably like it. Off the top of my head, some really interesting stuff I've seen has been for ShadowxKnuckles, ShadowxTikal, ShadowxRouge, and obviously, ShadowxSonic.

3: BROTP

I love the dynamic between Shadow and Sonic when it's done well. I also love the brotherly rivalry between Knuckles and Shadow that just goes a biiiiit too far sometimes XD Shadow being an almost older cousin figure for Tails, Cream, and Charmy also gives me life. Baby brother Shadow dynamic with Rouge feeds my soul. The brotherly bond between Shadow and Omega is perfect. Ah... so many XD Let the man have friends, please.

4: NOTP

I do not like anything where Shadow is paired up with a significantly younger character that he knew as a child (Cream seems to be the character most often drug into this and I have no idea as to why.. *shudder*). Anything else, so long as it doesn't weird me out for other reasons... *shrug*.

5: First Headcanon that Comes to Mind

From the Twitter Takeovers, we know Shadow shops local and shops small. I love the idea of the shopkeepers really getting to like him. Even if they don't talk much, I enjoy the notion of them seeing this haggard hedgehog come in after doing some world saving, no fanfair, no big deal, just trying to get some coffee and junk food, and they start to take notice of what he usually gravitates towards so as to keep a few extra boxes in the back.

(Also, he's 100% on the spectrum. I don't make the rules. Sega, regardless if what you intended, you coded this boy and I appreciate it.)

6: One Way I Relate to This Character

... gonna get a little personal here, and maybe this goes into headcanon stuff, but like- I developed a bad habit as a child of wishing things were my fault so that I could fix them, or at least, be responsible for it, since I knew I could handle the backlash when others could not. I sort of feel... Shadow maybe has the same difficulty. This would be particularly true after GUN claimed he was the reason they stormed the ARK. I dunno... seeing him grapple with that as a kid, and then again as a preteen during the Shadow the Hedgehog game, it made me feel less alone in striving to get better and move on from that type of thinking. I'm still working on it, but then, so is he, probably.

7: Things That Give Me Second Hand Embarrassment

Oh my god his dialog lines sometimes just *gag* Why do they write you like that baby boy I am so sorry...

Or like, the LINE is cool but the APPLICATION is wrong? Listen, I enjoy the IDW comics even if they are having to recreate the wheel as it were, and the, "cowards run I win" line is a BADASS line but like... not... not in that context. Not with that characterization. Oh that hurt me to read XD

8: Cinnamon Roll or Problematic Fav

Oh, I love him when portrayed both ways, but trash baby problematic fave is always my favorite. You can sprinkle essence of cinnamon and sugar in there, but the man will still kick people in the face and then scarf down hot chips and coffee beans so like... he IS a weird little alien monster with morally ambiguous motivations at the end of the day XD

Group 1

Ooh ok. So this one would be interesting...because Nagisa is like the only calm, introverted personality amongst all these assertive kids.

I feel bad for saying this...but I think at times he would be a little overwhelmed by them and all their energy.

He’d have to be the voice of reason because of his analytical, open perspective and ability to read others. Which all of Group 1 kinda lacks.

I don’t think he’d be properly heard at first, and his voice would kind of drown amongst them. But give it a little time and Group 1 will eventually instantly shut up when he has something to say.

Because they do respect him a lot, and understand that they need him.

Nagisa being in this group would also mean he gets roped into a lot of stuff haha

Group 2

Hmm...I could see him getting along with these kids, who mostly are introverts and a bit on the awkward side.

They’re also very artsy, and so is he! He’d be the token musican amongst them. Cue him getting pulled into Nakamura vs Chiba fights all the hahaha

I can also see this group appreciating his interests because that’s what they’re all about. So him liking Sonic Ninja? He can totally talk about it all he wants with them. They can have really interesting conversations.

Most of this group are supporter-type of assassins, which suits Nagisa perfectly well. He’d blend in even more with them.

We all just know that he’d get into this friend group thanks to Nakamura lol

Group 3

Ahhh...interesting to think how he’d fit in this group considering you know...the first day bomb thing...ha...ha...

Let’s say he joins because of Hazama. These two bond over having chill personalities, mother issues, love of literature, etc. She totally invites him to vibe with them

Hara would especially dote on him, but you know she’s like that with all of the class lol. But fr, her motherly nature would go up 5 notches with this affection-starved boy

I do think Nagisa would not be on best terms with Terasaka in the beginning, and that lowkey extends to Muramatsu and Yoshida.

I feel like those two would actually end up liking Nagisa a lot and eventually the whole group adores him...and Terasaka’s stubborn ass won’t admit it for a long time lmao

But we all know Nagisa and Terasaka grow to have a super important relationship built on trust later on ^^

Nagisa’s solitary style in assassinations would work in this group, as long as the rest of the squad puts trust in him. If they don’t...then his role won’t work.

I think Nagisa would have a lot of empathy for Takebayashi, and they’d be kind of like those awkward-ish friends in the same circle who can vibe with everyone, but not alone lmao. You know what I’m talking about, we all have that friend lol

Nagisa and Itona...I think he’d definitely be a little protective and understanding of Itona’s situation.

Group 4

His friend group!!!

I haven’t talked about it a lot, but Nagisa is super super super important to these five kids and the dynamic they maintain.

First of all, he’s pretty much the glue holding them together. His compassion and perspective towards all of them helped make Group 4 a stable group

He definitely brought Sugino and Karma closer, that’s for sure. As well as the Sugino/Karma + Kayano dynamics. It’s because they were all friends with him.

He’s literally like the only guy in Kanzaki’s life that she’s 100% comfortable with. That definitely helped in her joining them.

And I can’t think of any right now, but I know he’s very kind to Okuda in canon. And his body-reading abilities and compassion probably mean he’s saved her from a few awkward situations.

Basically: this group needs their little blue assassin-therapist boy. He means a lot to them, and vice versa.

In assassinations, I wanna say Group 4 understands his style the most because they know him so well. I mean, they completely seemed to trust him in civil war. Only Karma was on the opposing side and he felt threatened by Nagisa, showing an understanding of Nagisa’s talent.

Also since they know him best, they won’t underestimate him like most of the class probably would.

GETTING TO KNOW THE MUN !

ONE THING YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT ME: i have a very fortunate (/sarcasm) mix of introversion and range of ADHD, which makes interacting in a roleplaying community quite challenging for me. i tend to get easily overwhelmed and have trouble keeping up with my DMs. if you’ve ever sent me something, be it in character or out of character, and i haven’t responded? there’s probably a few different reasons for why i haven’t gotten around to it. but the least likely is that i’m annoyed at you or dislike you! i’m very scatterbrained and usually focus on stuff that holds my attention for long periods of time, because my brain is hardwired to hyperfixate on things that way. plus, with me being introverted, i am running on a limited social battery that needs time to recharge. please don’t think it reflects on you as a roleplayer or person if i don’t respond, because it certainly doesn’t! my brain just works in a funny way. i’m always happy to hear what you have to say about stuff though!

i haven’t been on this funcking site forever and i haven’t posted any dumbass headcanons on the yandere simulator tag in forever. so much has happened?? my girl hanako has plot relevance in a different universe and my boi kencho is on a boat but whatever floats his boat---- *slapped* okay let’s talk about this instead :)))

gema taku: (look mom it’s me in four years!)

- it’s been established that he’s an asshole. and he is, don’t get me wrong. but i like to think gema genuinely wants some friends- just people who have the same interests as him. i think everybody can agree on that, he just takes it way too far.

- but that’s because gema is passionate about video games! his parents (but especially his grandparents on his mom’s side omg) have spoiled him, mainly giving him video games since they’re expensive and to them expensive = kids like it. that’s how he got his first gameboy color when he was only five. ever since he’s been addicted

- but now his parents are REALLY worried, they’re like ‘frick we fricked our kid up’ his grandparents are supportive as ever but that’s because he doesn’t live with them. if he ever moved in with them (and let’s be real, if he doesn’t get his life together soon he’ll have to!) they’d be as disappointed as his parents. but he doesn’t know how disappointed they are yet shhh

- he actually has a little brother who would be in like 5th grade if they were in america. (i dunno i’m dumb) his little brother doesn’t like spending time with him and gema doesn’t like spending time with his brother. 

- while it’s true gema’s brother hates him and his brother is nowhere near as spoiled as gema, his brother still likes video games. they’ve 100% done the “mom said it’s my turn on the xbox” thing together, pretty much every day after school

- speaking of after school literally the only responsibility gema has is to pick up his brother; he forgets to do it half the time. 

- his brother does martial arts as a hobby and gema is forced to go to his brother’s matches. he hates it and mainly plays video games like always,,, though sometimes he peeks up, gives his brother a thumbs up, then goes back to whatever he was doing. he’s a jerk but he can be sorta supportive

- honestly gema’s brother could take him down in a few seconds despite being half his size

- really popular on social media, has this whole persona and everything! only the gaming club members (and probs his brother too) knows about it but he’s mostly teased. secretly he kinda wishes he could be as popular on the internet as he is in real life (Same gema same, but i’m not popular anywhere lol)

- get this though! he doesn’t really have a crush on the bullies. he just wants to be friends with them so he can get popular. i think that’d be a good alternative so the fandom could not be pissed off about it (but i don’t really like it either don’t get it twisted fam)

- hoarding thousands of anime body pillows within his closet

- honestly his only friends are the guys in the gaming club but they don’t even 100% like him... actually, midori does! him and midori are really good friends and they genuinely like each other’s company. but gema will never admit that out loud.

- hates fureddo, considers him satan even though that guy is one of the nicest at school. 

pippi osu: (when you play osu! and yandere simulator)

- obvious headcanon is obvious. she plays osu! a lot and is a champion at it.

- she’s seriously a sweet girl, but she’s really introverted and prefers to be alone most of the time. that’s how she got so good at video games, she dedicated her alone time to it and now she’s an e p i c  g a m e r

- she’s really short, the shortest person in the gaming club. everybody considers her the baby of the group and she gets treated as such. that lowkey annoys her but she’s learned to live with it, and get those sweet sweet baby perks. because that’s a thing now.

- disaster bi!!! she likes girls and boys equally but is kinda shy when it comes to girls in real life. luckily ryuto exists, so it’s fine---

- was probably a furry in middle school. she’s still a fan of sonic boom and wears her bandana the way she does because of it.

- she works at the yandere simulator universe gamestop! it’s a really fun job for her. it’s how she met ryuto! he was buying a video game for a friend of his (not anyone in the gaming club because he didn’t know them at that point) and he saw the super cute cashier and his heart exploded. he died right at that moment and his body was taken to the morgue.

- she has a literal vodka aunt and loves her. she comes by often at the house because pippi’s parents work a lot, so her aunt watches over her! her aunt always brings a ridculous but fun gift with her and they have a lot of fun. once ryuto came over when pippi’s vodka aunt was over and since that woman was lowkey getting a bit drunk she ALMOST SPILLED THE TEA ABOUT PIPPI’S CRUSH ON HIM AND PIPPI WENT TO THE MORGUE

- owns a pet cat named ozzy. (yeah i’m going all out with the references)

ryuto ippongo: (is it THAT DUDE?)

- no, it’s not that dude. he’s awkward as hell and doesn’t even really like video games that much. but it seems like everyone around him does, so he pretends he does. especially for pippi! because oh my GOSH that girl is cute though!!! he knows it and wants to date her really badly but he’s socially anxious and can’t bare to ask her out. yet

- he loves his parents and all, but he’s constantly lying to them saying he’s studying, even though he’s playing video games and “subtly flirting” with a cute girl. (him lying to his parents is actually canon i think)

- honestly the only the only expectation his parents have for him is to get good grades. that’s all they really care about, but they still do love ryuto. he just kinda feels like that’s all they care about sometimes, since they ask about it often and it gets on his nerves

- as you can see ryuto just wants to fit in. he’s never really been part of a distinct crowd before, and it always made him feel different compared to his peers. but once he got into the gaming club he was a lot happier! though, he still doesn’t like how he has to lie to everyone. he really wishes he could just be honest.

- he’s actually dyslexic, but he was worked with at a young age so he can read good enough. he still feels more pressure because of this, though. he keeps this secret from everyone in the gaming club, especially pippi, in fear of being made fun of.

midori gurin: (MY FAVORITE)

- Has ADHD

- Even though she cannot focus whatsoever, her positivity is contagious, and so is her smile. Basically everybody lights up when she walks in the room. However, she has been bullied because of her hyperactivity. Though Midori will stand up for herself, and she takes shit from nobody. Please don’t make Midori mad. She will take you downtown, and she can hold some pretty mean grudges too. (At least, sometimes.)

- Very forgetful, and that’s why she asks so many questions all the time.

- She loves Pokemon! Midori is very passionate about it, and her favorite Pokemon is Magearna. (She’s got thousands of Pokemon plushies)

- Her family is rich, she’s an only child, and she’s somewhat spoiled. She always has the latest technology, ESPECIALLY the newest phone models. i read on the wiki that yanderedev said midori’s parents are likely VERY cumb but personally i don’t agree and that’s why i make headcanons, to go against authority :)))

- Wants to become a videogame designer, though she doesn’t have the patience to become one tbh. she thinks it’s easy but when she tries to do it she cries after like, 10 minutes because she can’t code.

- Midori is friends with gema because she knew he needed a real friend, so she’s always there for him!.

- Has a bunch of different accounts for different websites; barely uses them. She is a VERY fast texter, but sometimes gets so excited during texting that misspells words or accidentally ends up spamming the other person she’s texting.

- Is currently secretly dating kaga kusha,,,, OKAY LISTEN! i know the uh, reason why most people ship them... but for my own sake i’m gonna say that’s not canon at all (i hope it’s not) and i’m gonna ship them because the iconic dumb and proud + smart and crazy couple is iconic, at least to me

- Her movements are quick and jerky. 

- Whenever she's happy she hums her favorite songs and dances around everywhere.

mai waifu: (cutie!!!)

- she’s trans and she’s openly out! i’m pretty sure that’s been said everywhere but i like that headcanon so ya know... even if that wouldn’t really work in japan... let’s ignore that! 

- the bullies like to target her for obvious reasons, but she’s learned to ignore them for the most part, and focus on her friends and supporters.

- she is the one that has given the gaming club that whole “otaku” vibe. sure, the others like anime but her!!!! oh her!!!!! she takes it to the extreme. it’s in her nickname, her aesthetic, everything. 

- speaking of aesthetic she has an aesthetic tumblr blog

- she has social anxiety, so she doesn’t have too many friends... but lots of guys (and girls too tbh) have huge crushes on her because she’s just so cute. 

- her best friend is pippi! they play video games, watch anime, have plenty of sleepovers and they play with ozzy! it’s a lot of fun. mai is one of the only people who know of pippi’s crush on ryuto and she is pippi’s wing woman.

- while she’s really good in domestic type of situations (she’s really close to her mom) she can’t really draw. at all. but she still likes it! most of her drawings are crappy looking anime characters, but she tries lol.

Surge, Sage, Tangle, Whisper, and Kit 😀

Same deal, least to most hated:

5) Kit. I actually don't mind Kit at all. Yes, he's a little too much on the woobie side, but his situation is genuinely tragic (it honestly unnerved me when he said that he only wants what Surge wants) and his last speech to Sonic was poignant: my man is smart and devoted and cutthroat when he needs to be. Obligatory "fuck you IDW Sonic you piece of shit who can't even make the announcement of the death of a person without making it all about you".

4) Whisper. She's also cool. Much like Kit she's too much of an angst central, but I like the idea of a character who's more introverted and solitary. She got milked more than Kit did, and she has had some questionable scenes such as her not coming to defend Silver when she could have (plus Flynn thinking she has to take care of him...), but eh, still the best OC hero IMO. Which is not saying much. but still.

3) Sage. A complete nothing. She's the most shallow ripoff of Rei Ayanami you could do, and the development of her "feelings" is portrayed in the most laughable way possible (all together now! NANANANANANANANANANAAAAAAA). Also, it's not her fault that the fandom has decided that her existence means that Eggman is Actually Good Deep Down... but she's not gonna escape the allegations soon, not when the plot does little to justify Eggman's preferential treatment for her.

2) Tangle. She's nothing more than a cute quirky uwu ADHD-coded womanchild now. I have not forgiven her yet for snatching the Diamond Cutters' name because she thought it was cool, without an ounce of respect for Whisper's feelings. She doesn't deserve to be treated like a dog turd by Lanolin, of course, but man she's a far cry from the Discount Blaze she was meant to be.

1) Surge. What a pointless waste of a character. Her personality is, again, the most cliché thing you could do with "Evil Sonic", and the only thing that saves her is that it's an artificial personality - I can imagine that Starline has a very poor opinion of Sonic and that's why Surge's personality begins and ends at "LOOK AT ME AND HOW AWESOME I AM", but that's my headcanon and to this day I haven't understood what the fuck was his deal with replacing Sonic and Tails. Also, she's woefully weak and pathetic, not even able to defeat Sonic when she was high on Wisps and he had a sprained ankle, and yet she got hyped for more than a year as such a formidable foe for Sonic. Also fuck #50. I want to find her tragic, but not if the only reason she is so is because Sonic himself is a total prick in the ass.

What inspired you to rp your muse?  —  I’ve always loved the broken characters with a hard personality and dark backstory. When I first got into Sonic, Shads was the first character I was drawn to. Writing him comes so naturally and I can very easily relate to him.

What keeps your inspiration going?  —  inspiration? What’s that? No, but in all seriousness, I have to say my mutuals/friends and fanart and the like. And music. Music always helps.

Some more personal questions for the mun.

Give your mutuals some insight about the way you are in some matters. So I tend to go from very clingy to completely distancing myself. This is due to some past trauma that makes me both desperately want friends but also push said friends away out of fear. I also lose inspiration so easily and tend to go days or weeks without writing replies. This is due to irl crap, mental health issues and just zero motivation.

Do you frequently write headcanons? Ehhh. I don’t write them. I create a shit ton but never really write them down. They mostly float around in my head, lost in the void that is my mind.

If someone disagrees to a headcanon of yours, do you want to know why?  — Eh depends on the headcanon. Again, my portrayal, my headcanons. I’ve spent a long time creating my boi Moon and I’ve made it clear that he is very heavily headcanon based and canon divergent. So if someone disagrees, that’s alright, but don’t be an asshole to me about it.

If someone disagrees with your portrayal, how would you take it?  —  Unfollow me if you don’t like my portrayal. There are plenty of other Shadow rpers out there that you may prefer.

If someone really hates your character, how do you take it?  —  Then why the fuck are you here? If you don’t like the character, then don’t bitch about it. Instead go to a fandom you enjoy.

Are you okay with people pointing out your grammatical errors?  —  Absolutely. I’m very scatterbrained and often forget words when I type super fast. Always let me know if there are errors in my writing!

Do you think you are easy going as a mun?   —  Yep. I’m really shy and socially anxious when it comes to interacting with others, but I’m quick to offer help or plot ideas if anyone needs it. Although I will not hesitate to snap your spine if you harm or hurt any of my friends or you shit on the things I hold dear.

hc + chaos emeralds

Shadow has control over chaos energy without being in the presence of an Emerald; I usually don’t write Shadow as being anywhere in proximity to any of the Emeralds since I generally opt to treat them as like...weird capricious gemstones that have the power to completely annihilate the world if in the same area for too long (why they always have to be scattered after they get collected). But Shadow’s powers grow increasingly more strong the more Emeralds he has on him. While I’ve mentioned that my Shadow cannot go Super unless he has someone else’s energy to feed off of, Shadow with all 7 Emeralds is still not a force to be reckoned with, and really isn’t THAT MUCH WEAKER than his Super form. Shadow with all 7 Emeralds has certain abilities that include minor reality warping and time hopping. But, as I’ve also mentioned, because the energy is constantly funneling through his body, sometimes it can cause him to act erratically as it essentially causes him to short-circuit and can be DANGEROUS in the long-term. This would be a really interesting AU to develop further and I’m piquing my own interest.

promises

Shadow has a pretty child-like view of promises. He believes that without fail promises should never, ever, under any circumstances ever, be broken, and he would rather die than actively break one. He’s like this because pretty early on in his creation, Maria made him a promise “about being able to come play with me after they run a few more tests on you!” while he was still in his Mewtwo-tube (lol) and then obviously that came true, so….yeah. Promises are sacred to Shadow. He also feels incredible guilt over the promise he keeps to Maria and feels like he isn’t really living up to it, so he doesn’t make them anymore. Not even childish “promise I’ll be there at 5’o clock” comments. Nothing.

trust

Shadow is naturally not a trusting individual, but he understands now that this is one of his biggest shortcomings and he’s WORKING ON IT. After spending time with Team Dark and seeing the benefits of having people close to you, Shadow knows that trust gets you farther in the long run, so...he’s trying. There are also people Shadow trusts without necessarily liking; he trusts Sonic  to have his back, but I generally opt for a level of disdain on Shadow’s part. Which I think I’ll make a post about WHY I default to Shadow being a little bit meaner to Sonic at first...lol. More on that soon!

extreme gear !!

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA. Shadow wasn’t there for the events of Riders or Zero Gravity. HOWEVER Shadow DOES have an Extreme Gear! I had this thread with a Wave (@babylonbrains) like...early on in the blog where Shadow went to visit Wave’s shop and got a Fly-type Gear made for a G.U.N. mission. Just like while Shadow has his motorcycle (which isn’t very practical given he can Run Fast), the Gear serves a bit more purpose since it’s a Fly-type. He usually uses it for Stealth missions. There isn’t a lot more to say on it but he likes it a lot. It’s a matte black with some red decal work on it.

G.U.N.

Shadow’s feelings about G.U.N. are incredibly complicated. He hates them but is essentially tied to them--the best way to keep his promise to Maria is to work with a non-partisan entity that has massive wealth of information on EVERYTHING on the planet, right? So that’s what he does despite the massive amounts of corruption. At present he and @the-owlchemist​ ‘s Noctus are discussing laying down the foundation to weed out the corruption and make it into a better place in the future -- which ties into the future for my Shadow, where he eventually feels more proud of G.U.N. before retiring and becoming Mobian-John Wick agagdfksdf

cloning

Shadow is kind of ambivalent about the Shadow Androids at this point. I haven’t written him coming into contact with any of them but now that he’s pretty set on knowing who he is and his past, I would really love to see how that goes. I think he’d feel bad, knowing that this robot has his identity and his facade but knows that it ISN’T HIM…….what kinda toll would that take??? Y’know? He doesn’t think about it but I’d be interested to see what happened. It’d also be a reminder that he’s semi-replicable. Ouchie.

books/reading

Shadow is a very fast reader but he doesn’t really read for pleasure. He generally only reads what he has to -- mission files, briefings, etc. etc.. The stuff he DOES read for pleasure is generally books on Chaos theory. Shadow is more intent on reading non-fiction things he knows he can implement. He’s good about taking what he reads and applying it to his life.

Shadow can appreciate a Good Aesthetic but he isn’t like that into flowers or anything. That said, he takes gifts very seriously! Cream gave him a tiny succulent that he keeps on his windowsill and is very obsessive about. He’s got other plants like that in his apartment.

solitude

Shadow generally opts to be alone when he can. He’s just kinda wired that way. He’s a very solitary person who prefers to focus on himself and can be quite introspective. Shadow doesn’t get moments like this much anymore unless he’s sent on solo missions, and being an introvert, he is VERY happy when he gets a moment alone nowadays.

fears

Without a doubt, Shadow’s biggest fear is letting down Maria. He is also afraid of losing his memories again and being made into someone else’s weapon. But that aside, Shadow doesn’t have any smaller, weirder phobias. He’s a very composed individual.

competition

Shadow is that breed of competitive where he doesn’t even fucking bother with 99% of the people who egg him on because he just KNOWS he’s better than them and it just feels like a waste of time to prove to everyone that, yeah, I’m better than you. But when you put Shadow up with someone that CAN hold their own against him? Shadow will fight tooth and nail to beat them and that’s where the banter and the cocky comments and attitude come in. Look at SA2! Shadow clearly has his goal in mind but he also goes very much out of his way to piss Sonic off and remind him “hey, you’ve got competition!” but when it comes to Tails and Knuckles, he doesn’t even give them the TIME OF DAY. That’s the sort of person Shadow is.
