huh, not really a vent but just more of a sappy/semi personal tangent abt cynic,,

yaknow, as much shit as i give him, he has such a special place in my heart. his conception came about right after some pretty hard times in my life (and ironically, in hero's as well, that ended up having to be totally retconned) and in a way cynic is kind of like, a creative byproduct of that time period.

i care this loser very much. he's helped me unpack a lot of my own feelings over the years, while also being kind of a pseudo-successor to some of the unfortunate character writing decisions that had been made for hero back in 2018-2020 i didn't get to have full say over. in kind of a ironic sense part of my first iterations of sonic live on through this bastard and to me that's a little poetic lmao.

its no secret that i'm biased towards jason griffith. ryan and junichi have both also super grown on me over the years and are delightful to hear. i used to hate rodger's sonic back when he first started out though he's also grown on me a little over the years (i love him in sonic boom)

also? i think jaleel white is super underrated. AOSTH / SATAM sonic is adorable to me, idk. i'm a sucker for the old cartoons.

i haven't heard a whole lot from sonic prime's voice actor (i still need to actually watch the show) but i liked that he kinda sounds like a cross between rodger craig sonic and ryan sonic tbh.
