ahhh probably the final chapter of dear christopher! it's sitting there staring at me and begging to be finished. after that, i'm not sure which one will be next 🤔 there's plenty to choose from, that's for sure ahaha

‘Hi, Alastair. Alright?’ ‘Yeah. You?’ Thomas smiles sheepishly at him. ‘Ahh, I’ve got a bit of a headache, but I’m alright otherwise.’ Alastair snorts and says dryly, ‘That’s what you get for drinking so quickly.’ ‘I was nervous!’ Thomas cries as he drops into the chair next to Alastair and dumps his bag by his feet. Alastair would panic about the fact that this is the first time they’ve ever sat together like this but Thomas continues with, ‘I’m not a party type, and I’m not fond of crowds, so when I’m in situations like that with a bunch of strangers, I… well, I either spend my time eating like a horse or drinking whatever gets put into my hands.’ ‘That’s very dangerous,’ Alastair scolds. Then he smiles. ‘You’re an introvert?’ Wincing, Thomas mutters, ‘Yeah… sort of.’

9. 🤔What’s a story you’d love to write but haven’t even started yet?

oh geez, there's a ton of those! thomastair in their thirties and forties, more missing scene fics from canon, and i'd like to dip my toes into writing other ships/characters too like herondaisy, arianna and gracetopher - not to mention our TID gang (ESPECIALLY sophideon, my beloveds ♡). oh and more aus of course, because i wouldn't be living up to my username if i didn't want to write those ahaha

In the shadowhunter universe i think the circle has the most amount of fucked up relationships. Like everybodys got complex outside the norm relationships with at least two other members. The circle is so fascinating to me. The most popular and charismatic guy is evil and the few people who figure it out takes forever to do so. People are properly rebelling against their parents. They make themself a big menace as teenagers. And on the other side youve got the downworlders reaction to this. Tessa and Magnus are heartbroken. They give up on Stephen. There is so much going on but we are given so little.

YEAH i think the circle is such an underexplored aspect of the tsc universe!! i highly doubt we'll ever get any sort of series or even a full side book dedicated to them but the tidbits of info we do have from the short stories are so fascinating. it honestly brought some much-needed nuance to the tmi parents, bc even though we do have a few details about what went down (like the circle originally not being anti-downworlders, but sort of gradually moving in that direction after valentine's father died) i did feel like tmi left me wondering a bit how they all ended up as a part of an extremist group.

my favourite thing about the circle is that, at least at the start, they all have very similar views to the tmi gang: that the clave is corrupt in many ways (objectively true), and needs to be reformed. especially in tftsa it's a statement we hear simon say over and over and over again and i just LOVE that juxtaposition, the implication that if a different kind of person had gotten a hold of simon & clary and even the rest of the gang they could've ended up exactly like their parents.

and tbh, i just love reading about the circle and their drama and misery, lol. i love it when characters act really terribly i love it when characters manipulate & get manipulated and are then eaten alive by guilt. the evil we love is a gem, just robert experiencing flop after flop and ruining everyone's lives. and then becoming miserable for the rest of his life because of it. genuinely very fun. i think cc does morally gray characters very well (when she wants to, which is rarely </3) and i just love to watch miserable people be miserable what can i say!!

also, so true what you said about fucked up relationships. the circle didnt fit into the big love web i made for all of tsc because there's nothing linking them to any of the tmi/tid/tda/etc characters (thank god lmfao), but behold, i made them their own tiny love dodecahedron for funsies:

is it more contained than the 74-people big tsc love web*? perhaps. is it any less insane? absolutely not.

*which, by the way, misses many people, as i've found out in my tmi and novella reread. but they dont fit on there so i'll have to recreate it in its entirety if i want everyone to fit, which is not something i want to spend my time doing, because i am insane but not that insane

Alastair carstairs and also to some degree grace? I mean the opening line just screams Alastair. Also the whole don’t you think I was too young to be messed with HE WAS LITERALLY A CHILD. ‘Don’t you think nineteens too young to be played by your dark twisted games’ and Charles engagements and lies ‘but I took your matches before fire could catch me’ he made it out! He dumped Charles before he lost himself completely and I will never not love him for that

But also Grace like to her mum? ‘Never impressed by me acing your tests’ I mean come on

Once again, Alastair carstairs. And not just because I love the man. It’s giving him at the academy and then him growing up and loving himself and stopping being the bully to avoid being the victims. It’s giving him spending his childhood under his dads abuse to grow up and be free of him and be able to live his life how he wants. It’s giving him dumping Charles and dyeing his hair back to its natural colour in the same day. It’s giving him growing up and learning to be happy.

The story of us

Ari to Anna. ‘So many walls up I can’t break through’ with Anna being on the defensive but not telling her why. Them being so happy the first night they met to them not talking in cog to them almost being back together to them fighting to them actually communicating and getting back together? ‘Is it killing you like it’s killing me’ Ari knowing how she feels but believing that Anna is entirely unaffected by their ‘relationship’

Never grow up

Any of the tid adults to the Tlh gang but also Alastair to Cordelia (and now Zachary)? Like the man gives up his childhood to ensure Cordelia has one then suddenly she’s grown up and has her own opinions and he can’t keep protecting her because now she knows things he never wanted her to and then she’s married and he really can’t protect her anymore.

Enchanted

Thomas to Alastair. I don’t really need to explain but it’s the way Thomas has loved him from the start. Maybe not truly been in love with him given they barely knew each other but there’s always been those feelings. ‘Please don’t be in love with someone else’ and Thomas watching Alastair and ch*rles interact over the years and just know that Alastair doesn’t feel the same way but still desperately dreaming that maybe one day he will and then one day he does?!

Better than revenge

The one and only Miss Cordelia Carstairs. Pre chot obviously. Like the majority chain of iron being her and James married and content and having their deal and her not really worrying about Grace all that much because nothings gonna happen between them for another year and James is acting a bit different know so maybe there’s hope?? And then suddenly seeing them two kiss.

Innocent

Both Alastair and Grace. The whole song is about not defining someone by their mistakes (although fuck Kanye) and both Alastair and Grace repent for their pasts (I would personally argue neither are actually responsible for what they did but that’s another post) this song is also Thomas and Christopher respectively, constantly standing up for the other after they get to know them. It’s giving Thomas defending Alastair to the merry thieves for YEARS and kit defending Grace to the whole crew after the gracelet thing comes out

anyway here’s my two cents on who’s making the cut for these 10 shadowhunter romance stories!! (See Cassandra Clare’s latest announcement about better in black)

tid: idk i feel like this could be a rogue Sophie/gideon or cecily/Gabriel moment. or wessa with jem existing too. who really knows but all of the above i would enjoy <3

tlh: um maybe hopefully plz thomas and Alastair we barely got to see them actually be a couple I feel like so that would be fun. I would also love a luciejesse or herondaisy moment <3

tmi: um well OBVIOUSLY this is what I’m most excited for because i have a normal attatchment to the characters of the mortal instruments. ANYWAY i want sizzys proposal in full detail. we got the clace and the malec ones give them the lovely proposal that i deserve to read. pay them RESPECT. i would also looooove a clace story like any at all. i love and miss them dearly. I would also love a malec story with the kids bc we have literally hardly seen into their family life after they got Rafael but maybe that’s what tec3 is for idk cassandra doesn’t acknowledge its existence. but also if they’ve had two books I’m not exactly sure if she’s writing more about them. DO NOT GET ME WRONG!!! I would loooooove more malec content im not an IDIOT but like idk. but also they’re fan favorites so i just don’t know. im trying to see into cassandra’s mind and it’s not working. i would also actually drop dead to the floor and cease to exist if it was centered around the tmi gang as a whole going on a date night all together triple date moment!!! THATS what i want but i think that’s a bit idk it’s j not gonna happen. unfortunately for me. whatever ill take what i can get and reread the brunch story. I love the brunch story.

tda: well Cassandra’s use of the word throuple makes me assume it’s a safe bet to think one of them will be kierarktina but there’s also the delusional thought that she’s talking about herongraystairs. so idk abt that but yeah kierartina. a Diana and Gwyn moment would also be like somewhat shocking but fun and fresh. idk there’s not that many tda couples tbh. emma and Julian already got their moment in sobh and i don’t wanna read about them so I’m hoping it’s not them. idk

misc: the thing is i feel like this project is very ambiguous bc the theme is just live and romance so it could be anything like people who were never officially couples. unrequited love is fun. kit and ty moment. but also they’re the focus of twp so im just not gonna go there and Cassie may not either. i was also thinking abt this and a malcolm and annabelle story would be reallyyy interesting. also they don’t really fit into one specific series but they’re around in tec,tmi and tda bc they’re awesome i would LOVE a Helen and aline centered story like tell me about their time on wrangel island because we know next to nothing about that seemingly important place and what the hell goes on there. and helen and aline get fuck all in these books. anyway. that’d be a good time. also like. she said there may be some spice . but like i want love confessions and silly goofy character moments and actual stories not just characters going at it yk. so liek what are the vibes here cassandra…

No. Wait. I take back what I said. Alec is still a whining ass and slut-shaming idiot with the emotional maturity of a cabbage because his character can’t hold onto any consistency for the dear life.

Also Clary, once again, sucks.

The gang is planning on contacting the Seelie Queen via the bell Clary received from Kaelie in the previous book in order to ask her for information on Jace.

→ He turned as they came through the doors, his dark hair pasted to his forehead and neck. → He turned as they came through the doors. His dark hair was pasted to his forehead and neck.

The opinion of the Clave isn’t really stated, just that is normal for the Shadowhunters to go missing or die, not whether Jace has done the latter. It’s irrelevant whether the Clave believes Jace to be alive or not, since their search was never about Jace anyway. This is told in the first chapter by Alec. The search was first and foremost about Sebastian, and Jace was given some attention on courtesy for being a Clave hero. Additionally, Alec would know whether Jace was dead or not, and since the Clave wasn’t ever really searching for Jace, Clave’s opinion on Jace’s status doesn’t matter.

Why use parentheses when the information can be incorporated to the sentennce?

→ Simon looked down at his wet jeans and a wrinkled gray ringer tee/T-shirt that said CLEARLY I HAVE MADE SOME BAD DECISIONS on the front in block lettering.

How dare a person have a history of relationships before you, especially someone who has lived centuries (which is another can of worms that I’ll get to later this chapter).

Simon and Clary walk in the front, Isabelle and Alec in the back. Isabelle and Alec are talking about how Robert is intending to become the Inquisitor. Alec says:

Which would be a fun contrast for later when he becomes the Consul, a juxtaposition with someone young not intending to make difference versus a more mature Alec knowing better and wanting to change their world for better, but only if there was any clear trajectory for Alec’s character in the series instead of whatever Clare decides to concoct later on.

I like stories that are thought ahead, details planned from the beginning. Not every series needs to be like this, but Clare has a tendency to come up with things as she goes along, things that are not alluded to some point. CoFA and CoLS are littered with TID references because she wrote these two series concurrently, which is why she was able to draw references immediately. These fairy rings were just another reminder how little anything meant in the beginning because how cool it would’ve been if in the very first book Clary saw these? If this series was planned ahead of time, what kind of a payoff it would be? There’ll be other things later on as well that exemplify this.

In the Seelie Court, Alec has terrible time for once again being reminded of his mortality and dying youth, and after they leave he goes to Magnus’ place.

→ Alec’s shoulders relaxed as...

Now why the hell would that be Will? Those are not even his initials, and Magnus told Alec in CoLS that his name was Will Herondale. And of course it’s a Herondale Alec is feeling insecure about.

First of all, gross. Second of all, this is a centuries old grown-ass man talking about how another centuries old grown-ass adult doesn’t have such a young boyfriend with endurance that refers to their sex life. It’s more than disturbing, emphasizing eighteen-year-old.

In CoB, Magnus was described looking nineteen. What, pray tell, differentiates these ages from one another.

→ Another emphasis on their age difference and how it weighs on the relationship. They should not be together.

We cut to Clary coming home and overhearing Jocelyn and Luke.

Jocelyn’s nightmare is grounded on years of manipulation and abusive relationship, having to deal with feelings about her monster of a child, that if being voiced, would be reflected on her as a mother unable to love her own son. Her responsibility and guilt over Sebastian, though not at all her fault (how can you fault a parent not being able to murder her own child), is not at all comparable to Clary’s teenage romance, as if Clary losing anyone else would be bearable if at least Jace was at her side. The writing doesn’t say that or necessarily mean that, but the implication is there. It’s almost cringeworthy how the writing tries to prod sympathy for Clary on the coattails of Jocelyn’s trauma.

Very much akin to Clary’s fit of rage against her mother in CoG. It comes out of nowhere, Clary herself is written being aware that is makes no sense, but again it only underlines how little empathy Clary has for her mother and the heavy things Jocelyn has endured in her life before Clary. Clary’s anger pushed the responsibility on Jocelyn, not Valentine having corrupted their son before birth.

Only thing Clary has lost from her old life is going to school. She had not other friends than Simon.They still do nerdy things together given time. She’s always had Jocelyn and Luke, albeit temporarily losing them at points. She has lost nothing from her life before as it stands today really, only gained more after being introduced to the Shadow World, so this sentiment is overly dramatic and has no basis.

Are we really going to pretend that Simon has no idea how to read Clary at this point? Like he doesn’t know her at all to know how she feels?

→ She hadn’t known Simon had seen that in her.

Even dealing with the loss of two of her brothers, Isabelle is still thinking about Clary’s well-being, as if Clary is the one dealing with a loss any greater than hers. There’s no consideration towards here her which could be easily remedied if Simon said anything about Isabelle handling the situation or her and Alec having each other so him being there for Clary is alright.

Now it’s just about Clary and Clary and Clary.

How long is Clary’s neck? If their shoulders were touching, Clary’s chin would only reach her own shoulder.

Waa, waa, because having Jace is all that matters, which doesn’t exactly scream appreciation or care towards anyone else if their comfort and presence mean fuck all without him.

Jeg har haft en fantastisk dag. Først var jeg med min veninde i parken, hvor vi holdt picnic og fik nogle gode snakke, og så lå vi og læste i græsset og solskinnet i tre timers tid.

Da jeg kom hjem, havde Mio kastet op, og jeg var en rigtig hønemor, var lige ved at aflyse mine planer, men jeg holdt godt øje med ham i fire timer, og han opførte sig helt normalt og havde appetit, så han havde nok bare spist en dårlig flue og var ikke syg (og har det også helt fint nu).

Så tog jeg på Under Masken - det havde to af mine venner og jeg planlagt, bare i tilfælde af at Johnny Depp kom forbi igen; da han var her med Hollywood Vampires for nogle år siden, var jeg stamkunde på Masken, og jeg havde været til koncerten og taget hjem og for en gangs skyld ikke været på Masken, da han så kom der om aftenen. Så det skulle jeg selvfølgelig ikke misse to gange, hvis han nu kom igen!

Det gjorde han ikke, men det var en skøn aften alligevel. Jeg fik noget alenetid med min nye veninde, som er min bedste vens roomie, og det er så dejligt, at vi også har meget at snakke om alene. En af mine venner kom så og havde taget stoffer, og det har jeg det meget svært med (jeg belærer ikke nogen, med mindre de tager stoffer ind i mit hjem - det finder jeg mig ikke i - jeg bliver bare triggered af, at folk er på stoffer), så jeg gik udenfor for at få noget luft.

Udenfor mødte jeg den skønneste fyr, og jeg endte med at bruge tre timer på at snakke med ham. Den type gode, dybe snak, hvor jeg ikke engang havde lyst til at tage ham med hjem, men bare blive hans ven, og jeg fik hans insta, da jeg endelig tog hjem, så vi forhåbentligt kan holde kontakten. Han lever et nomadeagtigt liv, så måske har han også brug for en ven, det fik jeg i hvert fald fornemmelsen af.

Nu er jeg hjemme, klokken er halv fire. I går var jeg i parken med min lillebror og mine to bedste venner og sov klokken halv elleve. Det her sommerferieliv er lige mig - nogle uger går jeg i byen hveranden dag, andre uger laver jeg ikke andet end at læse gode bøger og være sammen med min kat. Jeg elsker det mildt kaotiske, men stadigt trygge. Jeg elsker aftener som i aften, hvor jeg møder et dejligt menneske og ender med at have en lang samtale. Måske ses vi aldrig igen, måske gør vi, og det hele er bare helt okay.

Nu hører jeg fuglesang gennem mit vindue, der er på klem, og lyden af min kat, der knaser sit kattemad i køkkenet. Nu skal jeg sove

Harry Potter Nerd Trip til London

Allerede tilbage i 2020 havde jeg planer om en Harry Potter London Nørd tur med en nær ven, men som alle nok husker, var vi alle sammen i sommerhus i Jylland den sommer. Turen var dog ikke glemt, og efteråret 2022 blev det en realitet.

Hovedformålet var at se teaterstykker Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, men det var lige voldsomt nok at tage helt til London med det ene formål. Jeg havde været i London otte gange tidligere (det kan du læse om her), så jeg havde allerede set de mest almindelige seværdigheder og lidt til. Så det endte med at være en rendyrket Harry Potter tur til London.

The Making of Harry Potter / Warner Brothers Studio Tour

Den første erfaring vi kan give videre er: Book i god tid! Vi havde nær ikke fået billetter, da man åbenbart skal booke 2-3 måneder i forvejen. Dog er der indimellem nogen der rykker deres bestillinger, og så dukker der alligevel noget op. Vi tjekkede hjemmesiden flere gange dagligt og lykkedes til sidst med at få to billetter. Vi havde adgang kl. 14:00, hvilket var fint. Men er du en hardcore will not miss a thing fan, så forsøg at booke med adgang når de åbner.

Studierne ligger i Leavesden i det nordvestlige London. Det er let at komme dertil, enten med den gratis shuttlebus fra Watford Junction, i bil eller med bus fra London. Sidstnævnte kan fås som en samlet pakke med billetterne.

Jeg var der selv for første gang i 2016 med en ungdomsskolegruppe, og jeg mindes at vi var der 3 timer. Allerede der havde jeg besluttet, at jeg gerne ville tilbage og have bedre tid. Og det var en god beslutning.

Da vi var der tæt på juletid, var hele oplevelsen tematiseret efter ”Hogwarts in the Snow” – altså magisk hvid jul. Og det var fuldstændigt magisk! Det gjorde hele oplevelsen både bedre og anderledes, og oveni det var der en del nye ting.

Hvad kan man forvente?

Allerede når man når til Watford Junction, kan man se andre fans iklædt Hogwarts-skoleuniformer. Så inkarnerede var vi dog ikke. Når man træder forbi garderoben mv., bliver man som det første mødt af en fuldskala Ukrainsk Jernmave (dragen trioen flygter fra Gringotts på), inden man kan styre ind i caféen eller begynde turen. Her får man en kort videoinstruks af Fred og George, inden lærredet glider op, og afslører den store dør ind til storsalen. Under vores besøg var den dekoreret med juletræer, julemiddag og isskulpturen fra juleballet i Flammernes Pokal. Det er overvældende, især hvis man forventer at storsalen er filmtricks – det er den slet ikke! Herfra kan man ellers bevæge sig videre rundt mellem kostumer, rekvisitter og udstillinger af scener såsom Gryffindors sovesal, fællesrummet, Dumbledores kontor, eliksirklasselokalet og mange flere. Så kan man blandt andet lære, det lokale både har været rummet med den trehovedede hund, Fluffy, i 1’eren, Snapes kontor i 2’eren og et meget større klasselokale i 6’eren.

Hogwarts Ekspressen

Desværre er det kun udsnit af Ministeriet for Magi og den forbudte skov, der er udstillet, da de ellers ville være enorme. Flere af skuespillerne forklarer ellers, at de elskede at træde ind i Ministeriet for Magi alene pga. dets enorme størrelse. De er stadig ret fantastiske, og vil man have noget stort, kan man se frem til platform 9 3/4 og Hogwartsekspressen. Desuden finder man det indvendige af Gringotts i fuld størrelse. Det var oprindeligt ellers filmet i Australia House, London, men det var lettere for crewet at bygge deres eget – plus endnu et der ligger i ruiner til den sidste film. Og så kommer man selvfølgelig en tur gennem Diagonalstræde, inden man når til den episke Hogwarts model i 1:24 skala – altså ca. 15 meter høj.

Desuden er der masser af figurer og tegninger mv., der viser processen bag en stor filmserie som Harry Potter. Vidste du, at plantegningen over slottet blev ændret løbende? Den store bro, dødsgardisterne angriber fra, gik oprindeligt til et andet sted i slottet, men blev ændret i film 8, da der ikke rigtigt var nogen indgange til slottet. Drivhusene blev tilføjet til Hemmelighedernes Kammer, ligesom slagpoplen også er flyttet undervejs. Det kunne en af guiderne fortælle en masse om, og han var endda så venlig at vise nogen af de originale tegninger frem for os.

Vi måtte gå lidt hurtigt igennem den enorme butik til sidst, for at nå den sidste bus ved lukketid. Så havde vi også brugt hele dagen der. Men vi nåede dog at få aftensmad med butterbeer, hvilket i øvrigt smager helt fantastisk.

Den fantastiske Hogwarts model

Teater og Tour

Andendag gik rundt i byen til fods forud for teaterstykket om aftenen. Vi startede på Kings Cross (st. Pancreas) og gik i Platform 9 ¾-butikken. Den var heldigvis uden kø ved dørene, sådan som da jeg besøgte butikken i 2019. Herefter gik vi til spor 3 og 4, som er spor 9 og 10 i filmen. Det var desværre ikke muligt at komme derind uden togbilletter, men det havde jeg heldigvis været tidligere. Så gik vi lige over gaden til St. Pancras Renaissance Hotel – den bygning der udgør ydersiden af Kings Cross i Hemmelighedernes Kammer, hvor Ron og Harry flyver i Mr. Weasleys lyseblå Ford Anglia. Næste stop var Claremont Square ikke så lang fra stationen, hvor Grumsted Plads (Grimmauld Place) 12 er filmet. Man kan både se bygningerne der skal være nr. 11 og 13 samt parken, hvorfra Fønixordenen kommer ud, inden deres hemmelige skjulested kommer til syne. Mugglere kan naturligvis ikke se nummer 12. Om aftenen havde vi billetter til turens hovedattraktion: Harry Potter og det forbandede barn (Harry Potter and the Cursed Child). Det var ufatteligt godt lavet. Englænderne kan noget med teater, og effekterne til både tidsrejser, tryllestave, troldmænd der bliver spist af bogreoler, undervandsscener og rejser med susenetværket var helt fantastiske. Historien kendte jeg selvfølgelig, da jeg havde læst manuskriptet 2-3 gange, men jeg kunne dog alligevel ikke helt huske det. Og nu vi så lige var i nærheden af Leicester Square, tog vi lige et billede med Harry Potter statuen og gik i den enorme Lego-butik, der selvfølgelig havde nogle kæmpe Harry Potter Lego udstillinger. Som noget helt nyt for mig, var der også et rigtig fint julemarked på Leicester Square, som vi gik en lille runde i.

Den Utætte Kedel og Ministeriet for Magi

På dag 3 gik vi rundt i byen i eget tempo, og så et par af de gængse seværdigheder og parker, og fik selskab af både egern, duer og nogle undulatagtige fugle, der alle kravlede på os. Herefter ville vi besøge Ministeriet for Magi, men desværre var telefonboksen der udgør gæsteindgangen i Harry Potter og Fønixordenen samt Dødsregalierne part 1 ikke at finde. Men i filmen står den på Great Scotland Yard ved hjørnet til Scotland Place. Så faldt vi ved et tilfælde over Harry Potter Photographic Exhibition på vejen til Covent Garden, og brugte et par timer på at se på billeder og kostumer, læse fun facts og selvfølgelig gå i butikken ved udgangen. Det var en ganske fin oplevelse, men stedet er desværre lukket siden hen. Det var efterhånden blevet mørkt, da vi kom frem til Covent Garden, og det fremstod supersmukt med kunstige misteltene hvor de hvide bær var lyspærer. Vi nåede ikke frem til Minalima udstilling af grafiske designs til Harry Potter filmene inden lukketid, så vi kiggede ind af vinduerne, beundrede juleudsmykningen i Regent street og gik hjem – det var også blevet sent.

Den sidste dag var en søndag, og det er normalt en travl dag på Camden Market. De havde dog ikke helt åbnet da vi kom ved 10-tiden, og der var på intet tidspunkt så mange mennesker, som jeg har været vant til. Det var faktisk helt rart at være der. En af tingene på min liste var Primrose Hill en kort stykke fra Camden, hvorfra man kan se ud over hele byen – en ting jeg først sent opdagede og derfor ikke havde haft lejlighed til tidligere. Så gik vi forbi de sidste must see seværdigheder som The Shard, Tower Bridge, Tower of London, St Pauls Cathedral og Millennium Bridge (den der bliver sprængt i Halvblodsprinsen). Slutteligt lagde vi vejen forbi Leadenhall Market, hvor jeg endnu ikke havde været før. Det er et smukt victoriansk marked tilbage fra 1321, og for tiden havde det et kæmpe juletræ i midten. Det er desuden her indgangen til Den Utætte Kedel (The Leaky Cauldron) findes. Desværre er det kun døren man finder, og til brug for filmen var den malet sort og gammel, og har derfor kun en sparsom lighed med filmen i dag. Man finder indgangen i gaden Bulls Head Passage lige syd for markedet.

Og sådan sluttede endnu en fantastisk tur til London – jeg kunne sagtens gøre det igen. Der er heldigvis rygter om en ny Harry Potter HBO serie og et PlayStation spil på vej jeg kan glæde mig til. Desuden har jeg en lille drøm om at komme til Oxford, hvor flere af Hogwarts-scenerne er filmet. Det er desværre halvdyrt og bøvlet.

Ellers må jeg en dag til Universal Studios Orlando og se deres Hogmeade og Diagonalstræde eller tænke tilbage på flere af mine tidligere rejser med Harry Potter Indhold:
