Hmm I kinda miss being 14

'when/before i get my abitur i will do xy' but it didnt seem real. #like it is going ro happen buts its so far away it might as well not. and now? it feels surreal. im here. and now? #ive been doing the same thing for 13 years i cant just stop now. how can i just stop now? how am i expected to just stop? #idk. just kinda hard for me to grapple with the fact that this massive part of my life will be gone soon

Grad school was soul crushing and terrible, but having two uninterrupted years to dive into theory and media, and to discuss with other film people, to write about movies and to feel amidst kindred spirits, for TWO YEARS. That was great. I miss that a lot. I miss my professors. I miss the screenings. I miss talking about art house movies and marvel movies with equal measure because film is film and story is story, and I wouldn’t be who I am today without it.

i miss loving school

when i wasn't studying and doing homework i would look at studyblr, studygram, and watch studytube. i was always trying to figure out how to be more productive, how i could study more often, more effectively, etc. i found a lot of joy in making pretty notes, planning my day, making good grades. i wish i could go back to that

i both really miss going to school and also dont miss it. Did it take up my free time and indulge in my hyperfixation of literally just learning? yeah it did, but it was also sensory hell for me and im sorta unsure of what to do lol. i miss being able to socialize and skate around campus and learn things i actually want to learn!!! but also i lost all my scholarships so school is now just a distant dream for me
