oh ive always got more thistlecaster headcanons

fabian has never gotten sillier at a school dance than when he goes w gorgug. completely gives up on sophistication and choreography and being the future of dance and literally just jumps around with him for like two hours. he gets spun a lot bc he's a head shorter than gorgug and it makes him laugh every time

gorgug really likes fabian's laugh--the big bravado-filled guffaw, sure, but also the shrieky, undignified cackle that he makes when he actually finds something funny

i know we may be losing bloodrush buds but luckily it is just as easy for gorgug to pine over a pretty, covered-in-sweat-and-dirt-and-grass-stains fabian from the stands as it is from the field. easier, even

couples tattoos are generally a bad idea. however these two get them after their fifth anniversary--worst case, they decide its a friends tattoo!

(fabian's is an axe with flowers twining around the hilt. gorgug's is a sword with a silk sheet flowing around the blade. both are in gold ink, and they're both on the inside of their right forearm)

gorgug is a big fan of picking up his boyfriend. physically. he can do it he's got the strength and fabian is just sooooo easy to lift AND it makes him laugh or blush and get all cute and flustered. it's a win either way

this usually ends in them kissing for a solid minute or two before they get moving

gorgug helps fabian learn how to cook and bake! he also makes food for fabian a lot bc it's a huge huge part of orcish culture and fabian is so unbelievably touched whenever he does. it's a lot of breakfasts

they'd have a lot of post-bloodrush sleepovers but apparently they arent my bloodrush boys anymore. don't worry gorgug still insists on having the sleepovers once he realizes fabian is more upset about losing time with him than about him leaving the team

gorgug is initially so careful when they kiss bc Tusks. fabian appreciates that but also he likes the tusks he does not mind getting nicked in his quest to kiss his boyfriend

when he writes and performs a song for fabian, fabian fully bursts into tears bc he's so touched. gorgug is so worried until fabian manages to explain that no it's just really really sweet and he loves him and then well gorgug HAS to kiss him about it

their wedding is a huge blend of elvish, gnomish, orcish and solesian culture. it's also a very small affair with only their closest friends and family--but, bc fabian is involved, it's appropriately lavish and also a dry wedding

they both become very good at dealing with each other's nightmares--gorgug usually needs to spar or do something to get the adrenaline-fueled energy rush out, but sometimes he slips back into life-or-death mode. meanwhile fabian usually needs quiet and to be held and to feel that gorgug is alive and okay, but sometimes he gets worried that he's still dreaming. they both adapt. they love each other enough to adapt.

not to overuse an old meme but they are most certainly "if i run at gorgug he will catch me in his arms" "wait don't i'm holding clobica--"

in their (married!!! adult!!! happily ever after!!!) house there's a doghouse/mini-garage for the hangman, a garage for the hangvan, and special perches in gorgug's workshop for all of the Creatures gorgug keeps making

fabian becomes reaaaaally good at cooking breakfast. and that's it. he's passable at the other two meals but that man can bake and make a stack of french toast. there's a lot of breakfast in bed

they never stop being just. so in love with each other. someone asks gorgug how he fell for fabian and he just blinks and goes "how could i not?" and fabian feels the same way about him

i fear i went overboard

BUT here's the scales!

bobby:

trust: i def see bobby as having a bit of a cynical streak, so i think he takes a while to warm up to trusting. he has a way of internalizing shit and overthinking and is very neurotic, and i think he can absolutely overthink himself into mistrusting his partner on a wrong day even if he knows he's being irrational :(

jealousy: pretty much the same thing, plus i think growing up as the baby-faced dweeby kid of the x-men doesn't really give you a huge amount of self-confidence. i think he can really struggle w seeing himself as like, hot enough or good enough and project that on other people through jealousy, especially if he has such an objectively sexy partner as akihiro. again i think this is something where he'd KNOW he's being unreasonable but he can't help feeling that way

horny: LISTEN. YES he dresses like the assistant manager of a gamestop. YES he's a boring account. but i know. when i look into that unassuming, boring little face of him i know he's a horndog. if he wasn't he wouldn't have fucking bothered with the little song and dance akihiro and him have, because let's be real, akihiro's a pretty big shithead to him consistently and still bobby's like teehee! let's waltz! teehee! oh no let me kiss that death seed away teehee! that's classic horny for villain behavior. you can't hide behind those cargo shorts, bobby drake. i know what you are.

clingy: to me he's a pretty big relationship guy and is really attached to his partner, which is great if you're on mutual terms but i think can come off as pretty clingy if the other guy's looking for something a little more casual lol. def the type to keep texting a few times after getting ghosted before he gets the hint. oops

akihiro:

trust: BIG HUGE MAJOR trust issues. this guy spent his entire adult life seeing interpersonal relationships as entirely transactional and only started getting into this "unconditional love and trust" shit like five years ago. it's a learning curve. he's the guy in a sitcom who thinks their partner is cheating and starts stalking them

jealousy: see trust. same thing. if some guy is talking to bobby at a bar akihiro WILL stand menacingly close by and then be really annoying about mentioning that thats his BOYFRIEND and they're DATING. the guy asked bobby for the time

horny: controversial BUT: i don't think akihiro is very horny. he's been shown since his first appearance to be very liberal about sex, but in almost all instances these interactions are about control and power. akihiro uses his inherent appeal and other people's attraction to him to get what he wants in his never-ending ploy for power and evil-doing. to him, sex is transactional, it's just something he does just like he lies and pretends to be something he's not. ive seen some interpretations of him as asexual, which i think is really interesting and cool and a great take! i don't know where exactly on that spectrum i see him, i think he does enjoy sex but it would be a really different thing for him to sleep with someone he actually cares about, to the point where i could see it causing whiplash when he's being shy about it all of a sudden :')

clingy: i put him pretty high on the "needs attention" scale which i explained in another post, but i don't really see him being all that clingy. i think i might have coloured it in a little high here even since i think it's a hard thing to define, but basically i think that IN a relationship he would be a little clingy and want to be around his partner a lot, once he gets to a point where he can comfortably express those feelings, but he would never run after someone or try to cling to a partner that's dumped him. he thinks too highly of himself to debase himself by showing that he cares about another human being. this is about SAVING FACE, damn it

Doesn't like to cuss but if he's REALLY scared, he'll let a loud and quick "FUCK -" slip out of his mouth

Or if he's angry hell mumble "this bitch-" or something like that

He feels like he's not doing enough as a brother but genuinely forgets that he needs to take care of himself

Not physically but more so emotionally

He beats himself up when making a mistake even if it was out of kindness

He doesn't think things all the way through and just immediately jumps to "I wanna help people!"

And ends up making a bigger mess so he feels like a bad person

( people have reassured him he's not but he plays back how people get mad at him when he messes up and he doesn't know how to forgive himself if someone got THAT mad at him )

He sometimes just gets this burst of love and just hugs one of his siblings or friends

I think he doesn't develop feelings easily ( infact it's kinda hard for him to, not in a bad way )but one time there was a yokai, about his size, and they really enjoyed each other

He didn't tell anyone but he got her number and they still talk and he might have small feelings for her

The reason he hates being alone because it's a PTSD thing ( that only got worse after the kraang thing )

( he was alone and in danger for most of the movie, the only reason he wasn't freaking out because he knew if he did he was fucked )

And he got possessed before he could even lose his shit

But basically I think he got kidnapped by a hunter and held him captive ( either chained, or in a cage ) for 2 days before splinter found him

( yes they searched for him for 2 days )

The hunter would shoot his gun next to the cage ( or restraints ) he was in to purposely mess with him

And if he cried he would get in his face and start yelling until raph forced himself to stop crying because of fear

It was traumatic

Splinter has his own trauma from losing his fucking kid for 2 days, but it still fucks with raph badly

He still remembers it so vividly that it feels like it had only happened a week ago

So add that in top of the kraang doing what they did to him.....

He was only holding it together for Leo tbh

He can't go to certain areas or he'll start to hear the hunter yelling in his face again, like a hallucination

It's gotten a little bit better over time but the kraang set him so far back

He was also already claustrophobic, but if anyone tries to hold him down now he just immediately throws them off

And hard

Anything that really reminds him too much of the past he just starts freaking out

So he doesn't like to be alone :)

I could do a separate post for this maybe

But moving on

Any early 2000s song from anyone or any 2000 themed song is his SHIT

They did a karaoke night and he did Brittany spears ( yes I know that's like late 90s but yk THAT CATEGORY )

He put on a blonde wig tho and was actually kinda feeling it at some point

He even got them into therapy but I'm gonna make a draxum section because I love him ( I lied he's my favorite character, then Donnie)

Apart of draxs training he could definitely pass as a licensed therapist

So if really anyone has some sort of mental thing going on he's there

Even for Leo ( even tho Leo didn't really want his help, that quickly changed tho, again I'll just put this in his section✨ )

But Mikey has these really bad panic attacks that even his brothers don't know about

Only splinter and drax

Splinter is there to comfort him and drax is there to let him talk about it

Mikey doesn't want his brothers to know because he's technically the "therapist" so splinter and drax will never tell anyone

for the spotify art meme: 37 & my? 👀

ive been holding onto this one for too long just using it as a way to play with chalk brushes, but i think it's finally time i let it go

this one was so interesting! i associate this song very heavily with her father, and i had never thought about it in any context with her before. it's still His Song in my mind because it just is every aspect of his character boiled down to song form. but! it fits my in the sense that she used to be a lot more like him. it's a version of herself that she left behind when she was exiled. not one that she'd necessarily want to be again, because she wouldn't want that anger, but one she wishes the world had been a bit nicer to even though she knows that means she wouldn't be who she is today.

i realized after i had started the drawing that it also ties in something her mentor/den mother once said to her: she has a tendency to sit and let life happen around her while she just watches and weathers the storm, so she can seem very unchanging (and tbh she has changed very little in the past 80 years just because she found peace and what life meant to her long ago), but that she's like a rock in a river. if she sits still, she'll just be worn down.

9. Kiss…in public & 19. Kiss…for luck

Matty felt like he was going to throw up. The spliff he had smoked, what he hoped was stealthily in the bathroom, standing carefully balanced on the toilet seat to exhale directly into the vent fan, George laughing with his hands on his hips to keep him steady, had done absolutely nothing to calm his nerves. If anything, it had only made him more anxious, made him paranoid that everyone could tell he was stoned. Even after rehearsing all week, after playing these songs for months, after writing them himself, he still couldn’t manage to pronounce “thinking this through” properly, the words slurring together in such a way that it had become a meme on TikTok. He was about to fuck up the words to his own song on live broadcast television and then get ridiculed on the internet for having a speech impediment despite all the years of speech pathology he had attended as a child to lose his lisp.

He knew, rationally, they had been on bigger stages before. He knew rationally, the slur of the line was attributed to his Manchester accent and not his childhood speech impediment. He knew rationally, that even if he didn’t remember it, they had played SNL before. Maybe that’s why he was so nervous, maybe that’s why his stomach was churning ominously, leaving him wondering if he was going to puke or shit himself with nerves, or if he was really lucky, maybe a combination of the two.

He had seen the videos of their SNL performance in 2016, he had seen the articles condemning his “weird” stage presence. He had been high as shit on heroin, drunk as hell on red wine and it was truly a miracle that he had managed the performance at all. He had hazy memories of waking up in the back of the car taking them to the hotel, having fallen asleep with his heavy head on George’s shoulder as soon as they were in the moving vehicle, to hear murmurs of how they probably weren’t ever going to be invited back. The track marks on his arm had itched and shame burned in his chest. At the time, he hadn’t even been sure what they weren’t being invited back to.

But here they were, seven years later, invited back. Their fifth album was doing better than they could have ever hoped, their sold out North American tour had been met with critical acclaim. They were nominated for another Brit award and Jack had even accidentally on purpose let slip that their name was being tossed around as actual Grammy contenders. And they had been invited back. To play SNL, even though seven years ago Matty had blacked out and then apparently thrown up just off to the side of the stage, barely out of view of the audience. It was time for his redemption arc, time for him to show NBC that he was Matty Fucking Healy, and Matty Fucking Healy was no longer a liability.

Even though he kind of felt like a liability, standing with his guitar in the green room, trying to remember why he thought being a rockstar was a good idea to begin with.

The rest of the guys, and their backing band, where sprawled out on the leather couches, fiddling with their instruments, laughing with excitement as Matty paced, strumming a few cords as he did so, trying desperately to calm himself, to remind himself that he was Matty Fucking Healy. Worst case scenario had already happened last time they played SNL, so really he should be relaxed, it could only go up from here. His stomach lurched and he found himself scrambling over to the bar sink in the corner, leaning heavily on the counter, banging his guitar on the cabinet as he moved. He took a deep breath, and swallowed hard. False alarm. He was fine. Everything was fine.

“You guys are up,” said a PA poking his head into the green room, Matty looked up, seeing the look of concern and judgment that PA was giving him. He looked too young to have been around for their first performance on the show, but Matty was willing to bet he had heard about it when it was announced they had been booked. Keep an eye on the little curly one, Matty was sure some senior up stage hand had said. Last time he did heroin in the bathroom then threw up everywhere.

Matty swallowed hard. It was show time. It was just another show he told himself. Just another show. If he was losing it in front of a crowd of 300 he had no idea how he was going to handle Finsbury that summer- they were expecting 50,000. He knew it wasn’t the size of the live audience. It was the live broadcast and what it represented.

“Hey,” George said, catching his arm just as they were about to step onto the stage, and step into the shine of the lights. He could hear Jenna introducing them, though it sounded far away, like his head underwater, which was surreal enough in itself Matty thought hysterically. “Good luck.”

He wrapped one of his large hands around Matty’s lower back, skimming the top curve of his arse. He pressed his mouth to Matty’s, in a chaste kiss that Matty found himself melting into, trying to deepen, chasing George’s lips, even as he pulled back.

“You’re going to be brilliant.”

The crowd started screaming and Matty looked over his shoulder, realizing with detachment that they hadn’t been as hidden, hadn’t been as off to the side as they had thought, the studio audience had a direct view, a front row seat to George kissing him.

His next thought was the Taylor Swift song, has anyone ever kissed you in a crowded room. Followed quickly by this meant that the audience did in fact probably see him throw up last time. A hysterical bubble of laughter pulled itself from his chest and he rested his forehead against George’s chest.

George gave the crowd a sheepish wave before pressing another kiss to the crown of Matty’s head, before stepping back and making his way to his drum kit. Matty spun around and waved at the audience, moving into the spotlight to take his place at center stage, grinning to himself as they played the opening notes of Looking for Somebody (To Love). He already had found somebody to love.

holy shit they brought in siegfrieds wife after 7+ years of his solo existence. her design owns, they go together but also work well individually, they treated her well given how they altered his story and you can tell they genuinely love each other despite everything that happened but they also didnt just hand wave away all the trauma that went down

points for kreimhild having a very realistic response to finding out the truth

also i like siegfrieds wings and horns although theyre rarely brought up out of gag moments

Abnett When He Put a reference of Emps possibly being Alexander the great probably thought is was a cool thing but I can't stop thinking of Hephaestion's death and Alexander's grief of it, because if we say Emps is Alexander that shows a lot of his old personality if he did change from Molech or time. It showed that he did care once and showed real emotions. And Oll story can still make sense since Alexander is a conquer and did sometimes call himself god I think. That and Alexander actually died about 8 months later after Hephaestion's, at about 32 it puts lots of thoughts of what the Emperor was during it. Sorry for this rambling but this is just really interesting to me. I'm kinda surprise no one is talking about it. Sorry again

a lot of times im like ehhh... about the whole "emperor having had compassion once" thing but i do think him having been Alexander the great is actually really good for this. as far as I know this dude (which isnt very to be frank!) he was a guykissing boyking mass conqueror who was a historical figure when julius caesar was alive who died of twink death which ticks a lot of boxes for my thoughts on what the emperor couldve theoretically been while young (super long time ago, still a conqueror, immature in a way that makes a lot of sense with the ways the emperor remained immature to his sorta-death) with the bonus of making him a menliker 360 which as a fellow menliker series x i approve of very heartily. this might be how it works for me.

AND the whole hephaestion thing u say is SO FUN AND INTERESTING as a characterization thing... forget shipping the emperor with malcador or whatever the one person he considered his soulmate died before oily josh was a twinkle in marys grandmothers eye. which is i think so fucking true and real to him. + the like rage of being nearly allpowerful but you still cant bring back the person you loved most who died young slots really well into the emperor i think it gives him an achillean flair just a little bit of. you know when dads casually drop Lore about their life and its the most deranged shit youve heard in your life and hes just made it such a normal part of his life he never really thought to bring up his Backstory. i feel like this is the vibe by 30k. im imagining the custodes furiously sharing memes in their custodes only discord server about every completely bananas Emperor Lore Drop

the questions im mostly bubbling with rn about all of this are stuff like. at what points the historical record was lied to. like in 40ks version of history was alexander the great adopted or did the emperor do a kill and replace w the original alexander (Erebus/Marneus Calgar style) or was the backstory completely different and if so, what were the historical ramifications...... i obviously dk a lot about alexander the great but I just Think it Works™️. 37) What’s the funniest story you’ve written?

OOOH ok ive written a couple fics that were like literally crack but i think my funniest fic overall TO ME is my high school AU, We Can Live Forever. the title is from a one direction song, which is automatically funny, and then it just is a wild ride thru my sense of humor after that. i wrote most of this fic while zooted too, which explains a lot lol. i was actually just talking abt this particular scene with aforemention laureb the other day -- im putting it under the cut bc it's long but it's like the funniest thing ive ever written:

All the chairs are taken when Andrew steps outside holding two shitty chicken caesar wraps. Several of their occupants are reenacting moments from their last game using various lunch items. Andrew only has to watch the affair for a moment before he figures out he is being represented in the tupperware goal by an empty juice box.

Neil is sitting with his elbows resting on the table, watching with a small smile. He shifts to sneak a french fry off Kevin’s tray while he isn’t looking, then looks over to the cafeteria door. His grin splits open when he spots Andrew, and he pushes his chair back, gesturing toward his lap in offering.

Andrew sighs. He only allows his brain to read the situation as Gay Disaster and Object of Affection for about a second when he sits sideways across Neil’s thighs, Neil’s arm wrapping loosely around his waist to hold him in place. Then, Andrew realigns himself with what the situation actually is: Andrew and Neil, doing something they’ve been doing since they were seven years old. He relaxes, handing Neil his sandwich and ripping the cling wrap off his own.

“Which one are you?” Andrew asks, jerking his chin toward where a poptart has dodged its clementine backliner mark to charge at juice-box-Andrew in goal.

“I’m on the bench for this play,” Neil says.

“And then, Andrew! You were like, PSHAAHHHH!” Laila says, waving an imaginary racquet in the air to demonstrate the block Andrew had made. Matt imitates her general movement with the juicebox. “And the Allenstown guy was so mad, he tried to punch Jean!” Jeremy throws the poptart at an empty Coke can.

Andrew nods, taking a bite of his wrap. Copious amounts of shredded cheese fall onto his lap, so he brushes it all to the ground.

“I was a protein bar earlier.” Neil finally succeeds in unwrapping his sandwich using only one hand. “But then Nicky ate me.”

“Hmmm,” Andrew responds, eyeing his cousin across the table. String-cheese-Kevin scores on the opposing team. Nicky dumps a splash of Gatorade on it (and Allison’s hand) as everyone cheers.

Neil leans forward, and Andrew feels his breath on his earlobe.

“Want to know why you’re the juicebox?”

“Do I?” Andrew asks, willing every nerve in his body to stand down.

“Matt says it’s because you’re a little squirt,” Neil whispers, squeezing slightly at Andrew’s waist before leaning back against the chair. Andrew twists to glare at him.

“Don’t blame me,” Neil says, laughing. “I said you should’ve been Kevin’s hamburger — strong and beefy. But Kevin is selfish, and he was unwilling to sacrifice his hamburger for your good name.”

“Damn straight,” Kevin mumbles beside Neil, wiping off the plastic-wrapped cheese stick with a napkin before placing it back at center court.

Maybe in the future after working out their issues but if they started dating before working through all That i dont see it ending well given the codependency and the guilt and the sacrifice and the trauma and just. Yeah. Like i think eventually it could work out, they clearly both want to at least try and fix things to some degree (Chandrelle tries to apologize, Lazarus later tells her that being her swordsman wasnt all that bad when the last thing he said to her before being separated for however long was "Chandrelle, I regret this" or smth like that. Like theres potential but its gotta have effort put in first)

18- Do you title your fics before, during, or after the writing process? How do you come up with titles?

usually after. my titles come in two flavors: song lyric from whatever i was listening to while writing it, or random relevant noun.

ie like. "might be best to not look back," "yes, the only way out is down," "worship the ashes," "until the angels realize you're not one of them"

vs like. "lamplight," "heliography," "wooden mausoleum" (and some from my main, like "beholden" and "anchor")

song lyric is usually smth i think about while writing, and noun is i hit the post box and realized i didnt have a title and panicked

20- Have you noticed any patterns in your fics? Words/expressions that appear a lot, themes, common settings, etc?

glances at my main ao3's like 10 different stories about loved ones replaced by a fake. you could say that.

im sure there are more themes you see often but that's the one i can think of. i do go for a lot of like... playing with another character's hair, dance scenes, and characters being sleepy together tho in soft scenes. those are smth i return to a lot

i do repeat a fair amount of phrases. starting a new line with "and, well" is a big one ive caught myself doing a lot, but there's Definitely more

26- On average, how much writing do you get done in a day?

pfft, none. i get none done at all. i play minecraft and do class shit

First of all your post about serving looks thank you i feel validated finally i was watching ep with my fella that i got into the series and needed to stop every time scene changed cause how can this woman look so good each time no matter the situation it's insulting good for Mon tho but she did shortcircuit my brain this entire time.

Second that anon who talked about needing a heart to have heart disease preach both of you cause we all knew that's where they will go one way or another but seriously this isn't what Song died for. At the end fuck both grandmother and kirk even more the fact they made him being the one who set her straight not to mention the fact as you said so yourself both of them woken up after months just when wedding was around the corner, good for Sam so she didn't lost loved one at the end of the day but fuck the redemption arcs. The trio that adopted Mon + the baby later on is just insert Lady Gaga meme here everything we didn't knew we needed, deserved and more. So invested in lesbian drama that her baby almost fell out not to mention being ready to teach them step by step if heavenly water won't work you won't be able to find it anywhere else she is just THE CHARACTER. Poor Tee taking punches left and right we will never forget your sacrifice but at least she got Yuki to make it all better when she isn't busy giving lesbianism 101. Kade not being able to be there 90% of the time just hits different.

Last but not the least about if her parents knew i was laughing my ass off when she was saying goodbye before going to airport because we never got how they found out it really makes it into hilarious picture like oh your boss so nice came to make up with you but shouldn't they be concerned she makes her overwork so she stays over day after day not to mention all the tears in span of all this and at the end ship that saved us all just comes to the house like guess what we getting married and on that note so just you know we dated along the way sorry for late notice, poor Singha almost got scarred with what could have happened in That Scene.

and god That Scene. it is so funny to me that they were so nervous to fuck because they had basically been doing it for 3 entire episodes. im gonna miss them so much they’re so stupid but now they’re married and get to continue to be stupid together forever and that is so beautiful

<3 i’d heard creep years ago on a television show and didn’t think of it for a long time, i think once when i was 12 my dad played kid a and wasn’t really listening to it but i told him to turn it off because it was bumming me out? LOL anyways flash forward to age 15 in late october 2020 and i’m playing rockband 2 with my family, and recognize one of the songs that’s on there: creep. i remember how the verse goes a little bit so we try it… i’m no good at singing it because i haven’t heard it in years and years, but i think “damn that was a bummer. good song though!”

that night i decided to look up the music video on youtube so that i can familiarize myself more with the song to sing it, and wtf, they have a song called weird fishes! i have a pet fish i like fish! i listen to it and WHAT THE FUCK. it's like nothing i've EVER heard before, so vivid and rich and what the FUCK. WHAT THE FUCK. immediately obsessed with weird fishes. see jigsaw falling into place in my recommended, think lol thats a funny name, listen to it and go WHAT THE FUCK again. feel something shift inside me. after a 24hour weird fishes LOCKDOWN i go to the radiohead wikipedia page and recognize "oh ive heard of ok computer, dont know much about it other than everyone loves it," decide to listen to paranoid android first & then the full album. What the Fuck again. What the shit. Whag the hell.

i don't remember which album i listened to next, i want to say the bends? either way, by late november i was BIG into radiohead. hadn't finished all the albums yet, but the shift inside me furthered until i could hear a little "click" somewhere in my brain or my chest. ask for a radiohead shirt for christmas. get the DAEHOIDAR shirt from the website as a gift :-). radiohead is my 2nd favorite band. start watching interviews and learning bits and pieces about the guys. watch live performances. giggle and send everyone i know the winter wonderland cover. become clinically depressed. get through the rest of the albums. go inpatient. be half-awake one morning before the insanely early breakfast time, unable to move and DESPERATELY trying to remember the lyrics to faust arp. i fucking KNOW THIS. it was tearing me apart, i was so distressed....when i finally Woke up it all came flooding back and i was so relieved. i just think that memory is so funny. go back home and listen to more radiohead. cry to scatterbrain more times than i can count. that becomes My Song. start explaining who thom yorke is in casual conversation. get sent a lot of creep memes. radiohead has long since taken over as my favorite band ever and very soon my streaming stats reflect that. work the shittiest most miserable job imaginable at an extremely poorly-managed dog daycare and mumble the entirety of each radiohead album to myself to keep me occupied and pass the time as i very illegally was not allowed to sit down or take a break for 8 full hours. friends start knowing me for my radiohead obsession. therapist interrogates me over whether my obsession with my favorite band causes problems in my life. get a lot of merch and a lot of cds. watch THE SMILE's second livestream in january '22....

this is insane why am i going into so many pointless details. very sorry i got carried away....long story short i am the biggest radiohead fan in the world i regularly train myself in case someone stops me on the street and asks me to list every single song in their discography in chronological order and/or recite the lyrics to all of them and my parents know a lot about each member of the band and don't really like it when i involve radiohead trivia in every single conversation. i had a catastrophic level 5 radiohead moment at work a few months ago where a customer bought the suspiria soundtrack WHICH I DIDNT EVEN KNOW WE HAD and my vision got blurry and i couldnt type and could barely say anything coherent to him. my manager was unimpressed. a little embarrassing looking back but kinda funny.

why i love radiohead? perhaps because theyre the greatest band of all time. perhaps because im a greep. perhaps because he has to squeak and mewl while singing
