ATKH Fictional!George takes his iced coffee / oat milk situation very seriously - he will not be sharing his coffee with Fictional!Matty but he will be bringing him like a piece of lemon loaf or a cake pop or something, he's very concerned he's not eating enough after seeing the state of his kitchen...

I don't know who needs to hear this, but:

It is absolutely fine to use a label, only to realise it doesn't suit you anymore. Labels aren't there to bind you to them. They serve as a way to better describe how one feels and what ones lived experience can be like.

I had two pipelines of relabeling myself simultaneously.

From bi to lesbian, and back to bi.

From asexual to demisexual (because I thought, that one day, maybe I feel this kind of attraction, as sex-ambivalent and oscillating were terms I related with, and still do), and back to being asexual.

Does that make me less sapphic or a-spec? Absolutely not.

And to be honest: I still haven't figured out if I'm demiromantic or aromantic. And that is perfectly fine. We don't own anyone an explanation, but ourselves.

If the label felt good at that time, but doesn't anymore, let it go and take the one that feels more fitting. ♡ We are human beings. We are allowed to grow. You are valid, no matter which label you choose.

Omg he does look miserable poor Matty (also the panic he must have felt when he realized he was walking in front of a CAMERA)

BUT ALSO may I make the argument that Fictional!Matty might be even more miserable? Like IRL Matty is at least double fisting what looks like multiple forms of coffee. Meanwhile:

Ducklings Fictional!Matty - not allowed to have coffee because pregnant

On a Friday Fictional!Matty - is so sick he can't drink coffee even if he felt like he wanted to

All the King's Horses Fictional!Matty - can't afford fancy take away coffee

Infection Verse Fictional!Matty - is getting older and coffee isn't agreeing with him as much 💀

HOWEVER ATKH, when Fictional!Matty does drink coffee, it's for utility rather than enjoyment so he is drinking plain black coffee and hoping he survives. Typically, because it's cheap he is consuming instant coffee mixed with water for breakfast. (He may have even considered just like eating it once but thankfully resisted) Fictional!George meanwhile is an iced coffee with oat milk enthusiast and is drinking whatever the local coffee shop equivalent to a brown sugar shaken oat milk espresso is.
