I know this isn't really a question so feel free to talk about it as much or as little as you like: on the one hand, Jaheira! Still in love with Khalid after all these years. On the other, Halsin - doesn't really seem to do the 'one great love' thing at all. Both druids! Both old! One is a half-elf, I guess... thoughts?
LISTEN!!!
I think it's really important to me that Jaheira isn't just over Khalid because I thought it was SO fumbled in BG2. I truly believe she will love him forever, and that's important. And then Halsin loves in such an open and free way, it means that he's not going to have that jealous need for her to only be his. And as @smoreofbabylon pointed out they're both druids but they are both so DIFFERENT in how they embody being a druid. Halsin is kind of the platonic ideal of druidism, but Jaheira is much more complex because she's put down roots, and they're in a city, and she is more interested in balance across a much more holistic ideal.
And age and time is another really interesting one. Halsin is really still in his prime. He's middle aged, but he's got a lot of life ahead of him. Jaheira is old for a half-elf. She's really in, realistically, the last twenty to thirty years of her life. But they were at so many of the same places through their lives, especially in the past 100 years, but here's Halsin still roaming, still living a free life, where Jaheira has really buried herself in her duties. I love them as foils for each other!

damn i almost wish the intrepid heroes had done worse this episode because the concept is of this battle was epic as hell. i would have loved to see more of baron being creepy, a confrontation with jawbone and i would have loved to see the other players play baron
