This is more of just a random hc, but I think Alice has a habit of being kind of nosy. Like she’s the type to hang around a corner eavesdropping on a conversation or go through someone’s stuff if she has a hunch. And I feel like this is something Norton would tease her over even though he does the same thing (but for different reasons). I like to imagine them investigating together and getting into trouble :)

I bet it is a survival skill she had to pick up and now its something she can't drop. It being second nature to figure out what is going on around her at all times! I think she has a talent for relaxing people that are around her, on purpose or not, and that helps with getting information 👀 and LOL looking for excuses to peek into people's belongings like talking with someone and her eyes wondering into the bag of another person close by having a different conversation 🤣

YES the TEAM they would BE HAHA with Norton enabling her sometimes. Just noticing that she is getting snoopy again he just becomes suddenly chatty and personable to distract people for her LOL Noticing she broke a pick in a lock and he just passes by handing her a new one 👏👏 When its a place they are actively investigating then he is on it from the get go naturally 🤌🤌 AND might be him that ends up having to find her and go 'okay time to go, change disguises, GO now now now NOW'

Then I imagine there being times where he is noticing she is going a little overboard in places where snooping isn't needed and just leading her away from an area or group of people and having a chat with her that 'this place is safe, plus, i've got you, always with you'

I can see Norton being a good judge of character when money isn't blinding him, (I bet Alice helps calm his mind and keeps him in the present time and not needing to fuss about money and not starving) he can spot a safe person and a dangerous person from a mile away, as well as a safe atmosphere and an atmosphere that needs to be handled with caution to get through it without a conflict. a survival skill he picked up, likely from his own experiences dealing with all walks of life. especially, seeing true colors revealed down in the mines by his coworkers and just trying to get through the day without being noticed and harassed. So when he says 'this place is safe' Alice knows she can trust that assessment now 😭 I feel like she can get stuck in that 'nothing is as it seems' mindset except for when it comes to Norton by this point. Cause he was the epitome of 'not as he seems' until those walls were melted down 😭
