Hey I keep thinking about this question.

For further elaboration; you will be perfectly healthy without it, and face no complications relating specifically to that thing. You can still get exhausted from physical work and need to sit down and rest, but you won't have to be completely unconscious to recover. Likewise, your nutrients will stay balanced and you stay at your current weight, but you won't need any food. You can drink if you want, but its not needed if you don't eat.

And you absolutely CANNOT do what you choose ever again. no enjoying good food or enjoying a comfortable nap. Make your choice.

whats ur take on the whole ‘jd thought his brothers were dead’ thing? i love how its just a throwaway line to branch about how he did come back and no one was there and he didn’t think that he could be alive until recently… and then it never gets addressed again in the movie

Oh my gosh ok I love it when people bring it up bc I honestly forget about it sometimes too but every time I remember it it just BREAKS ME. I think some people think “oh well if he was fine abandoning him then he must not have cared” but here’s the deal.. I believe JD had the absolute deepest affection for his brothers but when his perfectionism kicks in he legitimately doesn’t even realize how he’s treating them because it’s a mental problem. I think he left because when his brothers didn’t want to hit the perfect family harmony he actually believed that in turn, he was nothing, because it was a failure of his leadership. He was worthless and would cut himself off from the world despite his love for his brothers. I imagine one day he was just really desperate and tried to go back to find everyone but when they weren’t there it really dug deep into that cut of “you couldn’t be the perfect leader and it hurt everyone. You are nothing” and it sunk him deeper into his recluse hole. When he got the news about Floyd it really triggered his desire to not only reunite with his brothers (which had been there since the night he left) but also triggered his newly extra sensitive desire to prove himself as a perfect leader. He would reunite with his brothers and lead them to the perfect family harmony and finally be worthy of their affection

I definitely want to make a comic around that line at one point! And let me know y’all’s thoughts on this ask too
