There is a great dynamic between Zim and Gaz, but I guess to be fair Gaz has a great dynamic with everyone.

Comment on this 4 second video of Dib being incensed that leadership roles in Irken society are decided by something as stupid as height;
"Honestly my main beef with the movie is that it still paints Zim as the antagonist when in reality he's a legitimate victim of an expansionist military regime. Even worse, one that doesn't want him and does its best to belittle him. People also like to conveniently forget if it wasn't for him the Earth would have been destroyed MULTIPLE times. From the moment he was born the Irken armada decided his life. It's one of the themes I really hoped they were going to run with. Zim coming to realize he has agency in his own life and doesn't need the approval of the Tallest. But instead Dib chooses to try and expose him at the keynote not even for the protection of the Earth. Just to prove he's right. Dib has a spaceship in his garage because of his involvement with Zim and it still isn't enough to be right. He needs everyone to acknowledge he's right. On the whole its a very good depiction of pride and how A LOT of characters in the series suffer from it. Zim is prideful, Tak is prideful, Dib is prideful, The Tallest/Professor Membrane, and even Gaz to an extent. "Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall."
I feel like Dib being consistently portrayed as able to see through BS and point out obvious social problems that no one else notices or cares about makes him the perfect person to help Zim realize he's as much of a victim of the Irken Empire's agenda as a perpetrator of it if they were willing to go there.
In the comics, he is aware that Zim has had the ability to feel love or friendship (mostly) bred out of him, but he hasn't yet moved beyond the idea of "he can't feel love, that makes him a monster" to realizing "they took away his ability to feel love, that's really fucked up".
I like the idea that maybe once Dib reaches that conclusion he'd try to help Zim, but Zim would reject him because he doesn't want to admit to being a victim. Dib would get upset and whine to his dad about how he tries so hard to save people and doesn't know what he's doing wrong or what he can do if they refuse to listen. Membrane tells him that no one can ever really save anyone. The best you can do is give them the tools they need to save themselves. Membrane gives the world solutions to hunger, climate change, and pollution, but the world has to choose to implement them, and often times they don't, which is why the world is still a dystopia despite his best efforts. So Dib figures out that the way to help Zim isn't like, trying to assassinate the Tallest and start a revolution on Irk to liberate him and his people like in an escapist power fantasy. The way to save Zim is to give him what he needs to save himself.

how a conversation would go if dib could talk to his younger self:
Young Dib: so… I don’t get to become a paranormal investigator… but instead a scientist… just like dad wants… and I get badly injured because of it.
Dib: yes… but it’s not too bad. we still get to enjoy studying the paranormal in our own time and with our family… the explosion was awful, I can’t deny that, but I’m still alive which is remarkable in itself.
Young Dib: and what about zim? I see the earth is still intact! Did we win? What happened to him? Did I get to expose him or did he finally give up?
Dib: well… no. something you wouldn’t expect at all, really. you stop fighting and learn to understand each other more. Things change between you two and what had turnt to friendship becomes something more.
Young Dib: …what is that supposed to mean…
Dib: zim will become an every day part of your life, and it’s not bad. you are the happiest version of yourself, despite things not going the way you intended.
Young Dib: how? because I can’t see how my life could get any happier than this if it’s not exposing zim… I can’t see him becoming better at all! that’s lunacy!
Dib: he does. he breaks away his ties with the empire he’s apart of and you realize his life was a lot sadder and darker than it seems. Having an alien on your side is better than having an alien against you… but your life becomes better in a number of ways. dad starts to understand you more, your relationship with gaz gets better, you make a lot of good friends, you grow closer with your cousin and aunt, you fall in love and start a big family, you’re very successful, and for once in your life… you feel understood and loved. even if not by everyone, you realize the family and friends that care are enough. you are no longer alone and everything will be okay.
Young Dib: then… when? Im exhausted of being put down all the time. And who do we fall in love with?
Dib: it’s going to get worse before it gets better, unfortunately… but when it gets really bad, know it will pass. don’t freak out, but your soulmate is zim. it seems gross to you now, but with time it all naturally comes together and makes sense and you never feel closer to anyone else.
Young Dib: …so I have a family…. with…. oh god. I am very disturbed.
Dib: don’t think too hard about it. you don’t have the context for it to not be weird.
Young Dib: I’m going to try not to and hope that’s all a lie…. anyways, if I become happier… then life as an adult seems much better than being a kid like now…
Dib: in our case, I’d say so.

Ship meme here!
ZaDr:
Tumblr media
Making me think there are better templates 🤔 BUT WE'RE DOING THIS ONE.
Fanon is fine it's just so popular that there's bound to be many people that make interpretations I dislike. AUs are good and all I just can't stand when people make them nothing but fluff and they call each other pet names XD I'M HERE FOR DRAMA DAMN YOU
ZaGr
Tumblr media
Possibly poisoned by the fact that most of my exposer is old 00's art where people were just trying to find anything hetrosexual to ship in this show. There aren't really a lot of main characters and Tak appears only in one episode so back then a lot of people didn't even know she existed.
I like ZaGf, I've had some funny ideas for it when it comes to @the-best-invader blog's backstory lol
Tumblr media
Otherwise though I've just never seen a version I like. ZaDr is too much of an OTP for me it's very hard to convince me to ship those characters with other people XD
Tumblr media
I did used to draw some kind of TaGr art? It was appealing to me, I liked the lesbians lol.
Over the past year though I've kind of forgotten what I liked about it. Idk I think there's potential for if I ever went back to think about Tak's character more, but I think it might be more of a friendship.
Especially if it's with the Tak ship instead of Tak herself. I think it'd be really funny if Gaz and the Tak ship were super close and hang out all the time and then real Tak shows up and is like SHIP KILL THAT HUMAN and the ship is like NO ORIGINAL TAK! I WILL DEFEND THIS HUMAN lol
DaTr
Tumblr media
Okay this one is one I haven't posted about before lol. I don't SHIP ship it, as in I think they should be otp dating forever, I just like the idea of Tak being Dib's one comp-het moment.
Like, back when Tak first appeared and he thought she was human, he actually really liked her because she believed him and engaged with his ideas! So he took his normal like of another person and went "Is this romance? Maybe I could be straight. I could try that" and then she turned out to be an alien before it went anywhere lol
I think more could be done with it XD
Tumblr media
I'm assuming the S is Skoodge
Tumblr media
I think Skoodge and Zim's relationship is interesting, and I like thinking about why Skoodge acts around Zim the way he does, I just... I just can't see it romantically. I think Skoodge deserves better, Zim would not treat him right.
I think Skoodge listens to whoever is scariest. He's a good loyal irken solider, but he also knows Zim is Definitely more powerful and so he follows him around. He wouldn't rat Zim out, not because of loyalty or love, but because he doesn't think he'd live.

Ghost 👻!
😈
👻 ghost: can you tease some wip ideas that have been haunting you/something you want to write in the future?
Oh gosh oh boy!
So right now on top of my main projects of Re:MHNY2, Dead Weight, and Paradorx, I have another mini-WIP that's kind of in the same vein as That Thing on Your Wrist, both in that'd I plan on it being a one-off, and in that it's an AU.
I've definitely mentioned it before. Right now I just have it referred to as Pen Pals, but the basic premise is below (spoilered for people who would like to keep the whole thing a surprise)
The idea I had is 1) there's not enough AU's in the Invader Zim fic community and 2) I got stuck on this idea of like, love letters, and falling in love from a distance. Like ye olden stories used to be, where fair maiden would write to yonder hero, and they'd swap poetics until someone inevitably died of tubercolosis or they ran off together. That kind of cheesiness.
Essentially, Dib's device from the first episode of IZ actually manages to connect with Zim's signal directly. Dib initially assumes it doesn't work, but Gaz inadvertently manages it. Initially, she's just trying to shut it off and keep her brother from being extra annoying if/when he finds out if works. The story is basically about Zim and Gaz communicating across the galaxy and falling in love.
There are some elements that are different, and Zim's backstory has been changed and updated. I have like, the whole beginning premise written, but I really want to take my time drawing out the details of what a developing friendship would like between them, and marinate on the funny interactions, what stories they'd tell each other, how they'd tell them, etc. I think, similar to That Thing On Your Wrist, I also want to make it like a 3 or 4 chapter story. I probably have enough for a whole short first chapter, but like my other AU, I want to have it finished before I update it so I don't have all these incomplete publications. I think it's also going to maybe have a lewd spinoff after its completion, because like, I can't have this premise and not get them to have phone sex. C'mon now.
Here's some teasers that elude to the progression of their relationship, and show some of the bits and bobs I've got written. Please enjoy. <3

🌻  friends like siblings
🌈  friends since childhood
Chloe and Adrien, maybe Felix too since they were all likely all close as kids?
⛅️  friends of circumstance
Gaz and Mabel, it'd be very reluctant on Gaz's part but it can be the start to a genuine friendship eventually
Let's talk dynamics! || Always accepting !
Tumblr media
🌻 friends like siblings / 🌈 friends since childhood: Chloe and Adrien (& Félix)
Tumblr media
Disregarding their eventual break-up in canon, Chloe and Adrien have been each other's only friend for a very long time. In your main verse, where Chloe does try to be a better person, I can see Adrien trying to help her, both as himself and as Cat Noir (when she's wearing Queen Bee's mask) and I think that this could lead to them rekindling the close, more genuine relationship they had when they were younger. Also, I'd love for them to eventually opening up to each other about their mental struggles. Chloe seems to know well enough in the show and he and Adrien were tight when they were kids, so yeah, it's likely that the three of them spent a good amount of time together when Félix's family was visiting. It would be interesting to explore how their relationship with each other has changed now that they all have their new roles and double lives!
⛅️  friends of circumstance: Gaz and Mabel
Tumblr media
I find the idea of Mabel and Gaz being friends hilarious, because they couldn't be more different from each other. Damn, they are pretty much opposites, under certain points of view, starting from their attitudes. It's a funny and interesting contrast I'd totally be up to explore! Also, hell yeah for them having a platonic slow burn and going from a point where Gaz can hardly stand being around that fireworks show of sunshine Mabel is to them becoming friends. Bonding over hobbies, but also personal experiences (I headcanon that the twins' parents are distant / not really present, so they pretty much had to bring each other up, a bit like Dipper and Gaz).

Ok so I thought up this au of my au a while ago and started these doodles a while ago, but then lmk happened and I was hyper focused on that, but now I’m kinda back on track so I finished the top on and then added to it! Also lol I literally just looked up a name generator for Ace’s birth name I couldn’t be bothered to think it through cause it’s only ever gonna be used once.
The au is based off of @melodyofthevoid ‘‘s royalty au which you should go check out!
And the designs for like zim and dib and kinda gaz, I got from @shandzii who you should also go check out!
So anyways, Prince Ace! The colors might change for the top one but I’m lazy so also maybe not lmao. The second thing of doodles is like Ace transitioning/his and Gaz’s friendship/relationship development from the ages 5-16.
I might just add Ace to the original plot of that au but like that would involve Gaz being the one traveling to his kingdom like how Zim would do with Dibs, or maybe they’d alternate as they got older cause gaz made an excuse like her being sick of boats or something like that and that would be how Ace travels to the membranes kingdom and meets Dib, zim and maybe zib if I decide I wanna keep him in here. I don’t think this au of Ace would rlly go anywhere I just like drawing Ace is a bunch of different aus for fun XD
Anyways the whole thing with gaz and ace’s relationship is that the Meadow kingdom needed the alliance with the Membrane kingdom and since Dib was already betrothed to zim, the next in-line would be Gaz (now that I’m saying this, if we’re going by the original au I think the next in-line would technically be Zib but lets just go with the fact Ace likes only girls so they wouldn’t work for the sake of making him and gaz work lmao) Gaz being the rebellious and independence- seeking child she is, really doesn’t want to marry anyone and Ace respects that but his father pressures him to presue her despite his father at the time not wanting his “daughter” to marry a princess because he is a prick but his kingdom needed the marriage so he allowed it but yeah Ace’s father got even worse when Ace decided to transition and Ace had to fight rlly hard to get his official title changed. But yeah little gaz was pretty mean to Ace at first but over time, they began to come to a better understanding of each other. Gaz supported Ace as he progressed in realizing his identity and Ace supported Gaz in her passion for fighting so they both eventually felt they could be themselves around each other and I think about the time they really fully get to know each other as people, they begin to see each other as more than friends. I think at a young age they would have made a deal that yeah they’d marry each other, but they would still just be friends and I think even after they get married, they are still in denial they are like stupidly in love.

Okay everyone I spent way too much thought into this but I made this playlist of musical songs to highlight IZ characters and potential relationships they could have
I tried my best to include as many different relationships as I could to please everyone, but I don’t have all of them. And I’ll probably add more to this as I discover new songs or get recommendations. (And THANK You pals who helped me with some of the song choices already)
But here is the link please have a listen: x
And here is the setlist and the categories I imagined the songs going to:
Zade Duets: Because what better way to start out the playlist than sticking to the status quo. Except maybe in the end there’s hope for a change 👀
What is this Feeling?
Your Obedient Servant
You Stupid Bitch
World Burn
My Eyes
Trust Me Not
Zim Solos: These are all Zimothy. Starting off with songs that represent the cocky space bug we all know. But OH NO is that self reflection I see?? Don’t worry folks we still end on hopeful note.
Hard to Be the Bard
How Bad Can I Be?
Someone Gets Hurt
It’s Over Isn’t It?
Our Word
Everything I Ever Thought I Knew
I Want to Be Tall
Zim and Dib Duets: These songs are just songs that don’t quite fit zadf or zade but fit both of them very well.
Non-Stop
Let Me Make You Proud
Dib Solos: He just wants to be validated and has self esteem issues and these songs show that.
(Just a) Simple Sponge
Good Kid
Wait for It
Breathe
I’m Not a Loser
Audition (The Fools Who Dream)
Gaz or Dib: This song could work for either of them. They just want love. Honestly they all do
The I Love You Song
Gaz Solos: Our Favorite Gamer Girl has feelings. From Anger to Sadness to Hopeful
The Destruction
Not Your Seed
Where I Want to Be
Prologue: Invisible
She Used to Be Mine
Home
Gaz and Dib Duets: The Membrane siblings have some lowkey angst between them and don’t agree on everything, but through it all still care for one another.
Do You Want to Build a Snowman?
Interlude IV
Requiem
For the First Time in Forever
What If
No Reason
Gir and Zim Duets: these songs are mostly Gir heavy but Zim is definitely present during all of them. Whether it’s in Girs imagination or not
Friend Like Me
When I’m Older
You and Me (But Mostly Me)
No Matter What
BFF
Zadf/Zadr Duets: Some good Zim and Dib Friendship vibes. With a hint of something more if that’s your jam
It’s Tough To Be a God
Two-Player Game
Sincerely, Me (ft Gir as Jared)
The Bro Duet
One of Us
Anything You Can Do
Zagf/Zagr Duets: It starts off as friendship into yearning and into maybe something more
Revenge Party (Ft. Dib as Cady)
Good Little Girl
My Freeze Ray
She Loves Me
Bad Idea
Rewrite the Stars
Tak Solos: Tak is a bad ass and wants revenge. However, maybe like Zim there’s more than meets the eye.
I’m the Bad Guy
May I Have This Dance?
My Grand Plan
Ready As I’ll Ever Be (ft Zim and the Membranes)
Tak and Zim Duets: I personally like giving Tak and Zim a sibling like dynamic. And so the songs here are highlighting their rivalry and the subtle hope Zim has for her
This Day Aria
Outmatched
Nothing Left To Lose
Datf/Datr Duets: The past betrayal with hope of redemption. It’s all the drama and confusing feelings you know?
Natalie Cook
I Love You (As Much As Someone Like Me Could Love Anyone)
For the Record
Tagf/Tagr Duets: They are Best Friends or you know they’re what historians call “Best Friends” if that’s more of your jam *wink wink*
I’m Just Your Problem
Little Miss Perfect
Seventeen (Reprise)
Zib and Za2r: Yeah this is just angst I’m so sorry
Confrontation
Monster
Our Love is God
I am Damaged
BONUS END FUN WITH WHOLE SQUAD: Because THEY ARE ALL A BIG HAPPY FOUND FAMILY IN THE END
Another Day in the Sun
You Can’t Stop the Beat
Dancing Queen
We Go Together
Jump in the Line

Invader Zim Fandom: Making OOC Characters Right
Having a character you love, then watching another twist them like the world’s funkiest pretzel just so they can fit into someone B-rated plot is, challenging. Truly, it isn’t difficult to see why so many have trouble with OOC characters in fanfiction.
However, I believe that not only is changing characters in small ways a necessity in fanfiction, but it is also fascinating to watch how different individuals interpret or mold the same character. And I think no fandom is better suiter for showing the importance, yet dangers, of OOC characters than Invader Zim.
Invader Zim is a show filled with characters that are either entirely self-interested or completely apathetic, and while one of my secret shameful glees in life is thinking about Invader Zim’s creator Jhonen Vasquez having mini meltdowns on fans giving deeper meaning to his surface level characters (c’mon it’s a little funny), the reality is that Jhonen’s vision of his characters can’t work in the majority of fanfiction, even if fans wanted to make them the same.
How would you even get a story off the ground about Zim and Dib developing a friendship beyond trying to kill/expose each other if they stayed as straightforwardly focused on their respective missions as they always will in-character? How would you have a fanfiction about the positive sibling relationship between Gaz and Dib (pre-Into the Florpus) when their dynamic in the show was all but exclusively toxic.
The truthful answer is the same one that I believe Jhonen would come up with, which is you can’t. The characters must be tweaked in little ways or there is no story.
Which is fine, and honestly preferred as I am given new ways to enjoy the same generalized character. However, why is it then that some of these OOC creations are praised while others are avoided.
The important thing to remember is to make OOCs right. Which is an easier thing to say than do. There are ways to start, such as checking to see if you have the basic ideals and concepts towards a character down. However, the greatest advice I can think to give is to look at a character and how they are reacting to problems and see if they are reacting as a character you have created, or as a body to fill in the appropriate reactions you want.
An OOC character may be necessary to fulfill a plot, but that does not mean the plot controls your character.
For example, let’s look at everyone’s favorite little crazy alien-thing, Zim. Zim is a very emotional character. This means when something tragic happens to him he could rage, scream, cry, panic, or even go into a deep dragging depression and all of those would be in character, in some fandom, somewhere. But, instead of doing any of those things let’s say Zim gets depressingly introspective. Readers get to follow along as Zim spirals, with great clarity of mind, into his sadness and fears, and we are pulled along through all the anxiety ridden rollercoasters this creates.
This is still fine, it’s something that I see a lot in fanfiction, and honestly, it’s probably a way the author deals with troubling situation themselves, but it was in stories like these that I first started seeing commenters shout ‘OOC!’.
Because Zim is not so easily introspective or so quietly fueled by the same anxieties as a human fanfictioner. Zim, even a parallel Zim, is Zim. So how would your new Zim actually react?
OOCness is delightful and I hope everyone knows it, but changing a character still means that what is left behind is, in fact, a character. And characters are consistent, self-reacting, critters of themselves.
As long as that’s done let’s make a million Zims! I can’t wait to watch them take over the world.

Hey! I found your invader Zim AU very interesting, I would like to know if in your AU, Miyuki has any relationship with Dib and Gaz? And if somehow she had something more with Professor Membrane.
And sorry for my bad English, I'm basically writing for google translator
(It's nothing! I have a little bad English too, so I also use translator's help and can have some troubles in building sentences and it's very hard for me to write a whole texts. x) )
Thanks for asking!
Yes, in this AU, Miyuki has some interactions with Membrane's children. When she saw them for the first time, her thoughts were: "I thought his parents were a little bit taller." (Based on one of the comic quarterly showing Membrane's parents and his dad were very similar to Gaz' appearance. I think Miyuki met them in the past once or twice in one of interactions with their son.)
Dib and Gaz, on the other hand, were confused by some alien lady knowing their dad... and their dad looking just like he had met her without any pretending that he's not. "What the hell is going on?" they asked themselves, especially Dib feeling himself betrayed and having a lot of questions to Membrane.
There's also a moment with one headcanon where young Membrane without his goggles and lab coat's collar would look similar to Dib in his most early concept-art (especially with his children being born in not natural way and Dib being some kind of clone or something like that) that makes Miyuki call DIb "Lil'brane".
Their relationship will be better in a future, but how - I'm not decided yet, sorry. For some reasons I've been thinking more on past interactions.
Before I answer the other part of question, I would want to say that there's the other part of this AU that shows Miyuki and Membrane's interactions in their past. Mostly it happening in some science-based college or institute (to place them in one building for meeting and starting competition without someone being higher then other in society) showing one joke made by my friend: Miyuki's disguise (fully realistic human hologram) seems like an alien appearance to the other people and gives birth to aliens-exists jokes and pays a lot of attention, while Spork (who is also lived the accident and followed Miyuki), like Zim, has only lenses and wig but seems to the others like a normal person and pays no attention to his look at all. And when Membrane discovers that Miyuki and Spork are actually aliens, he's not going to tell the others about it - he almost had known as human of "real science" and not going to risk his reputation and becoming wrong by telling someone about paranormal creatures that became real.
Talking about something more between Membrane and Miyuki - well, it's complicated. Representing my AUs with some two characters having close relationships to the others, I actually have two ways - friendship and romance. It's because I know there can be people who don't like when these characters having close relationships becoming love interests necessarily; and sometimes even I prefer way of friendship more than romantic; sometimes I follow two ways in one time, thinking how A and B are cute besties and drawing shippery doodles with them (even here, эхе, but I ship them anyway, tbh). You can choose the way you like more: Membrane and Miyuki as bffs (maybe somewhat that has name as brotp) or as two that overcame their enmity hills and united to role of lovely couple of top-scientists.

Breaking Dawn, Pt. 2: Rage of the Forgotten Ones
Author's Note:
Regrettably, this time, I'm not accepting OCs for the story. Though you may spy a cameo here and there for certain...persons. ;)
Anyhow, on with the tale! And feel free to tell me what you like and dislike about it. :D
BREAKING DAWN, PART TWO RAGE OF THE FORGOTTEN ONES
Tumblr media
If you're reading this, then again...thanks. I'm glad somebody bothered to check out my blog. I'm surprised you're checking it now, though. Shouldn't you be more concerned with the fact that hundreds of planet Earths are floating around in the sky above, defying all physics? Even the average ignorant idiot can tell: something is seriously wrong.
And I know you want to know how this happened. Maybe you heard about me. Remembered I was the "crazy kid" for a long time, that I had all of these "insane" theories about aliens and the supernatural, and now that this is happening, well, you turn to me for answers. I've got answers, alright...I've got answers.
It all ties back...to him. To an alien named Zim.
His species is called the Irken race. They're like reptile-esque bugs. Their bodies are organic shells, their REAL selves are attached to their backs in robotic backpacks called "PAKS'. They're generally proud, vain, narcissistic, selfish, dangerous, in a word...evil. I knew from the moment Zim entered my classroom in his pathetic disguise that fooled everyone but me that he was bad news, I swore to expose him.
But something happened over the years. Zim and I began to...
Well...
...I can't call it friendship. I really can't. It's like...we were rivals. And we always wanted to stay that way. To outdo each other. It was a "same time next week" kind of deal we had: he'd try to make some world-enslaving or world-destroying plot...I'd stop him. It was a great game we played. And I think we began to develop...well...a kind of respect...a kind of trust. We kinda mellowed, in a sense. Heck, we even applied to the same colleges. I guess that my life fell into a rhythm I intended to ride for the rest of my life.
...but before all that happened, there was...a period that I think back on with shame. It was kind of like the turning point. When we looked back on what we did, something changed in us. I think we kinda were forced to change.
See...I wasn't the only one who knew Zim was an alien. My sister knew, but she didn't really care much. Zim had another Irken living at his home, named Skoodge, but Skoodge wasn't really too much of a threat. He wasn't actually too bad, as far as Irkens went. But I did tell my classmate Gretchen about Zim, and I think she wanted to believe me.
And then there was Nick.
Nice kid from down south. Slightly annoying accent. Little bit dumb. Okay, maybe more than a little bit.
But friendly. Helpful. And Zim had experimented on him before. Made him REAAAALLY happy with this strange device he stuck in his head. Twice. I asked him for help, knowing he knew the truth.
I TRIED to train him. I really did. I tried to help him get smart and savvy the way I was. We planned...we calculated...a few missions went by, we did well.
He wasn't my friend, but...but he was a good comrade. Yes...a comrade. And that day, on March 23rd, six years ago...Zim did the worst thing he'd ever done.
And he did it to Nick.
...I own that. Because he was my soldier. My comrade.
...my fault.
I don't know if he...remembers it all. I kept wondering "Was he afraid? Was he begging for me to save him in his head? Was he crying all the while as Zim..."
Now I know how he felt. I'm feeling that way too. Because someone showed up at our front door. They forced a very dangerous, very powerful ring on me. A ring that can turn the imagination into reality. Chosen for me because I can overcome great fear.
And yet...
All I want to do now...
Is SCREAM.
At first...it was a spiritual experience. Exhilarating. Almost transcendental. He felt invincible. He felt...like he could face anything. Anyone. Dib Membrane wasn't afraid of anything or anyone, and he knew, in that first few moments he KNEW he could have taken on the entire world and WON. For those first few moments...the ring upon his finger showed him a world just in front of his fingertips, a world of potential.
And then...then it was not HIS will that controlled the power. It felt like he was being tugged around by slimy strings, his flesh was not his own...he was lost in his own spirit...and he knew what was at fault.
"Get this thing OFF me!" Dib yelled out, yanking on the white ring on his finger as best he could, gasping as the Irken with the golden eyes looked on in pitiless amusement. Two sets of antennae, one teal, one black slightly raised in amusement with gloved hands and a blue vest across his chest, with dark blue pants and boots of black...black to match the gloves...black to match his heart. "GET IT OFF!"
"It's no use." The Irken with the golden eyes said, waving his hand in the air. "I was the first one to touch the Exemplar Ring you wear on your hand. It might be powered by your Will, it might think you're using it, but really...it's MY will that matters now. It might as well be on my hand. And you're going to do everything I tell you to do. You won't have a choice." The Irken said.
Dib's sister bellowed angrily, punching the ground below and seething, frothing at the mouth. Unlike Dib, who was dressed in a fine outfit of black and green, she was all red and black, with a form that looked vaguely machine-like in its design, a fury dripping off her facial features as the Irken snapped his fingers and she panted slightly, slowly calming down.
"You...fix us...NOW." Dib snarled angrily, summoning up all his willpower, leveling the ring on his finger squarely at the Irken. "You FREAK."
"The NAME...is Zerinim Two Jookiba." The Irken with two sets of antenneas said, putting one gloved hand on his chest before growling fervently, a burning red fiery blaze of energy forming in his hands, sizzling like he was holding a miniature sun in his palms. "But don't call me "Two" like my closest loved ones do. Call me...MASTER."
He immediately launched the wave of energy squarely at Dib and Gaz, knocking them to the ground, Gaz taking a blow to the head, unconsciousness settling in as Dib felt the thing's grip on him relaxing, and now the many sledgehammers he kept imagining should be beating into this thing actually manifested in a bright green glow, energy constructs that struck at Two over and over as Dib kept the manifestation up, intent on one thing and one thing alone...
MAKING...HIM...PAY.
"I'm gonna make you sorry you ever came to my planet!" Dib yelled out, stepping closer and closer to Two as the Irken held his gloved hands forth, a sonic blast of red construct energy knocking Dib back as Two snapped his fingers, a surge of power rising from his form as a bow popped into his gloved hands. Dib jumped back up, quickly firing off blasts of energy from his ring like a cowboy desperately firing his pistols at an oncoming posse, but Two calmly stood still, the blasts missing him as he notched an arrow of burning red.
It launched through the air, impaling Dib through his left side and he screeched in pain, falling to the ground as his grip on his body faded, and he swam in and out of consciousness, struggling to stay awake, Two chuckling coldly as he approached the human and his sister.
"Ahhhhh, I NEEDED that. I'm in a such good mood right now...now you go home and power down and get some rest. Dream peacefully...it'll be the last happy sleep you ever have, I'm afraid." The Irken said, kneeling by Dib and lifting his head with one claw. It wasn't a mocking tone...it just said it. A statement of fact. Nothing personal. "You've got a busy day tomorrow, after all." He added with a slight smile, clapping his hands as Dib and Gaz found themselves returning to their normal clothes, getting back up and returning inside the house of their own accord, the will of their master, the being named Two, echoing in their minds...
Mercifully, Dib could feel his wounds healing. But this was cold comfort. All Dib could think about...was what this thing was going to do the world he loved.
...
...
...
...as Dib rested in his bed, snuggling up beneath the covers, shivering slightly, he grit his teeth and grounded them together. He was mad. He was furious. He couldn't even fall asleep without feeling like that...that thingwith the double set of antennas was watching him. It had loosed it's control over them...just barely. It was allowing them to rest, but that was cold comfort considering Dib knew the thing would be up to no good.
What would it do to his world? What would it make himdo to his world? What would it make him do to the people he loved?
Simply trying to imagine talking to his father or anybody else about what had happened was giving him a headache...no doubt another part of that being, "Two", inflicting his will on him. What would happen if he actually tried to tell his father what had occurred, get him to simply analyze the ring that he was unable to take off? Would it be some "Battle Royale" kind of deal? Would a collar manifest around his neck and take his head off?
Gaz. What was Gaz thinking, Dib wondered as his eyelids slowly beginning to drop, genuine sleep mercifully setting in. Was she scared? Was she indignant about being used? Or was she just...angry?
Well, as it turned out, Gaz was none of those things. She had long since fallen deep asleep to dream of a world that shaped and shifted by her will, brought to life by a giant red pen, floating upon a rubber piggy and laughed giddily at the new world she was making. She liked seeing things in red...yes, yes, she wanted to paint everything in red...
She knew this power would help her do it. She was aware it was bringing out her most violent desires and attitudes. But she knew she could channel it. She just had to wait for her chance.
She could take control of this. She could prove stronger than the thing on her finger.
"That idiot thinks he has me. But I've beaten worse things before." Her dream-self said as she raised a chainsaw high, cutting through a swath of imaginary Twos. "AND YOU'LL FALL, JUST LIKE THE REST OF THEM!"
...
...
...
..."Oh great. Two is here. Help me put my clothes back on."
"Why did you ask me to bring HER along? I could understand Lilo, but…"
"I want her to understand what we're…willing to do to break her. Lilo, do you know HOW the Minor Arcana was formed? How the…application process is undertaken?"
"..."
"Well, in exchange for very, VERY large amounts of power and the ability to remain eternally young…you've got to kill family. Close family. One member, to be precise."
"Samael approached me and told me that if I wanted into the Minor Arcana…if I wanted the ability to be immune to control and to control reality, I'd have to kill a family member."
"No, please tell me you didn't…didn't kill them…Kila, Zim, you…you didn't?"
"No, of course I couldn't, I…I love my parents. I…I chose Green, my sister from the past."
"If Kila and Zim ARE your parents, the ones I know so well, then they would have been horrified at the idea of you working for the person who made them suffer so much! They wouldn't have raised you to be so cruel!"
"They didn't raise me to be cruel, but we never could stay in one place long…do you know how some kids move around city after city, state after state, never really making friends, or worse, constantly leaving the friends they DO have? For me…it was TEN TIMES WORSE. I had to move from world to world and whenever we got REMOTELY settled into the hotel or other temporarily dwelling, we had to leave! Working for Samael meant he wouldn't hunt my parents anymore and…It's not like I know Green. She's my sister and I understand mentally that the whole thing is…sad."
"..."
"I OUGHT to know her. I should have spent my childhood with my big sister being there, we should have blown stuff up in the backyard together or played gorka-ball or "Toss the GIR"…we should have been siblings but…but we weren't. Aren't. It IS sad, but…I just don't really know her, and so I don't have many qualms about killing her, though MIYU had NO qualms in killing MALIK! And to get to her mother, she killed her dad too!"
"Azazel has yet to kill Nick, his dear, beloved Grandfather. So perhaps he'll kill his originator instead, he was so close to Nick, In his reality, his "Pee-Paw" was so PROUD of him…he even gave him his-"
"..."
"As for Frequency, lobotomizing Sari, whom he cared for greatly, was his act. Samael was happy to allow him to do the act, it allowed Miyu to replace Sari, who had refused to kill her parents and had taken Samael's gift of immortality. Such a pity…she would have gained Miyu's incomparable battle skills but instead she lost most of her brain."
"And now let us come to the point. You are not going to be rescued. You are going to be tortured here by us, one at a time, and when TWO finishes with you, I…will begin."
"Question: Who shall start?"
"I'll be the first...my power will be good for torturing you-"
With that, Dib awoke from the strange dream. It had felt real. FAR too real. And that person...Two. It had definitely been him. What was going on? Were Two's memories of the past somehow crisscrossing with his slave's head? Possible, he supposed. The Irken could control him from his head, but that meant his mind was open, at least when asleep, to Dib's own...
How strange...
"How odd..." Dib mumbled as he scratched his head, sweeping his legs out of his bed and onto the floor as he made his way to his bureau to get his usual attire out. Dark jacket? Check. Blue t-shirt with a "Meh" face on it? Check. Dark pants? Also check. Glasses...shoes...belt for said pants...check, check, check-
"...is the ring still on my finger?" Dib mumbled, looking down at his hand.
Check.
"...crap." He muttered. "You JERK." He growled, turning his head to look out the window at a cheerily grinning Two, who pushed the window open, letting in the sunshine to the dark blue walls of Dib's cluttered-up bedroom.
"Nice place, it really is...except for the smell." Two admitted as he looked around the bedroom. Indeed, over the years Dib had gotten slightly more advanced equipment from his father for birthday presents...yes, Birthday. Dib's father refused to celebrate Christmas due to his undying hatred of Santa Claus, so he always wasted that day searching for signs of Santa. And beating up Santa's Helpers in the street.
Yeah, it was weird.
A sophisticated computer system on a desk with what appeared to be three dozen drawers, many of them stuffed full of papers on Bigfeet, ghosts and aliens...a pile of laundry in the corner, all dark clothes, blue t-shirts...and several dozen paranormal posters littered the walls, including one of a flying saucer. And not just ANY flying saucer. "Is that from the X-Files series?" Two found himself asking, an intrigued expression coming to his features.
"Yes, the original one. I got it off of Ebay. Cost me two month's allowance too." Dib added, not taking his eyes off the alien scumbag. He wanted to jump through the air and do a karate kick to his head, hey, years of fighting with Zim meant he'd picked up a couple of tricks. But no, no, it was like he was rooted to the spot, and he knew EXACTLY why.
He tried to yank the ring off anew...hopeless. Two chuckled slightly as he snapped his fingers. "I used to watch the show when I was younger. Ahhhh, memories. Moving from dimension to dimension it's still nice to see that the more things change, the more they stay the same. Wait until I tell you about the second movie."
"Second movie?" Dib remarked, blinking stupidly.
"Oh, right, you don't know. Guess this world will never see it once I'm...well..." He chuckled coldly. "Once WE'RE finished. Go on, my little puppet. Eat breakfast. Say goodbye to your father with your sister. Then we begin, and I think I'll start by doing you a favor, and doing what all children dream of doing at one point or another...burning down your school."
"Why would you want to do that?" Dib growled angrily, fingers clenching almost like claws, eyes alit with fury. "What could you POSSIBLY gain from-"
"Do I look like a Bond Villain, my boy? I'm not TELLING you." The Irken chuckled. "But I'm in a good mood, so being the nice person I am, here's the deal. You get until Lunch Period's over. Then I'll take full control...and have you and your sister burn down the school and everyone and everything in it."
The Irken was suddenly up in Dib's face, smiling coldly, one hand gripping his chin, the other tapping Dib's ring. "You have until then to convince the others to get out, and don't bother trying to use your ring to convince them, I'll put it under a lock that won't open until it is finally time to BURN, baby, BURN." The Irken laughed. "Hey, you've been failing to get your classmates to listen for years. Maybe today's the day they'll finally listen!"
"You don't have to do this." Dib said, trying another tack, remembering the dream. Normally he wouldn't EVER negotiate with an alien, not even try, but...this was different. "You don't need to hurt anyone."
"But I do." Two whispered, raising his gloved claws up and clenching them. "...I DO."
Letting off cold-hearted laughter, the Irken jumped back out of the window, strolling off. Dib cursed under his breath. This was one of the few times an alien was out in the open! NO disguise! Why, WHY was nobody outside? Or LOOKING outside? What had their attention? Were they all still ASLEEP?
"So then he shot her, it was weird." The newest arrival on the "Okrah" show said to the titular host, Gaz munching on some cereal as the tall and weirdly surreal Prof. Membrane adjusted the goggles over his eyes, looking at the screen.
"This PULP is what the people are interested in?" He inquired.
"Yeeeeep." Gaz said nonchalantly through a mouthful of "Choco Frosted Sugar Bombs".
"And it's on every morning from 8 to 9? Without fail?"
"Yeeeeeeeeep."
"...what next, dancing panda bears?" Prof. Membrane mused sarcastically, rolling his eyes as he poured himself some coffee. He was getting better at this, he TRIED to be there during the day for breakfast if nothing else. And to think, it only took him a little over 10 years to actually start being somewhat of a good father figure.
"Mornin', Dad." Dib said, entering the kitchen and going to the fridge before shrinking away. Every time he tried to open the fridge, weird things happened. Last time he was SURE he'd heard a sneeze, and the mayonnaise had started yelling "The ketchup did it! The ketchup!" And ANOTHER time his father had left an experiment in there. Something had been living in the fridge.
"...is...the thing still in there?" Dib asked Prof. Membrane, inching away from the fridge and reaching for the knife drawer by the sink, pulling out a large carving knife as Gaz watched with interest.
"No, I'm fairly certain I moved him to the freezer." Prof. Membrane said, shaking his head back and forth. Smiling in relief, Dib wiped his brow and opened up the fridge...and was then forced to hack back several dozen tentacles before slamming the fridge shut. "Or maybe I forgot. Who keeps track?" Prof. Membrane added a moment later, putting a gloved finger to where his lip might have been...it was hard to tell, the white labcoat that he wore had a loooong collar that reached up high. You couldn't even see his nose!
"I'll just make some toast."
"SUPER-Toast?" Prof. Membrane asked expectantly.
"...er, I was thinking cinna-" Dib began to say, before he saw his father's slowly drooping expression. "SUPER-Cinnamon Toast." He quickly changed his mind, nodding enthusiastically.
"EXCELLENT choice, my son!" Prof. Membrane agreed, clapping Dib on the shoulder and moving to the cupboard to get the cinnamon sugar for his boy. "I can only spare 110 more seconds but I'd be HAPPY to get your cinnamon toast started!"
"...thanks, Dad." Dib said quietly. "I...I really appreciate it. And...appreciate you." He murmured.
"What will that thing make me do to the ones I love?"He thought sadly to himself, sitting in the chair next to Gaz as she quietly looked over at him, a faint flicker of genuine regret passing over her face for an instant.
...
...
...
...the Beautiful Angel clutched his mother's paw, looking down at her closed eyes. She looked so...worn and tired. So sad...so lost...so forgotten. She was a sad little doll that had been tossed into a closet to be forgotten about. She lay there in the ornately-draped bed inside of the crystalline palace that hovered high above the clouds, hidden from all sight not by ignorance on behalf of humanity, but by carefully-constructed machinations, creations of Zerinim Two, and of the robot that calmly watched, her face solemn before she turned her red-helmed head away from the sight of her beloved kneeling by his dying mother.
"C'mon...just a few more days, momma." He whispered, his golden/amber eyes gazing down upon his beloved mother. "...just a few more days and maybe we can end all of this...get our world back...and bring all of us back to normal."
"Is she...any better? Any worse?"
The Angel looked up. Zerinim Two's face was normally a window...behind his eyes you could tell he was barely suppressing a furious rage within. Now that window was cracked, but not showing rage...but deep, deep concern and sadness...
Personal loss...one of the greatest causes of rage in the world.
"No. And...and I've been talking with her and...she kept asking about the plan." The Angel went on, sighing as he stood up, brushing his thick slightly-light-brown locks of hair back. "You know that this base Earth is very...unstable. It's got the seeds of potential for all the other stories, but if this plan works, I'm worried what'll happen to the other-"
"Who GIVES a rat's ass?" Two snapped angrily, cutting his hand in the air to shut him up. "Azzy, these people are awful. AW-FUL. I might have been petty and selfish but when it came down to it, I ALWAYS put doing what was right for the ones I loved and for the world I loved at the forefront! Do you think ANY of the so-called "cornerstones" of this Base Earth would?"
"...I don't know." The Beautiful Angel admitted softly, honestly. "...I'd like to believe that some of them would."
"I'm sorry that "some of them" isn't enough." Two spoke quietly, folding his arms. "You know...I saw into Dib's mind when I controlled him. He has a family. He has a father. He has a sister. And his life's been slowly getting better for the past five years. Zim getting more considerate, Gaz becoming more tolerant, his father's actually eating BREAKFAST with them!"
That made the woman in the bed chuckle slightly. "Brekkie? N-no kiddin'? Ame kef, never thought he'd actually..." Her chuckling dissolved into pained coughs as she held her paw over her mouth and Two gently patted her forehead. "I'm...sorry I'm so friggin' useless now."
"It'll be alright, maneem." Two whimpered, kneeling by his mother and kissing her paw as a blue-furred being entered, Two rubbing his eyes as he left the room. The blue-furred being took off his cap, letting his hair fall down as he nervously chewed his lip, gazing at his aunt.
"...are we really gonna go through with this? I want the world back but..." He sighed. "...what he's making Dib do isn't...it isn't right."
"I want you to have this." The Beautiful Angel said, giving the blue-furred bounty hunter a pad of paper he had in a pack slung around his shoulder. "It's notes that mother took. I've read it five dozen times..." He trailed off, taking his mother's paw again.
The blue-furred being chewed his lip again, walking out of the room as he went to stand on a balcony, reading the journal as the robot stepped out on the balcony to join him.
"I shall be meeting with MY personal inductees today." She said in her emotionless tone, holding up the rings she would be using. "They shall join my Corps and I will then bring the two up here so that they may understand why we do what we do. I think he would go along with it anyway...a chance to destroy this world? Have "fun"? How could he say "no"?"
"Will you bother to tell him that once enough of this world's been destroyed by the Cornerstones, he'll get folded into the historical fabric?" The bounty hunter wanted to know.
"That's on a "need-to-know" basis." The robot said, a flicker of amusement passing over her metallic features as she sauntered back into the crystalline palace, leaving the bounty hunter alone on the balcony as he reached into his pocket, pulling out two small rings of his own. One was shining slightly, a chosen partner found, but the other...it's light was dull.
"...why isn't it lit up? What's it missing? WHO is it missing? I might have been the first to get ahold of these, but...can't do this alone..." He murmured, putting them back in his pocket, his paw going over the journal to his side, over an entry stained by teardrops.
...
...
...
...Dib nervously gripped his pants pockets as he looked out the window of the bus, sitting in the back with Gaz as she looked over at him. "Any ideas?" She asked sarcastically.
"...I thought about offering twenty bucks to everyone to leave school right after lunch...but my allowance isn't THAT high." Dib admitted, pulling out his wallet and opening it, a tiny moth fluttering out as Gaz rolled her eyes.
"And just TELLING them the truth won't help either, will it?" She asked. "They'd never believe you. Well, they might if you tried to use that thing in front of them, but-"
"It's not working." Dib mumbled, shaking his fist angrily, the ring uselessly dull. "I'm trying and trying...but he meant it...he shut it off. And after lunch, it turns on...and I turn into a living weapon. He'll drive me like I'm a BATTLEBOT."
Gaz looked around the bus, eyes narrowing darkly. "...Dib...what's wrong with this picture?" She asked quietly, dangerously.
Dib looked up from his lap, glancing around.
"Notice anything...missing?"
Suddenly it hit him. Zim. Skoodge. Gretchen. Nick. All four of them were gone. How strange...how very, very strange...
The bus came to a stop as everyone headed into the school, their new guidance counselor greeting the children at the door. He saw Dib's clearly sullen expression and his gentle green eyes softened. A hand reached out, placed squarely on Dib's right shoulder. "Dib, is something the matter?" Mr. Thildari inquired, one eyebrow raised high over a head with perfectly-combed grey hair.
"...nothing you could help with, sir." Dib told him as Gaz headed inside. "You've been more help than the last guidance counselor I had, but...you can't help me with this."
"Aww, why not try me?" Mr. Thildari asked, moving Dib inside and sitting him down at a bench by a water fountain. "First period bell doesn't ring for a whole seven..." He checked his watch. "...six whole minutes!"
"...I need to get everyone out of the school before lunch. And I mean EVERYONE. Even that creepy janitor." Dib told the guidance counselor, leaning back in the chair, Two's smirk lingering in his mind. "Or else something terrible is going to happen."
"Dib, did a friend of yours say they're going to blow up the school?" The guidance counselor wanted to know, his darkened skin paling slightly.
Dib's eyes went wide.
There it was...
...hope. Why hadn't he seen it before? It was such a simple solution.
"Yes, yes." Dib said fervently. "...except he's not really a friend, he...he said he was going to blow the whole school sky-high after lunch period, Mr. Thildari." Dib informed the guidance counselor, shaking him by his shoulders, back and forth, back and forth.
The guidance counselor looked deep into Dib's eyes, mouth becoming a taut line as if "reading" him. He rubbed his chin thoughtfully before closing his green eyes and letting out a soft, long sigh. "I believe you." He told Dib. "I'll inform the principal and vice principal about this, and I'll have everyone escorted out of the building until the police can search the grounds."
Dib inwardly cheered for joy as Mr. Thildari stood up and headed for the staff wing, punching the air as he headed off to class. He won. He'd WON.
Or at least...so he thought.
"I should have KNOWN you'd cheat." Two muttered furiously, sitting in a tree outside of school, his fists clenching tightly as red energy swirled off his body like sparks off a fire as his own ring swirled around him like a tiny fly, buzzing, buzzing.
"Calling in help like that, you great big cheater...well, you're about to find out that I'm just as petty and immature as you, Dib Membrane..." The Irken chuckled darkly. "I suppose the saying's true. If you want something done right..."
He hopped down from the tree, making his way towards the school as red energy seeped off his body, his footprints leaving behind burning indents within the ground as he chuckled coldly.
"You have to do it yourself."

Who do you think would confess first and how? Zim or Dib?
OKAY SO
I like to think they go through the whole enemies to friends to lovers because I LOVE SLOW BURN and just establishing how they both respect and come to realize how they care about the other is just *chefs kiss*.
As for the actual confession I love both variants!
I feel if Zim had to admit out loud he cares for dib,, maybe even more than a friend,,, more than he probably should,, it would have to be after idk Dib did some IDIOTIC THING (tm) and got himself in danger so Zim has to haul his ass out of there. a classic, emotions run high, and you just SCREAM your love for the other in their stupid dumb lovable face because damn it, you can't lose them!
And for Dib I feel like he’s the type that would just convince himself that it's totally normal to wanna cuddle and sleep in the arms of your former-enemy-turned-bestfried and maybe PLATONICALLY make out with him too. Basically, he’s an idiot and I project. I think he’d need Gaz to kick his ass a bit and would end up confession if Zim pressed him about his constant OBVIOUS pining. AND YET AGAIN we can have a lil yelling about how you love them, maybe throw in some angst about not wanting to ruin the friendship as well, but not being able to fool yourself anymore. You just love them and cant keep it in anymore.
I like to think Zim is quite proud to call Dib his now. Not a big fan of possessiveness bc that stuff can get out of hand fast but a lil “my human” or “my Dib” has me WEAK.

I would of posted this up on here yesterday, after some time after posting it at the other place I posted it...
but then I felt not too great and there was crying too,
it has to do with some stuff that happen on March 2021.
Gaz saying she has a Squeedlyspooch, is of course a reference
to her saying she has a Squeedlyspooch in one of the episodes of Invader Zim.
the type of Game Slave she is playing is called a Game Slave Switch,
which is suppose to be a counterpart of the real world’s Nintendo Switch.
the Pak she has on, didn’t have a Irken bonded to it,
but it ending up on her back is because it sensed or other picked up by it’s digital sensors, that Gaz has traces of Irken DNA in her.
the idea is that while her Paternal Template is her Father,
Professor Membrane.
her Maternal Template Is The Late Tallest Miyuki,
making Gaz a splice clone of both Membrane & Miyuki.
how Gaz ended up being partly a clone of Miyuki,
is that some of Tallest Miyuki’s blood sample was taken,
and it was somehow send to Membrane,
who not knowing it came from a Alien from another world,
he used it with his own blood sample to create his second child,
which ended up being born a biologically female instead of male,
like his first child, Dib.
I like the idea that Gaz wears color contact lenses,
to hide the fact that her eyes are blue instead of the same as her father and brother.
originally her eyes were blue in the pilot,
so even though her eyes became brown later...
I like the idea that her brown eyes, are fake and are just color contact lenses
to make them appear the same as Dib and possibly Membrane’s brown eyes.
Membrane could have brown eyes, and if Gaz was half of Miyuki’s clone,
then her blue eyes would come from her own blue eyes.
the Pak when attaching itself on Gaz upon sensing she has traces of Irken in her DNA, well the outer organic half of one.
the Pak itself scans the Irken part, then creates a double of Miyuki
in a form of a A.I., this A.I. Miyuki is able to appear before Gaz at will
and to one else in the room with them.
knowing she is but a memory of the original Miyuki,
and is just a clone A.I. made up from the Irken DNA that her daughter
Gaz had inherited from her.
Membrane of course wouldn’t have any knowledge he used Irken DNA
when he created his daughter Gaz, as the blood sample was from a unknown person....who might be Irken or one of their allies.
Gaz’s Pak, could give her ability to transform to and from her human form,
and Irken form...her Irken form being a clone of Miyuki,
will of course look slightly like Miyuki, but still having Gaz’s traits.
the reason why Pink-Steven is in this, is because he is still “Steven”,
well the gem half of him, while the now Sans is the formerly Human half.
the two are cleaved forms of the Half-Human/Half-Gem Steven.
if Sans is Steven Quartz Universe,
then he might not be able to keep his Gem where it normally was,
when it ended up no longer a part of his body,
it reformed to the Pink-Steven once again.
in theory, Sans and Pink-Steven could fuse to become “Steven”
but like how most fusions are, it wouldn’t be as long as most fusions,
and if the fusion between Sans & Pink-Steven would be unstable,
the two would unfuse from being the Human-Steven, they were once were together, to becoming just Sans and Pink-Steven once again.
we know that fusion can either be romantic love or just a friendship type love,
Steven’s fusion with his father Greg, could be seen as a Family Fusion.
so Sans fusing with Pink-Steven, to become the Original Steven,
would be like a Sibling Fusion, but still falls under a Family Fusion.
Sans might become protective of his brother Papyrus,
if Greg tries to get to know his son’s new brother.
even if he has become lazy, Sans might not want Greg to get close to Papyrus,
because of somethings that he still hasn’t fully forgiven him for.
even if at the last episode of Steven Universe Future,
Steven seem to be on good terms with Greg,
in the reality where he became Sans at some point after he had moved away.
he could still hold some form of disappointment towards Greg,
because of how he viewed his life with Steven’s Grandparents.
even if some fans might not see Greg as the bad guy in that one episode,
Greg proved that he is truly like Rose, being both Good & Bad,
and if it is anything like how White, Yellow and Blue were about Pink/Rose...
Greg’s parents must of ended up hurting emotionally too.
hope some of you like this drawing, see ya later and stay safe everyone.

I think I’ve got a few things~ WARNING: Spoilers for Zimvoid under the cut!
General:
I headcannon that Zib is actually Pilot Dib! Therefore a lot of my headcannons are based on the pilot Invader Zim show bible.

DIB: Relentless pursuer of the paranormal, he’s the elementary school Fox Mulder. (With slightly more emotional range) Dib is the “Gifted Child” of his school, capable of far more scientifically and intellectually than any of his classmates, and he knows it.
He is the son of the one and only PROFESSOR MEMBRANE, the man responsible for thousands of amazing inventions and miraculous cures that he discovers everyday, as well as the enormously popular kids’s show “ASK MISTER MEMBRANE”.
Aside from being a tireless supernatural investigator, Dib is quite the little scientist/inventor himself, not that his far too busy father ever notices. You see, dad has become numb to amazing scientific discoveries, so he will respond to is son’s giant robot the same way he might to his daughter’s happy father’s day sculpture. This will not do for Dib, who wants to impress his father more than anything in the world.
ZIM’s arrival into Dib’s life provides him with exactly what is needed to trip the wires in his head, setting off his twin obsessions. His “truth is out there” fixation could find no better focus than the kid who is so obviously not from here, and yet no one but he (and a select few others) can even see the truth. And how could dad not be impressed by a son who singlehandedly exposed the evil alien threat and saved the planet from impending DOOM! (What father wouldn’t be proud?! End description]
As you can see, Pilot Membrane was just as neglectful as he was in the show.
Therefore, Zib’s descend into madness begun at a very young age.
Constantly being brushed off by the only parental figure he has took quite a toll on his mental health to say the least.
It doesn’t help that he’s a ‘gifted kid’ in a class that’s not advanced enough for him.
No doubt the pressure of being ‘gifted’ and being Professor Membrane’s son is a lot for a child to bear.
Therefore it’s no wonder Zib ended up so unhinged and borderline creepy. Hell he was so desperate to impress his shitty excuse of a father that he even resorted to experimenting on Gaz!

Aside from his father, Dib could care less what the world at large thinks of him. He is content with his passion for delving into the spooky world of the unexplained.
Still, a guy needs an audience, a confidant of sorts, and it is here that his younger sister, GAZ comes into play, whether she wants to be involved or not.
In addition to her role as the reluctant sidekick, Gaz also finds herself the unwitting test subject for Dib’s gadgets, chemicals, and alien hunting devices.
His experiments aren’t the results of any ill feelings, he does them out of necessity, not having any other place to test things out. He does feel a little guilt of the pain and embarrassment inflicted on her and tries to make up for them in various ways, but unfortunately these “apologies” almost always involve another experiment.
After feeling guilty for putting a test syrum in his sister’s lunch which caused her to uncontrollably dance a merry little jig in her food, he might give her a doll. The thing is, the doll is a prototype mind reading robot which absorbs the knowledge and information about the people who touch it. The doll, of course, goes bad and ends up escaping, spouting off Gaz’s deep, dark secrets to whoever will listen.

Judging by his tendencies to experiment on and deceive Gaz, it’s no wonder she hates him so much.
Adding to this, because experimenting and deceiving the person who’s the closest thing to a friend he has, Zib’s view on friendship is extremely skewed to say the least.
Zib seems to have tunnel vision and will do whatever to takes to achieve his goals even if it means stepping on others to climb to the top.
In spite of all this, I headcannon that if anyone were to praise him, even if they aren’t Professor Membrane, Zib would be over the moon! If that person was the only one who praised him, then Zib would most likely form an obsession with them and would want to impress them as well.
As we all know, when Zib successfully exposed his Zim no one cared, not even his father.
Therefore he snapped and tried to conquer his world, only to destroy it.
I heacannon that having Zim’s PAK stuck to his head has altered what little empathy he had for others to start with.
Zim’s personality had seeped into Zib’s leaving him more insane and delusional than before.
Adding to that, Zib is also insanely destructive and has an obsession with conquering worlds for “the greater good” of course.
With all of this being said, Zib still craves praise and appreciation and would would be overjoyed for another human to give him even the slightest crumb of positive attention.
Being stuck with no one other than Zims to talk to has left Zib incredibly lonely and he secretly craves human contact.
S/O headcannons:
Because he has been without humans to impress for so long,, Zib would have an insanely unhealthy obsession with his S/O (One could call him a yandere)
Zib would do literally anything to please his S/O and make sure they stay by his side no matter what.
Zib can’t handle being left alone for long periods of time and might have a panic attack if he can’t find his S/O.
Of course, being the mad scientist he is, he would most likely install a tracking chip in is his S/O while they slept to he’d know where they were at all times.
Zib would always have cameras on his S/O so that he knows their safe and not trying to leave him.
Zib loves his S/O more than anything else and won’t let them forget it!
He’s a sucker for cuddles and will want them in his arms at all times.
Lots and lots of drool! Zib would carry around a towel so his S/O wouldn’t get soaked.
Adding to that, if his S/O drooled in their sleep he’d get super excited because it’s more proof that they were meant to be with him forever.
Zib would shower his S/O in creepy yet well meaning compliments.
RIP to anyone (Especially Zims) who try to take them from him.
Zib may try to marry his S/O ASAP but if they talked him out of it he’d wait.
That’s all I have off the top of my head.
