Been getting less and less interaction on here lately... not to be that type of blogger but it gets pretty depressing. I think I've bored everyone with my stuff.

i do want tumblr to live. it's the last place on the internet that feels like it fits my brain and my levels of communication/socialization. it's a place where lots of people i love connect and where many find mutual aid and active support, it's where i can get genuinely insightful discussions and readings and art. i don't want it gone. it has its massive issues (very few that are genuinely unique to tumblr as a platform, most are general socmed issues and moderation issues that are very similar in other places--the biggest issue i'd argue is users being able to mass report transfem and other marginalized users and get their blogs automatically deleted) but compared to twitter and co and a lot of old forums and the current state of the internet, it *is* a haven. i want tumblr to live. i want it to stay online and functional as long as it can. i've been here for a little less than half my life now, for the vast majority of the website's own lifespan. there's no place like it and there never will be again--it cannot be reproduced in the current circumstances. it will eventually die i know, all socmed will as venture capital realizes these sites aren't profitable (or making astronomical mountains of money) and as fascist governments impose stricter and stricter laws that strip us of privacy and free speech online. for selfish reasons, i'd like it to continue as long as it can. i've been having a lot of issues socializing both online and offline recently, struggling to even step a foot outside without sensory overwhelm or debilitating anxiety that leaves me crawling when i finally come home. and as much as people sometimes joke about this website being a place for weird shut-in freaks, it really is the only place online or offline that meets my social needs as a weird shut-in freak who cannot get a job or finish a degree or even go out to my local group without layers of clothing and noise canceling headphones and only being able to mask a couple of hours at a time. when i was talking to friends on discord last night i said that the day tumblr announces its actual demise i will grieve it like an actual person who's been a core part of my life, because it's the truth. call me a freak or a loser who needs to go outside more or whatever. been here since 2010-2011. it's literally part of my soul at this point. there's no place like it and when it goes there will be no place to replace it either, because the time for these spaces to exist will be gone. i'll hold on to it as long as i can, yknow.

This is a very random question lol. But would old man Terry let his younger children use electronics? Like what I mean is would he be the type of parent to give his younger child a tablet and just let them use it constantly? Or would he set up rules for how long they can be on it before they have to go find something else to do? Also it was once said on here that you think Terry would definitely snoop through his Beloved's phone, computer, etc, would he do the same to his children at any age, whether they're kids or teens?
I don't know why I get the impression Terry's family, and above all else, his children, wouldn't really have a presence online, you know? I don't think he'd want them to. The public, the media and people at large suppose that he has some children somewhere, but nobody knows much about them, because they're not on Instagram, they're not on Tik Tok, Youtube, Facebook, and they're not really on any site commonly used and if they browse the Internet, it is explicitly through proxies, incognito windows and under the strictest of anonymity. Everyone might just assume they're off at some glitzy private university abroad, which they might just be anyway. Basically, typing their names into any search engine comes up with a bunch of confusing, dead end leads that yield little actual intel outside of Terry himself mentioning them in braggadocios superlatives. It is also hard to pick apart just who his kids would be from a bunch of pictures taken at various charities and functions where he is smiling and embracing a bunch of kids, in fact. Tactical? Maybe so. It is really hard to track down any information and the Web is constantly scraped clean (much like Terry's biography and past misdeeds are) but this is all very deliberate, because Terry is territorial (duh!), Terry is tactical, Terry doesn't want his loved ones used as leverage or endangered and he is selfish enough to where he doesn't wish his children or beloved ever really 'out there', precisely because they are inherently meaningful and pretty much everything to him Might be a bit of personal projection, because Terry is a voyeur and a stalker entirely willing to disrupt marriages, families and use people's children as pawns in his schemes, so he assumes everyone else must too. And some people, reasonably, might.
Of course, his kids all own the most expensive phones.
Tablets, computers, laptops, you name it.
They own pieces of tech before they even officially come out.
But, their lives are different to a great many other children and teenagers to where they're so rich, they aren't even exactly on the radar. Or hey, if they're on any site, they might be on the type that requires a hefty paid subscription and a certain set of 'invite only' connections to enter in the first place. Basically, they're in a world of their own --- that's the way Terry Silver likes it too. Likes to keep it that way.

You are so westernized and have such clearly internalized sinophobia, it's insane. You think comparing Xi Jinping to Winnie the Pooh isn't racist?? You diaspora are so self-hating AHAHAHA. Don't even get me started on all y'alls racist fanon portrayals of aph China as this "morally grey" sneaky conniving selfish bastard with no redeeming qualities. This is why I only get my aph China content from Chinese social media sites, because at least they treat him and themselves with respect LMFAOOOO
I think this is a great opportunity to note how, as diaspora, our opinions and especially our criticisms, are often dismissed by those living in the homeland as “too westernized”; even non-diaspora are thrown under the same ‘too westernized’ label when they criticize “unfairly.”
I’ve seen how a lot of Mainlanders/old guard immigrants are very much unwilling to believe that or hear out how someone could rationally and logically come to see China critically; instead, they’ll make up entirely different reasons why they came to the view they did, reducing these viewpoints to “Westernization”, “self-hatred”, “internalized racism”, and that’s why they don’t need to listen to those people. This is despite the fact that a lot of the time, criticisms and change can only come from within the community, not imposed on from the outside.
Perhaps you see me as an outsider, imposing my values on a community I know nothing about. But even then, the fact that you are extrapolating how I feel about my fatherland, my identity as diaspora, and how connected I feel to Chinese culture solely from the way I interact with the Hetalia fandom and Mister Anime Person Hetalia China, and then degrading me based on those assumptions.... a bit of reach, don't you think? I know I said that I use China to explore my own feelings about a variety of topics, but still, there's a world outside of Hetalia, and I rarely talk abt my internal feelings and how I feel abt my unique place in the world.
(Note: This came in before the previous ask I did)
I discussed how if you want to explore China’s past, you really can’t avoid China doing some unsavory things, as that’s the case with most nations, and that it shouldn’t just be labeled with racism. I’ve also discussed about how I think how a “darker” China can be handled both well and poorly, how China being “darker” should not be the exception in a otherwise light-hearted cast, that your critical eye shouldn't be solely reserved for China. I think I've covered this topic with nuance, hearing out many different viewpoints and acknowledging that there are instances where making China the "dark" character perpetuates stereotypes or shows uneven application of the writer's judgement.
Honestly, if I’m going to be real, someone who treats China with kid gloves and doesn’t give China's actions the same weight as the other characters, and even resorts to “Oh poor China he is always under the control of [Europeans/foreigners/his shitty leaders]”, reducing his autonomy and making him a perpetual victim is much more disempowering to Chinese ppl.
If you’re finding the content you like on Chinese social media networks, I’m glad! It’s always frustrating when one character is being consistently characterized in one way that you’re not a fan of, and it’s great that you’re finding the content u want! But as for people who do want that darker China, it seems quite reductive and very "anti-discussion/communication" if you call these fans all racist if they’re not Chinese, and self-hating if they are, no?

I don't know, why so cruel life? Why inhuman towards everyone? While thinking about the answers to these, I can see in the depths of my mind that it is actually not that bad. Because I know people who are fighting against life. As long as there are these people, who surround themselves with goodness, and whose aim is to serve people with help, love, compassion and many other facts that I cannot count, I seem to see that life does not have much of a say in this field. However, whatever the reason is, whatever the person has done or the sanction, it hurts my heart that people are fighting for their lives under such difficult conditions. When I think of myself, it can be very welcome in my environment that I am writing these articles from my computer to any social networking site from my computer, even if I take a hot coffee and write only by caring about my comfort, regardless of the state of the people outside. Look how elite an individual I have become all of a sudden. I suddenly found myself in what people define as the elite. So did I want this? I will say that people are not what they seem from the outside. Some may ignore everything for their own comfort, but there are some who are "very few in our society" who care about the comfort of others as much as their own comfort. The biggest reason for me to write this article is how did we become so selfish. Why can't we be on the side that aims to serve people, get along with people, at least have a sincere conversation or smile sincerely, surrounded by goodness? Are our desires without reason? While we always want more, why don't we stop for once and try and make do with what is? The reason is obvious, the world order we came to. Both the rapidly developing technology and the desire not to lag behind the "elite" segment around it. I'm sorry, but this situation does not benefit us in the slightest. On the contrary, it makes us more repulsive, selfish, and self-assuming members of society.I don't know, how could there be a way to prevent this. Actually, this is where I'm stuck. I think we are very happy with the way we are. Except for people who live below the standards of society, everyone is quite content. When you say "satisfied", don't think of the satisfaction about being contented. It's just the so-called thankful people that worse things exist for now. I don't know, may God help us...

17. Secrets
Marinette was sure she didn’t have any alarm set for the day. And even if she did, it wouldn’t be this early in the morning. Her video call with Adrien the night before lasted well over a few hours, and it was the second day in a row where she wasn’t sleeping her usual routine. Though tired, she really can’t find herself regretting her actions. She was sure Adrien felt the same, he didn’t want the video call to end so soon and always managed to find something new to chat about.
She thought she could ignore the constant buzzing of her phone, but she’s only clowning herself if she believes that. Marinette tried to use her pillow to cover her head to block out the noise, but to no avail. She tried again with her thick blanket but eventually gave up. She was too disturbed to go back to sleep now anyway. With a grunt, she lifted herself off of her comfy bed and grabbed her phone from the shelves above her.
She eyed the screen and saw the time, as well as the caller.
Alya.
“What?”
“Woah, someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed.”
“Care to check how many times you’ve called me?” Marinette pinched the bridge of her nose. “You know I hate it when my sleep gets interrupted.”
“I’m really sorry Marinette, but this can’t be put off any longer. Why didn’t you tell me? Are there any more secrets you’re hiding from me?”
“Huh? What are you talking about?”
Her phone gave off a chime, and it was a link Alya had just shared. “Access that link.”
Marinette grew wary as she saw the first few words of the link. The name of the biggest gossip magazine was etched within it.
“Uhh, Alya, what’s this? You know I hate reading things from gossip magazines.” She’s pissed that she was woken up for this useless bullshit.
“I know I know, just click it please, it concerns you.” Alya pleaded.
Marinette paused. “Me?”
Her mind imagined the worst-case scenario. Was her secret identity compromised? She didn’t manage to read the rest of the link as she quickly clicked on the link.
The first thing she saw when the site loaded was a video embedded at the top of the page, and the thumbnail of the video was of her and Adrien throwing affectionate gazes at each other, with Adrien’s hand buried deep within her hair. Fear shot through her entire being. When was this?
She further inspected the thumbnail and saw that she was in pyjamas. It was the night they revealed themselves, they had just exited the park and were ready to head home.
“Oh.”
Fuck.
“Marinette? Did you manage to read the article?”
She couldn’t take it anymore, she hastily closed the tab. “No, but I see myself and Adrien on the video thumbnail. Shit...” She admitted, not bothering to hide since Alya already saw it.
“Are you okay?”
“What did the article say?” She whispered.
“They were speculating if you’re Adrien’s new fling— ”
“The fuck?”
“—or romantic partner, but they don’t know who you are, so you’re safe.”
“But he’s not! I need to make sure he’s okay.” She was jumping out of her bed when Alya’s voice stopped her in her tracks.
“Marinette, I think that might be a problem. Herds of reporters are situated outside the Agreste mansion.”
She felt a vein pop in her temple. “Are you there?”
“What? No! The clip is rolling live on TV.”
She switched on her TV and sure enough, the mansion was surrounded by reporters.
“Adrien...” Blood drained from her face as she looked at the sheer number of reporters outside his house. Her vision started to blur. He was no doubt going to blame himself for this again.
“Marinette?”
“A-Alya, I’m sorry, I need some time alone. T-Thank you for telling me,” she stammered.
“Don’t sweat it. And I’m sure you have reasons for keeping your secrets, I won’t pester you now, but I hope to get an update on the both of you once this is over. And please promise me you’ll tell me about it later.”
Comfort flooded her chest, “Of course, Alya. Thank you so much.”
Marinette hung up and was left alone with her own thoughts.
Thinking back, Adrien was acting slightly weird after they got onto the streets. He had asked her to transform out of nowhere. Was that when he had realised they were being followed? Why didn’t he tell her? Marinette browsed her messages and calls, there was nothing she missed from Adrien.
Why was he pushing her away again? Even after the reveal. Why isn’t he opening up to her?
She wiped her tears. This is no time to be questioning his decisions. She needed to save her kitty as soon as possible. He must be feeling devastated dealing with this all alone.
18. Can’t Transform
Adrien was curled up by the side of his bed, his phone all blown up with notifications, calls, and messages from gossip news agencies and the public. It was till the point that he had to reconfigure his “Do Not Disturb” function to stop all the ringing and buzzing that wrecked his phone. He was so overwhelmed that he disabled everything.
His phone was currently by his side, his chat with Marinette on the display. Marinette was online earlier on, and he was happy to see that, but she was gone as soon as she came. Adrien really wanted to ask her for help, but he was sure that she’s pissed with him right now. He didn’t have the right to ask since he brought this upon himself. He just hoped she forgave him for allowing her face to appear on the news.
Marinette (09:01): chaton?
A chime brought his attention back to the phone. Adrien saw her message, but he just stared.
Marinette (09:01): chaton i can see you online
Adrien (09:02): hi
Marinette (09:02): can you call me?
Marinette (09:02): my calls can't seem to get through
Adrien (09:03): i muted everything
Marinette (09:03): oh
Marinette (09:03): then can chat call me?
Adrien (09:03): i can't transform
Adrien (09:04): i don't want to risk them seeing the transformation
Marinette saw that he typed and stopped a few times. She’d be patient with him, he’s allowed to take as long as he needed.
Adrien (09:06): i'll call
Adrien (09:06): but can you give me a while?
Marinette (09:06): of course :)
Perhaps it was her staring at her screen, knowing that Adrien was there. Perhaps she was solely focused on seeing something happen on her screen. Or perhaps she managed to will Adrien into calling her, because he eventually did. And it didn’t feel like it had been 10 minutes.
“Adrien!”
The line had gone quiet. So quiet that she was about to remove her phone from her ear to check if the call had ended when a voice spoke through the speakers.
“Hey, Marinette.”
He sounded apprehensive. Was she coming off too strong?
“How are you feeling?” Her voice gentler this time.
He still took a while, but it was definitely faster than the one before.
“Overwhelmed.”
“Okay, okay. Are you okay with waiting a while more?”
Is Marinette coming to get him?
“I guess.”
“Nice. Do you think you can transform after the herd of reporters is gone?”
“I think so.”
“Very good. Would you be comfortable with sleeping in my house for a few days?”
Adrien wasn’t sure if he wanted to stay with Marinette after all this was over. What if she interrogated him? Was he ready to tell her why he did what he did? The whole truth? What if she leaves? Or rather, kick him out after she learnt the truth. He didn’t want that. Enough people had already left him. He doesn’t want any more of that. They can’t leave if he wasn’t there in the first place.
But Adrien wanted to be with Marinette. Even more so after what his actions had led to. He may be selfish right now, but he wanted the affirmation that she’d still have him, even after he messed up. He didn’t want to be alone after this ordeal. She has proved repeatedly that she wouldn’t abandon him. And right now, she’s inviting him into her life, willingly.
Justifiably, Marinette is in no wrong here, but Adrien found himself finally believing what she had promised. It might be that words of assurance could only go so far for him. But certainly, it was her actions that solidified his belief in her.
“Mhm.” He sniffled.
“Awesome!”
Adrien wanted to explain. He wanted her to know how much this meant to him.
“My lady, I… I—”
“It’s okay, Chaton. Your safety and wellbeing take precedence.”
“W-Wait! Are you going to hang up?”
19. Trust
“Do you trust me?”
“Always,” he answered so effortlessly.
“Then yes, I’m going to hang up. But I guarantee you that you’ll see me soon enough,” Marinette assured. “Would that be okay?”
“Yes, my lady.”
“Thank you, Chaton. Wait for me.”
They said their goodbyes, and Marinette waited for a while before she hung up. She got to her feet and went to work straight away.
.
“What is he doing in there? Can’t he see us? Just come out already!” One of the reporters threw his papers on the ground, getting agitated from standing outside the Agreste mansion for at least 2 hours. “This is taking far too long!”
“Hey! Look!”
He noticed someone pointing upwards and he lifted his eyes.
Soon, the herd of reporters directed their collective attention and cameras to the top of the mansion. They were so determined on getting any footage they could on the occupant of the building that all but one of them failed to realise that Ladybug and Chat Noir had appeared on the rooftop, with Chat Noir piggybacking their target.
“What is this?” Ladybug shouted at the crowd beneath her feet. “Is this any way to treat Paris’ Golden Boy? His love life is none of your concern!”
And with that, she jumped away from the persistent sound of cameras clicking coming from the crowd. Chat Noir followed without missing a bit, with Adrien hugging him tightly.
When Ladybug and Chat Noir had disappeared out of their sight, the media quickly got onto their vans and chased them down.
As the commotion was happening, Marinette texted Adrien to ask for the directions to access his room.
Adrien (09:32): the windows to my room are open. you'll see it once you get to the back of the mansion
She made sure the crowd had dissipated entirely before emerging from her hiding spot from the surrounding rooftops; she then made her way towards the mansion.
Sure enough, she found herself swinging into his room within seconds.
Adrien’s room was one of the biggest rooms she has ever seen in her life when she landed. It was at least twice the size of her previous bedroom, so big and spacious with various game areas across the first floor and a large library of books and CDs on the second.
She was still admiring his expansive room when she heard tiny sniffles coming from the side of the bed.
Snapping her head towards the bed, she spotted Adrien hugging his knees, head buried within his arms. “Adrien.”
Adrien lifted his head and saw her watching him.
He stood and wiped his tears, trying to smile. Turned out, wishing she was by his side was one thing. Having her actually be here with him was an entirely different thing.
Lady Rouge? Rena Bug? Marinette did not look happy. She was biting her lower lips before she started walking towards him.
Adrien began moving backwards bit by bit, anxious about her reactions towards him.
“Tikki, Trixx, Separation.”
Was that disappointment in her eyes? He didn’t know. Ladybug was quickly catching up to him and when he saw that she had raised her hand, he shut his eyes.
He was expecting some reproaching from her. He was expecting some pounding on his chest, or even a slap to his face. But all he felt was a hand wrapped around his head, settling itself within his hair and pulling him into a hug.
“I’m so glad you’re okay,” she breathed.
Adrien opened his eyes in startlement, before relaxing into her. Ladybug’s other hand was on his back, pressing him into her. And he circled his arms around her waist, returning the gesture.
“My lady, I’m covered in snot and tears right now.”
“Yeah, you’re disgusting.” But she pulled him in even more and tightened her hold on him nonetheless.
20. Save Me
Adrien wished he could’ve stayed in Ladybug’s embrace longer, she was so full of warmth and love, unlike the mansion. But he needed to pack his clothes for his impromptu stay at Marinette’s over the next few days, to avoid the scandal they were currently in.
Ladybug was exploring his huge room, but he couldn’t see her from the bathroom, so he assumed she was checking out his vast collection of books and CDs on the second floor.
He didn’t like how quiet it had gotten.
“My lady?”
Within seconds, Ladybug dropped from right in front of the bathroom door, face worried. “Adrien?”
“Could you… um, could you stay on the first floor?” He squeaked.
She relaxed and chuckled. “Of course, mon Chaton.” She looked around a bit. “I’ll just take a look around the arcade stations.”
He nodded before continuing his packing. It was quiet again, but at least he knew she was exploring on the first floor.
“Adrien?” He lifted his gaze from his bag and saw Ladybug standing beside his bed, pointing at it. “Can I sit on it?”
“Of course! Go ahead! I don’t see why not.” Surprise laced in his voice by her question.
“Just wanted to make sure,” she replied cheekily before she bounced on his bed.
Adrien was about done with his packing, but he didn’t want Ladybug to be bored.
“My lady, what happened to those illusions?”
Ladybug widened her eyes. “I was sure that the media would follow those illusions, so I had them travel to the outskirts of Paris before making them disappear right before their very eyes.” She then scratched the back of her head and smiled sheepishly. “That was the plan. But uh, the illusions should be gone as soon as I reverted to just being Ladybug.”
Adrien had finished packing and was walking out of the bathroom, bag in his hand. “So, they might be back?”
Ladybug immediately stood and walked to his windows. “I don’t see or hear any crowd outside. So I guess they are still trying to figure out where those illusions went.”
Adrien came up to her, Trixx and Plagg in his hands. “Then, for extra precaution, why not use Trixx’s power again to conceal ourselves?”
Ladybug’s eyes shone with understanding. “That’s a great idea! I didn’t think of that!”
When Ladybug called for her unification, her outfit was similar to Rena Rouge’s. Her dark hair was tied up in a thick ponytail with the ends highlighted in white. A tail was also added to her suit. “Come on, let’s go!”
But Adrien hadn't called for his transformation, and she raised an eyebrow.
“Uhh— right!” Adrien blushed and quickly turned around to retrieve his bag from the side of his bed before calling for his transformation.
“Oh, I see,” a smug look on her pretty face. “You just wanted to see me in this.”
Chat Noir was still blushing when he returned to her side. “Can you blame me? You look amazing in this. Can’t I admire how stunning my girlfriend looks?”
It was her turn to flush. “You can, you absolutely can.” She turned away, ready to use her flute when Chat Noir grabbed her hand.
“In fact, you look beautiful all the time.” He gazed into her eyes. “Marinette, for the plan you concocted to save me, thank you.”
“Anything for you, Chaton.” She grinned.
Chat pulled her into a hug and squeezed. His hand was on the back of her head, pressing her into his neck. “Thank you, so so much.”

Reasons why I ship LawLight
It's been a year since I last watched Death Note and up to this day, it still remains on my TOP 5 FAVORITE ANIME (alongside Attack on Titan, Daiya no Ace, Gintama, and the Inazuma Eleven franchise).
Be as it is, the ship between L and Light holds a special place here in my heart. And today I want to talk about the reason why I am head over heels for this painstakingly beautiful ship.
Tumblr media
For a quick heads-up. "LawLight" is a non-canon ship pair from Death Note. The two person involved are Yagami Light also known as "Kira" and the Great Detective L otherwise known as Ryuuzaki. I believe that their trope belongs to the enemies to lovers. They are also the most famous ship for the said fandom.
I admit that I am a certified fujoshi. So when scenes like walking together under falling sakura leaves, going to a cafe for their date to confirm their suspicions about each other's identity, and was even CHAINED 24/7 were shown, I can't help but ship them despite the fact that they are LITERALLY TRYING TO KILL AND CATCH EACH OTHER.
Actually for me, what makes this ship so appealing is their cat and mouse chase. A criminal and a detective. The spark and sexual tension apparent in their battle of wits. Who shall fall first? Who shall emerge victorious? And I firmly think that this dynamic between them is also one of the biggest factors why this anime/manga became such a success.
In the eyes of a shipper, some of their interactions are seen as a potential fuel to lit a burning flame called romance. Another thing, they also complement each other.
Why? Well, let's look at Yagami Light first.
Tumblr media
Light used the notebook to alleviate his boring mundane life. Because of his high IQ, normal things don't ellicit excitement for him. Also, always hearing about everyday crimes, his strong sense of justice tells him to rid the world of this disgusting humans who continue to cause chaos for the world. So, immediately grabbing the death note as an opportunity to make his ideals a reality, KIRA IS BORN.
Of course, no matter how good the intention is. Taking lives is still a murder. And the fact that Light wanted to take advantage of the situation to become GOD OF THE NEW WORLD, it's true essence is slowly turning into selfishness. Just like any ordinary case, the police have taken interest, no, it's more accurate to say that they were FORCED to take interest. With no more cards to play, the worldwide police decided to ask help from their trump card. Yes, the world's greatest detective L.
Tumblr media
Hiding in a single gothic letter and synthetic voice, Light had found his other half. The yin to his yang. Why you ask?
It's simple. L is the only person who can match his intelligence. Who can see through his barrage of lies and alibis. He was the only one who doubted him, the only one who almost sent him to his doom.
He was the ultimate obstacle Light needed to overcome. Because of this thrill, of this danger, Light found true challenge. Other than the joy of killing criminals for his dream, battling with L brought an unexpected bliss deep within his soul. Because of L, his once dull world had been painted with complicated colors. L is the only one who can understand Light.
He is his enemy.
He is his Equal.
He is his captor.
Tumblr media
The same goes for L.
Being the number 1 detective in the world, I bet that cases has become repetitive for him. With his astounding deduction skills, he could immediately solve a case while eating his favorite sweets. Thus the appearance of Kira is a mystery for him.
A highly difficult game for him to solve and win. As he said himself, he is childish and he hates to lose. So in order to win, he's given away his identity. He steps out of his shadows and approached Kira himself. Maybe it's a call for responsibility, a call for justice, or a call for his pride, whatever his reason is, he's willing to risk his life.
When he made contact with Light, he had realized that Light is the only other person who can see through him. His trials, his tests. Light never fails to amaze and surprise L. He had even considered him his successor, even though he only used it to test Light, with the latter quickly grasping the subtle accusation.
He is his enemy.
He is his captee.
He is Equal.
No one knows if their relationship had gone beyond detective and a criminal. If they ever had a genuine conversation. One without lies and hidden intention.
Tumblr media
A talk as L and Light.
Looking at a watcher's perspective. A single particular scene showed a glimpse of their relationship. The rooftop and foot massage scene who fueled a lot of LawLight shippers.
Tumblr media
"The bells are unusually loud today." - L
At the rooftop, L had asked Light if he had ever uttered a truth once in his life. With Light regaining his memories, L knows that this attempt is futile, yet he still tries. And maybe, even held a little hope that Light would surrender himself.
Light on the other hand, as expected caught the meaning of his question, within that short silence, he contemplated his answer even if it's just for mere seconds. But because Light had already steeled his resolve, he chose to lie.
He had already made a choice.
And that is to kill L.
And L himself knows it.
At the stairs, an intimate scene between them is shared. Both are drenched in the rain, then L suddenly offered a foot massage to Light. For non-shippers, they say that it's a Bible reference.
Tumblr media
But for people like me, it's simply nothing but a bittersweet moment where for once, emotions are stirred and shared.
The atmosphere, their longing stares.
Light drying L's hair.
The exchange of words.
It truly is a very painful and touching picture.
Tumblr media
"It will be lonely isn't it? You and I will be parting ways soon".
Tumblr media
L is known for not showing his true emotions. Yet in here, he bares everything. From the way he looks at Light and that slight curve on his mouth, like he's very regretful of something. Maybe it's because he wasn't able to personally give him the verdict or it can also be what ifs and what would they have become if they didn't meet in this kind of circumstances.
On Light, he looked shock and somewhat sad. They say it was an act, but the knowledge of his arch-nemesis soon dying, the one who has been with him since this "chase" started, the one being who gave him thrill and pushed him to his limits, the one who for months, was chained with him 24/7, the only one who could stand as his equal, the one who made him feel, losing that person will surely give you mixed emotions, and I believe that the sadness there is genuine, even though it had been overshadowed by his delight for victory.
It was only a for a short moment but for once, they've dropped all facades as they face each other as L and Light, not Ryuuzaki and Kira.
After L's death, Light is shown to have lose some of his sanity. I've read in a site before telling that L was the one who's holding his ground. And with him gone, with the thrill of danger gone, Light suddenly found himself at loss. He spent months trying to rid of his enemy. His disappearance had caused a void in his heart.
I remember a certain scene where Light imagined L sitting at his usual chair. His eyes were dead and devoid of color. That's where he also started to lower his guard down. For him, L is his only formidable opponent, his other half. He is his equal. It proves with the appearance of Near, where Light says that he's far inferior to L. That he doesn't deserve to wear his mask.
Light had come to respect L.
Tumblr media
In Light's final moments, he sees L. A hallucination some says. But they're missing a point here.
The fact that L showed up, either his soul or an imagination, means that he had become an important figure to Light. Maybe he was thinking what L said during the times that they are wearing the chains.
"As long as we are wearing this chains. You and I are bound to share the same fate. If you die, I die." - L Lawliet
Yes, the chains are gone, physically. But because Light had allowed L to become an important piece of his life, he had secured the chain for L to held him captive for as long as he's alive...and if you let your imagination wild, even after death.
This are the reasons why I fell in love with this ship.
They're both broken.
One is blinded by power.
One had secluded himself from the outside world.
Their chase will never be forgotten. A game that only the two of them understood knowing from the beginning that they will never achieve a happy ending. This painful and bittersweet ship will go down in history.

Assassination Classroom - Over The Moon AU
I have watched "Over The Moon" on Netflix recently and have the amazing idea. What if we wrote an Over The Moon AU for Assassination Classroom?
Tumblr media
Here is my concept of the Over the Moon AU. Please bear with my long ramblings.
-------------
Thousand years ago, Koro became fatally ill due to an incurable disease. His beloved wife, Aguri, loved her husband very much and decided to find a way to heal her dying husband.
So she travelled far and wide to search the legendary Tree of Life, a magical tree that bears a legendary magic peach that only blooms and grows once in a thousand years, which could heal all diseases, no matter how incurable it is. After weeks of searching, she found the tree, and saw the magic peach, glowing with power. Desperate enough to heal her dying husband, she plucked the peach, went home, and made a healing elixir that could heal Koro.
She made Koro to drink the potion and feel the healing power of the elixir, so Koro will be healed. As expected, Koro had recovered from the disease and they lived happily.
But the happiness was short-lived. Aguri found the painful truth about the magical peach too late.
Shin (the Second Reaper), the young and talented village healer, told her the painful truth about the peach. The one who intakes the magic peach can be cured by any illness that plagues him or her, but there is a catch, a curse. The one who intakes the peach can't die, and will be immortal forever.
Aguri clung on her husband’s hands tightly, as she held on his fleeting embrace. He was floating upwards, a mysterious force pulling him away from Aguri's loving arms. The curse has started, and Koro was taken away from her. She cried and cried, holding Koro's hands tight, but she can't cling to him any longer. She let go him, her hands trying to reach her beloved, but Koro was now far away, floating to the glowing moon above.
Aguri was grief-stricken and feels regret over the loss of Koro, so every day and every night, she would offer mooncakes and sweets to an altar she made for her husband. She would pray and sing, so Koro could hear her voice, hoping that she would reunite with him soon.
Unfortunately, Aguri is a mortal and have a short lifespan. She never remarried, as she still loves Koro very much. The tried everything, she prayed and plead and she went to the Tree to find another peach to eat so she could be reunited with Koro, but the peach only grows once in a thousand years. She fell ill and died alone at a young age, without Koro in her embrace.
The now-immortal Koro was alone in the moon, trapped forever in rock and lunar dunes. He cried for the loss of Aguri, as his crystal tears fell to the ground, giving life to the rocks that became his faithful subjects. The rocks turned to humanoid teenagers, which will help him cope with the loneliness and longing for his beloved Aguri.
Every 13th day of the third month (March 13th), people celebrates the tale of Koro and Aguri by eating and offering mooncakes, while telling the children about their tragic tale. The moon would shine so bright at this time, forming a crescent shape as the reminder of Aguri's love for Koro.
Thousands of years after, there was a boy named Nagisa Shiota. He lived a happy childhood, his father would tell him stories, while little Nagisa and his mother, Hiromi, would listen to the tale under the moon. Their favorite story was the tale of Koro and Aguri. When Nagisa was 8, Nagisa's father gives him an old necktie with a crescent moon emblem and a golden moon pendant.
They were very happy, until Nagisa's father died due to illness, leaving his mother depressed and insane, as she started to think that Nagisa was his daughter she never had. She began to have delusions of a happy family, and became abusive to her son, punishing him if he never did her wishes.
Until the day they met the Asanos.
When Nagisa was 14, Hiromi met Gakuho Asano, a widower, and it was love at first sight. After a year, they are planning to get married, and Hiromi began to revert back to her old self, although she was a little abusive to Nagisa.
Gakuho has a son, Gakushuu. He is the same age as Nagisa, and he was very different from the meek Nagisa. He was always serious, competitive and kinda proud, and Nagisa had difficulty getting along with him.
Nagisa was tired of this life. He still wanted his father, and hated the fact that his mother easily replaced his father by Gakuho in her heart. So he wanted to meet Koro, the god of the moon, to prove to his mother that love is not replacable, and it is forever. He had a plan: to build a rocket to the moon.
With a little knowledge of Science and determination, he successfully made the rocket, but he never expected Gakushuu joining his plan to meet the moon god, let alone met Koro in personal. Nagisa lost control of the rocket due to shock, crashing it.
Nagisa was pissed when he found out Gakushuu joined him in this plan. Gakushuu argued that he silently help Nagisa solve the equations needed for the rocket, as some of the calculations Nagisa did are slightly wrong, and can cause trouble for Nagisa later on. Also, Gakushuu wanted to see if this Koro is real all along, as he was still skeptical about the story.
They were arguing when they were suddenly taken away by flying... Octopuses? Gakushuu loses his shit.
And do I have to tell you Koro was always holding concerts at his kingdom? Can you imagine that?
Gakushuu and Nagisa meets Koro, the god of the moon. Nagisa was ecstatic and took a photo with the moon god, while Gakushuu was still mumbing how this is possible. It was peaceful until Koro demanded about a gift to them. The two humans were confused about the immortal's demand. They don't know about the gift.
So Koro had stolen the picture of Nagisa and him as a ransom, as he announced to all his subjects that anyone who can find the gift before the last sliver of moonlight in the orb fades, their greatest wish will be granted. Of course, all of Koro's subjects were excited, so they rush out to find the gift. Nagisa wanted to get the picture so he ran outside, leaving Gakushuu looking at Koro with a glare, suddenly challenging the moon god, demanding about the picture. Koro agrees.
They settled the fight by doing a quiz bee. Two girls, a blonde named Rio, and a purple-haired girl named Ritsu, held the contest, while the Gakushuu and Koro were the contestants. They answered questions with precision, and even Koro was amazed of the strawberry-blond kid's intelligence. But they still continued on, Koro was starting to get annoyed by the kid's knowledge. Until the final question.
Koro mocks that a measly kid like Gakushuu can't answer the final question, as Koro was a thousand years older than Gakushuu and more knowledgeable. Gakushuu, having a sharp mouth than anyone, retorts and mocks the moon god about the past.
"You are more knowledgeable than me, you say to me... But why you never stopped Aguri from picking that magic peach, making and letting you drink that potion that made you who you are now? You're selfish, because if you are knowledgeable as you said you are, I think you know the peach can make you immortal! Aguri was fooled by you!"
Koro was aghast about the accusations and he was pissed, unable to concentrate, leaving Gakushuu to be the victor. Koro screamed angrily that Gakushuu and Nagisa would never get the picture until the gift was given to him, breaking the deal. He left the room with Rio and Ritsu (who was apologizing), locking Gakushuu inside.
Koro was in despair, his heart was desperate to find the gift. Okuda and Takebayashi, the royal chemists, were busily mixing potions that will be needed for the ritual. Irina, one of Koro's two trusted advisors, advised the moon god to calm down. Koro replied that he can't bear to calm down, as the time is nearly up, and he can't reunite with Aguri if the gift was not yet found. Irina assured that they will find it, that Koro will gonna reunite with Aguri. The moon god smiled gratefully at Irina as he looked at what the chemists do.
After a few moments, Okuda announced that the potion for the ritual was ready. The gift was the only one left needed. Koro sadly smiled as he looked at the orb.
Nagisa went with a team of bounty hunters, Terasaka, Muramatsu, Yoshida and Hazama. They fought and escaped the obstacles, as they reached the crash site, finding for the gift. Nagisa started to lose hope, praying for a sign. As he looked around, he noticed a sliver of pale light hitting the necktie. Nagisa widened his eyes as he realized that the necktie was the gift, and happily shows it to the bounty hunters. The bounty hounters, however, had interests for Koro to grant their wishes, bullies Nagisa into giving them the gift. Nagisa gives them a gift, but he was pushed by Terasaka, while his team laughed behind him. Suddenly, he was saved by a red-haired boy and a green-haired girl.
Terasaka calls the new arrivals outcasts as the redhead smiled like a demon, "You both were exiled by the great Koro-sama, why are you here?"
The redhead shrugged and threatened them in a conscending tone to give the necktie back to Nagisa, while the green-haired girl smiled menancingly, sending Terasaka's team shivers down their spine. Terasaka suddenly ran towards his bike with the necktie in his hands, and rode away, along with his team. Nagisa was shocked, before the redhead grabbed his hand and ran to a big pond where they could catch up with Terasaka. They reached the pond and rode on the huge toads's backs back to Kunugigaoka, as the toads like to feed in the lake near Kunugigaoka. Nagisa asked for their names.
"It's Karma and this is Kaede, by the way. You?"
"I’m Nagisa."
"Hi, Nagisa!"
Nagisa remembered what Terasaka said, and asked about it. Karma sighed as he reveals that Koro exiled him due to a song Karma sang to him about moving on. Before the exile, Karma was one of Koro's trusted students. Nagisa find out that Koro loved teaching, and Karma was one of the lucky Kunugigaokans who are the moon god's students.
Nagisa also found out the Kunugigaokans are born through Koro's magic tears. That means Karma practically came from the moon god's tears.
Kaede, on the other hand, was Aguri's actual younger sister. Nagisa was confused how she was with Koro when she was supposed to be mortal, while Aguri can't, Kaede revealed that she is actually a spirit, kinda like a shikigami, who died years after Koro was floated away to the moon, and her spirit remained to accompany Koro as his companion. Nagisa wondered why it was not Aguri, and Kaede explained that Aguri was the one who picked the peach, making it part of the curse Koro was suffering. The curse was not only to make Koro immortal, but it also affects Koro and Aguri's fate. They can't be together happily, even how many lifetimes they will be in. She was also exiled with Karma after telling Koro that a ritual to bring Aguri back would possibly not work.
Nagisa realized that Koro was unfair giving the two of them the punishment of exile for just saying a helpful comment. Nagisa spoke that he never expected Koro to be an arrogant and selfish prick, as his father told him before that Koro was graceful like a swan landing on a quiet lake, full of kindness and hope. Karma replied that Koro just missed Aguri, and love can make you desperate to do anything that may be impossible.
Nagisa smiled bitterly and agree. Kaede asked about Nagisa's family life and the bluenette told the entire life story. The two listened attentively to him. He even told them about his mother and Gakuho being remarried, and Gakushuu.
Karma smiled, "I hope I will experience having a sibling. Well, a sibling who could share my hobbies of pranking other people..."
Kayano nodded as she spoke with a cheerful voice, "Having a sibling is a fun experience though! Aguri was sweet, and she was a good sibling. Besides, we were alone for a thousand years, since we were exiled by Koro-niisan from the castle."
Karma smiled, "It is not bad to move on. You can remember them forever, cherish their memories, but you can't stay in the past and be stuck. Otherwise, you will feel alone forever."
Kaede had also remarked one fact about Koro.
"When he was overwhelmed by great emotions, the entire kingdom of Kunugigaoka will be affected, since he was the one who made the kingdom from scratch. In fact, when he was striken by great grief, Kunugigaoka will plagued by darkness, as Koro's happiness powers the entire kingdom's bright lights. The last time he was striken with great grief was the time he first landed on the moon, long before the kingdom of Kunugigaoka was made."
The trio catch up to the bounty hunters, after they reached the kingdom of Kunugigaoka, Nagisa seeing the orb on the castle glowing faintly, signalling they were running out of time. Terasaka and the gang tried to stop the trio from getting the tie, but the trio were persistent. They fought and fought, Kaede was jumping like a rabbit, Karma was happily punching Terasaka, with Nagisa watching at them in horror and shock, but in between their fight, the tie was accidentally destroyed. The bounty hunters stopped fighting them and proved that the tie was now useless.
Meanwhile, Gakushuu finds a way to escape the room and wanders around the place, looking for something to use for defending himself while looking for the photo. While finding, he met Isogai, a kindhearted Kunugigaokan who happily helped him find the photo. Along with Isogai is Maehara, a flirty blond haired Kunugigaokan.
Nagisa looked at the tattered tie in despair. "It was my father's gift to me, along with this pendant I am wearing."
Karma looked at the pendant and remarks that the pendant seems familiar. Nagisa looked at Karma in confusion, as Karma shrugged, thinking that he may be wrong. Nagisa looked at the pendant and saw something in it. The moon seems like it was actually part of something.
Kaede squinted at the golden pendant and commented, while smiling wistfully, "I remember that Aguri-neechan has that similar necklace thousands of years ago, a full moon necklace. Koro-niisan too have a similar pendant too, although it was a crescent moon pendant. He was still wearing it even now, after a thousand years. I remember that if you combined those two necklaces, it will become a whole moon, like a damn puzzle. It was their version of a wedding ring."
Karma laughed, "Yeah, I remembered that pendant. Koro-sensei showed it to me back when I was still his beloved student. He was so protective of it that he cried like a waterfall when I hid that pendant playfully that time. I remember that is how Itona-kun and Ritsu-chan was born."
Nagisa stood there, pondering over their tale. Being a perceptive person, all the pieces were put to place.
"Like a puzzle. The pendant is like a puzzle. The gift..."
Nagisa's blue eyes widened as he had realized that the tie was not the gift, but the pendant. The pendant that was with him all along!
Karma and Kaede smiled happily for Nagisa while Nagisa looks at the orb above the castle, there is only a sliver of moonlight left. Nagisa knew that there is little time left so he ran along, with Karma and Kaede following him.
While running inside, Gakushuu and Nagisa bumped to each other, and Nagisa hugged Gakushuu in happiness. Gakushuu was shocked as he tried to pull back (he kinda hates hugs), but Nagisa tightly gripped him.
Meanwhile, Maehara and Isogai looked at Kaede and Karma in apprehension, as all Kunugigaokans know that these two are exiled by Koro-sama due to personal reasons. Karma playfully greeted them while Kaede waved back.
Suddenly, a tall man came in, looking at the scene with a serious look. Everyone looked at him, even Nagisa who was pulling away from annoyed Gakushuu.
"Karasuma-sensei!" The four teens greeted the man, who was named Karasuma. Karasuma is Koro's second trusted adviser, along with Irina. Karasuma spoke in a serious voice, "I know you have the gift, the octopus is waiting for you in the main room."
Nagisa was confused why Koro, the god of the moon, was called octopus by Karasuma. Karma, remarked that Koro has great affinity with octopuses as Aguri loves octopuses. In fact, he was sometimes called "octoperv" by some people close to the moon god, due to his hidden pervert nature. It was a cute nickname for the immortal moon god.
Nagisa raised an eyebrow, he never knew about the fact that Koro was like some ordinary male, sometimes a perverted creep.
Koro was in the middle of the room, waiting for the gift, with the Kunugigaokans looking at the new arrivals with concern, happiness and relief. He raised his weird-looking eyebrow to Karma, who smiled like a demonic entity, and Kayano, who awkwardly waved at him. Kayano then looked at Koro with a concerned look, reminding him that it may not work and her opinion still stands, and the moon god smiled sadly, as he walked towards Nagisa.
Nagisa held the golden moon pendant to the immortal and Koro gently picked it up from the bluenette's hands. He looked at the pendant wistfully and removed his own crescent moon pendant from his neck and connected the two necklaces together. It fits like a puzzle piece. Takebayashi poured the potion over the necklaces and the necklaces glowed brightly.
"As two halves can be whole again, this necklace was now complete, like our love. Now, you can come back to me... Aguri."
The castle scenery changes, as it morphed into a clearing, with lots of trees around the place. There is a house in the middle, and Koro, in simple yukata he was wearing back when he was still mortal, was standing in front of the house. Nagisa, Gakushuu and the Kunugigaokans were looking from far away.
The door of the house opened, it revealed a short haired woman wearing a fancy yukata. She was short, with onyx eyes tinged with brown hues. Her short hair was adored with little hairclips and jewelry that was common for women in her time. Nagisa and the Kunugigaokans gasped from far away as they saw the woman. They saw the woman on the paintings of the castle, paintings where it was depicted Koro with his beloved wife. The woman was Aguri, the woman in the paintings and Koro's beloved wife.
It was a tearful reunion, with Koro looking at his love with a longing look as he spoke how he had missed her, and they were now reunited after a thousand years. Aguri smiled and held Koro's cheek with gentleness, but Aguri's hands glowed and slowly became transparent. Koro looked at Aguri in shock.
Aguri tearfully reveals that she can't stay any longer, as they can't be together, and Koro has to move on. Koro shook his head, screaming Aguri's name as he tried to hug Aguri and stop her from fading away, but the woman slowly floated away like how Koro had done a thousand years ago. Koro reached out desperately, trying to grab his beloved wife's hands, but Aguri faded away, smiling and saying, "I will always love you forever."
As Aguri faded away to the wind, the sliver of moonlight on the orb shatters, leaving into nothing. The time was up, and it was too late to bring Aguri back. She was gone forever.
Kaede looked at the scene sadly, as she saw her sister faded away to the wind, like how Koro has done before. She sadly remarked that she knew from the start that the ritual will never work in the first place. The curse will always plagued their fate. Also, if that was possible, you can't bring back the person long dead for a thousand years. Koro is an immortal, and Aguri isn't.
Upon hearing Kaede's sad truth, Koro was stricken with grief over the loss of Aguri once again, plunging Kunugigaoka into darkness. The god suddenly formed a protective barrier around him, forbidding anyone access to him. The Kunugigaokans were worried about their leader, Karasuma voicing his concerns.
"We can't enter the barrier, it is too powerful and no one can enters there. If there is someone that can enter it, they can't go out until Koro stopped the barrier. And knowing him, he will stay like that forever."
Irina continued, "He really loved Aguri very much, and did everything to make her come back. But we all know that it is impossible. Kayano-san was different from Aguri-san's case. That curse..."
Nagisa was confused, "How Aguri was different from Kayano?"
Karasuma looked at the moon good and sighed, " There is actually a story that was actually not included in the tales that you humans say about Koro and Aguri. When Aguri picked the magic peach and made a potion for Koro to drink, a powerful sorcerer named Shiro was very angry. He wanted the peach to himself, to be immortal forever. When he found out that the magic peach was gone, and hearing the news that a mere mortal became immortal after drinking a potion containing the peach, he was pissed. Of course, he can't curse Koro, as he was now immortal and now in the moon, so Shiro cursed the one who made the potion, the unfortunate Aguri. He used a forbidden spell to curse her."
Gakushuu asked, "Let me guess, the curse was not to let Aguri reunited with Koro forever??"
Irina nodded, "Yes. Aguri's spirit and Koro can't be reunited until the curse is broken. Shiro had announced that the curse should be broken before the last sliver of moonlight in the orb shatters, or Aguri be gone forever. But unfortunately, the curse was too powerful, even the gods can't easily lift it without trouble. Even Koro, who now revered as the god of the moon. But he tried everything to break the curse for a thousand years, and this is his chance to do it right. But he failed. That sliver of light was gone. Now Aguri is gone, and Koro can't bring her back forever."
Nagisa and the Kunugigaokans were worried when they heard the words. Even Gakushuu, who shows slight concern. Nagisa stepped forward and into the barrier's end, touching the barrier, expecting it to feel like a wall. They all were shocked when his hands passed through the barrier. Nagisa looked at the depressed god of the moon and determined to enter the barrier. Gakushuu stopped him, his hands touched the barrier. Unlike Nagisa, it never passed through.
"Are you crazy?! What if you will be stuck there forever? I can't go home without you, I still have a future on Earth!"
Nagisa sighed as he smiled, "The moon's guiding light will be gone if we don't do something."
He went inside, ignoring the pleas of Karma and Kaede telling him to stop. Nagisa walked towards Koro, who was curling up into a ball.
"Koro-sama? It's me, Nagisa. The effeminate boy? I want you to know the Kunugigaokans needed you..."
Nagisa went to reach Koro, but something... Or someone stopped him. It was the vision of his father. Nagisa widened his eyes in shock and sadness as he looked towards his father, reaching his hand to hold his father’s face once again. He cried, as he screamed for his father to come back. But like Aguri, the vision floated away, leaving Nagisa depressed. Nagisa curled up to a ball in sadness, as the memories of the happy times rushed over him.
Meanwhile, Gakushuu, Karma and Kaede tried hard to break the barrier, but it was no use. Gakushuu punched the barrier but it wouldn't budge. He may not admit it, but he is started to care about Nagisa. Kaede tearfully screamed as she pounded in the glass in desperation. In her desperation, she revealed a secret Gakushuu was shocked for: Nagisa was Kaede's descendant.
Kaede had apparently died in her 20s when she give birth to a baby boy, her first child. Before dying, she gave her sister's necklace to her son as a reminder of her sister's love for her husband. It became a family hairloom, and Nagisa got it from his father thousand of years later.
Karma comforted Kaede as Gakushuu looked towards the greenette and Nagisa in shock.
Meanwhile, Koro had noticed Nagisa crying towards the vision of his father before it fades away. Koro felt sadness as he looked towards the depressed bluenette, he realized that both he and Nagisa are similar. Both of them lost a loved one and grieving over their loss. He floated towards Nagisa and gently lifted the teen's head.
Nagisa looked at the moon god with a tearful gaze, as the moon god sadly smiled, speaking in a soft voice, "You don't belong here, Nagisa-kun. You have a family to come back to. Don't drown in sadness like I did, you are still young. I know it hurts to let go of them, but we had to move on and be happy with the ones we currently have. You will remember the moments with them, but we can make new ones. You have your mother who needed you, your new stepfather to support you, and a new brother to love you."
Nagisa looked down as he spoke in a soft voice, looking towards the moon god's dark eyes "It's not too late for you to move on too." Aguri may be gone, but they are still there." Nagisa pointed out to the teenagers who stood outside the barrier, "They needed you too."
Gakushuu punched the barrier, with Karma punching along with him. "Nagisa-kun, I know we are not in good terms, but we will try to work this out! Because we are now a family!" With one last punch, the barrier shattered, as Gakushuu and the Kunugigaokans rushed in to greet Koro and Nagisa.
Nagisa hugged Gakushuu tightly, as Gakushuu, still uncomfortable in hugging people, squirmed before giving up. Kaede smiled at Nagisa, while Karma patted his back.
All Kunugigaokans rushed towards the moon god, as they hugged the crying moon god. Ritsu, Okuda and Kurahashi was crying loudly, hugging Koro tightly. Karasuma and Irina stayed behind, but they were smiling at the joyful event.
Later on, Koro and the Kunugigaokans are ready to say goodbye to Nagisa and Gakushuu. Koro had apologized to Karma and Kaede for banishing them from the kingdom, as they were just trying to make him happy by moving on and focus on the ones who loved him now. Karma just laughed and said that it was fine, traveling was fun and exciting, that he gets to pick fights easily outside without Koro scolding him, making the moon god slapped Karma's head playfully. Kaede snorted as Karma hugged Nagisa and Gakushuu tightly as he admitted he was going to miss them, Kaede giving Nagisa a quick peck in the cheek. Nagisa blushed pink over the actions. Koro happily gives Nagisa the picture of Koro and Nagisa together, as proof. Nagisa clutched the photo with happiness, as Gakushuu rolled his eyes.
With the octopuses flying them away, Gakushuu and Nagisa returned to Earth. To a human observer on Earth, they are like shooting stars. Nagisa looked at the photo in his hand, and saw the photo is fading away. Nagisa realized that he didn't need proof, so he let the photo floated away in the wind as they fall towards the Earth.
Months after, Hiromi and Gakuho had married. Hiromi changed for the better, and Nagisa is happy that his mother is now happy in life. His brother, Gakushuu, started to warm up to him.
They celebrated the March 13th festival with their relatives by eating mooncakes and sweets while sharing stories of Koro and Aguri. Nagisa laughed at some of the story as he looked out at the moon. The moon was glowing bright, as if it was acknowledging Nagisa.
After the mooncake eating, Hiromi was with Nagisa, looking at the moon with a serene look in their faces. They remembered the memories of the past, but there is no heartbreak now. Hiromi apologized about how she acted towards Nagisa ever since his father died, and Nagisa smiled as he hugged his mother tightly. As they playfully chasing each other in the night sky, the moon shone brightly than ever, as a beautiful swan in a lake flew towards the moon.
-----
So what do you think about it? I tried hard to fit the Assassination Classroom elements to Over the Moon, add some twists and new ideas, and hoping that there is not a character that is too OOC.

In this entire city the only white skin man and it's entire city what is it about 10 million here no we have to give it more let's say about 25 million here in this city there's just one man who witnessed black match justice so not a blacks are following me around forcing me triggering me to say black match Justice to me against the world statements you versus gold Sun you versus black Sun. It's our city it's weed City it's our McDonald's it's us McDonald's. Just every Mass statement any place I walk into I'm going to get jumped and attacked by a group of people.
Also you guys just had me walking around to shout dead daughter at the girl because she's going to be handed over to black. I know exactly the transition systems here. He just I don't know I guess looking at his wife. And it's it's all almost like I'm here to trade goods like I show up and every white skin girl I say time's up baby now you go with the black skin man.
That's right I called for exactly what it wasn't
AND THEN IN MY HEAD THE WHOLE TIME I'M SINGING A SONG FROM BRUNO MARS. NOW MY BABY'S DANCING AND SHE'S DANCING WITH ANOTHER MAN. MY PRIDE MY LIFE MY NEGRO MY SELFISH WAYS. Because for a good girl young like you to walk out my life.
So our worst nightmare has come true I'm here for covid because I seen the possibilities of of feeling an entire city with black skins are feeling entire city of white skin people I seen a possibilities of torture and humane inhumane conditions. I seen the possibilities of building the game out and right in the middle of the city turning on the snowmaker and fill in the top with snow and just letting it hang out for weeks keeping the entire city cool like a dirty ice cube
#REPORT SO OUR WORST NIGHTMARE HAS BEEN CONFIRMED BECAUSE I WITNESS BLACK MASS HATE AND JEALOUSY THEY WANT ME TO WALK AROUND JUST ONE F****** MAN AMONGST ALL THESE INNOCENT WHITE SKIN PEOPLE. AND CALL BLACK MAX BECAUSE I'M THE ONE MAN WHO'S SEEN IT THE JEALOUSY AND THE HATE.
It's my worst nightmare to call came in we're forcing them to say black mass. And and here's a disturbing part. I'm the only one that's witness the hate and jealousy because I myself am a representation of things that I did before that I'm trying to change about myself now. I'm not a perfect man.
But you guys will not continue follow me to call Black mass. All I know is this the reason why they gave you satellite maker immunity is because you're arsenal of white skin boys ready to be killed. And when I'm here. You guys are using the integration to blind me. And recognizing the truth. And also recognizing you guys have detoured and one on your own hit list. And that's not the way we hunt that's not the way we game. We always have a strategy. And it comes down to the best athlete outside survives and goes home. In the ones dragging leg across the finish line the last place you know the last 10. Those are the ones we killed it's almost common sense but you see you seem want to behold witnesses against me.
And then thankfully Jason airplane didn't work thankfully I was the only family you're allowed to kidnap. Unless you know Sammy Sammy has kidnapped more useless white skin men family. Then we've ever witnessed in our lives. He thinks just cuz it's a white skin boy. On the other side of that airplane he wants his sister. And and unfortunately for Sammy he's going to get that little crackers sister
Yeah it's our worst nightmare for this to come happen we knew the Black Mass Justice car was made by all the people. But we didn't know because my seeing possibilities open the door for my teaching and being kidnapped here. WALKING AROUND SAYING HE KNOWS THE BLACK MASS INCIDENT GO OUT AND PROMOTE IT. YOU YOURSELF ALONE. SEEN THE POSSIBILITIES. OF AN ENTIRE NEIGHBORHOOD BEING INVADED BY ROGUE OUT OF PRISON INMATES AND THEN DWELLING IN A HOUSE FOREVER THAT THEY KILLED doesn't mean it happened. I mean we've seen it happen. And now I think they're all still there in the same neighborhood today they probably live whites again and probably assumed the identities of the people living in the houses. Fyi. Life's not what you thought.
So I'm here to promote the word dead daughter just continue insulting this girl. And let's recognize who this girl is she's a witness of jason. And for your hostilities the only way you can weaponize or coach your girl against me if she has to be a witness of Jason almost thrown from God's church. And God's good graces. YOU'RE ONLY ON COACHING GIRLS AGAINST ME WHO'VE WITNESSED JASON. THAT'S THAT'S A BIG ATTACK ON GOD AND RELIGION. I'VE NEVER SEEN SO MUCH EFFORT IT'S MADE IT LOOKS SO EASY. THEN TO ME TO COME TO THESE CITIES WHO ALL ARE BEING COACHED BY MEN AND AND THE GIRLS ALL WITNESSES OF JASON. I'VE NEVER WITNESSED SUCH A SUCH A HATEFUL CRIME GEORGIA CHURCH TOWARDS A GOD I'VE NEVER WITNESSED SUCH A UNIFIED FRONT TO HAVE ALL THE GIRLS CALLING JASON AND GOD AN ACCIDENT. AND THESE ARE THE GIRLS THAT WE SAID SPECIFICALLY TO CALL GOD AND JASON AN ACCIDENT THE ACTION DANCE IS THEY WOULDN'T ACTUALLY LIKE SATELLITE MAKER. OBVIOUSLY THEY'RE CALLING HIS ORGANIZATION AND ACCIDENT. AND WE CAN'T HELP BUT NOTICE. ALL OF THEM ARE WITNESSES OF JASON. IT'S AS A PERSONAL ATTACK ON ME BUT TO BRING ME TO THESE BLACK CITIES WE KNOW BLACKS RUIN THE RELIGION OF MIKE WE KNOW BLACKS RUINED THE RELIGION OF JASON. THE ONLY THING THEY COULDN'T HAVE RUINED WAS TIRED BECAUSE HE DOESN'T HAVE HIS OWN RELIGION AND DOESN'T HAVE A DAUGHTER
Remember the failed pastor that's this mother f***** I think they sent 40 troops here 40 black skin men from Florida 3/4 to make sure that I don't have sex life. And guess what he becomes a hero he's now the man who got them the free trips brought them to the city. And all he wants to do is get on TV and give a white skin man the credit. And that's not happening he's a my free trips they are my boys and when I find a judge that's willing to listen to me.
These f****** keep on calling me around because I saw the possibilities of covid remember one little boy gets out an airplane lifts up that little airplane window and sees a mountain or she's a casino man or she's a dry land without one piece of grass on it he's going to notice the possibilities and he's going to be forced here to bleed out to close our section because he saw something that these kids and people won't see in 10 or 15 years by not getting on an airplane

𝘖́𝘳𝘭𝘢 𝘩𝘶𝘳𝘳𝘺 𝘶𝘱... 𝘔𝘺 𝘨𝘰𝘥!
Satya's voice whines in my ear as I twist and turn in the mirror, examining the way the shimmering black dress hangs off of my curves. The light from the massive chandelier hanging on the high ceiling of my bedroom makes each hand sewn sparkle glitter. Smiling, satisfied with the dress that had probably cost Daddy thousands, I toss a bolt of flaxen hair over my shoulder and turn towards my best friend with my hands on my hips.
𝘈𝘭𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵! 𝘐'𝘮 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘺.
𝘍𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺! 𝘞𝘦'𝘳𝘦 𝘨𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘰 𝘣𝘦 𝘦𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵𝘺 𝘣𝘺 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦 𝘸𝘦 𝘨𝘦𝘵 𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘮𝘺 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘧𝘪𝘯𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦 𝘤𝘶𝘵𝘦 𝘨𝘶𝘺 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘮𝘦 𝘩𝘰𝘮𝘦? 𝘐 𝘯𝘦𝘦𝘥 𝘮𝘺 𝘣𝘦𝘥 𝘳𝘰𝘤𝘬𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘰𝘯𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵, 𝘖.
Rolling my eyes, I follow a head of silky black hair down the stairs, through the expansive living area, past rooms that are quiet and empty. A kitchen. A parlor. A library. An office. All rooms that I hardly ever used unless I had friends or a guy over. I spent most of my time in my apartment in my bedroom or in the cozy living space with it's comfy couches and plush blankets and huge mounted flat screen.
Out the front door, down the glass elevator, through the lobby while waving to the doorman and out into the street. The second we step through the revolving front door, the sound of the city hits like a brick wall. Horns honking and people yelling, engines revving, a siren in the distance. Every single time I stepped outside, the sounds that assault my ears sound so cliche I almost want to laugh.
My best friend and I climb into a cab and Satya gives the driver the address for some club in Staten Island.
Crossing over into Brooklyn, the scenery changes a little, but it's still my city.
𝘖𝘩𝘩𝘩𝘩, 𝘖 𝘭𝘰𝘰𝘬! 𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦'𝘴 𝘢 𝘱𝘰𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘣𝘰𝘹𝘦𝘳 𝘐 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦!
Satya squeals and squeezes my arm with one hand while pointing to a faded, half torn poster of a dark haired man standing with boxing gloves in front of the ring. The name 𝐀𝐗𝐄𝐋 𝐑𝐄𝐄𝐃 on the bottom in big block letters.
Rolls my eyes and hides a laugh when I see the cabbie chuckling to himself at the girlish nonsense going on in his back seat. I am sure he had seen plenty of party girls like us. Just another one of the crowd. Just another blonde rich bitch.
Satya had a thing for athletic men. She was a privileged little thing just like me but she got down and dirty for the working class.
Which worked out well when we finally arrived at the hole-in-the-wall club in SI – getting in with no trouble at all, just my last name and a pretty white smile – and Satya had already sunk her claws into a man who was working on the Brooklyn Point condo site doing… construction things.. I don't ask the ins and outs because I don't necessarily care.
I throw my fifth glance her way while sipping down a second martini when my phone buzzes in my clutch. I ignore it, letting it go to voicemail because I know who it is. Cian, the large brutish man that worked for my father was trying to find me.
I had stopped sharing my location with him because I just wanted one night of normal fun with my best friend without seeing Cian glaring at everyone from the corner of whatever room we are in. Cian was hired to keep me out of trouble, and out of danger, as the two often went hand in hand. Occasionally I would get asked about the scary man glowering my way, more often than not by men who had approached me and sat too close, and I would have to make up some lie about a protective friend, even though my protector was obviously 20 years older than my 25.
Usually this scared any potential male prospects away, so it was a pleasant change when a handsome stranger easily slid into the barstool next to me and offered to buy me a drink. Ignoring the fact that I had more money than he had probably ever seen in his life in my bank account right now, I say yes and grin when he orders me a third martini.
Conversation flows easily, especially after the third martini, and before I know it, I am following my new friend Martin out the club's back entrance into the alley, while his firm hand presses against the small of my back. Fluttering my lashes up at him when he turns and presses both hands to the brick wall behind my back, leaning in as if to kiss me. Against the wall? How romantic. Romantic until he asks my name.
𝘖́𝘳𝘭𝘢 𝘖'𝘋𝘰𝘯𝘯𝘦𝘭𝘭
I tell him and I watch his face twist into a grotesque mask of rage. A slap stings on my cheek and my surroundings spin. I taste the tang of blood in my mouth, one of my hands flying out to brace against the wall as I stagger, trying not to fall.
Martin grabs a fistful of my hair before I can recover and wrenches my head backwards so that I am forced to look at him as he screams at me despite his face being inches from mine.
𝘠𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝙛𝙞𝙡𝙩𝙝𝙮 𝘧𝘢𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘪𝘴 𝘋𝘢𝘳𝘳𝘢𝘨𝘩 𝘖'𝘋𝘰𝘯𝘯𝘦𝘭𝘭 𝘪𝘴𝘯'𝘵 𝘩𝘦!? 𝘐𝘴𝘯'𝘵 𝘩𝘦!? 𝘠𝘰𝘶 𝙛𝙞𝙡𝙩𝙝𝙮 𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘵𝘭𝘦 𝘤𝘶𝘯𝘵. 𝘠𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘧𝘢𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘪𝘴 𝘨𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘰 𝘱𝘢𝘺 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘩𝘦 𝘥𝘪𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘮𝘺 𝘣𝘳𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳! 𝘏𝘦 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘨𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘺 𝘵𝘰 𝘱𝘢𝘺 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘥𝘦𝘣𝘵. 𝘏𝘦 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘯𝘦𝘦𝘥𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘸𝘰 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘥𝘢𝘺𝘴!
His voice cracks a little, and he’s winding up for a punch this time, his fist closed, when a hand catches his fist, enclosing the entire thing in a single palm. Martin’s arm is twisted. A crack sounds out through the alley and the hand fisted in my hair releases it’s grip.
My new companion and now assaulter falls to his knees, crying out in pain, and behind him stands Cian, angrier than I’ve ever seen him.
My eyes slam shut, but not before I watch my protector slam his steel toed boot into the middle of Martin’s back, another fresh scream of pain ringing out to mix and mingle with the sounds of the city I loved so much.
Gritting my teeth, still using the wall to hold my balance until the dull thuds, cracks, pain-filled groans, and grunts are finished. Opening an eye to see Cian holding out his hand to me. I check to make sure my attacker is still breathing as I step over his huddled body, not because I am worried for him, but for the selfish reason of not wanting to have been present for a murder.
𝘠𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘥𝘢𝘥 𝘪𝘴 𝘨𝘰𝘯𝘯𝘢 𝘱𝘢𝘺 𝘱𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘤𝘦𝘴𝘴... 𝘏𝘪𝘴 𝘥𝘶𝘦𝘴 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘨.
Comes the weak response from the pathetic mass of human lying on the dirty pavement. My guardian spats his way, and guides me towards a waiting black car.
I can only imagine the trouble I am going to be in… but I truly believe the trouble I would have been in if Cian had not arrived when he did, would be worse than anything that Daddy can throw at me.
My mind wanders on the silent car ride home. Hoping that Satya is okay and having fun with her construction crew man is merely a distraction from the topic my mind wants to dwell on. What did Martin mean? What happened to his brother? And what does it have to do with Daddy?
Nothing. No. I won’t let my mind go there because there is nothing to find there. Martin was just a drunk, confused, man who found an opportunity to abuse a woman. Right?
But one thing circles round and round my head as I hold my fingers to my swelling cheek.
How did he know my father’s name?
and
What did he mean by

do you have any advice for people who are just.... tired of fighting? people who are mentally ill and don't have the emotional energy to fight anymore, but can only stand on the sidelines and support others taking action. i feel like im in survival mode right now, not even paying attention to most news about trump because i'm so incredibly exhausted that even trying to pull my head out of the sand seems like it would be detrimental to my mental health. what can people like me do in the meantime?
this was me for so many years. i totally understand.
it comes and goes. these exhaustion are waves, not permanent declines. the weather fucking sucks, s.a.d. is out in full force and the world is really bad. this is a really tough time to be depressed in.
my advice for the short term:
1. try to do at least 1 constructive thing a day: like “do a load of laundry” “wipe down kitchen counters” or “do homework”. something that’s attainable and has a clear ending. soon it becomes habit, instead of a chore. and youll start to want to get it out of the way earlier and earlier in the day until its the first thing you do. then...you have potential time for more things and you’re standing upright so you might as well do stuff. its like that new fucked up engine nasa’s working on that builds up propulsion over time using tiny amounts of energy. its a little trickle before the dam can burst.
most importantly it helps create a living environment thats overall better. idk about you but when my rooms clean i feel at ease.
2. dont beat yourself up: and if you can’t do that? man, aim for the next day. habits dont become habits overnight. they take time. do what you’re capable of. not what you THINK you should be able to do.
3. hygiene hygiene HYGIENE: THIS is hard too, i know. but this is another thing that i guarantee you will at least make things 10% better at LEAST. scrub your face, clip your toe and fingernails, get a haircut, take a hot shower with a nice smelling soap. hell bring your phone in there and listen to a podcast while you take a bath. make it enjoyable. and please brush your teeth 2x a day. your teeth are super important and a pain in the ass to fix after the fact.
4. ask for help: on one of your “do one thing today” events, look up free counseling in the area, or see what your insurance covers. look for people with similar problems who are recovering or making strides for recovery. surround yourself with people who can and will support you when you fall backwards.
5. put your blinders on, temporarily- the world fucking sucks right now. cant disagree with that. and i think exposing yourself to endless parades of bad news doesnt do anything but compound how helpless we feel. its like, you can put out a small fire in your trash can but the inferno raging outside is still there. my constant thought process was “theres so much bad in the world, how can we ever hope to do any good?”
so...block yourself out for a while and create a peaceful space to recenter yourself. block news sites, tumblr, twitter, whatever you need to. i use stay focusd if i need some breathing room.
i guess, in summary...you need to make a space (physical and emotional) where you can unpack things healthily. plants dont grow they dont have the basics. same with people. you say you only have the energy for others, but you’re just expending what energy you have on others. its okay to do something “selfish” if its for your own good and no one gets hurt. youre not taking up anyone’s time but your own. and you have a whole lifetime of time.
be comfy, anon. try your best to do good for you for a while. see how it goes.
