Some people do kinda suck but I find a lot of joy in giving people really specifics compliments at my job and it makes their whole day sometimes c: 💛

#I had a very enthusiastic conversation about a lady’s hair and the way it was cut #she cut it herself! #I often like to tell some women that their purse is very nice and they’re usually very proud of their purses I’ve found #I will tell some people sometimes that the color of their shirt is so fitting for their skin tone and was a great choice that day #I expressed once to a customer that I loved the prints of his shirts and he came by one day in this one particular shirt #hoping I’d be there apparently because he wanted me to see the shirt because I love his style! #it’s so nice #I had a lady blushing once from head to toe because I said she looks like the perfect example of a woman #that face every artist draws for that reference #she was so beautiful #haha I like compliments on men’s facial hair too! #they’re proud of their facial hair a lot of the time #even soemthing as simple as they look amazing for their age which I’ve said many many times #like I said some people suck and I have yet to truly meet the bad eggs but man I just really like seeing them light up #when you compliment the littlest things they put hardly any effort into and think maybe nobody will even notice #I like pointing out those things

basic stuff

-each agency is a clan, not each unit. 14-15 clans would be silly and then we would have some clans with 5 cats and some with 2.

-starpro -> lightclan. i couldn’t call them “starclan” for obvious reasons. light is somewhat synonymous with star, so i’m going with that.

-cospro -> nightclan. i don’t think the cats in warriors know the word “cosmic”, but cosmic implies cosmos implies night sky, so we’re going with night

-rhyth lin -> rippleclan. ripple is sort of a synonym to rhythm….? this one was hard

-new di -> fortuneclan. this one is a stretch but neither “new” or “dimension” have synonyms that really fit a clan name. fortune is something that relates to multiple characters in new di though

-starclan still sort of exists, but the cats do not believe in them the way they do in warriors. they are more of a nursery tale than anything, and select cats (ex: tatsumi) believe in them, but it is not written into their code. medicine cats can still interpret signs, but they do not necessarily think of them as coming from starclan.

-medicine cat forbidden romance is not a thing here

-intermingling of clans is ok and common

-there’s like. other cats in their clans besides just the enstars cast i assume

-tsukasa -> scarletstar (scarletblossom) . he is the leader of fortuneclan because he is one of the new di reps for the summits. both scarlet and blossom were chosen bc of his last name (scarlet is a red color… kinda similar to cherry…. and blossom for the cherry blossom).

-leo -> lionheart. ok this one is kind of cheating because lionheart is already an existing warrior, but…come on….

-izumi -> silverspring. sora describes his color as silver, and spring is in his first name

-ritsu -> frostmoon. his first name means cold moon according to the wiki so i just rehashed it

-naru -> goldenroar. since she doesn’t like her first name i didn’t want to use “storm”, and her last name can be read as “thunder” but that’s a little too close to storm? so golden for her hair and roar for her last name

switch

-natsume -> sageeye. a sage is similar to a wizard, and eye is in his first name . also the “dovesong” mentioned is wataru :)

-tsumugi -> bluewing. he is a bluebird. warrior cats probably wouldn’t straight up call a cat “bluebird” so i put wing there instead. deputy cause he’s the vp

-sora -> skyspring . sora means sky. spring is in his last name. i could have used “stream” instead to differentiate him from sena but i think spring is cuter

-madara -> tawnystripe . tawny bc it’s like kind of close to calico if you squint. stripe(s) is in his last name

Aw, glad to hear you like my headcanons for these two. They live in my brain too—neither one of them pay rent but they’re making friendship bracelets together so I’m not going to kick them out.

Having said that, the reason for the claw-chewing is because Leshy was buried underground, trapped in his version of the game in the dark without anything to do or any input from anyone—player or Scrybe alike—for who knows how many years. His nerves got to him after a while and, well… he’s at least got the certainty that he still has teeth.

Still stuck on Joel saying “I have to leave her.”

Leaving insinuates it’s personal, that there’s something there. That these two people have bonded and grown together to a point where it’s not just a “drop-off” or a simple walk-away anymore. Leaving says there’s feelings there; a relationship. You don’t just walk away from someone you spent the last three months sleeping next to, surviving beside, protecting day in and day out, and caring for in the midst of hardship.

Leaving is a conscience choice. It’s weighing your options and looking at the pros and cons of your choice. Whether it be voluntarily leaving a location or leaving a type of relationship, there is still a conscience choice there. A weight to that choice. Maybe it’s an easy choice, like leaving a party early.

Or, maybe, it’s leaving your child some kid you swear you’re not attached to. But it’s not just leaving, it’s “I (EYE) have to leave her.” There is no room for any discussion or debate. He has to do this, for both their sakes. For Joel, he leaves. She’s no longer ‘physically’ a part of his life. I don’t know about you, but I think once you start having panic attacks over worrying about your this kids safety and dreaming of losing her, you’re past the point of no return. She would remain in his head even if they did go their separate ways. For Ellie, she’s left. Left without her person. Her safe space. Her home. The person who can make her laugh and cry in the same day. The person who beats her to the punchline of one of her puns because it’s a dad joke and he still remembers some. The person who’s tried with her. Who’s protected her at every turn. The person she finds comfort and solace in. And he tries to leave all because he thinks he’s not really all of that to her. Instead, he is a failure and he cannot give her the life that he wholeheartedly believes she so greatly deserves.

But it’s not about what she deserves. It’s about what she wants and what she needs. She wants Joel. She needs Joel. She wants this man who actively tries his best with her. She wants this guy who’s given her unexplainable comfort despite never having hugged him. She wants his presence and what he does and the lengths he goes to to protect her. She wants the person she finds much needed solace in. The man who is a caretaker for her, providing and caring for her, always before himself. The person who reassures her through every encounter. The person she trusts the most. The person she calls home. The person who wants to leave.

She doesn’t deserve him. He doesn’t deserve her. They don’t deserve the empty parts of each other that the other fills. And leaving also means regression. It means the parts of themselves, these empty cavities in their hearts that are oh so slowly getting stitched back together with each new morning, will be gone. And neither of them could take that.
