Ok time to infodump about blorbo of the week!! AKA my main Pacific Rim OC. I'm telling things in sorta chronological order, just know my friend and I have been RPing this and there's stuff we havent gotten to yet.

Ariel Cassidy (though they usually just go by their last name so I'll be calling them Cassidy/Cass) is the child of a now retired Jaeger pilot duo based in Valparaiso, Chile. They grew up in a shatterdome and have been training for as long as they can remember. So, even though their parents said they could be anything they wanted and they'd still be proud no matter what, how could they ever even want anything else?

Their upbringing was Odd, to say the least. School didn't go well for them (being socialized around 0 kids their age and a bunch of really intense and nerdy adults didn't help) so they were mostly tutored by scientists at the shatterdome and now they know a lot about really specific topics and are sorely lacking very common knowledge in some areas. They are incredibly skilled in pretty much everything pilot-related, and that often comes with incredible arrogance. They have a complicated relationship with authority, they've had rules and respect drilled into them from a very young age but they're a little too familiar with Marshall Velez, top dog in the Valparaiso shatterdome and also their godmother (she's very good friends with their parents and often had to look after Cass while their folks were out kicking Kaiju ass) so they often step out of line. They constantly have to deal with allegations of being a nepo baby and they HATE it. More than anything, they want to prove they're more than just their parents' child, and show just how hard they've worked to be an amazing pilot. Overall they're a bit obnoxious, but they have a deep admiration for all the work done in all areas of the shatterdome and are a friendly and passionate person to talk to if you can get past initial impressions.

Though they became a pilot recruit as soon as they were old enough to qualify, they couldn't find a partner until recently. The gap in skill between them and other newbies made it hard to synchronize with any of them, but their lack of experience in the real world made them a pretty bad match for veteran pilots. This all changed when Harrison Reyes (@therafofgod's character) transferred from the Taipei shatterdome after failing to find a partner several times himself.

I'll let Raf explain Harris more in depth if he wants, but he's also from a pilot family (his brother Melchor, specifically, who trained him after having to retire following an incident that got his partner killed) and he's garnered a bit of a negative reputation after having to transfer several times. He looks scary, but he's actually a sweetheart. Cass wasn't intimidated by him, and once they got to spar together, they instantly clicked.

Their first drift test went pretty terrible. Cassidy didn't rabbit, they didn't even have time, they just rejected the drift altogether and started freaking out. Some tests were done to try and determine why they had such a strong reaction, and instead of figuring that out, they found traces of Kaiju DNA in Cass' blood. They were extremely confused, until their parents explained that Cassidy was actually made as an experiment, without their knowledge or consent, by a fringe group of scientists in the shatterdome who had long been fired for doing exactly that. They combined human DNA (they had Cass' parents' blood available from medical testing) with a bit of Kaiju to try and create basically a living weapon. They weren't sure what results it'd yield, but hopefully something that could go up against the Kaiju- they never found out, though, because when the Marshall caught wind of them creating a literal person she shut them the fuck down and was going to have the experiment terminated, but Cassidy's parents begged her to let them keep it.

They raised Cass as normal as they could and never got around to telling them they're actually a little bit the monsters they've trained their entire life to kill. So there's their first identity crisis. The enhancements aren't all that noticeable, but they can't help wondering if all their talent is just due to being a little stronger, a little tougher than a person should. At the very least, when they found out, they expected Harris to be disgusted by them. Instead, he stuck by their side, comforted them, and promised to protect them no matter what.

So, they kept training as normal and trying to figure out what went wrong with the drift and whether Cassidy can even pilot at all, considering what happened. They had a successful test (well actually they did have one between the first one and this but it got derailed by Harris rabbiting) and uncovered some trauma that Cass had blocked out from their mind. When they were young, far too young to be anywhere near drift tech, they were made to drift with an experienced pilot to gain some of his expertise, reflexes and muscle memory for fighting. This also happened without their parents, or even Marshall Velez, finding out. Cue second identity crisis, even the one thing they're good at isn't truly theirs (although they've been training continuously, and have built upon the foundations they got from that experience to make their fighting style better suited to themselves), etcetera. Worse yet, the pilot who did this was Jun, Melchor's old partner and someone who Harris really looked up to growing up. Jun was the soft edge to Mel's harshness, a kind and stable presence in an otherwise very rocky childhood. Finding out he did that to someone Harris now cares about so deeply was devastating.

Harris spoke about this over the phone with Melchor, and he decided it'd be better to have this conversation in person and just showed up uninvited. He jumpscared the duo while they were just trying to eat breakfast in peace and proceeded to be a huge dick while acting superficially nice and Cass decided they hate this fucking guy. After a very frustrating conversation and covert threats from Mel to get Harris transferred again, Cassidy decided they were getting nowhere with finding out more about Jun and excused themselves and Harris to go train. Mel tagged along and asked to try sparring with Cass, they half-accidentally punched him in the throat and that finally got him to fuck off for a bit.

Last we wrote, the duo finally had a fully successful and not panic inducing drift and simulation! With Mel's threats, they're more determined than ever to prove their worth as a duo. Harris has decided that if Cass won't be their partner, no one will. So now, they have to have a successful drop and kill a Kaiju before Melchor's meddling can tear them apart and end both their careers early.

This is about as concise as i can make anything. There's a lot more about the duo's bond which is so lovely, and also Harris is a really interesting character and so are Mel and Jun and the Marshall and we have a bunch of great side characters I didn't even mention. Raf if you wanna reblog and explain some more about Harris I would love that very much but no pressure.

Also, it hasn't been written yet but once exposed to Kaiju, Cass will start to manifest a few subtly monstrous features. Does it make sense? Not really. But this is my house and I do what my heart demands and my heart wants fucked up little guys.

(idk when the cutoff will be, but warning for a very long infodump XD)

okay listen i cannot emphasize how much thought has been put into this, i have backstories for each of the pokemon, i know how all of them met their trainers, ive designated the serious trainers with a specific type of pokemon they train, like. listen to me. i have put SO much thought into this and how pokemon would fit into the lmk universe and canon. im going insane.

anyways, heres some of the pokemon/trainer lineups. ive done..... a large majority of the important cast? i havent gone into azure's whole group, but i think thats all im missing. i've done a lot.

ANYWAYS take the traffic light trio, they were the first ones i did!

And heres how they met each pokemon! (I havent named any of them yet LMAO, but i will!)

it flew into his face on a breeze when he was a kid (like ten), he begged to keep it. It evolves before canon starts while theyre playing together :)

Monferno

found during “A hero is born”, when climbing down the mountain (it kind of just followed him for a while until he noticed it and went :D!!). it evolved in s4 “the emperor’s wrath” against azure (when he fully accepted his monkey form)

Kubfu

“Impossible delivery”, He runs into it (literally) on the way home down the mountain, and he keeps it bc why not

Mei

Passed down through the family, kinda fucks off until mei calls upon it (mei can still turn into a dragon, needs to learn to work together with him and do JOINT ATTACKS)

Chosen at a store with her parents before canon, evolved when she used the dragon blade

“The great wall race”, evolved during the training in s2 “this is the end”

Pawmi

Found in s3 special “this imperfect world” during training with redson, helped her conceptualize the storing and release of energy of the Samadhi fire and stuff

Found sometime around “revenge of the spider queen”. It was injured (fell out of nest? Hurt leg? hmm) but still tried to attack him and defend its territory, so he deemed it strong enough to become his teammate

okay okay some notes:

Pigsy didn't want MK having too many pokemon, partially because of mess/healthcode violations, and also because of money reasons. he had just the one pokemon the for the majority of his life, and after 'A Hero Is Born' pigsy was 1. so glad that MK was alive that he didn't care and 2. mk promised to keep it away from the kitchen and pay for all of its needs itself and ect ect. it was very much a 'PLEAAAASEEE can I keep it 🥺' kind of thing. The Kubfu mainly stays at the training ground (its very dedicated), so that wasn't an issue.

For Mei, she chose the trapinch (the preevolution of the vibrava) at the pokemon equivalent of a pet store bc its a tradition in the family to get a dragon-type pokemon when they turn twelve. her parents showed her a bunch of options and she thought the final evolution looked epic. The Boltund is known for chasing fast things, including vehicles. it chased her until the finish line and she was delighted to have attracted such a fast pokemon. the pawmi was just a little guy that she was secretly messing with instead of paying attention to red son XD

okay there's not too much extrapolation i have to go into for red son, BUT. the fact that none of his pokemon have evolved was/is a major sore point for him, and his parents often were critical on whether they (and by proxy, red son) were strong enough. Now he and his parents are more normal about it, and ironically its the lack of stress and pressure that's going to make it easy for them to evolve now. smth smth friendship is an important part of a pokemon's health, its like a whole character arc for him.

AND THATS NOT ALL. I wanted to go over like... specifically why i chose some of these pokemon!! like, for MK, his pokemon represent different parts of him, like, narratively!

the whimscott is playful, loves pranks, and its kind of a metaphor for the more childish side of him? Which is why i made it his first pokemon! (I also chose it because it reminded me of the monkey kings cloud, which i feel like his younger self would have wanted sooo bad LMAO)

the monferno is obviously related to his connection to the monkey king, but most importantly it hangs in packs, and THEREFORE represents his love for his friends bc obviously that's a huge part of him, yk? (I also really like this pokemon for him bc it matches his color scheme XD)

And for the Kubfu, the episode it was found on is very important! the kubfu is known for how dedicated it is to its training both its body and its mind, as well as its "fighting spirit". Sooo obviously it represents MK's sense of duty and his want to train to be better! He and his kubfu train a LOT in season 2, when he's trying to prepare for the LBD. (Fun Fact: this was almost Wukong's pokemon, but i couldnt stop drawing connections to MK when looking at it because its got the little bandana and everything, and i thought it was too similar to him to be wukongs pokemon. i mean, if he already mentored that pokemon, that would make the fact that he's mentoring MK way less meaningful, yk?)

got back in touch with some friends from high school and after looking through their profiles im feeling a little bittersweet. its cool to see them again but i guess i also feel a little like i missed out on so much with them while theyve all stuck together. theres definitely a lot of unresolved trauma and conflict from high school that ive never gotten closure for or healing from so its a little difficult to know how to feel about everyone...

im feeling a little i guess... bummed and its hard not to compare myself to them. they have jobs and some even have kids and spouses and theyve all been doing great and having people to hang with all the time and i havent done anything since i last saw them except have a job for 6 months and then be disabled and alone for the rest

im sure the feeling will go away once ive settled back into knowing everyone and i know i probably just feel like this bc so much time and change has happened and its scary and new (and i have not had contact with anyone except one person in my town since high school so the Hermit Habits are hitting pretty strong)

but on the more positive side, i found out 2 of my friends are trans now too, and theres even a new friend in their group who is a nonbinary guy like me (:> and they seem cool with my unconventional gender stuff bc they found my pronoun page, which has far more on it than what i usually share with anyone irl. they said theyre not even surprised about the catboy stuff, which is kind of relieving because i dont share that part of myself irl. im also really hoping to be able to hang with some of them again. i miss them a lot more than i realized and now that im an adult i can hang whenever i want!

anyways thats all, i dont really have anyone i can share this with at the moment so i wanted to share here

oh my god I hate to think you thought people weren't LOVING lmr chapter 4! seems like there really was a universal lag in people not seeing the update, myself included. maybe more of your followers like football than u thought...

i didn't know there was any football stuff going on lol. i know there Are A Lot Of Sports Fans in the world in general but my vibe of the catradora fandom is that our football-viewer percentage is lower than average, unless you're talking about women's soccer 😂 i also think it was influenced by the archive having issues that day (partially down) since i had at least two people tell me they never got an email. I also didn't really mention i posted it on here - which i don't always do for fics, but i had been doing for the previous the chapters. i usually only mention it if im posting something or answering an ask anyway and can tack it on without like, having to make a Whole Post dedicated to it (this is a theme that will return later in this post)

normally when i do fic notes, i include a "what's next" section, but i left it off this time because im not sure, actually! i was initially planning (like, back a month ago when i first started writing) to do an au next but it would be a Lot and my interest is swaying towards canon rn so i thiiiiink it will be some OotW fics since i have a few wips for that and one In Particular that i need to figure out if its a one shot, or multichapter fic, or like two or three fics in a miniseries. i have like a dozen wips rn so its really hard to say.

i actually only realized i was posting on valentines day like two hours ago when i was given someone's milk chocolate haul since they only like dark chocolate lol. honestly im a bad person to ask this because im not one for dates or gifts or any of the stuff valentines is based on. i dont like Special things i just like the little everyday stuff, so valentines seems like a chore to me and its hard to come up with stuff for it. it also depends if you're talking like, in a modern au or for the etherian equivalent of valentines day. my vague answer is just they take it as an excuse to spend an entire day together since they love being around each other, or they go on a fun little adventure they havent found the time for yet. i can see them doing stuff with glimbow "double date" style too.

the answer is both! i go days without messages sometimes (which works for me because i like talking to yall but it also takes energy) and then other times i get a bunch at once. messages naturally gather around talking points (specific posts, fic uploads) so like, ive checked my asks twice tonight and had a decent number of asks both times, but when i posted chapter three i waited a few hours to gather some asks before replying since i knew they would be trickling in for the evening as people read the update.

it's also taken me two hours just to type out the replies in this post (which might give context to my "asks take energy" thing) so during that time more messages can come in and be answered in the same post as long as i remember to check right before i go to post it.

i like putting them all in one post just because it makes my blog and the dashboard experience Neater so i do it when reasonable, but i dont usually wait more than a few hours for the purpose of collection, if i do at all. it also lets me reply to and acknowledge some messages even when i dont have anything to say to them directly (like, i didnt have a reply to that ahhhh anon on its own, but it made me laugh so i wanted to post it, and by putting it in a larger group i can do that).

oh thank you! i feel like its something im actually terrible at since i do have a tendency to ignore/delete messages when im not up to talking (in general, or just dont have anything to say on the topic/in response). i do really love my comments and message tho so thank you to everyone who leaves them! i hope the blanket thank-yous are enough because usually they're the best ive got lol

idk i feel like never figured out the social interaction of thanking people (even/especially irl), so it makes me not reply to comments much because i feel like the best i can do is a canned, one-sentence "thank you!" response (and, of course, that still takes energy as mentioned with spoons, which doesn't feel worth what it "gives back" you know).

actually, ive talked about this for so long, so let me just take a temperature and i can gather responses (or post replies, those are great too!) for a bit: 1) are comments sections usually just [thoughtful comment]["thanks!"] and im otherthinking this because i havent read other author's comment sections, 2) do you Care if an author replies to your comment or not, at least when it's not a question (like, does it influence your decision to leave one if you think they won't reply. i personally don't care at all which is probably where part of my whole thing comes from), and 3) if it does influence you, does a simple "thanks!" really add anything to your decision. im almost certainly not going to change my approach because it's what im comfortable with, but i would like to know if im expending an unwarranted amount of mental effort on this XD

i have before! it's called Let's Get Physical. frankly its just harder to write lol

finished s2 of the bear tuesday night. wednesday was our 2year wedding anniversary. midday we found out my mom's good friend and our family friend (basically an auntie but we don't use that term idk it just happened that way we just go by first names) died by suicide on tuesday or wednesday. everyone is in shock. my mom has a tight-knit group of ladies and they were together yesterday. my brother is going over tonight after work to be with my mom and i think i'll go over tomorrow after work, maybe today too. i havent spoken to any of the other 'kids' in the group (we all grew up together). idk how they are all doing especially her daughters. i want to help but it just happened and we aren't very close and i am sure there are a lot of people right now.

also annah and i have been arguing and fighting a lot and not talking. it's been hard. work sucks for me. it's been a heat wave so annah is wiped out after work and work is tough for her. annah is very not good at 'support' and emotions and stuff. so that has been .. very fun on top.

so its just a lot.

yes exactly!! it's freeing to do stuff alone sometimes, it kinda started bc one summer i wanted to watch a scary movie that came out (hereditary) but no one would watch it with me LOL so i decided i'll just go by myself. i used to worry what other people would think but i realized i quite enjoy my own company so now i'm more comfortable doing it! (and of course, since im a minho bias, this reminds me of his latest vlog where he went camping alone haha that was such a comfy cozy vlog 🥺 my mind is still there)

dont worry, i have "cannot shut up disease" too so i totally understand 😂😂 i have also heard of rowoon but i don't think i watched the dramas he was in! also chani was in that snow prince stage last year with mark and lino 😁 and oh my gosh, that mirotic stage with taeyang and hyunjin 😳 taeyang's pose in the beginning AHH

wait i know some of these sf9 songs you mentioned!! i LOVE o sole mio, what a great song. and i've seen the dance practice for KO because of that beginning part where they're rotating the members, that is simply insane!!!! i listened to all the other songs you sent, and they are really catchy omg?? and their choreos are so cool!! is taeyang the one in the sleeveless shirt in the now or never mv? hahahaha. also i love your sf9 info doc <3 it seems like there are a lot of quiet cuties in the group hehe 🥺 i love that!!! also i watched the horror dance prank video LMAO youngbin saying "i was really looking forward to seeing a ghost" famous last words and the way they all freaked out when the bat fell from the ceiling

yeah snowboarding/skiing are so expensive so we'll see if that happens hahaha 😅 i kinda know how to skateboard though and it seemed fun but idk! def one day it seems cool to learn. oooh have you read any good books lately? i like to read as well ^^ i havent watched any anime recently but i have watched a good amount (did you watch/read spyxfamily? that was the last one i watched i think and it was pretty funny). what video games do you like to play? im only a casual gamer, kpop takes most of my brain space 😂😂 i still havent finished zelda botw lol. and that is so cool that you dance too!! how did you get into dancing? i dont know anything about dancing and it always fascinates me to watch dancers move their bodies the way they do!! there is this duo whose dances i really like to watch (i didnt know this when i first found him but the guy, sean, actually did a dance collab that i love with taeyong and mark from nct too!! (also god mark is so hot in that video hahaha)

Oh nice! For me it started in college, just with how classes and stuff worked out, I spent most of my time alone and had to go out of my way to hang out with friends, and I started to enjoy some of that alone time, I like just vibing sometimes.

I wish I could tell you what dramas he's been in, but honestly I'm really bad at remembering anything. XD The Mirotic stage is a lot but it's also fun!!! All of them killed it! Those stages with different groups together are so fun, a multis dream come true. 🥺 Now if there could somehow be a stage with both Chan and Taeyang I would die happy... 😂

You have good taste if you love O Sole Mio. 😔 I'm glad you like them all!!! Lemme check to see the only one I remember being shirtless is Hwiyoung... Okay Taeyang does have some shirtless outfits but so does Hwiyoung so I'm not sure which one you're talking about for Now or Never. XD

I'm glad you love my doc!!! I really love sharing SF9 with people so it made for a nice little reference to help! Haha that video... Those poor guys... It was so funny but I also felt so bad for them. 😂

I haven't been reading much recently, but earlier this year I read this YA dystopian book called Unwind! It was really dark but also really interesting, I liked it a lot! How about you?

I'm so behind on anime but I love some of them out there, I could ramble forever just talking about my favorites. I did watch the first season of Spy x Family, it was cute!

I don't game much these days, but I like a lot of the Nintendo stuff like Legend of Zelda, Animal Crossing, Pokemon, but also smaller series like TWEWY, Style Savvy, all sorts of games!

My mom wanted me doing something active and after looking around she somehow found Irish dance, I'm not sure how. XD This was back when I was a kid so I don't really remember. Dancing is so fun I love it a lot!!! Ooo those are really cool!!! I'm nowhere that good I just do it for fun, but I love seeing good dancers, it's so amazing to see all the things they do!!!

Hey, I just finished reading your fanfics for the genderfluid au. Great stuff, love how Miho blackmailed her uncle G.

I was just wondering, how and when did the other travelling companions found out about Ash/Miho?

I know Brock knew basically from the start but Misty wasn't informed about his/her/their situation yet. I'm kinda curious about the later companions to.

Honestly the Genderfluid AU is very everywhere for me but i do have better going for it uwu

Misty finds out in the Orange Islands, right befoee the Johto trip. She gets suspicious when Ash sort of leaves by himself and finds out then and there.

As his best friend, she goes to Tracey and basically tells him a story of herself and if he can't acceot it he's out.

Thats around the time that Ash finds out Misty is Trans and was too scared to tell Brock or himself.

Tracey doesnt have gender identity issues but they find out that he's Aromantic and doesnt really understand Relationships.

Gay lil trio they are.

The other companions findnout with time, especially as Ash grows more confident.

In Unova, Kalos and Alola, he sort of scuttles back a lot, and has to relearn how to be opennwith himself. He can't depend on Brock or Misty, he's got to do it on his own.

It helps a lot when they Meet Cynthia and Dawn again in Unova, and Dawn provides that crutch.

For Kalos, it's actually Bonnie that finds out first when she demands Miho take care of her brother. Miho offhandedly mentions that she takes care of him very well- and while that slips both Serena's and Clemonts notice, Bonnie picks up on it incredibly fast.

Like a kid, it takes her a bit to understand bt when she does she doesn't mind at all. She likes when Miho does her hair and when Ash braids it. Though, Bonnie does spill when Clemont and Serena are curious on why Ash and Miho never meet. She's just so surprised people would hate them just cause they're who they are.

Serena... Serena is great, though it takes her a lot longer to understand and she has to battle against her own homophobia (Being raised primarily in Kanto was not good for her). But when she and Miho are stuck together, she slowly understands and starts to explore herself. Realizing that- hey- she doesnt actually like boys, and she likes Girls instead.

Clemont is easier, a scientific approach on how most transgender people are and he accepts it fairly well.

In Alola, it just takes some time is all. Ash wants to make a good impressions, especially since they dont want to leave Alola.

All does go well :3

Journey's is one i havent thought of tbh, but thinking about it now, Nonbinary Goh and Genderfluid Ash make such a powerhouse friend group. Both of them making sly jokes to each other that if any other person made they would shut them down fast.

Goh: Ah- yes, i identify as a toaster today

Ash: So do i gotta wait for you to go bing to gimme my toast?

I really love the poly headcanons they are so sweet.... (or don't but that's part of it and i think the tot boys+MC deserve all the love the world has to give).

But, liking it or not, our 4 beloved boys are kinda complicated (that's what makes them perfect). Plus I never thought about how people get in poly relationships. So i was thinking, how do you think they all get into a polyrelationship together?

hi, two anons!! im glad you guys liked my nxx team polycule stuff!! i'll answer these in one go, my "headcanon" (in quotes because i think this kinda turned into a character analysis/minific of sorts HAHA) being what first anon asked, How They Get Together.

heads up, wc of this is 1.9k words long so buckle up for a bit of a read jfsjdfkjbf

because first anon, youre right!!! the boys are stupendously complicated which i love so so much but canon has also shown us clearly that each of the boys' quirks and habits and tendencies causes a lot of (mostly played for laughs) friction. the bickering, the backhanded insults, the "im the best one here" preening contests. theyre all SOOOO RIDICULOUS and it is hilarious but yep! the boys r complex!! and that means this beautiful ship, imo, has a lot of phases to get to the actual romantic relationship bit.

how they get together, in my opinion, starts because of mc.

not in the sense that she matchmakes them all, but like.

phase 1 of the nxx team polycule is this:

through being in love with her (which we all know the boys 100% are), each of the boys come to terms with their own flaws and weaknesses. it's very apparent to me in all the story thus far that these boys are flawed as hell, it's very compelling but even more compelling to me is how all of them also do intense mental gymnastics to Not Confront Those Flaws. like, marius is a dickbag always teasing and toeing the line of insincerity, vyn is a controlling mf who always tries to sway situations to his benefit, artem is so repressed to the point that he has genuine trouble with emotions, luke is a self sacrificial bastard and also a huge hypocrite about how no, actually, hes the only one that should be hiding his pain and being dishonest, no dishonesty from other people!! in the beginning of the story, all the boys have their flaws and seem to have just kinda...not addressed how those flaws are harming them and the people around them.

and then mc rolls around and they all fall in love with her. and she sees those flaws and she doesnt let them slide. she challenges the boys in her own ways to see another side of the situation, to acknowledge what theyre doing. she doesnt want to get rid of flaws, thats impossible and also not cool. she just has this beautiful hope for like, all of humanity, that goodness can prevail with the right work. so when she sees her beloved nxx boys, she believes that for them as well.

which leads to phase 2 of the nxx team polycule:

the boys, more aware of themselves, become more aware of each other.

they werent Unaware of the others of course. it's just that they didnt like...truly connect on a personal level just yet. they saw the other teammembers with their emotional armor and flaws and saw a wall that wasnt worth looking past.

but after mc makes them realize that hey, flaws arent the end of the world actually, it's alright and the person behind them may just be worth it, the boys like. end up understanding the others. A LOT OF THIS BIT IS UNINTENTIONAL, ON THEIR PARTS KJDSBFS. like they stumble into understanding each other by accident, they didnt plan it, but over the course of nxx investigations, it's inevitable that they end up seeing the depths of the others. i delve into this a little bit in my fanfic "filler eps of the lost gold" where the boys are just going thru their actions and then trip over another boy's fears or desires and through that, gain a deeper understanding mutually.

and with understanding, sometimes, comes trust.

phase 3 of the nxx team polycule goes like this:

everybody in this team, whether they like it or not, whether they know it or not, has a heart that wants to give love so desperately.

marius lives in a world full of snakes so he cant have his heart on his sleeve for his own protection. vyn wants to be seen as perfect and the heart is inherently messy so he holds it back. artem for a very very long time was focused on work and success and achievement that he neglected his heart. and luke has been giving love all his life in a sense but in a way thats hidden.

all these tendencies that are brought upon their life circumstances results in this: they want to love honestly but they havent been able to do this

until mc. and all of them want to push back whatever fears or patterns their life has instilled in them because they see her and see somebody so unwaveringly good that all their hearts begin giving love to her to make her happy and to make themselves happy as well.

but heres the thing. the boys dont just see mc. by this point, they have connected and understood and come to trust each other as well, and the consequence of that is that They Can See Each Other Now Too, Truly.

and heres the thing. all of the boys are unwaveringly good as well.

one by one, each of the boys realize that what they feel for the other boys in the team starts to...change. yeah theyre all friends, they pick on each other a lot of the time, but the bedrock of the relationship is solid and strong now. but when marius is with luke, marius sees a light inside of luke so bright that he seems unaware that he gives off. when artem is with vyn, artem sees a goodness inside of vyn that hesitates to make itself obvious and known because vyn is scared of getting hurt thanks to it. all of them see the other and their goodness and, unbidden, their hearts want to give love to each other as well.

and because theyre all a bit stupid in their own way theyre like, huh, weird! wonder why this feeling is so familiar! and yet i cant seem to name it...and then they all independently compare these feeling with the feelings they have for mc, a feeling they do know the name of, and theyre like.

WAIT.

THESE FEELINGS ARE...VERY BASICALLY EXACTLY WHAT I FEEL FOR MC.

which only means one thing: theyve fallen in love with everybody else

marius: //goes to his studio to Think and sees that a bunch of his recent art actually had little crumbs of these feelings already, etched into the brushstrokes and scenes. has an emotional crisis about it

vyn: //records a 1 hour long entry in his audio diary to examine and gain control of his feelings but by the end of the hour all he knows is that he wants to hold these people and be held by them

artem: //quite literally just bluescreens, artem.exe has stopped working, sits at his study and slowly, slowly, thunks his head down onto his desk, valiantly trying to ignore the fast pulse of his heart

luke: //manically vents about it to peanut who, by virtue of being a bird, doesnt get it. just keeps talking at peanut to get a grasp of it all and then lies down on the floor, overwhelmed

mc, sitting in her apartment watching some netflix: ...why do i inexplicably feel as if something very, very important has just happened?

phase 4 of the nxx team polycule is basically:

pining: extreme difficulty level

because pining is already hard when ur pining for one person. what more for an additional 3 more people. and those additional 3 more people are pining back.

and all these boys are SOOOO OBVIOUS with their romantic feelings, in their own special way. the way they show their affection to mc starts to bleed into their interactions with the others and everybody can CLEARLY SEE WHAT IS GOING ON, LOL, but also all the boys are too chickenshit to confront it, because if they confront it, what will even happen??? being in love with each other, all of them, thats going to be such a complicated fucking relationship, holy shit. it's 2030, yeah, being a polyamorous group relationship isnt completely unheard of, but sue them, theyre scared.

but mc (who i forgot to mention already knows of the boys' romantic feelings for her, shes just hasnt made a move yet on any of them because SHES IN LOVE WITH ALL OF THEM AS WELL and shes been trying to figure out how the hell to make that work, she cant bear to choose just one of them, she'd be heartbroken over leaving the rest of them behind) sees that the nxx investigation team is now all pining for each other FULLY and she kinda wants to laugh when she realizes whats going on because like, what are the chances? that this would happen? that they all found each other and their feelings fell into just the right place for nobody to be left behind?

theyre all scared, she can tell. and she is as well, she wont lie.

but shes always had a belief that goodness can prevail with the right work.

and love is one of the greatest goods out there.

phase 5 of the nxx team polycule:

It's Time For Communication, Baby!!!!!

the exact scenes of how this happens is a bit vague to me. it could go two ways: mc going to each of the boys independently to talk about feelings, hers about everybodys and his about everybodys as well. OR they have a fucking meeting about it all together and artem literally schedules it in his google calendar, or something.

either way, they like, actually talk about this. starts casual, maybe over a chill date, maybe over dinner at a nice restaurant, maybe over a walk in the park as the sun is starting to set. but where ever it happens, the end result is the same: a heart is laid out bare and it is taken in gentle, grateful hands.

marius: OKAY, NOW THAT THE FEELINGS ARE OUT OF THE WAY, CAN I PLEASE KISS ONE OR ALL OF YOU, PLEASE, IVE BEEN WANTING TO KISS U GUYS FOR FOREVER

i dont want to say it's happily ever after, once they all get together. thats not really realistic.

they all have their quirks and tendencies and habits. and those will inevitable clash against each other. theyll have their arguments, theyll get upset, theyll sulk and be angry, sometimes. but also...

theyll see each other smile and feel like their love shining so brightly. theyll reach out for another's hand and be held in such a way that makes them think that their heart is in a safe place. theyll love each other and theyll put in the work to continue loving each other. because goodness will prevail.

and they all see each other as the most good people in the world.

so whatever happens, theyll get through it together.

It only really sets it after a few months of being together that he’s actually really, really in love with your body

But after a while of contemplating his feelings, he understood it was because he was protective of you

He does little things you would never reallly notice until you actually do

Like when he takes you home after hanging out or a date, he lingers a little longer outside your door to make sure you’re inside safely

Or when you’re walking together he will make sure your walking inside the street and away from the cars

Also has a tendency to grab your waist or your hand when a group of men come your way

He just gets paranoid okay 🥺🥺🥺

And because he’s so protective, he doesn’t practically like that you’re being taken advantage of sometimes because of your kindness

Especially when it comes to other men

On a few occasions Shoto has spotted you in a sticky situation with a guy who was being a little too close for comfort

It would make you uncomfortable of course, you had a boyfriend you already loved a lot-

but you felt kind of bad just being a total bitch to this guy who desperately wanted a chance

So you’d just awkwardly laugh and smile with their stupid pick up lines, trying your best to be polite but also show you weren’t interested

But Shoto at this point has radar for when your in trouble, and just pops out of nowhere 💀

He’s not the type to flaunt his relationship by impulsively kissing you or anything like that, but he’ll show it in subtle ways

Like calling you “dear” or wrapping his arm around your waist

Honestly, the look of pure relief and comfort in your face shows more than Shoto could have ever done,,,

And that Shoto was deifnitely someone that was more than just a “guy fiend” and soemthing like that

Also Shoto would give them a look that could kill and that instantly scares the shit out anyone lmao

These dudes faces would deflate like balloons real quick, cause at this point everyone knows who Shoto Todoroki is

And how the hell can they compete with that

Instant “oh shit my bad” type energy

After those incidents, Shoto locks down way harder

He practically has you glued to his side, and he doesn’t let go

Get used to it cause for the rest of the day Shoto is gonna be following you around like some body guard 💀

does any part of four feel more left out than the others, specifically green? cause i havent seen a lot of stuff centering on green, if any at all. most of the fics ive read have to do with the other parts and green is just kinda left behind. honestly i just want more green content and angst 😅 so yeah. hope this helps spring up more ideas 😊

[Decided to take this as a prompt since it's still technically Four Weeks of Four. Green angst sounds pretty good honestly. Take some self-reflection ^u^ Also this is unedited. Let me know if I need to tag anything differently.]

Warning(s): talk of self-blame and unhealthy habits, but it's pretty brief.

For once, it was quiet at home. Everyone was still asleep, but Green found that he couldn't sleep anymore. With a quiet sigh, he sat up in the large bed he shared with the other Colors, taking a moment to smile at the sight of them cuddled close together.

Red seemed to have grabbed Blue in his sleep, huddled into his chest in his spot between Vio and Blue. The former had wrapped his arms around the both of them, his lankier frame easily encompassing the both of them. Blue had grabbed Green's shirt in his sleep with one hand while the other was holding onto Vio. It was a comforting sight.

Carefully, he peeled Blue's hand off of his shirt, trying not to startle the other awake. As he slipped out of bed and onto the chilled hardwood floor, he took a moment to check around the crowded room. The other heroes were asleep as well, and for that he was grateful.

He took a moment to count heads, Wild cuddled up against Twilight, Sky holding Hyrule and Wind close, the latter of which had a hand on Hyrule's shirt, Legend was back-to-back with Hyrule with Time laying still on his back in between Legend and Warriors, the latter of which was pressed up against the wall.

Stepping carefully around the sleeping bodies, he made his way to the stairway. Avoiding the creaky steps, he entered the main room and headed for the kitchen. He could see the sky from the window and could see that it looked to be a cloudy day. Silently he hoped it wouldn't rain. Grabbing a kettle, he filled it with water and headed to the living room, stirring the fireplace to life and setting the water to boil above it.

The quiet was nice, refreshing even, especially with how loud it could get with so many heroes in one place. They had taken them splitting quite well, especially the Veteran who had seemed to already know about it. It was relieving and allowed them to split much more often. The very fact that they could have time to be away from each other for even a short while was perfect. A fact that Green was currently making the most of.

When the kettle whistled, he quietly cursed and hurriedly took it off the fire. He walked back into the kitchen and rummaged around in the cupboard until he found a suitable mug and his box of tea. Pulling out the small wooden box, smiling slightly at the chiseled and painted green air element symbol on the front, he grabbed a tea bag and dropped it into the empty cup. When the boiling water had been poured inside, he set the kettle on a hot pad to avoid burning the wooden counter (like he had many times before to Blue's frustration).

He made his way back to the living room, a small jar of honey in one hand and the steaming mug of tea in the other. Setting the mug on a coaster, he sat and waited for it to steep. His mind seemed to be just as loud today as it had been when the four were one.

He thought about the groups' goal, to fight the Shadow that had brought them all together. His mind drifted to a similar Shadow, how he had sacrificed himself for them on their last adventure. How they had tried to find a way to bring him back, only to find no leads. How Vio had taken that fact badly and shut down nearly completely, Blue had gotten angry with even the slightest mention of the missing Shade, Red had tried to stay cheerful despite how he would quietly cry alone when no one was watching.

He had ignored his own needs then, trying to make sure everyone was okay and taking care of themselves. It took time, and in fact, it was still a work in progress as every mention of the Shadow they were chasing had them all flinch and clench their fists. He had tried to keep the peace, tried to make sure that they'd all be okay, and now that he had the time to reflect on everything, he realized he was tired.

After their adventure, he was worried that he'd lose them all, that he wouldn't be good enough or strong enough to keep them all safe and alive. The addition of eight other heroes to worry about only made his already stretched worries stretch even further.

With a start, he remembered his tea and quickly took out the teabag. He frowned at the darker color of the tea, knowing he had over-steeped it. He sighed, taking the honey and pouring in a more generous amount than he normally would. He stirred it and then took a sip, the taste not as strong as he had feared it would've been. He chuckled slightly, self-deprecatingly as he realized that maybe he needed a longer break than he thought.

He sat back against the cushion of the chair, holding his warm mug of tea and staring at the fire burning away in the hearth. Each sip of his tea relaxed him further, though not as much as he hoped it would. The quiet sounds of the fire crackling away and the wind blowing against the house was comforting, yet he felt uneasy. He could feel the discomfort of not doing enough right now to help the others growing, making him fidget, but a small part of him, sounding similar to Vio, simply stated that everyone was still asleep and that there isn't anything to do currently.

It was the truth, the only thing he could do currently was cook breakfast, but he had a feeling Red would throw a fit if he wrecked yet another of his pans. The memory of the first time that happened made him chuckle, how Red's face turned the color of his namesake as he yelled and gestured with the mishappen pan. Green had been apologetic and slightly fearful, but Red had calmed considerably when he had offered to make him new cooking tools.

His mind then turned to other memories; Blue demanding a sparring session with him several days in a row, losing often enough that he vowed to knock Green on his ass one day. Vio pulling him aside one day to get him to go on a trip to a far-off town just so he could learn about the culture and people there.

And then newer memories with the group; Sky sitting next to him and asking questions about his era, eyes sparkling with wonder at each new story of their life. Time helping them with taking down bigger opponents, offering pointers that sounded as though from experience. Twilight letting him hitch a ride on his back after he had embarrassed himself by stumbling and twisting his ankle in front of the other Colors. Warriors going over strategies with him late into the night after they had encountered several unfamiliar enemies. Legend helping them with weapon maintenance and trading stories of awful customers as they worked. Wind and Wild taking them on a little adventure to explore a new area no one had seen before. Hyrule going on an even smaller adventure with them to a Minish Village for a celebration.

Green couldn't help but smile more genuinely at each thought, each memory of simply hanging out and having fun or even doing something that he enjoyed. He finished off the mug of tea, now fully relaxed as his mind had finally drifted away from the more stressful topics. As he put the mug into the sink and put the honey away, he found that maybe it would be a good idea to stop keeping such thoughts of his worries bottled up. He would tell one of the others, starting with the other Colors.

'But for now,' he thought, finishing cleaning up after himself with a small smile and glancing out the window to the sun peeking through the clouds, 'I think I'll enjoy the quiet and distance from everyone and take a break.'

So! Descendants 3 was kinda shit and I dont like it but especially because of the ending because everybody was like "oh yeah island is open and we're all happy with no worries or implications about free villains or people being spiteful about being imprisoned for years!" In fact if anything they joked about those things.

The island is basically its own culture, I can't say how long it's been around, long enough for some almost adult kids to be about and to develop a kind of community.

The Isle is a place of poverty, people are dirty and on the street, eveyone steals from each other and most people don't put much effort into appearance upkeep (personal or of the sourounding area) not because of laziness or being "evil" but because they clearly don't have time or luxury to do such things or possibly even the clean water. Does the Isle have clean water?? How to they get electricity??? Someone tell me!

Another thing that I've noticed is easy to see but is not much explicitly said is the unique style of those on the Isle. As previously stated they don't have much but those who have the most "power" and such on the Isle are the best example of this As they have the most colourful outfits. However these outfits are often made out of patches and ripped things put together, even salvaged things like nets and chains as we can see on thing like Uma and Harry's outfits in D3 they make the best of what they've got and they do fantastic because their outfits are intricate and detailed and just tell you everything you need to know about them. Which is why it's a damn s h a m e when the original VK's ajust their style to be more like Auradon's. That's not an improvement! Be proud of where you came from!! It's like they forgot what it was like being on the Isle in D3!

Moving on, here's something that was touched on in D2 but not enough. Equality. On the Isle there is basically equal opportunity as in saying everything is shit and nome cares what gender and presumably what sexuality you are as long as you can work. Sexism is shown to be almost casual in aurodon from the looks of it, Chad makes sexist comments and litterally none else says anything or seems to see anything wrong with it except Jay who caves to pressure from peers and expectations. He does redeem himself because he's from the isle and he knows you shouldn't give a shit about anyone's gender or anything. If they can do something and ask to be included you give them that opportunity. The sexism is also implied in the way that the rule book has men written specifically in the first place and that it has taken until then for anyone but boys to be allowed on any kind of sports team. We never see it! It seems to be the hetronormative veiw where the boys do sport and girls do cheerleeding and other genders? What other genders? Never heard of that? BAD AURADON!! I bet there's so many trans folk on the island just living their lives, thinking Aurodon is the better place and not knowing that it's a cis het filled nightmare.

Okay no I'm headcannoning now, if their are now a bunch of Isle kids at auradon prep they find it fucking aweful the way all these preppy royals are treating them and make the first LGBT club in Auradon. There is lots of pushback and they get bullied a fuck ton for making themselves the most prominent queer folk in the school until a fight breaks out and the club demand that they should be treated better, taking all the evidence to fairy godmother who is very hesitant because COME ON she's never been that great she is biased to Auradon kids and if putting away those in the Isle is brought up she is all on it, she is jelly spined about doing anything against the royal kids. So the kids are like "Fine, if you won't help us we'll take this to the King himself!" Well mainly the queer mom's of the group (you know the ones I'm talking about) who lead the others and protect the anxious queers as they storm to Ben at his fucking locker and demand an audience because they are being harassed and bullied and none is doing anything. Ben had no idea there was even a LGBT club (too busy ig) and is gassed there is one for a moment before he's like "wait people are harassing you?" So Bisexual King Ben gets his lovely Bi wife and they start coming to club meetings and investing in the pins and stuff the club makes. Most club members are pleased but the queer mom's are apprehensive that this will help until some assholes come to the club to do their usual bullying only to find King and Queen Beast themselves siting there with rainbow bracelets and bi pins and all trying to have a nice old time eating their fucking cupcakes what the fuck are yall doing? The bullying dies down quick once they realise it ain't gonna fly, the other OG VK's that hear about this become members and very protective over their queer children. Did I mention Dizzy and Ceila are a part of the club? They're girlfriend's. Celia is one of the queer moms. Harry becomes one of the biggest protectors over the group as the pan dad. He's been going around snogging everyone and anyone wholl snog him everyone already knew he was queer they just didn't have the balls to try and bully him over it as much as they bullied the lil club members. But now Harry can often be seen in jackets and shit with pan and general queer patches and pins and running around with his gay children yelling "MOVE WE'RE GAY!!" He totally calls them his queer crew. Anyway as a result lots of queer royals start coming out of the woodwork, obvs Lonnie is one of them, and the club eventually serves to bring members of Auradon and the Isle close together.

Where was I? Yada yada auradon expects girls to be pretty princesses and boys to be brave knights or dashing princes. It's shit and should stop being portrayed as good. Moving on!

Food! One of the things we'll established in all movies is that the food of the Isle is shit compared to food of Auradon. The Isle has no fresh fruit which likely means its almost impossible for things to grow there which is fair because again there doesn't seem to be much fresh water and there are always clouds overhead so no sun. Maybe there is some people trying really hard to grow stuff but the general attitude of the Isle seems to be "there is no time for that" and fruits are forgotten so much that the VK's litterally don't knownwhat they are when they come across them. That and anything containing sugar. Actually it's mention by Dizzy and Celia that they enjoy the fact that the cake dosent have dirt or flies so basically food there is terrible. We don't see much food on the Isle but what we do see seems to be beans, eggs, chips and shellfish. Basically protine and carbs that can be easily stored and produced. To be fair beans are kidna good for you but they're likely a sign that if they get any imports from the mainland it is canned stuff. Prison food. There's probably some chef villain that is trying their best to make good food out of the shit but honestly the Isle dwellers should be angry that they've been deprived of good food for so long not happy they're finally been given decency.

Moving on, music! Auradon dosent have nearly as many musical numbers it seems, the Isle songs have a distinct style, to them, the villains that basically "founded" the place were masters of the dramatic songs (with backup or solo) so banging music is basically ingrained in the music's culture, even for battle as we see with the fight between Mal and Uma in D3. Meanwhile Auradon seems to have mainly romance and "I want" songs. Even Audrey's villain song is basically an I want song.

Okay let's talk about the Villains. We've established that the VK's are not inherently bad. However not all of them can be totally good and there are legit OG Villains just kinda chillin on the Isle. They've obviously lost quite a bit of their power, motivation and sanity (isolation will do that to ya as they lost everything and the VKs know no different) but deadass? They were bad guys. You can try to rehabilitate them sure but you've basically just let them free roam, they could make a runner and you wouldn't get the chance. They were also shitty patents which is brushed over/joked about in the interaction between Carlos and...man I feel bad I forgot her name deadass their relationship seemed to come out of nowhere in the second film she didn't seem interested in them at all and friendzoned them multiple times I'm pretty sure Disney did that becaue queer kids were relating to Carlos and headcanoning them as queer (which they deffinatly are) but deadass their mom is an attempted animal murderer and has hurt her child as we can see from how they're afraid of her and her rhetoric and yet it's "haha I'm afraid to meet your ma!" "Me too cus im a dog! Lol!" Fuuuuck offfffff

I think I'm running out of thoughts so here's a last one for now; with the magical barrier down a bunch of magical Villains kids should be coming out for the woodwork. We know Mal has magic basically stored in her so it's is possible, she technically doesn't need the spellbook to do magic it is just inherent to her. So with the diverse range of people from the isle there are deffinatly magic folk in there. Actually if we're following Disney movie law I saw something mentioning Jay being half Genie and yeah! He should be half Genie! Jafar got turned into a Genie he's probably only human because of the barrier! Oh also Ben should be able to go beast on command as long as he had a better beast form than he did in the movies. And give him back the beard and fangs like fuck you he looked so much better

1. Since when have you been a P1ece? I listened to Siren for the first time like early last fall, and found That's It a little later, and i remember thinking ok this is probably some well established group like their rapping and sound overall just really impressed me. (cut to surprised pika face when i found out OH THEY'RE LITERALLY ONLY A YEAR OLD)

2. What made you decide to stan P1H? i knew i liked their music but i decided to officially stan when i found out they were at FNC because n.flying is my ult, so i was like this must be a sign??? lmfao

3. Who is/are your bias(es)? jiung!

4. Your favourite era so far? in terms of music, Siren/Stand Out is my fav but in terms of looks/concept, Do It Like This/Find Out by a long shot.

5. Your favourite title track/MV? I like the MV for scared the best because the concept for it is really artistic, plus the falling rocks genuinely made me nervous so A+ for the immersive experience alkdflsdkjs

6. Your fav P1H choreo? the intro to Reset is so amazing, they are literally so in sync its mesmerizing to watch

I always love being a part of smaller fandoms because theres such a strong sense of community and dedication that sometimes gets lost in groups with huge fanbases. (in terms of like, when fanbases get bigger there can be lots of weird drama about voting or who should have won what or which fandoms are "fighting" one another but with smaller groups its like "woo!! we got a comeback!!" lmfao)It's a difficult balance, because while you want them to become successful and reach a larger audience, theres something special about stanning a newer/less well known group and feeling that camaraderie in fandom spaces.

Aries OG is the oldest! Started from only a one time character name around 2018, and then I was like "Aries is a pretty good name" and a unisex name too! Though I am a cancer but I just found out last year that aries is my moon sign so, I guess something just meant to be.

He is from my ✨original works✨, that only has so many snippets rather than the original works itself. He got cursed by the nature because of the stuff I havent come out with, and got a yearly accident that involves bones. The worst one is when he's 18: he got into a car crash that makes him wore prosthetic on his right leg. He is now fine tho! Maybe. Back in his college year he is known as the "Korban tabrak lari". Now he works at his family company.

Other Aries called him Abang since he is the oldest. Somehow he is like mama sapi's right-hand man. Other Aries likes to go to him for advice.

"Why would you go to me for advice? We are the same."

"Idk I just feel like going to you."

*sigh* "Well let's see whats the problem and resolve it together

Next one is Detective Aries Raylight from cyoa games The Wayhaven Chronicles! It's the first time I put the name Aries in a cyoa game, and the start of my interactive fiction obsession 💀

Detective Raylight has a high people skill, but he get overwhelmed pretty easily by Felix's flirt and compliments. Sadly he got kidnapped by a pshyco scientist vampire and ever since that he got scared of needles and possibly have a traumatic experience that he would not ever forget. Recently there's a hole in his apartment ceiling and his car is dying.

In the fam he tends to become the neutral police when other Aries fight each other.

Next one is Aries from a cyoa games Breach: The Archangel Job. He got so many names like this Watt Zit Tooya and sometimes he goes with Aries like other Aries. Sometimes he refers as Criminal Aries.

He was an undercover cops, task to infiltrate a criminal group. In the middle of his mission, he realize being a criminal is way more fun and he can dismantle other criminal group faster with them rather than with the law. And he also happens to fell in love with on of the leader so... yeah. Really depends and believes in luck.

I really like the story! Very contrast to Detective Aries. Though they got along pretty well with each other. He likes to pick a fight with Aries TATW.

The point is, he got isekai to a gangster movie. He help this leader of the crime family to decide the fate of the movie. With the said leader, now they get out from the gangster world and live as a movie producer. Got tangled with too much headcannon, his story start to really stray away from the original. They both like it tho.

Sibling-hate Criminal Aries because coincidentally Criminal Aries's love interest is the one who killed 5 families of NY, and Aries TATW's love interest is one of the 5 families on NY. Mama sapi already told them they came from a different dimension, but they wont listen.

i dont have as solid like. character names and such hcs for flight spririts since I havent written stuff for them, however ive still got some! these r just. whatever the hell came to mind as i wrote

long rambles below

Everyone has been friends for a while now, maybe even from childhood

Tho for light whisperer who was baby baby was a bit too young to remember it really

They’re 19, while everyone else is mid to late 20s

Still, Light whisperer was dragged around by Navigator when small bc theyre siblings !

Tinkering and Flight Guide are in a QPR, Both ID as sapphic, FG is also Grayro >:]

Tinkering likes to stay at their island and the main island, if delivering chimes somewhere else, usually someone else does that. They used to be a bit self conscious of their work but as grown to be extremely proud of it. They crafted the kalimba themself, and also composed both seasonal music sheets, theyve just got an excellent sense of tune.

Builder built Gloat’s boat, and Tinkering composed the music sheet, being commissioned by Gloat when they were younger. Builder has the draft of Chimesmiths work on hand. I wanted to tie the similar sheets together in a way u know :]

Flight guide actually created most of the crews outfits, including their own

Not spirits but I wanted to put these here, the individual windpaths hcs:

Underground Cavern: More used for creature migration, viable for trade but more hassle than it’s worth

Hermit Valley: Was used to send supplies to Dreams Village and Valley, hence why the boats go all the way up to the top, insteas of just for skiing/sliding, sucked for hermit ASHDHHDH

Prophecy Cave: The prophets actually traveled a great deal to spread their wisdom and teaching, so they had a small route, small groups of birds use it also

Sanctuary Islands: Creature migration mainly, the Sanctuary and Windpaths have a close connection in caring for the welfare of light creatures

Starlight Desert: Was originally a trade route! As well the path to Eden was used for creature migration. It used to be similar to how Isle was in the switch trailer, farmers market on the outside of Golden Wasteland basically, but since the destruction of shit and the wall breaking, letting vaults bullshit leak out, its what it is now

Forgotten Ark: Was not a trade route, rather when the storm was at it’s peak and the end was near, they still actually tried to reach out and find the ark, because it had not arrived at all, and word of a big important ship like that going missing is huge. So they searched, it was a rescue mission, but by the time they found the ark it was too late :(

Speaking of connections, Flight guide has a lot of them. They knew Enchantment Questgiver beforehand (also one of the reasons they searched waaauh), and now since the paths are reopened they like to have tea together, Enchantment feels guilt abt their wasted efforts and quest four, but flight guide just “shsshshhshhhhhhhh noooo” They’re also close with Sanctuary guide! Especially with shared missions and ideals. Quest 5 was actually Sanc guide seeing if they could try to help, sending in the big boy Manta… The three of them have tea actually bc enchant and sanc r very close in my hc also.

Light Whisperer trained under Sanctuary Guide and is friends with bird whisperer, doublefive and spin dancer!

Slumbering Shipwright and Talented Builder are cousins

Tinkering Chimesmith and Laughing Lightcatcher are also great friends, lots of prairie connections,

Flight guide was Ayins apprentice too yes, that’s how the windpath islands are floating, they knew Ayin well. And they knew Resh too.

They used to be close, but stopped seeing eye to eye.
