I'm so fed up seeing videos about "the downfall of mcyt" or "mcyt history" and then the creator only mentions DSMP and maybe a few youtubers they watched. Like... there. are. so. many. creators. who. counted. or. count. as. mcyt. Here are my thoughts.

There are so, so many who counted, and still so many who count. And yeah, DSMP is an important part of MCYT history, but it's so recent in comparison. Like. Minecraft is a cockroach, it will go through so much shit and still be alive and active. Yes, there are the names who bring or brought down the name of MCYT, but in comparison they've always been such a small part of the community. They need to be remembered for their bad actions, or illegal in some cases, but defining the community by them is not good. Nor is just using one fucking smp.

I have watched, or attempted to watch, those types of videos on the history or the downfall etc., and I always complain internally about it. THERE ARE SO MANY PROMINENT MINECRAFT CONTENT CREATORS THAT FUCKING MADE CONTENT. Some don't make Mc (minecraft) content anymore or they rarely do but it doesn't mean they shouldn't be mentioned. (Yes I know, it's an impossible task to talk about all of them, but mentioning three or four as "the og mcyters" or "the old popular mcyters" just angers me)

DSMP I would say helped with the mc resurgence, but I can say similar to SMP live and SMP earth. I count SMP live as pretty important since I think people started watching the streams and videos from that smp and when DSMP happened people treated the content the same and watched it a lot. People started watching again, then with the boom of content in the covid lockdown people watched more. It wasn't just DSMP though.

Listen if you want to do a video about how DSMP affected you or the minecraft community, sure yeah that's a video to make. If you want to do a video on a specific few ytbers who you watched and how they affected the community yeah sure that's a video to make. To say "these are the three main" that's for you. To you they were the main three. To make the video of "all of mcyt history and mc as a whole" and mention 3 people......... and then DSMP.................... I don't understand you.

I've been a MCYT fan for years and years. As a child and as an adult. From E for everyone videos to watching videos that fucked with my innocence and just exposed me to shit I shouldn't have been watching at the time. Year after year watching different types of videos and different creators. Supporting people and finding out I shouldn't, and supporting people and them being good people. To challenge videos, parkour, adventure maps, droppers, role playing, role playing, let's plays, tutorials, modded content, horror content, hide and seek. So many different types of content exist for mc, and I've been a watcher for a lot of it.

DSMP should not define MCYT. There is too many people who have made content for me to just accept that.

Hold people accountable for their actions, do not define a large community by a few people, and if you want to talk about your favorites affect in the community go right ahead but please don't call them the most popular or most important. Some people might never of heard of them. (I am thinking of the do you know this mcyt blog)

y'know, i do think that actors are probably the closest that humans will ever get to a shapeshifter because sometimes i'll go through an actor's filmography and be totally taken aback by the sheer range of roles they've played and how violently dissimilar one role is from the other, so much so to the point that i'll literally forget that they played someone else and oh my god

She was brought here to Kirchberg into the hospital and the boy snuck away from the boarding school every day to visit her. And one day he was caught by the boarding school director. And he got grounded.“

Martina: „Couldn’t he just say what was up?“ Bökh: „No, because it was a very… cold and stern man whom he didn’t trust. And Robert in turn knew from his father, who was a doctor at the hospital, that the boy’s mother was fighting for her life there. So he offered his help."

Bökh: „And so every night he layed in the boarding school bed in place of the boy. So that he could visit his mother. And then they became really good friends. Even had a band together. They weren’t all that bad.“ (sighs) Bökh: „I certainly don’t need to tell you who this boy was, right?" All of the kids in unison: „You, Herr Bökh.“ Bökh: „Exactly. The kids nod.

Bökh looks at his watch.

Bökh: „Alright. I need to get a bit of work done now.“ Martina: „But what happened to Robert?“

Bökh slumps back in his seat with a heavy sigh.

Bökh: „Ach. Robert, he… I think he later studied medicine in the city. Ah, we unfortunately lost touch.“

Jo: „Why?“ Bökh: „… Well, that- That happens sometimes when you become an adult, then… suddenly, your closed loved ones are gone.“ Jo: „… What, just like that?“

Bökh nods silently.

Bökh: „… Mhm.“ Matze: „How sad… I think friends should always stick together.“ Bökh: „Yeah, exactly.“ Jo: „Can’t you prevent that somehow?“ Bökh: „Yes. We need to look out for each other. Ok?“ Bökh: „Alright. I need to get a bit of work done now. Take your lemonades with you.“

I will say one of the funniest parts of this last hospital stay was accidentally frazzling my nurses and doctors on accident

#first i was told to name all my diagnosis so i did and then when they were on poke number 3 for IV access #i suddenly remembered i had epilepsy XD #and so i was like 'oh! i forgot i have epilepsy!' and my nurse gave me the most DONE expression ive ever seen #their was a doctor that was in their that knew me too and she went 'oh yeah you do huh?' and wrote it down XD #then when i was going under for my procedure i had to have multiple different meds before hand as well as precautions in place #and so everyone was running around trying to get these meds and then when they were wheeling me back #we once again forgot about my epilepsy XD and the nurse notice and she was like 'wait you have epilepsy! did you get that med' #and so that happened but then once we got in the operating room they had pushed the anesthesia already but they were bickering back & forth #going 'get her on her back' 'no he likes them being on their sides' 'no thats the other doctor' 'is it?' 'i think it depends' #*walks over and looks at my chart again* *other guy hands me mouth piece to put in* *other guys walks back over* #'do you have trouble breathing on your back' *me with anesthesia already pushed and in my system* 'hwell ow at i an-' #*realizes mouth piece is still in my mouth and removes it so i can talk* 'oh yeah i tend to d-sat at night when i sleep' #*nurses realizing im going under finally* 'get her on her side! get her on her side!' #and then i blacked out XD #i love pre-op so much just because its so hilarious with what happens #virus rambling #anyways sometimes the hospital is fun the staff makes it homey and fun

Tails doesn't tell them when his birthday is. Reason being that he doesn't know! He's an orphan and tbh never really had anyone to celebrate with. His birthday probably gets brought up around the triplets birthday. They're all talking about their birthday and not very subtly dropping hints for things they want (some of them aren't realistic considering they're on the run, but they can have their fun hshsjsks) and one of them realizes oh. We don't know Tails birthday. So of course they ask him, because they want to celebrate it as soon as it comes!! Tails just goes like idk. The fall? They end up celebrating their first birthday together with Tails, then together they decide a date to celebrate as Tails birthday (let's say the day sonic found him 👍 I'm a sucker for that stuff)
