While they’re quite old in ghost terms, Verda has never really gone to the human world before.

So, they got curious and one thing led to another and now they’re here. Floating around from place to place, exploring.

Verda stopped dead in their tracks when they feel a call for help coming form another core.

And not just any other ghost core. No, it’s a baby core calling for help!

Well of course Verda has to go check it out and help the poor distressed thing.

And if they end up becoming the new ghostly parent to a recently formed baby ghost?

Well, Verda believes that they’ll be perfectly fine taking care of their new child.

All he knows is that he got in a though spot in a fight without back-up and then a glowing green floating blob thing showed up that has refused to leave since.

It somehow got him out of the fight safely and now it keeps following him around. No matter what he tries, he can’t get rid of it.

He even tried shooting it, only for it to happily eat the bullets!

He glances at the blob.

Well… the little guy does look quite cute…

It seems to notice he’s looking and, while it’s hard to read its body language or facial expression, he gets a distinct feeling of happiness-calm-reassuring from it that leaves him slightly rattled.

Oh the things I would do...

He wouldn't even ask for anything in return. "Just doing my job sweetheart" he tells you when you mumble out a quiet thanks. As if he doesn't lay behind you while you sleep and positively purr with how well he's taking care of you. Price strikes me as a man who has to make sure his proverbial pack is well taken care of, whether that's you or the 141 doesn't matter. He positively preens when you tell him he's good at this, at taking care of you. Not that he would ever let you know that, but the 141 sees it when they drop off extra medicine.

"You're really, uh, goin' the extra mile, huh?" Soap asks passing off the pharmacy bag.

"Hm," Price grunts, "hadn't noticed." And it's not like Soap can say anything else the way Price glares at him as soon as he opens his mouth to tease his captain. It doesn't matter if other people think he's over protective or fretting over you too much, all that matters is Price taking care of you and doing it well. Although seeing your fever hazy eyes smiling up at him is almost a reward, you're so cute when you're reliant on him.

im not sure what happened to me but suddenly i love queen ripple and she’s my new dress up doll

anyway, let’s talk about her!!

taking the fact that ribbon’s name is ribbon entirely too far (and going off their designs) i think it’d be cool if ripple star fashions leaned into frills, bows, and long or exaggerated silhouettes

since the planet is literally just a heart shape i imagine their aesthetics lean into that sort of romantic and elegant vibe. a lot of ivory, pinks, and reds

(ripple dresses up a little different to see her friends tho)

also flower and butterfly motifs. because they’re fairies of course <3

think it’d be a little ironic if butterflies were a symbol of beauty and all that…

also she��s friends with carol and dedede. they can go to pta meetings or something /j

(taranza can come sometimes too because he’s cool and it makes sense to me)

btw ripple star probably exports a lot of silks (because silkworms in a land of butterflies feels right) and luxury items whereas dreamland is more agriculture focused + maybe some livestock and furs

…yeah i’m saying these places reflect their rulers basically. ripple star can be a little more traditional and whatnot. that’s what makes ripple so endeared to her dreamland friends—they’re silly! and yeah, tragic princess angle, it’s my favorite trope—i think that would really pull at her heart

i won’t get into that right now, but i gotta imagine getting possessed gives you a lot to think about lol

Listen the thing about the final is, even if they are planning this big "This is the Bad Place" moment later and they are going to "reveal" that Gabriel was a monster all along... This is still a show aimed at children. Now I dont know much about kids and I don't want to treat them as dumb, but I just don't feel like most kids will get the nuance to know that Gabriel was still the bad guy the whole time? That he was NOT actually redeemed? If even WE were confused by the show's intention then it seems really likely that a lot of kids will watch it and take it at face value thinking "oh so this makes up for the bad things Gabriel did, hes good now" and that's just not a message I want anyone to internalize. I might be able to get excited about this subtle psych horror plot if this was a show actually intended for me, but even if there's a big adult audience there's an even bigger kid one. Saying that they are going to fix things in season 6 doesn't change what they did here, and how many kids just catching this on their local cartoon channel might never see the fix? I don't know, personally I just don't feel like teaching kids bad principles so that you can dramatically reveal they were bad principles later doesn't seem like a good idea. I WANT to imagine that every little 7-year-old watching was screaming "No!! Bad man! They shouldn't make him a statue! He's bad!" at their tv but... did they?

Excuse the YouTuber in the corner I'm too lazy to switch to a different video but, it's probably a pretty easy conclusion to come to that KH might function off a somewhat stable time loop but nothing has really made it feel blatantly obvious than realizing that actually, since Ansem SoD sent Young Xehanort to Scala, that would mean there would have to be a starting timeline where the first SoD went back to start the loop, meaning there has to be a timeline where Xehanort never left Destiny Islands MEANING there has to be a timeline where SoD never existed, and as such neither did Xemnas and Terranort never happened along with basically everything else. So are we in fact confirming that KH does indeed function off a stable timeloop that never truly "started" somewhere and has just always been this way, or what in the world could have happened to still lead Xehanort to Scala without interference? Cuz now I have to wonder, if we're going by stable timeloop, then either Sora creates the tear in time every loop effectively creating endless ones over and over which could lead to a bigger problem(or not a problem at all if it's supposed to happen??) OR this is somehow the first deviation, which doesn't feel likely considering obviously Quadratum and Srelitizia being there seems to be decidedly factored into the equation here, but maybe I'm wrong. Maybe it hasn't been. Or maybe the problem is that Sora's genuinely not supposed to be there. Idk where I'm going anymore, but basically if time started somewhere and it hasn't always been a loop, how did we get HERE to the point in the screenshot where SoD/practically everything was able to exist to "create itself" essentially??? And I don't think that's possible without outside intervention, so it's gotta be a stable timeloop!

#(and heres how i can prove MoM is future Sora from the past cuz time loops back around!!!) no i dont wanna make it about that even tho i do #but also now i wonder how MoM meeting young nort even factors into anything when it feels like dark road is the reason he went down his path #like. what further push could meeting MoM have possibly given him that dark road didnt???#especially since its before the exam #granted imo nort seemed so absent emotions wise from everything happening in DR that i feel like it didnt really affect him at all #i think some interal dialogue from him would have helped tremendously cuz hes just so blank during the whole story #like it does fit his personality as the quiet guy but like. it makes it look like he doesnt care about anything happening #so i mean. if he kinda didnt then yeah maybe the MoM meeting did help push him along #granted i dont remember half the dialogue and ive barely started the video the screenshot is from so like. let me cook before you correct me #i'll correct myself when i get there and remember all the dialogue lol
