I know you said something about Perry's proc last time, but I'm curious to hear more about it! What does "proc" mean exactly? Does it truly make em immortal? 🤔

"Proc" by itself is more of an Action than a Thing. Perry "grey procs" whenever ey start to dissociate. What it does depends on how deep into an existential struggle Perry is currently.

Ey have accidentally dragged toons into the grey through light procing, be it through a teleport or ey're standing too close to a wall. In more severe cases, toons that catch a glimpse of something "wrong" in Perry's gaze suddenly find themself awakening with a jolt in their estate, having abruptly disappeared out of thin air where they once stood. Severe cases are infrequent, but Perry has been shown to be capable of modifying the fundamental attributes of others (out of eir control what exactly the extent of this is, though. Such as accidentally turning eir best friend into a Shyster because they both passed through the Lawbot HQ doorway at the same time while Perry was undergoing high procing.)

Perry's procing also affects emself, however. Times where ey'll suddenly come to a standstill and abruptly blipping out of thin air to everyone else. While other toons simply awaken back at their estates though, Perry...

Ey don't know what this means, but ey get frozen still staring at whatever this is for a few seconds before waking back up at eir estate.

Of course, this is just one example.

The immortality on the other hand isn't caused by procing, that's just a side-effect of the corrosion ey have from being in The Grey for too long. And it's like... less true immortality, and more the fact ey can die, but ey'll just be brought back after a few minutes due to The Grey basically constantly redrawing em.

Ey remember what happens whenever ey die, it's not exactly pleasant.

2017 Napa Valley A Cappella Extravaganza — VoicePlay live performances

Three years after their previous appearance, VoicePlay returned to northern California as the professional headliners for the annual high school and collegiate vocal festival in Yountville.

J.None was excited to hit the road with the guys after performing with them at Disney World for the previous two months.

.

When you're singing for other a cappella singers, it's hard to go wrong with a little musical theater. VoicePlay has plenty of Broadway material in their repertoire, and this was the most recent addition at the time.

As Geoff mentions in the intro, the guys had recorded this song as a collaboration with AJ Rafael in October, and the video premiered on his YouTube channel a couple weeks before this performance.

Trivia:

The guys originally recorded this countdown live in the studio, where they could do as many takes as they wanted. It's even more impressive seeing them perform it in front of an audience.

This video is missing the very beginning because the fan who recorded it got over-excited about them actually performing the song live. But how could they possibly resist singing the theme to one of the most beloved TV shows set in San Francisco when they were just north the city itself?

Perry Winkle and Lemmie Breeze!

Perry Winkle is a singer, mostly talented in operatic songs. The problem is, they have really bad social anxiety, to the point where they just can't muster the courage to talk at all. For someone so nervous, its odd that their most comforting space is on the stage.

Then there's Lemmie Breeze! A ticket booth employee for the train station! Lemmie wants to be a conductor, but has really bad motion sickness, so they simply handle the tickets. They absolutely love trains, and works hard to one day actually work inside one! Insert a frog joke right here.

Some extra doodles include

Lemmie's steam effect. When flustered, angry, or stressed, Lemmie's ears puff out steam, making train whistle noises.

He doesn't need a mouth to give kisses, I think. Just enough confidence and trust to gently poke you with his chain. The added bonus of him quietly saying "Kiss." with each one is very charming.

However.

Allowing him to indulge in the fun toon logic of "doing the impossible while facing away from the camera/the camera's not in view" is VERY funny.

Anyone who asks how it happened are granted the answer of "ey go nonverbal thinking about it before ey're able to describe it"
