So hey long time no see, just popping in to say that this video by Official_TVC is bullshit.

So summary + thoughts:

Video starts off with defintions on different types of stalking & they say Vivienne has experienced all this kind of stalking. Then goes on to say its 2 individuals doing this stalking and they we the viewer doesn't need to know them, Official_TVC has done a lot of research on them and we should should trust Official & their word without evidence because apparently they retweeted something on twitter & it was a tumblr post thats supposedly exposed Vivienne's siblings, personal things ect. All this is hearsay by you, it shouldn't make the average viewer trust your word. Yes I've seen things but that was from posts I've seen.

Aside -honestly Official should be questioning the anon asks we get on here, some of the asks contain some questionable info like how do you get that info. People get asks on here containing info, people don't go out & hunt all Vivienne's private life, we receive stuff thats how things come to light, OTHER PEOPLE SEND US STUFF.

All the background of the video is helluva boss/hazbin scenes coupled with music from respective shows. No evidence, not even heavily censored evidence to protect Vivienne, just Official_TVC talking & basically saying "trust me bro I did research, believe me". This is heinous accusations, individuals you are talking about & you give nothing. It could be lies for all people know, I don't even believe & I've seen the things you're referring to.

Continued, the stalkers, the 1st one is a "troll" according to Official_TVC & the second is supposedly so bad they were quote " has been 15 ft from vivziepop", no backing on that 15ft statement, Official_TVC just states this. All this stalking, entire pages made is because of a ship. Leaking show stuff (aside again, is GIVEN TO US VIA ANONYMOUS ASKS).

They carry on to say essentially all this hate talk on Viv on YT is cos she's popular, they got nothing of meaning to say on Viv cos they hate her so much they can't talk about her positively. They then mention a person has a never ending stream that just feeds misinformation other YouTubers & quote "on the precipice of wanting to strangle a woman (Viv) who made the crime of making demons gay". Wtf does that mean, who has this never ending stream of feeding misinformation to other YouTube, who & wtf are you talking about.

Anyway, goes on to compare spindlehorse workplace allegations to Amazon (yes ironic) & how Amazon treats its workers really bad... do I need to say more. Goes on to say everyone ragged on Viv because hazbin hotel is on Amazon, Amazon is bad & quote by Official_TVC is cos "everyone looks for an excuse to hate". Ok now I'm giving evidence on why people ragged on Viv for prime since you give jackshit.

Amazon/prime is currently being boycotted, its on the bds list why people were saying to pirate hazbin. Not some bullshit reason Official gave on it being mindless hate. Here is a video explaining why people are boycotting Amazon:

Official carrys on to say stalker 1 did 3 things, doxxed Vivienne, & in their words if you go to said person's page Official states "im pretty sure they know where vivziepop lives". That is speculation, thats your opinion cos no evidence is provided or can be for that matter cos this is what YOU think. Dropping as Official says "nuggets" of info on Viv's siblings University, their work (this info was from a sibling's linked in page, public info). Can I say aside, I know her sibling's names. And if you know someone's name you can easily find out what uni they went to, if you know my name & search me up you know what uni I go to its in the public on their linked in, social posts ect.

They go on to talk about how terrible leaking Viv's shows are, which idgaf. Amazon is a zionist corporation I'm pirating anything of Vivienne. Even invincible which I love, pirated it. Fans should too (since I see a lot of fans with free palastine in bio but still pay for prime). Anyway thats on them.

TW: talks of sexual harassment. So Official doesn't want to give more info on this individual which I respect & understand. However they say stalker 1 is sexually harrassing this person, sending content of a sexual nature all because the victim in this situation didn't agree with stalker 1 on the stalker's sentiments on hazbin hotel. I understand protecting the victim but my soul you're literally protecting the perpetrator. Expose them, you keep staying stalker 1 & 2 CALL THEM OUT. Protect the victims but expose the perpetrators.

They go on to stalker 2, who know stalker 1. Stalker 2 supposedly went to the hazbin premiere. They were there to keep an eye on vivziepop Official quotes. No evidence of this quote or info just them relaying it. Again this is all your words against what. Yeah that is concerning it really is but substantiate this evidence & quotes. This is the 1st time I'm hearing about this so I would like to know more on this & this heinous person. But you don't give any evidence. Official says " these people need to be stopped", how can they be stopped. You give no names, no info or evidence, its wishful thinking you saying this. I'm harping on and on on about Official gives no evidence but its so flipping frustrating hearing them spout all this WITH NOTHING to back their words.

TW again: Mentions of suicide and Shay a fan bullied by the fandom who then took their own life. Know a lot of people are still saddened by what led to Shay's passing why I mention this.

Official says stalker 1 is using the death of Shay to entice fruther harrassed on Vivienne. Its "apparently now", huskerdust fans went after Shay with heinous harassment & Shay subsequently ended their life, may they rest in peace. Official claims stalker 1 says Vivziepop is directly responsible for Shay's death. Shay's death was worded as "apparently" but stalker 1 using Shay's death to pin it on Vivziepop is stated as a fact. How disgusting can you be someone died & its apparently so to you but your word of mouth should be considered fact, fuck off. Official then goes on to say... sighs quote "we do not hold politicians accountable when they massacre people of other countries... bloodlines don't exist but we don't blame the politicians pushing the buttons".

Ok wtf, yes we do we blame Biden & other politicians & presidents for pushing the figurative & literally buttons on massacring Palestinians & other minorities, WE DO so wtf are you talking about. I honestly hate Official at this point because wtf are they saying. I don't blame vivziepop on Shay's death, even though when there was attempts to reach Vivienne on what was happening to Shay, maybe the channels they used like email didn't get the message across unfortunately. What I absolutely hate is when fans, like official now use Shay's death as a pawn in relation to people hating on Viv. Fandom Problem #4439:

When people try to "both sides" the proship anti debate, by saying stuff like "well I've actually seen both sides harass the other, so they're basically the same."

In reality, what proshippers mean when they talk about anti's harassment is numerous well-documented cases of targeted harassment campaigns, false accusations of serious crimes, threats of violence, doxxing, stalking, and suicide baiting.

What antis mean when they talk about harassment from proshippers is "Someone wrote a fanfiction about characters I don't like, and had the GALL to post it on the same website that I also use, and after I clicked on it, the words inside of it landed on my eyeballs and caused me to feel upset, clearly this was a personal attack directed at me, a total stranger?!"

"I purposely spread misinformation about a person to make them look bad, and got called out for it?? Clearly I'm the victim in this situation!?!"

"I told someone to kill themself, and now people are acting like I'm some sort of meanie, when I'm really not??"

"Wow, I sent someone a message where I called them a pedo freak, and they actually blocked me?? How rude"

Again, this isn't a "both sides" situation BECAUSE proshipper's philosophy is "leave people alone" and antis is "everything is my business".

Now, I won't try to pretend that NO ONE who identifies themself as a proshipper has ever taken things too far and harassed or threatened antis. But when this does happen, other proshippers are quick to call them out and shut them down. The thing is, these are isolated incidents in the proship community, but antis? They don't have a concept of "too far." They openly wish death on us every day. Harassment, fear, intimidation, hate is their ONLY tool. That is their plan A, B, C and D through Z. They really do not have ANYTHING else at their disposal. They don't know how to do anything else. For the most part, many proshippers just avoid antis altogether, but when they do come into contact and disputes do arise, proshippers are the ones trying to patiently use logic and reason to try to get them to open their minds. And when that doesn't work (it usually doesn't, because antis aren't logical or reasonable) we just use our handy dandy block button, because life is too short and we have better things to do than waste time trying to explain the simplest concepts to someone so dedicated to not understanding anything.

this is just a theory (i haven't looked into this bit that much) but I feel like the reason that misinformation is so wildly rampant in online communities about ADHD (probably also autism) is in part because of how inaccessible actual professional information about it is.

Like, I remember before I got my diagnosis (what started off this whole thing a while back), I was looking at the CDC website description of symptoms of ADHD with my mom and. If you thought you were neurodivergent and were looking at this thing trying to see if you should get tested, its basically saying "screw you. you're either a child who is going to be here because of their parents, or an adult who is also here because of another neurotypical."

one of the criteria was literally "is often 'on the go' acting as if 'driven by a motor.'" that means absolutely nothing. you are using undefined expressions to explain something to someone who historically is not good at understanding unexplained social norms (such as expressions).

plus, its incredibly subjective. "on the go" could mean something wildly different for one person then the next. and "often" could mean "all the time every day" or "only at school" or even "every other week." not to mention the memory issues that at least a lot of the people who I know with ADHD struggle with.

someone who might have ADHD has no way of knowing if they "often have trouble organizing tasks and activities" or if that is a normal amount. there is no way for them to easily know if they "often do not seem to listen when spoken to directly."

so it seems obvious to me, that they would turn to other people with ADHD. and the easiest place to find them these days is online. thats how I started wondering if I should get diagnosed. they're probably trying to find some other way to understand or know. and since its social media and social media is rampant with misinformation, of course they are going to be fed misinformation.

people are going to tell them "you see this weird thing that you do? I do that too. and its actually because of this much larger thing. trust me." and people will. because there really isn't much of another place for them to turn. they are going to self-diagnose with every disorder under the sun to make themselves feel at home and feel like they aren't weird or wrong.

maybe i'm way off here but I think that if you want people (teens in particular) to stop turning to social media for comfort and information, you should give them other resources that are accessible. that they don't have to pay to see, that they can understand clearly, that acknowledges all the weird things that they feel bad about.

and sort of as a side note: i remember in elementary school, early on (this might have just been my school/city/state), the school set up one of those mobile classrooms on the yard and would pull kids out for like a good couple months to do eye exams. because we've normalized that kids also have eye problems and thats normal. and maybe, could we also get a small little assessment. just to see if we can find neurodivergent kids early on and get them help so that they don't suffer for years and years.

and i'm not talking as someone who has had it hard. i have had it so easy compared to so many others. i have supportive parents and get good grades, and yet, i am constantly burnt out. i constantly feel horrible. not just because of depression. maybe i'm being too radical here but i feel like i shouldn't need a 504 plan to say that if i'm having a panic attack i can leave the room. that if i'm having trouble focusing i can go to the library or somewhere else. that i can get extensions on due dates. that i can see a copy of the notes or lesson for reference. i don't know maybe i'm just incredibly radical that i think people shouldn't have to be expected to work four times as hard to get anything done and then get blamed when they don't live up to the expectation. whether or not they are neurodivergent.

Testosterone and estrogen are literally like any other medications- They come with the risk of side effects that SOME people will experience. That doesn't mean they're bad or wrong or don't work.

Everyone has different circumstances, different bodies, and different feelings.

Don't act like you're the fucking authority on transness when you're a detransitioner, because your experience is just not the norm for trans people. And you have no idea- or maybe you have every idea- that transphobic assholes will hang on every word you say to justify attacking and invalidating trans people.

Imagine someone deciding to try a food, then realizing they're allergic to it, and using that experience to tell everyone that food will fuck them up when most people are in fact not allergic and never will be. But a ton of ignorant people who have never tried or don't like the food spread the information around that the food will fuck you up, so now people are demanding this food be removed from all stores and restaurants because they themselves know basically nothing about the food other than the misinformation that was spread.

I wish I had a better allegory for this but it's really damn hard to explain this.

Detransitioners get held up on a pedestal as the undeniable proof that transness isn't real or doesn't work, and the ones who encourage that belief know fuck-all about what it actually means to be trans and are just butthurt it didn't work for them.

I'm not saying all detransitioners are bad or ignorant or are invalid, they are valid for trying something and deciding it wasn't for them, but they need to be responsible about this kind of information because it can and will be used against others.

This might be controversial but...I have this nagging thought...

There are always people here talking how lgbtq representation in fanfiction or fandon is often derided or unwelcome. I think that's pretty sad tbh and there are definitely a lot of trolls, bigots and all sorts of phobes out there.

But tbh, I think most average people are just tired of a particular type of lgbtq representative, and they seem to be everywhere, who forcefully insists that anyone not shipping m/m, anyone not going along with their trans headcanons, anyone who disagrees basically is a homophobe, bigot, terf etc. These people make preferences into a morality issue and I think other people are just tired of it and quietly leaving, not openly and enthusiastically cheering it on and sometimes just getting frustrated.

I was having a discussion on reddit the other day about something related to this and they said well, straight cis representation is like 99.9% of media so we (lgbtq) can have this one thing, and I said of course you can. You can have as much of it as you want in fandom but I don't like how cis/straight shipping gets shit on by these people. You don't have to tear something else down just to build yourself up. The vast majority of het shippers are just normal, nice people, just like the majority of lgbtq shippers but there are all these 'enlightened types' pushing their ships and headcanons and making it out like you're an enemy if you don't support them which is ridiculous.

I was lurking on a pretty big fanfiction forum a year or so ago and fanfiction hot takes came up and several people nervously put up their hand and said they wished there was more love for het shipping in fandom and fanfiction specifically, while doing huge long disclaimers that of course they love nd support the lgbtq community and are happy that all sorts of representation exists in fandom etc. And I think it's kinda sad that people feel they have to write this long disclaimer and pre-apologise for an opinion that's perfectly valid and innocuous because they're afraid of being vilified. If someone is cis/het it's not a crime for them to want cis/het content in their fandom, or for it to be viewed positively. Do you know what I mean? I'm sorry if I'm not explaining myself well -.-'

I feel like people are going to respond and say that cis/het stuff is already the majority but in fanfiction and shipping it's really not. And that's also not the point I'm trying to make. I'm trying to express frustration with people who think lgbtq orientated fan content is morally or in other ways superior to cis/het.

It even happens here. I remember when I first found your blog one of the very first asks I read was from someone acting quite smug and literally saying that het shippers are just superficial, horny self-inserters that want to seduce and bang the MC while they, a m/m shipper, were actually invested in plot and nuance and all those intelligent things that het shippers apparently don't get and that ask left a really bad taste in my mouth.

It's disheartening to see this kind of thing. Sorry again if I didn't express myself well. I'm just trying to say that if lgbtq representation in fandom space isn't getting recognition or people are avoiding it, an important reason might that people don't like feeling like they HAVE to support it or else...

It's ironic that you're sending this ask to me when one of the things I'm known for is compiling shipping statistics on FFN and Wattpad to prove that m/m is not the majority in fanfic fandom. This is one of my specific hobbyhorses. I find the constant spreading of this misinformation EXTREMELY ANNOYING.

Yes, there are lots of assholes going "ship my ship or you're not progressive", and they all suck, including the large number of them who yell at m/m shippers that we should ship het.

"I wish het ships got more love" is a fucking stupid opinion.

"I wish Wattpad had a functional search" or "I wish FFN weren't going down the drain" or "I wish the big het fandoms were less femsub" would all be perfectly reasonable takes that are based on actually seeking out het fandoms and hanging out with het fans. So would "I want more fellow hetshippers who have a queer sensibility but f/m ships". But for someone to act like there aren't massive het camps tells me they never bother to venture outside of their tiny bubble.

I have zero patience for fans who whine that their popular thing is unpopular because they're too lazy or clueless to go find all the zillions of other people who like it.

The kind of misinformation in Thumins video has seeped so far into the fandom and limited public consciousness that I seriously worry for the future of free expression. Neil Gaimen wrote a much better worded defence but basically antis don't understand that if you start supporting the ban of content that you personally find problematic and depraved those same laws will also come down on harmless content that prudish bigots don't like. You have to learn to defend the undefendable. Especially when there's no definite correlation between problematic art and actual acts which would ever justify how antis behaviour.

Nowadays I don't label myself as a proshipper or anti anti also because I know people just don't understand the term and I'm so tired of explaining it. I'll defend my stance when questioned, I just can't ignore the vastly incorrect assumptions that will be made about me.

I hate when I like a blog, and I find them funny, and was following them, to only find out that they're an endo or they support endos or both. It's genuinely just like. Why does this disorder that's consumed everything and made me lose myself and everyone else in our lives ever, get to be some sort of play-pretend, and roleplay thing for people? Why do they get to take what my brain and the body did to survive due to the abuse and other traumas we've went through and make it 'fun'? and WHY on earth do people think it's okay to lie about abuse or trauma? i dunno what to honestly think anymore; i'm just so tired of trying to find a safe space for it to be taken over by people who don't(or do) know how badly they're hurting us by lying and spreading misinformation. I'm also so done with our ex 'friend' who lied to us for 2 years about all the trauma and abuse they went through, and lied to us about all the mental disorders they had. They still consider us to be friends! We are not! They were horribly toxic! I finally had the courage once to tell them about us, and the system, and tried my best to explain things to them, and what everything that I just said meant. I still remember this because I just am so dumbfounded by this; shortly after I finished explaining the difference between genuine traumagenic systems and endos, and explaining what those terms mean, and what DID and OSDD mean, they suddenly said in a snobbish tone of voice, as if they were MOCKING us, "Oh. I think I have that."..I still feel the same dumbfoundedness to this day when I think about it. They claimed that they have DID and are a system...without doing research, or asking anymore details, or being professionally diagnosed. They were also the type of person who would lie and say, "No, you can't get mad at me for that! An alter did that! It wasn't me!" in order for no one to be able to call them out on their behavior...I'm just so tired.

Yeah… endos and their supporters keep taking a lot of things away and then want to claim that “we don’t need a safe space” and harass systems for not following what they believe and then start crying wolf and claiming they “need a safe space.” Like, no. You’re taking away resources and places where genuine systems can be and literally stealing trauma stories because you constantly force people to tell them to you because you want to use them for sympathy.

It’s hard to know what you can believe anymore.

We had a friend like that. Two of them. One of them was fairly young and it was just upsetting because she would constantly mock and act exactly like us, she even went so far as to saying she was trans and bi when the body identified as such and even started using the same sign offs we had as a means of “being similar.” This same girl was wanting us to leave our partner and saying they were going to harm them for no good reason.

The second friend we had, we had felt comfortable enough to open up to them and they went behind our back. On top of that, they had multiple people confirm that they’re a pathological liar. We had told them about being a system and had told them the basics, which they had instantly responded with them being the same, trauma dumped with no spoiler or trigger warning, and then said they knew how to work a lot of things because of role playing (everything was already set up and the way they had done everything I.e the dumping just put us so far away from them).

I wish more people would understand the harm of doing this to people. Yes, you could feel finally able to get out that you’re also a system, but not like that.

I know a lot of people might come after me for it, but just because a different alter did something doesn’t mean that it isn’t also on you. Yes, it’s hard to be like “so and so was the one that said it” but it’s still a part of you and it doesn’t excuse anything. Even with our parts that have hurt someone and someone else comes back to it, it’s still on us (all of us) to fix it and make it better. You can’t just walk away from it. It brings a lot of things down and no one will believe you after that.

I'm just very confused right now and. i don't know why I'm even writing this down. i guess i want reassurance through this existential/identity crisis of mine. i want someone to listen. idk anymore.

I recently found out that i've been lying a lot but only by accident, like. I'm going to have to explain my mental process with colors and I'm hoping it makes sense.

My memories kind of have "sets" and with those sets comes the slight "personality shifts". Those shifts are kind of like, color gradients??? Like it doesn't happen all of a sudden, not like one moment I'm red then I'm blue, it's more like. i wake up red, then throughout the day red just ever so slowly fades into orange then yellow then i sleep and wake up I'm between green and blue. And it just goes on and on and on and on.

So I have different colors. Each main color (primaries and secondaries) has their own set of memories. But it is kinda a fixed cycle, i just don't know all the colors in there, so they have a semipermanent fixed position in the gradient but also there's multiple gradients and I'm basically colorblind in this analogy. Each color can access the sets of the ones beside them, ergo orange can access red and yellows sets etc. But the details are kinda muddled. The specifics aren't really there, a lot of the details aren't clear etc.

But since they have different sets of memories that means I'm always functioning with minimum knowledge about my self and my life. And sometimes those memories are outdated.

It is not a lie if you are not aware it isn't true while you're saying it. It might be misinformation - even harmful misinformation - but it's not lying. And it's not morally wrong in the way deliberately lying to people is in most cases. You are not a monster in any sense. You may have serious issues with your memories and your interpretation of them, but that's not a moral failure, it's a mental health issue or a cognitive problem at worst

I think before I answer this it's important that we agree on what it means to be proship, or at the very least you understand what I mean by that. Proship, by my understanding, means that problematic ships are allowed to exist. Not that you think it would be healthy IRL, not that you want it to happen in canon, just that you don't mind if you or someone else thinks it's interesting to consider. I understand there's a LOT of misinformation on that topic because of antis (a phenomenon that yansim fans are very familiar with I'm sure) so I don't know what you mean by what "kind" of proshipper. The only kind I know of is what I just described.

Anyway, to explain more clearly - Yandere Simulator is a game full of disturbing content. You murder people in very disturbing ways, subject them to horrific torture, take panty shots without their knowledge, butcher a kitten, etc. Now, I'm not saying anyone has to like the game. Maybe that dark shit isn't your cup of tea and that's valid. However, antis like to say that Yandere Simulator or the problematic mechanics within it shouldn't exist solely because it's problematic. That much I disagree with and have talked about several times.

Proship is basically the same concept. No one who is proship is saying that you have to ship something problematic or wish for it to be canon, just that you can't knock other people for thinking about it. And yes I know exactly what kinds of ships that covers, my point stands. So that's why I'm confused if someone says "I like Yandere Simulator but I hate proshippers" because - how? If you like Yandere Simulator, you probably like it at least somewhat because the darker aspects of it are interesting to you. You don't mind them existing. Chat seems all over the place, and a lot of it seems like it's mostly anti-DAs. Still, don't send hateful or mean things. I also want people to know to also not attack anyone in the chat, or even the person who took hold of the url. The person who made this is only trying to egg you on to be problematic. Besides that though, in case anyone gets anxiety about what "Admin" sent, just know it's probably just a scare tactic. Don't believe it right away just because it says "Admin." People do this kind of stuff all the time to spark fear.

And then below the chat, the person explains what occurred with the carrd, explaining how the carrd was originally hacked into by a "hero", who was just a genshin person. The person now who holds the url is not the same person, and is the one who made the carrd how it is now.

After that, it mentions how the person is fine with kinning, but is against medical misinformation. They are saying basically DAs aren't a thing, and it's actually kinning. I don't really care much about what people think of Delusional Attachments, and I will admit I do believe they exist. The whole reason I'm making this post is to let people who do experience this know that this carrd has been taken over, and is not in support of DAs existence. I don't want people who use this label to get "reality checked" or feel wrong for identifying with this label. This carrd is against that.

All the news that's print to fit

A gentle reminder for everyone (not just the "kids") to pay attention while reading/listening to news. Especially online. As the ad nauseum statement goes: you are not immune to propaganda.

Remember that Newscorps are biased. Whether it's the writers themselves, the senior staffers, or their corporate overlords, most (if not all) newscorps are going to be biased in certain directions. In extreme cases they'll even make shit up to fit their view. Fox is the most obvious example of this in the US, but it's far from alone. You may know what "local" sources can't be trusted, but if you really want to be diligent it might be good to find out what sources in other countries might be known as bad. (And yes, sometimes the lies come direct from the government, too.)

Beware of clickbait. News sources are unanimously desperate for attention (and clicks). This means their headlines will sometimes be deliberately misleading. Read the damn article, first. Then find articles from other sources to get a more rounded picture.

Never trust an inflammatory headline. For the reasons already explained above. Do your research first before deciding how to react. And by the gods, don't spread stuff until you're sure you understand it. As someone who has hit reblog before looking stuff up, I know how easy it is to get caught by this one. And speaking of reblogging...

People on the internet sometimes lie. Shocking, I know. While some folks can easily get caught up spreading misinformation by not properly reading things, there are also a lot who find it fun to deliberately spread BS. You should be extra suspicious of anyone sharing headlines without linking to the source. I've seen folks sharing Onion headlines as they're legitimate news. The source is carefully cropped out so no one will notice. It happens the most, though, with clickbaity headlines meant to outrage and mislead.

Check the timestamps. Make sure you aren't reading/sharing something from years in the past. This applies not only to the origin of posts on places like tumblr, but when articles were originally published. Again, it's usually a case of deliberate cropping so folks can't tell that the headline they're reading is from six years ago.

There's more, I'm sure, but that covers the bare basics. Another big issue is that I'm pretty sure this stuff simply isn't taught because people assumes that "everyone knows." Except everyone doesn't, and even the ones who do can still get caught up.

Be careful out there, folks. Not only of the, ha, "fake news," but of the real stuff as well. There is an endless amount of world events to inspire outrage; don't let yourself get overwhelmed by it all. Care, by all means, but don't burn yourself out on it, either. You need to take care of yourself, too, so you can keep caring about others.

EDIT: I forgot to mention AI as a recent danger as well. You've probably heard about how lawyers have submitted paperwork that cites imaginary cases, and kids have submitted essays comparing real things to something that doesn't exist, and most importantly the mushroom guide app that misidentifies/makes shit up and can literally get you killed, well. Same can go for news stories. Some of the more fandom-oriented sites are already replacing their staff with AI and I wouldn't be surprised if it's seeping into the mainstream news as well. I haven't heard any stories of newscorps getting caught yet, but I'm sure it's only a matter of time.

About me drawing the marshals and napoleon and stuff like that:

I felt like I should maybe make a post about this since I've been getting more questions about it lately (I know I answered a question about this way back but it's a little bit buried in my posts now)

When I draw the marshals + Napoleon although I try to stick to a good degree of accuracy I also do take certain creative liberties to make them more unique to me as character designs. If you've ever played FGO it's a bit like how they have characters based off historical figures but that are not 100% accurate to them (except I wouldn't say I go as far as they do with my creative liberties I take with my designs).

The creative liberties I take range from appearance (e.g.: Lannes' sharp teeth and hair gradient, Murat's hair being near waistlength, Bessières eyes being red, etc.), to amplifying certain aspects of their personality that made me like them or that intrigued me (e.g.: Murat's flamboyance, Junot's happt-go-lucky levels of dedication to Napoleon, Lannes' hot-headed tendencies), when I'm drawing a Marshal for the first time (most recent example being Soult) I might not have 100% of an idea of what I might want to do with them as a character, so certain inaccuracies might be more protruding because of that (I'm still quite early into my readings about both him and Augereau, I know that for some time him and Ney co-existed in this sort of exasperated "I guess I have to co-operate with you so I'll do it" sort of way, which I thought was funny so I decided to amplify that a bit). These liberties are not meant to stray away from historical accuracies, nor have any malicious intent (villainizing/spreading misinformation) but they are simply to make these characters more unique to me when I draw them, since I sort of half consider them to be OCs because I'm the one interpreting and drawing them in this way.

Basically, the way I draw the marshals + Napoleon is one in which they're simultaneously my own character designs, but also these characters are still based off my interpretation of the marshals/Napoleon and are still meant to stick to a certain degree of accuracy. I'm not saying this means people can't point out historical inaccuracies in my depictions of them, I'm pretty young, and I'm still learning more indepth things about napoleonic history and the people who shaped it, and I really love learning more about these people, especially things I might not have known prior (like how I found out Soult was an insanely unlucky person). If you have any questions/comments to send me about my designs and drawings you can feel free to do so because I do enjoy learning more and given that English is not my first language and I'm writing this after waking up in the middle of the night at 6 AM I might have not explained my POV very well 😭.

The one thing I would say about comments/questions is to please make sure they don't come off as vague/condescending 💔💔 I am schizophrenic, and this can sometimes make it so I easily misinterpret tones to be more negative/intimidating than they really are, I get very easily intimidated/scared/overwhelmed so I would appreciate consideration for this ><

On the kleptomania, it's not as recurring as people with cis kleptomania. Like, I also steal ideas and even system members (different than systrojects but I can't exactly explain atm). But it's the same as when I temporarily have dermatophagia. If I'm triggered into obsessing over it, I'll compulsively have it for a month or two before it dies down.

Also technically speaking I know the cause is OCD and not Kleptomania, so as it's a symptom I feel odd saying I'm cisKlepto when anyone could point to it being simply a symptom of my cisOCD- even if I feel that I should be identified as such.

I mean basically speaking no one else thinks it's cis kleptomania so I feel that it should be with my transids. Though I wouldn't be opposed to just saying I have kleptomania without describing the nuance to others lol /lh

I don't... think what you're describing is at odds with Kleptomania.

Like a lot of disorders, Kleptomania has multiple presentations. One person's Kleptomania may not be identical to another's.

The DSM actually lists extended periods like what you're describing as one presentation.

I just feel like the people telling you that this isn't how kleptomania works may be misinformed, and you might benefit from doing more research into the subject on your own, and seeking mental help.

I don't want to tell you how to identify. I think that, generally, you have the right to identify in whatever way makes you feel comfortable.

But... I am concerned if a reason you're identifying as you are is because of misinformation about how a disorder presents, convincing you that you don't really have it and by extension, that you don't need help.

Kleptomania is a disorder that can land you in a lot of legal trouble. (The part about stealing drives you mentioned in the last post could, anyway. I think you're probably fine stealing system members and maybe even ideas if you change them around enough.) And the justice system, to say the least, sucks. One arrest can destroy a person's whole life. And so I say this as someone who doesn't want that to happen to you.

I'm not a professional and can't diagnose you. But I do think that you should reach out to someone who can.

Please, just consider it.

Feel free to ignore but I just need to rant for a moment.

I'm really annoyed with the way English subtitles are being handled lately. This is gonna focus on the anime Komi Can't Communicate, licensed by Viz Media, but I've also noticed this with animes licensed by Funimation like Boku no Hero Academia. Lately, English subtitles for the Japanese versions are jumping right into adapting their jokes or sayings into something the English speaking audience would understand, and this is normally okay since it makes for less having to explain the joke to an audience that wasn't brought up on it. But the thing is this should only be done in the English dubs, which are already meant to adapt the language and ways of speaking to an English audience. The point of subtitles is so we can understand what they are saying in their own language, even if it involves having to explain the joke in translator notes. But many times I have found myself having to look up what the onscreen text was saying when it was clear to me from first glance that it wasn't what the subtitles were saying. Case in point: Komi's joke.

This reads "futon ga futton da" which translates directly as "the futon flew off". The joke doesn't translate into English but phonetically you can tell it's a Japanese pun.

In the English dub, they adapted this joke to one that fits in our language with "the bedbug bugged the bed", which hits just as well as the Japanese version. It would be fine if this was only in the dub, but when watching the Japanese version, the subtitles kept the dub's translation and not the accurate one. This creates misinformation for those who don't have a basic understanding of the Japanese language and could lead them to think "futon" means "bedbug" when it doesnt.

Second case in point: Ochako getting flustered.

The text surrounding her do not say what she is saying, and even she herself is not saying what the subtitles say. The joke in this scene is that Mina accused her of being in love, or

恋/koi, and her reaction is to question what her meaning is with "鯉/koi" "故意/koi" "濃い/koi". Every single word on screen is pronounced "koi", so it's like she's asking for clarification on what Mina means by saying "koi", even though she clearly knows what she meant.

Yes, the "love? shove? dove?" translates faster and is just as effectively into English, but it works better in the dub, it's not accurate to the meaning of the Japanese language in sub.

Look, I don't know if this is a result on dubbing/subbing companies wanting to spend less time/money into adapting or whatever, but I can remember watching a fansub of the original Digimon Adventure for the first time, and the translator notes took the time to explain the reason Koushiro performed stand up comedy to his parents after they asked him through his bedroom why he was speaking in a particular dialect, was because at the time his digimon Tentomon spoke in kansai dialect. As an English speaker, I would have never understood that, so the translator notes provided knowledge that would have gone over my head before.

Likewise, fansubs for the japanese version of the game Sonic Colors had lots of moments when explaining the joke to me came in handy with increasing my knowledge. For instance, when Tails tries using his device to translate what Yacker was saying, it first translated it's name to "soccer", and when he does get it right, Sonic jokes "are you sure his name isn't yakyuu?" Which is the japanese word for "baseball", while providing the motion of hitting a ball with a bat. The joke is how similar Yacker and yakyuu sound together, and the fact that soccer and baseball are both sports; it's punny. Sure, it doesn't translate into English, but that's not the point. We should be more eager to explain the jokes from other languages so that we can expand our knowledge. Most non-English languages dont know "no prob, Bob" is an English speaking pun. We take these things for granted since it comes so naturally to us, but I am always excited to learn and understand the puns and jokes in other languages, and I want to believe I'm not alone in that despite the shallow translations from big dubbing companies.

[I don't think anyone cares that much, but a heads up on potential activity/post type changes because I'm a big ball of stress and anxiety today in particular and it could potentially get worse after today. I try not to post about this stuff but...Political (even though this is a health matter not a political one but here we are) shit incoming so you know. Cover your eyes if that suits you.

So. I live in Kansas and as some of you may have seen or heard, we are about to be the first state to vote on abortion rights since the overturn of Roe. Long story short, in 2019 the Kansas Supreme Court ruled that Kansans have the right to an abortion through the Kansas Constitution. This of course pissed off the anti-choice camp and they've been trying to fight it ever since, pass MORE (yes, MORE) restrictions, and do anything they can to restrict a potentially life-saving procedure. On this primary ballot (scummy, I know), we are voting on whether or not to add an amendment to our constitution that says it DOES NOT guarantee the right to an abortion in the state and, with Roe overturned, this would open the door to an outright ban in all cases that will lead to the same needless complications and suffering we're seeing from people in other states like Texas, Oklahoma, and Missouri who have the strictest abortion laws if not outright bans.

The misinformation and outright lies coming from this has been concerning and exhausting. Having to explain basic shit like the importance of separation of church and state as well as how personal choice works (i.e. just because you don't agree with abortion and your religion "says" life begins at conception doesn't mean that's what someone else thinks) has been exhausting. But I'm terrified of the outcome of this because, as with the national decision, this won't stop here. Gay marriage, contraceptive use, and a whole slew of other things could be on the chopping block soon and it scares the shit out of me. Decades of progress could be snuffed out in the next few years over the decisions made in the last few months and it scares me. So many people could potentially be hurt and further marginalized because a certain group of people believe their beliefs are the ONLY CORRECT beliefs, and they should therefore be forced onto everyone in this country. I'm scared.

So tl;dr: I'm not sure what activity will look like in the coming days. It might be a lot because distraction ot little because I feel absolutely depressed and demotivated. I will also probably cry either way.
