“Why not Paris?” She hadn’t thought about leaving the states - it’d been a while since she thought about packing up all her shit and booking it cross-country. She made her shot, pivoted towards Gar with a smile. She club was perched against her shoulder, held up like a bat, lazily. “Are you serious?” She had to ask twice - verification before she committed herself and seemed a fool for agreeing and not being in on the joke.

She doesn’t care if he’s kidding anyway, “I’ve never been to Morocco,” she sits beside him, shoulder to shoulder, “When do we leave?”

She’d stood in the shower for about ten minutes, not quite doing anything, just enjoying the water. She’d just taken her shot after not having had it for a day or so due to a mission, and was still trying to calm the rather horrific pain that came with shoving a demonic arm into a much, much smaller human arm. On top of really needing to shower the dirt off from the previous day, she often found that the sounds of the shower would help with her pain, along with the warm running water going along her form, over her arm, scars and all, so the first thing she did after the shot was go straight to the shower to clean off the muck and grime gathered from the last mission and collect herself. 

She doesn’t have a chance to get into her head much when she hears that question, and god, it’s a welcome distraction from the pain. Tired blues glance over her bare shoulder to the shower door as her lips form a small smile. “I don’t think I’d mind some, if you’re offering.” Her head nods for him to come in as she reaches for some soap to run along her arm, and as soon as he steps in, blue eyes look to his form, moving up to meet his goldens. “How are you feeling?” She asks, just to check in.

Hey, I had a thought for the fantasy au! So on one of the previous versions of the WH website, there was a rhyme for the show that went:

A house is a place with four walls and a floor,

with a ceiling above and a lovely front door.

There's a bed to cradle you safely at night,

and windows to bring in the morning sunlight.

Your house is a mirror of just who you are,

A reflection that tells you to never stray far.

Which I thought might make a good incantation for when Wally properly summons Home (I can't remember if that's ever required for Warlocks but hey, it's still a fun poem regardless).

#basically yesterday night was chaharshanbe suri . which is a solar new yr tradition where we let go of the past suffering in our year #and like...start the new yr w fresh vigour . anyway so my friend was at the event and we were abt to leap over the fire #and she was like bro im im glad u blocked her (situationship) etc etc . and then. my phone started vibrating. and i look at it. and my f #friend looks at it. and its her. and were both like what the fuck?? i blocked her things r Over and anyway so i pick up the phone and shesl #acting like nothing happened (bc nothing DID happen for her) and she was like ohh ur doing chaharshanbe suri im not doing anything etc what #are ur new yr plans so i jusr .IDK WHY I DID THIS . but ig i didnt wanna come off as like lonely i said probably hanging out w family and #friends maybe reading poetry together . et cetera and she was like wait that sounds so fun why didnt u invite me! #LIKE WDYM YOUVE BEEN CONSISTENTLY MAKING IT CLEAR U DONT WANT TO BE IN MY PRESENCE . and i told her that after #everything i thought she didnt want to see me again and she was like you always think that 😐 . like. ?? ok anyway so she expects me to #invite her . and like. there is an above 0% but sub-5% chance she will actually show up . but the panic that gripped me #i started making calls to my friends asking them if they can come on the 23rd bc there must be an event and also i asked my mother #and she said actually yeah i am doing a thing on the 23rd :D it involves over 16 ppl (we live in a v small flat) of which like...7 are kids #so you wont have space to be in ur own room let alone invite others. which tbh like ...being around a bunch of loud kids doesnt seem fun fo #any of my friends or me etc so i thought maybe i should arrange things so that we all go out together and if she shows up she shows up 🤷‍♀️ #but . im so. ogfoofodoxx thinking about how the most defining character trait of haymitch is how protective he is. not in the sense it's the most obvious, but how all of his actions are fueled by this desire to protect. how hard he works at keeping katniss alive in the first games, him fighting to keep them from augmenting katniss's body, him yelling at plutarch to keep finnick from having to share his trauma, him being so involved in peeta's recovery and being the one to bring katniss home. him holding mayslee's hand as she died, fighting for plutarch to stay and rescue peeta, being the one to find katniss and finnick when johanna had an episode, begging coin to believe peeta's warning. it being heavily implied or either outright stated that he was one of the people who fought to protect effie.

makes me physically ill because no one does that for him. everyone who would of, died.

Unfortunately, the constant warring of godhood proved fatal for Slythor. Wounded and blinded, they fled into the tunnels, leaving their cult to fracture into a million warring factions in their absence.

Underground they hid, trying to recover from unrecoverable wounds while their nation fell apart above them....up until one spitfire of a toad hunted them down and killed them for good.
