(Open Starter featuring John Bienville. Female muses preferred, can be Heroic or Villainous)
When you first drop into a new city, odds are you don't want the first words out of your mouth to be "Oh Crap", and you definitely didn't want that "drop-in" to be literal. And yet that's what was happening to John Bienville, Homme Araignée of Crescent City. He was minding his own business, swinging along to intercept a bank robbery when a portal opened up and sucked him in, dropping him off.... Somewhere in this multiverse of madness.
"Well, that's gonna be sore in the morning," he groaned, rubbing his back as he slowly stood and looked around, wondering where in the name of Bayou Bourbon he was and how he was supposed to get back home... Or at least have some fun while he was here.
Little did John know he was already on someone's radar, and that someone was on their way...
his real name is harvey weaver and one day he picked up a neat looking spider that looked like a nebula and then it bit him
now hes got the power of falling through dimensions like an idiot and he can make the little 'stars' which he can grab and throw to instantly form webs
he can climb walls but he doesn't know about web-slinging so he just walks or drives lol
i was inspired by orb weaving spiders and the marvel hero singularity
i saw the new spiderverse with my boyfriend the other day and it got me inspired to redesign my spidersona i made when the first movie came out!!! i tried to make them look like a golden orb weaver since that’s the spider they were bitten by, hence the yellow webs. i love them so muchhh
Attempt at Revamping my spidersona / venomsona with a more #8spottedcrabspider aesthetic
Ashley “Dash” Thompson was your average Jock. On top of the world and thinking she could rule over everyone… until a tragic accident took her leg and her crown away.
She hit a low point during that time but thanks to a certain Peter Parker, she managed to get back up.
She learned a lot from Peter (he used to quote his uncle a lot, specially “with great powers comes great responsibilities”), she even became his protector as the years progressed.
I guess you know the rest, Dash got bitten by a spider carrying an extraterrestrial parasite and became the one and only Arachnida, a name given by Peter (the symbiote approved).
Everything went smoothly until the Canon happened...
She and the symbiote lost Peter during the tragedy.
Wanted to practice some dynamic poses, so obviously I draw my Spidersona story characters. I’ve always had the headcanon that a Symbiote can only bond with certain genetic makeups, meaning they’ll reject some hosts and bond with specific others, but there’s also certain levels of compatibility between host and symbiote. The more compatible the bond, the more the Symbiote can fit itself on its host. Think Spider-Man in the black Venom suit, how it mimicked his spider suit and fit his shape very well, versus how bulky and monstrous Venom looks when bonded with Eddie Brock. Venom and Eddie aren’t as perfect a fit as Venom and Spider-Man, despite their personalities and moralities clashing. It’s not about their minds getting along, it’s about their genetics. So when bonded with my OC Amber, Prism is more of a bulky monster, but when she pairs up with Gwen Stacey after Amber’s death, it’s a much more natural fit, meaning Ghost Spider gets what looks more like a spider suit than a monstrous form.
