#its an underwear brand i tried out awhile ago #they felt really cheap and thin and unstretchy when they arrived and within a year completely fell apart at the seams #like i ripped the waistband right off from just putting them on. #the croctches wore right out to nothing and im not even active! i hardly do anything! #and like maybe a year is too much to ask for clothing nowadays but idk i feel like they should last longer than that #i cant afford to replace all my underwear every year #also for tboy oriented underwear i was sorely disappointed that they didnt have pad functionality #idk man #rodeoh #maybe they just arent made for big fat guys idk #the inseam was awkwardly proportioned so it crumpled a lot under my belly but wasnt long enough to go over it #i tried to record a video of how easy it was to pull em apart but it just made me look really strong and also like the start of an OF #i need some validation that im not the only one that experienced this iim dying squirtle

Shinjiham is cute when it’s romantic but tbh I think i vastly prefer the idea of them being best friends instead. Like, neither of them really saw it coming and weren’t really looking to get another best friend (Shinji has Akihiko, Kotone has Junpei and Yukari respectively) but it happens anyway. Kotone takes a liking to Shinji much faster than she does anyone else and I’d say a big reason is just the fact that he’s so reserved that it allows Kotone to do most of the talking while he just listens and they love this arrangement cuz Kotone doesn’t get to talk about her own interests very much. Though I think some of her needs to talk to Shinji stems from this insecurity that he isn’t happy in the group and she has this people pleasing problem and wants everyone to be happy so she makes a much bigger effort to talk to Shinji. And it’s very unfortunate because Shinji intentionally acts cold and distant because he doesn’t want to form any attachments because he wants to die soon, but aaaaaaaagh dammit this girl just keeps talking to him and being sweet and encouraging him to engage in his interests and share them with the others and he just can’t seem to say no when she’s got those damn puppy eyes. And Kotone is just able to get him out of his shell by being persistent but not in an overwhelming way, she’s very cheerful and supportive of him. And Shinji is able to offer her support by encouraging her to talk about herself and by making sure she’s taking care of herself. They just click really well and make such a positive dent in each other’s lives and it’s all about basic acts of kindness going a long way you know?

It is always so funny to me when I rewatch HOTD that Viserys just never considers that marriage as an institution is going to be different for Rhaenyra than it is for him. There are (life-threatening) risks and restraints for Rhaenyra that don't exist for him. And he just will not acknowledge it. I think just a bare-bones acknowledgement of that would have gone a long way to get Rhaenyra to the Sept. But Viserys also flat out does not know how to communicate with her.

REAL…. i think he just genuinely Does Not Understand how its different for women vs him as a man. even though he saw firsthand (and participated) in how the marriage/childbirth institution ruins the lives of the women around him (alysanne, alyssa, aemma, ect) he still views it as just the womens Duty. he sucked it up and did his duty, so the women must to theirs. even when he does acknowledge the part he played a part in aemmas death, he blames it on his *obsession*. not that aemma was a child married off to (what was considered) a man, or even the risks of pregnancy and childbirth itself. its not the system that was wrong, it was him personally. it doesnt help that rhaenyra is the first woman hes experianced to actively fight against that idea.

viserys almost comes close to Understanding why rhaenyra is so opposed to marriage (“were i born a man i could …” “thats true, but you were born a woman.”) but he just cant make that final leap. or even if he does understand how its different for the two of them, he falls back on the ‘but its your duty’ mindset. in order to fully understand rhaenyras position viserys would have to acknowledge her trauma around marriage and childbirth and that would also involve acknowledging his own trauma and, other than dredging up a bunch of unpleasant memories hes already shoved deep inside the bottom of a bottle, would mean having to accept that his upbringing and the way the women around him were treated *wasnt* Normal. it would mean having to accept that the reason his wife and mother and all his aunts died wasnt just a bunch of unconnected individual circumstances, but something indicative of a deeper societal rot. and thats just a leap in logic viserys cant make, or cant accept.

i think thats part of why viserys struggles to communicate with rhaenyra. cause i agree, if viserys had even just said ‘its unfair. i know. im sorry. ill do whatever i can to help you’ it WOULD have probably gone a long way to help rhaenyra accept marriage. but that would mean also having to acknowledge what happened to aemma, his mother, ect, was also unfair and thats just all too much for him to handle. this is not a *society* problem its a *rhaenyra* problem

ok but imagine. lime goes up against the witch king and he fails!!! for one of the first times in his life he fails at something!!!!! but then mochi is able to defeat the witch king and for a sec lime is relieved and he’s so proud of her. he loves her so much. but then he sees a bright light and mochi falls. hes panicking slightly and calls her name quietly then louder as he runs over. the whole battlefield is so quiet bc everyone is like “was that…? did she —“ and once lime reaches her he pulls her body into his lap and takes one look at her face and just SCREAMS. the girl he loves is gone. her eyes are vacant. maybe if he were a little bit stronger he could’ve at the very least helped her defeat him. maybe land the final blow so she’d still be alive and she’d be smiling at him. maybe he’d get to tell her he loved her. but he has to settle for sobbing those words into her hair as he holds her to his chest — to feel her warmth one final time before its gone for good.

btw can totally imagine lime looking up and seeing sulluvan looming over him and lime has a full meltdown saying he won’t let him take mochi
