actually i think i will have it so that one of odette's parents was from The Country bc that would make for such a crazy conflict for her bc of her age alone

she's old. approx. late 30s, early 40s. she would've grown up learning about her heritage, her parent's culture, wish craft, the stars, maybe even some of The Country's language. it'd be a huge part of her life--hell, maybe she'd want to get into researching the stars herself because of it.

and then one day, all of that knowledge disappears. everything odette learned about half of her family's heritage and culture, gone in an instant. no memory of any of it--and she probably wouldn't realize it until it's brought up to her.

#btw if she was related to the king would that be fucked up or what #<- prev tags OUUOOUUOGHGHGGHGGH do it. thatd be sooo painful but itd make it soooo good too but gayum the pain of that #thatd also make for a good bonding for odette and odile with how they both dont know the other half of their culture #but its more painful on odette with No Other Way of actually knowing about What half of her culture thats missing #and the only possible way of getting closer to it is smth that she doesnt even know existed in the form of the king and once #she Does found out bout it somehow its alrdy too late with the king completely frozen in time. i feel like she once found #comfort in the fact that she and odile are in the same boat but seeing odile reconnect with her other culture and be with her friends #makes odette feel far more distant towards her now. odile gained what she cannot obtain and now. odette isnt even sure #bout their friendship anymore with odile with everything thats happened #friends oc #isat oc #isat spoilers #odette

#aria rants #i have an idea thats REAAALLY testing the limits of it but i love it too much on em to change it so... honestly im really one of #the outliers in the fandom with the stuff im doing to isats universe honestly. im testing everything on it #from the way that im the no.1 fan of the cursing of chateau castle outside of it and the way i keep thinkin bout the worldbuilding #and now im testing the limits of that very same worldbuilding itself cuz i want cool design on my own oc. living my life out here rlly #its fun! its fun to just think bout the lil things of it then see how Far i can challenge those lil things without breaking anything

WAit, I have another question in regards to isat worldbuilding... Do you think that it's preferred to have a one-handed weapon compared to a two-handed one in isat? Because of the fact that to be able to use Craft, you need your other hand for that. So if it's a two-handed weapon, to use Craft, you'd need to put the weapon down so it's a bit of a hassle to have a two-handed weapon in that way unless your Craft type is either rock or scissors that makes it possible to form without putting the weapon down.

#aria rants #i have only like-- 4 fandom ocs with 2 of em am planning to taking away from the media. again. yeah i uhh... recycle em #i actually have 5 that i recycle once im not tooo fixated on the media theyre supposed to be the oc for and i just either put em #in the back or use em for a different media. i have one for prsk. omori. mhyk. and now isat. the other one at the back rn is the #2nd prsk oc that i decided to pluck outta there to just focus on one. also the ones im thinkin of pluckin out the media #is the remaining prsk oc and my omori oc. am thinkin bout it but until i decide what to do with em theyll just stay for the time being #for now ill be thinkin more bout what i wanna do for sol. only born last night (when i thought bout the name)... poor thang

Watching dunmeshi while eating is a nice experience ngl, I get to watch it in my own pace and also slowly enjoy my food while I watch the characters either eat peacefully or get into near death experiences with the inbetween of eating what nearly killed them.

#aria rants #normally id breeze through any anime and binge all the episodes available pretty quickly but am taking my time with #dunmeshi cuz i only watch it while im eating and depending on how fast i eat. i get to watch around 2-3 episodes per day #since well-- my vampire ass wakes up so late in the day i only get to eat once which is my dinner thats also my breakfast and lunch #senshi would frown at that but alas! first i need to fix my sleep sched and today i WILL sleep early

Just finished eating when the neighbour's cat came strutting in meowing loudly which is new cuz she normally comes over without meowing much and she was circling around the living room looking for something so I was like: Is she looking for food??? It just so happens that I was eating fried chicken. So then I thought: Is this what she smelled??? All the way from the outside??? So I decided to give her a lil and yeah... it was the chicken.
