Please give a warm welcome to @theartofdreaming1 to the CSSNS!

Please welcome @theartofdreaming1 to CSSNS!
How long have you been in the CS/OUAT fandom?
I've been into OUAT since it started airing in Germany in 2012 - but since I preferred watching it in English, I kinda had to wait until I could buy the DVDs for my viewing pleasure... So I've been more of a passive fan, dipping in and out of the fandom whenever the mood struck... And these past few months, the OUAT/CS mood has been thoroughly rekindled ;)
When did you start shipping Captain Swan?
With the beginning of season 3, I think (definitely was intrigued by the idea of CS early on in season 2, but I think I only fully committed to CS when the Neverland arc began)
What drew you to this event?*
It's been a while since I've had the time to participate in a fandom event, so it's been really serendipitious that this event coincided with me catching another bout of OUAT-fever and having finally handed in my BA thesis :)
What inspired your topic?
Mermaids are some of my favorite supernatural/mythological beings and I haven't gotten around to drawing mermaids in a while, soo... (plus, I think it fits nicely with the nautical theme Killian's got going on, lol)
If you would like to share a snippet/sneak peek/summary of your fic or artwork, please use the space below.
It's still in the early stages... I'm still deciding whether I want to go for an Enchanted Forest setting or a modern setting (kinda Shape of Water-vibes; maybe with Killian as a marine biologist?)
For our artists: What kind of art do you like to do? Picsets, painting, digital, etc? Feel free to give as much info as you like.
Digital art/illustration
What are you looking forward to most about participating in this event?
Getting to know some more fellow OUAT/CS fans, collaborating on a bigger project... and getting to draw some Captain Swan, of course! ;)
@theartofdreaming1 will be doing artwork for @beckettj dropping on 7/1 and her own original artwork drops on 7/15. Make sure to say hi to her on Tumblr and on Discord!

hi!! can i get some dr teeth headcanons for a relationship with mutual admiration? 💚
Sorry I didn't see this before, dude, (/gen) I don't know how long this ask has been in here but I'm certainly hyped to see it! My hyperfix on the Muppets has been super strong lately, so you asked at a great time! I love Dr. Teeth but I don't know him as well as the other Muppets... really need to see the Disney+ Muppet Mayhem show... but in the meantime I can definitely rustle up something for you ^u^
Dr. Teeth x GN reader with mutual admiration 💚
As the resident band of the Muppet Theatre, Dr. Teeth and The Electric Mayhem are always working on something new and exciting for each show. You can't help but gaze in awe at the group's leading man as he sings his heart out, hammering the keys with passion and energy.
Of course, as the band's sound engineer, you have an intimate relationship with each of the Mayhem's members, but Dr. Teeth and you are by far the closest. He gives you his innovative, wildly creative arrangements, and you give them expansive, gorgeous dynamics, adjusting each sound channel until every instrument and voice is perfectly balanced.
Your hard work doesn't go unnoticed. Dr. Teeth can hear what he wants his songs to sound like in his head, but the way you polish them up is beyond even his imagination. And your gorgeous smile when everything comes together doesn't hurt, either. He hams it up for you, really, putting on his best performance, even if it's just rehearsals.
After one show, Dr. Teeth comes up to you and gives you a hearty pat on the back, laughing in his raspy voice.
"That was a serendipitious symphony of seismic proportions, (Y/N). Thanks for all you do. This wouldn't be possible without ya, you know?"
You insist this wouldn't be possible without him- and everyone else, you quickly add with a blush- that the Electric Mayhem's the guys who make all the magic happen.
He shakes his head with a toothy grin. "Whoever said you weren't part of the group? You are, in my book."
Blushing even harder now, you ask if he's joking.
"...I've got a lotta faith in you. Have a little faith in me, too. I wouldn't let you down, kid."

Three lives : my serendipitious discovery
Do we want happiness, will it be enough no it won't be do we want love will it be enough no it won't be do we want food will it be enough no it won't be do we want money will it be enough no it won't be do we want respect will it be enough no it won't be do we want kindness would it be enough no it won't be do we want satisfaction will it be enough no it won't be.
An exact metaphor for the repetitive conclusion that we thrive on at the end of our day. Getting something that we want in our life gives us satisfaction. But only satisfaction of gaining it not for the life.
Here providing three Stories that'll keep you to think back to yourself what is it that we want. A Beautifully handcrafted concepiscible book "The three lives" by Gertrude Stein.
A stroy of three women and how they died without meeting the ends they dreamt of. Not to spill much. The book has three parts posting likewise.

i just watched this new netflix film 'beauty' which i think is loosely based on whitney houston & robyn crawford's hidden love story (if you guys didn't know about them, google them please, they had such a beautiful unconditional love for one another 🥺, also they're another leo x sag combination like kaylor!), well anyway it made me think about kaylor (as one does).
i kept thinking about how much taylor and karlie's love story was never in taylor's plan you know, if we really think about it? i mean i know that we all know karlie's the reason why taylor moved to nyc, but i don't think we could imagine how much of an impact karlie really was/is to taylor? 1989's main character (aside from taylor of course) is new york city. she made that city hers with 1989. would 1989 even be the 1989 we know today if she didn't move to new york? what if she didn't meet karlie in vsfs, and taylor went on with her life moving to london instead, who would be the taylor swift we know and love today?? isn't it serendipitious how each decision we make, leads to a completely different life? and taylor chose new york/karlie, hence 1989 golden era happened. even if majority of 1989 isn't literally about karlie, the aesthetic, the era, the vibe, the imagery, the essence of 1989.. is very much karlie and how it's the result of taylor meeting her at such an unexpected time or place? it's so beautiful! i don't like crediting anyone else when it comes to taylor's music, because for me everything is hers and hers alone, but we can't also deny how karlie's influence on taylor led us to 1989 and all the following albums! ah! and now, how will taylor promote 1989 TV? i just can't imagine 1989 without karlie because it literally happened because of her and taylor's meeting.
ps. i don't really believe in things like destiny or fate, but damn it! their story made me believe that hey maybe it does happen for some people 😭 and they're living proof of it!
that’s the power of a muse!!

jealousy, love, death.
jealous in a dream with j. there was a woman, a client of his, attractive in her long dark hair and cherubin face. the three of us sat across a long table with empty plates and polished wine glasses. i felt them looking at each other as they discussed her case with lots of nodding and agreement, slowly becoming familiar with each other's non-professional lives through the specifics of hers. i think my hands were on my lap the whole time, erect and behaved, like a school child watching adults make serious plans. at one point the woman showered j with praises, organized and trustworthy of a man that he was. a dry observation came through me: they could make a great pair someday. or sooner. idk. i was hurt by my own jealousy, thinking how easy it would be for him to leave my side and go across where the woman and her dark hair and sweet smile and not-so-messy life were waiting for him.
last night, i went to j's house in a haze, rushed by rage for an ex who's still bothering us in his lurking creepy way. we agreed on confronting him on the phone, insist that he fuck off and stop assuming our personal lives were still connected with his. but lo and behold, the night had better plans for us. when i climbed down the car, j and i took a walk to the nearby cafe, bought take-outs, shared meals in their living room, caught the forgiving night air on his balcony as i drank the carbonated refreshment he excitedly made for me, felt the closeness of his body, felt him really there, kissed on the corner while the kids hanging out on the nearby store probably glimpsed us, drifted off into his bedroom, continued kissing, made love. he had minty-colored bedsheets, the one he showed me the night before in a video call, giving me the best laugh i had in days (the top he wore that night serendipitiously matches his new bedsheets in a comedic preciseness). i was dripping wet, all with love and complete awe of this person who can lay me down in his green-tea colored bedsheets and make me feel the most safe.
left their house by 10 pm and drove back home overtaking trucks and being honked at by vehicles in the opposite lane, toying with danger. but before that it was mostly slow. all the big trucks were full of weight and the darkness of the night can really haunt you in a melancholic way. at one point, i got hypnotized by the slow rhythm of the trucks and their red/orange headlights meeting mine. it felt like a dream. nothing felt real but this foggy non-physicality of things. i felt like i was watching myself hold the steering wheel. i realize now that maybe i was disassociating. anyway, it all seemed like a peaceful death was within my reach. like i could just close my eyes and leave this corporeal body. everything unreal but death. i was really hypnotizingly okay with everything last night. then the dream of j and a woman client appeared when i slept the sublime okayness away.

During a journey of Peter Potamus to somewhere in Polynesia Uncharted via his Magic Balloon
PETER POTAMUS, rather casually: Uh, So-So ... has it ever been mentioned to you just why it is that primitive cultures and societies are as open and direct about sex matters as they are?
SO-SO, maintaining his place at the balloon's helm: You mean to the point of fascination, Peter?
PETER POTAMUS: Obviously, So-So! And while it's understandable that sex is essential to survival of a community and its people, in many of the more indigenuous cultures and societies having yet to be trammelled underfoot by "Civilisation," and the racist ends it serves, sex is actually seen as a perfectly natural and normal experience!
SO-SO, rather excited like an overzealous schoolboy: You mean like the Trollkins down South, in a way?
PETER POTAMUS: Rather interesting analog there, So-So! And I wonder how you came up with it ... but at any rate, such primitive peoples don't really need pornography to realise their sexual interests and desires; it's basically in front of them! And besides, over in such parts of Polynesia like we're heading to, traditional folkways look upon sex as an enjoyable and magical experience!
SO-SO: Ohhhhh ... how magical can it actually get, Peter?
PETER POTAMUS: VERY magical indeed, So-So! And what better way of relaxation could such natives have than just being among themselves and letting the sheer magic of "those feelings" release itself unannoyed, undisturbed and leaving just a wonderful sensation in the end! And what could feel more relaxing in the face of such unexploited wonder, even when diving and surfing naked are other choice distractions feeling wonderful in their own way?
SO-SO: Ahhhh ... just to picture love at its purest and most naturally undisturbed ...
PETER POTAMUS: Such a sense of wondrous curiosity I happen to like in you, So-So ... which can make otherwise predictably dull journeys seem easier to handle until we splash down just outside the Three Mile Zone and I make my way with my natural hippo-type romantic charm in pure, untrammelled Polynesian nature!
[Which can only end in rather serendipitious laughter]

Hanoi, part 2.
Tumblr media
When you're about to travel to Vietnam, most people tell you that Hanoi is their favourite place. There's a whole section of the old quarter that bans cars and motorbikes from the afternoon, to allow families and tourists to walk around the lake peacefully. Hanoi tends to be the first place you visit, and so the shock of the motorbike parade really hits you. Hanoi is where you first learn to cross a Vietnamese road: facing forward, walking at the same speed all the time, making sure no big cars are around and just going for it. The motorbikes swerve you and are used to pedestrians, but it never does feel normal. Hanoi charms you with its hidden temples, it's low buildings, it's very unapologetically 'Vietnamese-ness'. You'd struggle to find 'western' food places in the old town, and you'll see Vietnam flags raised in every corner you look.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I always wish we took more photos to describe the 'vibe' of the place, because Hanoi is one to capture on film.
We had Pho for breakfast, which was one of the main missions of the day after we'd woken up with a slight hangover. The other missions were:
1 - Meet Adam, David's friends from school, somewhere in the city
2 - Eat some more Banh Mi
3 - Expeience the train barelling through 'train street'
It must have been a lucky day that we got to accomplish all three.
On the way to Beer street, where we'd be meeting Adam, his partner, and their friends, we stumbled upon St. Joseph's Cathedral. It's a 19th century Gothic building that looks unbelivably out of place in the middle of Hanoi. It stsands in a square in a busy 'guild' district, all around it are tiny streets, wide enough for one person, with shops, tour agencies, and tiny coffee shops. The streets of Hanoi are a bit maze like, with a road appearing out of nowhere and ending up in a back alley where you can rent a motorbike. Anyway, to hide from the heat we went to a coffee shop called 'Blackbird', where Vietnamese youths were bevearing away on their Macbooks and drinking some seriously strong coffee. It felt serendipitious (Blackbird is one of my favourite Beatles songs), and we felt lucky to get to observe a slice of 'real' Hanoi life and not one put on for tourists.
Tumblr media
We linked up with Adam in a cafe near train street, where we drank the obvious fresh bia and caught up about their adventure so far, and what was next. We may seem like the only people travelling to you, but we have bumped into and chatted to lots of people who are doing a very similar thing: using the pandemic as a springboard to change jobs, or go travelling for an extended period of time, renovate their house, start a business... a big change, basically.
I promised David this would be a short blog post, and look at this...
After snacks and beers, we said goodbye and promised to catch up in London. Who would have known that we'd see each other a week later by chance!? (Spoiler alert). With some doubts about the validity of my research, we made our way to train street to sit in a bar and hopefully watch a huge passenger wagon pass by inches from our faces. And boy is it impressive! When the business owners hear/are aware that a train is about to come by, all hell truly breaks loose. There is screaming, whistling, people ushered away from the street. and tables and chairs moved back. And then it happens - everyone falls silent as the air is filled wiith the sound of a huge machine shrieking by. Your brain really cannot comprehend what your eyes are seeing as there's a huge bulk of an object occupying your entire field of vision moving extremely fast. It's a must do, a must see, and mostly, absolutely mental.
I don't have to mention again how warm and humid it is in Vietnam. It's not something I can get used to, and it means you (I?) feel a lot more tired and warm out after some time on the trot. Long gone are the 45 min walks we'd do in London on the regular: with this heat, anything more than 20 mins is non-walking territory. With an early pick up the next day, and after having walked a fair amount in the city, we set off for Banh Mi 25, a famous spot for that delicious baguette made of dreams. We'd been 48 hours in Vietnam and had eaten this twice, and even now, weeks later, I still dream of the freshness, variety, and playfullness of Vietnamese food.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
To get some culture in our veins, we attended the water puppet show after dinner. If you do attend, which I recommend, you should probably purchase the audio guide separately. This is a beat-by-beat translation of the dialogue, the meaning of the different puppet animals and the intricacies of the dance. You get to enjoy a variety of different (and new to us!) instruments and songs, and for 50 mi it’s you get to sit somewhere with AC. No complaints here.
We went to bed having really enjoyed our time in Hanoi, and eager to discover more of Vietnam. The beer and snacks tour we did was our absolute highlight, as it gave us an insight into people's daily lives (everyone has at least 2 jobs), the tensions between north and south Vietnam, and their day to day struggles.

Hi! I hope you're doing okay❤, I read that you are going to take break from the T70s fanfics but before you go, do you plan to update out on the tiles? Because is one of my favorite fanfics:(.
And no pressure if you don't wanna update it, please, do what makes you feel comfortable❤
Lots of love xxx
Hello!
I'm doing good, thank you for asking :) and thank you for liking my fics so much. Honestly speaking, for a couple of weeks now, no matter how hard I've tried to write new material for the t70s fandom, I've always felt like I'm just recycling material. Kinda makes me feel like I'm just writing the same fic over and over again with slightly different plot line.
This was the same reason I took a break from the Doctor Who fandom a while back and serendipitiously got into t70s. So, well- I'm jumping ship again :)
I do have a couple of chapters of some of my works like Morning Glory (which is completed) and Out On The Tiles that I will be updating, but I'm not currently writing anything new. This also means that the few lovely prompts I did get will be stuck in my inbox for a while.
But, like I said- I'm jumping ship, not leaving it. My WIPS will be on a hiatus instead of abandoned. I'll hope you will keep an eye out for them anyway.
Thank you so much for the love, lovely! stay safe!

SPN 3x04 “Sin City”
Can’t believe Katie Cassidy is top billed while Jim Beaver is listed as a guest star.
Whoa, a new motel set. They shelled out for this episode.
If only we could have fully fleshed out female characters andnot have walk-ons treated like objects that only exist for the male gaze.
General Hammond, what are you doing here?? (AKA Guest star watch: this random guy I wasn’t paying enough attention to to really catch who he is is Don S. Davis, late of Stargate SG-1.)
Clearly there were already demons wandering around before the Hellmouth was opened (Meg, Azazel, etc), so how are we to know which ones are new and which were already here or would have been anyway? I guess it doesn’t really matter, but we keep talking about how it’s a war against the ones we let out.
Actually, it is pretty dumb that they don’t have the exorcism ritual or whatever it’s called memorized at this point. Well, Sam probably does. :P
“Depends on what?” On how good your manners are, Sam. How big your...pocketbook is.
Not knowing offhand how tightly plotted these five seasons were, I was willing to see the Christianity references as retroactively ironic or serendipitious, but now that we’re on the fact track to season four and that all blowing up Big Time, everything feels Real, and I’m In It.
...I think I’ve been running around my apartment trying to find a cricket that was actually part of the background noise in this episode. In my defense, I have been having cricket trouble recently. Hate those noisy little buggers.
So the body of the priest is macking on the body of the girl he’s watching grow up since she was in pigtails. Demons are not good for consent, y’all.
Also, why do the literal demons have to follow the trope of “man is aggressive while woman frantically tries to make peace”?
“Maybe these people really just wanna destroy themselves”? The town has a hopping bar and some sex workers. I don’t see literally anything here that counts as “destroying” a town. In fact, it was pointed out at the beginning that the town was half-dead, so I’d say the economy is actually better now.
“I’ll be there with you, the little fallen angel on your shoulder.” Uh, have we considered the posibilities of Sam/Ruby/Gabriel?

Hello I’m the person who requested “I Don't Go In For Sweets” and...just let me begin by saying thank you from the bottom of my heart, thank you for dedicating your time and your energy to write it, it was absolutely perfect and everything I wanted! I sent you this request the day before a huge exam (yes, instead of studying but that’s another story lol) and surprisingly, you posted the fic a day after I got my results and saw that I passed so it felt a bit like some reward and yeah I know you didn’t do it on purpose but still, it was amazing! Now let’s dive into a deeper analysis (I like to do this but it’s quite long, don’t feel forced to read it, no pressure!)
First, the very beginning: Polly and Tommy’s talk and how can I say this? It was so good, so well written I was actually seeing the scene as clearly as if I was watching the last episode of s3, I could actually hear them talk and see them move and it was too good to even feel like reading! I’m also so grateful you had the idea to bring the impact of Tommy’s mother’s death on him because...it’s not something we see a lot in the show but I’ve always been convinced that he had always been very affected by it and he would never want the same for his son.
Now, the wedding day: “The fact that everything about this wedding was so obscenely different from his first did soothe his guilt a bit” this kind of sums up a lot: Tommy compares all of this situation to what he had and rejoices over the fact it’s not as perfect, as beautiful, as great as what he had with Grace because it makes him feel slightly better, he isn’t betraying her as much as if he was enjoying marrying a new woman but then...she arrives and he can’t help it but find her pretty.
You perfectly showed this inner conflict of always having Grace in mind, always reminding himself of her and how better she was, this is not something he’s doing because he enjoys it but because it’s the best solution.
And of course he makes sure his opinion is known, he doesn’t smile back at the the altar, the big wedding kiss he gave to Grace is here, a simple, almost nonexistent brush on the lips, he doesn’t try to get to know his wife, on their way home, he has this revelatory lapsus “I've already asked the maids to take them up to your-our room” because deep down, it’s not his room or their room, it will only be hers because he won’t sleep in it much and he shows it a moment later when he doesn’t even sleep in the same room as her on their wedding night! I mean the scene where she’s waiting for him all nervous and giggly because she knows what happens...or at least she thinks she knows but then she wakes up alone in the morning, no “husband” in sight. Then comes breakfast, Tommy introduces her to Charlie (who wasn’t even at the wedding!!!) like he would present his new nanny because in a way...that’s what she is. He didn’t marry that girl because he wanted it but because it was something he knew his son needed. I really loved the fact you didn’t make Charlie love reader instantly because as kind hearted as he may be, he’s still a child who suddenly lives with an unknown woman his dad doesn’t even seem to like but one little discussion is enough to make him warm up to her and yeah I liked seeing this, it was very well done!
Then we get to see Tommy couldn’t care less about his wife and a thing kind of stroke me: reader has insomnia sometimes and Tommy doesn’t seem to worry or even think about it, he just sees it as more occasion for her to talk to him and ugh please no! And it shows how detached he can be which is so so in character! Afterwards you wrote about how he didn’t invite her to family meetings and stuff which I think was important to mention and maybe you didn’t think it this way but he keeps her away of very important part of his life: the business and the local bar he spends time with his family which is quite a...special place because that’s where he met Grace, that’s where their story began and family meetings? Inviting her would mean she’s part of their family, they trust her enough to welcome her but 1) he doesn’t really care about her enough to trust her and 2) would grace really have been invited to these meetings? Considering what she did? Definitely not so in not inviting his new wife, he doesn’t give her an advantage of being more welcomed in the family than grace was because, again, she’ll never be enough, she’ll never be grace. And it was so important to show this and you did it so beautifully, so subtly, wow!
The birthday party is also a great way to show that reader has a great relationship with everyone except her own husband and their convo in the office afterwards bluntly stated that. Tommy is so heartless, so cold, so...awful towards the woman he married! I really hated him in this moment because clearly she’s trying, she wants to make things alright but he will not let it, he will push her away no matter how harsh he has to be. And there is no apology, no compassion, nothing, he doesn’t care. He knows how bad his words hurt but he owes nothing to her.
And even when he’s awful to her, she still offer her time and her attention. He comes home completely drunk and considering the way he treated her, she could let him deal with his terrible state alone but she won’t, he’s her husband after all...I really loved how you turned that scene, we can see some of reader’s... I don’t know what to call it but so far, she let him have his space and now, when he rejects her help, she still gives him a hand. And then he compliments her, out of the blue and yeah he’s completely drunk but it feels true. And even better, he apologizes and explains his awful behavior and it was essential to have this! It was essential for reader to hear it from him that she didn’t do anything bad, it wasn’t her fault or anything, he just struggled with understanding what her place was. Even better, she reminds him she doesn’t want to take Grace’s place.
It was everything he needed to understand because right after this, he allows himself to let go a bit and then...a little bit more and again...some more until finally the stables scenes arrives! And my oh my! How much more beautiful could this story get? The fact they bond over something Tommy loves is just...amazing! It allows reader to see a gentle side of him because we all know how Tommy gets whenever he sees a horse, it could and will make any woman fall in love with him. And this scene holds so much...power and emotion, she trusts him enough to let him guide the horse even though she doesn’t know how to ride it and he assures her he won’t let her fall which is so important because he accepts the fact that she trusts him and he want to be worthy of that trust which is a big step because it means he cares. And they have the loveliest moment, just the two of them, no grace clouding his mind, no hatred, no unnecessary talk, just a husband and a wife enjoying the nice weather. He helps her off of the horse and he grabs her waist but he doesn’t feel the need to take off his hand and it shows progress, it shows he enjoys having her close and he looks at her, it’s the first thing that came to his mind, her beauty and now he doesn’t feel guilty about it. He stares at her, he enjoys it and he doesn’t want to stop. And finally because well, this story couldn’t just stop there, it reached a whole new peak in beauty: their real, true first kiss. It doesn’t mean we have a fairytale and happily ever after but it feels like a true promise of better things coming up, the kiss he gave her on their wedding day (as a way to seal their wedding vows) was given...reluctantly to say the least but now, he was promising her to be better in the future and truly respect those vows and it’s just the most perfect ending this story could have! It was just a magnificent, so beautifully well written story I don’t even know what to say anymore (and I think I’ve already said way more than I should be allowed to!) than it was perfect, you’re so talented and I’m so thankful you agreed to write this! I hope I haven’t killed you with my pages of review lol! Have a wonderful day <3
Ps. I didn’t proof read this so sorry for mistakes and nonsensical sentences :)
Hello!
First of all, thank you so much for writing me to tell me how much you appreciated your fic. I really like knowing that the person who requested a specific fic enjoyed it so, It means the world!
And just look at that! I certainly didn’t know anything about your exam, but what a marvelous most serendipitious coincidence! It makes everything seem much more magical, don’t you think? The universe never ceases to amaze me! 🥰
Also, thank you for the analysis. I always like to write things so that they go beyond words in order to convey feelings and stir deeper emotions and I’m so glad you not only perceived them but also liked what I was trying to project!
I too, feel in my bones that Tommy’s mother’s death affected him a lot. Maybe it’s not something that keeps him awake at night (or all nights) but I definitely feel like it is one of the thoughts he keeps on the back of his mind and is constantly nagging him. And polly of course is one of if not the only one who can see it.
As for the wedding and their marriage in general, I did want to show Tommy having this conflict because as we know, our man doesn’t let go of things easily. And like Tatiana Petrovna once said, his fear is freedom. Im not saying that Grace stopped him from being free, but he insisted on staying in the past, and when the reader comes up she’s basically carrying with her this humongous banner that reads FUTURE.
He does think the reader is pretty and he knows that his family accepts her and his son loves her but he doesn’t want to give in, he’s almost afraid of doing it, so what is the easiest thing to do? Push her away. And still when he’s awful to her she helps him because I want to believe she can also look behind the walls he so desperately put up around him. In the end I didn’t want to make it like *poof! They magically fell in love! * but like you said, I wanted it to end with a promise of better things to come.
Again, thank you so much for taking the time to write. I enjoyed analyzing Tommy’s mind with you and I hope you have a lovely day as well!
P.S: Congratulations on your exam results! 🤍💐

i've been musing about that tweet of someone seeing kaylor pass by (within 5 mins interval) again, and saw people debating if they actually met up or is it just another "coincidence" with a C. if they didn't actually meet up, i find it so funny how the universe is SUCH a kaylor that they'd (always) be at the same places, in the same time frame.. wow fate must love them so much to have so many opportunities of a chance encounter ain't it? like one of those serendipitious rom-com movies. again we don't know what's actually up BUT either reasons are so funny and delightful to me. 😂
i got your other anon as well ☺️ that was very considerate of you to send.
i’m of a similar school of thought, in that it’s the kind of happening that plays to many ideas of what the real story could be, without knocking out too many realities, which i’ve decided to find interesting. once again this idea of folklore.
when these things happen it always gets me curious about the beats that might be hit on the way to them publicly socializing again, some day.
taylor likes to play (i’m not saying subvert, i’m saying play) with cultural norms, and there’s a lot of potential for her to engineer things and present things in a way that taps in to those rom com sensibilities that, ultimately, can change a lot of peoples hearts.

guess who is out here getting their works stolen too? cheers to that luv!!!! you know the drill: report and block, get this fic stealing dummy off ff.net claiming the hard work of authors like myself, midnighteverlark (@serendipitous-magic) , and kirabook (@willel) (using AO3 usernames here lol)
so far it’s only been one work of mine (75 Days, and only the first chapter at that, granted it’s only been like 4 hours) but this person needs to stop claiming they wrote these stories!!
Tumblr media
that announcement on their profile page is so humorous. get out of here; those fics are not your own and you are not gonna get away with this. yes, it’s just fanfic but we did put in the time and effort to write these stories and it is not at all respectable or okay in general to discredit the work authors put in by reposting our stories and claiming it as your own.
I’ve seen already that this person is not open to discussion but here’s a call out post anyway because this needs to be addressed!
here’s the link to the unauthorized repost of my fic ; please go leave a review stating that the fic is stolen!! I see a couple people have posted reviews already and I thank you for that!
here’s a link to go report abuse for the fic itself
if you can please email [email protected] to report the account “PorousBubbles” for stealing and reposting works!!
for reference if you need it, here is the link to the authorized post of my fic on AO3 and here is the authorized post on tumblr.
here are a couple posts going around with more information from others: one from willel and another from serendipitious-magic
below the read more line is me harping on about this but a foreword: thank you to everyone who is out there reporting these fics and spreading awareness about this!! I am grateful to you all for helping protect authors and their content! Seriously, it’s extremely appreciated!
The description makes me chuckle; oh boy, porousbubbles you child you. The point of the fic is not that Mike can’t say it...but alright then! (Also erasing El from my original description, fam let’s not...)
Tumblr media
Also, not cool how there are added and changed lines and words in order to “claim” they wrote it. I mean, seriously?
Tumblr media
(original text above, reposted and slightly changed below)
Tumblr media
a bit more egregious of a change here
Tumblr media
(original text above, reposted and changed text below)
Tumblr media
it’s just funny at this point.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
it’s still plagiarism even if you add a couple words!! you did not write this story, I did because I was inspired by a soft post about byler kissing hands. You changed a couple words but it came from me and you are not gonna get away with that concerning me or anyone else.

Hi bit of a random question here with a probably unnecessary prelude. You seem to like Captain America and support the view he supported in CA:CW, which is fair enough. I'm not asking about that though. What I wanted to ask was your opinion was on the Siberia part of CA:CW. I personally think that whilst it wasn't right for Tony to attack Bucky and Steve, I do think it was understandable, as he'd just seen his parents been murdered and the person who did was right next to him. What do you think?
Oh hi! Glad you’re still around, you always have great questions! And this is a doozy, lemme tell ya.
I have, a lot of issues with that part, mostly because of how canon was changed over the years (originally the winter soldier was not involved, it was a mob hit with possible ties to Hydra) and how impractical it feels: to wake up the WS, reprogram him, send him to New York/America, and have him go after someone he once knew, when those are all things that have previously broken his programming. All that just to shoot a tire out of a car? Not worth the time and risk.
And then have a video laying around, convenient, when every other record of it being a WS/Hydra hit was apparently destroyed? Nah man, thats just...overly serendipitious for Zemo’s plot.
But that’s not you’re asking. You’re asking if, in the moment, Tony was justified for going after the person he was told had killed his parents. Yes, he kind of was. Had he punched Bucky and tried to take him in for murder, that would be one thing. Had Bucky been a mercenary hired to kill the Starks, and had chosen to kill them, that would be another thing.
But the problem is the buildup of that entire movie was trying to prove something about teamwork, communication, community, and ‘Bucky Barnes is a fucking victim here’. (Ok really, its, dont be fucking racist)
What happened in Siberia was a real clusterfuck of wrong place, wrong time, wrong last 24 hours of misunderstanding and miscommunication (dear G-d fucking communicate), and wrong players. Steve couldn’t let Tony kill Bucky, Bucky finally doesn’t want to die, and Tony was already pissed at the two of them and willing to let that drive him. He was not in the wrong exactly, (but uh. If you want to walk around wearing a small army base worth of weaponry, please learn some coping skills that aren’t ‘blow shit up’) but he wasn’t entirely right.
If this had been the first five minutes of the movie instead of the last five, I would have been a lot more sympathetic actually. Because Tony has, in the last two hours of screentime - given a ‘pity me’ speech right before mocking some kid in the crowd, supported a bill that would affect everyone without consulting everyone, supported a bill with direct negative effects on human rights, insisted everyone be held responsible for actions he deliberately concealed from them, refused to consider second opinions on said bill, and shot a paramedic for trying to do their job. Oh yeah, and had everyone arrested without due process and dumped in an underwater prison controlled by someone who wants to vivisect his teammate’. He’s not been acting like someone we should really root for. (I will never forgive them for making him trust Ross, I’m sorry.)
He also first asked Steve ‘did you know?’ which is not an indication of presence of mind (i don’t remember the correct term) but does show that he had some sort of ‘wait wait what?’ Going on. The way he attacks Bucky is desperate, but also calculated to an extent. (Side bar: imo, Steve didn’t know. He thought Hydra did it, but using the WS, as i mentioned, was impractical. And Steve understands the importance of the practical application of resources. When he said yes, he was 1. Redirecting Tony’s anger in a direction he could control, and 2. Answering whether he had known Hydra had them killed.)
There’s also the matter of - has Tony been living under a rock? The evidence of what Hydra did to create the winter soldier is probably not hard to find, especially if Steve’s been running after him for (idk what the timeline is like) a year? More? Tony is nosy enough to find those files and see what they did. He knows Bucky isnt the WS, kind of like he isn’t the suit. Difference is, he built it and put it on, didnt have it forced into his head, and when the government threatens to control him, he says (in this order) fuck off, no, and finally: I’ll take it off. He gets to walk away. Bucky and Steve, Natasha, Wanda, Vision, they don’t.
I know this isn’t exactly what you asked, since it’s technically a yes or no question, but the context makes it so much more then that. It’s a question of, can you, a hero with enough firepower to destroy a city, control yourself in a personal situation? And the answer is no. And that means you probably shouldn’t have enough power to destroy a city in your control 🤷🏻‍♀️.
So tl:dr: Tony is justified in his momentary anger and shock, not in his continuous desire to kill/hurt Bucky and Steve (and his inability to move past his personal trauma for the good of the world/others). Get a therapist, punch a brick wall.

Day 1: What are the top 10 things you are grateful for in this life of yours so far?
1. Having a strong mother, I think she taught me well on how to survive this crazy world. Still need to learn to thrive though...
2. My beautiful sisters. Although we had a rough start but we managed to stay sane and became closer and now they are my go-to person.
3. My long-time admirer who is now my husband. Didn’t know that he’s the one...but I guess life acts in a serendipitious way :)
4. Achieved my goal: being a mom. To two wonderful daughters - the anchor of my life, the ones who truly shape and changed my world.
5. @nariswaridy for being my ultimate shitmate. For being around on almost every corner and milestones.
6. A healthy body and sometimes mind.
7. Shelters to live on - yes, I’m still staying at my parents on weekdays and at my in laws on weekdend. Still, something to be grateful for being able to be together for my family most of the time.
8. Having close friends who are always there in need and indeed.
9. Being able to pay the bills monthly. And that includes having a stable job.
10. When I’m down or in trouble, I always feel that there’s someone backing me up and help me get out from the mess I make.

she’s getting over him. at least that’s what their friends have been saying. the flood of her texts has been dwindling, and for a few weeks it has come to a complete halt. she’s doing better now, and she looks happier or at least that’s what he apprehends from her instagram feed. it’s his worst nightmare come true -------------- but he should be glad for her. after all, it’s not like freddie has been a good influence in her life. all he ever brought her were sparse moments of happiness clouded by the pain he inflicts on mostly everyone who gets close to him. and chiara had been, to this day, the one that gotten the closest. it’s been a month since he last saw her, and it’s serendipitious that they find themselves at the same cafe. “ chiara, ” he greets her, unsure of what he should say next. she looks like she’s doing well... himself? not so much. “ you look... nice. i mean, like you’re doing fine. ” he cringes inwardly at his idea of small talk. “ how’s um... how’s life? ”  ( @brusqucs )
